We are seeking a back-end leaning Senior Developer to join our Growth Team, focused on building net-new self-serve experiences, evolving the underlying systems and integrations that power Product Growth, and driving rapid experimentation and feedback loops across our expanding B2B product suites.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment.
- Strong experience building backend services in a modern language (e.g. Go, Node.js, Ruby, or Python).
- Deep experience with React and/or TypeScript in customer-facing web applications.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation, analytics, and defining meaningful success metrics.
- Ability to operate autonomously, drive initiatives forward, and influence technical direction.
- Strong collaboration skills and a growth mindset.
Bonus points for:
- Demonstrated experience leading or significantly contributing to experimentation-driven product development.
- Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Looker, Qualtrics).
- Experience working in security- or compliance-sensitive domains.
What you can expect:
- Shape and evolve our experimentation platform (feature flags, instrumentation, data quality, reporting loops).
- Lead the design and implementation of experiments that drive activation, engagement, and expansion.
- Partner closely with product, design, and data to refine hypotheses, define measurable outcomes, and interpret results.
- Balance rapid iteration with long-term architectural health and security.
- Raise the bar for code quality, observability, and performance across the team.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and pairing.
- Identify technical opportunities to unlock new growth mechanisms.
- See your work directly influence measurable customer and business outcomes.
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $153,000 USD and $214,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $144,000 CAD and $202,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
Our approach to remote work
We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles, and we require our employees to be ready and willing to take part. Frequency will depend on role and responsibilities, and may include, but is not limited to: annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer/industry events.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Engineering team tackles the toughest challenges, so our users never have to. Real-time infrastructure, AI-native architecture, and a frontend that feels effortless - all powered by a team that moves fast, thinks rigorously, and holds an exceptionally high bar for quality.
We’re looking for Staff Product Engineers that can solve our hardest technical problems, both individually and through technical leadership. You’ll design and build software that creates delightful, groundbreaking user experiences. You’ll play a key role in growing the talent in our engineering organization through mentoring, coaching and hiring, and you’ll resolve our most tricky product issues through an understanding of what’s important to our users and business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide technical leadership for a critical part of Attio’s engineering organization. You’ll work across teams to design significant parts of our infrastructure, aligning with Attio’s overall technical strategy. - Proven technical leadership credentials. You’ll have a track record of not just personal execution, but of delivering projects through others. You’ll be able to break down large, complex problems into smaller, independent goals that others can own. You’ll understand how technical architecture impacts ability to deliver, and to maintain systems for the long term, and be sensitive to the need to pick the right compromise.
- A growth mindset. Software engineering is changing rapidly in the age of AI, and you’ll understand the need to be open-minded and to experiment. You’ll be keen to teach, and to learn from the experience of others. You’ll relish the challenge of working in an area that’s new to you, and enjoy the discomfort that leads to personal growth.
- A passion for growing the skills of others. As you deliver projects through your technical leadership, you’ll be keen to grow the next generation of technical leaders. You’ll have demonstrated impact through mentoring and coaching, and be able to flex your style depending on the needs of your colleagues. WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Why this role?
We're building the foundational infrastructure that will define how the world thinks about and deploys AI, and we want the sharpest, most curious people to help us do it. As a Lead Data Scientist on our Analytics and Data Insights team, you'll tackle problems that don't have textbook answers yet; shaping go-to-market strategy for technology that's still being invented, designing the experiments that prove or kill our biggest bets, and helping enterprises understand what foundational AI actually means for their bottom line. You'll own the full analytical lifecycle, from framing the right questions and building the models, to leading a team that delivers answers leadership can act on.
As a Lead Data Scientist, you will:
- Drive the mission forward.
- Own the science: design and lead experimentation programs including A/B tests, multi-armed bandits, causal inference studies, that directly map to product and go-to-market decisions.
- Build predictive models that matter: develop and deploy models for forecasting, segmentation, propensity scoring, and opportunity sizing across Cohere's core business lines.
- Lead and grow a team: manage a team of analysts and data scientists. Set the technical bar, mentor aggressively, and create an environment where exceptional people do their best work.
- Act like an owner: no waiting around. You'll define analytical priorities, allocate resources, and push initiatives from question to production.
