Solvd Inc. is a rapidly growing AI-native consulting and technology services firm delivering enterprise transformation across cloud, data, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. We work with industry-leading organizations to design, build, and operationalize technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Following the acquisition of Tooploox, a premier AI and product development company, Solvd now offers true end-to-end delivery—from strategic advisory and solution design to custom AI development and enterprise-scale implementation. Our capability centers combine deep technical expertise, proven delivery methodologies, and sector-specific knowledge to address complex business challenges quickly and effectively.
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to replace a manual, per-customer release process with real CI/CD, and to build the infrastructure and observability layer underneath a platform migration moving from a single-tenant-built, multi-tenant-operated model to a genuinely self-serve one.
This role is the reason the other roles on this engagement can move fast. Right now, standing up a new customer means someone manually editing a spreadsheet of build variables, committing, and running a pipeline by hand. You're the one who turns that into something that doesn't need a person in the loop.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Redesign the current manual, per-customer release pipeline into an automated, parameterized CI/CD pipeline that a provisioning event can trigger directly — no manual pipeline run or spreadsheet edit required.
- Build and operate secrets-management infrastructure — vaulting, per-tenant scoping, rotation schedules — that the backend credential-issuance service runs on top of.
- Own infrastructure-as-code for all services being built as part of this migration — provisioning APIs, configuration services, admin console — across dev, staging, and production environments, with consistent and reproducible builds.
- Build monitoring and alerting for a distributed, endpoint-heavy system with known failure modes — stale proxy detection, retry storms, unbounded local queue growth — turning silent failures into pages before customers report them.
- Maintain build and release tooling for multi-platform client software, making platform-specific configuration differences visible and manageable rather than a source of drift.
- Tighten access controls, logging, and distribution for production configuration tooling as part of the broader security posture of the release process.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years in a DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE role with real ownership of a CI/CD pipeline for a production system — not just consuming someone else's pipeline.
- Hands-on experience with secrets management — designing rotation schedules and per-tenant/per-environment scoping, not just storing static values.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or equivalent for standing up and managing multiple environments consistently.
- Experience building observability — metrics, logging, alerting — for distributed systems with many independent, loosely-connected clients.
- Comfortable working with multi-platform build pipelines across at least two operating systems, including packaging and signing requirements.
- Security-conscious by default — this role directly replaces a process that bakes shared secrets into distributed software; access control needs to be a standing question, not an afterthought.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience turning a manual, human-run release process into a fully automated one as a scoped project — not just incremental pipeline improvements.
- Experience operating infrastructure for a self-serve, marketplace-distributed SaaS product.
- Familiarity with cloud data platform deployment models — warehouse-adjacent compute or native application distribution.
When you join Solvd, you'll…
- Shape real-world AI-driven projects across key industries, working with clients from startup innovation to enterprise transformation.
- Be part of a global team with equal opportunities for collaboration across continents and cultures.
- Thrive in an inclusive environment that prioritizes continuous learning, innovation, and ethical AI standards.

Our capability centers combine deep technical expertise, proven delivery methodologies, and sector-specific knowledge to address complex business challenges quickly and effectively.
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a team migrating a production SaaS data platform off a legacy ETL/streaming-based pipeline and onto a Snowflake Native Application built for self-serve distribution and per-tenant data isolation.
This isn't a greenfield build — it's a migration with real legacy constraints. You'll be working from an existing production system that has already been audited in detail, and turning those findings into a working Snowflake-native data platform. You should be comfortable reading someone else's architecture, spotting where it breaks down at scale or under multi-tenant isolation requirements, and redesigning around it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Re-architect ingestion — design and build the replacement for the current endpoint-to-cloud-function-to-streaming-queue-to-ETL-to-warehouse path, moving ingestion natively into each customer's own Snowflake account so the platform's data-sovereignty story is true end to end.
- Migrate legacy ETL logic — translate existing transformation logic covering activity, meeting/event, network context, and system metadata data into Snowflake-native pipelines using the right combination of native transformation tooling and orchestration.
- Design for per-tenant isolation — build data models and pipeline logic that hold up under a cross-account, multi-tenant distribution model, with tenant boundaries addressed explicitly at the schema, pipeline, and secret-management level.
- Work through known technical debt — shared credentials baked into client-side builds, build-time-only configuration with no live tenant provisioning, inconsistent cross-platform data-capture parity — deciding case by case what gets carried forward, redesigned, or retired.
- Rebuild the platform's core data model — activity, event, network, and metadata — preserving the analytics the business depends on while moving underlying storage and processing into Snowflake.
- Validate against real production data patterns — batch sizes, sync frequencies, offline-queue backlogs — captured during discovery to ensure the new pipeline design holds up under realistic load.
