Location: USA - New York
From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran and dbt are building the open data infrastructure that powers AI agents you can trust.
Fivetran is looking for a Staff R&D Software Engineer to join our fast-growing Fivetran AI team. Your data stack was built for humans — but agents are the new primary data consumers, and they have fundamentally different requirements. Agents can’t intuit context; it must be explicitly codified, governed, and traceable. We’re building the governed context layer that solves this problem: Agents Schema, an open standard for storing agent-ready context directly in the customer’s own data warehouse, and Context Builder, the managed service that keeps it filled and fresh.
This role goes well beyond standard engineering. You’ll research emerging techniques in the fast-moving AI landscape and bring real product and market understanding to decide which ideas are worth pursuing — and then you’ll take what you’ve learned and ship it as production software. We’re looking for a true generalist who is willing and able to wear whatever hat the moment calls for: prototyping a new retrieval technique one week, hardening a backend service the next, then doing SRE or QA work when the team needs it. At this level, you’re expected to be a trusted expert beyond your own team — defining technical direction that other teams build on, taking high-level direction and turning it into concrete plans with a high degree of independence, and using sound judgment to decide what deserves your attention. Fivetran AI operates like a startup within Fivetran, and we need engineers who thrive on that range and ambiguity rather than staying in one lane.
Fivetran is the epitome of data-driven development — our engineering team is focused on building a world class product that:
Builds Infrastructure Agents Can Trust
— join our mission to deliver the governed context layer that AI agents depend on: accurate semantic definitions, traceable lineage, data contracts, and auditable history baked in from the start.
Embraces Open Standards
— help build portable, interoperable data infrastructure: Agents Schema, open formats (Iceberg, Delta Lake), MCP-native interfaces, and connector skills that work with any model and any compute.
Scales Without Breaking
— work to make Fivetran AI efficient at agent scale, where unit costs deflate as volume grows and context retrieval is fast, accurate, and cost-controlled.
We emphasize using no-nonsense tools and take great pride in the simplicity and effectiveness of the systems we build. Our back-end is built on Java, Python, Postgres, and Kubernetes, and our front-end is built on React and TypeScript.
This is a full-time hybrid position based out of our New York, NY office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
Technologies You’ll Use
Python, Java, SQL, dbt, LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini), vector databases, BigQuery / Snowflake / Databricks, MCP protocol, React, TypeScript, Kubernetes
What You’ll Do
Research emerging techniques in retrieval, reasoning, and agentic AI, and decide what’s actually worth pursuing for Fivetran AI’s roadmap — then convince others
Prototype new ideas quickly, then take the ones that prove out and turn them into shipped, production-grade features
Define technical direction that spans multiple teams within Fivetran AI, ensuring architecture decisions made in one area don’t create problems in another
Build and maintain both back-end and front-end systems for the Fivetran AI product — from Agents Schema pipelines to the Context Catalog UI
Drive the AISQL capability forward: natural language to SQL grounded in dbt metric definitions, executed natively against the warehouse
Take ownership of production reliability across the platform: on-call rotation, incident response, and SRE work to keep the system trustworthy at scale
Set the bar for testing and QA practices, and do hands-on QA work yourself when it matters most
Use coding agents to automate the repetitive parts of the job, freeing up time for the research and design work that needs a human
Take high-level direction from product and leadership and independently define and execute the concrete plan to get there
Mentor other engineers and raise the technical bar across the Fivetran AI team
Contribute to hiring by participating in and helping shape the interview process
Skills We’re Looking For
8+ years of programming experience across Python and/or Java, with the ability to move fluidly between back-end and front-end work
Considered a trusted expert beyond your own team, able to exert influence and define technical direction across multiple teams
Comfortable reading AI/ML research and turning promising findings into working prototypes, then production systems
Strong product and market awareness — able to judge which emerging techniques are worth building versus which are hype
Track record of taking ambiguous, high-level direction and independently defining and executing the concrete work to deliver it
Experience with SQL and data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar)
Genuine willingness to work across the full stack: research, backend, frontend, SRE, and QA, as the team’s needs demand
Writes well-structured, performant code and can dive into unfamiliar codebases to suggest improvements
Experience using coding agents or similar AI tooling to speed up day-to-day engineering work
Demonstrated ability to mentor other engineers and influence technical decisions beyond your immediate team
Thrives in a startup-like environment with shifting priorities and a high degree of ownership
Bonus Skills
Experience with LLM-powered applications — RAG pipelines, embeddings, evaluation frameworks, or agent frameworks
Familiarity with semantic layers — dbt, LookML, Sigma, or similar
Experience with the MCP (Model Context Protocol) ecosystem or building AI agent integrations
Background in site reliability engineering — monitoring, alerting, incident response
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or building data connectors
Experienced working in a cloud environment utilizing AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, or Docker
Contributions to open source AI or data projects

WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Why This Role?
