The Role
We’re looking for a product and content marketer to sharpen how Intellect competes, communicate the value of our solutions and turn that understanding into content that helps buyers choose us and clients get more from our offering.
Product marketing is at the centre of this role. You’ll build buyer and competitive insight, own positioning and messaging, and lead marketing planning for priority solution launches. Your remit spans Intellect’s digital products, care services and enterprise solutions.
You’ll also personally create the content that brings our positioning to life - from sales materials and customer stories to white papers, thought leadership and client communications. Working with our Clinical team, you’ll draw on research, evidence and subject-matter expertise to build credible, differentiated narratives. You’ll help strengthen Intellect’s brand, organic visibility and customer engagement through a focused, coordinated marketing plan.
Working directly with B2B marketing, sales, client success, product and clinical teams, you’ll have meaningful ownership of both the thinking and the execution.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role. We’re open to hiring at Specialist or Manager level, depending on your experience and demonstrated ability to independently own and deliver this work.
Your Responsibilities
Product Marketing & Go-to-Market
Build buyer and competitive insight through customer conversations, sales feedback and reviews of won and lost opportunities, identifying buying priorities, objections and reasons to choose Intellect.
Own positioning, differentiation and value propositions across Intellect’s solutions, tailoring messaging to priority buyer segments and markets.
Lead marketing planning for priority solution launches and updates, defining target audiences, messaging, supporting evidence and sales readiness, with B2B marketing owning acquisition campaign execution.
Bring customer and market insights into discussions with product, clinical and commercial teams to inform how solutions are developed, packaged and communicated.
Commercial Content & Sales Enablement
Personally research, write and edit compelling sales decks, solution materials, customer stories, case studies and campaign content.
Identify barriers to purchase with sales and develop messaging, objection-handling resources and competitive positioning materials that help address them.
Partner with the Clinical team to translate research findings, clinical expertise and customer outcomes into clear, credible evidence that helps buyers evaluate Intellect and supports renewal and expansion conversations.
Keep core materials current and easy to use, assessing their usefulness through adoption, sales feedback and buyer responses.
Website, SEO & AI Search Visibility
Own core website content and routine CMS updates, ensuring our solutions, differentiation and customer evidence are clearly presented.
Improve organic discovery through search-informed content and practical on-page SEO, prioritising relevant audiences and commercial intent.
Test approaches to improve visibility in AI-powered search and answer platforms, building on useful, authoritative content and sound SEO foundations.
Use search and content performance to prioritise improvements, working with B2B marketing on conversion and specialists on technical changes.
Brand Communications, Thought Leadership & PR
Maintain a consistent voice and narrative across Intellect’s public and client-facing communications.
Collaborate with the Clinical team on research-led content and white papers, bringing buyer-relevant questions into topic planning and turning findings and subject-matter expertise into accessible narratives, with clinical review for accuracy.
Develop thought leadership, articles and executive content that connect Intellect’s expertise and perspectives to the issues facing employers and their people.
Own a focused editorial calendar for organic social and ongoing brand communications, coordinating creative support through to publication.
Develop company announcements, press materials and story angles; coordinate leadership approvals, routine media enquiries and outreach with specialist PR support where needed.
Customer Marketing & Lifecycle Communications
Plan and execute repeatable client programmes, including onboarding communications, newsletters, solution education and engagement journeys.
Personally manage client audience segments, email distribution and straightforward CRM workflows, coordinating targeting and timing with client success.
Develop communications that demonstrate ongoing value and introduce relevant additional services, supporting engagement, renewal and expansion.
Equip client success with reusable templates and materials for account-specific deployment.
Planning & Effectiveness
Translate business priorities into a focused plan, protecting time for positioning, launches and commercial content alongside recurring communications.
Assess effectiveness through sales adoption, buyer feedback, relevant search visibility, customer engagement and contribution to commercial programmes.
Build reusable assets and workflows, using AI and other tools to improve execution while maintaining accuracy, originality and editorial quality.
