Experience applying AI to scale the data science workflow.

Azul == Java. As the only company focused 100% on Java, Azul is building the Java platform for the modern cloud enterprise. We are reimagining how customers use Java, bringing them the tools and insight they need to deliver faster, more performant, more dependable, and less expensive Java services. It requires experts in many areas — hardcore experts in Java VM internals, application developers with deep knowledge of Java, backend and frontend developers, performance engineers, etc. Come join one of the most influential members of the Java and OpenJDK community and help influence the future of Java.
About the Product
Azul Optimizer Hub (OptHub) is a set of services external to the JVM within Azul Platform Prime that run in your cloud or on-premises environment. It consists of two major functions:
Cloud Native Compiler separates the heavy lifting of compiling bytecode to optimized machine code from the actual running of Java applications.
ReadyNow Orchestrator ensures consistent responsiveness and performance even as instances are brought up and down, and during critical times like a retail rush, start of the gaming day, or market open.
Your Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Optimizer Hub team, you will design and build the server-side services that sit at the heart of our JVM performance platform. You will work closely with product managers, performance engineers, and JVM experts to deliver high-quality, scalable backend components.
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java services including protocols, APIs, data storage, and real-time optimization engines.
Build and evolve server-side OptHub components that communicate with the JVM at scale across cloud and on-premises environments.
Debug complex distributed systems issues with limited diagnostic data and under performance constraints.
Design and implement observability, profiling, and diagnostic tooling to support both internal development and customer-facing deployments.
Drive performance analysis and improvement: create benchmarks, interpret profiler output, and act on findings.
Participate in design discussions and code reviews, raising the bar for the whole team.
Key Requirements
5+ years of strong professional Java development experience, with a focus on backend and server-side systems.
Deep understanding of JVM internals: memory management, garbage collection, JIT compilation, and threading.
Experience building and operating distributed systems and microservices in production.
Proficiency with concurrency, low-latency design, and performance optimization techniques in Java.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Ability to design clean APIs and protocols; comfort working close to the metal when needed.
Strong debugging skills — you can track down hard-to-reproduce production issues with limited data.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with JVM-adjacent technologies: JVM agents, JVMTI, bytecode manipulation (ASM, Javassist), or OpenJDK internals.
Background in performance engineering, profilers (async-profiler, JFR, YourKit), or runtime observability.
Experience with gRPC, Protocol Buffers,
WebSockets
or high-throughput messaging systems.
Experience with process metrics, system observability and CI/CD pipelines.
Prior work in a Java platform, middleware, or infrastructure product company.
We Offer
Referral Program — help us grow with great people.
Premium IT equipment — MacBook Pro or hardware of your choice.
5 weeks of holidays + 5 sick days.
Flexible working hours; full remote possible.
Prague city center offices.
Work alongside top experts worldwide contributing to the Java ecosystem.

You'll identify data inconsistencies, diagnose root causes, propose solutions, and transform complex data into insights that drive customer engagement and revenue growth.

Salesforce Data Cloud (D360)
- Validate and monitor customer data quality, identity resolution, attributes, audiences, and profile unification.
- Investigate discrepancies in customer counts, audience composition, campaign targeting, and reporting outputs.
- Identify data flaws, system gaps, and process inefficiencies impacting business performance.
- Work with Global Engineering, Data, and Product teams to define and implement corrective actions.

