As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations.
Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow.
THE ROLE
We're seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager to define positioning and drive launches for Synthesia's core product—the studio and video creation experience that powers how customers create, customize, and deploy enterprise video at scale.
You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer teams to shape market perception, bring flagship launches to market, and define how the industry understands the evolution of AI-native video creation. This is a high-visibility, strategic role that touches every part of the core platform, with significant scope to influence Synthesia's positioning as a category leader.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Define the strategic narrative – Own the overarching story about what the studio enables and where video creation is heading. Translate individual launches into a cohesive, forward-thinking arc that positions Synthesia at the forefront of AI-native video.
- Lead core product launches – Own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution for the studio and video creation experience, partnering with Product to bring new capabilities to market with conviction and clarity
- Drive adoption & enablement – Create campaigns, assets, and sales collateral that move customers from awareness to active usage. Own sales enablement so deals close faster and customers see the full vision
- Own competitive positioning – Work with our competitive intelligence function to develop frameworks that show how Synthesia's studio differentiates, ensuring we're best positioned as the market evolves
- Collaborate on product strategy – Bring GTM perspective into Product decisions around launch readiness, pricing, packaging, and roadmap prioritization. Influence what gets built based on market opportunity
- Gather and apply customer intelligence – Partner with our dedicated market intelligence team to stay ahead of customer needs, competitive moves, and emerging use cases. Surface opportunities and threats back to product
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
- You want full ownership – Blank slate, you make the call, you move and adjust based on what works. You're the strategic leader for how the market understands this product
- You've shipped at senior level in B2B SaaS – 10+ years in the industry, 6+ in product marketing leadership at B2B companies. You've led positioning for flagship products and shaped how markets understood them
- You can write with conviction – Positioning, messaging, strategy docs, decks. You have a sharp point of view and can defend it in a room with skeptics
- You understand the sales cycle – You know what sales needs to close deals and you've built enablement tools people actually use
- You ship at 60–70% – You know the difference between perfect and useful. You get something to 60–70%, hand it off for refinement, keep moving
- You move with the product – Priorities shift, markets move, you stay focused and adapt the narrative
- You've moved the needle – Real launches that drove sales velocity, customer adoption, expansion, and how the market understood a product category

About the Role
Build, run and develop EXANTE’s principal trading book across asset classes. Provide liquidity against client flow, manage the resulting inventory and hedge residual exposure to generate P&L within the firm’s regulatory, best-execution and conflict-of-interest framework, with full P&L responsibility for the principal trading book.

Responsibilities
Principal trading book — provide liquidity against client flow, internalise and aggregate exposures where commercially attractive, manage inventory and hedge residual market risk.
Trading strategies — market making, flow trading, relative-value and other legitimate strategies the candidate identifies, within Board-approved risk limits.
Counterparty and execution venues — identify, negotiate and onboard the exchanges, prime brokers and OTC counterparties needed for hedging and inventory management.
Risk management framework — in partnership with the Risk function, design, implement and operate the risk limits, monitoring and escalation framework for the book.
Stock Lending cooperation — coordinate securities inventory, financing and revenue with the existing Stock Lending team, avoiding disruption to that revenue line.
Desk cooperation — work with the Options Trading and Fixed Income & Structured Products desks to ensure complementary principal books and shared risk visibility.
Operations and platform — cooperate with Operations, Treasury and Technology on workflow, financing, settlement and platform tooling.
Conflict and best execution — manage conflicts of interest, best-execution arrangements and product-governance compliance across the relevant booking entities (MiFID II, FCA, SFC and equivalent regimes).
Team build-out — size, composition and sequencing at the hire’s discretion as the book grows, consistent with the approved business plan.
Experience
10–20 years’ experience in principal trading, flow trading, market making or running a multi-asset trading book at a sell-side firm, broker-dealer, prime broker or proprietary trading house, with documented P&L through different market regimes.
Multi-asset risk management — strong background across delta, gamma, vega, correlation, liquidity and counterparty risk.
Regulatory expertise — hands-on familiarity with the MiFID II Systematic Internaliser regime, best-execution obligations and conflict-of-interest management in a regulated broker-dealer environment is essential.
Securities financing — familiarity with securities financing and stock lending operations is a strong plus.
Cooperative profile — non-negotiable; the role only succeeds by working closely with the existing Stock Lending team and the new trading desks, and a track record of operating effectively across desks and functions is expected.
Fluent English — mandatory.
Commercial and disciplined — technical, comfortable with full accountability for a P&L.
