From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Core team behind dbt V2, dbt’s next-generation engine. This is a backfill role for an engineering leader who can combine strong software-engineering judgment with people leadership, product partnership, and the ability to navigate a highly cross-functional technical area.
The Core team is responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving the Rust-based engine that powers dbt Fusion. The team primarily works on the dbt V2 runtime itself, SQL language features powered by Static Analysis, and new ELT primitives.
The role sits at the center of several parts of the dbt product: the engine and orchestration, the IDE and developer experience, adapters and data warehouses, and our new compute offering, LakeCompute. You’ll help the team make sound technical and product decisions while keeping a stable GA product moving forward.
About the Team
The Core team is part of a broader organization that includes adapters, growth, the VS Code extension, compute, and other closely connected teams. It partners frequently with Product and with the teams responsible for orchestration, IDE experiences, adapters, and LakeCompute.
In this role, you can expect to:
Lead, coach, and develop a fluid team of approximately 8 engineers working on a critical part of the dbt product.
Establish clarity across a technically demanding roadmap with multiple product and engineering stakeholders.
Partner closely with Product to translate ambiguous requirements into realistic engineering scope, sequencing, and estimates.
Help the team balance new feature development, engine maintenance, framework modernization, documentation, and the stability of a GA product.
Guide end-to-end technical design across the engine and its integration points with orchestration, the IDE, adapters, warehouses, and late compute.
Support engineers in making sound tradeoffs across product value, technical quality, performance, compatibility, and delivery risk.
Actively contribute to technical design and implementation alongside the team.
Work with peer engineering leaders to coordinate initiatives that span multiple teams and systems.
Build an environment where engineers can do high-quality work, grow their scope, and take ownership of meaningful technical problems.
Help shape the next phase of dbt Fusion as a language-aware transformation engine used by the broader data community.
Mandatory skills
Experience leading teams through multiple concurrent priorities and diverse integration points.
Strong software-engineering fundamentals and prior experience as a senior/staff engineer, technical lead, or equivalent hands-on technical leader.
Ability to lead or facilitate system design from problem definition through implementation and delivery.
Ability to translate complex or ambiguous product requirements into credible engineering estimates, milestones, and tradeoffs.
Demonstrated judgment in balancing roadmap delivery with reliability, maintainability, technical debt, and product quality.
A hands-on technical orientation, including a willingness and ability to stay close to code and engineering details.
You are a good fit if you have:
Led a software team through the full development lifecycle: discovery, design, implementation, testing, release, operation, and iteration.
Worked on products with substantial technical complexity, integration surfaces, or platform dependencies.
Successfully partnered with Product and other engineering teams to create a stable roadmap and make difficult prioritization decisions.
Experience in data transformation, orchestration, query engines, databases, developer tools, compilers, language tooling, or a closely related area. Direct dbt experience is helpful but not required.
The ability to explain complex technical systems clearly to engineers, product partners, and candidates with different levels of technical depth.
A track record of developing strong engineers while maintaining a high technical bar.
Comfort operating in a fluid environment where team boundaries, priorities, and scope may evolve.
You’ll have an edge if you have:
Experience with Rust or another systems programming language, compilers, query planning, language servers, IDE tooling, or developer platforms.
Experience building or operating data transformation, orchestration, warehouse, or execution systems.
Contributions to open-source projects or experience working with open standards and open technical communities.
Familiarity with ecosystems such as Apache Arrow, Apache Iceberg, DuckDB, ADBC, or related data and execution technologies.
Experience with SQL semantics, query optimization, transpilation across dialects, data lineage, governance, or developer-facing language features.
Experience working in a remote-first or distributed organization with strong written communication practices.
Startup or scale-up experience and comfort wearing multiple hats while the organization evolves.

An overview of this role
This is an overnight shift role with working hours of 12:00am - 7:00am EST.
As a Support Engineer on our U.S. Government Support Engineering team, you operate at the critical intersection of Support and Engineering, enabling public sector organizations and United States government agencies to run GitLab in some of the most secure and constrained environments in the world. Your work directly supports national security missions, including customers operating within FedRAMP-authorized, air-gapped, and classified or semi-classified environments where traditional troubleshooting approaches are not always possible.