We're seeking an experienced Program Manager to join Cohere's customer-facing Program Management team, with a focus on UK public sector and defence accounts. This is a highly specialised role requiring an individual who understands technical program delivery, the technical complexity of frontier AI models and the unique requirements of government and defence organisations.
You will be the critical bridge between our cutting-edge AI capabilities and the specific needs of UK Government and defence organisations. You'll navigate complex procurement processes, stringent security requirements, data sovereignty concerns, and regulatory compliance while ensuring our customers successfully deploy and scale our AI solutions.
In this role, you'll collaborate with our Strategic Customer team, Applied ML (AML) Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE), Platform, Product, and Go-to-Market teams, serving as the technical program lead and trusted advisor for our most sensitive and high-impact government engagements.
Location: UK
Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance preferred; candidates with Active Secret clearance or those who are eligible and willing to obtain clearance will also be considered.
What You'll Do
Customer Program Leadership:
- Own end-to-end technical program delivery for UK public sector and defence customers, from initial deployment through production scaling
- Serve as the primary technical program point of contact for government customers, building trusted relationships with departmental CIOs, IT directors, and technical teams
- Translate complex government requirements (security, compliance, accessibility, bilingualism, data sovereignty) into actionable engineering plans
- Navigate government procurement processes, RFP responses, and contractual technical obligations.
Strategic Communication:
- Provide clear, timely, and objective communication across Cohere's engineering organisation, customer stakeholders, and government leadership
- Translate between AI/ML technical concepts and government-appropriate language for decision-makers who may not have deep technical backgrounds
- Present technical roadmaps and status updates to senior government officials and departmental executives
- Represent Cohere's technical capabilities in sensitive government and defence contexts.
Complex Program Management:
- Create and manage project schedules that account for government timelines, security review processes, and ministerial approval cycles
- Identify and manage dependencies across government departments, security authorities, cloud service providers, and internal Cohere teams
- Navigate risks unique to government deployments: privacy compliance, security authorisations, technical and infrastructure constraints
- Drive alignment between product development priorities and specific government requirements.
Technical Delivery & Execution:
- Ensure on-time delivery of AI solutions that meet government-grade security, privacy, accessibility, and performance standards
- Coordinate technical work across multiple teams: model customisation, security hardening, integration with government systems, bilingual support
- Establish governance checkpoints appropriate for high-stakes government deployments
- Problem-solve complex technical challenges in air-gapped, on-premises, or highly regulated environments.
You May Be a Good Fit If:
Required Experience:
- 6+ years of experience as a customer-facing Technical or Engineering Program Manager in AI/ML consulting, technology transformation, or enterprise software delivery.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management.
- Experience working with government, defence, or heavily regulated customers (public sector, defence contractors).
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical programs with stringent compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or technical certs a plus.
Technical Background:
- Strong understanding of enterprise software deployment architectures (cloud, on-premises, hybrid, air-gapped)
- Working knowledge of or experience with modern AI: LLMs, agentic systems, MCP, RAG, fine-tuning, evals, and responsible AI would be a strong differentiator
- Comfortable discussing API integrations, model inference, data pipelines, and ML operations with technical stakeholders.
Government & Defence Acumen:
- Deep understanding of how government organisations procure, evaluate, and deploy technology
- Familiarity with UK government requirements: data sovereignty, privacy laws (Privacy Act), accessibility standards, official languages obligations, security classifications
- Understanding of defence and national security considerations in AI deployment
- Experience with Algorithmic Impact Assessments or AI ethics frameworks is a strong asset
- Eligible to obtain UK government security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
Nice to Have:
- Active UK government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) - preference for active Top Secret clearance
- Background in or strong familiarity with UK defence, intelligence, or critical infrastructure sectors
- Experience with GC Cloud services (Azure, AWS GovCloud) or Protected B/C environments
- Project management certification (PMP, PgMP) or government-specific methodologies.
