About the Role
We are looking for a Distinguished Engineer to lead technical direction across GitLab's Core DevOps services, the systems the majority of our users touch every day. Distinguished Engineers are recognized experts across multiple technology domains and represent the most senior level of technical leadership within and across divisions at the company.
Core DevOps builds continuous Integration, continuous deployment, planning, and source control experiences. These are among the most mature, highest traffic, and most deeply interconnected systems at GitLab. They carry years of accumulated architectural decisions, they sit in the critical path of our customers' own delivery pipelines, and they are being reshaped by the shift toward AI native development. The job is to raise their quality, converge them onto a coherent go-forward architecture, and retire accumulated risk, all without interrupting the millions of users and Fortune 100 organizations who depend on them.
GitLab is pursuing a set of company-wide engineering goals: large gains in developer productivity, measurably higher quality in what we ship, and engineering practices reshaped around AI and agentic workflows. Core DevOps is where much of that strategy has to land, because these are the services our own engineers and our customers depend on daily. In this role you will bring that strategy into Core DevOps in a form that works for long lived production systems, and carry what you learn here back out to the rest of engineering.
What You'll Do
Set and continuously refine the go forward technical direction for CI, CD, Plan, and source code experiences, aligned against the horizontal architectural initiatives.
Work directly with the VP of Engineering as her technical counterpart on planning, technical investment, and where the group's engineering effort should go.
Translate GitLab's company-wide productivity, quality, and AI native engineering goals into concrete technical direction for Core DevOps, and turn into iterable roadmaps, partnering broadly across the org.
Define what good means in measurable terms for these services, including availability, latency at p95 and p99, pipeline success rate, test reliability, data correctness, and defect escape rate, then hold designs and implementations to it.
Maintain a clear and current picture of systemic technical risk across the group, including single points of failure, unowned critical paths, brittle coupling between CI/CD and Plan, scaling limits, and past decisions that now constrain the roadmap. Drive a prioritized plan to retire it.
Lead the hardest design decisions hands on, writing code, prototypes, and proofs of concept where a design argument needs evidence behind it.
Drive convergence on shared patterns, libraries, and paved paths, reducing how many different ways the same problem gets solved across the group.
Design migration paths that let large, long lived systems change underneath users without breaking them, using incremental cutover, dual run, measurable rollback, and deprecation with clear timelines.
Adopt the platform capabilities coming from GitLab's AI organization and the company's productivity initiatives into Core DevOps, feed this group's requirements back into them, and help prove what works on systems of this scale and maturity.
Serve as the escalation point for complex or contested technical decisions across the group, including those where no single team owns the outcome.
Review significant designs and merge requests in the group's critical paths, and use review to teach rather than only to gate.
Ensure designs hold across GitLab.com, GitLab Dedicated, and Self-Managed deployments, and respect multi-tenant, compliance, and data governance boundaries in each.
Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and SRE so Core DevOps services are observable and debuggable, and so failure modes degrade gracefully instead of cascading.
Make architectural constraints and opportunities clear to Product in roadmap terms, so that technical investment and product ambition get planned together instead of traded off late.
Write clear, opinionated design documents, architecture narratives, and decision records that let teams across the group make aligned decisions independently.
Grow Principal and Staff Engineers across Core DevOps, raise the bar on design rigor and technical writing, and contribute to the technical hiring bar for senior individual contributors.
Participate in the Incident Management on-call rotation to help meet availability goals for GitLab.com, and complete Interview Training to participate in hiring as a technical interviewer or panel member.
What You'll Bring
10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a Staff, Principal, or equivalent senior technical leadership role.
Deep expertise in AI and ML systems, including large language models, agentic frameworks, and autonomous workflow design at production scale.
Proven track record of leading hands-on technical experimentation, including defining evaluation frameworks, running benchmarks, and translating findings into scalable architecture decisions.
Strong background in scalable, multi-tenant distributed systems, including service decomposition, fault tolerance, observability, and operational resilience.
Experience designing and implementing human-in-the-loop controls, safety guardrails, and responsible AI practices for production systems.
Experience mentoring senior engineers and influencing technical direction across multiple teams or divisions without direct authority.
Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, globally distributed organization with excellent written and asynchronous communication skills.

inDrive is seeking a Head of Loyalty Product to own inDrive’s Loyalty product domain end-to-end, reporting to the Director of SuperApp and Growth Businesses Product. The core challenge is to build a loyalty proposition that customers genuinely value and that measurably changes behavior. That means increasing frequency, retention, cross-service engagement, and customer lifetime value while maintaining sustainable economics.
This is not a role focused on running a rewards feature or promotional calendar. You’ll own Loyalty as a product domain and lead execution across multiple teams and markets. This happens in a highly cross-functional environment where many of the capabilities required to deliver the Loyalty experience sit outside your direct team.
Key Responsibilities
Own Loyalty product strategy and roadmap.
Define and continuously evolve the product strategy and roadmap for Loyalty across inDrive. Identify where loyalty can create the greatest customer and business value, translate those opportunities into clear product priorities, and own the resulting product outcomes.
