Location: Denver, Colorado, United States, AMER
From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran and dbt are building the open data infrastructure that powers AI agents you can trust.
Fivetran is looking for a Staff R&D Software Engineer to join our fast-growing Fivetran AI team. Your data stack was built for humans — but agents are the new primary data consumers, and they have fundamentally different requirements. Agents can’t intuit context; it must be explicitly codified, governed, and traceable. We’re building the governed context layer that solves this problem: Agents Schema, an open standard for storing agent-ready context directly in the customer’s own data warehouse, and Context Builder, the managed service that keeps it filled and fresh.
This role goes well beyond standard engineering. You’ll research emerging techniques in the fast-moving AI landscape and bring real product and market understanding to decide which ideas are worth pursuing — and then you’ll take what you’ve learned and ship it as production software. We’re looking for a true generalist who is willing and able to wear whatever hat the moment calls for: prototyping a new retrieval technique one week, hardening a backend service the next, then doing SRE or QA work when the team needs it. At this level, you’re expected to be a trusted expert beyond your own team — defining technical direction that other teams build on, taking high-level direction and turning it into concrete plans with a high degree of independence, and using sound judgment to decide what deserves your attention. Fivetran AI operates like a startup within Fivetran, and we need engineers who thrive on that range and ambiguity rather than staying in one lane.
Fivetran is the epitome of data-driven development — our engineering team is focused on building a world class product that:
Builds Infrastructure Agents Can Trust
— join our mission to deliver the governed context layer that AI agents depend on: accurate semantic definitions, traceable lineage, data contracts, and auditable history baked in from the start.
Embraces Open Standards
— help build portable, interoperable data infrastructure: Agents Schema, open formats (Iceberg, Delta Lake), MCP-native interfaces, and connector skills that work with any model and any compute.
Scales Without Breaking
— work to make Fivetran AI efficient at agent scale, where unit costs deflate as volume grows and context retrieval is fast, accurate, and cost-controlled.
We emphasize using no-nonsense tools and take great pride in the simplicity and effectiveness of the systems we build. Our back-end is built on Java, Python, Postgres, and Kubernetes, and our front-end is built on React and TypeScript.
This is a full-time hybrid position based out of our Denver, CO office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
Technologies You’ll Use
Python, Java, SQL, dbt, LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini), vector databases, BigQuery / Snowflake / Databricks, MCP protocol, React, TypeScript, Kubernetes
What You’ll Do
Research emerging techniques in retrieval, reasoning, and agentic AI, and decide what’s actually worth pursuing for Fivetran AI’s roadmap — then convince others
Prototype new ideas quickly, then take the ones that prove out and turn them into shipped, production-grade features
Define technical direction that spans multiple teams within Fivetran AI, ensuring architecture decisions made in one area don’t create problems in another
Build and maintain both back-end and front-end systems for the Fivetran AI product — from Agents Schema pipelines to the Context Catalog UI
Drive the AISQL capability forward: natural language to SQL grounded in dbt metric definitions, executed natively against the warehouse
Take ownership of production reliability across the platform: on-call rotation, incident response, and SRE work to keep the system trustworthy at scale
Set the bar for testing and QA practices, and do hands-on QA work yourself when it matters most
Use coding agents to automate the repetitive parts of the job, freeing up time for the research and design work that needs a human
Take high-level direction from product and leadership and independently define and execute the concrete plan to get there
Mentor other engineers and raise the technical bar across the Fivetran AI team
Contribute to hiring by participating in and helping shape the interview process
Skills We’re Looking For
8+ years of programming experience across Python and/or Java, with the ability to move fluidly between back-end and front-end work
Considered a trusted expert beyond your own team, able to exert influence and define technical direction across multiple teams
Comfortable reading AI/ML research and turning promising findings into working prototypes, then production systems
Strong product and market awareness — able to judge which emerging techniques are worth building versus which are hype
Track record of taking ambiguous, high-level direction and independently defining and executing the concrete work to deliver it
Experience with SQL and data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar)
Genuine willingness to work across the full stack: research, backend, frontend, SRE, and QA, as the team’s needs demand
Writes well-structured, performant code and can dive into unfamiliar codebases to suggest improvements
Experience using coding agents or similar AI tooling to speed up day-to-day engineering work
Demonstrated ability to mentor other engineers and influence technical decisions beyond your immediate team
Thrives in a startup-like environment with shifting priorities and a high degree of ownership
Bonus Skills
Experience with LLM-powered applications — RAG pipelines, embeddings, evaluation frameworks, or agent frameworks
Familiarity with semantic layers — dbt, LookML, Sigma, or similar
Experience with the MCP (Model Context Protocol) ecosystem or building AI agent integrations
Background in site reliability engineering — monitoring, alerting, incident response
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or building data connectors
Experienced working in a cloud environment utilizing AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, or Docker
Contributions to open source AI or data projects

About the Opportunity
The Workplace IT Specialist ensures a reliable, secure, and high-quality workplace technology experience for employees across our EEA-region offices. Based in our Malta office, this role is the primary owner of local office IT and workplace facilities, and the first-line point of contact for EEA-region user support. The role also provides remote backup and support for other EEA offices as needed, and works as part of our Global IT team.
