Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
We're looking for a Director, Product Design to lead the day-to-day operations of Replit's Product Design organization, reporting to the Co-Founder & Head of Design.
This is a true player-coach role for someone who loves building products as much as leading people. You'll lead and develop a talented team of product designers while remaining deeply embedded in the work itself. You'll whiteboard with designers, navigate complex product decisions.
The Co-Founder & Head of Design remains closely involved in design critique and product quality. Your role is to lead the day-to-day design organization by creating the structure, alignment, and momentum that enable exceptional work. You'll stay two to three layers deeper than the Co-Founder & Head of Design on active initiatives, surfacing the context, tradeoffs, and insights needed to make thoughtful decisions without requiring constant immersion in every project.
Success in this role requires exceptional product judgment, strong design taste, technical fluency, and a collaborative approach. You're someone who naturally connects disciplines, elevates the people around you, and makes both the work and the team better every day.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Lead the day-to-day operations of Replit's Product Design organization, ensuring work is aligned, prioritized, and delivered to an exceptionally high standard.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of product designers, helping them grow their craft, confidence, and impact.
- Shape and elevate the customer journey
- Work alongside designers every day by whiteboarding ideas, exploring alternatives, reviewing work in progress, and solving complex product and interaction challenges.
- Stay deeply informed across active initiatives, surfacing the context and insights that enable the Co-Founder & Head of Design to engage quickly in meaningful design critique and high-impact product decisions.
- Raise the quality of product design through thoughtful feedback, exceptional craft, and strong design taste.
- Help evolve Replit's design practices, workflows, and team culture while preserving the speed and flexibility of a high-growth company.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard exceptional product design talent as the organization grows.
WHO YOU ARE
You're a builder first and a manager second.
You enjoy being close to the work, helping designers think through difficult problems, and making good teams even better. You're equally comfortable sketching ideas on a whiteboard, giving thoughtful design feedback, coaching a designer through a difficult challenge, or partnering with engineering on implementation details.
You combine exceptional product judgment with strong design taste and technical fluency. You're collaborative, humble, curious, and energized by helping great work happen.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Significant experience leading product design teams within high-growth technology companies.
- Proven ability to balance people leadership with meaningful hands-on product design contribution.
- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft, interaction design, product thinking, and systems thinking.
- Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering to deliver technically sophisticated products.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional product development in fast-moving environments.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong design taste, sound judgment, and a bias toward action.
- Experience simplifying complex technical products into elegant, approachable user experiences.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience designing developer tools, technical products, or software creation platforms.
- Experience building AI-powered products or AI-native workflows.
- Coding experience or strong technical curiosity.
- Experience growing design teams in startup or scale-up environments.
- Active use of AI throughout your design process.
WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
This isn't a traditional design leadership role.
We're looking for someone who thrives in the work, not above it. Someone who enjoys solving problems alongside designers, building strong partnerships across Product and Engineering, and bringing the depth of context that allows the Co-Founder & Head of Design to focus on the moments where their perspective has the greatest impact.
This is a role for someone who is excited by complex product challenges, passionate about developing exceptional designers, and motivated by building products that make powerful technology feel intuitive.
This is a full-time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office. The role has an in-office requirement of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Deal Desk Analyst to join the Deal Desk team within our Revenue Operations function. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the center of how we structure, price, and close business globally — partnering with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product to turn deals into signed revenue.
You will lead the quote-to-contract execution cycle for our global sales team while helping build the systems, processes, and playbooks that scale a world-class Deal Desk. As the organization continues through a period of rapid growth, we are looking for someone who wants to shape the function rather than inherit it — bringing structure to ambiguity, modernizing how deals get done, and raising the bar for commercial excellence.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Global Deal Desk, and is preferably based in a hybrid capacity out of our San Francisco headquarters, working standard US business hours.
What you'll do
Deal Management — Own the day-to-day deal review and closing process end to end, including deal approvals, deal structuring, and quote configuration within Vercel CPQ, ensuring every deal is executed accurately and on time.
Commercialization & Execution — Drive deal execution in close partnership with Finance, Legal, GTM, Partnerships, Product, and Pricing. Design, build, and continuously optimize the sales and deal processes that bring new pricing, packaging, and product launches to market.
