Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager to own billing, contract review, and revenue recognition as Baseten scales. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role for someone who wants full ownership of the revenue cycle at a company where deal structures are getting more complex: usage-based pricing, committed capacity, credits, multi-year enterprise contracts, and new business models coming online.
You'll join Lauren, who built Baseten's quote-to-cash function from the ground up, to take on billing, contract review, and revenue recognition as deal volume and complexity grow. Having completed our first year-end audit, we're now focused on tightening contract review processes, close procedures, and reporting rigor to support the scale ahead. You'll partner closely with Lauren, FP&A, Sales, Legal, and Revenue Operations to make sure every deal is structured, billed, and recognized correctly from day one.
Baseten is building the infrastructure layer for AI-native companies, and we're scaling quickly - in deal volume, contract complexity, and customer size. If you want real ownership over a growing function on a lean team, this role offers real scope.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Recognition and Technical Accounting
- Own revenue recognition under ASC 606 across all contract types, including usage-based/consumption arrangements, committed capacity deals, credits, multi-year contracts, and new business models
- Serve as the go-to person on rev rec treatment for new deal structures, products, and pricing models
Billing Operations
- Own end-to-end billing: invoice generation, accuracy checks, and dispute resolution
- Identify and automate manual, error-prone steps in the billing-to-cash workflow
- Assist with strengthening our collections efforts and overall process
Contract Review and Deal Support
- Build and maintain a standardized contract review process for Sales and Legal, flagging non-standard terms that affect recognition before deals close
- Partner directly with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Legal as a proactive advisor on deal structuring
Sales and Indirect Tax
- Own the sales and indirect tax process, including reviewing and maintaining our tax automation tool (nexus tracking, exemption certificates, filings), and building the governance around it as we scale into new jurisdictions
Close and Reporting
- Own the revenue-related monthly close: deferred revenue rollforward, unbilled AR, credit memos, and revenue reserves
- Partner with FP&A to reconcile billed vs. recognized revenue and support ARR reporting and forecasting
- Own revenue-related audit deliverables, including technical memos and sample testing support
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years focused specifically on revenue accounting and recognition
- Deep working knowledge of ASC 606, including variable consideration, multiple performance obligations, and usage-based revenue models
- Hands-on experience reviewing and abstracting commercial contracts for accounting treatment
- Experience owning billing operations directly, not just reviewing output from a billing team
- Public company or audit-ready private company experience (Big 4 or industry, with audit exposure)
- Builder mentality with a bias toward execution; comfortable operating on a lean team relative to company scale
- Experience with NetSuite (or comparable ERP) and a modern billing platform
- Based in San Francisco or New York, with the ability to work in-person 3+ days per week
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience at a high-growth, venture-backed infrastructure or cloud company with usage-based or hybrid pricing
- Experience with committed-use/capacity contracts
- Experience overseeing sales and indirect tax compliance through an automated tax tool across multiple jurisdictions
- CPA
- Exposure to SOX controls in a revenue cycle context
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Staff Technical Program Manager for our Engineering Operations team to help us reach our goals and make our Engineering team the best it can be!
The mission for the Staff Program Manager, Engineering Operations, is to maintain and accelerate the highest level of execution excellence of Fivetran engineering. Our Engineering organization comprises several global functional groups that use a range of processes, systems, tools, and KPIs to jointly deliver best-in-class data pipelines and drive innovation.

You have worked closely with cross-functional teams with design, research, product, and engineering. Preferably, you work at a tech company and are heavily involved in engineering operations, with a deep understanding of how engineering processes work under the hood and how to take them to the next level.
We want you to bring your passion for problem-solving, experience in the tech world, and the drive to help us get to the next level, and have some fun along the way.
This is a full-time position based out of our Bengaluru office.
Technologies You’ll Use
Jira, Google Workspace, Notion, Claude Cowork/Code, Slack, Lucidchart, Looker, BigQuery, ChatGPT/codex
What You’ll Do
Ensure operations and strategy execution work seamlessly and effectively, and streamline engineering processes so they are simple, value-oriented, and scalable.
