Solvd Inc. is a rapidly growing AI-native consulting and technology services firm delivering enterprise transformation across cloud, data, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. We work with industry-leading organizations to design, build, and operationalize technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Following the acquisition of Tooploox, a premier AI and product development company, Solvd now offers true end-to-end delivery—from strategic advisory and solution design to custom AI development and enterprise-scale implementation. Our capability centers combine deep technical expertise, proven delivery methodologies, and sector-specific knowledge to address complex business challenges quickly and effectively.
Solvd Cloud, Infra, Data & Security is growing fast, and our architecture leadership needs to keep up. We need someone who can take an unclear problem, define it, design the answer, and make sure it ships. You'll set technical direction across cloud, infrastructure, and data. You'll shape engagements and roadmaps before they're committed. And you'll stay close enough to delivery that what we design is what gets built. We operate AI-first: you'll use AI as a daily tool to move faster and multiply what you and the teams around you can deliver.
There will be ambiguity. That's the job. The plans don't exist yet, and you'll help write them.
WHY THIS ROLE, WHY NOW:
- You'll help define the business, not inherit it. The Cloud BU is rapidly scaling. The patterns, standards, and team habits you set now become how we operate.
- The scope is broad on purpose. It covers cloud foundations, Kubernetes platforms, data, and AI workloads, so you won't be boxed into one layer.
- Decisions move quickly. You'll work directly with BU leadership, and decisions take days, not quarters.
- The problems are current. The work is getting AI workloads into production safely, building data platforms that are governed, and keeping cloud spend under control.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN:
- Architecture direction. You'll define reference architectures, landing zones, and standards across AWS and Azure, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code. You'll decide what we standardize and what we leave flexible.
- Data and AI platforms. You'll design lakehouse and warehouse, streaming, and governance patterns. You'll also design the platform layer that moves GenAI and agentic workloads from prototype to production, covering access control, evaluation, observability, and cost guardrails.
- Solution shaping. You'll lead technical discovery, size and de-risk the work, and write the solution designs and technical scope that teams commit to.
- AI-accelerated delivery. You'll use AI tools across the architecture lifecycle: discovery synthesis, design drafts, IaC and code generation, review, documentation, and estimation. You'll turn what works into repeatable patterns and prompts the team adopts. You'll also set the guardrails for how AI is used with client and production data.
- Security and compliance by design. You'll own IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, and logging. Your designs need to hold up to SOC 2, ISO 27001, and regulated-industry scrutiny without slowing delivery down.
- Cost and operability. Every design ships with a run cost, reliability targets, an observability plan, and a rollback path.
- Raising the bar. You'll run design reviews, mentor architects and senior engineers, and turn repeat solutions into reusable accelerators.
WHAT YOU BRING:
Have 12+ years in infrastructure, cloud, or data engineering, including several years as the accountable architect for production systems at scale.
Have deep hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, production Kubernetes, and Terraform (or an equivalent IaC tool). You can still review a pull request credibly.
- Have designed and shipped modern data platforms, such as [Databricks / Snowflake / Fabric / Redshift], including governance and data quality, not just pipelines.
- Think security-first. IAM design, zero-trust networking, encryption, and audit readiness are defaults for you, not afterthoughts.
- Use AI as a force multiplier, not a novelty. You can show concrete examples of AI shortening your delivery timelines or expanding your output. You also know where it fails, and you verify what it produces before anything reaches production.
- Can explain a tradeoff to a CFO in the morning and debug it with an engineer in the afternoon.
- Act under ambiguity. You write the first draft of the plan instead of waiting to be handed one, then adjust it as you learn.
NICE TO HAVE
- You've put GenAI or LLM systems into production (RAG, evaluation, guardrails, agent orchestration).
- You have multi-cloud or hybrid experience at enterprise scale.
- You've worked in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or the public sector.
- You hold AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or CKA. These help but aren't required.
- You've built an architecture practice or center of excellence from an early stage.
