- Proficient coding abilities in one or more popular programming or scripting languages; Python, Go, or JavaScript proficiency is a plus

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
Before you apply, we encourage you to explore our culture page https://www.kraken.com/culture to understand what drives us and how we work.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world’s longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a small, dedicated growth and experimentation team within Krak, focused on accelerating acquisition, activation, engagement and trading activity across the Krak app. This is a frontend-leaning full-stack role: the majority of your work will be in React Native, supported by enough backend capability to take an experiment from idea to live without waiting on another team.
Rather than executing against a rigid roadmap, you’ll work closely with Product on a continuous pipeline of fast, lightweight experiments, owning each one from hypothesis through implementation, launch, measurement and iteration. The mandate is simple: find the highest-leverage opportunities to grow users and revenue, prove what works, and scale the winners – with direct, measurable impact on how millions of customers discover and use Kraken’s products.
The opportunity
- Build and ship consumer-facing features quickly in React Native and TypeScript, favouring small, high-velocity experiments over long-running projects.
- Own experiments end-to-end – hypothesis, design, build, launch, measurement and iteration – using platforms such as Statsig to test globally or within specific markets.
- Improve onboarding, activation and feature discovery to drive conversion, engagement and trading revenue, iterating rapidly on features that are already live.
- Build viral acquisition features and value-add growth features on top of Krak’s existing product offering.
- Contribute to backend services and APIs wherever an experiment requires it, so you can ship across the stack without being blocked. Our backend is primarily Rust; prior Rust experience is not expected, but enthusiasm for picking it up is.
- Read your own results, including trade-offs between conversion gains and other metrics, and decide whether to scale, iterate or kill – driving technical decisions autonomously amid evolving priorities and limited upfront planning.
What you bring
- 6+ years of software development experience building and shipping large-scale, consumer-facing applications. Strong, hands-on React and React Native experience is essential.
- Demonstrated experience running growth experiments at consumer-facing businesses, with measurable impact on conversion, activation, retention or revenue. This is a consumer growth role, so B2B or platform-only backgrounds are not a fit.
- Working backend proficiency: you can design and implement services and APIs yourself. We care about backend fundamentals rather than any particular language, and you should be open to working in Rust.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals, with hands-on experience across APIs, WebSockets and real-time systems, mobile performance, testing, and modern development workflows.
- Practical experience designing, running and analysing A/B tests – feature flags, statistical significance, product analytics, funnel and cohort data – with the judgement to act decisively on what the results show.
- End-to-end ownership of product features and a strong product engineering mindset, with the initiative and adaptability to operate with minimal direction amid ambiguity and frequently changing priorities.
Nice to haves
- Customer-facing product experience within fintech, digital banking, payments, trading or crypto.
- Hands-on experience with Statsig or a comparable experimentation platform, including regional and global rollouts.
- Rust experience, given our backend stack.
- SQL and self-serve analytics, so you can pull and interrogate your own data.
- AI fluency. Familiarity with how AI tools and patterns have fundamentally shifted your development workflow and problem-solving approach.
- Native mobile development (iOS/Android), distributed systems or microservices, or engineering within a hyperscaling consumer technology organisation.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.

Little more about the team:
The team builds observability for AI in Honeycomb. We help customers see what their agents are doing, what those agents cost, and where errors happen. We also give them insight into individual conversations so they can debug them. We're bringing LLM and agent observability together, and we own both the data foundation and the product experiences built on top of it. You'll work in a small, cross-functional group of engineers with a dedicated product manager and designer, shipping features customers use in production. If you want to define how people understand and debug AI systems, this is the team for you.
What you’ll do in the role:
Deliver AI observability capabilities end to end, from ingestion to in-product visualizations.
Contribute to the data model and infrastructure that let us observe agents and their ecosystems across the Honeycomb product.
Build systems that analyze and surface AI-specific signals, such as cost, token usage, errors, and anomalies.
Collaborate with product and design partners to make sure what we build is usable, intuitive, and unlocks meaningful user workflows.
Share what you learn about exploring and understanding AI system behavior across conversations and workloads.
Iterate through fast feedback loops and experimentation, and share both wins and failures.
What you’ll bring to the role:
3+ years of software engineering experience.
Experience shipping customer-facing features at a SaaS company, beyond internal tooling.
Full-stack range, with proficiency in backend development (Go and/or Python) and frontend development (TypeScript and React).