Requirements
Strong in product-marketing judgement. You can demonstrate how you have shaped positioning, messaging or a go-to-market approach using buyer insight, and explain the decisions behind your work.
An excellent hands-on writer and editor. You can turn complex products and services into clear, persuasive content, with work samples that show both your thinking and your personal contribution.
Commercially minded. You understand how enterprise buyers evaluate solutions and can connect your work to buying decisions, sales effectiveness and customer value.
An independent owner. You can identify gaps, propose priorities, gather inputs and deliver work without needing every step prescribed. You make sensible trade-offs and know when to seek input.
Comfortable with website publishing and SEO. You can manage content through a CMS, apply on-page SEO fundamentals and use data to improve performance. You’re curious and practical about emerging AI search opportunities.
Able to execute customer marketing. You can use CRM and email tools to segment audiences, run communications and build straightforward lifecycle workflows.
Confident working with experts and evidence. You can draw useful insights from specialists and research, communicate findings accurately and distinguish supported claims from overstatement. You do not need a clinical background, but should be comfortable learning complex subject matter.
Organised and collaborative. You work effectively with commercial teams, product and clinical experts, leadership and creative partners, managing competing priorities with sound judgement.
Motivated by the mission. You’re excited to make mental healthcare easier to understand and access, and connect strong product marketing and storytelling with meaningful business growth.
Open to candidates in Malaysia (hybrid), Singapore (hybrid), Philippines (remote) and Indonesia (remote)
We value demonstrated ownership and work quality over a particular title or rigid years-of-experience requirement. Experience with enterprise audiences, multiple markets, healthcare, employee benefits, HR technology or complex services would be an advantage. Experience in research-led content, PR, executive communications or AI search optimisation (GEO/AEO) is also welcome.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Infrastructure team builds and operates the foundational systems behind Perplexity’s products. At Perplexity, infrastructure sits on the critical path of every answer, supporting real-time search, retrieval, model serving, and agent workloads where latency, reliability, and rapid iteration directly shape the user experience. This role is for strong infrastructure engineers whose experience spans multiple domains and who are energized by cross-cutting problems that do not fit neatly within a single platform team.
You do not need to be a specialist in every area. Scope ranges from owning major production systems to setting technical direction across teams, leading complex infrastructure programs, and shaping infrastructure strategy across the organization. If a specialized Cloud Infrastructure, Storage Platform, Backend Platform, Data Platform, Connector Platform, or AI Acceleration role clearly matches your expertise and interests, apply directly to it. If your experience spans several infrastructure domains or you are most energized by cross-cutting systems problems, apply here. Submit one application, and we will consider you across the Infrastructure organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own cross-cutting infrastructure problems that span compute, storage, networking, data, deployment, and reliability, including eliminating bottlenecks across retrieval and serving paths, building shared abstractions across deployment environments, and resolving failure modes that cross platform boundaries.
- Design, build, and operate distributed infrastructure supporting Perplexity’s consumer, AI, and enterprise workloads, owning systems from architecture through production operation.
- Identify gaps between existing platforms and build shared abstractions, automation, and tooling that make infrastructure easier and safer to use.
- Improve system performance, availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency across online request traffic and background workloads.
- Debug complex production issues across service and infrastructure boundaries, then turn the findings into durable architectural improvements.
- Set technical direction for complex infrastructure systems, lead high-impact programs across teams, and establish durable technical standards through collaboration with infrastructure, product, AI, and security partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production backend, platform, or distributed systems.
- A track record of owning complex production systems end to end and delivering sustained technical impact across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to set technical direction, lead through influence, and raise the engineering bar through architecture, design reviews, and mentorship.
- Strong software engineering skills in Python or other systems or backend languages such as Go, Rust, C++, or Java.
- Meaningful experience across at least two infrastructure domains, such as cloud platforms, distributed systems, Kubernetes, storage, databases, networking, data systems, developer infrastructure, or production reliability.
- Ability to develop depth quickly in unfamiliar systems, reason across software and infrastructure layers, and drive production incidents from diagnosis through durable resolution.
If you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn’t match every qualification listed above.

