What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
About the role:
We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, performance, and resilience of the cloud infrastructure powering Garner’s products and AI/ML workloads. This role sits on our Platform Engineering team. You will run the machine: defining and upholding SLOs, leading incident response, and driving the automation and standards that let every Garner engineer ship faster and more reliably. Because our systems directly influence health outcomes for millions of patients, maintaining the highest standards of production quality is imperative. This is an automation-first role: you will use AI tools to continuously convert manual operational work into monitored, hands-free processes, so the role gets more leveraged as you build.
Where you will work:
Garner is headquartered in NYC, but this position is available for individuals who are comfortable with remote work and occasional travel to HQ.
What you will do:
Run the Machine:
Own the end-to-end reliability, performance, and resilience of Garner’s cloud environments (AWS, Kubernetes), including those powering AI/ML workloads; define, measure, and uphold SLOs across our critical services
Lead Incident Response:
Serve in the on-call rotation, lead incident response, and drive deep-dive root cause analysis, seeing corrective actions through to resolution and rigorously reviewing infrastructure changes
Own Observability:
Build and maintain the monitoring, alerting, and observability systems that let us detect and resolve issues before users feel them
Scale & Optimize:
Translate ambiguous, high-performance scaling requirements into well-defined, automated, and composable infrastructure-as-code deliverables (Terraform); proactively identify and implement cost-efficiency and performance gains across the stack to maximize cloud ROI
Automate Away Toil:
Pay down impactful tech debt and reduce operational toil, using AI tools and automation to convert repetitive operational work into hands-free, monitored processes, and holding our internal platform to the same rigorous standards as our customer-facing products
Enable Engineering:
Build and maintain the deployment and observability standards that empower the broader engineering team to ship AI features faster and more reliably; communicate complex cloud and reliability concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Uphold Security & Compliance:
Ensure our infrastructure and operations meet Garner’s security and HIPAA compliance obligations
The ideal candidate has:
4+ years of hands-on experience operating production cloud infrastructure at scale in an SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering role
Deep expertise with Kubernetes and Terraform in a cloud-first environment (AWS preferred)
A strong track record with production observability: defining SLOs, building monitoring and alerting, and leading incident response and blameless post-incident reviews
Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python or Go, applied to infrastructure automation (experience with Kubernetes APIs a plus)
Experience driving cloud cost-efficiency and performance optimization across compute, storage, and networking
Experience supporting AI/ML or data-intensive workloads in production is a plus
Experience operating in a security-conscious or regulated environment (HIPAA, SOC 2) is a plus
Fluency with AI tools (e.g., Claude) applied to real engineering and operations workflows, or strong motivation to build it fast
A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback
Technologies we use:
AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Istio, Python, Go, TypeScript, Postgres, NATS, Datadog, GitLab
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.
We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
Compensation Transparency:
The target range for this position is $191,000 - $226,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k) with company match, flexible spending accounts, Teladoc Health and more.

With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
THE ROLE
Checkout.com http://Checkout.com is scaling a multi-cloud environment at pace, and security architecture is central to how we do it safely.
As Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you'll work closely with Engineering, GRC, Technology Risk, and Security Operations to embed security into every design decision and to make sure we can see what's happening across the estate once it's live.
You'll help embed security within the design phase and ongoing operations of our multi-cloud posture, define guardrails and policy-as-code standards, and support the strengthening of our SIEM and detection capability. You'll take on the most complex and ambiguous cloud security challenges in the business, and hold engineers to best practices.
This isn't a tool-monitoring role. You're here to lead security-by-design, set best-practice standards, and raise the bar.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and enforce reference security architectures, patterns, and blueprints for secure cloud adoption across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Conduct security assessments for new cloud services, defining preventative and detective controls (via security guardrails) to maintain secure posture and detect drift.
- Partner with Engineering teams to embed security guardrails early in design, ensuring compliance and resilience without adding friction.
- Evaluate engineering and platform architecture proposals, identifying security gaps and seeing remediation through to completion.
- Document and uphold secure-by-design principles and architecture governance, and enforce policy-as-code frameworks aligned with NIST, CIS, and PCI DSS.
- Set the monitoring scope and priorities for CNAPP/CSPM tooling (e.g. Wiz or equivalent), defining which misconfigurations and vulnerabilities matter most against CIS, NIST, and PCI DSS benchmarks, and holding engineering teams accountable to remediation outcomes.
- Work with Security Operations to shape cloud logging and detection requirements, ensuring our SIEM has the right visibility across the estate.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to articulate security risks and mitigations in terms that support business decision-making.
Skills and Experience We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with strong technical expertise and a genuine passion for security. Here's what we need:
- Risk-based decision-making and adherence to regulatory and internal security standards (PCI DSS, NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Broad knowledge across security domains and their capabilities within AWS, Azure, and GCP, with 6+ years' hands-on experience and SME depth in at least one platform.
- Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), API security, and IaC security (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
- Securing user and non-user access at scale, including Azure Policy and cloud-native IAM controls.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear, security-focused guidance, combined with excellent communication and senior-stakeholder engagement skills, and experience mentoring other engineers.
Nice to Have
- CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent certifications.
- AZ-500, AWS Certified Security, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or equivalent cloud security certification.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
- Experience integrating ATT&CK Navigator into SOC workflows.

Great products grow when people experience their value firsthand. We are looking for a Field Marketing Manager to design and scale programs that turn in-person engagement into enterprise pipeline. You will manage a full range of third-party sponsorships and Perplexity-led field events that drive awareness, deepen relationships with senior buyers, and accelerate opportunities.
You will join a small field marketing team as an equal partner, working together to divide the portfolio based on company priorities, capacity, geography, and each person's strengths. This is a hands-on role for someone who can set the strategy and execute every detail. You will work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Growth, Partnerships, and Customer Success to identify the right audiences, build programs around their needs, and turn each event into measurable business impact.
The ideal candidate is a field marketing generalist who is equally comfortable evaluating a sponsorship, building a regional plan, hosting an executive dinner, working a conference floor, and analyzing pipeline conversion afterward. You may bring deeper experience in sponsored events or owned programs, but you should be ready to operate across both.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-own the field marketing strategy. Work as an equal partner on a two-person field marketing team to build the portfolio around company priorities, target accounts, sales territories, product launches, and pipeline goals. Divide and conquer across programs while maintaining shared standards, visibility, and accountability.
- Turn field engagement into pipeline. Design every program around a clear audience, business objective, conversion path, and follow-up plan, from pre-event outreach through opportunity creation and deal acceleration.
- Own third-party event sponsorships. Evaluate conferences and sponsorship opportunities, recommend where Perplexity should invest, negotiate and activate packages, coordinate speakers and on-site presence, and build the pre-event and post-event motion required to produce a return.
- Run high-impact Perplexity events. Own executive dinners, vertical roundtables, regional roadshows, customer workshops, and hackathons that build pipeline and deepen relationships with senior buyers.
- Align tightly with Sales. Partner with Account Executives, SDRs, and Sales leadership on target-account lists, meeting goals, outreach, on-site roles, hand-raiser routing, and post-event follow-up.
- Represent Perplexity in the market. Lead on-site execution across conferences and owned events, including messaging, booth or venue experience, executive participation, customer meetings, and post-event conversion.
- Build integrated campaigns around field moments. Work with Product Marketing, Growth, Lifecycle, Social, Comms, and Partnerships to extend events through targeted outreach, content, digital programs, and sales activation before and after each moment.
- Own execution end to end. Manage agencies, vendors, venues, budgets, timelines, run-of-show, staffing, production, and contingency planning while maintaining a high bar for attendee experience.
- Measure outcomes, not activity. Instrument the path from invited account through registration, attendance, meeting, opportunity, and revenue. Track cost per attendee, meetings held, target-account engagement, sourced and influenced pipeline, deal acceleration, and program ROI.
- Build the field operating system. Create the planning cadence, intake process, event tiers, checklists, reporting, and retros required to scale the program and make investment decisions based on results.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in field marketing and event marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology.
- Proven track record building and scaling a portfolio that includes third-party sponsorships, conferences, and company-led field programs, with measurable pipeline or deal-acceleration results.
- A versatile, hands-on operator who can move between strategy, sponsorship evaluation, campaign planning, event production, executive management, on-site execution, and performance analysis.
- Deep expertise in either third-party sponsorships or company-led field events is welcome, provided you have the range and interest to operate across both.
- Strong event planning and execution skills, with experience managing both intimate executive programs and larger conferences, roadshows, or customer events.
- Collaborative and low-ego, with experience working alongside a peer to divide a large portfolio, make tradeoffs, share context, and step into each other's programs when needed.
- Excellent relationship builder who can engage senior executives, customers, prospects, Sales teams, vendors, and cross-functional partners with equal ease.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling event narratives, executive briefs, and field campaign plans.
- Analytically rigorous, with experience setting targets, managing budgets, working with CRM data, and reporting sourced and influenced pipeline.
- Highly organized, resourceful, and calm under pressure, with the judgment to solve problems quickly when plans change on site.
- Willingness to travel frequently for event management and field activations.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Render is seeking a foundational Account Manager to build and nurture relationships with our fastest growing and highest potential customers. Our product-led growth model has attracted a significant number of high-growth companies who have scaled their usage organically, and as they grow, it's critical that we evolve from just a self-service solution into a proactive business partner. This role is pivotal in demonstrating Render's long-term value and scalability, owning the commercial health of the relationship, and ensuring our customers achieve their business objectives on our platform.
