Senior System Analyst (Grocery)

Location: Limassol, Cyprus Workplace: hybrid We are looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to join Storefront Core, the team building inDrive’s marketplace backend for grocery and restaurant partners. You will own the specifications that our AI pipeline turns into services, with people approving at defined gates. Key Responsibilities Turn partner and customer needs into traceable requirements and stories with Given/When/Then acceptance criteria and edge cases Model the system: state machines (cart, order, payment, refund), domain models, and sequence diagrams Define API contracts and event schemas (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI) and specify partner and payment integrations Specify failure and concurrency behaviour (retries, duplicates, timeouts), and NFRs with concrete numbers Shape service boundaries and data ownership with architects, recorded as ADRs Write specs as machine-readable inputs for AI agents and review their output against intent Work with QA and analytics on test scenarios, events, and KPIs Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 5+ years as a system analyst in e-commerce, marketplace, or grocery Strong requirements and modelling skills (UML/BPMN, state machines, domain models) Solid backend understanding: REST and event-driven systems, API design, idempotency, eventual consistency Confident SQL to verify data yourself Hands-on experience with AI assistants and awareness of their failure modes Clear written English and comfort challenging stakeholders with evidence Nice to have Partner integrations and payments (PCI DSS) Spec-driven or AI-assisted development: prompts, evals, agent instructions Why join us Help us challenge injustice by creating fair choices for millions of people across 47 countries Develop your professional skills with access to mentoring, career consulting, and learning programs Collaborate with teams around the world and gain international experience through our Global Talent Exchange Program Engage in company-wide challenges, awards, sports activities, employee-led social impact and volunteering projects Work alongside people who take initiative, speak openly, and challenge themselves to grow Improve your language skills through co-financed courses and internal speaking clubs Annual salary from 70700 EUR gross Final benefits may vary depending on the location.