Oversee operations for your respective global group, with a particular focus on increasing efficiency, stability, and effectiveness in delivering their strategic objectives.
Act as a strategic partner for the global group leader regarding short and long-term vision, planning (quarterly and annual), and execution, as well as establishing and tracking engineering OKRs and KPIs. All this with consistent alignment with engineering-wide policies and practices.
Maintain the engineering process library and improve it in collaboration with process owners, other operations managers, the PMO, engineering leadership, and leadership of partnering departments such as Product, Analytics, and Design.
Lead and manage process and efficiency improvement programs aiming to set up or improve engineering and cross-departmental processes, from problem definition and data analysis through solution proposal, stakeholder alignment, and execution — resulting in documented, repeatable, and measurable processes.
Collaborate and openly debate with the team of operations managers to manage engineering initiatives, solve problems, discuss challenges, and learn more about critical issues as a group of Engineering Operations.
Work with Engineering teams to ensure adherence to operational processes, conduct process audits and check-ins, and discuss opportunities for improvement with senior engineers and engineering leadership, identifying opportunities to optimize and automate routine operations.
Provide leadership, improvement, and support of our internal knowledge management process and information structure in collaboration with PMO, technical enablement teams, and technical writers.
Support the coordination, preparation, and delivery of company-wide engineering updates and events.
Act as a role model and a champion for operational excellence, project management practices, risk management, and security practices.

A data-driven and action-oriented mindset with excellent planning, analytical, problem-solving, project/program management, organizational, and leadership skills.

You are recognized as a go-to expert in one or more engineering operations domains (e.g., System Design, Data Architecture, Infrastructure Management, including cost management, Quality) and use that expertise to drive innovation in how your global group approaches them - not just facilitate conversations, but shape and influence the technical direction of SDLC and process decisions.
Stays current on industry trends and business developments relevant to engineering operations, and applies that context to inform recommendations and decisions.
Ability to leverage AI to increase your own productivity and leverage it in the solutions you're building.
(Optional)Bonus Skills
Experience driving projects end-to-end, and shipping complex, large-scale software projects with global teams utilizing different SDLCs.

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Marketing Technology & Operations Lead who can own and harden the systems layer of Baseten's Marketing engine.
Marketing at Baseten is scaling fast — more spend, more campaigns, more model launches, more inbound. The systems underneath (Our ESP, CRMs, forms, tracking, routing, alerting) need an owner who treats them like production infrastructure that cannot go down. When something breaks, it costs us time, pipeline, and trust in the data. This role exists so it doesn't break.
You’ll simultaneously build for the future and re-think assumptions about our tech stack in the age of agents. This is an offensive play that gives the rest of the team leverage and superpowers to hit our ambitious goals. This is NOT an IT or service role. This is a core member of the marketing team who implements technology to achieve outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the marketing tech stack end-to-end: ad platforms, email systems, tracking, pixels, forms, connectors.
- Build defense-in-depth on inbound: spam/bot protection, rate limiting, email/domain validation, sync gating — and the alerting to catch anomalies before they hit sales or leadership dashboards.
- Enforce data integrity: UTM governance, campaign membership, lifecycle stages, lead scoring and routing logic, field-level hygiene, canonical metric definitions.
- Operationalize the web request pipeline with our dev agency: structured briefs, tickets, SLAs, and launch-day runbooks instead of ad-hoc Slack threads.
- Systematize the request intake for marketing ops work — triage, prioritize, automate the repeat offenders instead of hand-servicing them forever.
- Partner with RevOps, Data, and Sales to close workflow gaps where revenue data leaks (program tracking, Slack-only approvals, contact-vs-opportunity data).
- Build or implement custom solutions as the need arises be they net new capabilities or AI-powered workflows.
- Implement your vision for the marketing stack of the future, with a clear POV and roadmap on how to achieve it.
REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years in marketing operations at a B2B SaaS or developer-tooling company
- Deep, hands-on expertise in MAPs AND Salesforce — field mapping, sync governance, workflows, campaign objects; certifications a plus
- Has personally built lead scoring, routing, lifecycle stages, and attribution infrastructure — not just operated someone else's
- Has lived through (and fixed) messy data: dedupes, backfills, spam attacks, tracking outages; knows prevention beats cleanup
- Comfortable with tag management (GTM), webhooks, APIs, and light scripting/automation (n8n, Zapier, Python, or AI-agent tooling)
- Thinks in systems and failure modes: asks "what happens when this breaks at 2am on a launch weekend?"
- Familiarity with email infrastructure and deliverability
- Obsessive QA instinct — the type who catches the broken UTM before the campaign goes live
- Strong stakeholder management across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Data, Design, and external agencies
- Moves fast without breaking the data; documents everything
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

Overview
LaunchDarkly is seeking a creative and experienced Product Manager to lead our end-to-end data products, from SDK data ingest through our data platform to the customer-facing observability, metrics, and experimentation experiences built on top of it. You will own the vision and strategy for this entire pipeline as a coherent product, ensuring the data customers send us is trustworthy, timely, and transformed into experiences that help them ship better software. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of data infrastructure, observability/analytics, and how customers and their agents consume and work with software delivery data.
Responsibilities
Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for LaunchDarkly's end-to-end data products, spanning SDK event ingestion, our data platform, and customer-facing data products, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer requirements.
Own the strategy for AI-powered analysis of our data and the agent experience of our data products: how AI surfaces insights, anomalies, and recommendations from software delivery data, and how our data is modeled, exposed, and made consumable so that AI agents are first-class consumers alongside humans.
Own the product strategy, platform definition, and GTM for our data products.
Treat the data pipeline as a single product: drive coherence across ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption so that every downstream experience (analytics, experimentation, insights, integrations) is built on a reliable, well-modeled foundation.
Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.
Monitor industry trends and competitor products to stay ahead of the curve.
Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs and pain points are addressed in all product decisions.
Partner with marketing and cross-functional teams including sales, customer success, and support to define Go-To-Market plans and strategy for data products and features.
Mentor and uplevel other product managers, and raise the bar for data-informed product practice across the organization.
About you
Curious:
More than anything, you love learning and are able to build opinions and expertise quickly across many domains.
Purpose-driven:
The how behind all your projects is driven by a clear definition of why we're solving the problem.
Agent-first:
You’re obsessive about pushing agents to their limits and often eschew UIs in favor of agent-first interactions.
Customer-centric:
You are driven to understand customer challenges and needs, crafting solutions that provide real value.
Product sense:
You love great software and can't stand bad software. You have a strong focus on craft, quality, and the ability to deeply empathize with the end user to deliver delightful experiences.
Systems thinker:
You see how the pieces connect. You're as comfortable reasoning about an ingestion pipeline's throughput as you are about the dashboard a customer sees, and you understand how decisions at one layer ripple through the others.
Collaborative:
You excel at working with diverse teams, seamlessly bridging customer stakeholders, ecosystem partners, and product development teams.
Effective communicator:
You build strong relationships and communicate with clarity and precision. You're an incredible writer who can concisely explain complex ideas in simple ways to a wide variety of audiences.
Adaptable:
You thrive in fast-paced environments and can effectively prioritize in order to manage multiple projects at once.
High agency:
You are motivated to achieve success and have a strong sense of ownership to deliver great outcomes across a broad range of responsibilities. Even if it's not your responsibility, if you see something that needs to be done, you make sure it happens.
Business acumen:
You understand how technical solutions tie to business objectives and can align projects to meet customer and company goals.
Qualifications
8+ years of product experience, especially with data platforms, data infrastructure, analytics, or developer tools.
Alternatively, 8+ years of engineering experience in data-intensive systems with a strong product mindset and a desire to transition into a product management role.
We will consider candidates with fewer years of experience who demonstrate exceptional potential and excitement to get into the space, or who bring significant hands-on experience with AI-powered data analysis.
Proven track record of successfully bringing data products to market and driving strategy across multiple teams or a platform-scale product area.
Strong understanding of modern data architectures: event/streaming pipelines, data warehousing and lakehouse patterns, data modeling, and the trade-offs of processing data at scale.
