ABOUT SENTRY
Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building.
Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Sentry helps over 4 million developers understand and resolve issues in their applications. Behind every error, performance trace, replay, and log is a large-scale data platform responsible for storing, querying, and analyzing massive volumes of telemetry data.
We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Events Analytics Platform (EAP) team, which builds and operates the distributed data systems powering Sentry's products. The team manages petabytes of data and develops high-performance analytical infrastructure using technologies like ClickHouse, enabling fast, complex queries across billions of records.
As Sentry grows, so do the technical challenges. The team is evolving its storage and query infrastructure to support increasing data volumes, more complex analytical workloads, and unified access to different types of telemetry data. EAP also provides the data foundation for Seer, Sentry's AI-powered debugging agent, enabling AI systems to access the production context needed to investigate and resolve issues.

- Believe in using proven technologies and committing to a single, reliable choice rather than chasing novelty.
- Think in terms of building for scale and cost effectiveness from day one, and for the needs of many teams rather than one.
- Value cross-functional collaboration and thrive in hybrid, in-person settings with engineers across functions, levels, and geographies.
- Take pride in building strong, healthy teams and enabling them to lead high-impact, multi-year initiatives.
- Want to be part of a thoughtful, highly technical team that cares about long-term system health and operational simplicity.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with a focus on internal tooling, infrastructure automation, platform engineering, or distributed systems.

- Strong technical communication skills and a track record of effective cross-team and leadership collaboration.
- Proven experience delivering and owning multi-year engineering initiatives in a leadership or technical leadership capacity.
- Comfortable working across org boundaries and aligning priorities across infra, platform, and product teams.

Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

ABOUT PEEC AI
Peec AI is the analytics platform for AI search. People increasingly discover products and make buying decisions through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews instead of traditional search, and most brands have no idea where they show up in those answers. Peec gives marketing, SEO, and growth teams the data to see exactly that: how visible their brand is across AI platforms, how they compare to competitors, and where to win.
We are defining this category, and the market is moving with us. Peec is a Series A company backed by 20VC and Singular, that went from $0 to $15M ARR in 18 months, with a 100+ person team across our Berlin HQ and our New York office.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Mid-Market Account Executive in New York to own our larger deals across North America. You'll sell to marketing, SEO, and growth leaders who are watching their organic traffic get absorbed by AI answers and need to show their own leadership what to do about it. Your job is to build that case with them.
You'll build your own pipeline into named accounts, work with the SDR team on coverage, and run the full cycle from there. We are defining the category, so part of the job is teaching the market what good looks like, not waiting for a buyer who already knows they need this.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own and run the full sales cycle from first meeting to close across mid-market accounts in North America
- Generate your own pipeline into named accounts, and partner with SDRs and Marketing on targeted outbound and ABM across the patch
- Multi-thread across marketing, SEO, growth, and procurement stakeholders, and build the business case that gets a deal signed
- Keep your CRM clean and your forecast honest, with a strong handle on deal progression
- Build lasting relationships with your customers and spot expansion opportunities as their AI search programs grow
- Feed what you learn on calls back into product, marketing, and the sales playbook. At this stage, your input shapes how we sell.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 4+ years in a quota-carrying software sales role, closing mid-market deals end to end
- A consistent track record of overachievement against quota
- A builder of your own pipeline: you can point to closed deals that started with your own prospecting, not a lead that landed in your inbox
- Experience running multi-stakeholder deals, including building business cases and navigating procurement
- Sharp communication and a natural ability to tell the story of a new category simply
- Comfortable selling in a category that is still being defined, where you shape the buyer's thinking rather than respond to an existing budget line
BONUS POINTS
- Repeatedly achieving President's Club
- Experience selling SEO, analytics, or martech software
- Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment
- A track record of selling to marketing, SEO, or growth buyers
- You already know what GEO and AEO stand for.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Transparent comp with a 50/50 base to variable split, plus equity
- Comprehensive benefits package
- Collaborative, high-energy in-office work environment
- Opportunity to make a significant impact and define a new market category

All applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
COMPENSATION
The base salary range for this position is $121,000 to $141,500 annually with anticipated on-target earnings being $242,000-$283,000. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors including the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and location, in accordance with applicable New York law.