As the primary business owner for a portfolio of Render's most important customers, you will be responsible for understanding their strategic goals, leading commercial conversations, and driving adoption and expansion. You will proactively identify and mitigate churn risks by reinforcing our value proposition against alternatives managed platform services and hyperscalers. Working in close partnership with our Customer Engineers, you will provide a holistic experience that combines deep technical guidance, knowledge/best practices sharing and ultimately securing our position as a long-term partner in their success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage a large book of ~300 commercial accounts using a 1-to-many, programmatic engagement model—delivering consistent value at scale through proactive outreach and enablement.
- Build and run scalable programs that drive adoption and expansion (e.g., onboarding journeys, product education series, lifecycle campaigns, webinars/office hours, and targeted nurture motions).
- Proactively share best practices, playbooks, and technical guidance in partnership with Customer Engineers—helping customers succeed through self-serve resources and repeatable workflows.
- Identify and prioritize accounts for targeted, higher-touch interventions using health signals and product usage data; mitigate churn risks through timely education and clear next steps.
- Own and execute contracting motions across your book, including renewals, annualization/commit motions, and standard commercial expansion—working closely with Sales, RevOps, and Legal to remove friction.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Support to surface customer insights and influence the programs, content, and product improvements that will most impact scaled customers.
- Track and report on program performance (adoption, retention, renewal/commit conversion, expansion) and continuously iterate based on results.
- Represent Render with authenticity, curiosity, and technical credibility in every customer interaction.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Has 5+ years of proven experience in a customer-facing role such as Account Management or Customer Success, preferably in the cloud infrastructure or developer tooling space.
- Possesses a commercial mindset with a track record of successfully managing renewals, identifying expansion opportunities, and negotiating contracts
- Is familiar with using product usage data or analytics to identify customer health risks and expansion opportunities.
- Is a strategic thinker who can connect the dots between a customer's technical challenges and their overarching business goals.
- Excels at building rapport and trust with a wide range of stakeholders from senior engineers to C-level executives.
- Is savvy with product-led growth (PLG) environments and understands how to engage customers who initially adopted a product through a self-service motion.
- Is a builder who thrives in ambiguity. You are energized by the opportunity to shape a new function and create processes, not frustrated by the lack of standardized playbooks.
- Has a strong sense of empathy and a genuine passion for helping developers and engineering teams succeed.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Background at high-performing developer-facing hyper growth tech companies.
- Experience with hyperscalers and / or cloud platform solutions.
- Experience helping customers migrate from hyperscalers to managed platform solutions.
- Experience as a founding or early member of an Account Management or Customer Success team, with a demonstrated ability to help build playbooks and processes from the ground up.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an AI Solutions Strategist, you will sit at the intersection of customers, AI delivery, and Ramp’s core product teams. You will partner with enterprise/strategic customers to deeply understand their finance workflows—especially corporate finance and controllership priorities like close, controls, and spend governance—identify high-impact opportunities for AI and automation, and translate those needs into clear problem statements, solution designs, and actionable feedback for Ramp’s Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams.
This role is for someone who can listen carefully, structure ambiguity, and turn on-the-ground learnings into scalable solutions. This role required high proactivity and bias to action.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Discover and diagnose customer needs. Run stakeholder interviews and workflow deep dives with Finance, Procurement, AP, and IT teams. Map end-to-end processes and identify the underlying drivers behind pain points — risk, cost, cycle time, compliance, exception volume, and operational complexity.
- Translate needs into solution requirements. Turn qualitative input into crisp artifacts: problem statements, success metrics, constraints, acceptance criteria, and deployment plans. Balance speed, safety, and scalability across MVPs, iterations, and broader rollouts.
- Partner with technical teams to implement AI workflows. Work closely with Ramp engineers and AI builders to design and ship solutions that meet real customer workflows. Specify data inputs, integrations, governance needs, policy rules, auditability requirements, and edge cases.
- Drive feedback loops into Ramp's product. Synthesize learnings across customers into reusable patterns and product opportunities. Write high-signal briefs for Product and Engineering that explain what customers need, why it matters, and what should be built next.
- Communicate impact and guide executives. Present status, outcomes, and recommendations to customer operators, executives, and internal stakeholders. Quantify impact through time saved, error reduction, improved compliance, faster close, and other business outcomes.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Strong customer empathy and the ability to earn trust quickly with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent problem framing: you can turn messy workflows into clear systems and priorities.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and iterating quickly while keeping quality high.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing (briefs, requirements, postmortems) and verbally (workshops, exec readouts).
- A builder mindset: you like shipping, learning, and improving the system.
- Experience in solutions, implementation, product strategy, consulting, or technical program management.
- Strong grounding in corporate finance / controllership workflows, including accounting close, spend governance/controls, budgeting, procurement, and AP operations.
- Experience translating finance requirements into system design and configuration (e.g., ERP/accounting, procurement, expense management, payments), including integrations, data mapping, and controls.
