Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands
About the Role
The company is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Back Office & Integration squad. This is a dedicated people-management and hands-on technical leadership role — it is not a Tech Lead or Senior Software Engineer position. You will have direct line-management responsibility for a team of 4 to 8 engineers, taking full ownership of their performance, professional growth, and delivery.
The company develops a fast-growing travel management platform tailored specifically for the maritime, aviation, and energy sectors. Headquartered in Rotterdam with a team of ~200 people, the company builds mission-critical software that keeps complex global industries moving.
In this role, you will balance approximately 60% people management and delivery with 40% hands-on technical work, tackling complex architectural tasks and conducting code reviews.
Key Responsibilities & People Management
Line Management. Directly manage a team of 4–8 intermediate to senior engineers (7+ years of experience).
Performance & Growth. Conduct regular 1-on-1s, lead performance reviews, and foster career development within your team.
Hiring & Firing. Hold active input and decision-making responsibility for recruitment, team expansion, and offboarding.
Accountability. Take full ownership of your team's delivery and culture, standing by your team when challenges or mistakes arise.
Technical Contribution (~40%). Solve complex engineering problems, lead code reviews, and drive architecture decisions using modern .NET technologies.
Requirements
Must-haves
Recent People Management Experience. Active experience in a direct line-manager role within the last 3 years.
(Note: Mentorship, code reviews, or acting as a Tech Lead without direct people management do not qualify)
.
Proven experience managing mid-to-senior engineers (7+ years of domain experience).
Strong, active commercial experience with C#, .NET, PostgreSQL, and SQL within the last 5 years.
Ability to work remotely initially with a mandatory agreement to relocate to the Netherlands after 4 to 6 months (Full visa sponsorship and relocation support provided), willingness to start on a fixed-term contract during the initial trial period.
Technical Evaluation & AI Expectations
During the technical selection process, candidate AI usage will be evaluated. While AI is welcomed as a productivity tool, using AI merely as a basic search engine/shortcut for fundamental engineering problems is considered a reject signal.
Self-Rejection Criteria (Please do not apply if):
You are primarily looking for an Individual Contributor (IC), Tech Lead, or purely advisory role without direct line management responsibilities.
You are looking for a permanent contract from Day 1 without an initial fixed-term/trial period.
You are unwilling or unable to relocate to the Netherlands within 4 to 6 months.
You have not actively used C# / .NET as your primary tech stack within the last 5 years.

Seek Excellence.
Be Selective To Be Effective.
Be Highly Aligned, Loosely Coupled.
Disagree Transparently.
Encourage Independent Decision-Making.
Build Dream Teams.
Who You Are:
The Member of Technical Staff, Forward Deployed Lead is the de facto CEO of their pod within Galaxy Edge — a small, senior team focused on one client engagement or one innovation bet. In this role, you will own product direction, technical standards, client relationships, and account growth, working alongside a dedicated Delivery Lead who handles timelines and execution. You will rotate between our two verticals — Forward Deployed Product & Engineering and R&D & Innovation — carrying hard-won market and technical context across the boundary. You will partner closely with Tier-1 financial institution stakeholders from engineers to C-suite executives, translating their needs in custody, settlement, tokenization, and trading into buildable roadmaps. This is a deliberately hybrid role requiring a hands-on startup CTO mindset combined with the commercial instinct to grow accounts and turn delivered trust into the next engagement.
What You’ll Do:
Own product and technical direction: translate institutional needs — custody, settlement, tokenization, trading, and regulatory context — into a buildable roadmap; set the technical bar, make hard design calls, and stay in the code when it matters
Drive commercial and account growth: run your account like a business, identify expansion opportunities, advise senior client stakeholders (CTO, COO, Head of Digital Assets), and convert delivered trust into the next engagement
Lead client and executive relationships: run discovery from engineers to the C-suite, define success in their terms (adoption, risk, cost, time-to-value), and navigate complex regulated organizations to alignment
Rotate into R&D and Innovation: lead 0-to-1 product creation on frontier blockchain and AI, and codify learnings into reusable components and playbooks that feed back into client delivery
Serve as the voice of the customer back into Galaxy’s product organization, translating delivered insights into what the firm builds next
Embrace and champion the thoughtful adoption of AI to improve team performance and business outcomes.
Leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, data copilots) to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality in your day-to-day work.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven track record of owning outcomes end to end in ambiguous, high-stakes settings
Real technical depth — you’ve shipped production software and can lead engineers credibly
Commercial instinct — you’ve turned delivered work into expanded scope or revenue
Executive presence — fluent from a whiteboard to a C-suite briefing
Founder-grade agency and low ego — you find a path when none is obvious and care about the outcome, not the credit
Typically 6+ years across forward-deployed/solutions engineering, technical PM, and client-facing delivery; shape of ownership matters more than years
Willingness to travel approximately 25–40% of the time
Bonus Points:
Experience in digital assets or blockchain infrastructure
Prior delivery experience into Tier-1 financial institutions
Hands-on production LLM or AI agent experience
Technical founder or quota-carrying solutions architect background
Fluency in custody, settlement, payments rails, tokenization, or trading systems
What We Offer:
Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus
Hybrid/Flexible Working Arrangements
Flexible Time Off (paid)
3% 401(k) company contribution
Company-paid health and protective benefits for employees, partners, and other dependents
Generous paid Parental Leave
Competitive family planning benefits for US employees
Opportunities to learn about the Crypto industry
Smart, entrepreneurial, and fun colleagues
Free daily snacks and weekly breakfasts/lunches
Employee Resource Groups
Free coaching and counseling sessions through Headspace
Apply now and join us as we grow the economy that runs on code.
The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.
Base Salary Range
$215,000
—
$285,000 USD