CRM & customer analytics
- Analyze customer behavior, lifecycle performance, engagement, retention, and purchase trends.
- Develop audience, segmentation, affinity, and customer value analyses to support CRM strategy.
- Support customer personalization initiatives through actionable insights and recommendations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of CRM campaigns and customer journeys.
Adobe Analytics & digital insights
- Analyze website and digital customer behavior using Adobe Analytics.
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion, engagement, and customer experience.
- Partner with E-commerce and Product teams to understand customer journey performance and friction points.
- Connect on-site behavior with CRM engagement and revenue outcomes.
Reporting & visualization
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards used by CRM, Marketing, Product, and E-commerce stakeholders.
- Develop automated reporting solutions to reduce manual effort.
- Ensure data consistency across reporting platforms.
- Present insights through clear and compelling visualizations tailored to different audiences.
Stakeholder management
- Partner closely with CRM, E-commerce, Product, Digital, Data Engineering, and Commercial teams.
- Translate complex technical findings into business-friendly recommendations.
- Facilitate discussions between business and technical stakeholders to align on priorities and solutions.
- Influence decision-making through data-driven storytelling and clear communication.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Advanced hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (D360) — customer data models, identity resolution, segmentation, and audience creation.
- Proven experience troubleshooting and investigating data quality issues at scale.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in Tableau — dashboard creation and data visualization best practices.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale customer datasets.
- Experience working with data warehouses such as Snowflake.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills — able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable challenging assumptions, raising data quality concerns, and influencing business decisions through data-backed recommendations.
When you join Solvd, you'll…
- Shape real-world AI-driven projects across key industries, working with clients from startup innovation to enterprise transformation.
- Be part of a global team with equal opportunities for collaboration across continents and cultures.
- Thrive in an inclusive environment that prioritizes continuous learning, innovation, and ethical AI standards.
Ready to make an impact?
If you're excited to build things that matter, champion responsible AI, and grow with some of the industry’s sharpest minds. Apply today and let’s innovate together.

Solvd Inc. is a rapidly growing AI-native consulting and technology services firm delivering enterprise transformation across cloud, data, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. We work with industry-leading organizations to design, build, and operationalize technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Following the acquisition of Tooploox, a premier AI and product development company, Solvd now offers true end-to-end delivery—from strategic advisory and solution design to custom AI development and enterprise-scale implementation. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to replace a manual, per-customer release process with real CI/CD, and to build the infrastructure and observability layer underneath a platform migration moving from a single-tenant-built, multi-tenant-operated model to a genuinely self-serve one.
This role is the reason the other roles on this engagement can move fast. Right now, standing up a new customer means someone manually editing a spreadsheet of build variables, committing, and running a pipeline by hand. You're the one who turns that into something that doesn't need a person in the loop.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Redesign the current manual, per-customer release pipeline into an automated, parameterized CI/CD pipeline that a provisioning event can trigger directly — no manual pipeline run or spreadsheet edit required.
- Build and operate secrets-management infrastructure — vaulting, per-tenant scoping, rotation schedules — that the backend credential-issuance service runs on top of.
- Own infrastructure-as-code for all services being built as part of this migration — provisioning APIs, configuration services, admin console — across dev, staging, and production environments, with consistent and reproducible builds.
- Build monitoring and alerting for a distributed, endpoint-heavy system with known failure modes — stale proxy detection, retry storms, unbounded local queue growth — turning silent failures into pages before customers report them.
- Maintain build and release tooling for multi-platform client software, making platform-specific configuration differences visible and manageable rather than a source of drift.
- Tighten access controls, logging, and distribution for production configuration tooling as part of the broader security posture of the release process.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years in a DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE role with real ownership of a CI/CD pipeline for a production system — not just consuming someone else's pipeline.
- Hands-on experience with secrets management — designing rotation schedules and per-tenant/per-environment scoping, not just storing static values.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or equivalent for standing up and managing multiple environments consistently.
- Experience building observability — metrics, logging, alerting — for distributed systems with many independent, loosely-connected clients.
- Comfortable working with multi-platform build pipelines across at least two operating systems, including packaging and signing requirements.
- Security-conscious by default — this role directly replaces a process that bakes shared secrets into distributed software; access control needs to be a standing question, not an afterthought.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience turning a manual, human-run release process into a fully automated one as a scoped project — not just incremental pipeline improvements.
- Experience operating infrastructure for a self-serve, marketplace-distributed SaaS product.
- Familiarity with cloud data platform deployment models — warehouse-adjacent compute or native application distribution.