Trusted Advisor — Serve as the subject-matter expert for the Sales organization, providing deal guidance and operational support. Approach complex, non-standard deals with creativity and sound judgment, developing practical solutions in ambiguous situations.
Revenue Integrity — Act as the gatekeeper of data hygiene and opportunity data, partnering with GTM and Finance on audits for revenue recognition, financial reporting, and forecasting.
Insights & Enablement — Analyze deal performance and market trends to develop new sales motions, deal levers, and training materials that increase sales velocity and reduce business risk, in partnership with the Pricing and Field Enablement teams.
Operational Excellence — Identify opportunities to streamline, enhance, and automate processes. Translate needs into clear business requirements and leverage AI and automation to scale.
What you need
4+ years of experience in deal desk, pricing, quote-to-cash, contract management, or a related Revenue Operations or Sales Operations function within the technology sector.
A proven record of partnering effectively with Sales and cross-functional teams to move complex deals forward.
Demonstrated experience in project management and process improvement.
A collaborative team member who consistently delivers excellent sales support.
A resourceful self-starter with strong critical-thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
You think naturally about operational implications and downstream impact.
You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and operate effectively amid change and ambiguity.
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (or a comparable CPQ platform)
A track record of using AI or automation to improve operational workflows.
Bonus if you
You’re located within San Francisco Bay Area (HQ). We have offices for you to help build our office culture. This role primarily works on Pacific Standard Time (PST).
Benefits & Compensation:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.

Define requirements for Fusion features that integrate seamlessly with the dbt platform and unlock enterprise value
Keep the Fusion engineering team aligned, unblocked, and executing on a predictable cadence
Contribute hands-on to the dbt Core / Fusion codebases, including code reviews, documentation, and small feature implementations
Collaborate with OSS strategy leads, platform PM peers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a unified roadmap
What success looks like
Shipping net-new features on a predictable quarterly cadence
Measurable contribution to Fusion PLG growth metrics, including identification and monetization of local dbt deployments
Hands-on contributions to dbt Core and Fusion code bases, including merged PRs and meaningful improvements to the open source codebase
Strong execution and alignment across the Fusion engineering team
You're a good fit if you have

Experience working with engineering teams to define, prioritize, and ship complex technical features
Strong communication skills with empathy for open source contributors and enterprise users alike
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
Background in plugin architectures, extensibility systems, or platform ecosystems
Understanding of PLG motions and freemium-to-paid conversion strategies
Experience with SQL engines, query optimization, or compute systems

At Sentry, our Mobile team builds the next generation of observability tools for developers worldwide — processing over a billion events every single day. We're looking for a technical Senior Product Manager, Mobile to bring clarity and context to the team and help us create a delightful Sentry experience for mobile developers across the globe.
At Sentry, product managers, engineers, and engineering managers work together to help shape the roadmap and decide what to build next – with the engineering manager ultimately owning the decision. Your role will be to make sure the team deeply understands its users, the market, and how the product performs in the real world, including where it delights and where it creates friction, so the right decisions happen naturally. This position reports to the Director of Engineering..
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Turn scattered signal into clear context: Build and run a system that continuously gathers insight from everywhere it lives — users, customers, GitHub, our own product data, and the wider market (competitors, ecosystem trends, and industry shifts) — and turn it into well-framed problems, opportunities, and tradeoffs that inform the Mobile roadmap and guide prioritization. Draw out the people closest to customers (Sales, Support, Solutions) who are often acutely aware of the features we're missing, especially the ones about to cause customer churn
- Be the developer's voice: Talk to developers and engineering leaders on a steady cadence, represent them when internal decisions get made, test ideas quickly and cheaply before committing engineering, and use what you learn to keep us aligned on the top priorities for this persona
- Elevate the end-to-end mobile developer experience: Together with the Engineering Manager & Mobile engineers you will influence and improve the full user journey, from catching and surfacing a mobile issue in Sentry to resolving it automatically — across native (iOS, Android) and cross-platform (React Native, Flutter, KMP) developers alike
- Connect the dots and build trust: Partner closely not just with the engineering team, but also various internal stakeholders across the company — earning trust over time by delivering on your commitments and communicating clearly with people inside and outside the company
- Use AI to go faster and deeper: Apply strong judgment about where AI adds real leverage in discovery, synthesis, and analysis, and build it into repeatable systems rather than one-off prompts
- Measure outcomes, not output: Commit to measurable objectives tied to real customer and business value, track the metrics that matter across usage and revenue, and turn what you see into hypotheses and action
YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF YOU
- Are relentlessly curious about users: you love talking to developers and customers, digging into data, structuring what you learn, and turning it into sharp hypotheses, problems, and bets
- Genuinely care about developer experience: you love mobile platforms and sweat the details of a great end-to-end UX
- Are technical enough to earn developers' trust: you know how software gets built, because you built or still build mobile applications yourself
- Are a high-agency self-starter who organizes their own work: you don't wait to be told what to do — you find the problems that matter and bring them to a solution
- Lead through context & collaboration, not control: energized by making a team smarter and letting them own priorities, rather than dictating the roadmap yourself
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years experience as a Mobile developer — you don’t solely rely on empathy when representing this persona, but speak from your own experience as well
- 5+ years as a Product Manager, ideally with B2B SaaS and observability products for mobile platforms — backed by a background in mobile software engineering (Apple, Android, React Native, Flutter, etc.)