- Ability to partner with finance system owners/admins to drive change management, testing (UAT), and successful rollouts.
- Familiarity with finance operations workflows (AP, procurement, expenses, cards, accounting close).
- Exposure to AI-enabled products, automation, or applied ML (you do not need to be an ML engineer).
- Basic comfort with data concepts and systems integration (APIs, ETL, SQL, spreadsheets, data quality).
WORKING STYLE
We collaborate best when we’re close to the work and close to each other. This role is hybrid in New York, with time in-office to partner tightly with product and engineering teams. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will build and run the operating systems that help Juno ship reliably and support customers as we scale. On the product operations side, you will turn product decisions into clear operating plans, maintain visibility in Linear, coordinate customer testing and launch readiness, keep commitments and risks visible, and make sure product changes are communicated clearly.
You will partner closely with product and engineering to make decisions executable, keep work organized, surface gaps and dependencies, and ensure the team follows through on what it has committed to ship.
On the customer support side, you will be the first line of defense when customers encounter product issues. You will triage and investigate problems, coordinate the right response, and redirect travel-service questions to our travel partners. Because you sit close to both the product process and the customer, you will turn recurring friction into clear insights, accountable follow-up, and better operating systems.
Success means Juno ships through a lightweight and dependable process, customers understand what changed, risks and commitments do not get lost, recurring issues reach the right owners, and support demand does not grow one-for-one with the business.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide holistic support through the entire launch lifecycle across program management, customer testing, launch readiness, change management, customer communication, and post-launch iteration. Own and improve Juno's shipping process so the right reviews, testing, documentation, internal enablement, and customer updates happen at the right time.
- Maintain Linear as a reliable operating system for projects, owners, milestones, dependencies, status, and product decisions. Surface risks early and follow through until they are resolved.
- Serve as the first line of defense for product-related customer issues across email and chat, join customer calls when needed, manage escalations to resolution, and route travel-service questions to the right partner.
- Be the voice of the customer in product decisions. Analyze support trends and customer feedback, diagnose recurring friction, size the problems you find, and translate messy input into clear findings, recommended actions, prioritization input, and accountable follow-up for product and engineering.
- Build AI-powered workflows, automations, knowledge systems, and self-service experiences that improve the quality and speed of product operations and customer support.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 3+ years of experience in product operations, program management, customer experience, technical support, consulting, or another customer-facing analytical role in a fast-moving software company.
- You are highly process-oriented. You can turn ambiguous cross-functional work into clear owners, milestones, decisions, and next steps without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
- You actively use AI to get real work done and can show us what you have automated, analyzed, or built.
- You can use qualitative feedback and data to identify patterns, diagnose root causes, size problems, and measure whether a product or operational fix reduced customer friction.
- You write with precision and empathy. You can explain a complicated product change or technical issue clearly, without jargon or filler.
- You run toward ownership, move quickly without losing the details, and can drive clarity across product, engineering, customer success, customers, and external partners.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, debugging, or data analysis, even if you do not write production code.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, travel, fintech, or another operationally complex product.

Staff Software Engineer, Adaptive Experiences Platform
Waterloo, ON
About the Role
The DTIS organization is building the next generation of adaptive experiences for PlayStation. Our vision is to make every customer touchpoint more relevant, useful, and joyful by combining reusable experience capabilities with personalization, merchandising, experimentation, and intelligent decisioning.
We are looking for a
Staff Software Engineer
to help lead the evolution of our Dynamic Experience Management platform, allowing teams to create and optimize experiences without requiring bespoke implementation for every client, iterating rapidly.
You will be a hands-on technical leader working across the experience stack. You will also shape the architecture needed to extend capabilities beyond PS5, across web, mobile, and other PlayStation devices. This is an opportunity to define foundational technology that will change how PlayStation builds, delivers, experiments with, and learns from customer experiences at scale.
Responsibilities
Define and drive the technical direction for our experiences client SDK, translating the adaptive-experiences vision into an incremental, production-ready architecture.
Design and evolve the platform-independent composition layer, public TypeScript APIs, versioned schemas, content adapters, component model, data bindings, and platform renderer contracts.
Build reusable experience primitives and native rendering capabilities that support responsive layouts, personalization, experimentation, telemetry, accessibility, localization, and platform-specific interaction models.
Establish safe coexistence and migration patterns, including backward compatibility, capability negotiation, validation, feature flags, fallbacks, rollback, and observability.
Profile and optimize bundle size, startup and time-to-interactive performance, memory usage, rendering behavior, and runtime reliability on resource-constrained client platforms.
Improve developer experience through clear interfaces, reference integrations, test harnesses, preview and debugging tools, automated compatibility testing, and high-quality documentation.
Help establish governed, agent-assisted authoring and validation workflows that can translate design and business intent into trusted artifacts, supported by policy checks and evaluation suites.