Platform owns the
foundation
the company runs on: compute and deployment, reliability and on-call, CI/CD and monorepo health, developer environments, the infrastructure that model training and inference run on, and the security boundaries around all of it.
AI and agent tooling is the clearest example. You will contribute to how models are trained and served here, as well as how agents work inside our codebase: the environments they run in, the verification that makes their output trustworthy, and the review paths that keep it all legible. There is no industry standard and you’ll help form our opinions rather than inheriting one.
Our users are other engineers. Expect to spend time with all the other engineering teams, understanding their needs and building a roadmap. The scope is large, so you'll be choosing what to leave alone as much as build.
Architecture decisions here last: this is a small team covering a large surface. You'll have real room to decide things, and you'll stay close to the systems you decide about.
What you'll own
Own our platform:
GCP, Kubernetes, Temporal, the GPU fleet behind cloud export, and the deploy and rollback machinery everything ships through. You'll be in the on-call rotation, and we'll expect you to make it quieter and more actionable.
The AI enablement substrate:
GPU capacity, training and inference pipelines, and the reliability and cost of the systems serving models in production.
Cost is an engineering constraint:
infrastructure decisions have a number attached and you're expected to make smart trade-offs. As inference grows with usage, the metering and attribution behind those numbers sit with this team.
Security comes with the systems you run
: identity and access, secrets management, least-privilege boundaries, and supply-chain integrity.
Make what you build legible.
Infrastructure-as-code that explains itself. Runbooks and in-repo context written for someone jumping in to help. Observability that tells you what failed and why.
Improve how the team learns and ships.
Form hypotheses, instrument your work, release incrementally, and read results honestly. Strengthen the tooling, standards, tests, observability, and release practices that help the team move quickly without compromising quality.
Raise the team’s technical ambition.
Provide architectural direction, thoughtful reviews, mentoring, and clear human writing.
What you bring
Required:
You have 8+ years building and operating production distributed systems, or equivalent server-side engineering with a heavy infrastructure focus.
You effectively leverage agents to multiply your impact and think critically about how and when to harness AI in your work.
You've run systems where failure was expensive, and your opinions about reliability and deployment come from consequences rather than reading.
You've carried a pager, commanded an incident, and rolled back before you understood why.
You use SLOs and error budgets as operating tools.
You’ve used a major cloud provider and Kubernetes in production, with infrastructure-as-code as your default.
You've owned an architecture or migration, from planning through launch, whose consequences outlived the project, and you can say what you'd do differently.
You've found important unowned work, scoped it, earned buy-in, and delivered it without being handed a spec.
You build a minimal repro, read the logs, and write targeted checks to prove a fix works instead of trusting output.
Experience that helps:
GPU and ML infrastructure:
capacity planning, training or inference pipelines, serving cost and latency. If you haven't run a GPU fleet, experience with expensive capacity-constrained systems transfers well.
Production security engineering:
IAM, secrets, supply chain, least privilege. You don't need to have held a security title, but you should have owned these boundaries for systems you ran.
Cloud cost modeling:
commitment strategy, reservations, unit economics.
CI/CD:
at monorepo scale, and developer-environment work.
Intricacies of Video:
Media, video, or GPU-backed workloads.
Small teams owning a large surface:
whether at a Series B to D company or on an internal platform team.

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE ROLE
Mistral is looking for AI Scientists with deep expertise in engineering sciences and machine learning to push the frontier of AI-accelerated simulation. Within AI4Engineering Science, you will research and train foundational physics models which are substantially more capable than what exists today and can be fine-tuned for downstream applications by both customers and internal teams.
You will work across the full research stack: curating high-fidelity simulation datasets, designing and training novel model architectures, and rigorously evaluating them against real engineering validation standards.
Working closely with the broader research organization, you'll ensure the foundation models you build are general enough to become the backbone of many downstream products, not just a single point solution.