Sentry already sees the moment software breaks: the error, the trace, the replay, the commit that caused it. Seer, our AI debugger, uses all of that to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. We're looking for a Staff engineer to help decide how that system should evolve as models improve every few months. Some of what we build today will be obsolete by next spring. Part of the job is knowing which parts, and building the rest to last.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Build state-of-the-art agentic AI systems to triage, debug, and solve real production issues
- Set technical direction for how our agents get context, use tools, and decide when they're done
- Build the evals that tell us whether a new model or prompt actually helped, fast enough that people use them

A strong and reliable platform is essential to scaling Sentry for the future. Our Platform organization is responsible for everything that powers Sentry, from cloud infrastructure and streaming systems to storage, deployment, and security. We own the core services and technical foundations that enable every product and engineering team at Sentry to move fast and build with confidence.
We’re looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to set technical direction across Sentry’s Platform organization and lead engineering work spanning infrastructure, streaming, and storage.
Reporting directly to the VP of Platform Engineering, you’ll partner with engineering and product leaders to identify where our platform needs to evolve, make architectural decisions across team boundaries, and lead those changes through production delivery. You’ll stay hands-on through system design, prototyping, and code while helping senior and staff engineers lead work across teams.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Set technical direction for platform initiatives spanning multiple teams, connecting architectural decisions to product needs and business priorities.
- Identify and lead changes addressing system bottlenecks, reliability risks, and architectural constraints.
- Own cross-team initiatives from problem definition and design through implementation, rollout, and evaluation.
- Make tradeoffs across reliability, performance, cost, operational complexity, and delivery speed.
- Stay hands-on where your contribution matters most, writing code, building prototypes, and helping teams resolve difficult implementation problems.
- Partner with engineering and product leaders to prioritize platform investments and sequence work across teams.
- Guide major architectural decisions and help teams resolve disagreements with clear reasoning and evidence.
- Mentor senior and staff engineers, strengthening their technical judgment and ability to lead across team boundaries.
HOW YOU WORK
- You bring structure to ambiguous problems and help teams agree on what to solve first.
- You pair architectural judgment with hands-on engineering and ownership through delivery.
- You build alignment across teams, challenge assumptions, and make decisions when priorities compete.
- You favor simple, maintainable designs and understand when added complexity is necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience setting technical direction across multiple engineering teams, aligning engineering and product leaders on architectural decisions, priorities, and tradeoffs.
- Track record of leading complex, cross-team initiatives from problem definition through production delivery, with measurable improvements in reliability, scalability, performance, or engineering productivity.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial hands-on experience architecting, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Deep experience designing and operating production systems in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP, with ownership of architectural decisions and their operational outcomes.
- Strong hands-on software engineering skills, including writing production code and building prototypes to validate architectural approaches.
- Deep expertise in one or more of the following areas, with working knowledge across others:
- Cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code, such as Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Event streaming and real-time processing systems, such as Kafka, Flink, or Beam.
- Distributed storage and data systems, including OLAP/OLTP databases, blob storage, and caching.
- Ability to explain complex technical tradeoffs, build alignment across teams and senior leadership, and resolve architectural disagreements.
- Experience mentoring senior and staff engineers, strengthening their architectural judgment, and developing technical leadership across teams.
The base salary range Sentry reasonably expects to pay for this position is $260,000 to $400,000, plus an annual performance bonus of up to 20% of base salary. A successful candidate’s actual base salary (or hourly wage) amount will be determined by a variety of relevant factors including, without limitation, the candidate’s work location, education, work and other relevant experience, skills, and job-related knowledge. A successful candidate will be eligible to participate in Sentry’s employee benefit plans/programs applicable to the candidate’s position (including incentive compensation, equity grants, paid time off, and group health insurance coverage).
