About
Customer.io
Over 9,000 companies — from scrappy startups to global brands — use our platform to send billions of emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS every day.
Customer.io
powers automated communication that people actually want to receive. We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data.
About the role
Hi, my name is Diep Nguyen, VP of Finance here at
Customer.io
, and I'm looking for a Director, GTM Finance to own our go-to-market P&L end-to-end as we scale from $100M+ ARR today to $1B+ ARR in the future.
We're hiring for strategic finance horsepower first: someone who builds models from a blank page, challenges assumptions, and earns trust with senior executives. Deep GTM fluency matters just as much — but for a strong finance generalist, that business partnership often shows up in the work rather than the title. You'll own our GTM P&L spanning Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, and build the team behind it.
We're an AI-forward company: this role requires someone energized by using AI to reinvent how finance operates, not someone who merely tolerates the tools we hand them.
What we value
Financial rigor over title-matching
— we care more about how you've built and defended models than whether "GTM Finance" was ever your title.
AI as genuine practice, not a buzzword
— we want concrete stories of AI changing an outcome, not familiarity with the tools.
Ownership from day one
— you'll build and lead a team, not just execute analysis handed to you.
Directness with data
— you challenge top-down assumptions with account-level evidence, even in uncomfortable conversations.
What you’ll do
Own the GTM P&L end-to-end — revenue, gross margin, and opex across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success — not just a spend-efficiency lens.
Drive unit economics and the growth funnel model — CAC, LTV/CAC, payback, magic number, and cohort/retention analysis across self-serve and sales-assisted motions.
Own the ARR roll-forward, bookings, and revenue forecasting — auditable, reconcilable, and independently stress-tested against top-down assumptions.
Partner with Sales and RevOps on capacity planning, deal economics, and pricing — protecting margin and ARR quality without slowing deal velocity.
Build and own the monthly/quarterly GTM reporting package for the exec team and Board, with variance analysis that explains root cause.
Champion AI-enabled finance workflows and build the GTM finance team as
Customer.io
scales past $250M+ ARR.
What we're looking for
10+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or related roles at complex, scaled orgs; a first-principles modeler who builds from a blank page rather than inheriting assumptions
Deep GTM business-partnering experience with Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success — regardless of whether "GTM Finance" was ever the title
Comfortable with subscription/SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV) or able to get there fast
Concrete, demonstrated track record driving AI adoption in finance workflows — not just familiarity with the tools
Proven people leader — has managed and developed finance professionals
Strong Excel skills (with experience using Snowflake a plus) and experience with planning/GTM systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, Gong, Drivetrain)
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA a plus
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in transparency. Starting salary for this role is
$200K–$255K USD
(or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment. In addition to base salary, this role includes an equity grant in the form of stock options, so you share in the success you help build.
We know our people are what make us great, and we’re committed to taking great care of them. Our inclusive benefits package supports your well-being and growth, including
100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums for you and your family
. We also offer
16 weeks paid parental leave, unlimited PTO
, stipends for remote work and wellness, a professional development budget, and more.