- Shape strategy: partner across product, research, sales, and finance to define how Cohere grows. Your team's work will get built into products and implemented into strategy.
You may be a good fit, if you have:
- Strong command of SQL, Python, and Git, alongside deep expertise in statistical inference, experimental design, and predictive modeling
- A proven ability to turn ambiguous business questions into rigorous analytical problems, with clear and compelling recommendations to match
- Experience leading analytics or data science teams, with a track record of making smart people faster
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as BigQuery, dbt, Looker, or Airflow (nice to have, not essential)
- Genuine excitement about AI - you follow the research, have opinions, and enjoy being in the weeds
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, managing complex multi-workstream roadmaps, and distilling insights into a concise, actionable narrative
- A leadership style grounded in empathy as much as in data
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS:
- A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch.
- Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health.
- RRSP matching, 401K, Pension Scheme.
- 100% Parental Leave top-up for up to 6 months, for either parent.
- Annual enrichment benefits:
Arts & culture, fitness/wellness, quality time, and a workspace improvement credit.
Education & learning stipend for conferences, courses, and coaching.
- 6 weeks of paid vacation (30 working days!)
- Budget for traveling to other offices if you are remote, plus an annual company offsite.
HOW AND WHERE WE WORK:
- Cohere is remote-friendly, but we also have offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul with more opening soon.
- For those in the office: a daily lunch program, plenty of snacks, and regular community and social events.
- For those not near an office: a co-working benefit so you can work alongside others in your city.
- Everyone receives a $500 home office stipend to set up your workspace properly.
If any of the above doesn’t line up exactly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
We are hiring a Software Engineer to build systems across Fraud, UIM (User & Identity Management), and Identity. This role sits at the intersection of security, risk decisioning, and product experience. You will help build detection and enforcement capabilities for fraud and account takeover, as well as the identity primitives that power authentication, authorization, and safe account access.
This work is deeply cross-functional. You will partner closely with Fraud Ops, Risk Strategy, Security, Product, and Data to ship improvements that are measurable in loss reduction, attack containment, and user experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build and evolve backend services that detect and prevent fraud across multiple surfaces, including account access and money movement.
- Develop enforcement and response tooling that enables fast, safe actions such as identity locks, business locks, payment freezes, and other containment levers.
- Improve protections against account takeover (ATO), including risk-based step-ups, monitoring, and targeted friction controls (for example “under attack” style controls and MFA surge detection/alerting).
- Design and operate high-signal systems with strong observability: metrics, dashboards, alerting, and playbooks for incidents and fraud campaigns.
- Partner with UIM/Identity stakeholders to strengthen authentication and identity foundations (roles, permissions, identity state, and related platform primitives).
- Drive end-to-end delivery: technical design, implementation, rollout strategy, and iteration based on outcome metrics.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 3+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent).
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals (APIs, distributed systems, data modeling, reliability).
- Experience building data-informed detection or decisioning systems (rules engines, scoring, anomaly detection, or similar), or strong interest in learning in this domain.
- Proven ability to operate production systems: debugging, incident response, and improving on-call quality through instrumentation and automation.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and comfort working with product and operations partners.
Nice to Have
- Experience in fraud, risk, identity, authentication, authorization, abuse prevention, or security engineering.
- Familiarity with payments rails, card transaction risk, or account security patterns.
- Experience building internal tools for operations teams (case management, investigation, enforcement workflows).
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend

- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay
- Pet insurance
- In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more
- Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF (if needed)

Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
We’re seeking an experienced Director, Technical Revenue to join our Revenue Accounting team. In this role, you’ll lead complex ASC 606 assessments, develop clear and comprehensive technical revenue memos, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to determine the appropriate revenue treatment for new products, pricing models, and commercial arrangements.