A track record of working with product managers and designers.
Regular, hands-on use of AI tools in your day-to-day engineering work.
Experience being on call. You'd join our rotation after about 90 days.
A track record of navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving field where requirements shift and experimentation is a core part of the job.
Bonus: Experience building LLM or agent-powered features in production.
Bonus: Hands-on experience with observability tooling, such as OpenTelemetry.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
People Programs at Ramp builds the programs that shape how employees experience the company day to day; from someone's first week to the moments that define Ramp's culture company-wide. As Ramp scales, we need someone dedicated to building that function and taking our foundations to the next level.
In this role, you'll own programs like onboarding, manager enablement, engagement surveys, and the company-wide culture and recognition programs that shape how Ramp works, to name a few. You'll work closely with People Business Partners, People Operations, and Comms to make these programs land and thrive.
This work is high impact and high visibility. This is a hands-on, build-from-scratch role for someone with strong judgment who owns things fully.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build your own roadmap by pulling signal from engagement survey results, PBP and manager input, and People Ops, then make the call on what to build, improve, delegate, or stop.
- Own onboarding effectiveness — from pre-start through the first week — so every new hire's first experience of Ramp reflects how we work and our culture, partnering with People Ops and IT on day-to-day logistics
- Own the performance review cycle's program design — timeline, tools, and the manager/employee experience — partnering with PBPs on calibration and outcomes
- Build and own manager enablement as a standalone program: design the content, frameworks, and moments that help managers lead well, in partnership with PBPs on delivery
- Conceive, build, and run company-wide culture-building programs, fully owning logistics and content end-to-end
- Own recognition programming: how we surface and celebrate what's worth celebrating across the company and the rituals/milestones that make Ramp's culture tangible day to day
- Own the biannual engagement survey: design, run, and work with People Business Partners to translate results into action
- Be the trusted voice on what we should build in-house versus buy (tools, vendors, platforms) for people programs, grounded in judgment about what's worth the investment, not a default toward either
WHAT YOU NEED
- 5+ years owning people/culture programs end-to-end at a high-growth company - from ideation through hands-on execution
- A builder's track record: you've created programming that didn't exist before, not adapted someone else's playbook
- Strong facilitation and executive presence. You’re comfortable being the face of a program in front of the whole company, not just behind the scenes
- Comfortable with data: you can read engagement survey results and program metrics and turn them into a point of view, not just a report
- Proven ability to partner across functions (PBPs, Comms, Enablement, leadership)
- First-principles thinker who can turn ambiguity into a scalable framework: you don't need a rule book, but you can build one when it's missing
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend
UNITED STATES
- 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents
- One Medical annual membership

ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Supabase manages millions of Postgres instances and is growing. We have strong teams across observability, release engineering, and incident management — and we're concentrating our reliability efforts into a dedicated SRE practice that ties the discipline together across the platform.
You'll be embedded within Service Operations, and your primary job is to make every engineering team more reliable — not by owning their infrastructure, but by establishing the practices, frameworks, and feedback loops that let them own reliability themselves. You'll work across the org: sometimes setting the standard, sometimes pair-programming a fix, sometimes helping a team define their error budget, sometimes telling them it's exhausted.
This role is ideal for someone who has a strong vision for how SRE should work and thrives in async, fast-paced environments where influence matters more than authority.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Partner with service teams to define meaningful SLIs and SLOs grounded in customer experience, and build the error budget policies that turn them into engineering decisions
- Own and evolve the Operational Readiness Review (ORR) process — conducting reviews for new services and major changes across observability, alerting, runbooks, capacity, and graceful degradation
- Strengthen the incident-to-improvement pipeline: connecting postmortem findings to operational readiness gaps, identifying repeat failure patterns, and driving systemic fixes
- Act as the reliability expert teams pull in for architecture reviews, failure mode analysis, dependency mapping, and resilience design
- Identify and quantify operational toil across the org, and build or advocate for automation that eliminates it
- Help teams design sustainable on-call practices: alert quality, escalation paths, runbook coverage, and noise reduction
- Track and report on org-wide operational maturity, surfacing systemic gaps and driving remediation
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Have 7+ years of experience in SRE, production engineering, or reliability-focused roles, including experience shaping SRE practices and driving adoption across engineering teams
- Have a software engineering mindset — you write code and build tools, not just configure them
- Have hands-on experience defining and operationalizing SLOs/SLIs at scale, including error budget policies that actually influenced engineering decisions
- Have deep experience with incident response, postmortem facilitation, and turning incident learnings into systemic improvements
- Have worked with large-scale multi-tenant systems (bonus: managed database platforms or Postgres)
- Are proficient with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi preferred, Terraform/CDK also acceptable)
- Communicate clearly and persuasively — this role requires influencing without authority across a distributed org
- Have experience in async or globally distributed teams
- Are energized by making other teams more effective rather than being the one who fixes everything
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Kubernetes-based platform operations
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, or similar observability tooling
- Experience building developer-facing reliability tooling (SLO dashboards, ORR frameworks, toil tracking, DORA metrics)

Ramp is hiring its first dedicated Physical Security Lead to build and run the program that protects our people, our leaders, our events, and our offices. Our footprint now spans a multi-floor New York headquarters, Ramp-managed offices, and a growing set of hubs across North America and Europe. Our leaders are increasingly visible on public stages.