Experience with both platform products (where the customer is internal teams or developers) and end-user-facing data products (analytics, observability, insights, experimentation), and an understanding of how the two must work together.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with and influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

THE ROLE
We’re looking for a product marketer to own positioning, launches, and customer stories for Baseten’s post-training offerings. You’ll work closely with researchers, engineers, and customers to understand a fast-moving market and give MLEs and researchers a clear reason to choose Baseten Training.
You’re an excellent writer, a curious researcher, and a fast learner who can develop a strong point of view on technical topics, rather than just translating product features into content. Prior post-training experience is helpful, but not required.
There’s no single path into this role. We welcome candidates from non-traditional backgrounds who have built strong writing, market judgment, and strategic thinking plus execution skills, whether that comes from product marketing or another field. We care more about the quality of your work and how quickly you learn than a particular title or industry background.
If you’re passionate about AI infrastructure, post-training, developer engagement, and simplifying complex technologies for real-world adoption, we want to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Positioning & Messaging: Develop clear and differentiated messaging that articulates the value of Baseten’s Training platform to developers and enterprise customers.
- Competitive Insights: Understand the fast-moving AI market and build competitive and market analysis to inform product positioning strategies.
- Narrative Development: Shape how the market thinks about closed-to-open weights models and post-training ROI.
- Product Storytelling: Own the launch process for new features and products, collaborating closely with product, engineering, sales, and growth teams.
- Customer Stories: Work with our customers to understand the technical differentiation, key story, and compelling customer results. Then own telling the story from customer interviews through distribution and publication.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience owning positioning, launches, or customer storytelling, gained through product marketing or related work.
- An interest in AI infra and post-training with a proven aptitude to learn quickly.
- Excellent writing: You can turn complex product capabilities into clear, accurate, compelling narratives. We’d love to see some of your work.
- Fast learning: You get up to speed on unfamiliar technical concepts, ask thoughtful questions, and work with engineers and researchers to get the details right. You can operate at the right technical altitude when talking to different stakeholders.
- Competitive judgment: You proactively research customer alternatives and develop a clear point of view on differentiation.
- Hands-on ownership: You prioritize in ambiguity, navigate cross-functional trade-offs, and drive work through to launch.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist, your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, "They'll be in touch soon." So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often providers are overwhelmed with the painstakingly tedious work required to get paid by insurance companies. Powered by proprietary models, Tennr handles the complex paperwork that gets patients through the door and providers paid, helping operators get patients the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We're seeking a Clinical Criteria Escalations Specialist to support our Qualifications team, the product customers rely on to evaluate medical necessity and documentation requirements. In this role, you'll own customer feedback, custom criteria requests, and clinical escalations, determining whether feedback represents a true criteria issue, a payer policy interpretation question, a documentation gap, or a customer-specific preference, and turning it into clear, actionable guidance.
This is a great fit for an RN or LPN with experience in utilization management, prior authorization, clinical appeals, CDI, medical necessity review, or payer policy review. You should be comfortable reading payer policies, reviewing clinical documentation, and making sense of ambiguous feedback with strong clinical judgment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and triage customer feedback related to qualification criteria, medical necessity logic, documentation requirements, and payer policy interpretation.
- Review custom criteria requests and translate clinical requirements into clear internal guidance for criteria writers, reviewers, and customer-facing teams.
- Read and interpret payer policies, Medicare/Medicaid guidance, and customer-provided documentation, validating that criteria align with the correct payer, code, policy source, and clinical scenario.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve criteria-related escalations and close the loop on customer feedback.
- Identify recurring feedback themes and help improve internal criteria standards, review guidance, and escalation processes.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- Active RN or LPN license.
- Experience in utilization management, prior authorization, medical necessity review, clinical appeals, payment integrity, CDI, payer policy review, or DME/HME qualification review.
- Strong understanding of medical necessity, payer policy, and clinical documentation, with the ability to distinguish policy-backed requirements from customer preference or workflow variation.
- Strong written communication, attention to detail, and judgment around when to resolve, document, or escalate.