- Experience talking to customers directly and running continuous product discovery — you let evidence, not opinion, shape decisions
- Strong business and product judgment with an affinity for data and metrics — you turn signals into clear hypotheses and actions
- Excellent written and spoken communication, and a track record of driving outcomes through influence rather than authority — building alignment with engineering teams and business stakeholders through evidence and a clear narrative
- Fluent with AI in your daily workflow — you use it to work faster and sharper across your PM craft, and know where it doesn't help
- You live in the Vienna area or are willing to relocate
Not sure if you meet 100% of the qualifications? We encourage you to apply anyway. We're interested in people who are excited about this opportunity and eager to grow.
We are obliged by law to quote the minimum wage of EUR €64,554,-- gross per year for this position, in accordance with the respective collective agreement (IT-KV).
A successful candidate will be eligible to participate in Sentry’s employee benefit plans/programs applicable to the candidate’s position (including incentive compensation, equity grants, paid time off, and group health insurance coverage). See Sentry Benefits https://sentry.io/careers/ for more details about the Company’s benefit plans/programs.

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a fully remote position and we're considering candidates in the US EST.
About Product Management:
As a Product Manager at Grafana Labs, you'll develop a vision and strategy for your product domain. You will own your product’s roadmap, collateral, and market research, and you will collaborate with Grafana leadership on fine-tuning your product’s goals. You will be the primary advocate and expert in your area, with a strong ability to communicate needs, functionality, and details effectively both to external customers and internal stakeholders. The teams and people you will be interacting with will be 100% remote and globally distributed, so strong and proactive communication is essential.
Product Managers are the bridge that connect Engineering, Design, and UX to GTM. You are a facilitator who ensures the free flow of information across these teams and are expected to be technically proficient when representing our products to our customers.
The opportunity:
As the Staff Product Manager for OpenTelemetry Experience, you’ll own the end-to-end journey for helping people and agents instrument workloads and successfully send useful OpenTelemetry data to Grafana Cloud.
Your mission is to make Grafana Cloud the easiest and most trusted destination for OpenTelemetry workloads. You’ll reduce the uncertainty, complexity, and failure points users encounter between deciding to adopt OpenTelemetry and receiving healthy, correctly attributed, and actionable telemetry in Grafana Cloud.
Teams can instrument workloads, directly or with the help of coding agents, through OpenTelemetry SDKs, automatic instrumentation technologies such as Beyla and SDK injection, or client-side OpenTelemetry Collectors. Each path presents different decisions, deployment requirements, configuration steps, and potential failure modes. You’ll define a coherent experience that helps users choose the right approach, complete setup successfully, troubleshoot problems, and understand whether their telemetry is healthy and useful. You’ll design a future in which a growing share of instrumentation work is performed by coding agents acting on behalf of developers. This means treating agents are first-class participants in the experience and ensuring that instrumentation options, configuration requirements, errors, and validation signals are structured, discoverable, and actionable by both humans and machines.