PlanetScale is growing rapidly and reinventing the database space. Our database platform offers developers the fastest and most reliable Postgres and Vitess/MySQL databases, enabling businesses to efficiently handle data and workloads of all sizes.
PlanetScale is backed with over $100M in venture financing from top-tier VCs including a16z, Kleiner Perkins, SignalFire, and Insight Venture Partners. And we serve some of the most innovative companies in the world such as Block, Anysphere (Cursor), MyFitnessPal, Etsy, Kick, and thousands more. Our customers entrust us with what is often their most precious digital asset, their data, so the stakes couldn’t be higher.
We’re looking for a Field Marketing Manager to own the strategy and hands-on execution of high-impact experiences that connect developers, engineering leaders, customers, and the broader tech community with PlanetScale.
What’s the job to be done?
Own the end-to-end events strategy and portfolio for PlanetScale, spanning owned developer experiences, conference presence, sponsored/partnered events, executive dinners, pop-up activations, meetups, field programs, and hybrid/digital formats.
Set the creative and experiential bar, bringing a strong point of view on design, storytelling, branding, and details so every touchpoint (booth, merch, venue, food, etc) reflects PlanetScale’s brand and stands out.
Drive measurable outcomes in developer acquisition, product adoption, community growth, pipeline, and brand love. Define the metrics that matter and hold the program accountable to them.
Build and manage a global events calendar. Evaluate, prioritize, and execute a disciplined portfolio of events.
Own and manage the events budget with clear ROI frameworks, financial discipline, and the ability to reallocate based on performance data.
Manage vendors, agencies, venues, AV, and creative partners; hold external partners to the same quality standard expected internally.
Operate as a highly hands-on individual contributor while setting strategy. This is a lean role where you’ll both define the vision and drive the majority of the execution yourself, while building the foundation to grow the function over time.
Innovate on format: bring fresh thinking beyond traditional conference booths (hackathons, build-alongs, intimate technical roundtables, hybrid experiences, unique activations, executive events).
These attributes best describe you
You have experience running or heavily contributing to events for developer or highly technical audiences, whether from an events, experiential marketing, field marketing, or Developer Relations background. You know what resonates with engineers and builders versus what feels like generic marketing.
You have strong taste and creative vision. You can point to events you’re proud of and articulate why specific design, content, experience, and logistical choices mattered.
You are both strategic and highly operational. You’re comfortable setting direction and then rolling up your sleeves to make it happen.
You thrive in cross-functional, matrixed environments and can influence without pure authority across Sales, DevRel, Marketing, Brand, and leadership.
You are comfortable with ambiguity, speed, and high ownership. PlanetScale moves fast. You bias toward action while protecting quality.
You enjoy wearing multiple hats and are energized by a high-IC role rather than pure people management.
What you will need
3+ years of experience in events, experiential marketing, field marketing, Developer Relations, or developer community roles, with meaningful ownership of strategy and execution.
Experience working with developer, engineering, or technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage event budgets and deliver measurable results.
Experience producing or significantly contributing to a mix of owned events, conference presence, executive/customer dinners, meetups, and field activations.
Excellent project management, vendor management, and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently (often 30%+ depending on the calendar) to attend, oversee, and host events.
Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
Strong communication skills and the ability to represent PlanetScale with polish and authenticity in high-stakes settings.
This job requires you to work from our San Francisco office at least 3 days a week.
What else will help you be successful
Prior experience in developer tools, infrastructure, or databases.
Background in Developer Relations or developer community building.
Experience with hybrid or digital-first formats alongside in-person.
Existing relationships in the developer conference and events ecosystem.
Comfort creating or guiding technical storytelling and working closely with DevRel and Product on content and speakers.
Why PlanetScale

What we haven't fully built yet is the real-world version of that, and as Field Marketing Manager, that vision is yours to own.

At PlanetScale we believe in supporting people to do their best work and thrive no matter the location. Our mission is to build a diverse, equitable, and inclusive company. We strive to build an inclusive environment where all people feel that they are equally respected and valued, whether they are a candidate or an employee. We welcome applicants of any educational background, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, citizenship, socioeconomic status, disability, pregnancy status, and veteran status.
If you have a disability, please let us know if there’s any way we can make the interview process better for you; we’re happy to accommodate!

Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. As a Manager, Enterprise Sales, you will lead and scale our enterprise sales team, driving strategic revenue growth with a consultative, customer-first approach. You will oversee complex deal cycles, coach Enterprise Account Executives, and build the motion that wins high-impact, multi-stakeholder deals in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

- Establish enterprise sales processes, performance metrics, and best practices that ensure consistent quota attainment across the team
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You’re a proven enterprise sales leader with experience closing large, complex deals and managing high-performing teams
- You’re skilled in multi-threading, stakeholder alignment, and navigating procurement, legal, security review, and executive-level conversations
- You’re a strong coach who helps Account Executives sharpen discovery, messaging, deal strategy, and negotiation
- You’re highly strategic and structured, able to build repeatable systems and scalable enterprise sales motions
- You’re comfortable owning forecasts, running deal reviews, and driving predictable revenue outcomes