You’ll play a meaningful role in shaping our revenue recognition policies and scaling our quote-to-cash systems as the business continues to grow.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Own and evolve ASC 606 revenue policies for SaaS and consumption-based models, including credits, usage-based pricing, variable consideration, and contract modifications
Lead technical accounting research and author clear, decision-ready memos, policies, and playbooks (e.g., SSP frameworks, non-standard deal guidance)
Review complex enterprise and strategic contracts, advising Sales, Deal Desk, and Legal on structure, risk, and revenue implications
Define revenue recognition approaches for new products and offerings, including performance obligations, SSP, principal vs. agent considerations, and contract changes
Translate complex accounting guidance into practical recommendations and scalable processes for cross-functional partners
Partner with auditors to support revenue positions, including leading position papers, walkthroughs, and evidence strategies, while ensuring SOX-compliant controls
Build and develop a high-performing technical revenue team, coaching managers, and raising the bar on judgment, communication, and technical rigor
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
CPA certification with 12+ years of progressive accounting background, including deep expertise in technical revenue accounting under ASC 606
Strong command of US GAAP and SaaS revenue models, including multi-element arrangements, SSP, variable consideration, contract modifications, and usage-based pricing
Proven ability to evaluate complex contracts and determine appropriate revenue treatment across a range of scenarios
Track record of influencing and defending accounting positions with external auditors and senior stakeholders
Skilled at translating complex accounting concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-accounting audiences
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Background in public accounting (e.g., Big 4) combined with in-house experience at a high-growth SaaS or technology company
Familiarity with consumption-based or usage-based revenue models at scale
Comfort operating in fast-paced environments with evolving products and business models
Experience leading managers and developing technical accounting talent
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our Enterprise Platform team and build the infrastructure foundations that enable the world's largest organizations to run Replit within their security and compliance boundaries. As a Software Engineer on this team, you'll design and implement the deployment flexibility, networking capabilities, authorization systems, and data controls that enterprises require, from single-tenant architectures and private connectivity to custom policy enforcement and customer-managed encryption.
You'll work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and enterprise requirements, partnering with Platform Engineering, Security, and Sales to ship capabilities that unlock adoption at demanding organizations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build enterprise deployment infrastructure: Design and implement single-tenant and dedicated deployment options, enabling customers to run Replit with the isolation guarantees their security posture requires.
- Implement private networking capabilities: Build VPC peering, private connectivity, and static IP configurations that allow enterprises to integrate Replit into their existing network architectures.
- Design authorization services: Build the authorization infrastructure that enforces custom enterprise policies; enabling fine-grained access controls, custom permission models, and policy enforcement that integrates with customers' existing identity and governance systems.
- Ship data protection features: Implement bring-your-own-key (BYOK) encryption, customer-managed keys, and data residency controls that give enterprises ownership over their most sensitive data.
- Develop infrastructure automation: Write Terraform modules and automation that enable reliable, repeatable enterprise deployments across regions and configurations.
- Debug and harden systems: Dive deep into complex infrastructure problems spanning networking, authorization, Kubernetes, and cloud services to make our enterprise platform more robust and diagnosable.
- Partner with go-to-market teams: Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to understand enterprise infrastructure requirements, scope technical solutions, and unblock deployments.
- Contribute to technical strategy: Help define SLAs/SLOs for enterprise infrastructure reliability; participate in build-vs-buy decisions for complex infrastructure capabilities.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Typescript or Python; you write high-quality, well-tested code.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies in production environments.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking: VPCs, peering, private connectivity, load balancers, DNS.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and configuration management.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization systems: OAuth/OIDC, RBAC/ABAC models, policy enforcement.
- Familiarity with security and encryption fundamentals: TLS, encryption at rest, key management concepts.
- Strong debugging skills with an ability to trace issues across distributed systems.
- Excellent written communication; you can explain technical tradeoffs clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, networking, and IAM.
- Experience building multi-tenant or single-tenant SaaS infrastructure.
- Familiarity with enterprise compliance frameworks (SOC 2, FedRAMP, HIPAA) and how they translate to infrastructure requirements.
- Experience with customer-managed encryption keys (CMEK/BYOK) implementations.
- Background in developer platforms, cloud IDEs, or developer productivity products.

GiveWell’s mission is to help people in need as much as we can by researching the most cost‑effective ways to save and improve lives, sharing our work openly, and directing donations to the programs we believe will do the most good. Our work, which focuses on global health and well-being, is funded by tens of thousands of donors who rely on our research to inform their giving. We’ve grown from directing $1.5 million in 2010 to directing more than $400 million in 2025. We anticipate our total grantmaking is likely to approach or even exceed $1 billion this year, and we are working toward a future that could be several times that scale. Through years of deliberate groundwork, we’ve been growing our research capacity and scope in order to direct substantially more funding to the most impactful opportunities we can find.