This role builds on a strong, world-class foundation, and the goal is to take it further. You'll work one vertical at a time toward foundation models that genuinely transfer and fine-tune across engineering tasks, with high-quality simulation data pipelines, physics-based evaluation, and uncertainty / out-of-distribution estimation as first-class concerns. There's no inherited playbook for most of what's left to do: you'll help define the architectures, training strategies, and validation standards the team builds on, not just extend an existing one.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Research and train novel foundation models for physics simulation, pushing past today's state of the art in accuracy, generalization, and scale
- Design and run large-scale simulation campaigns using domain-specific solvers to build the high-fidelity datasets foundational physics models need
- Investigate architectures and training strategies (e.g. multi-fidelity training, pretraining objectives, scaling behavior) that let a single foundation model transfer and fine-tune well across diverse engineering tasks
- Rigorously evaluate model coverage, accuracy, and robustness against industry validation standards, and diagnose failure modes arising from data gaps or architecture limitations
- Stay on top of the latest developments in the scientific community and contribute to Mistral's standing at the frontier of AI-for-engineering research
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- PhD or Master's in CS/AI or an engineering science: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Structural Mechanics, EDA, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field
- Strong, hands-on machine learning expertise with a deep understanding of model architectures, training dynamics, and evaluation methodology is core to this role
- You have developed ML methods for simulation or surrogate modelling
- You write clean, readable Python code and are comfortable in Linux/HPC environments
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills, able to explain technical simulation and ML concepts to both engineering and non-technical audiences
- Self-directed, you don't need detailed roadmaps to make progress
- Low-ego, collaborative, and eager to learn at the intersection of simulation and ML
- Demonstrated success through industrial projects, academic work, or personal projects
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU
- Have industrial or academic experience with simulation solvers (e.g. OpenFOAM, LS-DYNA, ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus, Fluent, STAR-CCM+, PowerFlow, NekRS, Tau/CODA, JAX-Fluids, or equivalent; Cadence/Synopsys/Siemens EDA or equivalent)
- Have experience automating large-scale simulation campaigns on HPC clusters
- Have contributed to a large open-source or industry codebase
- Have publications in engineering or ML venues (AIAA, ASME, JFM, NeurIPS, ICLR, etc.)
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.
For the most up-to-date details on benefits available in your location, please refer to our Benefits page https://app.notion.com/p/mistralai/Benefits-at-Mistral-36e6ba59a7fe836b93dd01737fcc27ef?source=copy_link.

The Role
Mistral is looking for AI Scientists with deep ML expertise and hands-on engineering experience to expand what our agentic tools can do across the engineering lifecycle — CAE (CFD, FEA, etc.) and EDA/Semi.
Working within the AI4Engineering Science team, your core work is building the pre and post-training data for Mistral's LLMs to reason about and execute real engineering tasks. Because Mistral trains its own frontier LLMs, the data and verifiers you design ship directly into models you can hold, a rare position, and the core of the job.
Alongside this, you'll help shape the agent architectures and harness that let these models operate reliably inside multi-step engineering workflows, not just answer isolated questions.
You'll work closely with domain experts across CAE and EDA or other domains to ground this work in how engineers actually work, and with the broader research team to translate that domain grounding into training signal and evaluation benchmarks that measure genuine task competence.
This is early-stage work, and that's the point: you'd be joining at the foundation, shaping the data, verifiers, and agent scaffolding that decide whether these systems become reliable or stay demo-grade. There's no inherited playbook, you'll help define what good looks like, and your work will set the direction the team builds on rather than extend an existing one.
