ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own the technical foundation for Xsolla's field marketing tooling, a greenfield initiative spanning mobile and web applications used by internal teams and external partners at scale. You'll design and build systems that operate in high-traffic, low-reliability environments and integrate deeply with our CRM, marketing automation, and product ecosystems.
This role demands someone who thinks in systems, not screens. You'll make architecture decisions around real-time data sync, API orchestration across multiple third-party platforms, and device-level hardware integrations, all while shipping fast enough to keep pace with a global events calendar.
ABOUT US
Xsolla is a global commerce company with robust tools and services to help developers solve the inherent challenges of the video game industry. From indie to AAA, companies partner with Xsolla to help them fund, distribute, market, and monetize their games. Grounded in the belief in the future of video games, Xsolla is resolute in the mission to bring opportunities together, and continually make new resources available to creators. Headquartered and incorporated in Los Angeles, California, Xsolla operates as the merchant of record and has helped over 1,500+ game developers to reach more players and grow their businesses around the world. Third-party API integration at scale: CRM, marketing automation, or similar enterprise platforms
Device hardware integration experience (camera, NFC, QR scanning)

Hi, I’m Paul, VP of Engineering at
Customer.io
. We’re looking for experienced backend engineers who care deeply about reliability, performance, and scalability. You’ll design, build, and evolve the systems that power communication at massive scale - while helping us push the boundaries of what great engineering can look like.
About
Customer.io
Over 9,000 companies - from scrappy startups to global brands - use our platform to send billions of emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS every day. Customer.io powers automated communication that people actually want to receive.
We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data. Under the hood: Go, React, Ember and AI help us ship fast and scale with confidence.
What We Value
Ownership
You own problems end to end. You move fast, act like an owner, and thrive in ambiguity. You've led complex projects before, whether officially or not, and you're ready to do it again.
Engineers with product taste
You think like a user, not just an engineer. You care how your systems power real customer value - and how to make them better.

You bring rigor and creativity. Best practices matter - but never more than forward motion.
What You’ll Do
Design and build distributed systems in Go that help customers send timely, relevant messages at scale
Collaborate across teams to debug issues and deliver reliable solutions
Own problems end to end - from architecture and schema design to testing, deployment, and monitoring
Participate in an on-call rotation as required, supporting the reliability of the systems you build
Share knowledge and raise the bar through sharing your progress publicly with short videos, thoughtful writing, and mentorship
Use AI agents to make multi-file changes by scoping the work, writing the prompt, and verifying the output
What we're looking for
7+ years of experience building scalable, distributed systems in Go (or similar statically typed languages)
Comfort working in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP)
Familiarity with relational databases (we use MySQL) and an understanding of performance tradeoffs
Experience with observability tooling and operating production systems
A bias for action over perfection, and pride in owning technical decisions
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in transparency. Starting salary for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 USD (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment. In addition to base salary, this role includes an equity grant in the form of stock options, so you share in the success you help build.
We know our people are what make us great, and we’re committed to taking great care of them. Our inclusive benefits package supports your well-being and growth, including
100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums for you and your family

Hi, I’m Paul, VP of Engineering at
Customer.io
. We’re looking for curious, driven Fullstack (Product) Engineers who want to own big things and delight our customers. You’ll design, build, and ship the core product experiences our customers rely on - while helping the team push boundaries on what great communication tools can do.
About
You care about frontend polish, backend performance, and everything in between.
A healthy skepticism for “the way things are done”
You bring rigor and creativity. Best practices matter - but never more than forward motion.
