Senior Salesforce Developer

Location: Canada (BC & ON only) Workplace: Remote Webflow is the agentic web marketing platform for modern marketing teams, helping organizations build, manage, and optimize high-performing web experiences that drive predictable growth and strengthen brand trust. Building at Webflow will need grit, because we move fast, without ever sacrificing craft or quality. We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to help Webflow scale our go-to-market systems with quality, scalability, and strong governance. You’ll design and build the Salesforce, CPQ, and integration solutions that our Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance teams depend on every day. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and the broader Enterprise Technology team to turn business needs into clean, durable solutions. This role combines hands-on engineering excellence with the judgment to know what to build, what to simplify, and what not to build at all. You’ll help make our platform easier to use, easier to trust, and easier to extend. You’ll join a team of 5 architects, developers, and admins who own Webflow’s GTM systems end to end. We don’t have dedicated project managers, business analysts, or QA. Each of us runs our own projects from the first stakeholder conversation through requirements, design, build, testing, and rollout. We work as a community of practice. We share patterns, review each other’s work, and grow the craft together.   ABOUT THE ROLE: - Location: Remote-first (Canada) - Core working hours overlap with US Eastern / Pacific time - Full-time - Permanent - The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. The specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills. - Canada (figures cited below are in CAD and pertain to workers in ON & BC, Canada) - $116,600-$163,300   This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Target amounts are a percentage of base salary and vary by career level. Payouts are based on company performance against established financial and operational goals.   Please visit our Careers page https://webflow.com/careers#pay-zones for more information on which locations are included in each of our geographic pay zones. However, please confirm the zone for your specific location with your recruiter.   - Application Information: - Application deadline: applications accepted on an ongoing basis until position is closed and filled - This posting is for an existing vacancy - Reporting to Anna Duncanson   As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will: - Own the whole problem, not just the ticket. You’ll shape solutions from the first stakeholder conversation through launch, and bring your designs to a team that reviews, challenges, and builds on each other’s work. - Partner with RevOps, MarketingOps, LegalOps, Finance, and Pricing & Packaging leaders to turn business needs into clear designs, with options and tradeoffs that help them decide well. - Help own and evolve our Quote-to-Cash platform, from quoting and approvals through contracts and renewals, and help shape where Revenue Cloud Advanced fits. - Make the platform simpler. Reuse before you build, consolidate overlapping automation, and retire tools and packages we no longer need. - Design resilient integrations across the GTM tech stack, and chase data issues to their root cause even when they span several systems. - Build shared AI tooling that speeds up the whole team, from test generation to code review to metadata analysis. - Ship with care. Deploy your own changes through Gearset, build in monitoring, and fix production issues before users notice. - Raise the bar. Set the Apex, LWC, and security patterns others build on, give thoughtful reviews, and mentor developers and admins. - Help shape how we work, not just what we build. Take your turn as Scrum Master, run our ceremonies, and bring ideas that make the whole team faster and better.   ABOUT YOU: Requirements: - BS / BA college degree or relevant experience. - 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development in a complex Sales Cloud org. - Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certifications. - Strong Apex, SOQL, Flow, and LWC skills, and a clear sense of when to use each. - Deep understanding of the platform’s transaction model, including order of execution, synchronous and asynchronous processing, bulkification, and governor limits, plus experience tuning performance in large-data-volume orgs. - Strong grasp of Salesforce security in code, including CRUD, FLS, sharing, injection prevention, and named credentials. - Hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience. - Experience with source-driven delivery: SFDX, Git, pull request workflows, static analysis, automated testing, and rollback planning in a CI/CD tool such as Gearset or Copado. - Experience with event-driven patterns such as Platform Events and Change Data Capture. - Experience building and supporting integrations designed for failure, including retries, idempotency, error handling, and clear system-of-record boundaries. Preferred: - Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, and/or Platform App Builder certifications. - Experience with identity provisioning or data warehouse integrations. - Experience in a B2B SaaS environment   You’ll thrive as a Senior Salesforce Developer at Webflow if you: - Are comfortable wearing many hats. You’re as confident running a requirements session, managing a timeline, writing test plans, and handling a production issue as you are writing code. - Hold a high bar for quality. You write clean, well-tested, well-documented code, and you treat production with care. - Design for scale. You build for where Webflow is going, not just where it is today. - Value strong governance. Clear standards, peer review, and documented decisions matter to you, and you help others follow them. - Challenge assumptions, including your own. You ask why, test ideas with data, and change course when the evidence says you should. - Always look for a better way. You reflect on your work and keep improving your skills, our patterns, and our processes. - Find the root cause. You use logs, data, and testing to prove what’s wrong before you change anything. - Communicate clearly. You can explain a technical tradeoff to a sales leader and to another engineer. - Protect focus. You redirect out-of-scope asks into intake, prioritize by value and risk, and leave room for the unplanned. - Help create a team where everyone feels safe to ask questions, raise concerns, and admit mistakes. - Stay curious and open to growth — demonstrating a proactive embrace of AI, and actively building and applying fluency in emerging technologies to elevate how we work, drive faster outcomes, and expand collective impact. OUR CORE BEHAVIORS - Build lasting customer trust. We build trust by taking action that puts customer trust first. - Win together. We play to win, and we win as one team.