What you will do
- Design pretraining, SFT, and RL data for engineering tasks across CAD, CAE, and semiconductor/EDA
- Define verifiers and evaluation criteria that capture what "correct" and "high-quality" actually mean for each engineering task, beyond surface-level plausibility
- Design and improve agent architectures and harnesses: how models plan, call tools, recover from errors, and chain steps together across long-horizon engineering workflows
- Build evaluation benchmarks and diagnostic tooling to identify where models fail on engineering tasks, and trace those failures back to gaps in data, reward design, or agent scaffolding
- Collaborate with domain experts across CAE and EDA or other domains (and the science and solutions teams more broadly) to identify which engineering workflows are highest-value to target next
- Contribute to Mistral's broader pre and post-training research, sharing findings and methodology across the science organization
What we're looking for
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills, able to explain technical ML and engineering concepts to both engineering and non-technical audiences
- Deep, hands-on machine learning expertise, particularly LLM development
- Demonstrated experience running, debugging, and validating real engineering workflows in at least one of CAD, CAE, semiconductor simulation, or EDA
- You write clean, readable Python code and are comfortable in Linux/HPC environments
- Self-directed, you don't need detailed roadmaps to make progress
- Low-ego, collaborative, and eager to learn at the intersection of engineering and ML
It would be great if you
- Have experience building or fine-tuning agentic systems (tool use, multi-step planning, agent orchestration frameworks)
- Have experience with reward modeling, RLHF/RLAIF/RLVR, or preference-based training
- Have industrial or academic experience with CAE or EDA tools (e.g. SolidWorks, CATIA, Fluent, Abaqus, LS-DYNA, STAR-CCM+, Cadence/Synopsys/Siemens EDA tools)
- Have contributed to a large open-source or industry codebase
- Have publications in engineering and ML venues (NeurIPS, ICLR, JFM, AIAA, etc.)

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
The world's engineers want to get the most out of Claude. At Anthropic, technical instruction already happens everywhere: our Applied AI and Forward Deployed Engineering teams teach customers and partners, and engineers across the company help others learn to build with Claude. Today that instruction is a shared responsibility, delivered alongside people's primary roles. As demand grows, we need to turn that distributed expertise into a dedicated technical instruction function.
You will build that function.
You will be the first person at Anthropic whose full-time job is technical instruction. You'll spend your first year primarily in the classroom teaching engineers, architects, and other technical practitioners. You'll also build the people, standards, and systems that let Anthropic's technical instruction scale far beyond the people we directly employ.
This is a player-coach role. From day one you manage a small bench of instructors. You set the bar for what "ready to teach" means, decide who is cleared to teach a given module in Anthropic's technical programs, and assess facilitators from our training partners against that bar.
You're an engineer who teaches and a teacher who has led other teachers. You can build an agent live in front of a skeptical engineer, diagnose what isn't working in a technical lab, and make the material better. You can also watch an experienced instructor teach, tell them their session isn't ready yet, and coach them to get there.
You will report to the Head of Technical Enablement. The role is based in San Francisco with some travel expected.
Key responsibilities
Lead from the front.
Teach hands-on sessions to new Applied AI engineers, our field teams, and partner cohorts, in rooms from 12-person labs to 100-person training days.
Build the instructor bench.
Hire and develop instructors and curriculum developers. Decide contract renewals, and recommend conversions to full-time, against criteria you define.
Set the quality bar.
Own the observation rubric, dry-run protocol, and cleared-to-teach process for every instructor-led technical session.
Scale through train-the-trainer.
Set the bar the Lead Technical Instructor's train-the-trainer program teaches to, for internal experts, contract instructors, and partner facilitators.
Turn expertise into instruction.
Turn internal experts' content into sessions and labs that work in a live room.
Enable programs without owning them.
Staff other teams' programs with cleared instructors, and own the quality of instruction inside them.
Measure and improve.
Report learner pass rates per instructor each month, and act on them.
Minimum qualifications
8+ years of relevant professional experience
across software engineering, solutions engineering, developer advocacy, technical education, or related technical roles.
4+ years of hands-on technical instruction.
You have taught engineers live and hands-on, across audience sizes.
Production engineering.
You have written and shipped production software and engage credibly with experienced engineers on architecture and debugging.
Recent hands-on AI development.
In your last three years of work, you have built or debugged applications with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, tool use, MCP, or similar.
People leadership.
You have managed instructors, trainers, developer advocates, or solutions engineers, including hiring and performance management, and kept teaching.
Instructor development.
You have designed or run a train-the-trainer program, instructor certification, or observation framework.
San Francisco location.
You are based in San Francisco or willing to relocate with our relocation support, can be in the office every day a program runs, 3 days in a normal week, and can travel 25 to 30 percent.
