Company Description
We’re http://checkout.comCheckout.com http://Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we’re behind many of the digital experiences you use every day.
We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers.
Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.
If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.
With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced IT Engineer II to join Checkout’s IT Engineering team, supporting Workplace Technology. In this generalist role, you will work across the services and platforms managed by the team, helping colleagues get the technology they need while keeping those services secure, reliable, and easy to use.
You will contribute across areas such as identity and access, end-user devices, collaboration and productivity platforms, IT assets and licences, and office technology. You are not expected to be a subject matter expert in every product. Instead, you bring strong technical foundations, depth in one or more areas, and the curiosity to build working knowledge across the wider portfolio.
At this level, you can confidently resolve all but the most complex problems affecting the team. You will own operational outcomes, deliver small-to-medium projects independently, and work with colleagues and stakeholders to improve the services we provide across Checkout.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Cross-Portfolio Service Ownership: Administer and improve services across the Workplace Technology portfolio. This may include Okta, Google Workspace, Atlassian, macOS and Windows endpoint management through tools such as Jamf and Microsoft Intune, IT asset and licence processes, and office technology.
- Identity and Access: Support secure identity lifecycle and access management, including joiner, mover, and leaver activities, single sign-on, group and role administration, and least-privilege access.
- End-User Technology: Help manage and support company endpoints and workplace services. Apply approved configurations and security controls, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to a consistent employee experience across platforms.
- Platform Administration: Configure and maintain team-managed applications and services. Learn unfamiliar platforms quickly, follow established governance, and identify when a change needs specialist or security review.
- Operational Excellence: Provide dependable operational support, maintain clear documentation and runbooks, and help the team improve service quality, reliability, and supportability.
- Incident and Change Management: Own incidents through the full lifecycle, from triage, prioritisation, and stakeholder communication through safe service restoration, root-cause analysis, and follow-up actions. Maintain accurate incident records, capture decisions and remediation, and document recurring issues and operational procedures in clear, current runbooks and knowledge articles. Plan and implement changes safely, with appropriate testing, approvals, and rollback plans.
- Project Delivery: Plan and deliver small-to-medium technical projects, coordinating with stakeholders and other teams to manage dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
- Automation and Improvement: Identify repeatable manual work and service friction. Propose or build appropriately controlled automation and simpler workflows to reduce toil and improve consistency.
- Asset and Licence Management: Support accurate technology inventory, licence administration, and lifecycle processes, helping the team make effective and responsible use of its tools and equipment.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share learning across the team, contribute to onboarding and operational guidance, and support colleagues as they develop their technical skills.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience: Typically 2-3+ years in IT engineering, workplace technology, systems administration, or a similar technical role.
- Technical Breadth: Practical experience supporting or administering a range of workplace technology services. You have a strong foundation in at least one relevant area and are motivated to build capability across others.
- Relevant Platforms: Experience with some of the following is useful: identity and access management (for example, Okta and SSO); Google Workspace; Atlassian products; macOS or Windows endpoint management (for example, Jamf or Microsoft Intune); SaaS administration; IT asset or licence management; or office technology. You do not need experience with every product listed.
- Security Mindset: Understand the importance of least privilege, secure configuration, data protection, auditability, and careful change management. You know when to escalate a risk or seek specialist guidance.
- Problem Solving: Take a logical, evidence-led approach to troubleshooting. Explain technical options and trade-offs clearly, and distinguish between immediate mitigation and long-term resolution.
- Ownership: Take responsibility for work from investigation through resolution and follow-up. Care about the long-term health of the services you support, not only closing individual requests.
- Communication: Work effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and technical teams. Translate technical detail into clear updates and provide helpful, user-focused support.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working across a varied technology estate, learning new tools, and balancing planned delivery with operational priorities in a changing environment.
- Teamwork: Share knowledge, ask for help when needed, and contribute positively to a team that works across multiple technical domains.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⭐️ THE PARTNERSHIP ACTIVATION MANAGER ROLE ⭐️
You'll be the driving force behind the commercial activation of the Belfius Business network in Flanders or Wallonia & Brussels.
Your mission: help bankers identify the right companies (especially those with 20+ and 50+ employees), introduce the right Alan proposition, and turn our collaboration into measurable growth. You'll combine relationship building, commercial coaching and hands-on field activation, working closely with Alan's Belfius Partnership Lead, Sales teams and Field Marketing.
Your key missions
1. Activate the partner network. Build strong relationships with Belfius offices, zone directors and bankers across your territory. Identify the highest-potential offices and bankers (A/B/C prioritisation) and focus your energy where it has the most impact. Help bankers spot relevant opportunities in their portfolio and generate qualified leads.
2. Enable commercial success. Run trainings, workshops and commercial meetings (on-site and remote). Make Alan's proposition simple: which offer for which type of client, how to handle the most common questions, when to bring in an Alan Account Executive. Equip bankers with playbooks, customer stories and materials, within a compliant sales flow.
3. Turn strategy into action. Translate the quarterly Belfius x Alan commercial plan into a concrete local activation calendar: duo meetings with Alan Sales, focus groups, campaigns, incentives and events. Coordinate with Marketing and Sales so that every lead has a clear owner and a fast follow-up.
4. Own your impact. Track activity, leads, meetings, conversions and premium per customer across your network. Spot what works, challenge what doesn't, bring field feedback back to Alan and Belfius, and continuously improve the playbook.
You'll typically spend half or more of your time in the field, in Belfius offices and at client events.
⭐ Is it you we're looking for?
You might be a great fit if you:
- Have 3+ years of experience in field sales, business development, partner or network activation, ideally with distribution networks (banks, insurers, brokers, HR or payroll services, benefits providers...).
- Love building relationships and know how to turn them into commercial results, even with people you don't manage.
- Are at ease facilitating a workshop for 20 bankers in the morning and coaching one banker on a client call in the afternoon.
- Combine strong interpersonal skills with a structured, numbers-driven mindset: you know your funnel and where it leaks.
- Are proactive, entrepreneurial and comfortable working autonomously on a territory.
- Are native in Dutch and/or French and comfortable working in English.
Experience in insurance, employee benefits or healthcare is a plus. What matters most is your ability to activate people, build trust and drive results.
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the C0-D level range. https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity
🙌 PERKS & BENEFITS https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity
At Alan, we believe that being in good health is a basic need, and it starts with our employees. This is why Alaners are provided with a stimulating environment and perks ensuring they are happy, efficient and spend only high-quality time with co-workers.
Therefore, we offer:
- Fair rewards. Generous equity packages complement your base salary.
- Flexible Office. Amazing office space at our HQ in Paris, sponsored co-working hubs in Ghent, Brussels or Antwerp or a full-remote experience with home office equipment sponsorship, we want you to live where you’re the happiest.
- All the tools you need. Top of the range equipment: Macbook Pro, keyboard, laptop stand, monitor, and Bose noise-canceling headphones.
- Flexible vacation policy and flexible working hours. Organize your time as you wish.