In this role, you will engage deeply with GitLab through the command line; analyzing logs, system behavior, and application performance with strong Linux fundamentals and an understanding of how GitLab’s components interact end-to-end. You may partner with Product and Engineering to reproduce and document edge-case defects using sanitized or redacted data, or contribute directly to the product by opening merge requests that resolve customer-impacting issues. Beyond resolving individual cases, you’ll help strengthen GitLab by improving documentation, support workflows, and institutional knowledge, ensuring that lessons learned in highly regulated environments benefit the broader platform; all while working in a fully remote, highly collaborative environment built on trust, autonomy, and shared ownership.
Some examples of our projects:
A tool to quickly analyze strace output
A solution to capture the state of a customer’s server for easier troubleshooting
A functionality to ChatOps to make it easier to identify user accounts on GitLab.com
What you’ll do
Collaborate closely with public sector customers, including U.S. government agencies, the Department of War, and Intelligence Community organizations, to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in GitLab deployments operating under strict security, compliance, and operational constraints.
Perform deep, hands-on technical investigations using Linux command-line tooling and GitLab internals to analyze logs, system performance, and application behavior, often with limited telemetry or incomplete datasets. You will trace issues across infrastructure, application, and code paths to identify root causes, recommend mitigations, and drive durable fixes; frequently partnering with GitLab Product, Development, and Infrastructure teams to ensure outcomes that meet both mission and platform reliability requirements.
Create and update clear, reusable documentation and support content based on real customer interactions to improve self-service and reduce repeated issues.
Participate in regular
pairing sessions
with other Support Engineers and act as a
stable counterpart
to cross-functional teams to share knowledge and improve support processes.
Contribute to building and refining internal support tools and workflows, including automation and troubleshooting utilities, to make diagnosing and resolving issues more efficient.
Participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations, providing timely emergency support for self-managed customers operating in restricted and compliance-focused environments.
Support the growth of the team by reviewing applications and assessments, and participating in interviews and hiring decision discussions.
What you’ll bring
Due to government security requirements, you must be a United States Citizen (defined as any individual who is a citizen of the United States by law, birth, or naturalization) to be eligible for this position
Experience managing customer-facing cases across the full support lifecycle, from initial inquiry and triage through reproduction, escalation, and resolution
Strong Linux systems administration knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot performance and configuration issues in complex environments
Familiarity with AI/LLM-powered developer tooling and gateway architectures (for example GitLab Duo, AI gateway configurations, or similar model-serving/proxy layers), including how they're deployed and troubleshot in self-managed or air-gapped environments
Ability to use scripting languages (preferably Ruby or Bash) and work within model-view-controller frameworks (preferably Ruby on Rails) to investigate and resolve issues
Practical experience with Git and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows
Skill in creating and maintaining clear, accurate support content and technical documentation
Ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear, empathetic way to customers and coworkers with varying technical backgrounds
Familiarity with DevOps practices and container-orchestration technologies such as OpenShift and Kubernetes
Understanding of common information security and compliance concepts and controls (for example DISA STIG and SELinux), and eligibility to work on United States federal customer environments as required for this role
About the team
At GitLab Federal, LLC, the U.S. Government Support Engineering team partners with public sector organizations and United States government agencies to support GitLab in highly secure, mission-critical environments. Our work directly enables national security outcomes, supporting customers across the Intelligence Community, Department of War, and other federal, state, and local government entities operating within regulated and restricted boundaries.
We are embedded within Support Engineering and work closely with Product, Development, Infrastructure, Customer Success, and Sales to solve complex, high-impact technical challenges. Our team frequently dives into code, logs, and architectural behavior to understand not just what is failing, but why; especially in environments with sanitized data, limited visibility, and strict compliance controls such as FedRAMP. We collaborate asynchronously across time zones and through structured pairing and discussion to share knowledge, strengthen solutions, and continuously improve how GitLab supports secure, air-gapped, and regulated deployments, while upholding GitLab's standards for rigor, transparency, and technical excellence.