Second-line support for SaaS platforms and network infrastructure is handled by the broader Global IT team; this role focuses on delivering first-line support and knowing when to escalate. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically curious, works well independently, and looks for ways to improve day-to-day IT operations through automation and process improvements.
What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver responsive technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, business applications, and workplace technology, ensuring timely resolution of employee issues for the Malta office and EEA-region users.
Provide first-line, user-facing support for our collaboration, productivity, and business applications, helping employees resolve day-to-day usage questions.
Manage the local endpoint lifecycle — device provisioning, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, asset inventory, and secure device retirement — in line with Global IT standards and security policies.
Partner with HR and hiring managers to deliver smooth onboarding and offboarding: device preparation, account provisioning, access requests, and introducing new employees to IT systems, security practices, and workplace technology.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the local office's workplace technology, including conference room AV systems, video conferencing, VOIP, printers, CCTV, access control systems, and other office infrastructure.
Troubleshoot first-line endpoint, networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, identity, and access issues, escalating to and collaborating with the Global IT Operations team on anything beyond first-line.
Support Global IT initiatives, office moves, technology refreshes, and security projects as they affect the local office and the EEA region.
Create and maintain knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation, using AI-powered tools and automation to improve documentation quality and reduce repetitive work.
Own the local end-user support experience: manage support requests, maintain SLA adherence, spot recurring issues, and suggest improvements to IT service delivery.
What We Look For In You
2+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, IT Operations, or a similar enterprise technical support environment.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
Strong experience supporting macOS in an enterprise environment.
Experience supporting enterprise productivity platforms such as Google Workspace and Lark Suite, with a working understanding of SSO authentication fundamentals, endpoint security, password management, and drive encryption.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, operating systems, networking basics, and endpoint technologies.
Fluent, professional English, with the ability to communicate clearly with employees at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership. (Hard requirement.)
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently as the sole on-site IT presence in Malta, with sound judgment on when to escalate to the broader Global IT team.
Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and produce high-quality documentation.

RevenueCat gives app businesses the infrastructure and tools to build, run, and improve their monetization. Since graduating from YC's S18 batch, we've grown into the default monetization platform for mobile.
We're in 50%+ of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $16B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo developer to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.
We're a remote-first team of 150+ people across 25+ countries, guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance.
This isn't the right fit for everyone. The systems you’ll build here manage billions of dollars and touch hundreds of millions of end users, and we don’t take that lightly. You'll be expected to work hard and hold a high bar for what you ship, alongside some of the sharpest, most driven people you've worked with. If that sounds energizing rather than exhausting, keep reading.
THE ROLE
RevenueCat helps apps of all shapes and sizes make more money across mobile, the web, and a growing list of other platforms like Roku, Amazon, and even AR through support for Vision Pro. As a result, many different types of users log in and use RevenueCat on a day-to-day basis. Product managers, support reps, lifecycle marketers, user acquisition specialists, data analysts, executives: the list goes on.
Communicating the growing breadth of use cases supported by RevenueCat in a way that makes sense for all those different types of businesses, apps, and users is a challenge. And that’s where product marketing comes in.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our growing Product Marketing team led by Francie https://www.linkedin.com/in/francief/. Each Senior PMM owns a product area end-to-end, partnering with that area's product managers on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market. This is not a segment-specific role: RevenueCat serves everyone from solo indie developers to top-tier enterprise apps, often through the very same product surface, so you'll craft messaging and channels that flex across that full spectrum. This role is perfect for someone who:
- Knows APIs and SDKs like their ABCs. Code may not be your craft, but you know how to talk the talk. Software developers are one of our core audiences, and they can smell BS a mile away. You can debug marketing messaging so it resonates with technical audiences, and craft narratives around the 1’s and 0’s that still land with business stakeholders.