We will endeavor to make a reasonable accommodation to the known limitations of a qualified applicant with a disability unless the accommodation would impose an undue hardship on the operation of our business. ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp's first post-sales hire in Europe doesn't just activate customers, they set the standard for what post-sales excellence looks like in a brand new market. This is a role for people who have been inside organizations when change was hard, who speak the language of a CFO, and who can move a customer from onboarding to true business value without losing the commercial thread. You'll own a book of customers end-to-end: responsible for driving genuine activation and adoption, and for finding and closing the expansion opportunities that follow when customers are actually getting value. There is no handoff here. Onboarding and growth live in the same seat. As one of the first people on the ground in London, you'll have real accountability from day one, and the work you do will directly shape how Ramp builds its post-sales motion across Europe. If you're someone who uses AI the way high performers use any sharp tool (as a default, not an experiment), who is energized by building from scratch, and who wants to own outcomes rather than just execute a playbook, this is the role.
What You'll Do
- Lead customers through the full transformation journey, from implementation through agentic workflow adoption.
- Own the revenue target for your book of business.
- Build and own the change management strategy for each account: map stakeholders, diagnose resistance, build internal coalitions, and drive adoption past the finish line.
- Quantify and communicate Ramp's impact in the language CFOs and Controllers care about
- Help customers understand and adopt Ramp's agentic finance capabilities, positioning new workflows not as features, but as fundamental changes to how their finance team operates.
- Maintain tight feedback loops with Design & Engineering, ensuring market signals from customers land where they can drive product decisions.
- Support the GM on the highest-priority strategic initiatives of the moment; competitive landscape, ICP refinement, new segment exploration, and more.
What You Need
- Right to work in the UK is required. Willingness to travel frequently across the UK and Europe.
- Founder-mode mentality with proof to back it up. You own outcomes, not deliverables and you have a track record of building, selling, or figuring something out on your own. You make fast decisions with incomplete data and don't wait for a playbook that doesn't exist yet.
- AI fluency as a daily habit. Ramp is a builder culture: if you don't instinctively reach for AI before doing things manually, this role will be a hard adjustment.
- Deep product expertise that translates into prescriptive recommendations. You know Ramp's full range of products, integrations, and configuration options inside out and you use that knowledge to anticipate customer needs and position solutions before they ask.
- Technical acumen to hold your own with Product and Engineering on integrations, APIs, and workflow architecture.
- Commercial instinct. You proactively identify expansion opportunities and know how to turn customer success into revenue growth.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- High frustration tolerance and resilience. Building from scratch means things will break constantly.
Nice to Haves
- Fluency in additional European languages
- Experience in a high-growth startup, consulting, VC, IB/PE, or other analytically intensive environments
- Exposure to fintech, SaaS, or B2B sales cycles
- Track record of entrepreneurial activity: founding a company, running a meaningful side project, or building something from zero
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend
UNITED STATES
- 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents
- One Medical annual membership
- 401(k), including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp
- Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year)
- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay
- Pet insurance
- In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more
- Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF (if needed)
CANADA
- Group medical, dental, and vision coverage through Sun Life
- Life, AD&D, and disability coverage
- Fertility drug coverage (up to $4,000 lifetime)
- Group Retirement Plan with employer match (RRSP + DPSP)
- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay, with additional time available at reduced pay
- Employee Assistance Program and virtual care through Lumino Health
UNITED KINGDOM
- Private medical insurance through Freedom Elite
- Virtual GP and at-home care via eMed x Livi
- Workplace pension through Penfold, with salary sacrifice option
- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay with additional time available at reduced pay

