What The Role Is
We're hiring a Staff MLE for the Discovery team to own recommendations and personalization across Babylist's consumer experience — the homepage feed, product recs, search, and the ML-powered systems that make registry building feel effortless.
Babylist was built on editorial recommendations: products chosen by people with deep baby gear expertise. That editorial foundation is a big part of why millions of families trust us. We're now building ML-powered personalization on top of it, using one of the richest first-party datasets in parenting.
We're early in this work, and we have a real mandate. A small Discovery team has initial retrieval and reranking models live on parts of the site and a steady cadence of A/B tests. We are looking for a Staff MLE who has seen personalization done well at scale and can set the technical direction for where we go next.
Registry building is the heart of the Babylist product. Every parent builds a list of dozens of products, from swaddle to stroller, with real stakes (a friend or family member is going to buy these things, and a baby is going to use them). As a universal registry, this registry also typically spans many retailers. This makes registry building on Babylist one of the most interesting personalization problems in consumer e-commerce: latent intent, life-stage progression, multi-stakeholder gift dynamics, deep declarative signal in millions of completed registries, cross-retailer datapoints, and a user who genuinely wants help.
If you want to join a mature ML org and tune models at the margins, this isn't the right role. If you've worked inside a strong recommendations team, learned what good looks like, and want to build from zero-to-one at a company earlier in the journey, read on.
What You'll Own
You'll be the technical lead for personalization on the Discovery team, working alongside a PM, Engineering Manager, Senior MLE and fullstack software engineers. You set where our models go over the next year or two, sequence the bets that get there, and stay deep in building. A few examples of the problems you’ll get to shape:
Product recommendations across every surface.
Product detail pages, add-next recommendations after someone adds to their registry, vibes/aesthetic representations of products and the shared models underneath them.
Personalizing the Feed.
Deciding which products, editorial content and social content each family sees, and in what order.
Personalizing search.
Bringing what we know about a family into search results, and helping decide how much search should share retrieval and ranking with recommendations.
Making Addie (our AI registry assistant) better at recs.
Working with the team behind Addie so its product suggestions draw on the same models and signals as the rest of the site.
In practice, you will:
Take a fuzzy business problem from first sketch to production model, and own whether it moved the metric.
Make the modeling and architecture calls that span surfaces and are expensive to reverse.
Design the evaluation, offline and online, that tells us a model is good before and after it ships.
Know when a rule or a simple baseline is the right first step, and when it's time to pursue more advanced approaches.
Partner with product, design and data to help shape what's worth building.
Coach engineers on the team, and more broadly be an ML expert and resource to the wider engineering org.
Who You Are
You’ve shipped recommendation and/or personalization systems that reached real users at scale within a consumer product, and can point to the business impact of your work. You’ve done this within a team that did ML well — you know what good looks like, and are motivated to bring that to a company earlier in their ML journey.
You bring:
Expertise in recommender fundamentals: for example, candidate generation vs. ranking, offline vs. online evaluation, cold start solutions, and handling position and popularity bias.
Fluency in the Python ML stack and comfort owning models through deployment and monitoring, including contributions to our application backend.
An ability to take an ambiguous problem and start moving before anyone hands you the full picture.
A builder's instinct for early-stage ML. You understand effort vs. effectiveness tradeoffs and can advocate for when a rule beats a model, or a model is “good enough” for early learnings.
An outcome and user focused mindset. You measure yourself by business impact, and you can connect a model change to user experience & registry adds, conversion or revenue.
AI-native daily practice. You're already using AI to move faster and improve your output, and you stay curious about what's coming next.
Compensation
We post real numbers. For a Canada-based Staff Engineer, the starting base salary range is 299,300 to 372,600 CAD plus a target annual bonus of 20 percent of base. That's total target cash of roughly 359,160 to 447,120 CAD. On top of that you get meaningful equity and a 401(k) match. Where you start in that range depends on your experience, and your pay grows from there with performance and scope.
How We Build
AI is the default here. Engineers run agentic sessions for most of the work, and a lot of the interesting engineering now lives in the scaffolding that makes the agents good: the eval harnesses, the curated context, custom review skills and fast CI. Agents also triage incidents and handle a big share of support. A human always owns the outcome.
