We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
*Open to hiring remote across the US — we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco, and Seattle

You will own the models, narratives, and analyses that inform the most important choices the business makes: how to allocate capital, where to grow, what metrics matters, in order to bring together different pieces of the puzzle to reveal the holistic story of our growth.
The ideal candidate brings analytical rigor and communication skills, paired with the intellectual curiosity and agility required to thrive in a company operating at the frontier of generative AI. You’ll work closing with our CFO and Head of FP&A, along with the functional leads of every department.

- Manage data analyses and key operating dashboards, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a coherent narrative across all reporting
- Build scalable infrastructure for KPI tracking, bridging product and revenue metrics to financial outcomes
- Support investor relations across reporting and market intelligence to inform financing strategy
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 4+ years of experience in a mix of investment banking, management consulting, or in-house corporate development/FP&A at a high-growth technology company
- Elite financial modeling skills with a rigorous quantitative approach to measuring operational success
- Strong comfort level with AI and flexibility in using AI tools to enhance your productivity
- Ability to navigate large amounts of data to define metrics and build dashboards
- Experience navigating strategic deals, fundraising, or partner/investor relations to support strategic decisions
- Experience preparing Board, executive, or investor-facing materials
- A genuine interest in AI and its implications for industry and society

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
Before you apply, we encourage you to explore our culture page https://www.kraken.com/culture to understand what drives us and how we work.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world’s longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a small, dedicated growth and experimentation team within Krak, focused on accelerating acquisition, activation, engagement and trading activity across the Krak app. This is a frontend-leaning full-stack role: the majority of your work will be in React Native, supported by enough backend capability to take an experiment from idea to live without waiting on another team.
Rather than executing against a rigid roadmap, you’ll work closely with Product on a continuous pipeline of fast, lightweight experiments, owning each one from hypothesis through implementation, launch, measurement and iteration. The mandate is simple: find the highest-leverage opportunities to grow users and revenue, prove what works, and scale the winners – with direct, measurable impact on how millions of customers discover and use Kraken’s products.
The opportunity
- Build and ship consumer-facing features quickly in React Native and TypeScript, favouring small, high-velocity experiments over long-running projects.
- Own experiments end-to-end – hypothesis, design, build, launch, measurement and iteration – using platforms such as Statsig to test globally or within specific markets.
- Improve onboarding, activation and feature discovery to drive conversion, engagement and trading revenue, iterating rapidly on features that are already live.
- Build viral acquisition features and value-add growth features on top of Krak’s existing product offering.
- Contribute to backend services and APIs wherever an experiment requires it, so you can ship across the stack without being blocked. Our backend is primarily Rust; prior Rust experience is not expected, but enthusiasm for picking it up is.
- Read your own results, including trade-offs between conversion gains and other metrics, and decide whether to scale, iterate or kill – driving technical decisions autonomously amid evolving priorities and limited upfront planning.
What you bring
- 6+ years of software development experience building and shipping large-scale, consumer-facing applications. Strong, hands-on React and React Native experience is essential.
- Demonstrated experience running growth experiments at consumer-facing businesses, with measurable impact on conversion, activation, retention or revenue. This is a consumer growth role, so B2B or platform-only backgrounds are not a fit.
- Working backend proficiency: you can design and implement services and APIs yourself. We care about backend fundamentals rather than any particular language, and you should be open to working in Rust.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals, with hands-on experience across APIs, WebSockets and real-time systems, mobile performance, testing, and modern development workflows.
- Practical experience designing, running and analysing A/B tests – feature flags, statistical significance, product analytics, funnel and cohort data – with the judgement to act decisively on what the results show.
- End-to-end ownership of product features and a strong product engineering mindset, with the initiative and adaptability to operate with minimal direction amid ambiguity and frequently changing priorities.
Nice to haves
- Customer-facing product experience within fintech, digital banking, payments, trading or crypto.
- Hands-on experience with Statsig or a comparable experimentation platform, including regional and global rollouts.
- Rust experience, given our backend stack.
- SQL and self-serve analytics, so you can pull and interrogate your own data.
- AI fluency. Familiarity with how AI tools and patterns have fundamentally shifted your development workflow and problem-solving approach.
- Native mobile development (iOS/Android), distributed systems or microservices, or engineering within a hyperscaling consumer technology organisation.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.