Build the customer proposition.
Design loyalty experiences and mechanics that customers understand, value, and actively engage with. Own the end-to-end customer journey - from discovery and enrollment through earning, benefits, redemption, progress, and ongoing engagement.
Drive measurable changes in customer behavior.
Build products that improve frequency, retention, engagement, and customer lifetime value. Establish clear hypotheses and success criteria and distinguish incremental behavior from activity that would have happened anyway.
Connect product decisions to economics.
Partner closely with Business and Analytics to understand the economics behind the product. Make informed trade-offs between customer value, engagement, cost, and long-term impact rather than optimizing individual product metrics in isolation.
Build for an ecosystem.
Develop loyalty experiences and capabilities that can work across multiple inDrive services, customer journeys, and markets. Balance reusable, scalable product capabilities with meaningful differences in local customer behavior and market economics.
Lead experimentation.
Build a rigorous experimentation approach around loyalty propositions, rewards, incentives, and customer experiences. Use behavioral data, segmentation, and personalization to continuously improve what value is offered, to whom, and when.
Drive cross-functional execution.
Work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, CRM, and product teams across inDrive. Identify and manage critical dependencies, create alignment around priorities and requirements, and drive the cross-team execution needed to deliver the overall Loyalty product outcome.
Build and lead the product team.
Build, lead, and develop the Loyalty product team. Set a high bar for product discovery, prioritization, experimentation, execution, and accountability, and create an environment where strong product talent can grow.
Build a strong measurement system.
Establish the measurement framework for Loyalty together with Analytics, combining experimentation, customer insights, and business performance to determine what should scale, evolve, or stop.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Loyalty, membership, subscription, or engagement product depth.
You’ve built and scaled meaningful consumer loyalty, membership, subscription, rewards, or adjacent engagement products - not simply managed promotional campaigns.
Strong consumer product background.
You’ve built products in a scaled consumer technology environment such as mobility, delivery, marketplaces, e-commerce, travel, fintech, or another high-frequency digital category.
End-to-end product ownership.
You’ve owned a meaningful product area from strategy and discovery through execution, experimentation, and measurable customer and business outcomes.
Behavior-change mindset.
You understand how product mechanics, incentives, benefits, status, rewards, and customer experience influence behavior - and know how to distinguish genuine incremental impact from correlation.
Strong commercial judgment.
You can move fluently between customer experience and economics, understand unit economics and LTV, and make thoughtful trade-offs between growth, customer value, and cost.
Experimentation depth.
You have strong experience with controlled experimentation, segmentation, and behavioral data and use evidence to make product investment and prioritization decisions.
Cross-product thinking.
You’ve worked on products that span multiple customer journeys, business lines, or product teams and can create alignment and drive execution without relying solely on direct organizational authority.
Multi-market experience.
You’ve built or scaled consumer products across multiple countries or regions and understand how customer behavior, willingness to pay, incentives, and economics can differ across markets.
0-to-1 builder who can also scale.
You’re comfortable starting with ambiguity, shaping a proposition, validating it with customers and data, and then turning what works into scalable product capabilities.
Product leadership.
You’ve led and developed product managers, can set a strong product bar, and are comfortable working with senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Business, Finance, Marketing, and other functions.
Will be an advantage
Experience building loyalty or membership products for a multi-service consumer ecosystem or super app.
Experience with paid membership or subscription products.
Experience with rewards, cashback, wallet, payments, or incentive systems.
Experience with personalization, recommendations, CRM, or lifecycle decisioning.
Marketplace or two-sided platform experience.
Experience in high-growth emerging markets across LATAM, Central Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, or Africa.
Experience taking a loyalty or membership proposition from initial launch to multi-market scale.

We are looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to act as an independent execution and problem-solving partner to the business leadership team. This is not a traditional PMO role. The mandate is broader: create transparency, challenge performance, solve cross-functional problems, and make sure our most important initiatives actually get delivered.
You will work horizontally across Product, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and other functions, with visibility across the full portfolio of strategic initiatives. Your job is simple to describe but difficult to execute: know what matters, know what is happening, identify what is not working, and drive it to resolution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own strategic execution
Maintain an end-to-end view of the business's most critical initiatives and their performance.
Translate strategic priorities into clear projects, milestones, owners, KPIs, and deadlines.
Drive high-priority projects directly when dedicated ownership is missing or additional execution power is required.
Ensure commitments turn into measurable outcomes-not just meetings, updates, and presentations.
Step into stalled or ambiguous initiatives and drive them back to execution.
2. Act as an independent performance partner
Build a fact-based view of whether projects, teams, and initiatives are delivering against expectations.
Challenge assumptions, timelines, priorities, and reported progress when necessary.
Identify gaps between reported status and actual business impact.
Diagnose underperformance and distinguish between strategy, execution, ownership, resource, and capability problems.
Escalate material risks early and ensure corrective actions are defined and executed.
3. Solve cross-functional problems
Step into the "messy middle" between functions where ownership is unclear and execution gets stuck.
Structure ambiguous problems quickly and turn them into actionable decisions.