Summary
GiveWell's senior research staff are the key decision makers for hundreds of millions of dollars in grantmaking, and we think growing that team is one of the most important things we can do to increase our impact. We're seeking one or more Senior Recruiters to help us do that.
Finding senior research staff is a hard problem for a couple reasons:
The talent pool for GiveWell researchers basically doesn’t exist as a defined group. You can’t go to one type of program, industry, or a few obvious competitors to build a reliable pipeline. The people who succeed here come from a wide range of backgrounds — economics PhDs, policy analysts, management consultants, medical doctors, neuroscientists, primate biologists, etc. — and the roles don't have clean analogues elsewhere. What they share is a set of hard-to-measure cognitive skills and quantitative fluency that doesn’t show up reliably on resumes.
Our process is very competitive. The offer rate for senior research roles is less than one in a thousand.
We want you to figure out where to find strong candidates, improve our assessment process, and do the hands-on work of sourcing, screening, and closing offers. You'll work very closely with our research leadership team. We're most excited about finding someone who helps us make better decisions about finding great talent — and hire them faster.
The role
You'd work closely with our manager, research recruiting and the team to own recruiting for some of our
Researcher
, Program Officer,
Senior Researcher
, and Senior Program Officer roles. A few problems we’ll want you to think about:
After candidates apply, is our assessment process effective?
Our offer rate for senior roles is below 0.1%. That might mean we’re extremely selective. It might also mean we’re losing good candidates somewhere in the funnel. You’ll dig into our data and find answers (How well do early screening scores predict work trial performance? What are the most common rejection reasons, and are they signal or noise? How did past hires actually turn out?). You’ll help us develop good heuristics about what to do in situations when candidates’ signals are mixed.
Where do we even find good candidates?
The ideal GiveWell researcher doesn’t come from one degree program, industry, or competitor. You’ll think about where to look and go after them. And you’ll continually develop new pipelines with creative methods (running structured referral conversations with our researchers, scouring conference guest lists, using sourcing tools creatively, or maybe vibe-coding your own).
How can we use data to make better decisions?
Right now, we don’t have great visibility into which sourcing channels, process changes, or pipeline stages are driving results. You’ll track data, run analyses, and help us make evidence-based decisions about where to put effort. In some cases, you might find out that we don’t have the right data architecture to answer important questions, so you’ll build it.
What are ways our hiring process could be much better?
This is harder to describe because it covers ~every strategic and tactical question we face. We want you to be thinking about all of it. Things like: Are we overweighting particular qualities and losing promising candidates without noticing? How could we run experiments on our hiring processes (randomization, A/B testing, sourcing campaigns) that actually give us useful information?
You’ll also do a fair amount of bread-and-butter recruiting work: screening applications, writing outreach emails, and interviewing candidates. We think that sort of work will keep you close to the data and help you develop strong pattern recognition.
About you
You’re excited about GiveWell's mission and methods.
You think GiveWell is doing something special, not just generically “doing good.” You can explain what makes GiveWell different.
You’re careful and truth-seeking with your beliefs.
For example, if a hiring manager says we need to find “scrappy” people, you’re likely to ask “Why do you believe that?” or “What does scrappy mean?” instead of uncritically agreeing. You’re quick to update your beliefs by picking up new information and asking sharper questions. You can probably tell us about times when you’ve changed your mind about important things.
You're unusually curious and analytical.
When you get invested in a question, you keep trying to find the right answer after many other people would have stopped. You ground your beliefs in data when possible and hedge appropriately when you’re not confident.
You have very high standards.
We have a high competence bar for our research team, and you’ll need to uphold that and own your decisions about applications that do and don’t meet our bar.
You’re entrepreneurial and high agency.
You figure things out. You have a history of solving problems. You’re very resourceful. You’re more likely to make the mistake of moving too fast than moving too slow. You'd rather try something imperfect and learn from it than wait for a perfect plan.