Security Clearance Requirements
This role requires eligibility for UK government security clearance.
Preference will be given to candidates who currently hold an active UK government Top Secret (TS) clearance, as this will enable immediate engagement with our most sensitive defence and national security customers.
However, we will also consider exceptional candidates who:
- Currently hold UK government Secret clearance and are eligible for TS upgrade
- Do not currently hold clearance, but are eligible and willing to undergo the Top Secret clearance process
- Have a previous government security clearance that has lapsed
Please note that obtaining Top Secret clearance can take 12-18 months. Candidates without active clearance will work on non-classified public sector accounts while the clearance process is underway.
What Makes This Role Unique
This isn't typical program management—it's a highly specialised role at the intersection of frontier AI, national security, and public sector digital transformation. You'll work on some of the UK’s most sensitive and impactful AI deployments, helping government organisations harness cutting-edge technology while maintaining the highest standards of security, ethics, and accountability.
If you're passionate about responsible AI adoption, understand the unique constraints and opportunities within government, and want to have an outsized impact on how the UK leverages AI to serve its citizens, this role is for you.

About the Opportunity
The Workplace IT Specialist ensures a reliable, secure, and high-quality workplace technology experience for employees across our EEA-region offices. The role also provides remote backup and support for other EEA offices as needed, and works as part of our Global IT team.
Second-line support for SaaS platforms and network infrastructure is handled by the broader Global IT team; this role focuses on delivering first-line support and knowing when to escalate. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically curious, works well independently, and looks for ways to improve day-to-day IT operations through automation and process improvements.

Deliver responsive technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, business applications, and workplace technology, ensuring timely resolution of employee issues for the Malta office and EEA-region users.
Provide first-line, user-facing support for our collaboration, productivity, and business applications, helping employees resolve day-to-day usage questions.
Manage the local endpoint lifecycle — device provisioning, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, asset inventory, and secure device retirement — in line with Global IT standards and security policies.
Partner with HR and hiring managers to deliver smooth onboarding and offboarding: device preparation, account provisioning, access requests, and introducing new employees to IT systems, security practices, and workplace technology.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the local office's workplace technology, including conference room AV systems, video conferencing, VOIP, printers, CCTV, access control systems, and other office infrastructure.
Troubleshoot first-line endpoint, networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, identity, and access issues, escalating to and collaborating with the Global IT Operations team on anything beyond first-line.
Support Global IT initiatives, office moves, technology refreshes, and security projects as they affect the local office and the EEA region.
Create and maintain knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation, using AI-powered tools and automation to improve documentation quality and reduce repetitive work.
Own the local end-user support experience: manage support requests, maintain SLA adherence, spot recurring issues, and suggest improvements to IT service delivery.
What We Look For In You
2+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, IT Operations, or a similar enterprise technical support environment.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
Strong experience supporting macOS in an enterprise environment.
Experience supporting enterprise productivity platforms such as Google Workspace and Lark Suite, with a working understanding of SSO authentication fundamentals, endpoint security, password management, and drive encryption.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, operating systems, networking basics, and endpoint technologies.

We're in 50%+ of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $16B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo developer to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.
We're a remote-first team of 150+ people across 25+ countries, guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance.
This isn't the right fit for everyone. The systems you’ll build here manage billions of dollars and touch hundreds of millions of end users, and we don’t take that lightly. You'll be expected to work hard and hold a high bar for what you ship, alongside some of the sharpest, most driven people you've worked with. If that sounds energizing rather than exhausting, keep reading.
ABOUT THE TEAM
You’ll join a cross‑functional group of app monetization subject matter experts who partner directly with RevenueCat customers and prospects. As part of the broader Customer Growth org, this team designs and implements high‑impact paywalls, onboarding flows, and purchase funnels using RevenueCat’s no‑code builders and experimentation tools, then feeds learnings back into our product, templates, and educational content
You’ll also collaborate closely with our content, marketing, and advocacy teams to turn real‑world project outcomes into templates, case studies, webinars, and best‑practice guides for the broader app community
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Senior CRO Designer, Paywalls & Funnels, you’ll be the person RevenueCat customers trust when the question is: “How do we get more users to convert and stay subscribed?”