The Customer Experience team at 1Password designs digital-first experiences that help customers deploy, activate, and grow with confidence. Our goal is to create scalable programs that guide customers to the right next step at the right moment, improving product adoption, reducing friction, and supporting long-term customer outcomes.
As a Senior Digital Customer Success Campaign Manager, you will own and evolve our digital customer success programs across the customer lifecycle. You will design, build, and optimize targeted digital journeys that help customers move from onboarding through activation and beyond. This role blends program strategy, campaign execution, analytics, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable customer impact at scale.
This is an individual contributor role for someone who enjoys building programs from the ground up, working through ambiguity, and improving digital-first customer experiences in a fast-changing environment. Reporting into the Senior Manager, Digital Customer Success, this is a remote role within North America.
How we’re using AI today
Across GTM, we’re transforming the way we work with AI. We expect every seller, CSM, and team member to become a power user, using it daily to work smarter and move faster. AI is already embedded in how we operate – from real-time coaching that sharpens how we sell and interact with customers, to surfacing insights that help us anticipate needs – creating more time for meaningful customer engagement. If you’re excited to reshape how you think, make decisions, and drive growth with AI, you’ll feel right at home here.
Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.
What we're looking for:
- 6+ years of experience in Digital Customer Success, Customer Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Growth Operations, Customer Success Operations, Product-Led Growth, or a related Software as a Service environment.
- Demonstrated success building and owning lifecycle or digital success programs with measurable business impact.
- Experience creating scalable campaigns, workflows, or journeys rather than managing a book of business.
- Strong understanding of the customer lifecycle, including onboarding, activation, adoption, retention, expansion, renewal, and risk management motions.
- Ability to interpret customer and product signals, identify patterns, and translate them into clear campaign strategies and measurable interventions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create concise, effective messaging for different customer audiences and personas.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Gainsight, Salesforce, Marketo, Outreach, or similar customer success and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience collaborating across Customer Success, Product, Support, Operations, Marketing, Content, and Data teams to ensure alignment across the customer journey.
- Comfort working in changing environments where teams are building new programs, processes, and operating models from the ground up.
- Preferred: experience using Artificial Intelligence tools to support program design, experimentation, and campaign optimization; experience with 1Password and/or cybersecurity is also valued.
What you can expect:
- Design, launch, and improve digital customer success campaigns and programs across onboarding, activation, adoption, and growth stages.
- Build scalable customer journeys that help customers reach key milestones using content-led interventions and targeted human engagement when needed.
- Identify customer signals, behaviors, milestones, and friction points that indicate progress, risk, or opportunity across the lifecycle.
- Translate customer and product insights into triggered programs and campaigns that guide customers to the right next step using existing resources and tools.
- Draft, edit, and optimize customer-facing communications, including email campaigns, journey messaging, and supporting content.
- Monitor program performance using metrics such as activation, deployment, engagement, retention, expansion, churn, and content interaction to evaluate effectiveness.
- Use testing methods such as A/B testing, cohort analysis, and message iteration to improve campaign tone, timing, targeting, and outcomes.
- Partner with Data, Product, Customer Success Operations, Customer Experience Content, and Voice of Customer teams to align digital programs with customer insights and business priorities.
- Build dashboards and reporting to track program health, surface insights, and recommend improvements to digital-first customer experiences.
- Use Artificial Intelligence tools and emerging technologies to accelerate campaign creation, analysis, experimentation, and optimization.

Drive architecture and design discussions, offering thoughtful input and collaborating with peer engineers to identify trade-offs and make well-informed decisions
Take ownership of code in production, participate in on-call rotations, and help improve the reliability and maintainability of our systems over time.
Support teammates through thoughtful design reviews, knowledge sharing, and informal mentorship.
Qualifications:
7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping production-quality full-stack features.