About the Opportunity
Xsolla is seeking a
Head of Investor Capital and Relations
to lead its capital formation and investor relations agenda from New York. This senior, high-visibility mandate brings together two disciplines that are often treated separately: raising and structuring capital, and stewarding the relationships and narrative that sustain long-term investor confidence. The successful candidate will own the institutional capital relationships that support Xsolla’s strategic vehicles and initiatives and serve as a principal point of contact between the company and the global investment community.
The role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships and works in close partnership with the Chief Executive, Chief Legal Officer, finance leadership, and the founders. It is designed for an investor who understands capital from the inside: someone who has sat across the table from sponsors, sovereign funds, and institutional allocators, and who can translate Xsolla’s strategy into a compelling, credible investment thesis.
The Head of Investor Capital and Relations will be based in New York and will report to Rytis Joseph Jan, Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships. The role requires significant global travel, including regular engagement across the Gulf, Asia, and major financial centers, to build and maintain the relationships at the heart of the mandate.
Expressions of Interest
Xsolla welcomes confidential conversations with qualified candidates and trusted introductions. Please direct expressions of interest, together with a resume and a short note on relevant experience, to the Xsolla Talent Acquisition team via the application button linked below.
Role Overview
As Head of Investor Capital and Relations, you will be responsible for the full arc of capital engagement, from sourcing and cultivating investors, to structuring and executing capital raises, to maintaining disciplined, compliant, and trusted relationships once capital is committed. Your remit will span private capital formation, sovereign and strategic institutional relationships, and the investor relations function associated with Xsolla's publicly listed activities.
You will build the investor relations capability that a company operating in and around the public markets requires, including the disclosure discipline, messaging consistency, and relationship infrastructure that institutional investors expect. You will also act as a senior commercial partner to the deal teams, helping to shape the capital structure, investor syndicate, and positioning of strategic transactions.
This is a builder's role. You will establish the processes, materials, and team that allow Xsolla to engage the capital markets with the professionalism of a far larger institution, while retaining the speed and ambition of a company in a high growth sector.
Key Responsibilities
Capital Formation and Fundraising
Lead capital raises.
Design and execute capital raises across the firm's strategic vehicles and initiatives, spanning equity, structured, and credit instruments.

Create the core fundraising materials, including the equity story, investor presentations, data rooms, and the supporting financial narrative, in partnership with finance and legal.
Structure terms.
Shape terms and commitments in coordination with deal leadership, balancing the interests of the firm, its founders, and incoming investors.
Read the market.
Maintain a current and accurate view of market conditions, investor appetite, and comparable transactions to inform timing and structure.
Sovereign Wealth and Strategic Institutional Capital
Gulf sovereign wealth funds alone manage on the order of 5 trillion dollars in assets and have become active, thematic investors in technology and platform businesses, with leading funds such as QIA, PIF, ADIA, Mubadala, and ADQ frequently writing large strategic commitments. Cultivating and stewarding these relationships is central to this role.
Originate relationships.
Build and steward relationships with sovereign wealth funds, strategic corporates, family offices, and large institutional allocators, with particular emphasis on the Gulf, Asia, and North America.
Map the counterparties.
Understand the priorities, mandates, and decision processes of target institutions, and align Xsolla's opportunities to the right counterparties and ticket sizes.

Serve as a trusted, senior relationship owner who can engage principals and investment committees with credibility and discretion.
Coordinate coverage.
Align coverage strategy with banking partners and advisors to maximize reach into the institutions that matter most.

Build the IR function.
Establish and run the investor relations function for Xsolla's publicly listed activities, including Xsolla SPAC 1, in line with the standards expected of a public company.
Manage public investors.
Manage relationships with public market investors, sell side and buy side analysts, and prospective shareholders, and serve as a primary point of contact for inbound investor inquiries.

Set the framework.
Establish and maintain a disciplined disclosure and communications framework, including policies, calendars, and approval workflows.
Prepare materials.
Prepare board level and investor level materials, and contribute to the narrative that the company presents to the market.
Ensure compliance.
Ensure that all investor facing communications are accurate, consistent, and compliant, and that material information is handled appropriately.
Leadership and Cross-Functional Partnership
Build the team.
Recruit, mentor, and lead the investor relations and capital markets team over time.
Work across the firm.
Partner seamlessly across finance, legal, strategy, communications, and the founders to deliver a unified message to the market.
Represent Xsolla.
Represent the company with poise and authority at investor meetings, industry forums, and capital markets events around the world.
Candidate Profile

Twelve to fifteen years or more of progressive experience across investment banking, private equity, sovereign wealth or institutional investing, capital markets, or senior investor relations, ideally spanning more than one of these.
A demonstrable track record of raising or deploying institutional capital and of closing complex transactions.
Direct experience engaging sovereign wealth funds, strategic investors, or large institutional allocators at a senior level.
Exposure to public company investor relations, the listing process, or a business combination is strongly preferred.