You'll own three areas in roughly equal measure: executive protection, event security, and office security (access control, cameras, guards, and building security). Your job is to turn a set of strong vendors and partner teams into one measurable, risk-based program.
This is a high-ownership IC role on the Corporate Security team. It reports to the Director of IT & Corporate Security and is based at our NYC HQ. This is a physical security role; cybersecurity and information security are owned by other Ramp security teams. We aren't looking for a guard supervisor or a box-checker. We want someone who makes it safe for Ramp to move fast, host great events, and keep our leaders accessible.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and run Ramp's executive protection program:
- Protective risk assessments and residential security reviews.
- Domestic and international travel security.
- Advance work for high-visibility appearances.
- Selecting, standing up, and managing our executive protection provider.
- Turn threat intelligence into protective action. Partner with Detection & Response to move from online threat and exposure monitoring to threat assessments, personal-information exposure reduction, and clear escalation playbooks.
- Own security for internal and external events, from all-hands and offsites to conferences, customer events, and executive dinners:
- Risk-tiered intake and written security plans.
- Coordination with venues and vendors.
- On-site leadership for the highest-risk events.
- After-action reviews.
- Set Ramp's global physical security standards for access control, video surveillance, intercoms, visitor management, and alarm monitoring. Tier them for headquarters, Ramp-managed offices, and flexible or serviced hub spaces.
- Build security into every new office, move, and expansion:
- Write the security design requirements and review drawings.
- Manage integrators through installation and acceptance testing.
- Partner with IT on network and identity integration.
- Manage the guard program and security vendors end to end: scope, post orders, SLAs and KPIs, budget, and quarterly business reviews. Own the security relationship with landlords and building management.
- Lead emergency preparedness and physical incident response:
- Emergency notifications, evacuation and shelter-in-place plans, and drills.
- Liaison with local law enforcement.
- Workplace-violence prevention, in partnership with People and Legal.
- Run physical access governance with IT. Tie access to joiner/mover/leaver events, run regular access reviews, and keep audit-ready evidence for physical security controls.
- Measure and report program health to leadership. Use AI and automation to scale the program without scaling headcount.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 6+ years in corporate or physical security, including 3+ years owning a security program or major workstream at a multi-site company. Executing someone else's program doesn't count toward this.
- Hands-on depth in at least two of the three areas (executive protection, event security, physical security systems such as access control and cameras) and solid working knowledge of the third.
- Experience administering or deploying enterprise access control and video platforms (e.g., Avigilon Alta/Openpath, Verkada, Genetec, LenelS2), and partnering with IT on networking and SSO.
- A track record of managing security vendors (guard, protection, integrator, event staffing) through contracts, SLAs, budgets, and performance reviews.
- Strong risk judgment. You size controls to the actual threat, explain the tradeoffs, and lead with "here's how we do this safely" rather than "no."
- Excellent writing. You can produce a crisp SOP, an event security plan, and a one-page executive brief.
- Willingness to work from our NYC office 4 days a week, travel 10–15%, support occasional evening and weekend events, and serve as primary on-call for physical security incidents (with the Director as backup and guard and vendor partners as on-site first response).
- Real, day-to-day use of AI tools in your work.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- ASIS CPP or PSP; formal executive protection training; first aid or Stop the Bleed certification.
- Experience at a high-growth tech, fintech, or financial services company with a high-profile founder or CEO.