Following the acquisition of Tooploox, a premier AI and product development company, Solvd now offers true end-to-end delivery—from strategic advisory and solution design to custom AI development and enterprise-scale implementation. Our capability centers combine deep technical expertise, proven delivery methodologies, and sector-specific knowledge to address complex business challenges quickly and effectively.
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a team migrating a production SaaS data platform off a legacy ETL/streaming-based pipeline and onto a Snowflake Native Application built for self-serve distribution and per-tenant data isolation.
This isn't a greenfield build — it's a migration with real legacy constraints. You'll be working from an existing production system that has already been audited in detail, and turning those findings into a working Snowflake-native data platform. You should be comfortable reading someone else's architecture, spotting where it breaks down at scale or under multi-tenant isolation requirements, and redesigning around it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Re-architect ingestion — design and build the replacement for the current endpoint-to-cloud-function-to-streaming-queue-to-ETL-to-warehouse path, moving ingestion natively into each customer's own Snowflake account so the platform's data-sovereignty story is true end to end.
- Migrate legacy ETL logic — translate existing transformation logic covering activity, meeting/event, network context, and system metadata data into Snowflake-native pipelines using the right combination of native transformation tooling and orchestration.
- Design for per-tenant isolation — build data models and pipeline logic that hold up under a cross-account, multi-tenant distribution model, with tenant boundaries addressed explicitly at the schema, pipeline, and secret-management level.
- Work through known technical debt — shared credentials baked into client-side builds, build-time-only configuration with no live tenant provisioning, inconsistent cross-platform data-capture parity — deciding case by case what gets carried forward, redesigned, or retired.
- Rebuild the platform's core data model — activity, event, network, and metadata — preserving the analytics the business depends on while moving underlying storage and processing into Snowflake.
- Validate against real production data patterns — batch sizes, sync frequencies, offline-queue backlogs — captured during discovery to ensure the new pipeline design holds up under realistic load.
- Document migration decisions clearly enough to be defended internally, to downstream customers, and through a formal marketplace review process.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years as a data engineer with hands-on Snowflake experience — native transformation and orchestration features, not just SQL.
- Real experience migrating an existing production ETL pipeline to a cloud-native target — not a from-scratch build.
- Working knowledge of streaming and event pipelines.
- Comfortable reading and reasoning about a system's security model — encryption at rest and in transit, key management, multi-tenant secret handling — well enough to flag when a proposed design reintroduces a previously identified gap.
- Familiarity with a major cloud provider's function/PaaS services, as parts of the migration will need to interoperate with the current production system during transition.
- Experience designing for multi-tenant SaaS data isolation — schema-per-tenant, row-level security, or equivalent patterns.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience building and distributing applications through a cloud data platform's own marketplace or listing model.
- Background in workforce analytics, activity monitoring, or similar behavioral/event data domains — application/window/URL activity, meeting data, network context.
- Exposure to BI tooling migration alongside an underlying data platform move.

Top-5 Company for Work-From-Anywhere Jobs
(FlexJobs, 2025).
Your main tasks will be:
Contribute to the architecture of high-load services and grow the existing C# / .NET Core codebase.
Build new product features and integrations, including the AI layer (voice, real-time, and — on the horizon — video and emotion recognition).
Design and operate async pipelines on RabbitMQ: delivery guarantees, idempotency, error handling, backpressure.
Work with MS SQL schema and queries under load: indexes, execution plans, hot-path optimization.
Hold the bar on code quality across the team: code review, testing, observability, engineering standards; influence technical decisions beyond your immediate area.
We expect from you:
5+ years of commercial C# / .NET development, including 2+ years on .NET Core in production.
Real distributed-systems and high-load experience: you can reason about throughput, latency, and fault tolerance through specific incidents from your own past, not from a textbook.
Hands-on experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ preferred; Kafka / Azure Service Bus / NATS acceptable with a high-load track record) and MS SQL Server under load.
Fluent Russian, ready to work in CET (±2) hours.
What do we offer:
REMOTE OPPORTUNITY
to work full-time;
Vacation
28 calendar days per year;
7 wellness days per year
(time off) that can be used to deal with household issues, to lie down and recover without taking sick leave;
Bonuses up to $5000
for recommending successful applicants for positions in the company;
50%
payment for professional training, international conferences, and meetings;
Corporate discount for
English lessons;
Health benefits.
According to the paychecks, if you are not eligible for corporate medical insurance, the company will compensate you with up to $ 1,000 gross per year per employee. This can be spent on self-purchase of health insurance or on doctor’s fees for yourself and close relatives (spouse, children);
Workplace organization.
The company provides all employees with an equipped workplace and all the necessary equipment (table, armchair, wifi, etc.) in our offices or co-working locations. In the other locations, the company provides reimbursement of workplace costs up to $ 1000 gross once every 3 years, according to the paychecks. This money can be spent on the rent of the co-working room, on equipping the working place at home (desk, chair, Internet, etc.) during those 3 years;
Internal gamified gratitude system:
receive bonuses from colleagues and exchange them for our merchandise, team building activities, massage certificates, etc.