Partner with client, design system, merchandising, content, personalization, experimentation, and platform service teams to align contracts and deliver end-to-end capabilities.
Provide technical leadership across team boundaries, mentor engineers, make sound trade-offs in ambiguous problem spaces, and communicate architecture and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience designing and delivering production client platforms, SDKs, frameworks, or shared libraries.
Expert-level proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript and strong experience with React, React Native, or a comparable component-based client framework.
Strong software architecture and API design skills, including modularity, dependency management, versioning, backward compatibility, and incremental migration of large production systems.
Experience building data-driven or server-driven user interfaces, reusable component systems, or runtime composition frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and improve client performance and reliability using profiling, telemetry, automated testing, and production observability.
Experience designing for more than one client environment, such as console, mobile, web, TV, or embedded platforms, with a practical understanding of platform-specific constraints.
Proven track record of solving ambiguous, cross-functional problems with minimal direction and driving alignment without relying on formal authority.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document architecture and explain complex technical decisions clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with console development, living-room interfaces, focus-based navigation, or performance-constrained native clients.
Experience with schema-backed declarative UI, domain-specific languages, JSON Schema, component expansion, data binding, hydration, or client-side rendering engines.
Experience building or integrating client SDKs, content management or merchandising systems, personalization platforms, experimentation frameworks, or design systems.
Experience migrating a large client application away from a legacy rendering or content-delivery framework using staged rollout, compatibility layers, and measurable exit criteria.
Experience developing platform adapters or renderers for iOS, Android, web, or other native client environments.
Familiarity with content and layout separation, runtime content sources, telemetry provenance, accessibility, localization, and safe fallback behavior.
Experience with developer tooling, visual preview systems, contract testing, schema validation, or automated cross-platform regression testing.
Experience applying generative AI or agentic workflows to software or content creation, including evaluation, governance, and deterministic output constraints.
A track record of technical leadership and mentoring across multiple teams.
Additional Skills
Motivated self-starter who combines long-term architectural thinking with pragmatic, incremental delivery.
Customer-focused and attentive to developer experience, operational usability, and measurable product outcomes.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with partners across product, design, engineering, and operations.

About the role
As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across your team and adjacent teams, solving the highest-scope and most complex problems in your area. You will lead large, cross-cutting backend initiatives, drive our modular architecture strategy, and define the standards that let teams move faster without compromising quality, security, reliability, or operability.
This is a technical leadership role that combines deep backend expertise, systems judgment, product judgment, and influence across organizational boundaries. You will work with Product, Frontend, Infrastructure, Security, Data, Engineering Managers, and engineers across product groups, bringing subject matter expertise, and you will do it without relying on formal authority.
Why you’ll love this role
Leverage:
Your work multiplies across teams. The platforms, standards, and architectural decisions you lead determine how quickly everyone else can ship.
Genuinely Hard Problems:
You’ll lead the modernization of a large monolith toward modular, reusable, appropriately independent systems — at the scale of a platform used by millions of users.
Influence Without Bureaucracy:
You’ll shape technical direction across teams through clear written proposals and decision records, and partner with Product and Engineering leadership on platform roadmap and investment trade-offs.
Frontier AI Work:
You’ll lead adoption of AI-assisted and agentic engineering workflows and define the review, quality, security, and privacy guardrails that make them safe to rely on.
Autonomy:
You’ll thrive in our remote-first, asynchronous organization, where clear written communication and self-direction are the pillars of success.
What you’ll do
Lead Cross-Cutting Initiatives:
Lead the technical design and delivery of large backend initiatives that span teams, and identify and remove systemic bottlenecks across product and infrastructure groups.
Own Architecture Strategy:
Drive modular backend, service, data, and platform architecture. Lead modernization of the monolith and legacy backends toward modular, reusable, and appropriately independently operated systems — while preventing fragmentation and service sprawl.
Set the Standards:
Define and improve standards for APIs, contracts, compatibility, schema evolution, testing, security, performance, observability, operability, and maintainability — plus the build, test, deploy, release, rollback, and production-readiness practices needed to operate modular features safely.
Establish Shared Patterns:
Create the patterns for dependency management, data ownership, eventing, failure isolation, service maturity, and operational documentation. Establish Go service patterns and Kubernetes operating practices where they matter to our production estate, and guide Rust adoption where it solves a real systems, security, performance, or supply-chain problem.
Own What You Build in Production:
Take part in on-call and incident response for the systems your teams own, act as a technical escalation point during complex incidents, and turn what you learn into architectural and operational improvements that prevent recurrence.
Influence and Partner:
Shape technical direction across teams without formal authority, and partner with Product and Engineering leadership on platform-level roadmap decisions and investment trade-offs.
