About the Role As a Technical Deployment Lead on the Claude Agentic Solutions team, you will lead the delivery of custom AI agent solutions for enterprise customers in highly regulated industries. You will own high-value engagements collaborating directly with customers to build and deploy agents into critical business processes. This founding team role involves building technical playbooks and defining scalable processes. You will ensure world-class delivery, provide insights to product and research teams, and manage engagements end-to-end from SOW through production deployment. You will work alongside Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), owning product scoping, stakeholder management, value measurement, and organizational complexity. You need to be technical enough for architecture discussions and polished enough for executive briefings with C-suite sponsors. Responsibilities: — Own the technical delivery plan for each engagement. — Structure SOWs with clear scope, milestones, dependencies, success criteria, and value hypotheses. — Translate customer business objectives into a sequenced roadmap executed by FDEs. — Lead technical discovery: map workflows, identify constraints, define MVP scope, and shape solution architecture. — Run day-to-day engineering execution and drive delivery across Anthropic and customer teams. — Keep progress unblocked and sequenced, making real-time trade-offs on scope and priority. — Own product scoping: define MVP, author requirements, prioritize backlog, and manage scope. — Own customer relationships: lead executive briefings, manage communications, and represent technical credibility. — Own value measurement and ROI: define impact hypotheses, set KPIs, run pre- and post-deployment measurements. — Codify reusable delivery assets: build solution patterns, evaluation frameworks, and playbooks. — Navigate enterprise and regulatory complexity including security reviews, legal approvals, procurement, compliance, and organizational dynamics. — Manage scope and change: handle evolving requirements, negotiate contract modifications, identify risks, and escalate as needed. — Run delivery operations: sprint ceremonies, milestone reviews, progress reporting. — Travel to customer sites (25–50% expected) to build relationships, unblock delivery, and accelerate adoption. Requirements: — Experience leading AI/ML engagements or deployments in roles such as founder, data scientist, engineer, researcher, or consulting. — Delivered AI, ML, or LLM-based agentic solutions into production. — Understanding of solution patterns, integration approaches, and real-world failure modes. — Experience in specialized verticals like financial services, life sciences, pharmaceutical, retail, mining, agriculture, etc. — Ability to lead architecture discussions, evaluate trade-offs, and pressure-test technical decisions. — Ownership of technical direction alongside FDEs without writing production code. — Proven track record delivering complex, high-stakes technical projects for enterprise clients with tight coordination and fast decision-making, ideally in regulated industries. — Executive presence: polished, credible, comfortable representing the company to senior leaders. — Ability to thrive in ambiguity and bring structure. — Builder's mindset: focused on creating functions, not just joining them. Conditions: — Annual salary range: $275,000 - $380,000 USD. — Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. — Location-based hybrid policy: expected to be in office at least 25% of the time; some roles may require more. — Visa sponsorship available with immigration lawyer support, though not guaranteed for every role or candidate.
