About the company
Trust Wallet is the secure, self-custody Web3 wallet that empowers people to own and control their digital assets. Whether you're new to crypto or an experienced user, Trust Wallet makes it easier, safer, and more convenient to explore Web3, securely access dApps, manage your crypto, and buy and sell digital assets, all in one place.
About the Role
We're looking for a Lead AI Engineer to own the backend and Agent systems behind our LLM-powered products. The role is end to end: you'll build the Agent workflows, define how we measure quality, keep them reliable in production, and shape where the product goes next.
This role is for someone who has shipped LLM features to real users, stayed with them after launch, and can prove with data that their changes made things better.
Job Scope:
Build and own AI backend and Agent workflows
- Design, build, and maintain multi-turn conversation systems, including context management, tool calling, knowledge retrieval (RAG), state management, and human handoff.
Drive evaluation and continuous improvement
- Define success criteria with Product, Design, and QA leads.
- Turn production failures into evaluation samples and regression tests.
- Measure the impact and side effects of every change before and after release.
Diagnose problems across the stack
- Isolate the root cause of failures: model judgment, knowledge gaps, abnormal tool responses, backend instability, or conflicting rules.
- Apply the right fix for each cause rather than defaulting to prompt tweaks.
Own production reliability
- Handle timeouts, retries, graceful degradation, async jobs, and third-party dependency failures.
- Make sure every issue is traceable through logs, every change is versioned, and every failure has a recovery path.
Shape product and technical decisions
- Give clear, reasoned positions on requirements, covering feasibility, cost, risk, and alternatives.
- Propose better approaches and break work into phased, shippable deliverables.
Communicate proactively and follow through
- Share progress, blockers, ETAs, and next checkpoints without needing to be chased.
- After launch, track real-world impact and leave clear documentation and handover materials.
Requirements:
- Production LLM/Agent experience at scale. You've built LLM or Agent features used by 10,000+ active users, and you've maintained and improved them after launch.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals. You're comfortable owning production code, APIs, data flows, and incident troubleshooting. Experience designing and implement backend services in Golang and integrate with LLMs and AI systems.
- Real evaluation discipline. You've built evaluation sets, regression suites, and production monitoring, and you can explain how you confirmed an improvement was real rather than random fluctuation.
- Ownership mindset. You make decisions, surface risks early, and don't consider a feature done until it's verified in production.
- Web3 experience. Preferably 1 year of experience in a crypto, DeFi, or Web3 company (wallet, exchange, L1/L2 protocol, or DeFi platform strongly preferred)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a global and fully remote role. You must have the right to work for the country you are based.

Apply today to join our team in building the world’s most trusted and secure crypto wallet and enable a decentralized future for everyone.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
Scientists use Claude across the life sciences, from drug discovery and research biology to clinical development and manufacturing. To support that work, Anthropic introduced the Life Sciences Verification Program (LSVP), which gives verified life science professionals access to Claude with a refined set of safeguards that is more permissive for biology-related work. The program is in beta. We're hiring a Technical Program Manager to own the program of work that expands that access and helps scale it with safety in mind.
Each expansion depends on many teams at once and no single team owns the path end to end. You'll become the single owner of that program, the person who knows what each expansion requires, where every workstream stands, what it is waiting on, and who needs to decide. This is a cross-org execution role, not a research role, and it does not require a life sciences background. LSVP is the starting point, and the scope will grow alongside Anthropic's broader work in the life sciences. Over time, more of the life sciences community can get verified access, and each new expansion takes less bespoke effort than the last.
Responsibilities
Own the program for expanding access to Anthropic's life sciences verification programs: scoping, sequencing, dependencies, and tradeoffs across safeguards, platform, and product engineering teams
Scope and drive the cross-org engineering work that each expansion requires, from new plan and account types to new platforms
Partner with the product manager to turn program goals into a sequenced plan with clear owners and dates
Drive clarity on data access, retention, and review requirements, and on the changes they require across safeguards, access, and provisioning
Drive user experience scoping across the Claude product surfaces where the program is available
Find and remove the technical blockers that keep eligible organizations from accessing life sciences capabilities
Establish the operating rhythm: a single view of workstreams, owners, dependencies, risks, and status, with planning, escalation paths, and launch coordination across orgs
Convert recurring efforts into documented, repeatable processes so that each new expansion requires less bespoke coordination
You may be a good fit if you
Have several years of experience in technical program management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional programs
Have experience coordinating across multiple engineering teams and organizations simultaneously, including safeguards, platform, and product partners
Can engage meaningfully with the engineers doing the work, from platform and access systems to product surfaces
Are highly organized and can manage multiple parallel workstreams effectively across distributed teams
Thrive in unstructured environments with a knack for bringing order to chaos and creating clarity in ambiguous situations
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority
Have worked on cloud or platform programs (preferred but not required)
Do not need a life sciences background. This is not a research role, and no life sciences experience is required
Are passionate about Anthropic's mission and interested in the challenges of bringing AI capabilities to the life sciences community safely and reliably
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$290,000
—
$365,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit
anthropic.com/careers
directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