Offering spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
Kraken Pro is where serious traders live. Millions of them. But a great product only wins if the right traders find it, trust it, and actually fund an account. Right now, our organic engine isn’t pulling its weight.
You’re going to fix that.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re seeking a hands-on Head of Organic Growth to own how Kraken Pro gets discovered and how curious traders become active ones. At Kraken, understanding our brand ethos, mission, and the traders we serve is essential. Organic is where brand and acquisition meet.
We’re looking for a player-coach who moves fast but thinks long-term, gets in the weeds while leading from the front, and knows that traffic means nothing if it doesn’t convert. This role demands sharp B2C acquisition instincts, a product-first mindset, an obsession with UX, and a self-starter attitude.
- Own organic acquisition. Build and run the strategy across SEO, content, social, community, referrals, and partnerships to bring high-intent traders to Kraken Pro.
- Find out if people convert. Map the funnel from first touch to first trade, report on it clearly, and figure out where traders drop off and how to win them back.
- Make UX your edge. Work with Product and Design to audit and improve landing pages, sign-up flows, onboarding, and in-product moments. Great acquisition dies in bad UX, and you know it.
- Acquire through brand. Make every growth channel a brand-building one. Reach is easy to buy; trust is what makes traders stay.
- Know the product cold. Use Kraken Pro like a trader would, understand what makes it better, and turn those strengths into growth levers.
- Lead a lean, scrappy team. Set direction, coach, and unblock a small team, while staying hands-on enough to ship, test, and fix things yourself.
- Test and learn. Run experiments across channels and funnel steps, double down on what works, and kill what doesn’t.
- Report what matters. Build clear dashboards and insights that show leadership what’s driving growth, what isn’t, and what to do next.
- Ship responsibly. Partner with Legal/Comms to ensure compliant, accurate, and aligned messaging across regions and platforms.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 5+ years in B2C acquisition or growth marketing, ideally in fintech, crypto, trading or gaming with experience in a player-coach role leading a small team.
- Product savvy. You understand how products work, why people use them, and how to turn features into growth.
- UX instinct. You can spot friction in a flow from a mile away and brief Product and Design on how to fix it.
- High AI competency. Enabling you to multiply your impact and keep up with demand.
- Analytical rigor. Comfortable with funnels, cohorts, attribution, and experimentation, and able to turn data into decisions and clear stories.
- Speed under pressure. Markets don’t wait for approval cycles and neither do you.
- Range as a marketer. SEO, content, social, lifecycle, partnerships. You know enough about each to direct the work, and you can roll up your sleeves when needed.
- Taste. Knowing which channels and tactics not to pursue is as valuable as knowing which to scale.
- Familiarity trading culture, and the language traders use.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams around a shared growth goal.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs are now one company. Together we build the data movement and transformation tools that data teams around the world rely on. Our Analytics team runs on those same tools every day, so you'll work on a modern data stack and help set best practices for the industry. As a Senior Product Analyst, you'll help product leaders understand how customers adopt, use, and stay with our core Fivetran data movement and dbt platform products as well as new product releases spanning AI, BI, and compute. You'll be a "full-stack" analyst. You'll build the data models, define the metrics, create the dashboards, run the analysis, and turn it all into recommendations that shape what we build next. AI is part of how we work. We expect analysts to use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate analysis and increase efficiency, while applying their own judgment and validating the results. This is a full-time, flexible hybrid position based in Oakland, CA. Our hybrid work model offers remote flexibility and in-person collaboration; there is no fixed number of required office days, and we encourage teams to meet in person regularly.
Why This Role Is Exciting
Two product portfolios just came together.
Many questions about how customers use Fivetran and dbt together have never been asked. You'll be one of the first people to answer them.
Your work drives leadership decisions.
You'll focus on adoption, engagement, and retention, the metrics product leaders use to decide where to invest.
You own the work end to end,
from raw data to the decision it informs.
You'll analyze products built for people like you.
Our customers are data teams.
Technologies You’ll Use
SQL (BigQuery / Snowflake)
dbt / dbt State
Looker / LookML / Omni
Hex / Sigma / Google Sheets
Claude Code / Codex
What You’ll Do
Partner with product managers and product line leaders to understand problems and potential solutions with data. Deliver regular analysis and insight on product adoption, engagement, and retention.
Proactively investigate trends in user behavior and product usage. Find issues and growth opportunities before anyone asks, and use them to shape product and growth strategy.
Define, measure, and monitor the KPIs that show whether our products are healthy and whether the company is on track.
Size the potential impact of new product initiatives and recommend how to prioritize them.
Analyze product launches and experiments, and recommend what to do next.
Find and reduce friction in the funnels users go through to sign up, activate, and adopt our products.
Tackle questions where product data meets broader business data, such as revenue, sales, and support.
Build and maintain the data models, metrics, and dashboards behind your work.
Help new hires, colleagues, and partners understand our data and use it well, so data-informed decisions become the norm.
Skills We’re Looking For
5+ years in analytics, mostly in product analytics, ideally at a high-growth B2B or SaaS company.
Advanced SQL. You can turn messy, raw data into clean, trustworthy datasets, and write, debug, and explain SQL yourself.
Comfort using AI tools in analytics workflows to explore data, draft or improve SQL, automate repetitive work, and synthesize findings. You can evaluate and validate AI-generated output.
Hands-on experience building data models, ideally with dbt, creating dashboards in a BI tool such as Looker, Omni, or Tableau, and performing funnel, cohort, and segmentation analysis.
A track record of using analysis to drive product or business decisions, not just report on them. You can take an open-ended question with little direction and turn it into a clear analysis and recommendation.
Strong attention to detail and prioritization. Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain findings to executives and technical tradeoffs to engineers.

Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
As part of 1Password’s Finance Analytics team, you’ll help build trusted financial data foundations and turn complex business data into clear insights for Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations (RevOps). You’ll work across annual recurring revenue (ARR), retention, billing, and subscription metrics while helping create Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled reporting workflows that make decision-making faster and more reliable. Your work will support 1Password’s mission to enable a safe, productive digital future without compromising security. Reporting into the Senior Manager, Financial Data Analytics, this role is remote within the United States and Canada.
How we’re using AI today
On the Finance team, we’re using AI to drive productivity, scale insight, and deliver better decision-making across 1Password. AI helps us move faster and sharpen our thinking, from summarizing context and pressure-testing assumptions to turning complex inputs into clear executive-level narratives. We bring AI into our work thoughtfully, improving repeatable workflows while staying accountable for the accuracy, confidentiality, and controls behind every output, creating space to focus on judgement, strategic partnership, and meaningful business outcomes.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
• Experience in analytics or a related data role, with proficiency in SQL, including joins, common table expressions (CTEs), window functions, and analysis of large datasets.
• Understanding of data modeling practices, including fact and dimension tables, star schemas, and related approaches to organizing reliable data.
• Ability to translate stakeholder questions into clear analytical deliverables, gather requirements, and improve dashboards based on feedback.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and careful attention to detail.
• Experience working with Finance, Sales, or Go To Market (GTM) data is a plus, especially in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment, with familiarity with metrics such as annual recurring revenue (ARR), retention, subscriptions, or customer cohorts.
• Experience with BI or AI tools such as Hex, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar platforms is a plus; exposure to dbt and enterprise data sources such as Salesforce, Stripe, or NetSuite is also valuable.
What you can expect:
• Build and iterate on interactive dashboards in Hex that help stakeholders explore financial and business performance.
• Translate business questions into self-serve reporting and actionable analysis across ARR, paying customer accounts, retention, subscriptions, and related metrics.
• Contribute to trusted data models that support new pricing approaches, product lines, and evolving business models.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and financial reporting cycles by investigating variances, identifying drivers, and explaining why results changed.
• Automate recurring manual and spreadsheet-based tasks using AI skills and workflows, helping teams spend more time on analysis and decision-making.
• Partner with Analytics Engineering to productionize reporting sources, improve data quality, and maintain clear metric definitions.
• Present your work to stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Data and Analytics teams.