- Captains their own ship. You have a strong bias toward action and you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty on execution. Whether it’s juggling strategic and tactical work or navigating shifting priorities, you thrive on autonomy and love making things happen.
- Distills collaborative chaos. You’re comfortable raising your hand and getting what you need from a dynamic and technical organization. Whether it’s nudging engineers for product updates or rallying Sales for customer stories, you can navigate the chaos and advocate for what the GTM org needs.
- Gets excited about the unexpected. At RevenueCat we take shipping seriously, and are constantly adapting our product and strategies to meet the needs of developers. You see changes in direction and shifts in strategy as an opportunity to flex your creative muscles and learn on the fly.
- Is a little quirky. You love a whimsical side quest and you can see the soft side of software. We pride ourselves in keeping our community on their toes with unique swag, challenges and events. You can play as big a role as you’d like in helping to brainstorm and bring these quirky concepts to life.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- GTM and adoption campaigns: Own key product areas to deeply understand the features we’re launching and the use cases and needs behind them. Craft compelling communication plans both within the organization, and to existing and prospective customers.
- Lifecycle campaign building: Working with our marketing operations team to execute insight-based lifecycle campaigns to drive adoption, retention and community.
- Web page design and optimization: Translate product messaging and customer understanding into visually compelling and highly converting web experiences with the help of our external web development agency. You’ll chart the vision for the story our website tells and the illustrations, animations and tools we create to convey it.
- Case studies and testimonials: Organizing, facilitating, and translating customer interviews into compelling case studies and testimonials that showcase the value of RevenueCat.
- Internal enablement: As an expert in your areas of product focus, you’ll empower developer-facing teams with the resources and training they need to support developers and ensure their success.
- Market insights: Keeping your finger on the pulse of the mobile app industry and competitors to inform go-to-market strategies and uncover new opportunities for growth.
- Whimsical side quests: Taking on unique projects with minimal instruction, coordinating the collection of 1000 screenshots to launch Paywalls.com http://Paywalls.com, designing, printing and shipping a calendar of cat photos, hosting the World Paywall Speed Building Championships https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcnUYWLo-I4, or crafting a keynote speech for leadership. You’ll get to work on projects that stretch your creative muscles.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing within a B2B or B2D SaaS environment, preferably targeting developers or software companies. RevenueCat runs a hybrid motion - self-serve/PLG for indie developers alongside a sales-assisted motion for larger accounts - so experience with either end of that spectrum is valuable; you won't need to have done both to succeed here.
- Previous experience as a solo-marketer is preferred. While you’ll have the broader marketing and product marketing teams to lean on, our async, entrepreneurial culture is best suited to someone who is comfortable independently driving projects forward, making progress amid changing processes, and actively enlisting cross-functional support when needed.
- Experience owning end-to-end go-to-market efforts, including tier 1 product launches. Strong project management skills to prioritize multiple initiatives and execute effectively across teams.
- Strong creative instincts and direction. You’ve led the charge on web design work and aren’t afraid to sketch, prototype in Figma, or use AI tools to get to an ugly starting point. Comfortable collaborating with external creative agencies and freelancers to deliver high-quality assets.
- Excellent editorial judgment: you understand audience, tone, and communication objectives, and you can elevate copy through clear direction and feedback. You will not need to write everything yourself, but you’re comfortable jumping in to draft a narrative outline or even a blog post when necessary, and you know when to pass work forward to the content team or a technical writer
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment and buy-in from key stakeholders.
- A proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling messaging that resonates with different audiences, both internally and externally.
- The resourcefulness to take on unique, sometimes ambiguous projects that require initiative and problem-solving.
IDEALLY YOU:
- Have experience in the mobile app ecosystem or working with subscription-based software products.
- Have worked in an early-stage tech company or led new initiatives independently in a larger organization.
- Have experience working as a solo marketer or solo PMM within an organization.
- Are comfortable with tools like Notion, Slack, Zoom, and Linear for remote collaboration.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH, YOU’LL:
- Gain hands-on experience with the RevenueCat platform, supported by our engineers and advocates.