When you join Solvd, you'll…
- Shape real-world AI-driven projects across key industries, working with clients from startup innovation to enterprise transformation.
- Be part of a global team with equal opportunities for collaboration across continents and cultures.
- Thrive in an inclusive environment that prioritizes continuous learning, innovation, and ethical AI standards.
Ready to make an impact?
If you're excited to build things that matter, champion responsible AI, and grow with some of the industry’s sharpest minds. Apply today and let’s innovate together.

You don't need to have designed benchmarks before. You do need to care about what a score means, and about when a difference between two runs is real.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build systems that keep eval results reproducible and comparable over time, as models, benchmarks and code evolve.
- Run evaluations at scale across our GPU clusters, from model serving to scoring.
- Make eval results easy to access, explore and trust, through APIs and dashboards that researchers use every day.
- Catch broken or noisy evals before they mislead research decisions.
- Support evaluation of agentic, multi-turn and tool-using models.
- Work closely with researchers to turn new evaluation needs into robust, shared tooling.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years building production-grade software, ideally large-scale ML codebases or distributed systems.
- Excellent Python and strong software-design instincts: testing, code review, CI/CD.
- Experience running workloads on GPU clusters (Slurm, Kubernetes, Ray or similar).
- Familiarity with LLM inference and evaluation.
- A product mindset: researchers are your users.
- Self-starter, low-ego, collaborative.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience building or maintaining evaluation harnesses or benchmarks.
- Hands-on experience with inference engines such as vLLM or SGLang.
- Experience with agentic or RL environments.
- Statistics for experimentation: variance estimation, significance testing.
- Open-source contributions to ML tooling.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.

About Niantic Spatial
AI has learned from almost everything online, but it still struggles with the physical world, where 99.5% of economic activity happens. It doesn’t know where things are, how spaces fit together, or what changes over time.
That’s one of the biggest unsolved problems in AI, and it’s the one we’re solving at Niantic Spatial. We build spatial AI models and services so people and machines can reason, learn and act safely in the physical world. We turn camera imagery, video, sensor data and archives into accurate, AI-readable representations of real places that robots can train in and machines can use to know exactly where they are.
In physical AI, mistakes have real consequences. That’s why we build AI grounded in measured reality, not guesswork, so the people and machines relying on it can trust it to get things right.
Our team built some of the world’s most widely used maps. Now we’re building something bigger: a living, measured record of the real world that machines can query, learn from and use to understand how places change over time. If you want to help AI understand the world we actually live in, come build with us.
About the Team
Localization is where the map meets the moment. Our localization team builds the living geospatial world model and the centimeter-level Visual Positioning System (VPS) that lets people and robots know exactly where they are, from any camera, almost anywhere on Earth.
That system is learned, not hand-built. Our localization stack has moved from classical geometry to visual models trained on billions of posed images — models that have to be accurate to the centimeter, robust to lighting and seasons and clutter, and fast enough to run in production for every query. This team sits at the junction of research and production: we take what works in a paper, make it work on our data, and make it work for customers.
About the Role
We're hiring an AI Engineer, Computer Vision, to contribute to the deep learning models at the heart of our localization system. Working alongside experienced researchers and engineers, you'll help train and iterate on the visual models — feature extractors, matchers, pose regressors, and retrieval models — that turn a single image into a precise position in the world.
This is a full-loop environment. You'll get exposure to the entire pipeline: the data the model learns on, training, evaluation, and the service that runs it in production. You'll be surrounded by people who care deeply about correctness — where a loss curve going down is not the same as a system getting better — and you'll grow into that rigor quickly.
What You'll Do
- Train and Evaluate Models — Implement, train, and evaluate visual localization models in PyTorch: local feature extraction and matching, image retrieval, pose regression, and scene-coordinate regression. Iterate on architectures, loss functions, and training loops to improve accuracy on real production captures.