How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission.
Preferable to have someone near an office in NYC or San Francisco, but open to hiring around the world for the right candidate.
Runway Creative is an all-in-one platform giving creators and businesses endless ways to generate and edit video, images, and audio. Our customers range from individual creators on self-serve plans to studios and enterprise marketing teams, and they generate with both Runway's own models and leading third-party models, all on one platform.
We're hiring a Pricing & Packaging Lead to own how Runway creates and captures value across all of it. You'll partner closely with our Self-Serve Product Lead to evolve our plans and credits, build the path from self-serve to enterprise, and set the pricing for every model we launch and every third-party model we serve. You'll build the pricing framework the rest of the company uses, and you'll be accountable for revenue growth, gross margin, and customer trust in equal measure.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own self-serve pricing & packaging: partner with the Self-Serve Product Lead on our plan ladder and credit design, including allowances, rollover, top-ups, annual vs. monthly, and regional pricing. Run a continuous program of pricing and packaging experiments with Growth and Data.
- Build the path to enterprise: design the triggers, team and workspace constructs, seat and credit-pool models, and commit and consumption contracts that move customers from self-serve to enterprise. Equip Sales with pricing playbooks, discount bands, and deal guardrails.
- Create a company-wide pricing framework: publish Runway's pricing principles, value metrics, and decision process so any product team can price new features and products with confidence. Run a regular pricing council with Product, Finance, Research, and GTM.
- Price our models: set launch pricing for every Runway model release, working with Research and Infrastructure on cost-to-serve. Define how model pricing evolves from launch through deprecation as inference costs change.
- Own third-party model economics: set credit pricing and target margins for the partner models we serve, monitor competitive pricing, and work with Partnerships on vendor terms. Make per-model margin visible to the whole company.
- Keep pricing changes trustworthy: own how we communicate every pricing change, from advance notice and in-product usage visibility to spend controls and customer FAQs. Changes should land as clearly as they were designed.
- Build the team: hire and lead a small pricing team over time, and partner closely with billing engineering to turn decisions into systems.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 10+ years across pricing, monetization, strategy, or strategic finance, with 5+ years directly owning pricing and packaging decisions. A track record of moving revenue, conversion, and margin, not just producing recommendations.
- Deep experience with usage, credit, or consumption-based pricing. You can build a cost-to-serve and margin model from compute and inference inputs, and you understand how hybrid seat + usage models behave in the wild.
- Experience across self-serve and sales-led motions. You've shipped pricing changes for PLG subscription products and designed the contracts and guardrails that support enterprise expansion.
- Rigorous and experimental. You're fluent in pricing experiments, willingness-to-pay research, and cohort analysis, and comfortable in SQL and financial models.
- You thrive in an environment with rapid pace and a high accountability culture. You make decisions with incomplete information and know when a pricing call needs more data and when it needs to ship.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. You can drive a decision across Product, Finance, Research, and Sales, and explain a pricing change to customers in a way that builds trust.
- Bonus: pricing experience at an AI lab, AI-native product, API or developer platform, or creative tools company; experience pricing third-party or marketplace offerings.
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.

About the Job:
We're looking for a senior security leader to run our Product Security team and partner to the Director of Security. In this role, you'll own how Security operates: a program led by risk rather than audit calendars, where engineering teams own their security health and Security informs, guides, and validates, where automation and AI take the first pass on every finding, and where posture is measured and published to executives every quarter. You'll build that model, starting with Product Security and extending across the division.
You'll bring a balance of people management, security judgment, and program leadership as you manage a team of security engineers, act as incident manager of record, hold delegated approval for vendor and access decisions, and run the division when the Director is in an audit, a board cycle, or on vacation. You'll work closely with every engineering team to make the secure path the easy one.
Responsibilities:
Manage the portfolio of your team's work, appropriately managing everyone's time and assigning them to the highest priority work.
Help your team and the engineering organization make sense of, and simplify, how security work gets done: who owns what, what is automated, and what Security stops doing.
Guide product engineering teams in owning their own security health: findings route to them with mapped severity, Security reviews and validates rather than fixes, and each team sees its security health in its own service review.
Own the wiring and routing of security findings and requests, driving down noise and the human-decision rate across intake, triage, and review.
Serve as incident manager of record for security incidents: first escalation for our service-level commitments, delegated approver for vendor and access decisions, and cover for the Director's operational duties.
Publish posture: monthly service-level attainment to engineering, quarterly posture to the executive team, and a risk register that drives priorities.
About You:
You have led a security team out of the gatekeeper model once already, and you can say what teams owned afterward, what Security stopped doing, and what the numbers did.
You think in risk, not control lists, and you would rather defend a priority call than a checklist.
You treat automation and AI as the first responder and yourself as the escalation path.
You have been the second leader to a director or CISO and know which decisions to make in their name.
You have run security incidents end to end, including the comms and the review afterward.
You were a strong Senior or Staff security engineer before you managed, and you can still read a PR, a threat model, or a cloud finding and make a call.
You track and drive metrics, and you understand what they can and can't tell you.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a formal security or engineering management role, including managing senior engineers.
Experience moving a security function from gatekeeper to team ownership, with measurable results.
Experience as incident manager for security incidents at a SaaS company, including external communication.
Experience guiding teams through technical tradeoffs and developing senior engineers' careers.
The ability to track and drive metrics, and the wisdom to understand what they can and can't tell you.
Familiarity with AWS security at scale and with external audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP) as a participant or control owner.
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A thoughtful, empathetic approach to leadership and collaboration.