What You’ll Do
Build fullstack features in Go, React, and Ember that power key customer workflows
Collaborate with others to turn ideas into shipped customer value
Share knowledge and raise the bar through sharing your progress publicly with short videos, thoughtful writing, and mentorship
Participate in an on-call rotation as required, supporting the reliability of the systems you build
Help evolve our systems to scale with more customers, messages, and use cases
Use AI agents to make multi-file changes by scoping the work, writing the prompt, and verifying the output
What we're looking for
7+ years of experience building and scaling backend services and product-facing features
Fluency in TypeScript, React (or similar), and a statically typed backend language like Go
A strong care for frontend polish, backend performance, and the overall customer experience
Proficiency with APIs, relational databases, and writing testable, performant code
A bias for action over perfection, and pride in owning technical decisions
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in transparency. Starting salary for this role is $150,000 - $250,000 USD (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment. In addition to base salary, this role includes an equity grant in the form of stock options, so you share in the success you help build.

LEAP Program Description
Global Solutions Ventures (GSV) – a joint-venture partnership between ZemiTek, LLC and Dexis Consulting Group – is implementing the Long-term Exceptional Technical Assistance Project (LEAP Global), a mechanism originally used by USAID to battle against infectious diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, and pandemic influenza. As of July 1, 2025, LEAP Global transitioned to the U.S. Department of State (DOS). This initiative aims to address the complex human resource challenges faced by national infectious disease programs in the USA-supported countries.
The intervention of this project is to hire and embed technical expert advisors and subject matter experts within government entities. By directly embedding the technical expertise within the national programs, LEAP provides long-term, sustainable lifesaving support to empower host governments to lead and manage key aspects of their infectious disease portfolios and improve coordination between the U.S. Government and the host country.
About the Position
The Supply Chain Technical Advisor is a U.S. Government (USG)–funded position that will be seconded to the Government of Botswana’s Transition Management Unit (TMU). The Advisor will support the Government of Botswana in carrying out life-saving humanitarian assistance (LHA) service delivery in full alignment with the new Presidential Executive Order (EO) directives. The Advisor will provide high-level technical guidance to the Botswana Ministry of Health (MOH) including NAHPA and CMS and Ministry of Local Government and Traditional Affairs (MLGTA) on strengthening national healthcare supply chain systems in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the Governments of Botswana and the United States. The Advisor will work day‑to‑day alongside Botswana government staff as a core member of the TMU to strengthen Botswana’s capacity to plan, finance, manage, and sustain healthcare commodities and supply chain functions, to ensure consistent, efficient, accountable, and transparent delivery of medicines and medical supplies. The Advisor will help ensure the successful implementation of Botswana’s strategies to achieve a cost-effective, resilient, and well‑functioning supply chain that supports lifesaving HIV service delivery and advances Botswana’s path to self‑reliance, in alignment with U.S. Government global health policy and the MOU. The Advisor will also work directly with the Department of State foreign assistance team to guide USG investments in supply chain and procurement and will serve as a key liaison between the Department of State, the U.S. interagency, the Botswana Government, international organizations, and donor agencies to ensure coordinated and effective program delivery.
The Supply Chain Technical Advisor will support the Botswana‑based USG Health Assistance / foreign assistance team, the Ministry of Health, CMS, NAHPA, and the Ministry of Local Government and Traditional Affairs to plan, coordinate, and oversee the strengthening of the national healthcare supply chain. Working alongside government counterparts within the TMU, the Advisor will lead and inform the development of strategic guidance to strengthen Botswana’s capacity to manage and sustain HIV and other priority healthcare commodities ; improve forecasting and supply planning, strengthen real-time monitoring of stock levels including stock management and quantification; lower procurement costs, including through pooled or coordinated procurement where appropriate; and better integrate donor‑funded supply chain activities into national systems and programming. The Advisor will help ensure the implementation of cost‑effective, sustainable, lifesaving HIV service delivery in alignment with the MOU between the Governments of Botswana and the United States and U.S. Government global health priorities.