Grow Engineers:
Mentor Senior and Intermediate engineers, shepherd technical debt reduction and reusable patterns that improve throughput, and raise the technical capability of the wider team.
Lead AI Adoption:
Lead team-level adoption of AI-assisted and agentic workflows, including the quality, security, privacy, and operational guardrails, and help engineers direct, validate, reject, and course-correct agent output.
What you’ll bring
Cross-Team Technical Leadership:
A sustained record of technical leadership across more than one team or a broad product area.
Deep Architecture Experience:
Deep backend architecture and production experience in complex applications, services, or platforms, including scaling or governing APIs, service platforms, data systems, modular monoliths, or shared backend components.
Modularization in Production:
Experience modernizing a monolith or legacy backend architecture in production, and with modular architecture such as bounded contexts, package encapsulation, ports and adapters, service extraction, event-driven boundaries, or an equivalent approach.
Influence Without Authority:
A strong ability to create alignment through clear written proposals and decision records, so decisions are documented, understood, and adopted without constant escalation.
Product Judgment:
The ability to balance customer outcomes, delivery speed, technical health, reliability, and long-term platform investment.
Mentorship:
Experience mentoring engineers and shaping standards through code review, documentation, and example.
Agentic AI Leadership:
Production experience with AI-assisted or agentic engineering workflows, including the ability to evaluate and improve how a team adopts them.
Helpful experience
Go services and APIs at scale.
Kubernetes and cloud-native operations, including deployment, scaling, observability, rollback, and production readiness.
Rust adoption or production ownership for systems, security, performance, or platform components.
Ruby/Rails modularization and large-monolith modernization.
PostgreSQL scaling, data partitioning, queues, messaging, or distributed systems.
Security-sensitive product or software supply chain engineering.
Experience across SaaS, single-tenant, self-managed, or air-gapped deployment constraints.

We’re seeking a hands-on Contract Accountant to support recurring close and day-to-day operational accounting for these costs.
The contractor will translate contract terms, pricing, delivery, usage, invoices, and operational data into accurate accruals, true-ups, journal-entry support, reconciliations, and variance explanations. This role works closely with Compute & Infrastructure Accounting, Technical Accounting, Procurement, Strategic Finance, Data Engineering, and external vendors to resolve exceptions and keep accounting outputs timely, complete, and audit-ready. The contractor will use approved AI tools to reduce manual effort, strengthen analysis, improve documentation, and create scalable operating leverage.
This role does not make final accounting conclusions or approve journals, payments, vendors, contracts, or access; it does not negotiate contracts or commit company funds. Success is measured by accurate and timely close deliverables, well-supported reconciliations, prompt exception resolution, dependable cross-functional communication, and adherence to established controls.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Close and Operational Accounting
- Prepare and support assigned month-end and quarter-end close activities, including accruals, true-ups, journal entries, reconciliations, rollforwards, balance-sheet substantiation, and flux or variance analysis.
- Prepare journal-entry support and submissions, including account and cost-center coding; monitor approval, posting, and rejection status and coordinate timely follow-up with authorized employees.
- Perform vendor- and contract-level reconciliations, monitor actuals against accruals, resolve differences, and support recurring management reporting.
- Support lease, fixed-asset, construction-in-progress, and related infrastructure accounting as assigned, including data capture, schedule maintenance, modifications, and period-end entries.
Contract, Invoice, and Data Validation
- Maintain complete and accurate contract and pricing records across new agreements, amendments, credits, delivery or drawdown changes, extensions, and terminations.
- Translate commercial terms into accounting inputs and operating workflows and ensure relevant changes are reflected in recurring accounting processes.
- Validate vendor invoices and operational data against rates, usage, commitments, delivery, resource attributes, and accounting mappings.
- Investigate exceptions, document root causes and resolutions, track open items and bottlenecks, and coordinate follow-up through completion.
Controls, Audit, and Issue Resolution
- Follow established accounting policies, standard operating procedures, close calendars, review requirements, and approval workflows.
- Execute control procedures over source data and workpapers, including completeness and accuracy checks, evidence retention, and reviewer-ready documentation.
- Respond to audit and control requests by assembling tie-outs, schedules, explanations, and source evidence.
- Use company information only through approved systems and devices, follow least-privilege and security requirements, and promptly escalate suspected data, security, or access issues.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with Compute & Infrastructure Accounting, Technical Accounting, Procurement, Strategic Finance, Finance Systems, Data, Engineering, and external vendors to resolve accounting and operational blockers.
- Communicate requirements, status, outstanding items, and accounting implications clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Escalate unusual contracts, accounting judgments, control exceptions, or access requests with clear context and recommended next steps.
Process Discipline and Continuous Improvement
- Identify recurring data-quality issues, process delays, and control gaps, and surface trends and recommended improvements to the appropriate team lead.
- Write clear requirements, test system or process changes, and validate downstream accounting outputs before operational use.
