ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE ROLE
As a People Operations Manager on the People team, you will build, scale, and maintain the operational foundation that supports our team in France. This role exists to ensure our daily HR processes run seamlessly, keeping the company fully compliant while delivering a reliable, clear, and high-quality experience for every employee.
You will act as the primary point of contact for employee lifecycle milestones, everyday operations, and external vendor relations. Your impact will be felt directly through the precision of our monthly payroll, the clarity of our internal policies, and the efficiency of our onboarding systems.
This position requires a balanced blend of hands-on administrative execution and process engineering. You will own the full operational landscape—from local labor contracts and complex immigration cases to scaling our HRIS software—while constantly identifying opportunities to automate workflows and reduce friction.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Process payroll end-to-end for France-based employees, collaborating closely with external providers and our internal Finance team to ensure timely, precise execution.
- Own the onboarding journey, managing labor contracts, amendments, certificates, and system updates so new hires are integrated accurately from day one.
- Navigate immigration and mobility requests, directly managing work permits, visa renewals, and National Security Number applications.
- Resolve daily employee inquiries regarding benefits administration, enrollment changes, and company policies with clear and prompt support.
- Maintain compliance infrastructure, regularly updating employee handbooks and monitoring shifts in French employment law to protect the company.
- Lead HR software initiatives and vendor management projects to evaluate, implement, and refine our HRIS and payroll tools.
- Streamline operational workflows by documenting, automating, and auditing existing procedures to eliminate administrative bottlenecks.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a startup or high-growth environment, alongside a degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Deep operational knowledge of French labor laws, local employment regulations, national payroll structures, and tax compliance.
- Proven experience managing the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding through retention strategies to formal offboarding.
- Technical proficiency with modern HR technology solutions, including HRIS platforms and automated payroll tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory updates into practical internal policies.
- A practical, hands-on execution style combined with a builder mindset—you genuinely enjoy creating order out of ambiguity and setting up scalable systems.
- Clear, direct communication and interpersonal skills to manage sensitive employee topics and coordinate effectively with external vendors.

Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
Role Summary
The Data Infrastructure team at Mistral AI is architecting the backbone of our frontier model training and fine-tuning ecosystem. We are building the specialized compute and data fabrics required to power the development of world-class AI.
Our vision is to operate some of the largest compute fleets in production and build data lakes and metadata systems with a roadmap toward exabyte-scale architecture. We are currently in the process of building a high-performance training platform designed for massive scale across both on-premise and cloud-native Kubernetes environments.

About the Role
This role focuses on building and operating the next generation of data infrastructure at Mistral AI. You will be a core contributor to our evolution, helping us design and scale massive compute fleets and storage systems designed for high performance and scalability.
You will help us move toward a future of decoupled control and data planes, scaling big data compute and storage platforms while ensuring secure and governed data access for MLOps and research. Wrike is our people, not a place. As a distributed team, we own our growth, stay globally connected, and rely on the product we build to deliver impactful work alongside brilliant minds. You'll have real ownership over meaningful work, a global team that has your back, and the flexibility to do your best work your way. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
Our vision:
A world where everyone is free to focus on their most purposeful work, together.
About the Role:
You'll help build the very AI-powered platform you use every day, with real autonomy over the features you ship. As the leading collaborative work management platform, Wrike generates an enormous amount of rich, interconnected data, including work item content, relationships between entities, complex business processes, user interactions, and direct user input. The mission of the DS/ML department is to transform this data into intelligent, AI-powered capabilities that help users gain deeper insights, automate routine work, enhance productivity, and create a more seamless work experience.
As a Data Scientist in the Work Intelligence Unit, you will play a key role in product development through the application of state-of-the-art AI and machine learning technologies with a particular focus on leveraging Large Language Models and other emerging technologies. You will work on both user-facing AI features and foundational intelligence platform that power intelligent experiences across the product.
Your Impact:
Creating new and improving existing AI solutions Involvement in the whole process of data-driven development from analyzing product requirements to launching the feature or system to production (with the help of MLOps specialists) and improving it based on results of monitoring and feedback
Communicating with fellow data scientists, product owners, and developers
Applying best software engineering practices to build a reliable codebase
Performing code reviews
Working in agile environment and presenting the results of your work on regular sprint reviews
Your Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in AI, Data Science, and Machine learning
Experience in LLMs, LLM-based APIs, prompting techniques, metric-driven development of prompt-based features, agentic systems, and other related topics
Experience in building complex multipart and multistep LLM-based and ML systems
Proficiency in Python (including pure Python, and not only jupyter notebooks)
Experience in using reproducible research techniques
Experience in developing AI solutions for production usage
Full professional proficiency in English
Standout Qualities:
Experience in AI and ML solutions related to one of the areas: social networks, recommendation systems, ranking, entity matching, process mining, system personalization, risk estimation
Confident statistical and machine learning skills
Experience in creating core AI systems that are foundational to the product and are used in many parts of it
Experience in classical software development and architecture
Interpersonal skills:
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required with the ability to work within all levels of an organization.
You are proactively pushing yourself to develop your skills and knowledge
Decision making and argumentation skills
Open to feedback and ready to react on it
Ability to work autonomously on a project level
Our Work Style:
Code: Python, Jupyter, mypy, uv, black, flake8
Data: pandas, SQL, BigQuery
GenAI & LLMs: Langchain, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Vertex AI, Braintrust
LLM Platform: Versioned Prompt Registry(jinja2), Declarative LLM Feature Configs (multi-step workflows, model routing)