You're direct.
You say what you actually think even when it's uncomfortable.
You’re good at communicating in writing.
You're concise, clear, and you don't hide behind jargon. You probably enjoy an effective memo.
If you think people who know you well would agree that many of the qualities above describe you, we’d like you to apply.
Qualifications
We care much more about the qualities described above than any specific background. That said, some things that might help:
Experience in recruiting, talent operations, research operations, or a generalist role at a mission-driven organization
Comfort with data — spreadsheets and basic quantitative analysis
Strong written communication
Experience working closely with executive-level leadership
Familiarity with global health, development economics, effective altruism, or adjacent fields is a plus but not required
Recruiting experience is welcome but not required. Some of the best people in comparable roles at peer organizations came in without it. And we’ll support you if you want to move on to other things at GiveWell after making progress on our research recruiting. There's always a place here for generalists who are good at solving hard problems, and we have a history of developing high performers into different roles across our org.
Key Questions
What are some of the reasons I might not like this role?
GiveWell has a unique approach to hiring,
and it’s possible that you’ll dislike it. For example, we tend to lean heavily into work trials and finding empirical evidence about the candidates we hire. We are rigorous in how we evaluate candidates, and hold really high standards, which can lead to longer hiring rounds with more steps than what is typical elsewhere. We’re extremely quality focused and would rather hold out for the right candidate than settle on someone who’s “mostly right.”
You’ll need to deeply understand our work and culture to succeed.
We want you to be able to speak with candidates about our work and what makes GiveWell special, and provide useful input to hiring managers when we’re developing assessments and evaluating candidates.
You will be expected to hunt, not just farm.
While we receive a high volume of inbound applicants, we are looking for recruiters who effectively source and attract candidates, not just wait for them to trickle in.
You’ll be collaborating with leaders with high expectations.
We’re a founder-led, performance-driven culture and you’ll be collaborating with our executive team regularly in this role. Strong partnerships will depend on you building trust, leading with curiosity, and reliably delivering results.
You’ll be running hiring rounds from start to finish.
We consider this a full-lifecycle role, which means you should be comfortable with things like scheduling, building out roles in Greenhouse, and day-to-day coordination with candidates. While you might have support from more junior colleagues, you’ll be expected to capably manage your own pipelines.
What does growth look like in this role?
GiveWell’s growing, and you’re going to help shape that. Your growth will be tied directly to the impact created by the people you help hire. Beyond day-to-day recruiting, you’ll have the opportunity to work on more strategic projects, including shaping our overall hiring approach and improving our employer brand. In this role you’ll also have significant exposure to executive leadership and many corners of our business. The talent acquisition team is doubling in 2026, which means there are clear opportunities for mentorship and potentially growing into a team leader.
What does this interview process entail?
We'll use a combination of interviews, written exercises, and work trials to assess the qualities described above. Past versions have looked like:
Simulating a hiring manager intake conversation
Walking through a sourcing strategy for a hard-to-fill role
Reviewing a job description or process and offering a critique
Writing a candidate outreach email or internal communication
We'll share more specific details if we invite you to move forward, but our current plan is:
Screen with a member of the Talent Acquisition team
Career history interview with the Manager, Talent Acquisition
Work trial, which will include live conversations and written work
Values interview with VP, People
Final conversation with Manager, Talent Acquisition

Team structure
This role sits on GiveWell's People team and reports to our Manager of Talent Acquisition. Day-to-day, you'd work in close partnership with our Research Program Director, who owns senior research hiring decisions and is part of our Research Leadership Team. You'd collaborate regularly with other members of the People and Research teams on sourcing and candidate evaluation.
We'll likely also want you to attend research team meetings, develop 1:1 relationships with research team members, and potentially join research team-building retreats. We’ll be interested in ~any kind of team embedding that helps you build useful context.

About GiveWell
GiveWell is dedicated to finding and evaluating highly cost-effective global health and development opportunities, and we publish all the work, reasoning, and uncertainties behind our funding decisions. Our
giving funds
enable donors to contribute to the most impactful and cost-effective programs our researchers identify.
