INTERVIEW PROCESS
We believe that the interview process should be transparent, consistent, and enjoyable. We value your time and hope to complete the interview process in two to four weeks, if schedules allow. Through your interviews, you will meet a mix of individual contributors, managers, and senior leaders.
AI USE DURING THE INTERVIEW PROCESS
As an AI company, Coder embraces the use of AI tools, and we want to be transparent about our expectations as you navigate our interview process.
Not permitted: Using AI assistance during conversational interviews.
Permitted: Using AI tooling for take-home assessments. Please flag where and to what extent it was used in your take-home. Your submission will not be penalized for using AI as long as it is done honestly.
OUR USE OF AI IN HIRING
We use AI tools to help manage our recruitment process efficiently and fairly. Specifically:
- Ashby and Brainerr help us review inbound applications by surfacing candidates who best match the role requirements we've defined. This tool does not make hiring decisions; it helps our team prioritize which applications to review first.
- Granola takes notes during our interview calls so our team can focus on the conversation with you.
All hiring decisions are made by humans. Our team reviews applications, conducts interviews, and makes final selections. AI tools assist us but never replace human judgment, and these practices are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection, AI governance, and labor laws. Your data is not used to train AI models.
In accordance with New York City Local Law 144, an independent bias audit has been conducted on "Automated Employment Decision Tools"; results are available for Ashby https://www.ashbyhq.com/downloadables/ashby-bias-audit-08-2024.pdf.
If you're applying for a role at Coder and have questions about how we use AI in our process, or if you'd like to request information about the data we collect, please contact careers@coder.com.
CODER IS A PROUD EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, pregnancy, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
To be eligible for this role, you need to graduate in December 2026 and be able to start full time by January/February 2027.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- You'll work with others to plan, shape, and build new product features from start to finish: through conception, research, implementation, and maintenance. For example, you might work on driving adoption, by instrumenting key onboarding moments and iterating on activation flows.
- You'll help improve performance and reliability, or polish existing features. For example, you might update our spell checker to sync dictionaries across browsers or improve search to index file attachments.
- You'll build internal tools to support simplicity and productivity for the whole team. This might include writing a script to import user feedback into Notion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or another related field.
- To be eligible for this role, you need to graduate by Dec 2026 and be able to start FTE by January/February 2027.
- Previous internship experience.
- Working towards a proficiency of one or more programming languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Impact-driven approach to technology: You see technologies as tools to achieve user impact rather than ends in themselves. You care more about building successful systems that solve real problems than about using specific tech stacks or following trends.
- You stay current with the latest tools like Codex, Claude Code, and other AI-assisted development environments. You're pragmatic about choosing the right tool for the job, focusing on what delivers the most value to users.
- Thoughtful problem-solving: For you, problem-solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution, by yourself or with teammates. You're comfortable asking for help when you get stuck. You think about the implications of what you're building and how it will impact real people's lives.
- Team player: For you, work isn't a solo endeavor. You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to accomplish shared goals, and you care about learning, growing, and helping others to do the same.
- Passion for web applications: You can work with others to build and maintain quality user interfaces for a big audience, using Web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern UI framework like React.
- Familiarity with backend systems: You understand how parts of a system fit together—from the user interface to the data model. Familiarity with database systems like Postgres, MySQL or MongoDB is a plus.
NICE TO HAVES:
- You have experience with any part of our technology stack: React, TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, and Elasticsearch.
- You’re a builder who finds joy in building software solutions for yourself or others.
- You care about the interaction between technology and society, the ways in which they inform each other, and our responsibility as technologists to be conscious of that relationship.