Cloud: GCP, Dagster, MLFlow
Coding Agents: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor

Location: Serbia; Georgia
We are looking for a structured and execution-driven Strategic Project Manager to lead complex market expansion and business localization initiatives across multiple regions and business units.
The role focuses on turning ambiguous business needs into structured execution plans, business cases, governance frameworks, and operational launches. Success requires strong stakeholder management, an ownership mentality, and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives without direct managerial authority - but with strong C-level support and dedicated resources from Finance, Legal, Tax, Product, Payments, Commercial, Marketing, and Analytics assigned to each initiative.
This is not a traditional administrative role. We are looking for someone who can independently drive initiatives from idea to operational launch and build frameworks to make future launches faster and more predictable.
Responsibilities
1. Business Case Development & Strategic Planning:
Build and structure business cases, ROI assessments, and operational models for market expansion initiatives.
Turn ambiguous business requests into actionable implementation plans, decision-making frameworks, and launch criteria - in close collaboration with Finance, Legal, Product and Business stakeholders.
Prepare and present business cases and initiative proposals to C-level stakeholders - including structured storytelling, trade-off framing, and recommendation of go/no-go decisions.
2. End-to-End Initiative Execution:
Lead market expansion and localization initiatives from planning to operational launch.
Coordinate cross-functional implementation across Product, Finance, Legal, Payments, Operations, and Commercial teams.
Manage timelines, dependencies, escalations, and execution accountability across parallel workstreams.
3. Governance, Stakeholder Management & Reporting:
Drive alignment across senior stakeholders with competing priorities.
Maintain governance structures, execution tracking, and transparent reporting.
Establish scalable project documentation, decision logs, and post-launch performance monitoring.
Requirements
4–8+ years of experience in strategic project management, business operations, transformation, or other cross-functional execution roles - with a strong track record of personally leading and delivering complex initiatives end-to-end.
Proven ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments across multiple stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Tax, Product, Payments, Commercial, Marketing, Analytics, C-level).
Strong ownership mentality, structured thinking, and ability to drive initiatives from concept to implementation.
Business and operational mindset with high attention to detail and execution quality.
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with data, reporting and collaboration tools.(our stack: Confluence, Miro, Gantt, YouTrack, Slack, Tableau, Trino).
Benefits
Flexible schedules and opportunity to work remotely;
Ambitious and supportive team who love what they do, appreciate each other, and grow together;
Internal programs for adaptation and training, development of soft skills, and leadership abilities;
Partial compensation for participating in external training and conferences;
Corporate English school: Group and individual lessons, speaking clubs with colleagues from all over the world;
Corporate prices on hotels and travel services;
MyTime Day Off - an extra non-working day without loss of compensation.