- Improve recurring workflows through standardization, documentation, automation, and tooling; maintain clear procedures and handoffs.
- Use approved AI-enabled tools responsibly to reduce manual effort, strengthen analysis and documentation, and support scalable and agentic workflows while following data-security and review requirements.
- Help maintain consistent execution as systems, accounting requirements, and workflows evolve.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Progressive experience in accounting, audit, advisory, or a related finance function, including hands-on operational accounting.
- Strong month-end and quarter-end close experience involving accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and workpaper preparation.
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls, with the judgment to recognize and escalate matters requiring technical accounting review.
- Experience interpreting contracts, invoices, and large operational datasets and translating them into accurate accounting outcomes.
- Advanced spreadsheet and data-analysis skills and experience using an ERP or comparable finance system.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to reduce manual effort, strengthen analysis, improve documentation, and create scalable operating leverage.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, clear documentation habits, and the ability to independently manage high-volume, deadline-driven work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively across Finance, Procurement, Engineering, external vendors, and time zones.
PREFERRED
- Operational accounting experience in a technology, cloud-computing, or infrastructure environment.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion and lease-accounting, fixed-asset, or similar finance systems.
- CPA, CA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Exposure to cloud and compute costs, lease accounting, fixed assets, construction in progress, or related infrastructure arrangements.
- Familiarity with SQL, GitHub, issue-tracking tools, or similar technical tools used to investigate data and process issues.

This position sits within Ramp’s Channel team and reports to Partner Consulting. In this role, you’ll build and scale Ramp’s long-term System Integrator (SI)-led implementation program. You’ll enable a broad ecosystem of implementation partners to support a meaningful volume of Ramp-referred customers, deliver high-quality implementations, and extend the capacity of Ramp’s Customer Success organization.
Ramp’s current SI pilot is the starting point - not the end state. You’ll translate the pilot’s learnings into the operating model, technical readiness, commercial foundations, and quality controls required to scale responsibly from an initial cohort to a broad network of partners across products, ERP ecosystems, and geographies.
You’ll be Ramp’s technical and programmatic owner for SI delivery: enabling partners to implement Ramp successfully, defining clear scope and certification standards, measuring implementation quality and customer outcomes, and turning field learnings into improvements across product, enablement, and partner strategy.
This is a senior IC role, not a people-management role. You’ll need equal credibility in technical implementation conversations and commercial partner-program design, working closely with Channel Partner Managers, Solutions, Customer Success, Product, Product Operations, Accounting Integrations, Legal, Security, and Finance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and scale the SI operating model, including partner segmentation, certification tiers, service packages, implementation methodology, scope boundaries, escalation paths, quality standards, and performance management.
- Own partner readiness and technical enablement across Ramp configuration, ERP integrations, data migration, testing, cutover, and customer change management - defining what partners can deliver independently, when Ramp co-delivery is required, and what remains out of scope.
- Serve as the first-line technical strategist for SI partners: resolve standard implementation and integration questions, orchestrate specialist support for true exceptions, and convert recurring issues into scalable playbooks, training, or product feedback.
- Establish the delivery-quality and performance system for the program, including implementation reviews, certification gates, QBRs, customer feedback loops, remediation plans, and reporting on time-to-live, activation, CSAT, rework, capacity, cost-to-serve, and partner-sourced or partner-influenced pipeline.
- Design the commercial and capacity model in partnership with Channel and Finance, including fixed fees, milestone-based payouts, accelerators, partner capacity commitments, joint business planning, and the program economics required to scale sustainably.
- Lead responsible program expansion across new products, ERP ecosystems, and geographies; set readiness gates for complex offerings such as Procurement, and influence Product, Product Operations, Product Marketing, and Accounting Integrations using structured field feedback.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Significant senior-level experience scaling an implementation, services, or partner-delivery motion from pilot through repeatable multi-partner execution.
- Experience in a partner-ecosystem-dependent technology business, such as ERP, accounting, finance operations, procurement, or enterprise SaaS or at a systems integrator/consulting firm that implements those platforms.
- Demonstrated ownership of implementation quality and customer outcomes, including scope control, partner certification, delivery QA, and escalation governance.
- Technical fluency to lead credible conversations about integrations, configuration, data migration, ERP workflows, and implementation design; engineering depth is not required, but sound judgment on when to engage specialists is.
- Commercial judgment to design partner packages, incentives, capacity commitments, payout structures, and guardrails that protect customer outcomes and program economics.
- Ability to build 0-to-1 operating mechanisms and trusted senior relationships across a diverse partner ecosystem - from specialized regional SIs to global strategic consultancies - including the confidence to challenge partners and internal stakeholders when delivery readiness is insufficient.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience building or scaling a white-label, staff-augmentation, or outcome-based services model.
- Experience with Card, Bill Pay, Procurement, AP automation, ERP integrations, multi-entity environments, or global finance operations.