Your scope will include:
OpenTelemetry SDK onboarding and configuration
Automatic instrumentation experiences, including OBI/Beyla and SDK injection
Client-side OpenTelemetry Collector deployment and onboarding
Collector configuration, authentication, and initial connectivity
Guidance and machine-readable context that help people and agents choose the right instrumentation approach
Workflows that allow coding-agents to implement, configure and verify instrumentation safely
Troubleshooting missing, incomplete, malformed, or unhealthy telemetry
Validation signals that allow both people and agents to confirm that telemetry is healthy, correctly attributed, and usable in Grafana Cloud
The transition from receiving telemetry to activating the appropriate Grafana Cloud observability solution
Success does not stop when Grafana Cloud receives the first data point. Telemetry must arrive with the quality, context, and structure required to support meaningful observability outcomes. You’ll partner closely with teams responsible for experiences such as Application Observability, Kubernetes Monitoring, Infrastructure Observability, and Drilldown Apps to ensure OpenTelemetry workloads receive a first-class experience from initial setup through first value.
This is a horizontal Staff-level product leadership role spanning multiple products and engineering teams. You may not directly own every SDK, collector, instrumentation technology, or downstream application involved in the journey. You will, however, be accountable for the coherence of the overall customer experience, its success measures, and the cross-product strategy required to improve it.
AI will also be part of how you work, not only what you build. You’ll be expected to use AI tools regularly to accelerate customer-research synthesis, analyze product signals, explore technical workflows, prototype experiences, develop positioning content, and test agent-led instrumentation journeys. You’ll model thoughtful, hands-on adoption of AI while applying strong judgement to its outputs.
The role is not focused on developing OpenTelemetry as an open source project in isolation. You’ll engage with and contribute to the OpenTelemetry ecosystem where appropriate, while measuring success through customer activation and outcomes in Grafana Cloud.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Define the vision, strategy, and cross-product roadmap for the journey from an uninstrumented workload to healthy, useful telemetry in Grafana Cloud solutions
Create coherent, opinionated experiences that help users choose and implement the right approach across SDK instrumentation, automatic instrumentation, and Collector-based deployment while preserving the flexibility advanced users require
Identify and eliminate the leading causes of setup failure, abandonment, misconfiguration, and low-quality telemetry
Establish shared experience principles, priorities, and success criteria across the product and engineering teams contributing to the OpenTelemetry journey
Use customer research, product data, and market insight to prioritize investments and measure outcomes such as onboarding completion, time to useful telemetry, telemetry health, and workload expansion
Partner with downstream Grafana Cloud solution teams to create a coherent transition from telemetry ingestion to meaningful product activation
Extend beyond product delivery to how the OpenTelemetry experience is positioned and brought to market. In partnership with Product Marketing and go-to-market teams, you’ll help define the product narrative, sharpen out differentiation, and develop launches, technical content, adoption programs, and campaigns that create demand and accelerate customer activation.
Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Documentation, Developer Relations, Product Marketing, and go-to-market teams to deliver and communicate a differentiated OpenTelemetry experience
Represent Grafana Labs and its customers in relevant OpenTelemetry ecosystem discussions
What makes you a great fit:
5+ years of Product Management experience, with a strong track record in developer tools, observability, infrastructure, data platforms, or another technically complex B2B product domain
Experience leading strategy and execution across multiple engineering teams or product areas without relying on direct organizational authority
Strong working knowledge of OpenTelemetry, including SDK instrumentation, OTLP, Collector pipelines, telemetry context, and semantic conventions
Experience using or building instrumentation systems, agents, telemetry collectors, configuration products, or related infrastructure
An understanding of the challenges involved in deploying and operating software across Kubernetes, virtual machines, and public cloud environments
Experience turning complex onboarding, configuration, and troubleshooting workflows into clear and approachable product experiences
A history of using customer research and product data to make decisions, align stakeholders, and deliver measurable outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and nontechnical stakeholders in a remote, globally distributed organization
Bonus Points:
Experience contributing to or building products around the OpenTelemetry or broader open source observability ecosystem
Experience with automatic instrumentation, eBPF, or runtime-based instrumentation
Firsthand experience as an SRE, platform engineer, developer, or observability practitioner
Experience building product-led onboarding, configuration-validation, or telemetry-health experiences at scale

This is a fully remote position and we're considering candidates in Spain.

This is a fully remote position and we're considering candidates in Canada EST.

About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
We are looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to join our EMEA Growth & Engagement team, which owns the growth and engagement of Wolt+ and Deliveroo Plus across 40+ markets in Europe and the Middle East and is working to build the best local commerce membership programs in the markets we operate in.