The architecture is intentionally simple: one Rails monolith, MySQL and few moving parts. That's deliberate. Simple infrastructure lets us move fast and lets AI reason about the whole system, so the hardest problems are the ones in front of customers.
The Stack
Core app:
Rails, Packwerk, React, TypeScript, Sidekiq

Why Babylist
An engineer, expecting her first baby, couldn't find the registry she wanted. So she built it. That's how Babylist started, and it's still how we work: engineers solving problems for families. Becoming a parent is one of the biggest moments in a person's life. Millions reach it for the first time every year, making thousands of decisions and figuring it out as they go. That's who we build for, and we're a long way from done.
Ten million people give gifts through Babylist every year. We did more than $750M in revenue in 2025, up 45 percent over the year before, and we've been profitable for eight years while staying independent. So you can take on a hard, multi-year problem without watching over your shoulder for the next round or the next correction. And the team is small, around 65 engineers, so what you ship stays visible and your scope stays wide.
How We Work
Remote-first across the US and Canada, and we have been for years. That's not changing. We trust you to own your time and your outcomes, and we get everyone in a room together twice a year. Teams are small, pods of three to five engineers, so nothing you ship disappears into a committee. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with product, design and data, and with the partners across the business who rely on what you ship. You'll also stay close to customers yourself: sitting in on user interviews, watching session recordings, riding along with support. Here that's part of the engineering job, on a regular basis.
How We Hire
Three rounds, usually two to three weeks start to finish.
Recruiter conversation (30 minutes).
Trade context: what you want next, what we're building and straight answers on comp, team and remote.
Technical screen (1 hour).
One round, no AI, language-agnostic. Reach for Google when you normally would. We just want to see how you reason from first principles.
Final round (4 hours).
Four one-hour interviews: system design, AI-assisted coding with the tools you'd actually use here, product sense and culture and values. You'll hear back either way within 24 to 48 hours.
If your timeline is tight, tell us and we'll move faster.
Benefits
Company-paid medical and fully covered dental and vision
A 401(k) match
Generous paid parental leave for birthing and non-birthing parents, plus a gradual return-to-work program
Winter Wonder Week, a paid company-wide week off at the end of the year
A remote-work stipend
Mental-health and wellness support
A Few Things To Know
We record and transcribe interviews to evaluate candidates, in line with applicable privacy laws.
We expect you to use AI in your work and we welcome it in the process, but what you submit and say should reflect your own thinking.
If you have a family member or close relationship with a Babylist employee, let your recruiter know.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a senior B2B Growth Marketer to build and scale demand generation for ElevenLabs in LATAM Southern Cone. This is a hands-on, in-country role focused on generating enterprise pipeline, growing our brand with technical buyers, and creating programs that become benchmarks for B2B marketing in AI.
As our first marketing hire in LATAM Southern Cone, your work will shape how Southern Cone businesses discover, evaluate, and adopt ElevenLabs. The goal is to build repeatable marketing engines that make ElevenLabs the top choice for every enterprise.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build integrated B2B marketing campaigns end to end across Southern Cone priority industries — from strategy and messaging through execution and measurement.
- Own field marketing for the region: plan and run self-hosted events (dinners, roundtables, workshops), represent ElevenLabs at third-party conferences and sponsorships, and bring in creative, high-touch formats (experiential activations, executive dinners, partner co-hosted sessions) that build pipeline and brand with technical buyers.
- Localize and execute programs across ABM, content, webinars, partner/customer marketing, executive branding, product launches, and outbound — choosing the right channel for the problem rather than owning a single function.
- Adapt global campaigns and messaging for the Southern Cone market, and feed local insights (buyer behavior, competitive dynamics, regulatory context) back to the global team.
- Partner closely with local sales and the global product marketing, growth, and design teams to keep messaging consistent and execute high-impact campaigns.
- Own pipeline generation and campaign performance for the market, using data to measure results, run experiments, and continuously improve what works.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 to 7 years of experience at a high-growth technology company - you've built and scaled B2B demand generation programs that created measurable enterprise pipeline, and you know what moved the needle.
- Ownership Pedigree: You have implemented growth and marketing projects from start to finish and held yourself accountable for the ROI.