- Document migration decisions clearly enough to be defended internally, to downstream customers, and through a formal marketplace review process.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years as a data engineer with hands-on Snowflake experience — native transformation and orchestration features, not just SQL.
- Real experience migrating an existing production ETL pipeline to a cloud-native target — not a from-scratch build.
- Working knowledge of streaming and event pipelines.
- Comfortable reading and reasoning about a system's security model — encryption at rest and in transit, key management, multi-tenant secret handling — well enough to flag when a proposed design reintroduces a previously identified gap.
- Familiarity with a major cloud provider's function/PaaS services, as parts of the migration will need to interoperate with the current production system during transition.
- Experience designing for multi-tenant SaaS data isolation — schema-per-tenant, row-level security, or equivalent patterns.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience building and distributing applications through a cloud data platform's own marketplace or listing model.
- Background in workforce analytics, activity monitoring, or similar behavioral/event data domains — application/window/URL activity, meeting data, network context.
- Exposure to BI tooling migration alongside an underlying data platform move.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:
ICEYE's Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) AI team builds models that turn satellite imagery into intelligence for defense customers. Your job is to work with data scientists to build sustainable infrastructure, workflows, and deployment practices for the AI models, both in the cloud and for on-premise systems. You sit with the AI team and work with them to build the infrastructure they train, evaluate and ship on. Like our platform work, every environment is temporary and must be reproducible from code; a model is only done when it runs, monitored, on hardware we don't control.
WHO WE ARE
ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We deliver persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth.
ICEYE owns the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. To our customers we provide intelligence with unmatched quality, latency and revisit times, in any weather, day or night. To governments who choose to operate their own constellation we provide this proven capability as a sovereign system.
ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.
Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build training, evaluation and packaging pipelines that take a model from experiment to versioned, deployable release.
- Deploy and serve models on Kubernetes with GPUs, in the cloud and on-prem, including air-gapped sites.
- Package models, weights and dependencies so they install and upgrade offline.
- Manage GPU compute: scheduling, drivers, utilization and cost, across cloud and on-prem hardware.
- Track data, experiments and model lineage, so any result can be reproduced and audited.
- Monitor models in production for performance, drift and failures, without relying on outside connectivity.
- Write tooling in Python that the AI team uses every day, and work in the model codebase alongside them.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must haves:
- Senior hands-on engineer (not an engineering manager or architect role).
- Proven experience deploying ML models to production and running them there, not only training them.
- Strong Python, and comfort reading and changing ML code (PyTorch or similar).
- Hands-on Kubernetes and containers, including GPU workloads.
- Infrastructure as code and CI/CD for ML (for example Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions).
- Daily use of AI tools in engineering work, beyond chat: generating and reviewing code, configuration and tests.
- High autonomy: you find problems, propose fixes and drive them through.
- Motivation to work in new defense: building technology used by defense forces.
Nice to haves:
- Deployed models to on-prem, edge or air-gapped environments.

HOW WE WORK (OUR VALUES)
Make the impossible possible: We set ambitious goals and stay calm under pressure. We bring grit, optimism, and ownership when things get hard, and we keep moving until we find a way.
- Be curious: Go deep, ask questions, listen carefully, and think critically. Understand the “why” behind decisions.
- See the big picture: Stay close to what’s happening across the company so you can make better decisions. Consider how your work affects others.
- Drive effective teamwork: Create psychological safety, invite different perspectives, and build inclusive teams. There are no bad questions.
- Act as one team: We win together. We match tasks to the right owner and stay agile as priorities shift.
- Have fun: What we do matters—and it should be enjoyable. Celebrate progress, take pride in results, and share the wins.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:
ICEYE's Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) team builds products that put ICEYE satellite data to work for military and intelligence users. We deliver tactical and strategic intelligence to sovereign mission customers, many of them using space-based data at scale for the first time. The team brings together military intelligence, data science and AI, and software engineering.
Our products run in secure, sovereign environments. We develop in the cloud for convenience, but customers run the product on their own servers, often in air-gapped networks.
This role is not about keeping one system running and tuning it. Here, every environment is temporary: you build the automation that creates, ships, upgrades and tears down complete deployments, reliably and repeatably, in places with no internet access. You work inside the product team, not beside it, and many of your changes will touch the application codebase.

ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We deliver persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and own the automation that packages our product and deploys it to on-prem and air-gapped customer environments.
- Write tooling (mostly Python) that fills the gaps between off-the-shelf tools, rather than only configuring them.
- Provision and manage infrastructure from bare metal and hypervisors up to Kubernetes, and make it reproducible from code.
- Keep cloud development environments fast and disposable, so engineers can spin up a full stack on demand.
