ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a Growth Engineer to own the technical foundation of Modal’s marketing and developer-facing web surfaces: the marketing site, docs site, growth landing pages, high-profile microsites, forms, analytics instrumentation, and the integrations that help users discover, understand, and get started with Modal.
This is a frontend-heavy role for someone with strong product taste, web engineering craft, and a business-owner mindset. You’ll partner with Product Engineering, Design, Data, and Growth to ship polished, measurable web experiences, from high-profile projects like the GPU Glossary https://modal.com/gpu-glossary and LLM Engine Advisor https://modal.com/llm-almanac/advisor to internal tooling that helps teams publish content faster.
When this role is going well, Modal launches new pages, docs experiences, campaigns, and experiments quickly without sacrificing performance, craft, or measurement.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Own and evolve Modal’s marketing site, docs site, and technical web experiences as high-quality engineering systems, not static content
- Build bespoke interactive projects with engineers, turning deep technical work into useful web experiences for developers and agents
- Instrument all public-facing content, all the way from human-facing marketing pages to agent-targeted, self-improving documentation
- Improve internal publishing flows so more teams can ship quality content quickly while keeping the site maintainable
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You’ve built and shipped modern web applications end-to-end
- You have experience with agentic development flows where agents consume marketing content and docs to help developers build on Modal
- You can build polished, responsive web experiences without needing every detail specified
- You have a business-owner mindset and strong data intuition: you think about conversion, activation, developer trust, speed of launch, and quality of measurement, and the tradeoffs inherent to each
- You’re excited about developer-facing AI infrastructure and building web experiences that feel credible to engineers
- You’re able to work in person in our NYC office
We care more about what you’ve built than years of experience.
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Deep knowledge of SEO, AEO, structured content, or agentic discoverability
- Experience with marketing sites, docs sites, or product-led-growth surfaces at a devtools, infra, or AI company
- Familiarity with our stack: Svelte/SvelteKit, TypeScript, Tailwind, Vite, MDX/SVX content systems, headless CMS (Sanity), Playwright/Vitest
- Familiarity with our integrations: Segment, Snowflake, PostHog, Sentry, Algolia/DocSearch, Fillout, Pylon, Ashby
- Experience designing growth experiments, A/B tests, or funnel instrumentation
- A portfolio of polished sites, docs systems, interactive demos, or growth experiments

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Credit Engineering team builds the systems that enable Ramp to manage credit lifecycles for businesses end-to-end, from initial underwriting through ongoing portfolio strategy optimization. As an engineer on Credit, you’ll own systems that influence $100+ billion in annual payment volume through millions of decisions across our product stack in support of the most ambitious FinTech portfolio in the United States.
We are looking for a backend engineer to own the technical roadmap for underwriting, limit management, portfolio optimization, and agentic workflows. You will build robust systems, automate complex operational tasks, and maintain the high-frequency controls that power all of Ramp’s products. If you are obsessed with correctness, excited by ambiguity, and passionate about problems at the intersection of distributed systems and financial strategy, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Architect scalable, stateful systems for automated limit management to optimize Ramp’s charge card portfolio.
- Envision and build the next generation of agents and tools that automate manual credit decisions and increase operational efficiency.
- Develop high-volume, low-latency risk controls to support Ramp’s expansion into new products, customer segments, and geographies.
- Design and build real-time decisioning systems spanning the entirety of a business's credit lifecycle on Ramp.
- Partner closely with analysts, data scientists, and product to translate risk strategies into reliable software.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 2+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python or a comparable backend language.
- Experience working with distributed systems and async frameworks.
- Proficiency with converting abstract business problems into robust data models and technical specs.
- Experience building or operating systems with strict auditability, observability, and correctness guarantees.
- High ownership mentality – you care deeply about the systems you build.
- Ability to work closely with non-engineering partners (Risk Strategy, Ops, Sales) to create impact.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience leveraging AI/LLMs for development or for internal workflows.
- Interest in financial optimization problems.
- Willingness to learn and move fast while holding the bar on correctness.
- Defensive programming aptitude.
- Experience using feature stores, rule engines, and ML platforms in production.