- Deep knowledge of the Southern Cone market: its enterprise buyers, media landscape, and business culture, ideally with an existing network.
- Work well without much process. This role spans multiple marketing functions and needs someone who sets priorities, spots opportunities, and moves quickly as our first marketer in the market.
- Relentless commitment to excellence — a high bar for quality, clarity, and impact.
- Curious about AI, follows the technology ecosystem closely, and has exceptional judgment on what makes marketing stand out.

Location: Remote
Tech stack
Frontend: React 18/19, TypeScript, Vite, TanStack Query / Router / Table, Zustand, MUI, Tailwind + shadcn/ui, Next.js, i18next, Sentry
Testing: Playwright, Vitest, Testing Library, MSW
Backend: Java 17 + Spring Boot 3, Kotlin + Spring Boot 4 (new services), Node.js/TypeScript services, PostgreSQL, Redis, NATS, Temporal
Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), FluxCD, GitHub Actions, Cloudflare
Web3: viem, ethers
AI: Claude Code, MCP, custom skills and plugins, AI code review in CI
The role
We are looking for a senior engineer who builds product features end-to-end — mostly on the frontend, with the confidence to change the backend when the feature needs it — and who already works agent-first. Our team plans, writes, tests, and reviews code with AI agents. You will own the frontend of our payment products and help turn good AI habits into shared team workflows.
The split is roughly 70% frontend / 30% backend.
What you will work on
Crypto on/off-ramp widget — an embeddable buy/sell flow with KYC, card payments with 3-D Secure, alternative payment methods, and a customer account area—one codebase, built for multiple white-label brands.
Merchant checkout — hosted payment pages, from a simple one-step checkout to a full multi-step flow with KYC and compliance screens.
Back-office admin apps — internal tools that operations, compliance, and support use every day. A legacy admin is being replaced by a new one built on a modern stack.
Backend changes — API endpoints and business logic in our Java/Spring Boot services, so a feature doesn't stop at the API boundary.
Responsibilities
Own features from ticket to production: UI, API contract, backend change, tests, release, and monitoring.
Make frontend architecture decisions and drive ongoing migrations (legacy admin → new admin, older UI libraries → modern stack, stricter type checks).
Build and improve AI-driven development workflows: project context files, shared skills and commands, automated PR review in CI, agent-driven end-to-end and visual checks.
Review code — both teammates' and agents' — and keep the quality bar high.
Work with product, design (Figma), QA, and backend engineers in a weekly release cycle.
Must have
5+ years of commercial frontend development, 3+ years with React + TypeScript in production.
Solid modern React: server-state management
(TanStack Query or similar), client state (Zustand/Redux), forms, routing, performance. Comfortable with large legacy codebases, not just greenfield projects.
Production backend experience in at least one language.
Java or Kotlin with Spring is a plus; Node.js/TypeScript, Go, or others are fine. You can design a REST API, work with PostgreSQL (schema, indexes, migrations), and ship changes in our Java services.
Agentic development is your daily way of working — with Claude Code, Codex, or a similar agent, not just autocomplete. Specifically:
you keep project context files (
CLAUDE.md
/
AGENTS.md
) and write your own skills, commands, or subagents;
you connect agents to real tools through MCP (issue tracker, GitHub, Figma, databases, browser);
you work in a plan → implement → verify loop, where the agent proves its work with tests, type checks, and browser automation;
you run agents in parallel and headless (for example, an AI review bot in CI);
you review agent output critically and know the failure modes: invented APIs, silent scope creep, "fixing" a test instead of the code, leaked secrets, prompt injection;
you keep up with how agentic tools change (new features, models, practices) and bring what works into your workflow
.
Testing: Playwright for end-to-end, Vitest/Jest for unit and integration tests.
Security-minded: real money, personal data, auth tokens, iframes, and cross-origin messaging.
Fluent Russian (the team's working language). English good enough to read and write technical texts: tasks, pull requests, and docs are in English.
Nice to have
Payments/fintech: card flows and 3-D Secure, alternative payment methods, KYC SDKs (e.g., SumSub), fraud prevention, open banking.
Web3 on the frontend: viem / ethers, wallet connection, EIP-712 signing.
Multi-brand (white-label) products, theming and design tokens.