Align Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, Commercial, and other stakeholders around a single execution path.
Identify blockers, resolve dependencies, and drive decisions with pace.
Act as a neutral partner focused on the overall business outcome rather than the interests of an individual function.
4. Build execution discipline
Establish a lightweight but rigorous operating rhythm for strategic initiatives.
Create a single source of truth for priorities, status, decisions, risks, and dependencies.
Ensure every critical initiative has clear ownership, measurable outcomes, and transparent progress.
Run project and portfolio reviews focused on decisions and actions rather than status reporting.
Continuously improve how the organisation manages projects and executes strategic priorities.
5. Support strategic decision-making
Turn complex operational and performance data into clear management insights.
Build business cases and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis for major strategic decisions.
Evaluate new opportunities, growth bets, and operating-model improvements.
Prepare concise, decision-oriented materials for senior leadership.
Connect strategy with execution: understand not only what we should do, but whether and how the organisation can actually deliver it.
What success looks like
Success in this role is not measured by the number of projects tracked or meetings facilitated. It is measured by:
Transparency - leadership always knows the real status of critical priorities.
Accountability - every important outcome has an owner, deadline, and measurable result.
Speed - blockers and unresolved decisions do not remain unresolved for weeks.
Execution quality - strategic initiatives move from discussion to implementation.
Business impact - the portfolio delivers measurable improvements in growth, efficiency, quality, or scalability.
Qualifications
You should be:
Extremely structured and comfortable bringing order to ambiguity.
Strong in project and program management, with the ability to lead multiple critical initiatives simultaneously.
Highly analytical and able to independently challenge numbers, assumptions, and conclusions.
Comfortable working directly with senior leaders and holding stakeholders accountable.
Able to influence without formal authority.
Pragmatic and execution-oriented-you naturally move from discussion to decision to action.
Comfortable entering unfamiliar areas, learning quickly, and solving problems independently.
Strong at communicating complex topics simply and concisely.
Naturally curious and persistent: when something does not make sense, you keep digging until it does.
The ideal candidate does not simply track the business. They help the business execute better.

Help us challenge injustice by creating fair choices for millions of people across 47 countries.
Develop your professional skills with access to mentoring, career consulting, and learning programs.
Collaborate with teams around the world and gain international experience through our Global Talent Exchange Program.
Engage in company-wide challenges, awards, sports activities, employee-led social impact and volunteering projects.
Work alongside people who take initiative, speak openly, and challenge themselves to grow.
Improve your language skills through co-financed courses and internal speaking clubs.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp is looking for ambitious generalists who want to turn difficult customer and business problems into better products and better ways of working.
In Product Operations, you will own a problem space from investigation through execution and measurement. You might uncover why customers abandon a workflow, build an AI tool that removes hours of manual work, or help a product team bring a new capability to customers. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and customer-facing teams, combining analytical rigor with the willingness to do the work yourself.
This role is designed for people who want substantial responsibility. You will build customer understanding, product judgment, technical fluency, and the ability to lead across teams. Strong performance can create opportunities for broader ownership in Product Operations, Product Management, Business Operations, or AI Operations, depending on your strengths and Ramp’s needs. Growth comes from sustained impact, demonstrated readiness, and available opportunities.
*Please note that this Product Operations role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at our NYC HQ (located near Madison Square Park) at least 2 days/week*
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Ramp moves incredibly fast, and our specific Product Operations needs change regularly. Each Product Operations team member is assigned to a specific product, such as Bill Pay, Procurement, or Travel. Ramp moves incredibly fast, and our specific Product Operations needs change regularly. During the hiring process, we will discuss which product areas are hiring priorities and where you could make the greatest impact.
- Own customer and operational outcomes. Take responsibility for a defined problem, establish a baseline, and follow through until the experience improves.
- Find the underlying problem. Combine customer conversations, operational observations, and data to distinguish recurring causes from isolated symptoms.
- Make clear recommendations. Use your product sense and business acumen to size opportunities, compare tradeoffs, and help product partners decide where a process change, automation, or product investment will have the greatest effect.
- Build and improve workflows. Create practical tools and automations, including AI-assisted solutions, that reduce repetitive work and improve reliability. Validate outputs and measure whether people actually benefit.
- Bring changes into use with empathy. Own operational readiness, internal enablement, feedback collection, and follow-through after a launch or workflow change.
- Lead across teams. Define metrics, establish owners, resolve dependencies, communicate decisions, and keep important work moving when the path is unclear.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2-6 years experience in banking, private equity, consulting, or in product management or business operations roles at a demanding startup. Level and compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
- A record of taking personal ownership and delivering outcomes beyond the initial analysis or recommendation.
- Strong quantitative reasoning: you can work with messy data, check assumptions, and translate findings into a decision.
- Customer curiosity and practical judgment about which problems matter most and how to solve them. Willingness and instincts to go talk to a customer when something is unclear. Ability to prioritize well and work on the most important problems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to earn trust for your arguments across technical and business teams.
- Resourcefulness, receptiveness to feedback, and evidence that you learn unfamiliar subjects quickly.