- Build Data Pipelines — Contribute to high-throughput ingestion and preprocessing pipelines that turn raw imagery, poses, and 3D point clouds into training-ready datasets, including curation, sampling, and augmentation.
- Run Experiments at Scale — Run training jobs across GPU environments on our 30-billion-image corpus, working with senior engineers and ML Infrastructure to keep experiments reproducible and results interpretable.
- Extend the Benchmark — Help build and maintain the evaluation suite for localization — pose accuracy, recall across lighting and season changes, and latency under production load — so results are comparable across model versions.
- Support Production Deployment — Work with senior engineers to take models from checkpoint toward serving: export, inference optimization, and monitoring once live. Learn what it means to own a model end-to-end, not just hand off a checkpoint.
- Bridge Research and Product — Work with the Research team and Real-World Test Lab to understand how field failures translate into training data and benchmark improvements.
What You'll Bring
- Experience training deep learning models for computer vision tasks in PyTorch — through coursework, research, internships, or early industry work.
- Foundational understanding of at least one of: visual localization, learned feature matching, image retrieval, pose estimation, SLAM, or structure-from-motion, and the 3D geometry underneath them (camera models, epipolar geometry, pose parameterizations).
- Comfort working with large image or 3D datasets — preprocessing, curation, and understanding how data quality affects model behavior.
- Familiarity with GPU-based training and the ability to read and reason about training runs — identifying whether a bottleneck is in data loading, compute, or model architecture.
- Strong Python skills and a habit of writing code that others can rerun and build on.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer vision, robotics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have
- Published or contributed to work on learned localization, visual place recognition, scene-coordinate regression, or vision foundation models (CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, NeurIPS, 3DV, or equivalent).
- Experience with large-scale self-supervised or multi-view pretraining, or fine-tuning vision foundation models for geometric tasks.
- Exposure to inference optimization for edge or mobile hardware (TensorRT, ONNX, CoreML, or similar).
- Experience with petabyte-scale spatial data: point clouds, meshes, posed image collections, or geospatial indexing.
- Background in robotics, augmented reality, 3D reconstruction, digital twins, or autonomous systems.
- Prior industry or research internship experience shipping or contributing to a production CV system.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for this role is $165,600 - $221,000 per year. Compensation also includes an annual bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and more.
Location & Work Model
This role is based in our San Francisco, CA office on a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
Inclusive Application
We know the strongest candidates don't always tick every box. If you're excited about this role and believe you could do it well, we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every qualification listed — you may be exactly who we're looking for.
Equal Opportunity
Niantic Spatial is an equal opportunity employer. Individuals seeking employment at Niantic Spatial are considered without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, creed, age, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding or related medical conditions), marital status, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military or veteran status, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, or any other protected category under applicable laws. Niantic Spatial will also consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws. ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
This role sits at the applied end of our post-training research efforts. You will work directly with stakeholders from the world’s fastest-growing AI companies to post-train open-source models that outperform frontier closed models on their specialised tasks. Your day-to-day is finding creative ways to extract signal from complex, domain-specific datasets and building the reward functions, environments, eval harnesses, and training pipelines that turn that signal into better models. The models you train ship to production and reach millions of users.
We are looking for people with hands-on LLM fine-tuning and RL experience. Researchers who are excited by the prospect of shipping models into production, who can translate a customer's domain-specific requirements into an effective training curriculum, and who know when to be rigorous and when to iterate fast.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and run post-training pipelines: SFT, GRPO, DPO, RLVR, reward function engineering, and synthetic data generation.
- Build task-specific training environments and evals tailored to customer domains like healthcare, code generation, and legal, spanning multi-turn tool use, sandboxed execution, and agentic workflows.
- Work directly with customers to translate production data into training signal, designing reward loops from real usage patterns and handling distribution shift.
- Run and analyze training experiments end-to-end: diagnose reward hacking, importance sampling drift, and advantage estimation instabilities.