- You've heard of computing pioneers like Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, Alan Kay, and others—and understand why we're big fans of their work.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCOMMODATIONS
We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. What You’ll Do
Design and implement features and performance improvements across the Metadata team's services — discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history
Develop, maintain, and test high-quality, maintainable code, and optimize critical paths for performance
Write technical designs for feature-level work, actively seek feedback, and clearly explain the trade-offs of your decisions
Participate in and review technical designs and pull requests, providing constructive feedback to the team
Improve test coverage with comprehensive unit tests and refactor code to drive down tech debt
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, and follow up on incidents with post-mortems and mitigation plans
Break features into tasks, structure and execute your own project plans, and contribute to sprint and feature planning
Collaborate with product managers, QE, customer support, and peers to deliver the best product with high quality, performance, and scalability
Participate periodically in the on-call rotation, and be mindful of security throughout your work
Use AI tooling — IDE assistants like GitHub Copilot, coding agents like Claude Code, and conversational AI — to accelerate development and to author and review SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Skills We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in the software industry with a passion for solving complex software engineering problems, including designing and building backend services and reusable components from the ground up
Experience working with distributed systems and cloud computing concepts
Demonstrated ability to write well-structured, performant, and well-tested code
Ability to independently lead feature-level software and design work that satisfies project requirements, and to clearly explain design trade-offs
Can identify design flaws in existing systems and propose improvements
Experience with code reviews, design, troubleshooting, and testing
Proficiency in a modern backend or systems language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with continuous integration tooling such as BuildKite, and familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or Grafana is a plus
Fluent in using AI code assistants and coding agents to generate and investigate code, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to research, author, review, and synthesize SDLC artifacts
Bonus Skills
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based data platforms
Experience building or working with metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem

About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs are building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We're looking for a staff software engineer to be a technical leader on our Metadata team, which owns the metadata layer of the dbt platform — the discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history services that let customers understand, trust, and act on what their data is doing.
As a
Staff Software Engineer
, you'll contribute to the technical direction for the team. You'll own the architecture of major subsystems, lead complex projects that span multiple engineers, and raise the bar for design and code quality across the team. You'll spend your time on the hardest technical problems, and multiply the team through design reviews, coaching, and mentorship.
Technologies You'll Use
Python, GraphQL, Postgres, Snowflake, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, Datadog
What You'll Do
Lead the design and delivery of complex, team-level projects across the Metadata services, coordinating development across multiple engineers
Independently design and develop the architecture of new subsystems, and own team-level subsystems end to end
Use AI tooling and agents — across development and SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Review and approve technical designs, ensuring they meet a high quality bar, and identify design deficiencies before they ship
Drive technical initiatives across the team's responsibility areas — discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history
Set and uphold design, architecture, and coding best practices, and hold teammates accountable for code quality
Coach and mentor engineers, demonstrably improving the quality of code across the team
Write technical specs, document common components, and keep the team accountable for necessary project documentation
Fix and optimize critical parts of the codebase, drive incident follow-through, and advance the reliability and performance of the services you own
Participate periodically in the on-call rotation
Skills We're Looking For
8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of leading complex, team-scope technical work to completion
Deep expertise designing and owning subsystems in distributed, cloud-based systems
Demonstrated ability to set technical direction for a team and drive multi-engineer initiatives across an area of ownership
Excellent design and architecture judgment; identifies design flaws in existing systems and proposes sound solutions with clear trade-offs
Writes exemplary, well-tested code that serves as a model for others, and reliably estimates and delivers sprint to sprint
Strong track record of raising quality through code review, coaching peers, and enforcing accepted engineering practices
Experience partnering with QE on test strategy and owning operational health — incidents, post-mortems, reliability, and performance
Proficiency in a modern backend or systems language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and managing dev infrastructure
Fluent in using AI code assistants and coding agents to generate and investigate code, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to author, review, and synthesize SDLC artifacts — and able to model those practices for a team
Bonus Skills
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based data platforms
Experience architecting metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem

About the Job:
Software powers the world, and LaunchDarkly empowers teams to deliver and control it safely. As a
Senior Backend Engineer
on the
Billing
team, you will own the systems that turn every plan, price, entitlement, and usage limit into revenue — checkout, subscription and entitlement APIs, usage metering, and the integrations to our billing, CRM, and finance systems. When billing is wrong, customers get the wrong product and we invoice the wrong amount. Correctness here is a commitment to our customers, not a nice-to-have.
You and your team will drive the modernization of our billing platform. Technologies include Go, TypeScript, Postgres, AWS, and Terraform. Exact tool match matters far less than deep backend judgment and a track record of safely changing systems that are not allowed to be wrong.