- Experience using AI tools to build something or improve a workflow, with a thoughtful approach to checking quality.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience building internal tools, using APIs or low-code platforms,
- Working with financial products, shipping software with AI assistance,
- Owning a launch can help you get started.
- We value the difficulty of the problems you have solved and the results you can explain.

We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
About the role
We are looking for a versatile corporate and regulatory lawyer to join Cohere’s Legal team. Reporting to our Senior Governance Counsel, this role will support a global portfolio of corporate governance, entity and intercompany matters, together with cross-border regulatory, trade and compliance workstreams.
This role is designed for a lawyer with a strong corporate foundation who has also developed meaningful regulatory and trade experience. You should be comfortable moving between different types of legal work including:
- supporting global corporate governance and entity matters, including subsidiary governance, entity establishment and restructuring, intercompany arrangements and delegated authorities;
- supporting cross-border regulatory workstreams, including foreign investment and national-security reviews, regulatory diligence and filing coordination;
- helping the business navigate export-control, sanctions and related compliance requirements; and
- supporting legal and regulatory issues arising from public-sector and regulated-market opportunities, particularly where sovereignty, procurement, security or other market-access requirements come into play.
You will work closely with colleagues across Legal, Finance, Tax, People, Security, Government Affairs and commercial teams, as well as with specialist external counsel in multiple jurisdictions. The role requires sound judgment, curiosity and the ability to take ownership of a workstream, identify when specialist advice is needed, and turn that advice into practical action.
What you’ll do
- Support Cohere’s global corporate governance and entity matters, including subsidiary governance, entity establishment and restructuring, board and shareholder matters, corporate approvals, delegated authorities, signing frameworks and ongoing entity maintenance.
- Support Cohere’s intercompany legal architecture, including intercompany agreements and other cross-border operating arrangements, working closely with Finance, Tax, People and local counsel to ensure Cohere’s entities are structured and operated appropriately across jurisdictions.
- Support cross-border regulatory workstreams, including foreign investment screening, national-security reviews, regulatory diligence, filing coordination and the implementation of regulatory commitments arising in connection with acquisitions, investments, restructurings and other significant matters.
- Support Cohere’s export-control, sanctions and related compliance matters, including coordinating specialist external advice and translating regulatory requirements into practical internal guidance, controls and documentation.
- Support legal and regulatory workstreams arising from public-sector and regulated-market opportunities, particularly where sovereignty, procurement, security or other market-access requirements need to be understood and operationalised.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders and external counsel across jurisdictions, ensuring that legal and regulatory workstreams are appropriately scoped, progressed and implemented.
- Take ownership of matters within the role’s remit and help develop practical, scalable approaches as Cohere’s international footprint grows.
What we’re looking for
- A qualified lawyer with approximately 4–8 years of relevant experience, gained at a leading law firm, a sophisticated in-house legal team, or preferably a combination of both.
- A strong corporate and cross-border legal foundation, with experience across areas such as subsidiary governance, entity structuring and reorganisations, intercompany arrangements, delegated authorities, corporate approvals and other aspects of international corporate practice.
- Meaningful exposure to cross-border regulatory matters, particularly foreign investment screening, national-security reviews, export controls, sanctions, international trade or related corporate compliance issues. Deep specialism in any one of these areas is not required.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions, including coordinating local and specialist external counsel and bringing different legal, regulatory and business inputs together into a coherent internal position.
- Strong judgment, range and commercial awareness, with the ability to get quickly up to speed on unfamiliar issues, identify what matters most and distinguish issues that can be handled internally from those requiring specialist advice.
- The ability to take ownership of an internal legal workstream, ask the right questions of specialist counsel, digest complex advice and translate it into clear, practical next steps for the business.
- Clear and practical communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Tax, People, Security, Government Affairs and commercial teams.
- A collaborative and pragmatic approach, with comfort moving between different subject areas and working across functions, jurisdictions and time zones.
- Experience in technology, AI or another regulated industry would be helpful, but is not essential.
- Exposure to public-sector, government-facing or regulated-market matters is a plus but is not a prerequisite.
Nice to have
- Experience in technology, AI, cloud or infrastructure, or another regulated industry.
- Experience supporting a multinational organisation with a growing international entity footprint, particularly where legal, tax, finance and operational considerations intersect.
- Exposure to public-sector, government-facing or regulated-market matters, including procurement, digital sovereignty, security, accreditation or related market-access requirements.
- Familiarity with North American, UK or EU regulatory frameworks relevant to cross-border technology businesses.
What success looks like
- You can move comfortably between corporate and regulatory matters, identify the core issue quickly and make progress even where the work does not fit neatly into a single legal category.
- You can take ownership of a complex cross-border workstream, bring together the right internal stakeholders and external advisers, and drive it through to a practical outcome.
- You know when specialist advice is needed, can frame the right questions for external counsel, and can turn complex advice into clear, actionable guidance for the business.
- You become a trusted execution partner across Cohere’s corporate governance and regulatory portfolio, taking meaningful ownership of workstreams and creating capacity for more strategic, cross-functional and government-facing work at the senior level.