- Publish findings at top venues and contribute to Baseten's open-source training libraries.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on experience training LLMs with reinforcement learning — demonstrated understanding of GRPO or PPO beyond recipe-level reproduction, including group advantage computation, clipped objectives, and KL penalty design
- Strong intuition for reward engineering: the ability to distinguish between a reward that trains effectively and one that will exploit at scale
- Experience building multi-turn agent environments with tool use, not limited to single-turn question-answering setups
- Comfort working across the full pipeline from dataset construction through training, evaluation, and deployment
- Experience with production ML systems. Preference for candidates who have closed a training–inference loop where production data feeds back into model improvement
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with RL training frameworks
- Publications at NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, focused on RL for LLMs, reward modeling, or alignment
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Direct Tax Lead to own our US income tax provision, compliance, and controls, reporting to the Head of Tax. ElevenLabs operates through its US entity and ~9 international entities and is growing fast, which means the provision, the compliance calendar, and the controls around them need a dedicated owner.
This is a hands-on ownership role. The provision and returns are prepared by external providers; you manage those engagements and are accountable for the output. You'll own the quarterly and annual ASC 740 provision (deferreds, valuation allowance, uncertain tax positions, rate rec, footnote disclosures), the US federal and state compliance calendar (returns, extensions, estimated payments), and the technical work underneath it: §174 capitalization, §382 and NOL tracking.
You'll also assist in designing, documenting, and operating controls, and write the memos that support our positions, working directly with our Big 4 advisors and external auditors alongside the Head of Tax.
REQUIREMENTS
- Deep ASC 740 expertise at a multinational — provision, deferreds, valuation allowance, uncertain tax positions, rate reconciliation, and footnote disclosure
- Experience owning a US federal and multistate compliance calendar (returns, extensions, estimates)
- Working knowledge of US international provisions (NCTI/GILTI, Subpart F, FDDEI, §163(j)) and how they flow into the provision
- Experience managing Big 4 or equivalent providers and working directly with external auditors
- Has built or operated SOX controls over tax, or supported a first SOX implementation
- CPA
Bonus: pre-IPO or first-10-K experience, §174/§41 computation, §382 studies, equity compensation tax (ISOs, NSOs, RSUs), OneSource Tax Provision or similar.
GROWTH POTENTIAL
We believe in hiring the best talent in the world to make an impact in the right role at the right time. At ElevenLabs, strong performance creates opportunities for growth. Here are some of the career paths you can expect after excelling in this role:
- Build and lead the direct tax team as we bring provision and compliance in-house
- Expand into other strategic initiatives such as M&A, PE mitigation policy, corporate structuring.
- Broaden into wider tax leadership as our footprint grows
LOCATION
This role is remote-first, so it can be executed from anywhere on the east coast, New York preferred.
We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability or other legally protected statuses.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Procurement Operations is the front door for buying at Anthropic. We sit inside Finance Operations and own the path from “I need to buy something” to a signed agreement, an accurate purchase order, and clean spend data at month end.
We are hiring a Procurement Operations Business Partner to own that path for our technology spend: business applications, SaaS tools, cloud and infrastructure services, and the engineering and developer tools our teams build with. This portfolio is software heavy: new tools evaluated and onboarded regularly, licenses that renew on their own schedule, and vendors billed on seats, usage, or tiered subscription terms rather than a single invoice. You will be the person who makes buying software feel simple to the teams who depend on it and reliable to the Finance stakeholders behind it. This is a high-volume role with an accounting core. You ensure every software purchase in your portfolio is coded, dated, received, and accrued correctly, so spend is right in the books every month. Expect a steady queue of new tool requests, renewals, and license changes, and expect to be the person Accounting trusts on all of it.
We use Claude as part of our daily workflow and are looking for someone who wants to help define what an AI-native procurement operations function looks like, including how AI changes intake, contract and security review, vendor coordination, and requester support.