Overall Objective of Assignment
The Supply Chain Technical Advisor will serve as a senior technical advisor in strategic planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of supply chain and procurement aspects of Botswana’s HIV/AIDS portfolio, within an integrated health systems approach. The Advisor will function as a primary subject matter expert on health supply chain and procurement for both the TMU and the Department of State foreign assistance team. The Advisor will lead and support policy, strategic, and technical engagements on supply chain and procurement with the MOH, MLGTA, the National AIDS and Health Promotion Agency (NAHPA), CMS, the TMU, and the U.S. Government interagency, as well as with international and bilateral organizations and other donor agencies, to address technical issues and coordinate efforts to strengthen HIV/AIDS and broader health supply chains. Work may include serving as a Program/Project Manager for targeted interventions; providing high‑level technical assistance to Botswana counterparts in the development and implementation of policies, strategic plans, and operational guidance; and advising the Department of State on the design, prioritization, and course‑correction of USG investments in supply chain and procurement. ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
Product at Baseten is a nascent function. Our company today has a strong engineering culture, is heavily customer-obsessed, and moves fast. We're building the product function now, and you'd be one of the people who defines it. You'll work directly with our founders and with some of the best systems and AI engineers, and you'll set the standard for what product looks like here. PMs at Baseten don't sit above engineers. You earn ownership by being technical, finding the truth in front of customers, building great cross-functional relationships, and shipping great product experiences.
Once a model is deployed, keeping it fast, reliable, and economical at scale is where production inference is won or lost. You'll own the surface that makes that happen: how deployments autoscale, how traffic is routed, how the system fails over, and how workloads scale across clusters and regions. You'll own these as products end to end, both how they work under the hood and how customers configure and observe them, and you'll set the roadmap that infrastructure and product teams alike can build toward. This space is still evolving. Think cloud infrastructure in the mid-2000s. Your job is to make it 10x easier to reliably scale and serve AI models in production, and to set the market standard.
This role is a great fit if you love getting deep in the technical details, and if you'd rather do whatever it takes to ship for customers than stay in the strategy, UX, or docs layer. You're drawn to platforms, systems, GPUs, models, and scaling infrastructure more than to applied AI, and you find real satisfaction in the foundational, sometimes unglamorous work that makes AI systems reliable and scalable at the infrastructure level.
EXAMPLE INITIATIVES
Take a look at these blog posts written by members of our Product and Infrastructure teams:
- How we built Multi-cloud Capacity Management (MCM) https://www.baseten.co/blog/how-we-built-multi-cloud-capacity-management/
- How the Baseten Delivery Network (BDN) makes cold starts fast https://www.baseten.co/blog/how-the-baseten-delivery-network-bdn-makes-cold-starts-fast/
- Baseten brings AI video to life on Nebius https://www.baseten.co/blog/ai-video-nebius-baseten-inference-stack/
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own how workloads scale and where they land, from autoscaling to demand (up under load, down to zero when idle) to a single placement policy that expresses region, compliance regime, and capacity preference.
- Give compliance-bound workloads right-of-way on sensitive capacity.
- Make production inference reliable by default, so every request reaches a healthy replica and rolling deploys never drop traffic.
- Define region-aware routing, with multi-region and active-active failover as first-class policy, plus health-aware recovery from stuck or bad replicas.
- Build the release engine beneath safe rollouts: the traffic-shifting that powers canary, shadow, and A/B, along with warm-ups, drain, and probes.
- Push the cost and performance frontier for serving AI at scale across latency, throughput, uptime, and cost efficiency.
- Drive a measurable decline in MTTR through self-serve incident management.
- Set the roadmap that infrastructure and product teams build toward, and own each capability end to end, from backend behavior through the customer-facing configuration and observability surface.
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years in product management, including deep experience with infrastructure, distributed systems, or ML serving.
- Fluency reasoning about scaling, routing, failover, and the cost/performance frontier, at a level that earns the respect of staff engineers.
- Experience owning capabilities end to end, backend through UX, rather than a single slice.
- Track record driving cross-team roadmaps and the dependencies beneath them.
- Comfort defining a category that doesn't fully exist yet.
NICE TO HAVE
- Hands-on experience with GPU infrastructure.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with serving frameworks like vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, or SGLang.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).
