ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.

- You have experience with performance engineering (tell us a story of when you shaved off a few milliseconds!)

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

As a Senior Technical Account Manager, you’ll be a key technical leader within the Solution Success team, driving both pre-sales solution design and post-sales adoption. You’ll partner with sales, Engineering, and product teams to ensure customers realize the full business and security value of client’s Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) platform. This role is a blend of technical evangelism, architecture advisory, and customer success strategy, ideal for someone who loves shaping solutions, building trust, and driving outcomes from first demo to long-term renewal.
Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Engagement
· Collaborate with Account Executives to design and present tailored solutions, addressing each customer’s technical and business needs.
· Deliver high-impact demos, workshops, and proofs-of-concept (POCs) that demonstrate how Legit integrates with customer environments (CI/CD, SCM, cloud, etc.).
·Translate complex requirements into architectural blueprints, aligning Legit capabilities with customer workflows and security objectives.
· Serve as the technical voice in sales cycles, building confidence across security, DevOps, Dev Orgs, and executive stakeholders.
Post-Sales Solution Success
· Lead onboarding and technical enablement for new customers, ensuring rapid time to value.
· Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point, guiding best practices in secure software supply chain management.
· Partner with the customer to drive adoption, expansion, and retention, identifying opportunities for upsell and deeper integration.
· Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with technical and executive audiences, highlighting ROI, risk reduction, and next-phase initiatives.
· Advocate for customer needs with Product and Engineering, shaping roadmap priorities based on real-world insights.
· Contribute to solution playbooks, architecture diagrams, and best-practice guides used across the customer lifecycle.
·
7+ years of experience in Application Security, DevSecOps, or Software Architecture, with at least 3 years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Architect, TAM, or Sales Engineer).
· Proven ability to architect and integrate SaaS security solutions across CI/CD, SCM, and cloud environments.
· Strong familiarity with modern software development pipelines and tools (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
· Excellent communicator: able to present to both technical teams and executive stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
· Experience leading pre-sales engagements and post-sales implementation/adoption.
· Demonstrated success in building and scaling customer relationships: from onboarding through renewal and expansion.
·A self-starter mindset: thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Bonus Points
· Background in Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) or DevSecOps tools.
· Experience with solution design for enterprise SaaS in regulated industries.

Tempo is a layer-1 blockchain purpose-built for stablecoins and real-world payments, born from Stripe’s experience in global payments and Paradigm’s expertise in crypto tech.
Tempo’s payment-first design provides a scalable, low-cost predictable backbone that meets the needs of high-volume payment use cases. Our goal is to move money reliably, cheaply, and at scale. Our north star is simplicity for users: fintechs, traditional banks, merchants, platforms, and anyone else looking to move their payments into the 21st century.
We're building Tempo with design partners who are global leaders in AI, e-commerce, and financial services: Anthropic, Coupang, Deutsche Bank, DoorDash, Mercury, Nubank, OpenAI, Revolut, Shopify, Standard Chartered, Visa, and more.
We’re a team of crypto-optimists, building the infrastructure needed to bring real, substantial economic flows onchain. We like to move fast and swing for the fences — join us!
The Role
We are building a full-time internal Red Team to continuously stress-test our own infrastructure. As a security engineer, you won't just be ticking compliance boxes; you will be writing Rust fuzzers, simulating economic attacks on our testnet, and dissecting the EVM to find edge cases in our execution client. We are looking for a builder who understands that the best way to secure a protocol is to try to break it continuously. If you have a history of topping CTF leaderboards, submitting high-severity bug bounties, or building your own security tooling because the standard ones weren't good enough—this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Proactively hunt for vulnerabilities in the Tempo protocol, consensus engine, and bridge architecture, treating our mainnet like a continuous CTF challenge.
- Design and implement security tooling and automation in liaison with the Foundry team to catch logic errors and edge cases.
- Partner with engineering teams to review critical architecture across our codebase.
- Analyze incentives and game-theoretic risks within the protocol, such as MEV and staking dynamics, to prevent economic exploits.
Qualifications
- Fluency in reading and writing production-level code in systems languages, with a strong preference for Rust.
- Deep expertise in EVM internals, including intimate knowledge of opcodes, storage slots, gas metering, and precompiles.
- Proven track record of offensive security, such as high rankings in CTFs (e.g., Paradigm CTF), high-severity bug bounty submissions, or published research.
- Experience building custom security automation or tooling rather than relying solely on off-the-shelf scanners.
- Bleeding-edge knowledge of the latest blockchain security research, including recent hacks and how these could have been mitigated.
Attributes
- High motor
- Razor-sharp thinker with precise command of language
- Concise, evidence-based communicator
- Excellent organizational and logistical skills
- Intense curiosity and open-mindedness
- Scrappiness; willingness to roll up sleeves
- Growth mindset