Preferred qualifications
A portfolio of sessions you taught and a rubric or certification you designed, shared only if you have the right.
Experience building an instruction or developer-education function from scratch.
Experience managing a contractor instructor bench, or clearing instructors across regions from recordings or trained observers.
Daily use of Claude Code or a comparable agentic coding tool, or building on Claude through Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or Microsoft Foundry.
Deep enthusiasm for AI and real care about building it responsibly.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$365,000
—
$435,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit
anthropic.com/careers
directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

ROLE SUMMARY
As a Research Engineer on Forge, you will turn real customer requirements into reliable training and deployment workflows. You’ll work end‑to‑end across model adaptation and post‑training (CPT/SFT/RL/distillation), evaluation, data, and infrastructure. The role bridges research experimentation and production constraints.
This role sits in Applied Science, with direct impact on client outcomes. You’ll collaborate closely with scientists, engineers, product, and customer‑facing teams to ensure Forge projects ship, are maintainable, and can be trusted by others.
Interview focus can vary (algorithms, infrastructure, evals, or data). You don’t need to match every bullet below to apply.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build and improve post‑training and evaluation workflows (CPT/SFT/RL/distillation), turning prototypes into repeatable Forge “recipes”.
- Develop tools and pipelines for synthetic data generation, data curation, training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Debug and harden large‑scale ML systems: distributed training, scheduling/execution, checkpointing, observability, and reproducibility.
- Improve the Forge codebase via clear APIs, tests, documentation, and maintainable abstractions.
- Push the frontier of our RL training stack (e.g., high-throughput async rollout and scalable post‑training systems at frontier-model scale)
- Make sure Forge deployment is seamless and adaptable to a diversity of clients (hardware access, software stack, cloud and on-premises, …)
- Partner with researchers and infrastructure engineers to translate bottlenecks into concrete system improvements.
ABOUT YOU
- Strong Python engineering skills and experience working in large codebases (testing, code review, CI, operational ownership).
- Hands‑on experience with PyTorch, JAX, or similar.
- Strong systems and infrastructure fundamentals.
- Experience with LLM training or post‑training: fine‑tuning, RL, distillation, evaluation, and/or data pipelines.
- Excellent debugging skills in ambiguous systems (distributed jobs, data issues, quality regressions, infra failures).
- Clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- High agency, low ego, and comfort in fast‑moving, under‑specified environments.
NICE TO HAVE
- Distributed training experience (FSDP, DeepSpeed, Megatron, etc.).
- Cluster/orchestration experience (SLURM, Ray, Kubernetes, Kueue, Karpenter, Skypilot, etc.).
- Experience building reliable ML infrastructure, evaluation systems, or large‑scale data processing pipelines.
- Research experience in LLMs, agents, multimodal models, reasoning, code, or domain adaptation.
- Open‑source contributions, publications, or widely used internal tooling.
- Experience training multi‑billion‑parameter models (pre‑training or RL). Experience training on petabyte- and exabyte-scale datasets.
- Ability to identify bottlenecks across the stack and drive improvements from first principles.

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. Type: Full-time
Reports to: General Counsel
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced commercial attorney to lead legal support for Nex's content and partnerships ecosystem - the agreements and relationships that bring games, experiences, and brand collaborations onto the Nex Playground platform. You will be the primary legal partner to our Content, Partnerships, and Business Development teams, negotiating content and IP licensing deals, developer and publishing agreements, and strategic partnerships that grow our content catalog and platform reach. You'll also provide secondary support on our commercial vendor, retail/distribution, and hardware supply chain agreements as needed, in partnership with the GC and outside counsel.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build the playbook for a growing platform business, not just execute one that already exists.
What You'll Do
Content & Developer Agreements
Draft, review, and negotiate developer and publishing agreements for third-party studios and content creators building games and experiences for the Nex Playground platform, including revenue share, IP ownership, quality/certification requirements, and platform terms.
Structure and negotiate Play Pass content licensing and distribution agreements, balancing catalog growth with sustainable economics and IP protection.
