At TechBiz Global, we are providing recruitment service to our TOP clients from our portfolio. We are currently seeking a Senior Formal Verification (FV) Engineer to join one of our clients' teams.
Reporting directly to the Vector Unit Verification Lead, this is a highly technical Individual Contributor (IC) role. In this position, you will be the dedicated formal expert for the VU team, responsible for designing scalable formal testbenches, writing mathematical properties, and ensuring the absolute algorithmic and architectural integrity of our vector pipeline. You will work side-by-side with VU microarchitects to hunt down deep corner-case bugs and achieve formal sign-off on high-complexity arithmetic and execution blocks.
Key Responsibilities
Block-Level Execution & Convergence Engineering (90%)
End-to-End Testbench Ownership:
Design, deploy, and maintain robust formal verification environments for complex Vector Unit sub-blocks (e.g., Vector Execution Pipelines, Vector Register File/Rename interfaces, and Vector Floating-Point Units).
Datapath & Arithmetic Verification:
Implement advanced word-level modeling, bit-blasting, and algebraic rewriting strategies to verify complex IEEE-754 floating-point and integer vector arithmetic units.
Proof Convergence Management:
Independently diagnose and resolve proof-convergence failures, over-constraints, and state-space explosions using advanced reduction techniques (e.g., case-splitting, black-boxing, and abstraction modeling).
RISC-V Vector Compliance:
Develop formal environments to mathematically prove that the VU pipeline strictly complies with the RISC-V Vector (V) Extension specification.
Simulation Partnership:
Collaborate closely with VU simulation engineers to define a razor-sharp boundary between simulation and formal verification, ensuring maximum bug-hunting efficiency and zero coverage gaps.
Embedded Mentorship & Best Practices (10%)
Formal-Friendly Design:
Partner with VU microarchitects during early-stage RTL development to drive formal-friendly coding styles and structural design patterns.
SVA Propagation:
Review and refine SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) written by design and simulation peers, establishing best practices for block-level assertions within the VU team.
Education:
B.S./M.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with practical industry execution; or a Ph.D. with a research focus on formal methods or computer arithmetic.
Experience:
5+ years of production-grade hardware verification experience (or Ph.D. + 1–3 years) with a strong, proven track record of applying formal verification to CPU, GPU, or DSP execution pipelines.
Collaboration Style:
A self-driven engineer who enjoys deep mathematical puzzles, collaborates seamlessly within a localized block-level team, and can translate complex proof counter-examples into actionable bugs for designers.
Datapath Validation Focus:
Strong specialization in arithmetic formal verification, algebraic rewriting, and word-level modeling. Familiarity with control-path formal techniques (liveness, safety properties) is highly welcome.
Vector Microarchitecture:
Good working knowledge of high-width execution pipelines, vector execution units, or floating-point/integer arithmetic hardware. Experience with Out-of-Order execution mechanics is a plus.
Formal Tools:
Proficient command of commercial EDA formal tools (e.g., Cadence JasperGold/DPV, Synopsys VC Formal, Siemens OneSpin) and their specialized mathematical/datapath apps.
Languages:
Native fluency in SystemVerilog and SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA). Scripting proficiency (Python, Tcl, or Bash) for testbench automation.
Nice to Have
RISC-V Core Verification.
RISC-V Ecosystem:
Familiarity with the RISC-V Architecture, specifically the Vector (V) and Floating-Point (F/D) extension ecosystems.
Emulation platforms (Veloce, ZeBu).
Core/Bus interface protocols (e.g., AXI/CHI).

Workplace: fully
We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive
Business Operations Engineer
to join our team. This is a cross-functional role where you'll rotate between different departments, identify operational challenges, and take ownership of solving them.
Rather than simply coordinating between teams, you'll be expected to investigate issues firsthand, design practical solutions, implement process improvements, and build automations that make our business more efficient. You'll work closely with management and operations teams to streamline workflows, create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and develop scalable systems that improve day-to-day operations.
If you enjoy solving complex problems, optimizing processes, and building solutions that have a measurable impact, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Rotate across different business departments to understand workflows and identify operational inefficiencies.
Investigate problems uncovered by management and determine their root causes.
Design and implement practical, scalable solutions to improve business operations.
Build automations and internal tools that eliminate manual work and increase efficiency.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for optimized processes.
Lead operational improvement projects from problem identification through implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are adopted successfully.
Continuously evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements.
What We're Looking For
Excellent at
Problem solving and critical thinking.
Working collaboratively across teams.
Building automations, systems, and scalable business processes.
Good at
Mathematics and analytical reasoning.
Technology and learning new software/tools quickly.
Reading, writing, and documenting processes clearly.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, enjoys tackling complex operational challenges, and is comfortable taking ownership from start to finish. You think like both an operator and a builder - able to quickly understand how a business works, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that create lasting impact.
This role is similar to a Project Manager in terms of cross-functional collaboration, but with a much stronger emphasis on hands-on problem solving, process design, automation, and execution rather than simply coordinating communication between teams.

About The Opportunity
You will have the opportunity to join a team responsible for designing the industry's leading Crypto trading system, including Spot, Margin, Perpetuals, Futures, Options, and various risk control models such as simple account, single-currency margin, multi-currency margin, and portfolio margin.
This system supports daily trading volumes of over ten billion USD for both retail and institutional clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
The plumbing of the exchange.
Order management, matching, margin, risk engine, lending/borrowing — across both spot and derivatives. When you ship, millions of trades route through your work the same day.
Infrastructure that holds up where others can't operate.
You'll work directly with Legal, Compliance, and local market teams — not to check boxes, but to design systems that clear the highest regulatory bar in finance. That bar is our moat.
Outlearning the competition.
Talk to traders, take apart competing systems, and decide where we lead vs. fast-follow — across crypto and TradFi.
The instruments that show us the market first.
Build the data and monitoring layer that gives us situational awareness of our own stack and the broader industry. If something's drifting, breaking, or shifting — you know before anyone else.
The 3–12 month direction.
Decide what we build next, and when, based on product lifecycle, competitive landscape, and what our capacity actually is — not what makes the deck look good.
Shipping through.
From spec to launch, you're the person who gets it out the door — pulling engineering, design, ops, and marketing into alignment without becoming the bottleneck.
The AI harness and agent architecture for your domain.
Design and ship multi-step agent workflows — tool use, retrieval, evaluation, human-in-the-loop checkpoints — that power how Core Trading operates. Spec agents the way you spec products.
What We Look For In You
Bachelor's degree or above in mathematics, physics or computer science major.
5+ years experience in building sophisticated backend systems in either crypto or Traditional Finance industry.
AI native skillset that allow you to ship at 10x because you automate the work flow first.
Possess rigorous logical thinking, excellent teamwork, communication skills and be able to coordinate resources to solve problems and achieve goals between different departments.
You possess a strong interest in trading, blockchain and the financial industry.
You are proactive, enthusiastic and sensitive to customers' feedback from a product lens.
Fluent in English and Mandarin (to communicate with Mandarin speaking clients / cross-teams).

Trading experience in sophisticated institutions.
