WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Why this role?
In this role, you will have ownership of the full sales cycle - from identifying leads to closing deals with Global 2000 across Sweden, Denmark and Norway in telecommunications, financial services, industrial manufacturing, energy and utilities, and healthcare and life sciences. Sovereignty and control over where data and models reside are growing priorities across these sectors, and Cohere is well positioned to meet that need with private, on-premise and in-country deployment built for enterprise scale. We’re looking for an approachable and compelling communicator who loves working with prospects to uncover their needs and feels comfortable developing tailored value propositions around how Cohere’s platform can help them achieve their business goals. You’ll lay the foundation for Cohere’s growth by owning your territory and collaborating with teammates across customer success, sales development, marketing, and solution architecture.
As a Senior Account Executive, you will:
- Drive net-new customer acquisition across Sweden, Denmark and Norway via targeted outbound activity, executive introductions, and relationship building with key stakeholders
- Own the full sales cycle – from initial outreach, technical and business validation, through deal close
- Support coverage of adjacent Nordic accounts as territory priorities require
- Generate and own your own pipeline through disciplined outbound, research and executive prospecting
- Be a trusted advisor to customer prospects, deeply understand their challenges & goals, and tailor solutions to drive impact for their businesses
- Leverage senior-level relationships with executives to drive strategic partnerships and sales opportunities
- Align closely with our partners and systems integrators to drive shared revenue and extend reach into target accounts
- Work cross-functionally across the business, drawing in the right technical and specialist colleagues as each engagement requires
- Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives and Marketing to supplement your own top of funnel activity
You may be a good fit if you have:
- Fluent in at least one Nordic language – Swedish, Norwegian or Danish – in addition to English; additional Nordic languages are a strong advantage
- 10+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience with Global 2000 and large enterprise customers along with experience negotiating & closing transformational 7-figure deals
- Depth in at least two of our priority sectors: financial services, telecommunications, energy and utilities, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences
- A hunter mentality - you take pride in generating your own pipeline and are at your best when building a territory rather than managing an inherited one
- A proven track record of high performance and exceeding quotas
- Experience building and maintaining senior-level relationships with executives
- Experience working alongside channel partners and systems integrators to drive sales cycles and hit shared revenue goals
- Excellent communication skills - you are a great listener, have a knack for understanding what matters most to others & building strong relationships, experienced presenting to a C-suite audience, and feel comfortable speaking to both technical and non-technical customer prospects
Additional Requirements:
- Experience selling complex enterprise level solutions, technical products, and private or on-premise deployments (AI/NLP solutions preferred)
- Familiarity with European data residency, sovereignty and regulatory requirements as live buying criteria
- High tolerance for ambiguity - this is an early-stage territory without an established local playbook, and you'll need to be both a doer and a strategist
- Creativity - deal structures can widely vary, strong technical acumen and the ability to creatively structure mutually beneficial partnerships are necessary
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS:
- A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch.
- Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health.
- RRSP matching, 401K, Pension Scheme.
- 100% Parental Leave top-up for up to 6 months, for either parent.
- Annual enrichment benefits:
Arts & culture, fitness/wellness, quality time, and a workspace improvement credit.
Education & learning stipend for conferences, courses, and coaching.
- 6 weeks of paid vacation (30 working days!)
- Budget for traveling to other offices if you are remote, plus an annual company offsite.
HOW AND WHERE WE WORK:
- Cohere is remote-friendly, but we also have offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul with more opening soon.
- For those in the office: a daily lunch program, plenty of snacks, and regular community and social events.
- For those not near an office: a co-working benefit so you can work alongside others in your city.
- Everyone receives a $500 home office stipend to set up your workspace properly.
If any of the above doesn’t line up exactly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply.
We strive to create an inclusive work environment for all; we welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities. Should you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, please submit an Accommodations Request Form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/12a6IrLdF3kI2nonKSr4tiFuz18rLQbaeYV-JM9L4o9Q/edit, and we will work together to meet your needs.

We are looking for a Video & Streaming Engineer to join a greenfield digital news platform build for a major international news brand. Video is not a feature here — it is the product. The platform is built around an always-on livestream, automated broadcast clip ingestion, and a player architecture that needs to perform reliably under the extreme traffic conditions of breaking-news events.
You'll own the video and streaming layer end-to-end: platform integration, adaptive playback, livestream workflows, newsroom clipping tools, advertising, analytics, and resilience testing ahead of launch.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own video, livestream, and player technical implementation across the platform.
- Integrate the selected video platform and player with the broader content and delivery architecture.
- Implement adaptive bitrate streaming and device-aware playback across web and mobile environments.