What this role is about
You'll manage a team of Assigned Support Engineers who provide relationship-based technical support to GitLab's biggest enterprise customers. ASEs work proactively with customers to find root causes and prevent repeat issues, which is different from working a ticket queue. They also turn their actions and activity into outcomes and deliverables that show customers the ROI they get from GitLab.
You'll build a team that works independently, owns issues from start to finish, and knows when to ask for help. When a customer relationship is in trouble, you'll work alongside the account teams to bring it back to health. You'll also help improve the ASE program in ways that matter to customers and to the company.
What you'll do
Hire, coach, and develop ASEs. Hold regular 1:1s, give direct feedback, deal with performance issues early, and build a team where people feel safe raising problems.
Pay attention to engagement and retention, and coach the team on GitLab's values and operating principles.
Train ASEs to run technical interviews so the hiring pipeline doesn't depend on you.
Set clear goals and expectations, track progress across onboarding, relationships, escalations, and KPIs, and connect the team's work to company priorities. Help ASEs prioritize across accounts when everything feels urgent.
Lead escalations from start to finish. Work with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Customer Success to get the right people moving, and keep the customer informed and confident in the plan.
Work alongside the account teams to bring at-risk customers back to health, including renewal and expansion risk driven by support concerns. Build the recovery plan, drive the technical side, and report on progress until the customer is stable.
Help ASEs translate their actions and activity into outcomes, deliverables, and ROI, and present that to customers and executives in clear decks that cover what happened, what you're doing about it, and what comes next.
Work with the ASE leadership team on initiatives that improve the program and customer outcomes, and see yours through to results.
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, CSMs, Product, and Engineering to push for what customers need, and contribute utilization and onboarding data to capacity and headcount planning with Finance and sales leadership.
Document how the team works and find ways to make it more efficient through tools, process changes, and automation. Use AI well in your own work and coach ASEs to do the same.
What you'll bring
5+ years in technical support, with at least 2 years managing customer-facing technical teams.
Experience with high-touch or assigned support for enterprise customers. Professional services delivery counts. Experience across Self-Managed, GitLab Dedicated, and GitLab.com is a plus.
A strong record of handling escalations with both internal teams and customers. You stay calm, keep people aligned, and know when to bring in leadership.
The ability to turn a complicated or nuanced situation into a clear written story and tie activity to outcomes with numbers.
A customer-centric approach balanced with good judgment about what the service, the team, and the company can deliver, and experience working with account teams to bring struggling customers back to health.
A record of getting work done across teams through influence and strong working relationships. You can work with Sales, CS, and account teams to set clear expectations for the ASE service and find the right path for each customer.
Willingness to be available outside standard hours, including weekends, for the occasional critical escalation or customer-impacting incident.
Comfort with ambiguity and change. You keep a team steady while priorities, processes, and the program evolve, and you explain the reasons for changes so people stay engaged.
A strong technical foundation to guide engineers in complex, production-critical environments, including Linux system administration and web application development concepts. Familiarity with Git, DevOps practices, or GitLab is helpful.
A history of developing engineers at different skill levels through real feedback, mentoring, and clear expectations.
Process skills that make a team more efficient without adding bureaucracy, and comfort leading a remote, globally distributed team using metrics and customer feedback.
About the team
The ASE team is spread across AMER, EMEA, and APAC and works mostly async, with regular pairing sessions, 1:1s, and Slack. We support GitLab's largest and most strategic customers, who run GitLab in production-critical environments. We dig into code and logs, work across departments, and focus on root cause, trends, preventing repeat issues, and providing the technical acumen that helps customers get the most value out of GitLab for their business.

Location: United States, Remote
The Business Development & Partnerships team plays an important role in our go-to-market strategy by building and scaling the ecosystem that surrounds Chainalysis, from technology alliances to system integrators and resellers. The team is responsible for identifying and developing inorganic growth opportunities, unlocking new routes to market, and fostering a diverse partner ecosystem that amplifies our reach while making it easier for customers to buy and deploy Chainalysis.
The Channel Partnerships Manager, Americas will own the day-to-day management of channel partners across the region, with a focus on activating, enabling, and growing a defined set of channel partners. This role is focused on regional execution and will be responsible for helping partners and internal field teams work together more effectively to drive pipeline, revenue, and market coverage in the Americas.