You will:
- Design & build high‑converting paywalls and funnels
- Use RevenueCat’s paywall and experiment builders to design, configure, and ship paywalls, onboarding flows, upgrade paths, and win‑back experiences for mobile apps across categories
- Translate brands and product value props into clear, compelling paywall layouts, messaging, and pricing presentations
- Lead conversion optimization projects for customers and prospects
- Run structured discovery with customers and prospects to understand their business model, audience, and constraints
- Propose experiment plans (e.g., value prop framing, pricing presentation, trial vs. no‑trial, placement and timing of paywalls)
- Partner with apps to launch multivariate tests and interpret results, using RevenueCat’s analytics and experimentation tooling
- Codify patterns into reusable assets
- Distill what’s working across projects into reusable templates, checklists, and patterns that can be implemented directly in RevenueCat’s builders
- Work with Product to inform our paywall components, presets, and default templates
- Create educational content with Advocacy & Marketing
- Collaborate with Growth Advocacy and Content teams to turn your project learnings into:
- Example paywalls and funnel templates
- Blog posts, guides, and best‑practice documentation
- Webinars, live reviews, and conference talks or workshops
- Participate in public‑facing sessions (e.g., teardown streams, office hours) as a visible expert on monetization UX
- Champion monetization UX best practices
- Advise Sales, Customer Success, and Support on paywall and funnel best practices they can bring into customer conversations
- Provide feedback to Product & Engineering on how practitioners use our builders in the wild, highlighting opportunities for new features, components, and workflows
ABOUT YOU
You’re a conversion‑focused designer who lives at the intersection of mobile product design, growth, and experimentation. You have a track record of shipping real paywalls and funnels that move business metrics, not just portfolios
You have:
- Deep hands‑on experience with paywalls & funnels
- 5–8+ years designing consumer mobile experiences, with a substantial portion spent on subscription or purchase flows (e.g., paywalls, onboarding, upgrade/upsell, win‑back, account limits)
- Experience either:
- At a mobile app studio / product team owning monetization UX, or
- At an agency/consultancy repeatedly designing and optimizing paywalls and funnels for multiple apps
- Strong conversion & experimentation mindset
- Comfort defining hypotheses, success metrics, and test plans (e.g., CVR, trial start rate, activation, LTV)
- Experience using analytics and experimentation tools to interpret results and iterate quickly
- Ability to balance conversion gains with long‑term user trust and platform guidelines
- Mobile‑first product design skills
- Excellent interaction and visual design chops for small screens and high‑stakes surfaces (like paywalls and purchase flows)
- Strong UX writing instincts for concise, value‑focused copy and pricing messaging
- Proficiency in modern design tools (e.g. Figma) and comfort translating designs into no‑code builder configurations
- Customer‑facing communication skills
- Confidence leading workshops, design reviews, and strategy sessions with customers and prospects
- Ability to present options, pros/cons, and trade‑offs to both designers and non‑design stakeholders (founders, PMs, marketers)
- Great written communication for async collaboration in a remote team
- Values & ways of working
- You’re energized by our mission to help developers make more money
- You work iteratively and ship value quickly rather than waiting for perfection
- You have an ownership mentality: You see broken or unclear experiences and feel compelled to improve them
- You’re comfortable working in a fully remote, distributed team and collaborating across time zones
In your first month, you’ll:
- Learn RevenueCat’s products, especially paywalls, experiments, and analytics
- Join customer calls to understand our process and common challenges
- Audit a handful of existing customer paywalls and funnels and build your first recommendations
Within 3 months, you’ll:
- Own several customer projects end‑to‑end, from discovery through experiment analysis
- Ship multiple paywall and funnel variations using RevenueCat’s builders
- Partner with Advocacy/Content on at least one public asset (template, blog post, teardown, or webinar segment)
Within 6 months, you’ll:
- Be the go‑to expert internally for monetization UX, paywall patterns, and funnel optimization
- Maintain and evolve an internal “playbook” of best practices and tested patterns
- Influence the roadmap for our paywall and experiment tooling based on patterns you see across customers
Within 12 months, you’ll:
- Have materially improved conversion for a portfolio of customer apps, with clear before/after stories
- Help define our strategy for paywall templates and monetization UX guidance at scale
- Represent RevenueCat in public‑facing educational content (webinars, AMAs, workshops, or conference talks) as a leading voice on mobile monetization UX
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator
- 10-year window to exercise vested equity options
- A fully remote environment designed around autonomy and flexibility
- 4-5 weeks of flexible time off annually
- Paid desk at a co-working space
- Workspace budget and continuous learning stipend

We work with industry-leading organizations to design, build, and operationalize technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Following the acquisition of Tooploox, a premier AI and product development company, Solvd now offers true end-to-end delivery—from strategic advisory and solution design to custom AI development and enterprise-scale implementation. Our capability centers combine deep technical expertise, proven delivery methodologies, and sector-specific knowledge to address complex business challenges quickly and effectively.