- Support livestream and breaking-news streaming workflows — including failover and resilience requirements.
- Implement clipping and newsroom video-processing capabilities for broadcast clip ingestion and editorial use.
- Integrate captions, subtitles, thumbnails, and poster frames.
- Support rights management, availability-window controls, and geoblocking requirements.
- Integrate video advertising and analytics capabilities.
- Implement playback telemetry, error handling, and fallback logic.
- Support load testing, resilience validation, and major-event readiness testing ahead of launch.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on experience integrating and configuring enterprise video platforms — Brightcove, JW Player, Mux, THEOplayer, or similar.
- Strong understanding of adaptive bitrate streaming — HLS, DASH — and device-aware playback implementation.
- Experience implementing livestream workflows in a production environment.
- Familiarity with video processing concepts — clipping, transcoding, thumbnail generation, caption and subtitle integration.
- Experience integrating video advertising — VAST, VPAID, or similar — and video analytics.
- Ability to implement playback telemetry, error detection, and fallback handling.
- Experience supporting performance and resilience testing for high-traffic video delivery scenarios.
- Strong collaboration skills — able to work across CMS, frontend, and infrastructure teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience delivering video infrastructure for news, media, or broadcast organizations.
- Familiarity with rights management, availability windows, and geoblocking implementation.
- Experience with CDN configuration for video delivery at scale.
- Background working on platforms designed for major-event traffic spikes.
- Familiarity with DRM implementation — Widevine, FairPlay, PlayReady.
- Experience with poster frame, chapter marker, and structured metadata workflows for editorial video.
When you join Solvd, you'll…
- Shape real-world AI-driven projects across key industries, working with clients from startup innovation to enterprise transformation.
- Be part of a global team with equal opportunities for collaboration across continents and cultures.
- Thrive in an inclusive environment that prioritizes continuous learning, innovation, and ethical AI standards.
Ready to make an impact?
If you're excited to build things that matter, champion responsible AI, and grow with some of the industry’s sharpest minds. Apply today and let’s innovate together.

The engineering team at Chainalysis is inspired by solving the hardest technical challenges and building products that establish trust in cryptocurrencies. We're a global organization that thrives on challenging work and doing it alongside exceptionally talented teammates. Our industry evolves rapidly, and our mission is to build a flexible, AI-driven platform that automates entity resolution, optimizes data labeling pipelines, and creates predictive models that identify illicit patterns before they escalate.
Compliance Core builds and operates the platform that customers rely on to evaluate blockchain risk in real time and continuously monitor activity across billions of transfers. Our systems screen transfers and withdrawals, reassess exposure as new information arrives, aggregate risk at the user and organization level, and power datasets used by other teams and customers.
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the team and shape the next generation of this platform. You’ll help decide what to evolve, rebuild, or retire, and sequence those changes while keeping our systems reliable for every customer. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with responsibility for the team’s growth, delivery, and operational health.
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead the platform’s modernization. Set technical direction with the team, make architectural trade-offs, and turn complex changes into incremental migrations with clear milestones and safe rollouts.
- Stay hands-on. Review code, write and challenge design documents, contribute prototypes or targeted fixes, and work directly with engineers to resolve difficult technical problems and production incidents.
- Build and develop the team. Hire exceptional engineers, set clear expectations, provide candid feedback, manage performance, and support career growth. Create an environment where people can challenge ideas, take ownership, and do their best work.
- Own delivery with your partners. Work with Product and upstream teams to turn customer needs and industry changes into an executable roadmap. Make priorities, dependencies, and trade-offs explicit, and follow through on commitments.
- Make production operations sustainable. Set standards for reliability, latency, throughput, and data correctness. Improve observability, testing, incident response, and on-call practices so the platform can scale
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Experience building and operating high-throughput, event-driven distributed systems
- Strong hands-on engineering judgment. You can work through implementation details, identify the real constraints in a design, and help the team make sound architectural decisions.
- Experience managing engineers, including coaching, performance management, and career development, with evidence of improving both team effectiveness and engineering quality.
- A track record of delivering complex technical initiatives across teams, breaking ambiguous problems into manageable steps, and balancing immediate customer needs with longer-term platform investment.
- A collaborative leadership style: you welcome challenges, explain your decisions, and help engineers develop the judgment and ownership to lead work themselves.
- Interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies, or eagerness to learn.
Nice to have:
- Experience modernizing or migrating critical production systems while maintaining service continuity.
- Familiarity with JVM services in production.
- Experience operating customer-facing systems with strict latency and availability requirements.
- Background in compliance, payments, fraud, or another regulated domain.
- Blockchain protocol knowledge.
AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. As the world's most trusted blockchain analytics platform, Chainalysis sits at a rare intersection of proprietary data, regulatory relationships and crypto expertise that makes it uniquely placed to shape and lead the next era of AI-driven intelligence - and we expect everyone here, regardless of role, to be an active part of it.
AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.
About Chainalysis
Chainalysis is the blockchain data platform, making it easy to connect the movement of digital assets to real-world services. Powered by deep blockchain data and AI, organizations can investigate illicit activity, manage risk exposure, and develop innovative market solutions built on the industry's most trusted blockchain intelligence. Our mission is to build trust in blockchains, blending safety and security with an unwavering commitment to growth and innovation.
You belong here.
At Chainalysis, we believe that diversity of experience and thought makes us stronger. With both customers and employees around the world, we are committed to ensuring our team reflects the unique communities around us. We’re ensuring we keep learning by committing to continually revisit and reevaluate our diversity culture.

This role will provide dedicated project management support to Localization Program Manager and, over time, independently manage a defined set of localization projects from intake through delivery. Text translation, graphic localization, voice-over localization, and LQA will be performed by an external localization vendor; this role is responsible for managing that vendor rather than executing the localization work directly.
The ideal contractor has hands-on localization project management experience, strong communication and tracking skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple localization workflows across games, marketing assets, vendors, linguists, and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Manage the external localization vendor responsible for text translation, graphic localization, voice-over localization, and LQA, including tracking progress, coordinating handoffs, maintaining schedules, and following up on open items.
Assist Localization Program Manager with localization project planning, execution, and status reporting.
Gradually take ownership of approximately 10 to 20 localization projects end-to-end under Nex’s localization structure and process.
Manage localization requests from teams across Nex—including Marketing, Packaging, PlayOS, and other functions—including intake, prioritization, scheduling, stakeholder communication, handoffs, and delivery tracking.
Maintain clear and up-to-date project documentation in Notion and other agreed systems.
Track project schedules, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and outstanding action items.
Serve as the primary operational contact between internal teams and the external localization vendor, coordinating requirements, deliverables, reviews, feedback, and issue resolution.
Work closely with the vendor to improve localization quality by setting quality expectations, reviewing feedback and LQA findings, identifying recurring issues, and driving corrective actions and process improvements.
Prepare weekly status reports summarizing progress, risks, blockers, and next steps.
Maintain a localization request log and timesheet for approved hours.
Escalate timeline, quality, scope, or dependency risks in a timely manner.
Deliverables
Weekly localization status report
Project schedule tracking
Risk and blocker list
Cross-functional localization request log
Approved timesheet
Other project tracking documents as reasonably requested
What You Bring
Experience managing localization projects, ideally for games, entertainment, software, or digital products.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with localization workflows, including text translation, graphic localization, voice-over localization, review, LQA, handoffs, and delivery management.
Experience managing localization vendors, including schedules, deliverables, quality expectations, feedback, and escalations.
Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
Comfortable using Notion, Slack, spreadsheets, and localization platforms or project management tools.
Detail-oriented approach to schedules, deliverables, file tracking, and stakeholder follow-up.
Fluency in English plus German, French, Spanish, or Italian is preferred.
Candidates should be based in Germany, France, Spain, or Italy and be familiar with European localization workflows and market requirements.
Reporting / Point of contact
This role will report to and coordinate primarily with Localization Program Manager, who will provide overall localization direction, priorities, and process guidance. The hiring manager will be based in Japan.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Notion is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer focused on migrations to join our growing team in India. You will help deliver complex, production-grade data migrations, integrations, and automations for customers across APAC.
This is initially an internally focused, hands-on engineering role. You will partner closely with regional Forward Deployed Engineers, who own customer discovery, solution architecture, stakeholder communication, risk management, and final customer validation. You will own the behind-the-scenes technical execution layer from feasibility assessment and implementation through testing, production rollout, QA, reconciliation, reporting, and operational handoff.
You will work across multiple customer environments and source systems, often with incomplete requirements, imperfect data, and real-world constraints. Success requires strong engineering fundamentals, sound judgment, careful validation, and the ability to turn one-off delivery work into reusable tools and repeatable playbooks.
As a founding engineer in India, you will help build a new regional engineering capability from the ground up. You will create migration infrastructure, standards, and reusable tooling used by FDEs across APAC, while establishing practices that can scale globally. The role offers an opportunity to become a technical authority for production migration delivery, shaping how Notion approaches reliability, validation, and operational quality across complex customer environments. As the team grows, the role may also expand toward customer-facing FDE work, technical leadership, or a deeper engineering path, depending on business needs and demonstrated capability.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Own the technical execution layer after customer requirements, scope, and solution architecture have been established with the regional FDE. Contribute to feasibility assessment, estimation, implementation planning, and risk identification while the regional FDE remains accountable for customer discovery, scope, architecture, stakeholder communication, and final acceptance.