- Build a foundational understanding of the app ecosystem, particularly around monetization.
- Establish relationships with key collaborators across Product, Sales, and Marketing.
- Deliver your “first ship,” a project that demonstrates your insights and adds real value to the team.
WITHIN THE FIRST 3 MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Step into the role as the go-to-market owner for your specific product areas, becoming an expert on relevant features, their roadmap and related market segments.
- Own the go-to-market efforts for product areas, leading cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of awareness and adoption efforts.
- Craft and distribute internal enablement materials and training related to your product areas.
- Publish a new landing page, leading the concept, briefing, design and written copy process, with execution by our web agency.
- Conduct customer research to deepen your understanding of our audience’s challenges and goals, and publish a customer case study.
WITHIN THE FIRST 6 MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Own and optimize the self-serve adoption funnel for your product areas, partnering with Growth and Product and leveraging lifecycle marketing to turn feature interest into activation and long-term retention.
- Level up your product area’s sales motion by revamping core pitch materials, competitive positioning, and objection handling.
- Partner with Product to translate customer and market insights into clear roadmap recommendations.
- Contribute to a whimsical side quest that adds to our brand and community.
AFTER 12 MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Be a trusted partner across Product, Sales, and Marketing, contributing strategically to RevenueCat’s growth.
- Have led multiple successful product launches, including a tier 1 launch, and owned key marketing initiatives.
- Represent RevenueCat at industry events and conferences
- Deepen your knowledge of app development and monetization, becoming an expert in the space.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator
- 10-year window to exercise vested equity options
- A fully remote environment designed around autonomy and flexibility
- 4-5 weeks of flexible time off annually
- Paid desk at a co-working space
- Workspace budget and continuous learning stipend

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to own the post-sales technical relationship for a portfolio of our largest enterprise customers, taking it over from the Solutions Architect (SA) at deal close. Your focus is continuity: customers renew the annual TAM engagement because their technical outcomes improve each year. This role requires travel to customer offices 4 to 8 times a year.
What you'll do
Own the post-sales technical relationship and the annual TAM renewal for a portfolio of enterprise accounts, running a weekly check-in, monthly review, quarterly business review (QBR), and annual roadmap workshop for each
Lead incident follow-through when an escalation or a pattern of incidents emerges: run the post-mortem, find the architectural root cause, own the remediation roadmap, and respond to priority 1 and 2 escalations within 4 business hours
Deliver proactive architectural reviews, technical risk mapping, cost and usage optimization, and pre-launch readiness assessments
Scope hands-on engineering work for Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) and audits for Professional Services, and track their outcomes into the customer's technical roadmap, without shipping production code yourself
Relay customer technical needs to Product, Engineering, and Support, and hold those teams to the commitments you have made to your customers
What you need
5+ years in customer-facing technical roles at a platform, infrastructure, or developer tools company, such as technical account management, solutions architecture, developer success engineering, or support engineering
Owned customer relationships at the $1M+ annual contract value (ACV) tier, including QBRs, roadmap workshops, and renewals
Architected, debugged, and optimized production systems on Next.js and Vercel, including App Router, incremental static regeneration (ISR) and caching, Fluid Compute, and the AI SDK
Led technical outcomes across Engineering, Product, and Support without formal authority, and written the incident summaries, post-mortems, and executive readouts that came out of them
Bonus if you
Carried a TAM portfolio at a hyperscaler, infrastructure platform, or developer tools company, such as AWS, Cloudflare, Datadog, or GitHub
Built AI agents with the Vercel AI SDK or Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers
Led cloud financial operations (FinOps) or cost-optimization engagements, or ran an annual roadmap workshop or Well-Architected Review for an enterprise customer

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
🚀 WHY JOIN CARE OPS IN 2026? 🚀
You might look at Alan’s Care team today—managing high volumes seamlessly, supported by strong partners, and automating 50 of conversations—and ask: "It works, so why join now?"
Yet, the most exciting part is still ahead. We are at a turning point as we prepare to support millions of members and push to set the standards in the industry.
Here is why this is the moment to join.
- People: This is the opportunity to join a team with incredibly high talent density, operating with distributed ownership—empowered Crew Leads, strong deputies, and Guillaume Poirier https://www.linkedin.com/in/guillaume-p-34602923/ as Care Ops Lead. It is a proven engine for creating talent and fueling internal mobility.