Are you ready to join our digital revolution journey?
At Aleph, we’re not just part of the digital advertising landscape—we’re shaping its future. Representing the world’s leading platforms, including TikTok, Amazon, Google, and nearly 55 others, we operate in 130+ markets across new and existing geographies.
Our mission is to empower advertisers and brands to unlock the full potential of these platforms' advertising capabilities. By fostering long-lasting partnerships, we create limitless opportunities for people and businesses to advertise effectively at both local and global levels.
With a presence spanning continents, Aleph offers you the chance to be part of a fast-growing, innovative team where your work makes a direct impact. If you’re ambitious, forward-thinking, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, global environment, Aleph is the perfect place to build your career.
About The Role:
We're an advertising company that lives or dies by how well we connect to the outside world. We integrate with the major social and ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snap, and more) and wire them into our internal systems for billing and reporting. Data moves constantly and in both directions, at scale, and a meaningful part of our estate is legacy. You'll own the technical direction that keeps all of this coherent, resilient, and evolvable — and you'll stay close enough to the code to prove it.
This is the top of our individual-contributor ladder. You won't have direct reports; your leverage comes from setting direction, building the hard parts yourself, writing the decisions down, and getting engineers and leadership to build behind them. This is not a role that only draws diagrams — you'll ship production code on the riskiest paths, cut the spike that de-risks a migration, and go deep in the incidents nobody else can crack. We work across PHP, Go, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript; PHP and Go are both first-class and here to stay, and the right tool for a problem can land in either. You'll be the person who decides where new capability lands, how legacy gets retired, and how we absorb the constant churn of third-party APIs without breaking delivery.
What You'll Own:
The integration architecture for ingesting from and pushing to external ad/social platforms — versioning, rate limits, backfills, idempotency, webhooks, and graceful degradation when a partner API changes underneath us.
The data architecture for information flowing between platforms and internal systems: pipelines, reconciliation, contracts between services, and the path from operational data to reporting.
A pragmatic strategy for modernizing the legacy estate — strangler-fig migrations, clear service boundaries, and sound judgement about which language and pattern fit each problem — carried far enough into code that teams can follow the pattern.
The engineering bar for integration and data work: the reference implementations, patterns, and standards the org builds against, ratified through the technical committee.
What You'll Do:
Set the technical direction for new products and major changes, and stay the technical decision-maker through build and post-launch — with the authority to course-correct when implementation drifts, and the habit of being in the codebase to catch the drift early.
Build the hard parts yourself.
Write production code on the riskiest, highest-leverage paths; prototype the uncertain approach to turn an argument into evidence; build the reference implementation others extend.
Turn intangible trade-offs — partner API risk, team capability, long-term scalability, cost of change — into clear, written decisions (ADRs) that leadership and the technical committee can sign off on.
Define service and data contracts, integration patterns, and resilience strategies that survive third-party API deprecations and outages.
Go deep when it breaks: lead diagnosis on the gnarliest production incidents and performance regressions, and land the fix and the systemic follow-up.
Identify the infrastructure (compute, data, messaging, observability) needed to meet current and near-future goals.
Raise the bar through others:
mentor engineers and tech leads, set the standard in code review, and drive cross-functional decisions across engineering, product, security, and operations — through influence, not line management.
Evaluate third-party and vendor solutions against our integration and data requirements.
Monitor systems against performance and business benchmarks and escalate with concrete recommendations.
What We're Looking For:
Substantial experience as a staff/principal engineer (or equivalent) on
integration-heavy, data-heavy systems
— ideally where you didn't control the external APIs.
Still hands-on.
You lead by building, and you're demonstrably strong in production code, not only in design.
Depth in at least one of
PHP, Go, or Python
, and comfort across a polyglot estate (TS/JS on the front).
A track record of
modernising legacy systems incrementally
without halting delivery.
Fluency in integration and data patterns: idempotency, eventual consistency, rate limiting, queuing, backfills/reconciliation, API versioning.
A history of
driving technical decisions through influence rather than authority
— getting senior leadership and peer engineers to commit to a direction, and backing it with working code.
Nice To Have:
Experience with ad/martech platform APIs (Meta Marketing, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.).
Data warehouse / analytics pipeline experience (e.g. BigQuery).
Multi-region, multi-currency, or high-volume billing/reconciliation backgrounds.