- Experience expanding an SI/channel program across North America and international markets.
- Prior 0-to-1 partner-program or services-program experience.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Establish the SI operating model, including partner readiness, certification, service packages, quality standards, escalation paths, and reporting.
- Enable existing partners to deliver the supported scope with greater independence, predictable quality, and a commercial model tied to verified milestones and customer outcomes.
- Publish a data-backed expansion plan across products, ERP ecosystems, and regions, with clear readiness gates for complex offerings such as Procurement.

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE ROLE
As a member of the EMEA Talent Acquisition team focused on Corporate and Go-To-Market hiring, you will be instrumental in building and scaling Mistral's EMEA-based teams across both corporate functions and revenue-generating roles. Joining early means you'll help shape our recruitment strategy and operations, partnering closely with leaders across Corporate functions (Finance, Legal, People, Operations, Marketing, Communications) and GTM functions (Sales, Pre-Sales/Solutions, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations). Your work will directly influence Mistral's commercial and operational success by ensuring we find and engage exceptional operators who will drive Mistral's growth across the EMEA region. In this role, you'll also foster a strong candidate experience and help establish recruiting best practices as we expand across multiple EMEA markets.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
STAKEHOLDER PARTNERSHIP
- Partner deeply with Corporate and GTM leaders — from CRO and VP Sales to Finance, Legal, and People leadership — to understand hiring needs, define role specs, and identify the right talent across multiple EMEA markets.
- Own full-cycle recruitment across Corporate and GTM functions: Sales, Finance, Legal, People/HR, Marketing, and Communications roles.
- Advise hiring managers on market mapping, leveling, comp positioning, and the competitive landscape for EMEA talent, accounting for local market nuances, benchmarking, and statutory differences across countries.
- Translate the nuances of each role into compelling, accurate, and locally relevant candidate outreach.
END-TO-END RECRUITMENT
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing to close, operating with autonomy on complex, high-volume roles across Corporate and GTM.
- Source passive and active candidates across EMEA talent pools, particularly in AI/ML, open-source software, enterprise infrastructure, and regional corporate markets.
- Conduct intake and calibration sessions with hiring managers to align on ideal candidate profiles and stage expectations.
- Drive efficient, high-conversion pipelines and close candidates in a fiercely competitive market for senior talent across multiple geographies and languages.
- Navigate cross-border hiring complexity, including relocation, remote-friendly offers, and country-specific employment frameworks.
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE & SELLING MISTRAL
- Guide candidates through the hiring process with clear communication and a compelling narrative about Mistral's mission, culture, and trajectory.
- Articulate Mistral's positioning in the AI landscape — frontier models, open-weight philosophy, and enterprise credibility — to differentiate us against better-known competitors.
- Provide candidates with real insight into our GTM motion, corporate operations, growth plans, and the specific impact of their role.
- Deliver a high-quality, respectful candidate experience at every stage, regardless of outcome.
RECRUITING OPERATIONS & DATA-DRIVEN IMPROVEMENT
- Develop and refine recruiting processes, tools, and documentation to improve outcomes and efficiency.
- Use data to diagnose pipeline issues (e.g., drop-off at specific stages, time-to-fill by role, offer acceptance rates) and propose targeted solutions.
- Build and maintain market maps, competitive intel, and talent pools for key EMEA Corporate and GTM segments.
- Standardize interview rubrics, scorecards, and debrief practices across EMEA hiring teams, while respecting local market and language differences.
RAISING THE BAR
- Collaborate with Corporate and GTM leadership and the broader Talent team to continuously elevate our hiring standards.
- Contribute to defining and evolving our EMEA talent acquisition strategy as we scale from early team to a mature, multi-region organization.
- Partner on employer-brand and outbound sourcing initiatives that position Mistral as a destination for top Corporate and GTM talent in EMEA.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 6+ years of recruiting experience, including 2+ years in a startup or high-growth B2B SaaS/infrastructure company, with a focus on Corporate functions and/or Sales/GTM roles.
- Demonstrated ability to independently hire across the full GTM stack — from Enterprise AE’s to GTM leadership — as well as key Corporate functions (Finance, Legal, People, Marketing, Operations).
- Deep network and sourcing expertise in EMEA talent markets, particularly in AI/ML, open-source, developer tools, or enterprise software.
- Track record of hiring in competitive, candidate-scarce markets where candidates have multiple offers, including cross-border and multi-language hiring.
- Experience working across multiple EMEA markets and comfort with country-specific comp, benefits, and employment nuance.
- Willingness to work on other roles as needs come up.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and switching between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle shifting priorities across a high-volume hiring slate spanning two function families.
- Professional experience with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby.
- Familiarity with the AI/ML landscape and the ability to credibly discuss frontier model capabilities with technical GTM and corporate candidates.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.