- Transport. You can use your own inspiration based on the Green mobility budget

Learn more about our coaching culture https://alan.com/en/blog/discover-alan/a/alan-culture-excellence-through-coaching.
- Parental leave. Extended parental leave for all new parents.
IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.
If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist.
We'll be thrilled to receive your application!

STAFF PRODUCT MANAGER, PRODUCT DISCOVERY ENGINE
ABOUT US
Constructor powers product search and discovery for some of the largest retailers in the world. We serve billions of requests every week, and you’ve probably seen our results somewhere and used our product without knowing it. We differentiate ourselves by focusing on metrics over features, and reinventing search and discovery from the ground up as a machine learning challenge with the specific goal of improving metrics like revenue. We’re approximately doubling year over year despite the market slowing down and have customers in every eCommerce vertical. We’re a passionate team of technologists who love solving problems and want to make our customers’ and coworkers’ lives better. We value empathy, openness, curiosity, continuous improvement, and are excited by metrics that matter. We believe that empowering everyone in a company to do what they think is best can lead to great things.
JOB SUMMARY
We’re looking for a systems-minded Staff Product Manager to take Constructor’s search and discovery to the state of the art — and keep it there — across every retail industry we serve. This is a highly technical, high-leverage role at the core of our Product Discovery Engine chapter: the teams responsible for how we retrieve, understand, and rank the right products for every shopper, on every query, for every customer.
Your job is to raise discovery quality and, through it, our customers’ business metrics. You won’t be measured on features shipped — you’ll be measured on relevance and business outcomes, like conversion, revenue per visit, and search-attributed GMV, moving up.
You’ll start embedded with our Search Quality team, owning its strategy and roadmap and getting deep into the systems that decide what shoppers actually see. Over time, your mandate grows to setting direction for the entire Product Discovery Engine chapter — deciding where we’re heading and why across recall, ranking, query understanding, personalization, and the ML infrastructure underneath. This is a Staff role today with a clear path to Director as you take on chapter-wide leadership.
Search at Constructor is fundamentally a machine learning problem, so this role lives and breathes ML. You’ll partner closely with ML, data science, and engineering to turn the latest research into production wins, keep us ahead of both commercial competitors and academic state of the art, and be the connective tissue that aligns multiple teams — ML Recall, ML Infra, and, over time, teams like CORE, SABR, and Catalog Management — behind a single, coherent vision for great discovery.
If you’re excited about driving innovation across dozens of the world’s largest retailers, being held to relevance and business outcomes, and pushing an already best-in-class product further ahead, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own business impact, not features. Drive measurable lift in search-attributed conversion, revenue per visit, and GMV alongside relevance across our customer base.
- Deliver across every retail industry. Move quality and business metrics across all the verticals we serve, accounting for the differences in catalog, language, and shopper intent.
- Keep us at the state of the art. Continuously translate the latest ML / IR research and competitive moves into production wins, and ship SOTA ML / LLM-assisted capabilities that beat our previous best on relevance.
- Set chapter vision and strategy. Define the multi-quarter direction for the Product Discovery Engine — where we’re heading and why — tie it directly to customer business outcomes, and rally teams behind it.
- Lead Search Quality first. Own its strategy and roadmap, driving measurable improvements in the relevance and correctness of results.
- Orchestrate across the pipeline. Unify recall, ranking, query understanding, and personalization behind one definition of quality and one set of business metrics, so improvements compound instead of colliding.
- Turn ML research into production wins. Partner deeply with ML and data science to take models — from candidate generation and recall to LLM-assisted interpretation — from idea to production, balancing accuracy, latency, and cost.
- Make quality measurable and explainable. Build the metrics, evaluation frameworks, and tooling the whole chapter uses to measure, attribute, and explain discovery quality and its business impact.