Responsibilities
Own the purchasing process
Manage a high volume of purchase requests, renewals, and license changes each month across the organization, keeping speed and accuracy high at the same time.
Serve as the primary procurement partner for the teams buying in your categories, guiding requesters from initial request to signed agreement and issued purchase order.
Review every purchase request in your portfolio for the things that matter downstream: the right vendor record and contracting entity, complete commercial documents, correct spend categorization and service dates, and the approvals the purchase actually needs.
Determine what else each request requires before it can move, whether that is an order form, a data privacy review, or a third party risk assessment, and route it to the right reviewers the first time.
Partner with Security to run a vendor security review on every new tool and at every renewal, and hold the line that nothing goes live without one.
Launch and track contract review with Legal, keep it moving, and confirm the executed agreement supports the purchase order before it is issued.
Structure purchase orders so they match how the vendor bills (seat-based, usage-based, tiered subscription, or flat annual fee) and how Accounting needs to see the spend, with the right GL account, cost center, and service period on every line. Manage renewals, true ups, and seat count changes over the life of each agreement.
Track license counts and renewal dates across your portfolio so nothing auto-renews or lapses by surprise, and flag underused or overlapping tools to budget owners ahead of the next renewal cycle.
Financial completeness and accuracy
Code every purchase order correctly at creation, including GL account, spend category, cost center, and service period, and understand how each choice lands in the financials (expense versus prepaid, annual versus monthly recognition).
Work the hard cases with Accounting: multi year subscriptions paid upfront, mid term seat additions, true ups, credits, and contracts amended mid cycle.
Own the open purchase order book: receipts recorded against actual delivery, periodic reviews, stale line cleanup, coding corrections, and timely closures, so PO, receipt, and invoice agree.
Serve as the first line reviewer for month-end accruals on your portfolio, gathering estimates from vendors and budget owners for variable spend and confirming or correcting proposed amounts so Accounting can close on time.
Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice holds, PO mismatches, and receiving questions so vendors are paid on time and spend lands where it belongs.
Support audit and reporting requests that touch your portfolio, including commitment schedules and control evidence, with data you can stand behind.
Be the front door
Be visible and responsive in your teams' Slack channels and office hours; answer routine purchasing questions quickly and escalate real blockers with context.
Apply purchasing policy consistently and explain the why, including approval thresholds, signature authority, and when an exception is and is not available.
Translate procurement, legal, security, and finance requirements into plain language for engineers, IT, and business stakeholders, and carry their operating reality back to those teams so controls fit the work.
Keep a regular check in with your highest volume teams so upcoming purchases and renewals are visible early and nothing urgent arrives as a surprise.
Continuous improvement
Maintain the playbooks, intake guidance, and standard operating procedures for your portfolio so the path is repeatable and does not live in one person's head.
Identify manual steps, repeat questions, and failure points and fix them, including where Claude and workflow automation with AI can take work off requesters and the team.
Minimum qualifications
Proven track record of owning a high-volume purchasing portfolio end-to-end in a procure-to-pay and intake platform.
Solid working knowledge of accrual accounting as it applies to purchasing: accruals and reversals, service period and cutoff, prepaid versus expense, and GL and cost center coding. You can explain how a purchase order becomes an entry in the general ledger.
Experience buying and managing software or SaaS at scale, including seat-based, usage-based, and tiered subscription billing models.
Experience owning the tool and vendor lifecycle end to end, from intake through security review, contracting, renewal, and sunset, with the judgment to know when to push a request through and when to slow it down.
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of procurement operations, purchasing, or vendor operations, including time supporting IT, engineering, or business systems teams.
Background in accounting, accounts payable, or a month-end close process.
Direct experience with Zip, Workday Financials, and Ironclad.
Prior ownership of month-end accrual review or open PO reconciliation for a large, variable spend portfolio.
Experience with software asset management or license optimization, including identifying underused or redundant tools.
Experience designing tiered intake or approval frameworks that sped up low risk purchases without weakening controls.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.

Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