About the Role
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is a deeply technical post-sales role focused on driving successful adoption of Azul Prime within a portfolio of strategic customers. Unlike a traditional TAM role, this position is hands-on and technical first. You will spend the majority of your time engaged with customer engineering teams on JVM performance tuning, troubleshooting, reliability engineering, and architectural guidance. Strong relationship skills matter, but it is technical credibility with developers, SREs, and architects that makes this role successful.
You will be trusted by Azul’s most important accounts to ensure that their mission-critical Java applications run on Prime with the best possible performance, stability, and cost efficiency. And you will serve as the bridge between customers and Azul’s engineering organization, feeding real-world insights back into the product.
What Makes This Role Different
Technical depth first. Expect to spend significant time reading thread dumps, GC logs, and flight recordings — not building slide decks.
Direct partnership with Azul engineering. You will work side-by-side with our runtime, GC, JIT compiler, and tooling teams on complex customer issues.
Ownership of technical outcomes. You own production adoption of Azul Prime within your accounts — from candidate application selection through successful rollout and ongoing optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Ownership
Own a portfolio of named strategic customers, with flexibility to engage additional high-value Azul Prime customers as opportunities arise.
Build and maintain deep, long-term relationships with technical stakeholders — SREs, Java developers, platform engineers, and architects.
Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Support on joint account planning, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
Technical Leadership
Serve as the primary technical advisor for Azul Prime across your accounts.
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning engagements for JVM-based applications running at enterprise scale.
Provide architectural guidance on reliability, scalability, latency, throughput, and cloud cost optimization.
Work with customers to identify and qualify candidate applications for Azul Prime, then partner with them through successful production deployment.
Product & Engineering Partnership
Collaborate with Azul’s runtime, compiler, GC, and tooling engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Channel structured, actionable customer feedback into Azul’s product and engineering organizations to help shape the roadmap.
Act as a senior point of technical escalation for high-severity issues within your accounts.
Enablement & Knowledge Sharing
Design and deliver customer-facing workshops, training sessions, and technical business reviews.
Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, runbooks, and reusable customer-facing assets for Azul Prime.
Share knowledge internally, mentoring peers across the TAM, Sales Engineering, and Support organizations.
Keep internal systems current with account activity, engagement notes, and customer outcomes.
Required Qualifications
12+ years in senior technical roles such as software engineering, SRE, performance engineering, or cloud/platform engineering.
8+ years in customer-facing technical roles (TAM, solutions architect, consulting engineer, or SRE with direct customer engagement).
Strong working knowledge of Java programming and JVM internals — garbage collection, JIT compilation, class loading, threading, and memory model.
Demonstrated experience tuning and troubleshooting enterprise-scale Java applications in production.
Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and apply structured problem-solving techniques.
Strong Linux fundamentals, including shell scripting and performance troubleshooting on Linux systems.
Hands-on experience with distributed systems, public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure), and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for audiences ranging from individual engineers to senior executives.
Based in North America and able to travel occasionally to customer sites (typically 10–20%).
Preferred Qualifications
Deep specialization in JVM performance tuning, GC behavior analysis, and low-latency Java applications.
Experience with observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, JFR, or similar APM tools).
Familiarity with microservices architectures and modern cloud-native Java deployment patterns.
Cloud platform certification (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SRE-related certifications.
Contributions to open-source Java projects or active participation in the broader Java technical community.
Experience using Jira and Confluence to raise bugs and maintain documentation.
Prior experience with Azul Prime, OpenJDK, HotSpot, or other commercial Java runtimes.
Why Azul
At Azul, you will work alongside a team of Java experts who genuinely love the platform, on problems that matter to some of the most demanding engineering organizations in the world. Our technology powers mission-critical Java workloads at massive scale, and our customers rely on us precisely because we go deeper on Java than anyone else. If you want your technical expertise to have outsized impact — and you want to be surrounded by people who share that passion — we would love to talk!

THE ROLE:
We’re looking for an Infrastructure Security Engineer to design and secure the core systems that power our platform. This role focuses on building security directly into our infrastructure: from container isolation and orchestration to identity and secrets management in a multi-tenant, cloud-native environment.
You’ll work closely with engineering teams to define secure primitives and ensure our platform is resilient, scalable, and trustworthy by design.
This is a hands-on, deeply technical role focused on real systems, not compliance or policy.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:

- Design and improve isolation mechanisms for multi-tenant workloads (containers, sandboxing, execution environments)
- Strengthen boundaries between customers, workloads, and internal systems
- Identify and mitigate risks in distributed, dynamic compute environments
Container & Orchestration Security
- Secure and harden containerized workloads and orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes or similar)
- Improve workload isolation, scheduling boundaries, and runtime protections
- Evaluate tradeoffs in multi-tenant execution models
Identity & Access Management
- Design and improve authentication and authorization systems across services
- Implement strong service-to-service identity and least-privilege access patterns
- Improve access controls across infrastructure and internal systems
Secrets & Key Management
- Build and maintain systems for securely managing secrets, tokens, and credentials
- Improve rotation, auditing, and access controls
- Reduce secret sprawl and integrate secure patterns into developer workflows
Cloud & Infrastructure Security
- Secure cloud environments across providers (AWS, GCP, etc.) with a focus on consistency and portability
- Improve network boundaries, service segmentation, and access controls
- Embed security into infrastructure-as-code and deployment systems
Engineering Partnership
- Work closely with product and infrastructure teams to design secure systems from the ground up
- Review architecture and code for security risks and provide actionable guidance
- Identify patterns in risks and drive cross-cutting improvements
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
Core Experience
- You have experience securing cloud-native infrastructure and distributed systems in production
- You have a background in infrastructure, backend, or security engineering
- You’ve worked in multi-tenant or high-scale environments
Technical Depth
- You have a strong understanding of containerization and orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes or similar)
- You’ve designed or secured isolation mechanisms in multi-tenant systems
- You have a solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and service identity models
- You have experience with secrets management and secure handling of credentials
- You have a strong foundation in networking concepts (segmentation, service communication, access boundaries)
Mindset
- You have a builder mentality: you design and implement, not just review
- You take a pragmatic approach to security in fast-moving environments
- You’re comfortable working deeply with engineers and influencing system design
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience with sandboxing or runtime isolation technologies (e.g., gVisor, Firecracker, seccomp, or similar)
- Familiarity with kernel-level or low-level isolation primitives
- Experience securing Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems in production
- Background in developer infrastructure, compute platforms, or multi-tenant systems