- Experience writing security design standards for office buildouts and reading architectural or low-voltage drawings.
- Familiarity with physical and environmental control requirements in SOC 2, PCI DSS, or FedRAMP.
- A government protective, law enforcement, or military background, combined with corporate program ownership.
- An established network of protection, event security, and integrator vendors in NYC, SF, and internationally.
FAIR WARNING
- This is a builder role. Parts of the program exist today (vendors, a responsibility matrix, some SOPs). You'll turn them into a system.
- You're an IC who directs vendors and partner teams, not a manager of a security staff. You'll need to influence Workplace, Events, IT, Executive Assistants, People, and Legal without formal authority.
- Security at Ramp enables the business. Events still happen, offices stay welcoming, and executives stay accessible. Your job is to make that safe.
- Evenings, weekends, and travel come with the territory, especially around major events.
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend

About the Role
We're looking for a FinOps Data Engineer to help drive cost optimization and cloud financial governance across our AWS infrastructure and GCP footprint. You'll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Product to find and ship savings, build the tooling necessary to maximize efficiency of every dollar spent in the cloud, and cultivate a culture of cost awareness across engineering teams. This role owns the data side of that mission: the models, pipelines, and analysis that make cost, usage, and margin numbers trustworthy across the company.
This is a hands-on engineering role, not an analyst seat. You'll do the schlep work other teams don't have time for, digging into a bucket's access pattern, writing the dbt model or Python pipeline that ships the fix, building the cost-vs-revenue mart that answers a margin question once instead of every time, and chasing a number until it reconciles. Strong communication matters as much as technical depth, you'll regularly explain a savings case or a data model's implications to an engineering team, a finance stakeholder, and a leadership audience in the same week.
What You'll Be Responsible For
In this role, you'll:
- Find and ship savings across AWS and GCP: Analyze billing, usage, and cost trends to identify opportunities, rightsizing, storage lifecycle policies, data transfer, and spot/auto-scaling. Take ideas from identification through to a realized dollar figure, not just a recommendation.
- Build and maintain the FinOps data pipeline: Design and run the BigQuery/dbt models that turn raw billing and usage data (CUR, Storage Lens) into reconciled, trustworthy mart tables, the foundation everything else in FinOps is built on.
- Build cost-vs-revenue and customer segmentation models: Model unit economics and margin by product line and customer segment, and extend coverage as new products and segments come online.
- Apply data science to cost and usage data: Build forecasting models, detect anomalies statistically rather than by threshold alone, and quantify savings opportunities (e.g. storage lifecycle, request-cost patterns) with rigor a spreadsheet can't match.
- Build and maintain cost attribution: Tagging policies, cost allocation, and chargeback/showback so engineering teams can see and own their own spend. This is foundational work other savings work depends on.
- Automate cost governance: Build automated cost reporting, anomaly detection, and alerting. Write the scripts and infrastructure-as-code (Python, Terraform, Lambda) that enforce cost policy rather than relying on manual review.
- Partner with engineering on architecture decisions: Bring cost into the room early, cost-efficiencies are cheaper to get right at design than to retrofit.
- Work with Finance on forecasting and reporting: Support budget tracking and financial KPIs; build dashboards and self-serve analytics engineering and finance can both read.
You Might Be a Good Fit If You
- Have strong AWS expertise and working GCP knowledge, including pricing models, billing structures, and cost optimization mechanics.
- Have data engineering depth: dbt, BigQuery (or an equivalent modern warehouse), SQL at scale, and data modeling for analytics (dimensional modeling, incremental models, testing).
- Have data science fundamentals: statistical forecasting, anomaly detection, and experimentation, and know when a rigorous model beats a rule of thumb.
- Have automation and scripting skills: Python, Terraform/ pulumi, Lambda, or Bash.
- Are comfortable with cost/billing tooling: AWS Cost Explorer, Cost & Usage Reports, GCP Billing Reports, and BI/dashboarding (we use Hex).
- Have experience with, or are comfortable picking up, Linear and Notion as the system of record for tracking and documenting FinOps work.
- Experience with a dedicated cloud cost management platform (e.g. CloudZero, Vantage, or similar) is a plus, not required.
- Can analyze cost data and present it clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Have prior experience spanning data analytics, data engineering, or data science in a FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud governance context.
- Are energized by doing the unglamorous, high-leverage work (the schlep) that unblocks other teams, and by working cross-functionally without positional authority.