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on expertise designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions. In this role, you will work directly with an enterprise payments platform client to architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud environments, with a near-term focus on modernizing infrastructure as code by migrating Ruby-based CloudFormation to TypeScript.
You will support the client across their full cloud journey, from discovery and assessment through implementation, optimization, and knowledge transfer. This role blends deep AWS technical capability with strong software engineering fundamentals, communication, and delivery skills.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Infrastructure as Code Modernization
- Lead migration of existing CloudFormation IaC to TypeScript (AWS CDK).
- Establish IaC patterns, module structure, testing strategy, and code review standards for the new toolchain.
- Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for automated validation, plan/diff review, and safe deployment of infrastructure changes.
Architecture and Solution Design
- Design and implement scalable, secure AWS architectures based on client requirements.
- Assess current-state environments and propose effective migration and modernization strategies.
- Build patterns and frameworks to support repeatable, high-quality delivery.
Project Delivery and Technical Leadership
- Lead implementation of AWS services including compute, networking, storage, IAM, databases, and serverless.
- Troubleshoot issues during delivery and guide teams in operational best practices.
- Ensure performance, reliability, and security across deployed solutions, including multi-region and disaster recovery considerations.
Resilience Testing and Gamedays
- Plan and facilitate gameday exercises to validate failover behavior, runbooks, and team readiness.
- Design and execute fault injection experiments using AWS Fault Injection Service (FIS) to verify recovery objectives under realistic failure conditions.
- Capture findings, drive remediation of gaps uncovered during testing, and iterate on experiment coverage over time.
Client Engagement and Advisory
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solution designs.
- Act as a trusted advisor on cloud strategy and modernization options.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge Sharing and Internal Contribution
- Mentor team members and contribute to internal learning initiatives.
- Develop documentation, reusable assets, templates, and best practices for future projects.
- Promote continuous improvement within Solvd's Cloud Engineering practice.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 or more years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation
- Strong TypeScript proficiency, including typing, project structure, and testing (Jest or similar)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code at scale (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience migrating or refactoring legacy IaC (especially CloudFormation, to CDK or Terraform.
- Advanced TypeScript experience, such as authoring reusable CDK constructs, publishing internal packages, or maintaining shared TypeScript libraries.
- Hands-on experience across AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, IAM, VPC, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD for infrastructure, particularly GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with multi-region architectures, failover mechanics, and RPO/RTO tradeoffs.
- Experience with chaos engineering or resilience testing, ideally using AWS FIS, and running gameday or DR drill exercises.
- AWS professional certifications such as Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional.
- Understanding of security and compliance requirements in regulated environments, including PCI-DSS.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage both business and technical stakeholders.
When you join Solvd, you'll…
- Shape real-world AI-driven projects across key industries, working with clients from startup innovation to enterprise transformation.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
🚀 WHY JOIN CARE OPS IN 2026? 🚀
You might look at Alan’s Care team today—managing high volumes seamlessly, supported by strong partners, and automating 50 of conversations—and ask: "It works, so why join now?"
Yet, the most exciting part is still ahead. We are at a turning point as we prepare to support millions of members and push to set the standards in the industry.
Here is why this is the moment to join.
- People: This is the opportunity to join a team with incredibly high talent density, operating with distributed ownership—empowered Crew Leads, strong deputies, and Guillaume Poirier https://www.linkedin.com/in/guillaume-p-34602923/ as Care Ops Lead. It is a proven engine for creating talent and fueling internal mobility.
- Processes: We absorb high volumes without glitches (including Ministry of Finance in France) and collaborate smoothly with Product and Sales. We trust and work hand-in-hand with solid external partners in France and Spain.
- Innovation: We are one of the few companies in the world claiming to automate 40% of member conversations as of the end of 2025 (a true market benchmark).
