ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for forward-thinking, high-performing AI Engineers who are excited to pioneer the future of AI-driven engineering at Paysend. In this role, you will work hands-on with Claude Code and the Anthropic API to design, harden, and ship agentic systems that write, review, test, and deploy code. This is a high-impact, build-and-own opportunity: you will take cutting-edge AI prototypes and turn them into resilient production infrastructure - directly empowering our global engineering teams, accelerating our product velocity, and helping us solidify Paysend as the definitive end-to-end payment infrastructure for the modern world.
THE ENGINEERING PROBLEM
The problem is not to make an LLM generate code. The problem is to make AI-assisted and agentic software delivery reliable enough to become part of normal engineering work.
These systems operate inside real software delivery workflows. They need to deal with incomplete context, failed execution, incorrect assumptions, external dependencies, changing repository state, and cases where an agent should not continue on its own. This means designing clear execution boundaries, decision points, observability, recovery and escalation paths, not only the agent behaviour itself.
The role includes shaping how these systems work, not only implementing integrations with existing AI tools.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design end-to-end AI-assisted delivery workflows, including agent responsibilities, execution boundaries, decision points, human intervention, failure handling, recovery, and escalation
Design and refine AI-driven pipelines that automate coding, code review, testing, and deployment tasks
Build and optimise agentic workflows using Claude Code and the Anthropic API, including custom tooling, MCP server integrations, sub-agents, and stateful orchestration logic
Engineer robust prompts, benchmark suites, and automated eval datasets; measure and improve pipeline accuracy, latency, and API costs
Define workflow-specific success criteria and operational evidence, including correctness, reliability, intervention and escalation rates, failure modes, and recovery effectiveness
Integrate core Anthropic capabilities (tool use, structured outputs, prompt caching, batch processing) into internal developer platforms
Handle unglamorous production work: sandboxed execution, strict error handling, retries, observability, guardrails, and edge cases
Own these systems after initial implementation: observe how they behave in real engineering workflows, investigate failures and incorrect behaviour, and improve the system based on operational evidence
Partner with engineers across the org to identify automation opportunities and roll out agentic tools safely with human-in-the-loop review mechanisms
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong software engineering background, with experience designing, building, and operating production systems, and strong hands-on experience with Python or TypeScript
Ability to decompose end-to-end engineering workflows, identify decision boundaries, failure modes, dependencies, observability needs, and recovery paths
Direct, hands-on experience with Claude Code—you've used it beyond casual experimentation and understand its strengths, limits, and configuration (CLAUDE.md, sub-agents, hooks)
Experience building with LLM APIs: prompt engineering, tool/function calling, structured outputs, context window optimization, agentic loops, and evaluation
Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integration and custom workflows
Comfort turning prototypes into production systems: CI/CD integration, containerized execution, reliability engineering, and monitoring
Pragmatic judgment about where AI automation helps and where traditional deterministic logic or human oversight is required
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with agent orchestration frameworks or building custom agent harnesses/tooling
Track record shipping internal developer platforms or CLI tooling
Contributions to open-source AI frameworks, developer tools, or MCP servers

ABOUT PEEC AI
Peec AI is the analytics platform for AI search. People increasingly discover products and make buying decisions through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews instead of traditional search, and most brands have no idea where they show up in those answers. Peec gives marketing, SEO, and growth teams the data to see exactly that: how visible their brand is across AI platforms, how they compare to competitors, and where to win.
We are defining this category, and the market is moving with us. Peec is a Series A company backed by 20VC and Singular, that went from $0 to $15M ARR in 18 months, with a 100+ person team across our Berlin HQ and our New York office.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Peec AI is building the data plane for AI visibility: millions of chats, scrapes, citations, sources, model responses, and customer-facing insights running through a fast-moving backend.
This role is for an engineer who wants to own the systems behind that. You will not just add endpoints or close tickets. You will make our scraping, chat-processing, source-ingestion, and analytics infrastructure more reliable, cheaper, faster, and easier for the rest of the team to reason about.
The best fit looks like someone who can debug a provider outage in the morning, design a better queueing model before lunch, ship a TypeScript service change in the afternoon, and write the postmortem or follow-up ticket clearly enough that the next engineer immediately knows what to do.
We are especially interested in people who have built or operated systems with real constraints: rate limits, flaky third-party APIs, queues, webhooks, retries, distributed locks, data migrations, observability gaps, customer pressure, and cost ceilings.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of backend, platform, infrastructure, or distributed systems engineering experience in a production environment.
- Deep hands-on TypeScript experience. We run TypeScript services on Bun, and we care about people who can design clean, reliable backend systems rather than only write application code.