Responsibilities:
Design and build the systems that define our plans, pricing, entitlements, and limits, and expose them through our API.
Decompose billing from our monolith into services that are correct, testable, and independently deployable.
Own correctness end to end — usage metering, reconciliation, and the invoices and usage data customers see.
Operate what you build: SLOs, alerting, on-call, and fixing root causes rather than repeating mitigations.
Qualifications:
6+ years of professional software-engineering experience, with significant work on complex backend applications.
Experience decomposing a monolith
A track record on systems where correctness is non-negotiable, and the habits that come with it: idempotency, reconciliation, reversible migrations, and safe cutovers.
Proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Rust, Python, etc.) and familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent), plus strong production ownership including on-call.
Bonus
Billing, payments, or metering systems, or usage-based pricing.
Modeling entitlements, quotas, or multi-tenant limits.
Pay:
Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level 4:
Zone 1:
San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle
- $191,800 - $263,670**
Zone 2:
Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago -
$172,600 - $237,270**
Zone 3:
All other US locations -
$
163,000 - $224,070
**
LaunchDarkly operates from a place of high trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
*Within the United States, our geographic pay zones are defined by counties surrounding major metropolitan areas.
**Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
About LaunchDarkly:
Modern software delivery was supposed to be the foundation for a thriving digital business but reality has proven otherwise. Developers can target product experiences to any customer segment and maximize the business impact of every feature. And by gradually rolling out new application components, they escape nightmare "big-bang" technology migrations.
The LaunchDarkly platform was built to guide engineers to the next frontier of DevOps by:

Delivering targeted experiences by easily personalizing features to customer cohorts
Maximizing the business impact of every feature through the ability to experiment and optimize
Coordinating the release and optimization of software to provide consistent experiences across mobile platforms and device types
Improving the effectiveness and productivity of engineering teams, by providing insights into engineering cadence and stability

We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to help shape AI governance for developer tooling at Coder. This role sits on our AI Governance team, which builds and maintains two enterprise-grade components of Coder's AI governance stack.
AI Gateway is a centralized LLM gateway that sits between coding agents and providers such as OpenAI or Anthropic, providing organizations with audit trails, token tracking, cost control, and centralized authentication. Agent Firewall wraps those agents with default-deny network policies, controlling which domains and methods they can reach inside workspaces.
This team works across the full stack - from Go backend and React frontend to integrating with LLM provider APIs. Day to day, you'll be shipping features, hardening security boundaries, collaborating with enterprise customers on real-world policy needs, and contributing to Coder's open-source ecosystem.
What you'll do here
- Design and build product features that push the standard for remote development in self-hosted environments
- Create and improve upon popular open source projects that integrate with VS Code, JetBrains, and other developer tools
- Champion best practices to both internal team members and external contributors
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams at Coder, as well as with partners like JetBrains, to execute key product integrations
- Document the design, implementation, and operations of systems for knowledge sharing within the team
- Work alongside Customer Success teams to support Coder’s enterprise user base
- Work with cutting-edge AI technologies to create seamless, painless developer experiences
- Rapidly iterate from prototype to implementation in a highly adaptive, reactive team environment
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of full-stack experience writing code in a professional setting, with 1+ year(s) writing Go (ideally in current or most recent position)
- Proficiency in building distributed systems in Go
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills, and the tenacity to drive a solution to a conclusion
- You are self-motivated with a creative and analytical mindset
Our tech stack
- Frontend: Typescript, React, Vite
- Backend: Go, Postgres, GCP, Kubernetes, gRPC
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions
- General: GitHub, Slack, Discord, Notion
Bonus tacos if you have
- (Tacos? If you need an ice-breaker, ask how we say thanks by giving tacos!)
- Experience with TypeScript and React
- You have a background in developer tooling, platform engineering, or IaC
- You have a curiosity about the latest tech trends and what is going on in the world of developer tools

The Product Infrastructure team works on creating abstractions and data models that solve enduring problems across the stack. We solve problems that span multiple product surfaces and typically stretch across both front-end and backend and unblock new product avenues that were previously challenging to create.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Shape and build the core frameworks that enable reading and writing data in Notion, integrating feedback from internal customers along the way, using whatever tools are required for the job, such as AWS, Postgres, NodeJS, TypeScript, React on the frontend.