We're building an organization capable of serving 3 million members with a lean team. To get there, we need people who can build scalable systems (analytical and operational) that make this possible.
What this means for the role you're joining:
- Our operations are getting smarter, and our analytics need to keep up: We don't just need dashboards. We need to understand what drives performance, spot problems early, and help teams decide faster. You'll build this.
- Our planning is getting more complex: More countries, more automation, more partner teams. We need better models to know how many people we need, where, and when.
- Our tools need to scale: What works with manual effort today won't work at 3x the volume. You'll build AI-powered tools and workflows that make operations smoother across the board.
Recognition: We are building something unique, yet we are not yet known externally as the reference for Care operations.
⭐ THE CARE OPS ROLE ⭐
The Care Ops team supports the Care Community globally (France, Belgium, Spain, Canada) by providing tools, processes, and data to deliver on our Roadmap and Strategic Plan. Care Ops is accountable for operational excellence and efficiency in Care, enabling the Community to scale without any compromise on user experience.
We are looking for a Care Ops who loves numbers, builds tools, and wants to have a real impact on how we run operations at scale.
You'll join a team of 10 and work across the full spectrum of our operations: understanding what drives our performance, building the tools and models that help us make better decisions, and collaborating daily with Data, Engineering, Product, and Care teams.
One week you'll be deep in a staffing model, the next you'll be building an AI-powered reporting tool, the next you'll be presenting a performance deep dive to Crew Leads.
Some of our missions include:
1/ Performance analytics and operational insights
- Build and improve dashboards and reports that help teams understand what's happening and why. Not just track numbers — explain them.
- Conduct deep dives into operational performance (response times, resolution quality, contact drivers) and deliver concrete recommendations.
- Help define and maintain our key metrics across countries: what do we measure, where does the data live, how do we make it reliable.
- Work closely with our Data team and Care Crew Leads to turn data into decisions.
2/ Planning, forecasting, and resource optimization
- Help build and improve our staffing models: how many people do we need, when, and where? How does automation change the equation?
- Contribute to simplifying our planning tools and processes
- Work with our external partners on capacity planning and delivery tracking.
- Challenge how we do things today.
3/ Tooling and AI
- Build and improve operational tools using AI and no-code solutions (Dust, Claude, automation platforms). You'll probably build half your tools with AI.
- Identify where current processes don't scale and propose solutions — sometimes a simple script, sometimes a product need.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering crews to push efficiency needs into the roadmap.
⭐ JOIN THE CARE TEAM! ⭐️
You will excel as a Care Ops if you:
- Communicate clearly in English and French, written and verbal. You'll work with many teams and clarity matters.
- Think in numbers. You're comfortable with data, spreadsheets, and ideally SQL. You build models, not just read dashboards.
- Have a performance mindset. You want to understand why a metric moves. You look for root causes and push for action.
- Are curious about AI and tooling. You use AI tools in your daily work and see them as building blocks. You're excited to learn and experiment.
- Get your hands dirty. You dig into the details, fix what's broken, and don't wait for someone else to do it.
- Have 2-5 years of experience in operations, analytics, consulting, or a similar role — ideally in a tech or startup environment.
- Have an organized and structured mindset.
- Can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Our ideal candidate thrives in a startup or tech company environment and is excited about the opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing company. If this sounds like you, then you might just be the Care Ops we're looking for.
We value diversity and encourage individuals from varied experiences and backgrounds to apply. Join our Care team and contribute to our mission of delivering an exceptional user experience.
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the B1-C1 level range https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.
🙌 PERKS & BENEFITS https://alan.com/about/life-at-alan/a/perks
At Alan, we believe that being in good health is a basic need, and it starts with our employees. This is why Alaners are provided with a stimulating environment and perks ensuring they are happy, efficient and spend only high-quality time with co-workers.
Therefore, we offer:

- Parental leave. Extended parental leave for all new parents, for permanent contracts only.

After reading this job description, if you feel like you don’t have all the necessary prerequisites but that it matches where you are now or what you'd like to grow into in your next position, we encourage you to apply!
Not everybody will enter our recruitment process, but all, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply as it can only bring learnings or success.

Hi, I’m Josh, Engineering Manager at
Customer.io
. We’re looking for a curious, AI-forward Developer Experience Engineer to join our Integrations team and help us build the tools that developers rely on to integrate with
Customer.io
.