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS:

- Build strong working relationships across Compliance, Legal, Risk, Product, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Technology and regional teams to align delivery and resolve dependencies.
- Maintain clear governance over engagement risks, issues, decisions, action plans and remediation, escalating material matters to the Head of Compliance Strategy and relevant governance forums.
- Produce concise and decision-useful updates for Compliance leadership, senior management and governance committees, including themes, trends, risks, commitments and delivery status.
- Partner with relevant second-line teams to ensure external engagement activity is consistent with the Compliance framework, risk appetite, regulatory obligations and the responsibilities of the three lines of defence.
- Coach, develop and set clear expectations for Senior Analyst(s).
- Create and implement a high-quality, scalable and collaborative partner-engagement framework.
- Identify opportunities to use better data, tooling, workflow design and documentation to improve response quality, reduce duplication and increase the resilience of the Compliance operating model.
- Represent Compliance Strategy in cross-functional strategic initiatives and take on other priorities that support long-term capability maturation.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Typically 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within compliance, regulatory compliance, risk, audit, legal or a related function in payments, fintech, banking or another regulated financial-services environment.
- Demonstrable experience leading external partner, banking, scheme, audit, regulatory or due-diligence engagements.
- Experience translating regulatory or partner expectations into practical requirements, delivery plans, governance and measurable improvements.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional workstreams with multiple stakeholders, dependencies and deadlines.
- Experience coaching or managing people, setting priorities, giving feedback and creating clarity in a fast-moving environment.

- Working knowledge of relevant compliance domains such as AML/CTF, sanctions, KYC/CDD/EDD, licensing, safeguarding, operational resilience, regulatory change or control assurance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to present complex issues, defend recommendations and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong judgement and the confidence to challenge constructively, distinguish material from non-material issues and escalate appropriately.
- Strong organisational, analytical and project-management skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality outcomes under pressure.
- ICA, ACAMS or another relevant professional qualification is desirable.

With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced IT Engineer II to join Checkout’s IT Engineering team, supporting Workplace Technology. In this generalist role, you will work across the services and platforms managed by the team, helping colleagues get the technology they need while keeping those services secure, reliable, and easy to use.
You will contribute across areas such as identity and access, end-user devices, collaboration and productivity platforms, IT assets and licences, and office technology. You are not expected to be a subject matter expert in every product. Instead, you bring strong technical foundations, depth in one or more areas, and the curiosity to build working knowledge across the wider portfolio.
At this level, you can confidently resolve all but the most complex problems affecting the team. You will own operational outcomes, deliver small-to-medium projects independently, and work with colleagues and stakeholders to improve the services we provide across Checkout.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Cross-Portfolio Service Ownership: Administer and improve services across the Workplace Technology portfolio. This may include Okta, Google Workspace, Atlassian, macOS and Windows endpoint management through tools such as Jamf and Microsoft Intune, IT asset and licence processes, and office technology.
- Identity and Access: Support secure identity lifecycle and access management, including joiner, mover, and leaver activities, single sign-on, group and role administration, and least-privilege access.
- End-User Technology: Help manage and support company endpoints and workplace services. Apply approved configurations and security controls, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to a consistent employee experience across platforms.
- Platform Administration: Configure and maintain team-managed applications and services. Learn unfamiliar platforms quickly, follow established governance, and identify when a change needs specialist or security review.
- Operational Excellence: Provide dependable operational support, maintain clear documentation and runbooks, and help the team improve service quality, reliability, and supportability.
- Incident and Change Management: Own incidents through the full lifecycle, from triage, prioritisation, and stakeholder communication through safe service restoration, root-cause analysis, and follow-up actions. Maintain accurate incident records, capture decisions and remediation, and document recurring issues and operational procedures in clear, current runbooks and knowledge articles. Plan and implement changes safely, with appropriate testing, approvals, and rollback plans.
- Project Delivery: Plan and deliver small-to-medium technical projects, coordinating with stakeholders and other teams to manage dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
- Automation and Improvement: Identify repeatable manual work and service friction. Propose or build appropriately controlled automation and simpler workflows to reduce toil and improve consistency.
- Asset and Licence Management: Support accurate technology inventory, licence administration, and lifecycle processes, helping the team make effective and responsible use of its tools and equipment.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share learning across the team, contribute to onboarding and operational guidance, and support colleagues as they develop their technical skills.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience: Typically 2-3+ years in IT engineering, workplace technology, systems administration, or a similar technical role.
- Technical Breadth: Practical experience supporting or administering a range of workplace technology services. You have a strong foundation in at least one relevant area and are motivated to build capability across others.
- Relevant Platforms: Experience with some of the following is useful: identity and access management (for example, Okta and SSO); Google Workspace; Atlassian products; macOS or Windows endpoint management (for example, Jamf or Microsoft Intune); SaaS administration; IT asset or licence management; or office technology. You do not need experience with every product listed.