OpenAPI-generated clients (Orval), TanStack Router / Table.
Kotlin, Spring Boot, NATS, Temporal.
Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, GitOps (FluxCD), Cloudflare Workers.
How we work with AI
Every main repository has AI context files and repo-specific skills.
An internal plugin marketplace ships team-wide skills (code review, release flow, back-office operations).
AI code review runs on pull requests in CI. It advises, and humans decide.
Custom MCP servers provide agents with secure access to internal systems.
The company pays for AI tooling.
What we offer
Fully remote work in an international team.
A team where AI-first engineering is the norm, not an experiment.
Real influence on architecture and on how the team works.
A product at real scale: millions of users and thousands of partner platforms.
Competitive salary based on individual performance review.
Transparent feedback culture that values ownership and visible impact.
Recruitment process
Apply with your CV.
Application review.
HR interview with a short technical screen.
Technical interview: a live task solved with your own AI agent while sharing your screen, plus a design discussion.
Final interview with the CTO.
Offer.

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.

Agents are authoring entire data systems. The bottleneck is no longer writing pipelines, but understanding, governing, and trusting what they produce.
dltHub provides the infrastructure that enables data teams in large enterprises and scale-up companies to run their data stack autonomously. Our open-source Python library, dlt, offers agents and developers transparent, composable building blocks for data ingestion (schema inference, normalization, incremental loading, and data contracts), designed from the start for the AI era. Built on dlt, dltHub is the AI-native data engineering platform for teams of humans and agents: a managed layer over any warehouse that lets both your team and their agents generate, validate, and manage high-quality data at scale.
As we grow, product communication and sales collateral are critical for our success. We are hiring a Product Marketing Manager to lead building the bridge between our customers and our product team.
Mission of the Role
Make dltHub as compelling to business leaders as it is to engineers, and drive enterprise opportunities through a strong message, launches, and enterprise-level communication.
What you'll actually work on
Product Launches.
You own the process and delivery of our product launches and ensure we communicate our product vision and new product capabilities consistently to a growing audience. We launch new products every few weeks. Recent examples include the
public preview of Transformations
, a
companion post for practitioners
,
dltHub Pro
,
dltHub for Teams
, and our
vision for an autonomous data platform
.
Enterprise communication.
You ensure we are speaking with one voice and represent our brand consistently in everything we say and do. You take ownership of our website communications.
Customer collateral.
You take our customer success stories and blueprints, like the
ontology and semantic layer
, to the next level of excellence. These come from engagements with our customers and our Solutions Engineering team. You interview the customer and write them.
Content marketing.
You coordinate our content marketing creation and distribution efforts. Work with our content writers. Plan the schedules and ensure that the content speaks our language
The link between Product and GTM.
You align stakeholders, drive the launch schedule, and close gaps in messaging, sales enablement, and launch readiness. Coordinate our product marketing activities and keep the team aligned.
What success looks like:
In 90 days,
you run launches end to end, and our story is consistent across the website, sales collateral, and decks, with messaging that speaks directly to business buyers.
In 6 months,
you've built a repeatable process that trains sales on that story, and we can see it working (e.g. in win rate with business buyers & deal velocity)
Ongoing,
you own the marketing plan: one lean, visible roadmap where everyone can see what we're doing, why, and in what order.
Requirements
You can write clearly about technical subjects. Your style is clear and not full of marketing talk. Please read the post on the
Transformations launch
and the page at
dlthub.com/security
. If you think you can do better, you are the person we're looking for.
You have been targeting US enterprise customers and are therefore familiar with what a senior technical stakeholder actually reads. Our customers are the lead personnel regarding data platforms and the people who approve decisions on their behalf, both in the US and in the EU.
You can talk with a data engineer about pipelines, schemas, and warehouses without being one. You do need to understand what our product does.
You've carried out launches from start to finish, which involved you choosing the audience, deciding on the message, and selecting which assets were worth developing, before building most of them yourself.
You need to be able to keep agents in control and build agentic workflows while ensuring our external presence conveys a human touch.
You have a basic understanding of data workflows.
This probably isn't for you if
You rely on a formal brief and a kickoff meeting before getting started, this role is not for you. While you'll have access to design support, you're expected to independently draft the first version of the post, the page, and the deck without waiting for a request ticket.