- Familiarity with LCDs, NCDs, HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10, denial review, or criteria-heavy workflows like DME/HME, infusion, or specialty pharmacy is a plus.
WHY TENNR?
- Drive Impact: one of our company values is Cowboy, meaning you set the pace. You won't just talk about things, you'll get them done. And feel the impact.
- Develop Operational Expertise: learn the inner workings of scaling systems, tools, and infrastructure
- Innovate with Purpose: we're not just doing this for fun (although we do have a lot of fun). At Tennr, you'll join a high-caliber team maniacally focused on reducing patient delays across the U.S. healthcare system.
- Build Relationships: collaborate and connect with like-minded, driven individuals in our Hudson Square office 4 days/week
- Free lunch! Plus a pantry full of snacks.
BENEFITS
- Beautiful new office at 345 Hudson Street
- Unlimited PTO
- 100% paid employee health benefit options
- Employer-funded 401(k) match
- Competitive parental leave

WHO WE ARE
Help Scout started in 2011 with a simple premise: support software should treat customers like people, not tickets. 3+ billion conversations later, more than 10,000 companies use Help Scout to grow relationships with customers of all types, from clients to patients and beyond.
Now we’re in a new chapter: not only building AI that gives teams more space to focus on the customer experience, but also reimagining how we operate in an AI-native world. That means shipping and learning faster, without compromising on craft. Great work here carries a strong opinion and sweats the details, regardless of the tools we use to drive it.
We’ve been a fully remote team https://articles.helpscout.com/blog/remote-culture/ since day one, with 120+ teammates now all over the world. It’s a culture where you’ll be trusted to take ownership, stay curious, and raise the quality of work around you. It comes with clear expectations and a team that will push you to do some of the best work of your career.
If that kind of challenge gives you energy, we’d love to meet you.
YOUR IMPACT
Help Scout has earned something most software companies never get: genuine trust. 10,000+ businesses use us because we've always believed that customer relationships are the business, and that every interaction should feel like it came from someone who cares. That trust took a decade to build, and now it's the foundation for something bigger.
The support industry is changing shape. AI will take on more of the tedious work so humans can lean into the relationship part. At Help Scout, the place where that relationship actually happens is the Conversations product group, which spans two product lines. Inbox is the workspace: every channel and every conversation in one place, built for the people who spend their whole day inside it. Copilot is AI working alongside them: drafts ready to review, context at their fingertips, and the tedious parts handled so every reply is faster and better.
Conversations is the most-used surface we have. This is where every user spends most of their day, so speed, reliability, and craft are the product. It's also where the rest of the platform becomes real: Agent hands conversations to humans at the right moment, customer context shows up right where the work happens, and every one of those moments either builds trust or spends it. You'll be accountable for bringing it all to life with clarity and impact.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll own the Conversations product group end to end: vision, roadmap, monetization, and results for the Inbox and Copilot product lines. You'll report to Scott Rocher, our Chief Product Officer, and you'll be accountable for the revenue growth of the group. This is a player/coach role.
Inbox and Copilot are the surfaces our customers touch most, the core of the business today and the front door to everything we build next. You'll do the strategic product work on them yourself: deciding what needs to get built next, how the workspace and its AI evolve together, and where investment in craft pays off. As the group grows, you'll hire and manage a team of PMs.
Note: This role is open to US-based applicants only.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Set the vision and strategy for the Conversations group, and decide how Inbox and Copilot evolve together as one experience where AI makes every support pro faster without breaking their flow.
- Drive the Inbox roadmap hands-on: the workspace where every channel comes together and where our users spend their time in the product. This surface is held to a bar where speed, reliability, and polish are a differentiator.
- Drive the Copilot roadmap hands-on: integrations, contextual summaries, suggestions, and in-the-moment assistance that make each person on a support team meaningfully better at their job.
- Own how your products are monetized. Conversations spans seats and AI usage, and you'll design the packaging that makes each seat more valuable as Copilot does more. You'll collaborate with partners across Help Scout to model the impact of the products you ship.