In this role, you’ll:
- Build strong working relationships with key partners in-region, including SI’s, consulting firms, resellers, distributors, and MSPs, and serve as the primary point of contact for partner engagement within the geo.
- Drive partner enablement so partners can effectively position Chainalysis, qualify opportunities, navigate sales plays, and work within our channel processes and requirements.
- Develop and execute joint plans with priority partners in AMER to increase partner-sourced pipeline, improve partner engagement, and expand partner contribution to regional growth.
- Work closely with regional sales leaders, AEs, RevOps, Marketing, and Partnerships to align partners to the right accounts, opportunities, and go-to-market motions in-region.
- Identify high-potential regional partners to prioritize, grow existing partner performance, and help recruit new partners where there is clear market opportunity or coverage need.
- Support internal field enablement in AMER so sellers understand when and how to engage partners, the relevant program guidelines, and how to work effectively with indirect routes to market.
- Run a consistent operating cadence with top partners, including business reviews, pipeline check-ins, account mapping, and escalation management where needed.
- Track partner activity and outcomes in partnership with RevOps and sales, including partner-sourced pipeline, training progress, and overall partner performance in the region.
- Coordinate closely with the broader Partnerships team to ensure regional execution is aligned to the overall program while remaining focused on in-market partner activation and revenue growth.
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Proven experience managing channel, reseller, MSP, VAR, and SI relationships at a B2B technology or services company.
- Demonstrated ability to enable partners effectively, including training on value proposition, sales plays, qualification, and how to work opportunities with internal sales teams.
- Experience driving measurable business outcomes through partners, including partner-sourced pipeline
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with sales, marketing, RevOps, and other internal stakeholders to execute partner plans.
- Strong commercial judgment and execution skills, including the ability to prioritize partners, manage competing opportunities, and navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience working in the US or in a multi-country region with different market dynamics, sales motions, and partner maturity levels.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility internally and externally.
- Knowledge of the crypto and blockchain ecosystem and how it ties into the financial services industry, and the ability to ramp quickly on Chainalysis products, use cases, and customer needs in order to enable partners effectively.
- Background in crypto, financial services, fintech, and/or compliance software.
Nice to have experience:
- Experience at a consulting/services firm advising clients on digital asset initiatives
- Experience with PRM tools, deal registration processes, account mapping, and partner performance tracking.
- Experience building channels in an environment where direct sales and indirect routes to market must coexist and be carefully governed.
- Comfort working across time zones and in a highly matrixed global organization.
AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. As the world's most trusted blockchain analytics platform, Chainalysis sits at a rare intersection of proprietary data, regulatory relationships and crypto expertise that makes it uniquely placed to shape and lead the next era of AI-driven intelligence - and we expect everyone here, regardless of role, to be an active part of it.
AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.

Are you ready to be part of the future?
About the job
Keet is a fully peer-to-peer messaging and video calling app built on Holepunch's P2P stack. There are no servers, no middlemen, and no data harvesting. People talk directly to each other, with end-to-end encryption by design.
We are looking for a
Senior Technical Product Manager
to own the vision for Keet and lead it to a billion users, competing head-on with WhatsApp and Telegram. This is not a maintenance role. You will define where Keet goes, convince the board and the team that it is the right direction, and then drive the execution that gets it there.
You are a rare combination of three things. You are a product visionary who has shipped consumer chat or calling apps at scale. You are a technologist who can go deep on P2P architecture and the Pear / Holepunch stack (docs.pears.com). And you are a hands-on builder who uses AI tools to prototype and prove concepts in days, not months. You set the bar high, move at incredible speed, and lead from the front.
You will also be the person who catches what others miss. The PM who thrives here reads every ticket, tracks every dependency, asks the uncomfortable question before it becomes a launch incident, and keeps five workstreams moving simultaneously without losing the thread on any of them.
If you prefer a PM role where you set strategy and delegate execution, this is not the right fit. If you want to build something that ships to real users, moves markets, and carries your fingerprints from concept to production, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Vision & Strategy
Own and articulate the long-term product vision for Keet as the world's leading private, peer-to-peer communication app, with a clear path to 1 billion users.