At Linear, we're building the product development system for teams and agents. AI is fundamentally changing how software gets built, and we’re shaping the tools this new era requires.
Founded in 2019, Linear has become the platform of choice for more than 40,000 companies (including OpenAI, Coinbase, and Ramp) to plan, build, and ship their products. Today, our team is distributed across North America, Europe, and Australia, and we’re continuing to grow internationally. What unites us is relentless focus, fast execution, and a deep care for software craftsmanship.
As a small team, we're all generalists that work across the full stack (built in TypeScript end-to-end). We’re looking for engineers that thrive in an environment of autonomy and individual responsibility to help us build the future of product development.
Location & work mode
Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America. You can work from anywhere within this region. We value deep focus and async collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel.
What you'll do
- Work closely with founders, product, and design to implement new concepts and ideas
- Build AI-powered functionality into the core of Linear
- Update our collaborative content editor used across all internal surfaces
- Build new user-facing features with beautiful and scalable UI components
- Obsessively improve application performance
- Refine our software development processes to keep the team operating at high velocity
What we're looking for
- 2-5 years of experience building customer-facing products at a software company with a high engineering bar
- Strong React and TypeScript fundamentals, with experience across the full stack (Browser technologies, Node, GraphQL, PostgreSQL)
- Track record of driving complex, end-to-end features (not just incremental improvements and refactors) with visible impact on the product
- Product sensibility: you care about UX, speed, and polish, and you push back when something doesn't feel right
- Comfortable working without heavy PM overhead; you can help to shape the problem, not just implement a solution
- High ownership mentality: self-directed, full-lifecycle builder who takes a feature from idea to shipped
- Thrives in a remote, async-first environment with a lean, high-output team
- Experience at a startup or a company with a genuinely high engineering bar
Our tech
This stack reflects the systems we build and operate. You’re not expected to have experience with everything listed, but you should be excited to work close to product, performance, and real-world scale.
- Agentic workflow system utilizing temporal, operating at production scale
- Proprietary websocket data sync engine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnOpm3a1fRE built for speed and offline support
- React, MobX, StyleX on the frontend
- Extensive, highly-trafficked GraphQL API and SDK
- Node, PostgreSQL, Temporal, and Redis on the backend
- Hosted on Google Cloud with k8s

What we offer
We're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with. Here's what you can expect:
- Competitive salary and equity
- Employee-friendly equity terms including early exercise in the US and extended exercise windows
- Daily meal and coffee stipend on every workday

Design at Ramp looks very different than it did a year ago: we’re building tools and agents, designing memory, shipping PRs, and rethinking the process every few months as new capabilities unlock. A few things have not changed, the role of design is to distill problems to their essence, obsess over craft and delight where it matters most, know customers deeply and advocate for them, lead with creativity and storytelling, and keep it fun, because a product built with joy always wins.
We're looking for a Director of Product Design to lead a team of builders across some of our highest-priority bets. This role is for you if you’re excited by:
- Leading through craft, setting vision and unlocking customer impact: you will define where a product should go, then jump into the details with the team to unblock, teach, and ship. You raise the bar through product judgment, design craft, and your ability to make everyone around you better.
- Actually shipping and demonstrating real impact: You'll start by owning a product area and team to build trust and get your bearings at Ramp, with room to take on broader leadership over time. You'll stay close to customers and ship meaningful work alongside your designers, product managers and engineers.
- Building the environment where great work comes from: clear roles, high standards, low ego, and just enough structure to keep the bar high without slowing people down. That means building a caring yet demanding structure, investing deeply in people — coaching, feedback, growth — so designers can do the best work of their careers and develop in this new age of Design.
It’s never been a more interesting time to build.
Please note that this role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at our NYC HQ (located near Madison Square Park) at least 3 days/week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead and grow a high-performing team of product designers
- Own product vision and design direction across critical product areas
- Partner with product and engineering to shape strategy and deliver customer impact
- Stay close to customers and use their feedback to guide product decisions
- Jump into the work when needed to unblock teams and accelerate progress
- Create clarity, raise quality, and help teams ship faster
- Raise the bar for product thinking, interaction design, systems thinking, and craft
- Coach designers through clear feedback, high standards, and strong mentorship
- Help define how design works in an AI-native world
- Build strong partnerships across product, engineering, data, and design
WHAT YOU NEED
- Experience leading and developing high-performing product design teams
- Strong product judgment, design craft, and systems thinking
- Track record of shipping products with meaningful customer and business impact

- Curiosity that borders obsession over how AI changes the nature software and how we work