- Security Mindset: Understand the importance of least privilege, secure configuration, data protection, auditability, and careful change management. You know when to escalate a risk or seek specialist guidance.
- Problem Solving: Take a logical, evidence-led approach to troubleshooting. Explain technical options and trade-offs clearly, and distinguish between immediate mitigation and long-term resolution.
- Ownership: Take responsibility for work from investigation through resolution and follow-up. Care about the long-term health of the services you support, not only closing individual requests.
- Communication: Work effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and technical teams. Translate technical detail into clear updates and provide helpful, user-focused support.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working across a varied technology estate, learning new tools, and balancing planned delivery with operational priorities in a changing environment.
- Teamwork: Share knowledge, ask for help when needed, and contribute positively to a team that works across multiple technical domains.

Location: London, United Kingdom - Deliveroo
Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation and growth drive everything we do. Our Product team defines how millions of people experience Deliveroo, turning complex marketplace challenges into simple, high-impact solutions. Working at the intersection of data, design and engineering, we set direction, prioritise what matters most, and deliver outcomes that move the business forward.
We're looking for a
Staff Conversation Designer
to join in London and set the design direction for AI-powered support across Deliveroo, DoorDash and Wolt. You'll bring a strong AI fluency, technical practice, and editorial point of view to build and shape conversations powered by our LLM models: deciding what a conversation needs to say, what to leave out and how to make each exchange clear, useful, and worthy of people's trust.
You'll shape the personality, voice, tone and experience principles that express our brands, local language and support philosophy. You will craft conversation specs, prompts, and evals, annotate data, and co-build the tools and harness that drives our experience. Success means fewer avoidable problems, better resolutions when help is needed, and stronger design practices that help teams deliver those outcomes consistently.
What You’ll Be Doing
Set support conversation strategy
across support journeys, connecting what people need in the moment, what the business can promise, and what operations can actually do. Influence roadmaps with Product, Engineering and Operations, deciding where to invest, what to sequence first and how to balance quality, speed and impact.
Design and maintain conversation flows
. Lead proactive guidance, chat and voice experiences from definition through launch, anticipating needs to prevent or resolve problems before people ask for help. Create and maintain multi-turn conversation specs covering context, interruptions, changing intent, clarification, error recovery, fallback paths and human handoffs without repetition.
Prototype new conversational experiences
. Invent and test new conversational patterns, interaction paradigms, personas, and support experiences. Use LLMs and code to explore how people could ask for help, act on options and move between chat, voice and other interfaces. Work with Engineering to shape the information, actions, and human judgement these experiences need, using working prototypes and user feedback to decide what to pursue.
Shape voice, tone and behaviour
. Set the editorial direction for support conversations across brands, markets and modalities. Write and iterate on system prompts and persona definitions that express this direction through model behaviour. Make deliberate choices about wording, pacing and tone, adapting to local voices, policies and access needs while keeping conversations useful and promises accurate.
Build evaluation datasets and testing plans
. Establish how teams evaluate conversation quality before and after launch. Create evaluation datasets, testing plans and scoring rubrics to test conversation flows and model behaviour. Define annotation guidelines and annotate conversations for evaluation and model training, calibrating judgments so teams assess quality consistently. Combine these evaluations with research, performance data and reviews of hundreds of transcripts to improve accuracy, resolution quality and customer effort, and influence what the team prioritises.
Design conversational safeguards
. Identify conversational risks and define, implement and test guardrails. Address hallucinations, harmful or biased responses, and requests outside the service’s scope. Define how conversations protect sensitive information, stay within the system’s authority to act, and acknowledge uncertainty or seek human judgement.
Raise conversation design capability
. Help the wider Studio develop technical fluency and conversational judgement through mentorship, education and shared tools. Build reusable prompt guidance, evaluation tools and working practices with design and cross-functional peers, and lead their adoption across teams to improve conversation quality and inform product priorities.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Work samples
. Work samples showing strong editorial and conversational judgement, whether through conversational systems, content programmes or shipped products. Show your personal contribution, the direction you set, alternatives you explored and evidence of improved outcomes. We welcome different formats that make your thinking, execution and influence clear.
Strategic leadership
. Experience setting direction across teams and influencing product priorities, with examples of resolving ambiguity and making trade-offs between user needs, commercial goals and technical constraints.
Editorial judgement
. A strong editorial point of view, backed by excellent writing and editing. You can explain why a conversation needs a particular message, sequence or tone, cut what gets in the way and give others specific feedback that improves the work. Your background may be in editorial, content design, linguistics, product design or another discipline; what matters is how you apply that judgement to interactive experiences.
Hands-on AI practice
. Practical fluency with LLMs and code, demonstrated through working AI prototypes and direct investigation of model behaviour. You can distinguish conversational problems from limitations in data, tools or the wider system.
Service design judgement
. The ability to connect individual conversations to the wider service, including user intent, context, available actions and agent workflows. Your decisions account for accessibility, localisation, privacy and situations that need human intervention.
Evaluation and training experience
. Experience developing conversation evaluations and annotating model-training data, with evidence of how qualitative and quantitative findings improved model behaviour and informed product decisions.