- Processes: We absorb high volumes without glitches (including Ministry of Finance in France) and collaborate smoothly with Product and Sales. We trust and work hand-in-hand with solid external partners in France and Spain.
- Innovation: We are one of the few companies in the world claiming to automate 40% of member conversations as of the end of 2025 (a true market benchmark).
We're building an organization capable of serving 3 million members with a lean team. To get there, we need people who can build scalable systems (analytical and operational) that make this possible.
What this means for the role you're joining:
- Our operations are getting smarter, and our analytics need to keep up: We don't just need dashboards. We need to understand what drives performance, spot problems early, and help teams decide faster. You'll build this.
- Our planning is getting more complex: More countries, more automation, more partner teams. We need better models to know how many people we need, where, and when.
- Our tools need to scale: What works with manual effort today won't work at 3x the volume. You'll build AI-powered tools and workflows that make operations smoother across the board.
Recognition: We are building something unique, yet we are not yet known externally as the reference for Care operations.
⭐ THE CARE OPS ROLE ⭐
The Care Ops team supports the Care Community globally (France, Belgium, Spain, Canada) by providing tools, processes, and data to deliver on our Roadmap and Strategic Plan. Care Ops is accountable for operational excellence and efficiency in Care, enabling the Community to scale without any compromise on user experience.
We are looking for a Care Ops who loves numbers, builds tools, and wants to have a real impact on how we run operations at scale.
You'll join a team of 10 and work across the full spectrum of our operations: understanding what drives our performance, building the tools and models that help us make better decisions, and collaborating daily with Data, Engineering, Product, and Care teams.
One week you'll be deep in a staffing model, the next you'll be building an AI-powered reporting tool, the next you'll be presenting a performance deep dive to Crew Leads.
Some of our missions include:
1/ Performance analytics and operational insights
- Build and improve dashboards and reports that help teams understand what's happening and why. Not just track numbers — explain them.
- Conduct deep dives into operational performance (response times, resolution quality, contact drivers) and deliver concrete recommendations.
- Help define and maintain our key metrics across countries: what do we measure, where does the data live, how do we make it reliable.
- Work closely with our Data team and Care Crew Leads to turn data into decisions.
2/ Planning, forecasting, and resource optimization
- Help build and improve our staffing models: how many people do we need, when, and where? How does automation change the equation?
- Contribute to simplifying our planning tools and processes
- Work with our external partners on capacity planning and delivery tracking.
- Challenge how we do things today.
3/ Tooling and AI
- Build and improve operational tools using AI and no-code solutions (Dust, Claude, automation platforms). You'll probably build half your tools with AI.
- Identify where current processes don't scale and propose solutions — sometimes a simple script, sometimes a product need.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering crews to push efficiency needs into the roadmap.
⭐ JOIN THE CARE TEAM! ⭐️
You will excel as a Care Ops if you:
- Communicate clearly in English and French, written and verbal. You'll work with many teams and clarity matters.
- Think in numbers. You're comfortable with data, spreadsheets, and ideally SQL. You build models, not just read dashboards.
- Have a performance mindset. You want to understand why a metric moves. You look for root causes and push for action.
- Are curious about AI and tooling. You use AI tools in your daily work and see them as building blocks. You're excited to learn and experiment.
- Get your hands dirty. You dig into the details, fix what's broken, and don't wait for someone else to do it.
- Have 2-5 years of experience in operations, analytics, consulting, or a similar role — ideally in a tech or startup environment.
- Have an organized and structured mindset.
- Can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Our ideal candidate thrives in a startup or tech company environment and is excited about the opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing company. If this sounds like you, then you might just be the Care Ops we're looking for.
We value diversity and encourage individuals from varied experiences and backgrounds to apply. Join our Care team and contribute to our mission of delivering an exceptional user experience.
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the B1-C1 level range https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.

About the Role
Fivetran and dbt are building the open data infrastructure that powers AI agents you can trust.
Fivetran is looking for a Senior R&D Software Engineer to join our fast-growing Fivetran AI team.
Fivetran AI operates like a startup within Fivetran, and we need engineers who thrive on that range rather than staying in one lane.
This is a full-time hybrid position based out of our New York, NY office.