About
Customer.io
Over 9,000 companies - from scrappy startups to global brands - use our platform to send billions of emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS every day.
Customer.io
powers automated communication that people actually want to receive.
We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data. Under the hood: Go, React, Ember and AI help us ship fast and scale with confidence.
What We Value
Ownership
You own problems end to end. You move fast, act like an owner, and thrive in ambiguity. You've led complex projects before, whether officially or not, and you're ready to do it again.
Engineers with product taste
You think like a developer using your tools, not just an engineer building them. You care about API design, developer experience, and everything in between.
A healthy skepticism for “the way things are done”
You bring rigor and creativity. Best practices matter - but never more than forward motion.
What You’ll Do
Build and evolve
Customer.io
's SDKs across platforms - including Android, iOS, Node, and Go - and the developer tools that support them
Lead SDK initiatives end to end: set technical direction, write the code, manage the release, and own the outcome
Improve SDK delivery infrastructure - CI, automated testing, versioning, publishing, and release processes - so shipping is reliable and low-friction
Partner closely with product and design to turn loosely defined goals into a great developer experience
Participate in an on-call rotation as required, supporting the reliability of the systems you build
Use AI agents to make multi-file changes across unfamiliar codebases and languages by scoping the work, writing the prompt, and verifying the output
Bring strong customer empathy to the role - understanding what the engineers integrating with our SDKs actually need, and occasionally engaging directly with them
What we're looking for
Expert-level competency in at least one established programming language, with strong software design and API design fundamentals
Experience building and evolving mature, production-quality software, with a clear understanding of how systems fit together and how other developers consume them
Exceptional fluency with current LLMs and agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Codex) - using AI to understand unfamiliar codebases, work across languages, and run things in parallel or autonomously
High autonomy in ambiguous environments - you clarify the problem, validate its value, and drive implementation without close direction
Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical decisions and tradeoffs clearly
Ability to work effectively across multiple languages and stacks; prior experience in every language we support (Swift, Kotlin, Node, Go) is not required
Nice to have: experience building external-facing SDKs, APIs, or developer tools; experience owning CI, testing, versioning, or release infrastructure; or forward-deployed engineering experience.
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in transparency. Starting salary for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 USD (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment. In addition to base salary, this role includes an equity grant in the form of stock options, so you share in the success you help build.
We know our people are what make us great, and we’re committed to taking great care of them. Our inclusive benefits package supports your well-being and growth, including 100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums for you and your family. We also offer 16 weeks paid parental leave, unlimited PTO, stipends for remote work and wellness, a professional development budget, and more.

Fivetran is looking for a Senior R&D Software Engineer to join our fast-growing Fivetran AI team.
Fivetran AI operates like a startup within Fivetran, and we need engineers who thrive on that range rather than staying in one lane.
What You’ll Do
Research emerging techniques in retrieval, reasoning, and agentic AI, and evaluate what’s actually relevant to Fivetran AI’s roadmap
Prototype new ideas quickly, then take the ones that prove out and turn them into shipped, production-grade features
Build and maintain both back-end and front-end systems for the Fivetran AI product — from Agents Schema pipelines to the Context Catalog UI
Contribute to the AISQL capability: natural language to SQL grounded in dbt metric definitions, executed natively against the warehouse
Take ownership of production reliability: on-call rotation, incident response, and SRE work to keep the platform trustworthy at scale
Write and maintain tests, and do hands-on QA to catch issues before customers do
Use coding agents to automate the repetitive parts of the job, freeing up time for the research and design work that needs a human
Partner with product and design, bringing your own understanding of the AI tooling market to shape what gets built next
Develop software designs and contribute to the technical roadmap for the Fivetran AI platform
Contribute to hiring by participating in the interview process
Skills We’re Looking For
5+ years of programming experience across Python and/or Java, with the ability to move fluidly between back-end and front-end work
Considered a trusted expert in your subject area, capable of executing complex, ambiguous tasks with minimal hand-holding
Comfortable reading AI/ML research and turning promising findings into working prototypes
Strong product and market awareness — able to judge which emerging techniques are worth building versus which are hype
Experience using coding agents or similar AI tooling to speed up day-to-day engineering work
Analytical mindset to identify gaps in existing systems and design practical, pragmatic improvements