You want to own strategy and hand execution to someone else.
You can't work from our Berlin office regularly.
Benefits
We organize our work around each person's autonomy and efficiency, with set hours for communication and for deep work.
We are an office-first company that also offers plenty of room for deep work and working from home. Dedicated meeting-free days let the team focus on their most important work.
We cover your Berlin public transportation ticket.
We are deeply committed to your personal and professional growth, and as such, we allocate an annual budget for learning and development.
We offer regular subsidized team lunches and Urban Sports Club membership.
We have an ESOP scheme available to employees, taking into account their impact on the product and the company.

Role Overview
You own a shift. Not a zone of it, not a function within it — the whole thing. Roughly 140 operators, 13 Cell Leads, and 3 Operations Supervisors collecting robot demonstration data, and you are the single person accountable for what that shift produces, how good it is, and whether everyone goes home safe.
The shift you own runs whether or not the Production Manager is in the building. That's the job: your shift should be indistinguishable in output and quality from the one before it and the one after it.
What You Will Do
Own your shift's production plan end to end — accepted episodes, first-pass acceptance, utilization, and labor efficiency against target.
Manage 2–3 Operations Supervisors; own their performance, their development, and the quality of the Cell Lead bench underneath them.
Run shift start-up, mid-shift review, and a documented handoff — you receive the shift before yours and hand off cleanly to the shift after.
Make the real-time calls: redeploying staff when a cell goes down, resequencing work when a task type stalls, flexing coverage when attendance comes in short.
Own safety on your shift — daily walks, protocol enforcement, incident response, and the expectation that your supervisors use: their stop-work authority.
Partner with Data Quality on your shift's acceptance rate; drive root cause into retraining and process rather than into a rework queue.
Escalate equipment and rig issues to Lab Engineering and keep staffed-but-idle hours visible.
Handle performance management and employee relations escalations from your supervisors, partnering with HR.
Hold California meal, rest, and overtime compliance across every non-exempt employee on your shift.
Report your shift's performance and variance daily, with the explanation and the fix, not just the number.
What Good Looks Like
Your shift hits plan without overtime surprises or last-minute heroics.
Handoffs are clean enough that the next shift starts producing immediately.
Your supervisors make decisions without calling you, and your Cell Leads are being prepared for supervision.
Quality on your shift doesn't vary from the other shifts — consistency is the whole point of this layer.
Problems reach the Production Manager as "here's what happened and here's what I did," not as an open question.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years in production, manufacturing, warehouse, or lab operations, including 2+ years managing supervisors or team leads.
Experience with full accountability for a shift or a production area of 75+ hourly employees.
Track record owning daily output and quality targets, and explaining variance credibly.
Experience with performance management, attendance, and employee relations for a non-exempt workforce.
Working knowledge of California wage and hourly requirements for non-exempt employees.
Available to own an assigned shift (day, swing, or night) onsite in Santa Clara.
Preferred Qualifications
Robotics, hardware, AI data collection, advanced manufacturing, or technical lab background.
Experience in a quality-gated operation where output is inspected before it counts.
Promoted from a supervisor role, or has promoted supervisors from their own team.
Comfort pulling and interpreting your own shift data from dashboards or spreadsheets.
Continuous improvement background — Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent practical experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Onsite robotics lab and warehouse environment; the majority of your shift is spent on the floor.
Assigned shift, with occasional cross-shift coverage during ramps, launches, and handoff issues.
Must be able to stand and walk the floor for extended periods.
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Why This Role Matters
Consistency across shifts is what turns a lab into an operation. This role is the reason the third shift produces like the first one, and the reason problems get solved on the floor instead of escalating.
Benefits Included in the Offer:
- Friendly Working Environment
- IT Equipment
- Social Activities
- Global Mobility Policy
- Employee Referral Program
- Employee Assistant Program
- Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
- HSA & FSA
- 401(k) retirement
- Short & Long Term Disability Insurance
- Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity Insurance
- Telemedicine Benefit
- Annual Leave
- Paid Public Holidays
- Maternity/Paternity Leave
Hourly Pay: $71-$81/hour.

ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
THE ROLE
We're building AI-native development practices into how this team works at a foundational level. That means infrastructure design needs to account for a new kind of collaborator: AI agents that generate, deploy, and operate software. The Staff Infrastructure Engineer on this team will keep systems running, define what safe, observable, AI-assisted infrastructure operations look like in practice, and set the standard for how the broader engineering organization follows.
_______________________________________________________________________
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
The Billing Platform Engineering team owns the systems that make Docker's commercial model real. You'll work on problems like:
- How do we design infrastructure that makes AI-generated deployments safe to ship and easy to roll back?
- How do we instrument billing systems so that failures — billing miscalculations, entitlement gaps, payment errors — are detected immediately and unambiguously?
- How do we build infrastructure that scales with usage-based billing workloads without manual intervention?
- How do we make the developer experience on this team faster and more reliable — local environments, CI/CD pipelines, deployment tooling?
_______________________________________________________________________
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and evolve the infrastructure supporting Billing Platform services: compute, storage, networking, CI/CD, and observability
- Design and maintain IaC (Terraform) for billing system infrastructure on AWS; set module patterns and standards for the team
- Build and own observability systems — metrics, logging, alerting — with a focus on billing accuracy and payment reliability
- Define deployment patterns and runbooks that work well in an AI-agent-assisted development workflow: clear rollback procedures, safe promotion gates, automated validation
- Partner with software engineers on service design — bringing infrastructure constraints and operational requirements into the conversation before code is written
- Identify systemic risks and drive improvements that span team or organizational boundaries
- Lead incident response for billing system issues. This role may require participation in an on-call rotation to provide support outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Mentor engineers across the team; your technical judgment should raise the floor for everyone.
_______________________________________________________________________
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years in platform, infrastructure, or SRE roles supporting production SaaS systems at scale
- Deep AWS expertise: ECS or EKS, RDS (Postgres preferred), networking, IAM, cost management — you've operated these systems under real load and real incidents
- Expert-level Terraform; you've designed reusable module patterns and set standards others follow
- Experience building and owning observability stacks (Datadog, Grafana, or similar) at an organizational level — not just using them
- Strong familiarity with CI/CD systems — Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent — including pipeline design and developer experience ownership
- Kubernetes at an operational and architectural level
- A track record of identifying systemic risks and driving improvements that span team or organizational boundaries
- Security-first mindset: threat modeling, blast radius analysis, least-privilege by default, audit trails as a design requirement
- Strong written English; at Staff level, written communication is how you scale your influence across teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
WHAT SETS YOU APART
You don't wait for problems to be handed to you — you find them, frame them, and drive the solution. You've operated at a scope where your decisions affected multiple teams or systems, and you know how to build consensus and move work forward without direct authority. You've thought seriously about what infrastructure needs to look like when AI agents are generating and shipping code — safe deployment patterns, strong observability, clean rollback — and you want to help define that standard here. Experience with billing, payments, or financial systems infrastructure is a meaningful plus.
_______________________________________________________________________
WHAT TO EXPECT
FIRST 30 DAYS
You will ship code in your first week. We run an agent-first development workflow — infrastructure changes start with a plan, specifications are written before generation, and every change is reviewed before it merges — and onboarding is no exception. You will get hands-on with the infrastructure supporting Billing Platform services early, shadow on-call, and build a clear picture of the system before you start making bigger changes. By the end of 30 days you will have shipped real work and know where the most important problems are.
FIRST 90 DAYS
You will have taken ownership of one or more infrastructure components and delivered an improvement from design to production with measurable impact. You will be an active participant in deployment and reliability discussions, bringing infrastructure constraints and operational requirements into the conversation early — before code is written. You will be a full participant in the on-call rotation and have begun shaping the team's technical direction.
ONE YEAR OUTLOOK
You will be the team's trusted authority on billing infrastructure. You will have driven meaningful improvements to observability, deployment safety, or platform reliability — and your work will be directly visible in the resilience and correctness of systems that handle real financial transactions for millions of Docker users. You will have helped define what AI-agent-assisted infrastructure operations look like done right, and that standard will be visible beyond this team.

ABOUT SENTRY
Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building.
Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Sentry is looking for a Manager, Design Engineering to lead the team behind Scraps, our design system. This role would manage a team of designers and front-end engineers that is building the infrastructure that powers our UI development.