GiveWell is one of the world’s largest private funders of global development efforts. Trusted annually by tens of thousands of donors, GiveWell searches for highly cost-effective programs that save or improve lives the most. Since 2007, more than 150,000 donors have given over $2.6 billion through GiveWell to the most promising programs its research has identified, which we estimate will save more than
340,000 lives
.
GiveWell is most well-known for recommending a small number of
Top Charities
, which currently support
seasonal malaria chemoprevention
,
insecticide-treated nets
,
vaccine incentivization
, and
vitamin A supplementation
. However, most of our research capacity and grantmaking is devoted to
cost-effective opportunities outside of those programs
.
GiveWell
grants
have:
Helped governments
navigate changes to the funding landscape
and implement high-impact health programs, like
HIV/syphilis screening and treatment
for pregnant people in Zambia and Cameroon.
Sought to scope and scale promising interventions that don’t have clear existing implementers. We are supporting the
Clinton Health Access Initiative’s Incubator
to identify potentially cost-effective interventions and create programs that we would be excited to support in the future. For example, we
funded a program
to prevent tuberculosis among young children in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, India, that we co-designed with CHAI through the Incubator program.
Provided funding to ensure that programs that recently faced foreign aid funding cuts could continue, like
healthcare support and malnutrition treatment
in northern Cameroon.
Funded program delivery alongside strengthened monitoring and evaluation, as in our grants to support
treatment of clubfoot
and to
evaluate the program
.
Tested our
assumptions and refined our understanding
through further research and data collection, including
improved estimates of disease burden
and studies on
the effect of water chlorination on mortality
and
the impact of a tree-planting program on farmers’ income
.
We make our reasoning public and transparent so others can challenge it (sometimes we even
pay people to point out our errors
). We go to unusual lengths to check our assumptions and assess our impact, including
funding research
to address our uncertainties and gathering
independent monitoring and evaluation data
about the programs we support. We
change
our minds when the evidence demands it. For more about GiveWell, listen to Ezra Klein’s
recent interview
with GiveWell’s co-founder and CEO Elie Hassenfeld.

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
*Open to hiring remote across the west coast — we also have offices in San Francisco and Seattle
We're building a tool that makes content creation accessible for everyone, from individual creators to Fortune 500 enterprises. We're looking for people who are deeply versed in the Runway product and can take a strategic and creative view to Enterprise Support. If that's you, read on!
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage customer inquiries across email, chat, Slack, focusing on complex cases requiring human judgment
- Provide technical and creative support to enterprise customers via written communication and calls
- Investigate technical issues and create detailed bug reports that save engineering time
- QA test AI support automation for quality and accuracy
- Partner with Customer Success on enterprise implementation and adoption, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams
- Stay current on product updates by actively using Runway
- Contribute to knowledge base, documentation, and process improvements
- Identify systemic issues from ticket patterns and calls, and proactively suggest improvements and operate autonomously - you know when to escalate vs. own a problem through resolution
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Experience with a mix of video editing, content creation, creative workflows, or generative AI tools
- 3-5+ years in customer-facing technical roles (support, solutions engineering, CSM, technical account management)
- Proven track record handling enterprise customers and complex escalations
- History of working autonomously with minimal supervision
- Examples of process improvements or systems you've built
FOR YOUR APPLICATION:
During our interview process, you'll have several chances to get acquainted with the Runway product and use all the features our team has built - and that starts now! As part of your application, instead of a cover letter, we ask that you try out the Runway product, specifically build a custom workflow.
Build a Custom Runway Workflow:
1. Sign up for a free Runway account (no payment required)
2. Review these resources:
1. Tutorial https://academy.runwayml.com/workflows/using-workflows
2. Guide https://help.runwayml.com/hc/en-us/articles/45769159004691-Building-your-first-Workflows
3. Build a workflow based on your own creative idea or theme.
1. Your workflow should include at least 3 steps
2. Think about a real creative problem someone might solve with Runway
4. Submit in the application:
1. Screenshot of your completed workflow
2. Brief description (3-4 sentences): What's your creative concept? What does your workflow accomplish? Who would use this?
Note: Free accounts can build workflows but can't run them - that's fine! We want to see your ability to learn the product and think creatively about how customers might use it.
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.