- Strong understanding of queues, workers, retries, rate limits, idempotency, distributed locks, webhooks, and failure handling.
- Experience operating systems under real production pressure: incidents, provider outages, customer escalations, noisy alerts, slow dependencies, and incomplete data.
- Comfort with cloud-native infrastructure. Our stack includes GCP, Kubernetes, Cloud Tasks, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Redis, Postgres, Firestore, ClickHouse, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Ability to debug across layers: application code, logs, metrics, queues, provider APIs, databases, network behaviour, and deployment state.
- Product-minded judgement. You can separate internal detail from customer-safe explanation, and you understand when a “small infra change” has customer, security, or cost implications.
- High ownership and low ego. We want people who take responsibility for ambiguous systems, ask sharp questions, and make the team better through clear thinking and kindness.
- A bias toward durable fixes. You do not stop at “restart the pod” if the real issue is retry amplification, missing backpressure, an unsafe parser assumption, or a provider limit we do not model.
TECH STACK
- Languages: TypeScript, Python
- Runtime/frameworks: Bun, Elysia, Node-compatible services
- Cloud/infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, Cloud Tasks, Pub/Sub, Firebase/Firestore, Postgres, ClickHouse, Redis, RabbitMQ
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, structured logging
- Product/data domain: LLM chats, AI search, source scraping, citation extraction, provider integrations, customer-facing analytics
- AI/model providers: OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode / AI Overview, plus scraping/provider APIs around them
WHAT WE OFFER
- Exciting and challenging work with real impact and ownership at one of Europe’s fastest-growing Series A startups
- Regular team events and off-sites
- Aggressive equity compensation package
- Paid Dinner & Uber home when working late
- The most beautiful office space and work environment in Berlin

With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
The role
You will own and evolve the company’s threat detection and threat-hunting capability. This role defines what “good” looks like for detection and increasingly engineers it directly as capability shifts into Cyber Security.
This is not an alert-triage role. You are here to understand attacker behaviour, convert it into high-fidelity detection logic, and raise the security baseline for the entire organisation.
You will partner closely with Security Operations, GRC and Engineering—setting standards, direction, and expectations—while progressively taking ownership of the most complex and high-value detection and threat engineering work.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Engineering high-fidelity threat detections across endpoint, identity, cloud, and SaaS
- Defining detection standards, principles, and quality thresholds for Security Operations
- Conducting proactive threat hunting based on attacker behaviour, not vendor alerts
- Translating threat intelligence and incident learnings into durable, reusable detections
- Mapping detections to MITRE ATT&CK and real-world attack paths
- Reducing alert fatigue through logic refinement, correlation, and contextual enrichment
- Advising and supporting during high-severity security incidents; contribute to runbooks and escalation playbooks
- Driving the transition of advanced detection capability into Cyber Security ownership
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in detection engineering, threat hunting, or advanced SOC roles
- Deep understanding of modern attacker tradecraft and intrusion techniques across the attack lifecycle
- Hands-on experience buidling detection logic in modern SIEM platforms (e.g Sentinel)
- Proficienty with scripting and programmaining (e.g. Python, KQL) to build detection pipelines and automation
- Willingness to challenge bad detections, weak assumptions, and vanity metrics
- Pragmatic mindset: precision and impact beat coverage theatre
- Experience operating beyond traditional SOC or MSSP models
- Hands-on cloud detection experience (identity, control plane, SaaS)
- Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and frameworks such as PCI DSS, NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO27001, CIS Benchmarks, and MITRE ATT&CK for Cloud.
Additional Information

We create the conditions for high performers to thrive, through real ownership, fewer blockers, and work that makes a difference from day one.
Here, you’ll move fast, take on meaningful challenges, and be recognized for the impact you deliver. It’s a place where ambition gets met with opportunity, and where your growth is in your hands.
We work as one team, and we back each other to succeed. So whatever your background or identity, if you’re ready to grow and make a difference, you’ll be right at home here.

About Codex
Codex is building the infrastructure for stablecoin-based cross-border payments — moving money faster, cheaper, and more transparently than the legacy financial system. Backed by Circle, Coinbase, Dragonfly, Wintermute, and Cumberland, we're a small team solving hard problems at the intersection of crypto and global payments.
The Role
You'll own Codex's financial partner integrations end-to-end — from API contract and webhook design through to reconciliation and production hardening — and build the automation layer that makes our trading and treasury operations increasingly self-running.
This is a high-ownership role at the infrastructure layer of the business. You'll be adding new payment rails, eliminating manual operational workflows, and designing systems that handle real money reliably across fiat and crypto rails. You'll work directly with the founders and Engineering & Product Development team, and closely with Compliance, Operations, and Financial Partnerships.