- Partner deeply with the Autonomy group. Significant parts of Copilot run on the agent platform, and likewise, Agent hands conversations to humans in your workspace. The seams between the two groups are owned jointly, and making them invisible to customers is part of the job.
- Spend real time with customers, understanding how support pros and their leaders actually work, where AI helps, and where it gets in the way
- Partner with GTM and CS so the Conversations story is clear, the adoption motion is tight, and customer feedback loops back into the roadmap
- Build and manage the Conversations PM team as it grows, coaching for judgment and raising the bar for product craft across the group
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You've owned a core product at scale, the kind people spend their whole workday in, and you're as fluent in the commercial side of product as you are in features and user experience
- You've shipped AI-powered products and you understand how they succeed and fail
- You collaborate well across ownership lines. Copilot ships on technology the Autonomy group builds, and you know how to co-own a product surface with a peer and keep the seams invisible to customers
- You think in outcomes. Time to resolution, drafts accepted, teams that get more efficient as they use more of Help Scout .
- You care about craft. You notice the details that make daily-use software feel fast, calm, and reliable, and you hold a roadmap accountable to them
- You have strong monetization instincts. You can package a product line that spans seats and outcomes, and explain the tradeoffs.
- You've managed product managers before and still love doing the work yourself. You know how to coach without taking over, and you know when a decision is yours to make
- You're data self-sufficient. You pull your own data, run your own analyses, and use numbers to pressure-test direction
- You're technically fluent enough to build genuine trust with engineers. You can hold a meaningful conversation about system architecture and make better decisions because of it
- You're fluent with AI tools and treat them as part of your craft, for research synthesis, strategy testing, rapid prototyping, and customer signal analysis. You have a point of view on where these tools are heading and how they're changing the shape of product work
- You understand that when execution is cheap, judgment is the bottleneck. Your highest-leverage hours go to strategy and prioritization, defining what's next and what's not
- You're an excellent writer. Help Scout runs on writing, and you make your thinking visible in one-pagers, briefs, and narratives that move decisions forward
- You've worked in B2B SaaS and understand the difference between building for support teams and building for end consumers

THE ROLE
Baseten's engineers want to work in an AI-first way. What's missing isn't enthusiasm — it's the platform underneath it. Today everyone assembles their own agent config, context files, and MCP servers, so the good patterns stay trapped in individual setups instead of becoming defaults everyone inherits.
You'll build that platform: the agent configurations tuned to our monorepo, the context and tooling layer that makes agents competent in our codebase, the evals that tell us which approaches actually work, and the rollout mechanics that get a new engineer productive with agents in week one.
You are not here to mandate how engineers use AI — you're here to make the good path the easy path. Success looks like teams adopting what you build because it beats what they'd cobble together themselves, not because a policy requires it. Platform engineer, not AI evangelist. Ship infrastructure, measure it, kill what doesn't work, let adoption be the referee.
The playbook for AI-first SDLC doesn't exist at any company yet. You'll write ours.
EXAMPLE INITIATIVES
Agent substrate — Repo-level context infrastructure that makes agents competent in our codebase (CLAUDE.md/AGENTS.md http://CLAUDE.md/AGENTS.md conventions, architecture and domain context, and the tooling to keep it accurate as code moves). Internal MCP servers giving agents scoped access to CI, observability, incident tooling, deployment state, and docs. Shared skills, subagents, and hooks that encode Baseten workflows. Sandboxed environments where agents can build and test safely.
The golden path — Project templates and onboarding that ship with AI tooling configured and working. Self-serve infrastructure so teams build their own agents without you as the bottleneck. Gateway, auth, cost controls, and audit logging for internal model access.
The feedback loop — Eval harnesses that answer "is this config better than that one" against real Baseten tasks, not vibes. Instrumentation of AI tool usage and its downstream effects on cycle time, review latency, and change failure rate. Honest reporting, including on what you built that didn't pan out.
Agents in the SDLC — Automation where agents earn their keep: PR review triage, test gap-filling, incident context assembly, migrations and refactors, codebase Q&A. Integrating agents into CI/CD with guardrails that make it trustworthy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the internal AI developer platform end to end — architecture, build, rollout, operation, measurement.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and whatever ships next quarter), and build the context layer that makes them work against our monorepo.