Analyze WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, LINE, WeChat and emerging competitors to identify where P2P gives Keet an unfair advantage, and build the roadmap around it.
Present product vision, strategy, metrics and progress to the board and executive leadership with clarity and conviction.
Define a growth strategy across acquisition, activation, retention and virality, with measurable targets at every stage.
Technical Product Leadership
Develop a deep working understanding of the Holepunch P2P stack (Pear runtime, Bare, Hypercore, Hyperswarm, HyperDHT, Autobase, Hyperbee) and translate its capabilities and constraints into product decisions.
Partner with core engineering on hard P2P problems at scale, including NAT traversal, offline sync, multi-device support, large groups, push notifications, and battery and data efficiency on mobile.
Own the real-time calling experience (1:1 and group voice and video, plus screen sharing) to a quality bar that matches or beats Google Meet and Zoom.
Define clear feature tiers with explicit labels for stable versus experimental functionality.
Rapid Prototyping with AI
Use AI coding and design tools to build working prototypes and demos that prove concepts before committing engineering resources.
Turn ideas into something the team, users and the board can see and touch within days.
Execution & Team Leadership
Lead the product team and run the sprint cadence end to end, covering planning, prioritization, standups, reviews and retrospectives.
Own deliverables from conception through release, testing and post-launch iteration, ensuring core functionality works reliably every time.
Maintain issue trackers and roadmaps that accurately reflect priorities and sprint commitments.
Coordinate across engineering, QA, design, marketing and business stakeholders, and manage cross-team dependencies across the Holepunch and Tether ecosystem.
Provide transparent updates on status, risks and timeline changes, and hold direct conversations about accountability when needed.
Mobile & Distribution
Own the mobile release process across iOS and Android. This includes App Store and Google Play submissions, review guidelines, compliance, store listings, ratings and release management.
Oversee desktop distribution and installers across macOS, Windows and Linux.
Build crash reporting, debugging and analytics systems, privacy-preserving by design, that turn user reports into actionable engineering data.
Mandatory:
8+ years of product management experience, including significant time in a senior or lead role owning a consumer product end to end.
Strong product sense, with a proven track record of setting product vision and driving it to measurable outcomes at scale (tens of millions of users or more).
Experience leading engineers who ship products, including running sprint cadences with predictable delivery across cross-functional teams.
Deep JavaScript and React skills. You can read and write production code, review pull requests, and build working prototypes yourself.
Intuition for distributed and local-first systems. You don't need P2P expertise, because our core abstracts it away, but you should be able to reason about sync, offline behavior and consistency trade-offs.
Hands-on experience shipping and scaling mobile apps on iOS and Android, with deep familiarity with App Store and Google Play logistics, review processes and release management.
Experience with real-time voice and video calling products (such as Google Meet, Zoom, FaceTime or WhatsApp calls) and the quality, latency and reliability trade-offs involved.
Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to rapidly prototype and demonstrate product concepts.
Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting vision and strategy to boards, executives and investors.
A strong understanding of urgency versus importance, and the judgment to make fast, high-quality decisions with incomplete information.
You thrive in a high-intensity, fast-moving environment, set an exceptionally high bar, and are willing to go above and beyond, including extended hours, when the mission demands it.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Nice to have:
Product leadership experience at a major messaging app such as WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, WeChat, Signal, Viber or KakaoTalk.
Experience with peer-to-peer technologies, distributed systems or decentralized protocols. Prior exposure to Holepunch, Pear or Hypercore is a strong plus.
Experience growing a product in emerging markets or across multiple regions and languages.
A background in privacy, encryption or security-focused products.
Familiarity with Electron, React Native or similar cross-platform frameworks, as well as installer systems, boot performance and Linux packaging (Snap, AppImage, Flatpak).
A solid understanding of testing approaches (unit, integration, end-to-end), test automation and performance testing.
An engineering background or computer science degree.
Experience with Git, issue trackers and modern collaboration tools.
Why this role:
The next billion-user communication app will not run on someone else's servers. If you want to be the person who defines it, presents it to the board, prototypes it yourself, and then leads the team that ships it, we want to hear from you.
In your application, include a link to a product you have shipped or a prototype you have built, along with a few sentences on how you would take Keet to 1 billion users.