- Apply a repeatable migration lifecycle covering source inventory and sampling, scope and pruning decisions, compatibility and degradation assessment, transformation design, pilot or dry run, user acceptance testing, production cutover, reconciliation, remediation, hypercare, and documented handoff.
- Translate approved customer and regional FDE requirements into clear technical designs, implementation plans, test strategies, runbooks, and delivery estimates.
- Build production-quality migration utilities, backend services, data pipelines, integrations, and automations using Python, SQL, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Investigate source-system behavior, data quality issues, permissions, rate limits, authentication constraints, and edge cases, then recommend practical solutions.
- Design and validate permissions, ownership, and inheritance mappings against the approved migration plan. Make unsupported or ambiguous access requirements explicit, obtain the required decision or approval, and preserve evidence of validation.
- Design migrations for reliability, scale, security, observability, idempotency, failure recovery, and safe reruns.
- Execute migrations only through approved environments, devices, accounts, and tooling. Follow least-privilege access, customer-specific security and data-residency requirements, and approved handling procedures. Do not store customer data in unmanaged local or external systems, and escalate privacy, security, or sovereignty concerns before execution.
- Build validation and reconciliation frameworks that provide clear evidence of migration completeness, accuracy, and exceptions.
- Debug failures across application code, infrastructure, customer data, third-party systems, and the Notion platform, then drive issues through resolution.
- Manage multiple implementation workstreams, dependencies, and priorities while communicating scope, progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly.
- Surface scope changes, unsupported requirements, timeline risks, and material effort increases early. Document assumptions and trade-offs, and escalate with options and a recommended path rather than silently absorbing additional work.
- Maintain an auditable record of scope, decisions, risks, approvals, validation evidence, and customer acceptance criteria in the agreed shared workspace or channel.
- Convert repeated delivery patterns into reusable components, automation, documentation, and playbooks that improve speed, quality, and cost over time.
- Bring field learnings back to Notion's Product and Engineering teams as actionable platform feedback and technical requirements.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in backend engineering, data engineering, integration engineering, implementation engineering, technical consulting, solutions engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Strong hands-on Python development experience.
- Working experience with Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and data transformation.
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, authentication, webhooks, and system integrations.
- Experience owning a production migration, integration, or technical implementation through mapping, transformation, testing, rollout, validation, and handoff.
- Experience taking a technical problem from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and production operation.
- Experience with Git, code review, automated testing, release practices, and production deployment.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills across code, data, infrastructure, and external systems.
- Evidence of working on production systems, not only prototypes or proof-of-concept projects.
- Clear written and verbal English communication, with the ability to explain technical decisions, constraints, and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High agency and ownership. You are comfortable making progress with incomplete information, challenging assumptions, and escalating with options and a recommendation.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, job orchestration, or infrastructure automation.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with message queues, event-driven systems, distributed-system patterns, retries, concurrency, and rate limits.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, or other observability tools.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS applications, professional services, or large-scale customer implementations.
- Experience migrating large volumes of content or structured data between enterprise platforms.
- Experience with AI or LLM applications, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation frameworks, or agentic workflows.
- Familiarity with MCP, tool calling, Notion Workers, Custom Agents, or similar extensibility platforms.
- Experience working with distributed global or APAC teams.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
In your first 90 days, you will:
- Learn Notion's migration and implementation ecosystem, engineering standards, and APAC delivery model.
- Establish a productive working rhythm with regional FDE partners.
- Contribute to at least one migration or integration workstream through production delivery.
- Leave behind clear technical documentation, validation evidence, and an operational runbook.
Within your first six months, you will:
- Independently own production migration or integration workstreams from technical design through rollout and handoff.
- Deliver measurable improvements in migration turnaround time, validation quality, delivery cost, or regional FDE execution hours through reusable engineering.
- Help establish repeatable quality controls, code review practices, runbooks, and observability patterns for the India team.
- Demonstrate effective prioritization and communication across multiple concurrent APAC engagements.
- Turn at least one repeated delivery pattern into a reusable tool, component, or playbook that is adopted by a subsequent engagement.

A NOTE ON AI

You’ll be expected to challenge us to improve our product(s), our methods and our strategy, and get involved in other projects and initiatives relevant to growing our customer base.