- Own quality under pressure. Lead investigation and triage when issues arise, and design durable, systemic fixes rather than one-off patches.
- Grow the mandate. Expand into chapter-wide leadership spanning ML Recall, ML Infra, and — over time — teams like CORE, SABR, and Catalog Management.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Within your first year, you will have:
- Driven measurable lift in search-attributed conversion and revenue per visit — moving business metrics, not just quality metrics.
- Driven measurable business-metric lift (conversion, revenue per visit, GMV) and relevance lift across every major retail vertical we serve.
- Shipped at least one state-of-the-art ML / LLM-assisted capability into production that beats our previous best on relevance.
- Won head-to-head quality benchmarks against every major competitor in the verticals we compete in, with a repeatable, defensible methodology.
- Taken core quality metrics to best-in-class levels and kept them improving quarter over quarter.
- Stood up an evaluation framework and tooling that ties model and system investments directly to customer business outcomes.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Extensive product management experience (typically 8+ years) in search, discovery, ML, or NLP-heavy products, including time operating at a senior or staff level.
- A track record of moving business metrics at scale — conversion, revenue, engagement — not just shipping features, and of setting strategy across multiple teams.
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end search pipeline: query interpretation → recall / candidate generation → ranking → reranking → personalization → delivery.
- Strong ML product depth — owning production models and reasoning about tradeoffs between high-capacity (LLM / batch) and low-latency (real-time) approaches — and a habit of staying current with state-of-the-art research.
- Fluency with retrieval and recall, query understanding (tokenization, synonyms, spelling correction, multilingual support), and search evaluation frameworks.
- A rigorous, measurement-first mindset that ties every quality investment back to business outcomes.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership — able to align teams with different goals behind a shared definition of quality and a shared set of business metrics, working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering, data science, and ML Ops.
- Comfort operating with ambiguity, setting direction where none exists yet, and leading through clarity and credibility rather than the org chart.
BENEFITS

We're looking for a CRM Marketing Manager to join our team.
We use data-driven marketing automation to improve customer journeys through personalised communications across various channels (like email, push notifications or WhatsApp). What you will be doing:
Deliver CRM messages and campaigns for the category served across email, push and in-product, working from the category's intake form, so that the category decides what is sent and the centre's standards decide how well it is built.
Design, launch and improve automated lifecycle journeys for sellers, buyers and, where relevant, professional users, supporting acquisition, activation and retention for each brand in each market.
Grow the addressable base (consented, reachable contacts) as a category KPI, and pass consent and data-quality gaps to the CRM function head.
Design, run and read tests (in-channel and incrementality), explain the business impact, and scale proven solutions across the category's markets.
Set weekly priorities with the category's Strategy, Planning and Operations Lead and report results against the category's outcomes.

Experience in classifieds, e-commerce or other multi-sided marketplaces.
Build and run automated journeys in a CRM or marketing automation platform across email, push and in-product, from segmentation to reporting.
Experience with Braze (or equivalent) and with working with technology and product teams on implementation projects.
Data-driven: design tests, read results and explain business impact through analysis.
User-centric: turn insights into end-to-end consumer journeys.
Intrapreneurial: comfortable building completely new solutions, and working in a matrix with a good degree of ambiguity.
Use AI in day-to-day CRM work, for example to draft and localise copy, build segments, personalise journeys and speed up analysis.
Fluent business English to work smoothly with colleagues across several countries.
Location: based in Barcelona.
Our benefits:
Competitive salary and an annual bonus (15%)
Training and conference budget
Health insurance (Cigna)
A high degree of autonomy, as OLX believes in empowering people