This role lives at the intersection of design, engineering and AI tooling. The ideal candidate is comfortable reviewing a component's API in a pull request, can critique the consistency of typography across components, and has created skills to help agents use a design system more effectively. This role will set the direction for our system, grow the team, and stay close enough to the work to make design and implementation decisions.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Manage and grow a team of engineers and designers — hiring, leveling, and coaching across both crafts
- Own the strategic roadmap for the team: what components to prioritize, what tools to adopt, which parts of the web app to refactor, etc.
- Help maintain the UI quality and expression that Sentry is known for
- Keep design and code in sync — tokens, variables, component parity, and the pipeline from Figma to production
- Stay hands-on building components and the infrastructure to enable fast, accurate agentic front-end development and prototyping
- Drive adoption across product teams through documentation, lint rules, and contribution workflows that don't slow anyone down
YOU'LL LOVE THIS JOB IF YOU

Tempo is a layer-1 blockchain purpose-built for stablecoins and real-world payments, born from Stripe’s experience in global payments and Paradigm’s expertise in crypto tech.
Tempo’s payment-first design provides a scalable, low-cost predictable backbone that meets the needs of high-volume payment use cases. Our goal is to move money reliably, cheaply, and at scale. Our north star is simplicity for users: fintechs, traditional banks, merchants, platforms, and anyone else looking to move their payments into the 21st century.
We're building Tempo with design partners who are global leaders in AI, e-commerce, and financial services: Anthropic, Coupang, Deutsche Bank, DoorDash, Mercury, Nubank, OpenAI, Revolut, Shopify, Standard Chartered, Visa, and more.
We’re a team of crypto-optimists, building the infrastructure needed to bring real, substantial economic flows onchain. We like to move fast and swing for the fences — join us!
The role
You will be our first policy and government relations hire. You'll build Tempo's presence in Washington from the ground up. You'll represent us on Capitol Hill, with regulators, and across industry coalitions, and you'll help the company understand and shape the rules that govern stablecoins, digital payments and agentic commerce.
We're looking for a seasoned senior leader who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves. As our first policy and government relations hire, you’ll set the strategy and run it yourself. You will be our voice to Congress and regulators. You will also be a strategic partner to Legal, Product, Comms/Marketing, and GTM, shaping how policy factors into product decisions from the earliest stage. Context shifting will be critical to success; the best candidate will understand how to move between strategy and execution hour to hour and day to day.
Responsibilities
- Build and run Tempo's federal government relations strategy, with a focus on stablecoin, payments, digital assets and agentic commerce legislation and rule making
- Develop and maintain relationships with Members, committee staff and relevant regulators
- Engage on emerging AI and agentic commerce policy as it intersects with payments
- Track and analyze federal and key state policy developments, then turn them into clear guidance for leadership and product teams
- Draft comment letters, testimony, white papers, one-pagers, and briefing materials
- Build and manage Tempo's presence in trade associations and industry coalitions, and build alliances across the payments, fintech, and AI ecosystems
- Support company leadership in DC engagement
- Manage outside lobbying and policy consultants as needed
- Own the policy function end to end as a hands-on individual contributor
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of policy or government relations experience
- In-house government relations experience at a payments, fintech, financial services, or technology company
- Experience with payments policy, including stablecoins, money transmission, BSA/AML, card networks, real-time payments, or fintech regulation
- Strong relationships and credibility on both sides of the aisle
- Direct experience with digital asset policy, such as stablecoin legislation and implementation, market structure, or tax
- Excellent written and oral communication skills: you can turn complex technical and regulatory issues into crisp, persuasive material
- A self-starter comfortable working in a fast-moving startup, and quickly toggling between strategy and execution
Preferred qualifications
- Prior Capitol Hill experience, preferably on financial services, banking, or agriculture issues
- Experience with AI or agentic commerce policy
- Multi-client experience at a lobbying firm, consultancy, or trade association
- Familiarity with federal agency rulemaking and regulatory engagement
Attributes
- High motor; speed is a cherished attribute at Tempo
- Concise, evidence-based communicator
- Intense curiosity and open-mindedness
- Scrappiness; willingness to roll up sleeves