- Build frameworks that let other engineers create their own agents without deep LLM expertise.
- Establish the evaluation practice for AI-assisted development at Baseten, and use it to drive investment decisions.
- Drive adoption through developer experience — good defaults, clear docs, low friction — not mandate.
- Embed with teams to find where AI genuinely unblocks them, then generalize those wins into platform capabilities.
- Own the safety layer: permissions, secrets handling, audit trails, cost management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Have 4+ years of relevant industry experience building and enabling AI native SDLC
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or Go, building tools other engineers depend on daily.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and agent frameworks — tool calling, MCP, context management, orchestration, failure handling. You've shipped something agentic that real people used, not just prototyped.
- Deep personal fluency with AI coding tools and well-formed opinions about where they break down.
- Platform mindset: you build for adoption and self-service, treat internal engineers as customers, and would rather ship a good default than write a style guide.
- Developer tooling, CI/CD, and Kubernetes/Docker fundamentals.
- Comfort with ambiguity — this space invalidates its own best practices every few months.
- Excellent written communication. Much of your leverage is docs, templates, and examples that scale beyond conversations you're in.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.

Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
Baseten is seeking talented and experienced Software Engineers to join our Platform team within the Infrastructure organization. As a member of Baseten's Platform Team, you will own the systems that let every engineer at Baseten prove their code works before it reaches production. Our product runs mission-critical AI inference for customers who measure downtime in dollars per second, which means our internal bar for correctness, performance, and failure tolerance has to be exceptional.
Your focus is the full testing stack: fast and reliable unit test tooling, integration harnesses that spin up realistic environments on demand, load and performance testing for GPU-backed inference workloads, and resilience testing that deliberately breaks things so our customers never have to find out what happens when a node dies mid-request. This is a builder role with org-wide leverage. You won't be writing tests for other teams — you'll be building the frameworks, harnesses, and feedback loops that make writing good tests the path of least resistance, and you'll set the standards for what "well-tested" means at Baseten.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own Baseten's testing strategy end to end — define the standards, the tiers, and the tooling that engineering teams build against.
- Build and maintain unit, integration, load and performance testing frameworks
- Design end to end test infrastructure that provisions realistic dependencies on demand — ephemeral Kubernetes namespaces, containerized service dependencies, etc.
- Build resilience and chaos testing capabilities: fault injection, network partition and latency simulation, pod and node failure scenarios, dependency degradation, and automated verification that our systems degrade gracefully and recover.
- Attack test suite reliability head-on — flake detection and quarantine, test impact analysis and selective execution, parallelization, and aggressive reduction of end-to-end CI wall time.
- Build observability into the testing layer itself: coverage reporting, test health dashboards, failure triage tooling, and clear signals about which areas of the codebase are under-tested.
- Create project templates and shared libraries so new services start with a complete testing setup on day one.
- Partner directly with product and infrastructure teams — embed where needed, understand their hardest testing problems, and turn one-off solutions into platform capabilities.
- Mentor engineers across the org on testing practice and raise the collective bar through code review, documentation, and internal advocacy.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong proficiency in Go and/or Python, with hands-on experience building test tooling and libraries used by other engineers.
- Deep experience with testing frameworks and their internals — pytest, Go's testing package, testify, testcontainers, or equivalents — including the ability to extend them, not just use them.
- Experience designing integration test infrastructure for distributed systems, including ephemeral environment provisioning and dependency management.
- Practical experience with load and performance testing tools (k6, Locust, Vegeta, JMeter, Gatling, or similar) and the judgment to interpret results and drive action from them.
- Solid Kubernetes and Docker fundamentals — you can build test infrastructure that runs on and tests against real cluster environments.
- Advanced understanding of CI/CD, including how to keep large test suites fast, deterministic, and trustworthy at scale.
- A track record of measurably improving testing culture on an engineering team — you have opinions on what to test, what not to test, and where the ROI actually is.
- Are excited about building foundational infrastructure and are comfortable working independently on ambiguous, high-impact technical challenges
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