👋 A LITTLE ABOUT US
We’re building the best platform for authoring, publishing, and maintaining world-class docs. Close to 40,000 sign-ups per month, over 100k Monthly Active Users, used by 2M+ people and thousands of teams like Zoom, FedEx, Nvidia, Snyk, and Google. We’re profitable, backed by P9 Capital, Notion Capital, and Fly VC, and our amazing team is spread across 15 countries in North America, Europe, and Asia.
Our enterprise motion is growing, and the way we reach those buyers is changing. Docs are bought by engineering leaders, platform teams, and developer experience owners, people who don't answer cold emails but do show up at conferences, dinners, hackathons, and community meetups. Field marketing is how we get in front of them.
Today our event activity is opportunistic: a booth here, a sponsored dinner there, a webinar when someone has time. There's no tiering model, no consistent follow-up motion, and no reliable way to say which events created the (right) pipeline. This role owns all of it.
This is a new function at GitBook. You'd be the first person to own it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the global event calendar: Decide which industry tradeshows and conferences we show up at, at what level, and why and then run them end to end: sponsorship negotiation, booth, staffing, messaging, budget, and on-site execution.
- Build activation around the big moments: The booth is rarely where the deals happen. You'll design the side-events that surround a conference such as curated dinners, executive roundtables, breakfast briefings, happy hours, and build the guest lists around accounts we actually want in the room.
- Create GitBook's own events: Design and run owned formats that people want to attend because of what they are, not because we sponsored them. Roadshows, customer summits, docs-focused meetups, launch moments. You'll define the format, the content arc, and the experience.
- Experiment with community activation: Work with our DevRel colleagues on hackathons, docs sprints, and community events. Some will work and some won't; you'll run them as experiments with a clear read on what happened.
- Own online events: Webinars, virtual roundtables, and livestreams, you’ll be either running them yourself or coordinating the team members who do.
- Build the tiering model: Define what a Tier 1, 2, and 3 event looks like at GitBook: spend bands, staffing, pre- and post-event motion, and the bar an event has to clear to earn each tier.
- Report on pipeline, not attendance: Build the measurement model for events: cost per opportunity, event-sourced and event-influenced pipeline, target-account attendance, and conversion through to closed won.
- Make the sales follow-up motion work: Build a lightweight SLA for pre-event target lists with AEs, brief the team on what to do at the event, and build the follow-up structure that turns a badge scan into a conversation.
- Act as ABM sparring partner: Our enterprise motion runs on account-based plays. You'll be the person Sales and Marketing think out loud with on account selection, buying-committee mapping, and how field programs plug into 1:1 and 1:few plays
HOW WE'LL MEASURE SUCCESS
In your first 90 days: a tiered event calendar for the next four quarters, a working measurement model in our CRM, and a follow-up motion Sales has actually agreed to.
After that: event-sourced and event-influenced pipeline, cost per opportunity by tier, target-account penetration at Tier 1 events, and speed of follow-up.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 7–10 years in B2B SaaS marketing: you need to have a meaningful stretch of that in field marketing, event marketing, or integrated demand generation. You've run international programs, including and especially in the USA.
- A ROI mindset: You talk in opportunities and cost per opportunity, not impressions and badge scans. You've defended an event budget with numbers and you've killed events that didn't earn their place.
- Real operational range: You can negotiate a sponsorship contract, argue about booth carpet, write a good invite email, and build a Hubspot dashboard or report (or know who to ask to build it for you).
- Sales credibility: AEs will trust you or route around you. You can walk into a pipeline review, take a hard question about last quarter's spend, and answer it without getting defensive.
- Taste: Most B2B events are forgettable. We'd rather run fewer things that people remember. You should have opinions about what makes an event worth attending.
- Comfort with a technical audience: Our buyers are engineers and the people who lead them. You don't need to write code, but you need to know why developer-audience marketing fails when it's too polished.
- Ownership mindset: There's no playbook here. You'll write it: defining process, flagging problems early, and not waiting to be told what to build next.
Also, you might be coming from a field marketing role at a SaaS company that got heavier on events, an event marketing role where you started owning the pipeline number, a demand gen role with a large in-person component, or a community or DevRel role that grew a commercial edge. We care less about the label than about what you can actually do. Some travel is expected, roughly a week or two a quarter, with a potential for a week a month in the conference season peak.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
This isn't a role where you'll manage a team from day one, and it isn't purely strategic. You'll be on the floor at the show and in the spreadsheet the week after.
It's also not brand marketing or product marketing. You'll draw on both, and you'll partner closely with them, but you're accountable for the pipeline.
If you do this well, the function grows in scope, budget, and eventually headcount. But we're hiring for someone who wants to build it from scratch, not for the version of this role that exists in two years.