Jito builds the Market Layer of Solana, the infrastructure that powers real markets on-chain. We started by building foundational network infrastructure: execution systems, capital markets, and incentive mechanisms that process billions in daily transaction value. Our products (Jito Block Engine, BAM, and JitoSOL) are market leaders and core to how Solana's economy operates.
Now we're moving up the stack. You’ll help build JTX, the trading app designed to capture the next generation of on-chain volume — not simply by adding more features or competing on fees, but by creating the platform serious traders genuinely want to use every day.
This is a product challenge that goes far beyond shipping functionality. It requires deep attention to speed, trust, feel, workflow, and user obsession at every level of the experience. The hardest part isn’t measuring what traders want — it’s building a product so intuitive and powerful that they choose it instinctively.
We're a small, profitable company with product-market fit. That means:
High ownership: Every team member drives significant technical decisions and shapes our product roadmap.
Fast execution: We ship rapidly and iterate based on real-world feedback. Progress, not motion.
Technical excellence: We tackle complex problems with elegant, scalable solutions.
Sustainable growth: Strong financials and proven market fit enable us to focus on long-term impact.
We offer competitive compensation, significant equity, and the opportunity to work on problems that matter.
About the Position
We're building JTX, a next-generation trading app that brings the speed, power, and sophistication of Solana’s market infrastructure directly to traders. This is a true 0-to-1 product effort focused on creating an experience that serious on-chain traders actually want to use — fast, intuitive, high-performance, and deeply connected to the mechanics of the market itself.
You’ll work alongside the team behind some of the leading infrastructure powering billions in daily transaction value on Solana, translating complex systems and market behavior into a seamless trading experience for users. Whether it’s shaping workflows, refining interfaces, improving execution visibility, or helping define the product from the ground up, this role will have a direct hand in building what trading on Solana looks like next.
If you've spent time thinking about how markets actually work on Solana and want to build the product layer on top of that, this is the role.
What You'll Do
Design and build core systems for our new product from scratch
Build low-latency, high-reliability services that interact directly with Solana's transaction and block building pipeline
Own critical infrastructure: order routing, execution, real-time market data, and position management
Implement security at every layer, from transaction signing to user data protection
Work closely with the product and infrastructure teams to ship fast and iterate based on real user feedback
Make significant architectural decisions as an early member of the team
What We're Looking For
5+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful time spent on distributed systems
Strong systems programming skills. Rust preferred, but deep experience in C/C++, Go, or similar is fine
Track record building reliable, low-latency systems in production
Security-first mindset. You think about attack surfaces, key management, and failure modes before writing code
Familiarity with Solana's runtime, transaction lifecycle, and market microstructure (MEV, block building, execution quality) is a strong plus
Comfortable operating with high autonomy and incomplete information. This is a 0-to-1 product, not a mature codebase
Relevant Background
If you have experience in any of the following, you may be a good fit:
Trading systems or exchange infrastructure
DeFi protocol engineering
Fintech backend systems (payments, custody, execution)
High-frequency or low-latency systems
Security engineering
Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR; Singapore, Singapore
OKX will be prioritising applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require OKX's sponsorship of a visa.

- Build trusted relationships with technical leaders (CTOs, VPs of Engineering, ML leads) at companies doing frontier AI work
- Conduct technical demos, experiments, and proofs of concept that make Modal’s performance advantages tangible
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You have 2+ years of professional ML engineering experience, ideally with hands-on work in inference optimization, model training, GPU programming, or ML infrastructure
- You’re familiar with the serving (e.g., vLLM, SGLang) and training (e.g., slime, verl, TRL) toolchains and can go deep on at least one (you don’t need all of them)
- You’re a strong communicator who can go deep on technical architecture with an engineering team and clearly articulate tradeoffs to technical leadership
- You have a genuine interest in working directly with customers: you find it energizing to understand someone else’s problem and help them solve it
- You’re willing to work in person in New York City, San Francisco, or Stockholm
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Side projects, open-source contributions, or published work you’re proud of in ML or systems performance