- Design new systems and abstractions that improve developer productivity, reliability, and performance by handling entire classes of problems up-front for product engineers.
- Solve hard technical challenges such as designing abstractions for efficient traversal of the user content graph, building a system to sync user content for offline use, or scaling our permission model to serve large customers with complex content.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Thoughtful problem-solving: For you, problem-solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution.
- Pragmatic and business-oriented: You care about business impact and prioritize projects accordingly. You're not just going after cool stuff—you understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
- Strive for simplicity: You think critically about the implications of what you're building, and aim for the most simple and well-crafted design. You understand the consequence of complexity, and are motivated to eliminate them.
- Not ideological about technology: To you, technologies and programming languages are about tradeoffs. You may be opinionated, but you're not ideological and can learn new technologies as you go.
- Empathetic communication: You communicate nuanced ideas clearly, whether you're explaining technical decisions in writing or brainstorming in real time. In disagreements, you engage thoughtfully with other perspectives and compromise when needed.
- Team player: For you, work isn't a solo endeavor. You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to accomplish shared goals, and you care about learning, growing, and helping others to do the same.
NICE TO HAVES:
- You have leveraged the features of typed languages (e.g. TypeScript, Flow) to drive code migrations, or have implemented your own data modeling paradigms (e.g. writing your own ORM, sync engine, or query language).
- You have seen how fundamental abstractions scale within a large codebase, and are curious about how different organizations solve similar problems (e.g. TAO by Meta, Zanzibar by Google).
- You've heard of computing pioneers like Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, Alan Kay, and others—and understand why we're big fans of their work.
- You have interests outside of technology, such as in art, history, or social sciences.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our core team and perform a healthy mix of design and implementation tasks to advance the technical foundation behind the Fivetran product offering.
This team is tasked with evolving a high performance extract-load-trans form data integration system that enables our engineering teams to correctly implement hundreds of data connectors with minimal maintenance effort. The role will challenge you to reason about relational semantics, powerful abstractions, data representation, and software performance. You don’t need to be a subject matter expert before you join us (you will be one before you leave!), but you will need to have experience working carefully with a high impact software team — especially in environments where the best option may not be obvious, your decisions have cascading implications, and where you sometimes need to measure twice before you cut once. A successful candidate will be humble enough to collect diverse input and build consensus, will be experienced and confident enough to be decisive when it’s needed, and will be practical enough to build and iterate on the system while it’s in production. We are also looking for expertise and productivity with both modern and legacy software development environments.
This is a full-time position based out of our Novi Sad office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration.
Technologies You’ll Use
C (our main language), Python (used in testing), relational databases (Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server), make
GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Jenkins, GCP , Azure, AWS
macOS/Linux/Unix/Windows, git
What You’ll Do
Learn deeply about Fivetran in order to focus development on practical and relevant system improvements
Contribute to the development and planning of our roadmap
Collaborate with a small but mighty core team, and with a broader set of stakeholders
Work across the project lifecycle: requirements, design, prototype, implementation, review, release, monitoring
Review and approve pull requests
Care and feel ownership of our product, and leverage your skills towards improving it
Skills We’re Looking For
You are execution-oriented, and understand the need to target your “innovation budget” for the greatest impact: you find the middle ground between “perfect, but takes forever to code” and “fixes it now, but nobody will ever be able to understand what I did”
You know how to design and code systems and software that is effective, intuitive, easy-to-operate, and elegantly simple
You have worked with the relevant tooling and techniques: cloud services, network protocols, serialization, relational databases, etc.
You have knowledge of complex structures, object orientation, exceptions, memory management techniques.