You will join our Engagement pod, which focuses on understanding what turns a subscriber into a healthy, engaged and long-term member. You will be responsible for i) identifying and prioritising the largest opportunities to improve our member experience and subscription health, ii) understanding how customer needs and behaviours evolve across different stages of the Plus lifecycle, and iii) driving the highest-priority opportunities from strategy through experimentation and execution to tangible business results.
To get the job done, you’ll work closely with our wider subscription team and cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Data Science & Analytics, Marketing, Commercial and Finance, while taking full ownership of driving your initiatives to fruition and, most importantly, measurable results.
Our team is responsible for driving the growth and long-term health of our subscription programs. Your exact problem space may evolve as our priorities change, but in practice you will:
Build a clear view of the largest opportunities to improve member engagement and subscription health across EMEA. Use customer behaviour, market performance and economics to size opportunities and prioritise the areas most likely to materially move our business results.
Understand the member lifecycle end to end, identifying where customers struggle to onboard, build habit, discover value or remain engaged, and translate those insights into practical interventions that improve customer and business outcomes.
Own initiatives from initial problem definition through to execution and results, working closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science & Analytics, Marketing, Commercial and Finance.
Build and run an experimentation roadmap against the highest-priority opportunities. Translate business problems into clear hypotheses, design A/B tests or other appropriate experiments, analyse the results and make decisions on whether initiatives should be scaled, iterated or stopped.
Track and own the key performance indicators relevant to your problem space and, where necessary, drive corrective actions. This may mean pulling shorter-term lifecycle levers or shaping longer-term Product and Engineering solutions to address underlying drivers.
Collaborate closely with local and regional teams to ensure our strategies reflect customer needs and market context, and turn successful approaches into repeatable playbooks that can scale across Wolt+ and Deliveroo Plus.
Keep a close eye on our customer experience and identify opportunities to make Plus easier to understand, use and get value from throughout the membership lifecycle.
The Engagement pod works across a broad range of customer problems. Examples could include improving the first 30–60 days of membership, onboarding and early order progression, benefit discovery and adoption, lifecycle and CRM journeys, programs that drive incremental order frequency and activity, and initiatives that improve longer-term member engagement and retention.
Our humble expectations
5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in i) strategy & operations, consumer growth or engagement at a leading consumer technology / platform company, ii) subscriptions, loyalty or membership businesses, or iii) management consulting with subsequent operating experience.
Problem-solving and prioritisation skills: our team is in the business of solving hard problems and developing new solutions. There is rarely a ready-made playbook to follow, so you’ll need to be comfortable structuring ambiguous problems, getting into the details and identifying which opportunities are most likely to move the needle.
Analytical and experimentation skills: you’ll work with data every day and need to be comfortable identifying and sizing opportunities, designing and interpreting A/B tests and making decisions based on the results. Strong spreadsheet skills are a must-have and SQL experience is useful.
Customer and lifecycle judgement: you are able to understand how customer behaviour and needs evolve across the membership journey, identify the moments that matter most and translate those insights into practical ways to improve onboarding, engagement and retention.
Business ownership and independence: you have experience owning measurable business results and can demonstrate how you have taken a problem from initial analysis through to execution and impact. You’ll be given significant responsibility and freedom, so you need to be comfortable operating without a predefined roadmap.
People and project management skills: you’ll need to be able to inspire and persuade colleagues from a broad spectrum of backgrounds and seniority levels and get cross-functional teams working towards one goal in a coordinated and efficient way.
AI fluency: AI is increasingly part of how we work at Wolt day to day. You should already be comfortable using AI tools in your work, or be excited to quickly become so, and continuously look for ways to use them to work faster and solve problems better.
Business acumen and eye for superb user experience: you’ll need to be able to see the forest for the trees and have good intuition about what works best for customers while understanding the economics and trade-offs behind business decisions.

We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing:
- Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista's 2026 list of America's Top WorkTech Companies https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-hr-named-10-of-americas-top-worktech-companies-of-2026-by-time
- Named one of America's Greatest Startup Workplaces 2026 https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-2026-newsweek-award by Newsweek
- A G2 Spring 2026 Leader https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-named-best-roi-for-any-global-employment-platform-for-g2-spring-2026 across Employer of Record, Global Employment, Multi-country Payroll, and HR Compliance
- The only B Corp-certified global employment platform ~ independently verified since 2023
Two of those rankings measured our business impact from the outside. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They're the same one.