About the Opportunity
As a key digital asset hub, Singapore is an integral part of our global strategy. Licensed by the MAS, OKX SG is focused on providing Singapore users with a secure and user-friendly platform for trading digital assets. Our mission is to become the leading exchange in Singapore, offering seamless and efficient trading experiences to our clients and partners.
We are seeking a Senior Business Strategy & Growth Manager to help solve some of the Singapore business's most important and ambiguous growth problems.
This is not a traditional strategy role where the work ends with a recommendation, nor an operations role where established playbooks already exist. You will be given problems where the answer — and sometimes even the path to finding it — is unclear.
You might be asked to determine how we acquire a new high-value customer segment, redesign the end-to-end sales lifecycle, understand why customers are not adopting a product, or test a completely new growth channel. You will be expected to figure out what data matters, develop hypotheses, design the solution, and personally drive implementation until we know whether it works.
The environment is closer to a startup within a global company: high autonomy, significant resources to leverage, but few predefined answers. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating structure from ambiguity, challenges conventional approaches, and is equally comfortable thinking at a strategic level and getting into the operational details required to make something work.
What You’ll Be Doing
Solve Ambiguous Growth Problems
Take loosely defined commercial problems, determine the right questions to ask and data to analyse, and develop clear hypotheses and recommendations grounded in evidence.
Identify and size new growth opportunities across customer segments, acquisition channels, product adoption and monetisation, translating insights into experiments and executable business plans.
Design and test new approaches quickly, using results to decide whether to iterate, scale or stop rather than relying on established playbooks.
Build & Optimise Commercial Engines
Design and continuously improve end-to-end sales and customer lifecycles, from segmentation and lead prioritisation through outreach, conversion, activation and ongoing engagement.
Work closely with Relationship Managers and Commercial teams to identify funnel leakage, improve coverage and outreach models, develop practical sales enablement tools, and increase conversion and customer value.
Build the data, metrics and operating mechanisms required to understand what is working, diagnose problems and systematically improve commercial performance.
Drive Product Adoption & Customer Growth
Identify why different customer segments adopt (or fail to adopt) OKX products, combining behavioural data, customer insights and market intelligence to uncover barriers and opportunities.
Design and execute initiatives that improve product discovery, activation, engagement and cross-sell across the customer lifecycle.
Develop differentiated approaches for priority segments.
What We Look For In You
Exceptional structured problem-solving and commercial judgement,
with the ability to take ambiguous problems, determine what matters, develop hypotheses, and arrive at practical answers from first principles.
-Strong ownership and execution orientation.
You stay attached to problems from initial analysis through solution design, implementation, and measurable outcomes, and are willing to personally step into execution gaps rather than hand work off.
- Strong analytical capabilities and comfort working hands-on with data
to size opportunities, diagnose problems, test hypotheses, and measure results.
- Demonstrated ability to design and improve commercial or operational systems,
rather than simply execute within established processes.
- Creative and intellectually curious,
with a willingness to challenge assumptions, experiment with new approaches, and operate effectively without an established playbook.
- Strong communication and influencing skills,
with the ability to drive outcomes across senior and cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Direct experience working in or closely with Sales/Commercial teams, including customer segmentation, pipeline management, sales effectiveness, or revenue growth, is strongly preferred.
Experience in digital assets, fintech, or financial services is a plus.
Perks &
Benefits

L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development

Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants

Our north star is simplicity for users: fintechs, traditional banks, merchants, platforms, and anyone else looking to move their payments into the 21st century.