Bonus Skills
Experience with data replication, ETL/ELT tools, cloud and software defined infrastructure tools (for instance AWS Cloud Formation, Kubernetes, Docker), API technologies and analytics is definitely a plus
Knowledge of DBMS internals is a strong plus
Familiarity with low level concepts, such as encoding and the internals of network communication, is a strong plus
Familiarity with system level programming (such as process and memory management and inter-process communication) is a plus

ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst, Marketing to join our Data Intelligence team and build the measurement foundation that tells us what's actually working across paid and PLG channels. You'll work closely with Marketing, Growth, and channel owners, helping us move past platform-reported metrics and vanity numbers into causal, trusted answers about what drives pipeline and revenue.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in async, fast-paced environments, is AI-forward in how they work, and is excited about building a measurement function from the ground up.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Marketing Measurement Strategy
- Own the end-to-end marketing measurement strategy across experimentation, media mix modeling, and attribution for paid and PLG channels
- Establish and evolve the attribution framework: how platform data, multi-touch attribution, MMM, and experiments work together to inform decisions
- Translate complex measurement outputs into clear recommendations on where to invest, what to cut, and how to hit pipeline, revenue, and efficiency targets (CAC, payback, LTV to CAC)
- Serve as the subject matter expert for marketing measurement, educating stakeholders on causality, model uncertainty, and the limitations of platform-reported metrics
Incrementality and Experimentation
- Design and run always-on incrementality tests, user-level and geo-level, to quantify the causal impact of key channels, campaigns, and tactics
- Calculate incremental lift, incrementality percent, and incremental ROAS/CPA, and use these to guide budget reallocation
- Build repeatable analysis templates and playbooks for experiment design, analysis, and readouts so results are consistent across teams
- Partner with channel owners (paid search, paid social, lifecycle, website/SEO) to build and prioritize a experimentation roadmap, embedding it into campaign planning, creative testing, and audience strategy
Media Mix Modeling and Forecasting
- Build and maintain media mix models using historical data to estimate channel contribution, marginal returns, and optimal budget allocation
- Incorporate seasonality, adstock, and saturation effects, and continuously validate model performance through backtesting and reconciliation with experiment results
- Turn MMM insights into budget scenarios and forecasts across channels and regions, communicated in a way non-technical stakeholders can act on
Context, Tooling, and Data Integrity
- Own and build the context and skills that let marketing teams run accurate self-serve analytics: metric definitions, model documentation, and reusable analysis patterns, not just dashboards
- Use AI tools as a core part of daily work to accelerate analysis and go deeper than a traditional analyst workflow allows, and help establish AI-forward practices across the marketing org
- Identify gaps and inconsistencies in marketing data (tracking, spend, platform exports) and work cross-functionally to fix them at the root rather than patching around them downstream
You Might Be a Good Fit If You
- Have 6+ years in marketing analytics, data science, or a related role, with a focus on performance marketing and/or PLG growth
- Deeply understand marketing attribution, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling, and how they complement each other rather than compete
- Are advanced in SQL and at least one statistical programming language (Python or R) for experiment analysis and modeling
- Have hands-on experience designing, running, and interpreting experiments across digital marketing channels: search, social, display, email, in-product
- Have built or worked closely with MMM and/or advanced attribution models, ideally in a consumption or BaaS environment
- Have strong business acumen and fluency in growth metrics: CAC, LTV, payback period, conversion rates, funnel performance
- Think in terms of self-service and scale: your instinct is to build tools and frameworks that make marketing teams independently capable, not to become the bottleneck for every "did this work" question
- Can hold technical and strategic context at once: you're as comfortable in a model's residuals as you are in a conversation about budget tradeoffs
- Are AI-forward in how you work: you use LLMs and AI tooling habitually and have a clear point of view on how it changes what an analyst can do
- Communicate clearly to non-technical stakeholders and know how to make causal nuance land in a business conversation
- Thrive in async, autonomous environments and are energized by building a measurement function from the ground up
Nice to Haves
- Experience in BaaS, DevRel or open source dev tool companies, connecting marketing spend to pipeline and revenue outcomes
- Experience with applied econometrics, time-series modeling, or Bayesian methods for MMM and experimentation
- Familiarity with common marketing and analytics tools (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, web analytics, CDPs, BI/visualization tools)
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.
- Tech Allowance
Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.
- Health Benefits
Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us.
- Annual Off-Sites
Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.
- Flexible Work
We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
- Professional Development
Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love.
- ~400 team members
- 60+ countries
- 20+ languages spoken
- Over $1B raised (including our $500M Series F)
- 540,000+ community members
We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.