Responsibilities
Financial Partner Integrations
- Own integrations with banks, payment providers, and liquidity venues end-to-end — from API contract and webhook design through to production hardening and reconciliation
- Build integrations that are robust to vendor reality: incomplete documentation, schema changes without warning, and validation rules that shift post-go-live
- Build messaging / notification systems with signature verification and replay protection; pin schemas against real sandbox behaviour; design for failure at every layer
- Maintain and evolve the reconciliation layer across all connected payment rails — fees, settlement windows, and exception handling as first-class concerns
Operational Automation
- Identify manual workflows in onboarding, compliance, and back-office operations and systematically replace them with product and automation
- Enable self-service for internal ops teams and customers, reducing engineering dependency for routine operational tasks
- Work closely with Compliance and Operations to understand where the friction is and build the tooling that removes it
Treasury & Liquidity Automation
- Design and build the automation layer for Codex's trading and treasury operations — automated position management, liquidity routing, and risk controls
- Design for failure: clear handling of automated decision failures, position unwinding, and safe degradation
Engineering Standards
- Set and maintain the engineering standard for how payment integrations are built at Codex — idempotency, audit trails, fail-closed design, exact decimal arithmetic, and deterministic durable orchestration
- Mentor engineers on the hard parts of money movement systems
- Continuously design and build for security, hardening our systems
- Ship and critically review AI-assisted code with the judgement to identify plausible but incorrect output or output detrimental to a product’s long-term health and sustainability
What We're Looking For
- 6 to 10 years of backend engineering experience in cross-border payments, stablecoins, FX infrastructure, or crypto custody
- Production experience with both crypto rails (on-chain settlement on major networks like Ethereum, Tron and Solana; bridging major stablecoins; DeFi protocols) and fiat rails (SWIFT, SEPA, local schemes such as FPS or CHATS)
- Must-have: Production experience with durable workflow orchestration — Temporal strongly preferred. Includes deterministic replay, safe versioning of live workflows, idempotency keys, and compensation logic
- Must-have: Strong TypeScript/Node and Postgres in a money context — fail-closed design, exact decimal arithmetic, append-only audit trails
- Must-have: Hands-on third-party API integration experience, including vendors with incomplete documentation, webhook reliability requirements, and schema instability

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's RL Data Platform team builds the systems that produce, move, and serve the human data Claude learns from: the interfaces humans use to give feedback, the pipelines that turn raw feedback into training signal, and the tooling researchers use to launch, monitor, and inspect data collection. Every RL run depends on a steady supply of high-quality data - human feedback, expert demonstrations, graded transcripts - and when a researcher has an idea for new data on Monday, our job is to make it collectable by Wednesday and in the training mix by Friday.
This is a full-stack, ownership-heavy role on a small, senior team. You'll design and ship web interfaces used by thousands of expert annotators, build the backend services and data pipelines behind them, and work directly with RL researchers to understand what data they need and why. You'll scope your own projects, make architectural calls, and see them through to production. We're looking for engineers who treat researchers as their users, build for reliability first, and care as much about the shape of the data leaving the system as the UI going into it.
Key responsibilities
Design, build, and operate the feedback and data collection interfaces used by human annotators, domain experts, and internal researchers.
Build and maintain the backend services, APIs, and pipelines that route model samples to humans and return structured feedback to training.
Own the reliability, latency, and usability of systems that run continuously against live model endpoints.
Partner with RL researchers to translate loosely specified data needs into well-scoped collection campaigns and the tooling to run them.
Build dashboards, monitoring, and inspection tools so researchers can see data quality and throughput without asking an engineer.
Identify and remove the bottlenecks between "we want this data" and "it's in the training mix".
Minimum qualifications
Strong full-stack engineering skills, with production experience in TypeScript/React on the frontend and Python on the backend.
Experience designing and operating backend services and data pipelines that other teams depend on.
A track record of owning projects end-to-end, from an ambiguous brief to something in production that people use.
Comfort working directly with technical stakeholders whose needs change week to week, and the judgment to push back when something isn't worth building.
Effective use of AI tools in your own day-to-day work.
Care about the societal impacts of your work.
Preferred qualifications
Experience building annotation, labelling, evaluation, or other human-in-the-loop data tooling.
Experience with RLHF, preference data, or other human-feedback pipelines for ML systems.
Experience shipping researcher-facing or other expert-facing internal tools people love: interviewing users, hunting down friction, measurably improving the experience.
Experience running experiments on data collection interfaces and using the results to improve data quality.
Experience working with crowdworker or expert vendor platforms at scale.