Impact beyond your own work
. A track record of improving other teams’ design quality through mentorship, critique and shared tools or practices they’ve adopted.

Job Title: Staff/Lead SDET Engineer (Test Automation Platform)
Product: Total Battle
Total Battle is a massive MMO 4X strategy game available on mobile and web, uniting millions of active players. As our product and engineering teams scale, we are shifting our testing paradigm: automated testing must become a daily, self-service engineering tool rather than a bottleneck owned by a dedicated team.
We are looking for a Staff/Lead SDET to take technical ownership of our internal test automation tooling and make this vision a reality.
Why this role exists
Your core mission is to empower product QA teams. You won't write tests; you will build the tools, APIs, and abstractions that allow QA engineers (with basic Python & OOP skills) to independently create checks, manage test states, run tests in CI/CD, and diagnose failures.
- The Product Teams own the tests.
- You own the tooling layer that makes their work possible.

💡 Core Focus Areas:
1. Client Testing Tools: UI scenarios, method/component checks across Android, WebGL, and (soon) iOS.
2. Server Integration: Component testing tools built over existing Python clients, SDKs, and product testability capabilities.(Note: We aren't starting from scratch. We need a visionary who can assess our existing solutions, define a target architecture, and evolve them incrementally).
What You’ll Work On
- Drive Technical Strategy: Define the roadmap for QA tooling, evolve its architecture, and personally implement key solutions.
- Build the Platform: Develop domain APIs, fixtures, and state-preparation tools for integration/component testing over existing SDKs.
- Enhance Client Automation: Extend client UI automation and enable sub-UI checks for specific client methods.
- Unify Execution: Ensure local and CI execution follow a predictable, unified path across Android and WebGL.
- Create Diagnostics: Build clear diagnostic tools to help QA engineers easily distinguish between product, test, tooling, and infrastructure failures.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Translate recurring QA needs into product testability requirements and establish technical contracts with client/backend teams.
- Evangelize & Mentor: Drive adoption of your tools through pilots, solid documentation, and feedback loops. (Where needed, help define engineering roles and participate in hiring/onboarding).
Who You Are We are looking for a hands-on technical leader who thrives in long-term ownership of internal platforms.
- Python Expert: You regularly write, debug, and maintain Python code for libraries, frameworks, SDKs, or internal tools.
- Platform Builder: You have designed or substantially evolved a framework/SDK used by multiple teams, bringing it to a point where teams can use it independently.
- API Designer: You know how to build stable public APIs over existing SDKs, hiding low-level details from the end-user.
- Cross-Functional Driver: You’ve successfully worked with backend, client, or framework teams to deliver testability capabilities, driving changes even when you don't directly manage the teams.
- CI/CD & Diagnostics Guru: You have integrated automated checks into CI quality gates with robust reproducibility and diagnostics.
- AI Adopter: You leverage LLMs and coding agents to investigate codebases, develop tooling, or create tests efficiently.
- Deep Domain Expertise: You have profound hands-on experience in at least one of the following (and can take technical responsibility for the other):
- Client/UI automation: Drivers, custom/non-native UI, synchronization, and sub-UI checks.
- Backend/integration tooling: Python clients/SDKs, protocols, sessions, fixtures, and test state.
Nice to Have (Bonus Points)
- Experience in both client/UI and backend/integration tooling.
- Background in modernizing legacy automation and conducting incremental user migrations.
- Experience with complex test lifecycles (data isolation, flaky checks, state management).
- Experience in GameDev or complex live-service products (Unity, Cocos/Axmol, WebGL).
- Familiarity with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, XCUITest, Android ADB, or iOS infrastructure.
- Experience with asynchronous Python, typed models (Pydantic, mypy), or schema-based code generation.
Why to join:
1. ☀️ Live & Work in Sunny Cyprus: We’re an office-first team in Limassol with a modern seaside workspaces. We provide full relocation and visa support for you and your family.
2. 💰 Industry-Leading Rewards: High salaries, a 13th salary, performance bonuses, extra rewards for life milestones (marriage, babies, long service), daily breakfast and lunch.
3. 🛡️ Family Support: Private family health insurance, plus a highly competitive monthly allowance for your children’s pre-school, school, and university education.
4. 🚀 Shape a Global Hit: Work on a Top-10 global mobile 4X strategy game that has grown 25x in revenue and audience over 5 years.
5. 🏰 Rock-Solid Stability: We operate at startup speed but with zero history of lay-offs. We are independent, financially secure, and boast a 99% employee satisfaction rate.
6. 🧠 Culture & Growth: A flat structure where the best ideas win and transparency rules. Your growth is funded from specialized training, certifications, language courses and books to internal and external conferences coverage.

From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Run growth experiments for Notion’s Startups and SMB programs. You’ll turn promising ideas into measurable customer and revenue growth, moving from a signal in the data to a live experiment and a clear readout. Unlike a narrowly scoped growth role, you’ll work across acquisition, product experiences, AI-enabled systems, and operations—partnering with Ecosystem Growth, Storytelling, Product, and Engineering. On a typical week, you might query behavior data, prototype an in-product flow, launch a campaign workflow, and decide whether the signal is strong enough to scale.