Brand & Strategic Partnerships
Lead negotiation of brand and content licensing agreements with entertainment and children's media partners, including royalty structures, approval rights, marketing commitments, and IP/trademark compliance obligations.
Serve as the go-to legal partner to Business Development and Partnerships teams on strategic collaborations, co-marketing arrangements, and platform integrations, functioning as a strategic advisor embedded in partnership planning rather than a late-stage reviewer.
Independently lead complex, multi-party negotiations involving revenue-sharing arrangements, joint go-to-market plans, and cross-promotional commitments.
Commercial, Vendor & Hardware Support (Secondary)
Support retail, distribution, vendor, and marketing agreements as needed, partnering with Legal Operations on templates and process.
Provide secondary review and negotiation support on manufacturing, supply chain, and OEM/ODM agreements alongside the GC and outside counsel.
Partner with Product Counsel to identify commercial, product liability, regulatory, and privacy issues arising from any transaction you touch. Flag privacy/COPPA-relevant terms to Product Counsel, who owns Nex's privacy program and day-to-day privacy advisory work - you are not expected to advise on these substantively yourself.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Process
Build trusted relationships with [Content, Partnerships, Business Development, Product, and Marketing] - you'll be known as the attorney teams want in the room when a deal is taking shape, not just when paper needs signing.
Partner with Legal Operations on intake triage, template design, and CLM workflow design for content, developer, and partnership agreement types.
Manage and coordinate outside counsel on specialized or high-stakes IP, regulatory, or hardware/supply chain matters, with Legal Operations administering the underlying vendor relationship and spend.
Use AI-powered legal tools to accelerate contract review, drafting, and analysis, and help identify opportunities to further integrate AI into the team's workflows.
Contribute to Nex's broader legal function build-out over the next 18 months - templates, policies, and training - as one of the company's early in-house attorneys.
You Might Thrive in This Role If You
Hold a J.D. and active bar membership in good standing (California or another U.S. state, as applicable).
Have 7-10+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience, including meaningful time supporting a content/media partnerships business.
Have direct experience negotiating publishing/content licensing deals; experience with brand/entertainment IP licensing is a strong plus.
Understand partnership economics: how revenue share and attribution work, and how to structure incentives that align interests between Nex and its content and brand partners.
Are comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment with little existing precedent. You are proactive, independent, and energized by building rather than maintaining.
Communicate with clarity and business judgment, tailoring advice to enable responsible, fast-moving growth, and are comfortable presenting partnership strategy to business leaders.
Demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous or fast-changing situations, and can distinguish real risk from theoretical risk.
Are willing and able to flex into commercial, vendor, or hardware-adjacent agreements when the business needs it, even though that's not the core of the role.
Bring genuine curiosity about AI tools and how they're reshaping commercial legal practice.
Nice to Have
Experience at a gaming or consumer content/media company. Experience negotiating with entertainment studios, media brands, or children's content licensors.
Working knowledge of children's privacy frameworks (e.g., COPPA) or international data privacy regimes as applied in a commercial/platform context.
Some exposure to hardware, manufacturing, or supply chain agreements - helpful for the secondary scope of this role, though not the primary focus.
Familiarity with CLM systems (Spotdraft, Ironclad, or similar) from a heavy end-user or template-owner perspective.
What Success Looks Like
[Content, Partnerships, and Business Development] teams have a legal partner they trust to move deals forward quickly and with confidence.
Developer, content, and brand partner agreements are negotiated efficiently, with clear risk framing and business-enabling solutions.
Brand and licensing partnerships are structured to protect Nex's IP and reputation while still closing quickly.
Privacy and platform compliance issues are surfaced early and routed to Product Counsel, not resolved after the fact.
Templates and negotiation playbooks scale with the business so Legal doesn't become a bottleneck as Nex's content and partnership ecosystem grows.
We Offer
Competitive compensation package.
Flexible working hours and vacation policy.
Product-driven culture that treasures talents and individual growth.
Front-row seat and hands-on experience with cutting edge technologies in the evolving gaming field