Familiarity with how LLMs are trained and evaluated.
Representative projects
Build an interface that lets a domain expert review a long agentic transcript, flag the step where things went wrong, and write a corrected continuation - with the result landing in a training-ready format.
Rework the sampling path between our feedback interfaces and model endpoints to cut time-to-first-sample for annotators.
Build a campaign launcher that lets a researcher stand up a new data collection effort (task, rubric, population, quality checks) without writing code.
Instrument annotator behaviour to detect low-effort or adversarial work and surface it to the quality team automatically.
Design the data model for a kind of feedback we haven't collected before, and ship the pipeline that gets it into the training mix.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$500,000
—
$850,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Our Seychelles business has operated since 2017 and now sits within the licensing regime established by the Virtual Asset Service Providers Act of Seychelles 2024 (the VASP Act). We are seeking an Independent Non-Executive Director, resident in Seychelles, to join the board of our Seychelles entity to supplement its board of governance with an independent resident non-executive director.
About the Role
As an Independent Non-Executive Director and Resident Director of our Seychelles entity, you will bring independent challenge to strategy, risk and conduct, hold management to account on behalf of shareholders and stakeholders, and provide the resident board presence that the licence and the entity's governance arrangements require. The role exists to do three things at once: provide independent challenge; satisfy the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (the FSA) that the board of the Company meets its expectations on composition, competence and fitness and propriety under the VASP Act; and provide local substance in Seychelles.
The entity operates within the group's global governance, risk and compliance framework while remaining separately accountable to its own board and to its regulator. The Board comprises a mix of executive and independent non-executive directors. This is a genuinely resident role. The appointee must be physically present in Seychelles, attend board and management meetings in person, and be available to engage with the FSA and the entity's advisers in Seychelles.
A non-executive director carries the same general legal responsibilities to the entity as any other director, and must perform those duties faithfully, efficiently and diligently to a standard commensurate with the role and with their own knowledge, skills and experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Independentally Challenge
Bring an external and independent perspective to strategy, risk and conduct, and hold management to account on behalf of shareholders and stakeholders.
Provide constructive challenge and strategic guidance, and offer specialist advice to the Board.
Scrutinise the performance of management and of individual executive directors against agreed goals, and monitor how that performance is reported.
Act in good faith, honestly and responsibly, and make decisions objectively in what you consider to be the interests of the entity.
Regulatory Standing & Local Substance
Satisfy the FSA that the board of the Company meets its expectations on composition, competence and fitness and propriety under the VASP Act.
Provide the physical, resident board presence in Seychelles that the licence and the entity's governance arrangements require.
Attend board and management meetings in person, and engage with the FSA and the entity's advisers in Seychelles as required.
Collective Board Responsibilities
Promote the long term sustainable success of the entity, generating value for shareholders and contributing to wider society.
Establish the entity's purpose, values and strategy, and satisfy the Board that its culture is aligned to them.
Provide effective, prudent and ethical oversight, act with integrity, lead by example and promote the desired culture.
Ensure the resources needed to meet the entity's objectives are in place, and measure performance against them.
Establish and lead within a framework of prudent and effective controls that allows risk to be assessed and managed.
Ensure effective engagement with shareholders and stakeholders.
Ensure workforce policies and practices are consistent with the entity's values.
Individual Director Responsibilities
Satisfy yourself on the integrity of the entity's financial information, its financial controls, and whether its risk management systems are robust and defensible.
Determine appropriate remuneration for executive directors, and play a leading part in appointing and, where necessary, removing them.
Contribute to the entity's succession planning.
Uphold the highest standards of integrity, and support the chairperson in setting the values, behaviours and culture of the boardroom and beyond.
Committee Service
Serve on one or more board committees where required. The relevant terms of reference will be provided on appointment.
What We Look for in You
Resident in Seychelles, and currently holding the right to reside and work there.
Able to satisfy the FSA's fitness and propriety assessment.
Board level or senior governance experience in a regulated financial services, banking, insurance, fiduciary or corporate services business.
Working knowledge of anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing obligations, and of the Seychelles regulatory environment.
Financial literacy sufficient to interrogate financial statements, controls and risk reporting without support.
Demonstrable independence of mind, and the willingness to challenge management and record dissent.
Fluent in English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
What Will Make You Stand Out
Experience of virtual assets, fintech, payments or capital markets.
Prior regulatory experience.
Experience chairing an audit, risk or compliance committee.
Experience of a group structure where much of the operating activity sits outside the licensed entity's jurisdiction, and of the oversight challenge that creates.
An established local network among Seychelles regulators, professional advisers and the financial services community.