- Build CI/CD pipelines that produce signed, versioned, offline-installable releases.
- Set up observability that works when nobody can reach the system from outside.
- Spot what the team needs next and raise it, without waiting to be asked.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must haves:
- Senior hands-on engineer (not an engineering manager or architect role).
- Strong experience building infrastructure and deployment automation, not only operating existing systems.
- Solid coding skills in Python, or deep experience in another language (for example Go) and willingness to work in Python.
- Daily use of AI tools in engineering work, beyond chat: generating and reviewing code, configuration and tests (for example Claude Code, Cursor).
- High autonomy: you find problems, propose fixes and drive them through.
- Motivation to work in new defense: building technology used by defense forces.
Nice to haves:
- On-prem or datacenter experience: bootstrapping servers, virtualization (VMware, Proxmox), storage and networking, not just public cloud.
- Delivered to air-gapped or otherwise restricted environments.
- Release engineering: shipping a packaged product to many customer environments on a fixed schedule.
- Built internal tools and automation used by other engineers (a CLI, an operator, a provisioning service).
- Operated PostgreSQL in production (upgrades, backups, migrations); PostGIS a plus.
- Strong IC track record in a startup or a fast-changing company launching new products.
- Comfortable in an environment where process and requirements change often and are not always fully defined.
- Clear communicator who works well with experienced, opinionated engineers.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Outline the stages of this role, including task stages.

We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
Your main goal will be to empower n8n enterprise users to treat automation as software, enabling them to develop, deploy, and scale mission-critical workflows with absolute confidence.
To do so, you’ll own product strategy and execution for n8n’s Enterprise team, focused on application lifecycle management, developer tools, and production-grade workflow operations:
WORKFLOW LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT
- Define how teams move workflows from development to production with clear environment separation and promotion paths.
- Shape capabilities for workflow version history, rollback, branching, and conflict resolution.
- Build product experiences that help engineering teams safely manage changes across mission-critical automations.
ENTERPRISE DEVELOPER EXPERIENCE
- Own Git-based source control workflows that make n8n fit naturally into modern software development practices.
- Work closely with Engineering and Design to deliver powerful yet intuitive tools for technical teams.
- Translate complex developer workflows into product experiences that feel reliable, scalable, and easy to adopt.
PRODUCTION OPERATIONS AND OBSERVABILITY
- Build visibility into workflow performance, usage, and reliability across environments and instances.
- Define how enterprise teams manage external secrets, variables, and configuration across deployments.
- Help customers operate n8n at scale through multi-instance management and cross-instance visibility.
PRODUCT DISCOVERY AND CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP
- Deeply engage with enterprise customers, engineering leaders, admins, and developers to understand their software delivery needs.
- Prioritize ruthlessly across technical depth, usability, enterprise readiness, and long-term platform leverage.
- Align Engineering, Design, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and leadership through clear strategy, specs, and communication.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- Proven product management experience: You’ve shipped complex technical products in enterprise environments and can point to lessons learned that shaped your craft.
- Strong developer empathy: You understand how engineering teams build, test, version, deploy, and operate software in production.
- Thrive in ambiguity: You bring structure to fuzzy technical problems and prioritize clearly across many possible directions.
- Exceptional product sense: You anticipate edge cases, second-order effects, and enterprise-grade reliability needs without needing perfect information.
- Ownership and bias for action: You fix what’s broken, ship, learn, and iterate rather than over-plan.
- Influence without authority: You align engineering, design, data, sales, solutions engineering, customer success, and docs through clarity and trust.
- Technical product judgment: You’re comfortable making tradeoffs across usability, scalability, security, reliability, and implementation complexity.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Git and source control experience: You’ve worked on or closely with products involving Git, branching, versioning, pull requests, or conflict resolution.
- Enterprise security experience: You understand secrets management, environment variables, access control, or secure configuration patterns.
- Observability experience: You’ve worked on products involving monitoring, usage insights, performance visibility, or operational dashboards.
- Coding or SQL skills: You can code, write SQL, or go deep enough technically to partner effectively with engineers on architecture-level discussions.
- Remote work experience: You’re familiar with remote-first work environments and can collaborate effectively across time zones.
- Entrepreneurial or early-stage experience: You’ve worn many hats and can navigate in many areas at once.
Why join us?
At n8n, your work won’t disappear into a slide deck. You’ll shape how engineering teams build, version, deploy, and operate mission-critical automations at scale — turning n8n into the platform where automation is treated with the same rigor as software. You’ll join a fast-growing, remote-first team with high autonomy, strong technical ambition, and direct visibility into enterprise customer impact.
Sound like a challenge you’re excited to take on?
Apply now — and help us build the future of automation.