And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply.
Location: To create the best experience for this employee and to meet the business needs, this role requires you to be based within the EMEA region.
ROLE SUMMARY
This is an exciting time to join Oyster. The Netherlands is one of our most important markets and this role will give you real ownership over how payroll runs, with the scope to help us achieve best-in-class payroll standards at scale.
You'll be our lead in-house payroll expert: the person we trust to own Dutch payroll end-to-end, build scalable workflows in AFAS, Nmbrs by Visma and / or Loket.nl http://Loket.nl, and set the standard for how payroll should run. If you've run native Dutch payroll from the ground up, know AFAS Nmbrs by Visma and/or Loket.nl http://Loket.nl inside out, have strong opinions on doing payroll right, and have helped build or transform a payroll function before, this role is built for you.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run payroll end-to-end. Own the full Dutch payroll cycle in-house; accurate, compliant, and on time.
- Master data ownership. Oversee the validation of employee payroll master data; new hires, terminations, salary changes, variable pay, benefits, absences, and garnishments (loonbeslag), ensuring every change is processed accurately and within payroll deadlines.
- Payroll controls & quality. Run rigorous pre- and post-payroll validations each cycle, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to keep payroll accurate before issues reach team members, customers or Finance.
- Handle all statutory filings & accesses. Loonaangifte (monthly payroll tax) and Jaaropgave (annual statement) — you own the Belastingdienst submissions. You will also be responsible for setting up and managing required government accesses (Belastingdienst, UWV).
- Own the payroll system. Configure and maintain the in-house payroll system, test legislative updates before they go live, troubleshoot issues, and partner with our Product team to improve automation and scalability.
- Be the subject matter expert. Advise the business on Loonheffing (payroll tax), Sociale verzekeringen (social insurance), Dutch arbeidsrecht (labour law), 30% ruling applications and CAO (collective labour agreement) interpretation.
- Own the numbers. Oversee payroll journals, GL mappings, reconciliations with Finance, and full data integrity.
- Own complex escalations. Be the key point of contact for our most complex client payroll issues. Pair your deep technical expertise with a customer-first mindset to turn hard problems into a best-in-class experience.
- Reporting. Maintain and prepare statutory and ad-hoc reports to meet regulatory requirements, including EU Pay Transparency Directive obligations, AVG/GDPR compliance across payroll data, WKR and Ondernemingsraad (works council)-facing pay assessment documentation.
- Audits. Provide structured data and documentation to support internal and external audits.
- Level the team up. Improve processes, coach junior specialists through complex problems rather than solving issues for them, and back up Regional Managers when needed. Maintain a living knowledge base e.g. playbooks and SOPs. so legal updates and process knowledge stay documented and shared, never siloed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years running the complete native (in-house) payroll process for the Netherlands, comfortable independently handling a high volume of payslips per month.
- Advanced, hands-on AFAS and / or Nmbrs by Visma and / or Loket.nl http://Loket.nl experience is non-negotiable.
- PDL (Praktijkdiploma Loonadministratie) and/or VPS (Vakopleiding Payroll Services) certification and/or NIRPA Register Salarisadministrateur (RSa) registration; HBO (Bachelor) in Business Admin or Finance highly valued.
- Deep, current working knowledge of Dutch wage tax, social insurance, and labor law, and the confidence to advise stakeholders directly, not just execute.
- Dutch at C1/C2 for interaction with local authorities and fluent English for collaborating with our async global team.
- Comfortable owning complex, sensitive client escalations; balancing technical precision with a genuine customer-first mindset.
- An analytical, productivity-obsessed mindset. You're not a corporate "just follow the process" type; you thrive working from a blank canvas to build and set up processes, with an automation mindset that keeps improving how the work gets done.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving cross-functional change, even without an established playbook.
- Some experience coaching or mentoring less experienced colleagues; you like building others up, not just solving problems yourself.
- Comfortable working largely asynchronously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- A broader accounting background or qualification (e.g. RA/AA accountancy qualification); particularly useful for the GL mapping and reconciliation side of the role.
- Proven experience working on and delivering cross-functional HR/Payroll projects.
- Hands-on capability working with AI tools to optimize payroll or operations workflows.
- Strong data transformation skills and practical experience with data analytics platforms.