This role is based in New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Establish Startups and SMBs as a proving ground for growth ideas that can expand Notion’s acquisition, activation, and revenue.
- By your 90th day, map the relevant funnel, data sources, and existing growth bets with partners, then ship and evaluate your first experiment from hypothesis to customer-facing launch.
- By your 90th day, use AI as a practical collaborator by building an AI-assisted workflow for audience research, campaign iteration, quality checks, or analysis—with clear human judgment and data guardrails.
- By the end of your first year, build and iterate a portfolio of growth programs, using SQL and customer research to identify overlooked opportunities and decide where to invest next.
- By the end of your first year, turn the strongest experiments into reusable programs, playbooks, and measurement systems that other teams can run—and raise the bar for how Notion evaluates growth opportunities.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- A track record of shipping growth or operations projects, with a clear account of what you personally built and what changed as a result. This matters because the role owns the path from idea to measurable outcome.
- Strong SQL and analytical judgment: you can work through messy data, test assumptions, and distinguish a promising signal from a misleading result.
- Hands-on experience building campaigns or automated workflows in tools such as Customer.io http://Customer.io, Salesforce, or comparable platforms.
- The ability to turn an ambiguous goal into a practical plan, unblock yourself where possible, and communicate clearly when you need help from another team.
- Curiosity and learning agility, including a willingness to use AI as a real collaborator and to build better workflows as you learn what works.
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in New York City, the estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000 per year.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

- Use BMS/EPMS trends, alarms, power-quality records and cooling telemetry to identify abnormal operating conditions, capacity constraints and deteriorating resilience before service is affected.
Incident response, investigations and reliability
- Act as a senior engineering escalation point during major infrastructure incidents; rapidly assess failure domain, remaining redundancy, safety implications, likely IT impact and viable restoration options.
- Coordinate technical information across the colocation provider, Mistral IT Operations and OEM partners, ensuring accurate incident timelines, risk communication and controlled return to service.
- Review and challenge root-cause analyses, distinguishing immediate triggers from underlying design, maintenance, controls, process and organizational contributors.
- Define and follow up corrective and preventive actions, requesting evidence of implementation and verifying that recurring failure modes have been addressed.
- Identify systemic trends across sites and share lessons learned with engineering design, commissioning and regional operations teams.
- Support emergency response planning and tabletop exercises covering loss of utility, cooling failures, liquid leaks, fire/life-safety events and critical equipment failures.
Capacity delivery, commissioning and change control
- Participate in design and constructability reviews for expansions, retrofits and new AI deployments; flag operational, maintainability and resilience concerns early.
- Review commissioning and integrated systems testing plans, including power transfers, redundancy scenarios, controls failure modes, cooling recovery and operational readiness criteria.
- Challenge test results and acceptance evidence against defined electrical, thermal and operational requirements; track unresolved technical issues through handover.
- Partner with IT Operations on rack power and thermal limits, direct-to-chip liquid cooling, coolant distribution unit boundaries, leak response and load-restoration dependencies.
- Assess proposed changes to critical infrastructure, including concurrent maintenance, controls updates and brownfield works; recommend safeguards and escalation where exposure is unacceptable.
- Provide technical coaching to internal stakeholders, contribute to engineering standards and support recruitment and knowledge sharing as the portfolio expands.
Success measures
- Critical technical risks are identified early, prioritized and reduced through verified mitigation actions, supporting Mistral’s availability objectives.
- High-risk maintenance and infrastructure changes receive timely, evidence-based technical review with clear mitigations and escalation.
- Major incidents are diagnosed accurately, communicated effectively and followed by robust root-cause analysis and verified corrective actions.
- New and expanded capacity meets agreed redundancy, electrical, cooling and operational acceptance requirements.
- Repeat failures, unresolved high-severity defects and preventable technical deviations decrease over time.
Minimum qualifications
- 5–7+ years in critical facilities engineering, commissioning, data center operations or technical assurance in high-availability environments.
- Strong practical knowledge of critical electrical infrastructure (UPS, generators, MV/LV distribution, switchgear and protection) and mechanical systems (cooling plant, pumps, controls and heat rejection).
- Ability to review single-line diagrams, operating sequences, technical procedures, maintenance plans, commissioning evidence and root-cause analyses.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure incidents and influencing external technical teams without direct line authority.
- Clear written and verbal English communication, sound judgment under pressure and willingness to travel and participate in incident escalation as needed.
Preferred experience
- Full technical governance, multi-site operations or mission-critical facilities serving high-density AI/HPC workloads.
- Experience with direct-to-chip liquid cooling, CDUs, facility/technology cooling interfaces, water quality, leak detection and rack-level thermal management.
- Integrated systems testing, EPMS/BMS trend analysis, protection coordination, failure-mode reviews and cross-site engineering standardization.
- Experience partnering with hardware OEMs, design engineers, commissioning teams and infrastructure providers during live-site expansion.