What You’ll Do
Research emerging techniques in retrieval, reasoning, and agentic AI, and evaluate what’s actually relevant to Fivetran AI’s roadmap
Prototype new ideas quickly, then take the ones that prove out and turn them into shipped, production-grade features
Build and maintain both back-end and front-end systems for the Fivetran AI product — from Agents Schema pipelines to the Context Catalog UI
Contribute to the AISQL capability: natural language to SQL grounded in dbt metric definitions, executed natively against the warehouse
Take ownership of production reliability: on-call rotation, incident response, and SRE work to keep the platform trustworthy at scale
Write and maintain tests, and do hands-on QA to catch issues before customers do
Use coding agents to automate the repetitive parts of the job, freeing up time for the research and design work that needs a human
Partner with product and design, bringing your own understanding of the AI tooling market to shape what gets built next
Develop software designs and contribute to the technical roadmap for the Fivetran AI platform
Contribute to hiring by participating in the interview process
Skills We’re Looking For
5+ years of programming experience across Python and/or Java, with the ability to move fluidly between back-end and front-end work
Considered a trusted expert in your subject area, capable of executing complex, ambiguous tasks with minimal hand-holding
Comfortable reading AI/ML research and turning promising findings into working prototypes
Strong product and market awareness — able to judge which emerging techniques are worth building versus which are hype
Experience using coding agents or similar AI tooling to speed up day-to-day engineering work
Analytical mindset to identify gaps in existing systems and design practical, pragmatic improvements

You’ll research emerging techniques in the fast-moving AI landscape and bring real product and market understanding to decide which ideas are worth pursuing — and then you’ll take what you’ve learned and ship it as production software. We’re looking for a true generalist who is willing and able to wear whatever hat the moment calls for: prototyping a new retrieval technique one week, hardening a backend service the next, then doing SRE or QA work when the team needs it. Fivetran AI operates like a startup within Fivetran, and we need engineers who thrive on that range rather than staying in one lane.
This is a full-time hybrid position based out of our Austin, TX office.
What You’ll Do
Research emerging techniques in retrieval, reasoning, and agentic AI, and evaluate what’s actually relevant to Fivetran AI’s roadmap
Experience using coding agents or similar AI tooling to speed up day-to-day engineering work
Analytical mindset to identify gaps in existing systems and design practical, pragmatic improvements

Fivetran is looking for a Senior R&D Software Engineer to join our fast-growing Fivetran AI team.

We're hiring a Head of Professional Services to build and lead Vercel's global professional services organization, composed of our Technical Account Management (TAM) and Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) functions. These functions embed directly with our most strategic customers to design, build, and ship production applications on Vercel using Vercel's core platform, Next.js and our agent stack, taking projects from first prototype through production rollout. You will define how this function operates: the engagement model, the delivery methodology, the commercial structure, and the team itself.
You will report directly to our Global Head of Field Engineering, and partner closely with GTM and Product Leadership to run a business function that turns our largest customers' complex implementations into production deployments, drives adoption and expansion, and feeds what you learn in the field back into our product roadmap.
This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, Austin or New York, with 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday) required in office.
What you'll do
Define the engagement model: how engagements are scoped, staffed, sequenced, and measured, and which accounts qualify for embedded support.
Own delivery excellence for strategic customer engagements, from discovery and technical scoping through production deployment and stabilization.
Establish the commercial model for professional services, including packaging, pricing, capacity planning, and resource allocation across competing customer priorities.
Stay hands-on where it matters: architecture reviews, system design, and unblocking critical engagements alongside your team.
Codify field learnings into repeatable playbooks, reference architectures, and delivery patterns that scale beyond individual engagements
What you need
10+ years in software engineering, forward deployed engineering, or technical consulting roles, with at least 5 years leading customer-facing engineering or delivery teams in a high-growth environment.
Experience building a team, function, or service line from zero, including hiring, methodology, and operating model.
Strong background in modern web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, cloud infrastructure) with the ability to review code and whiteboard architectures credibly.
Experience building or deploying LLM-powered applications and an understanding of how model behavior shapes product decisions.
Commercial acumen: you have scoped, priced, and delivered technical engagements for enterprise customers and understand utilization, margin, and capacity tradeoffs
Bonus if you
Have built with Vercel, Next.js, AI SDK, or v0.
Have led forward deployed or embedded engineering teams at an AI-native or developer platform company.
Have owned a professional services P&L or defined services pricing and packaging from scratch.
Are comfortable representing the function externally at conferences, customer executive briefings, or large-scale events.
Benefits & Compensation:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $300,000 - $370,000 plus annual bonus. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.
