About Finom
Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.
We recently closed a €115 million Series C equity round (around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.
Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
At Finom, we’re not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we’re empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole.
Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
About the Role
Product decisions at Finom are made fast, and we want them made on evidence. You join the Growth & Activation product stream as its analyst, working with PMs and engineers on how new customers discover the product, start using it, and grow with it.
There is no established way of doing product analytics here yet, so you define it: how experiments are designed, how metrics are named and counted, what a readout looks like. You come with your own approach rather than waiting for one to be handed to you.
What you'll do
Work with the product managers and other stakeholders in the stream. Agree priorities with them, and look for the problems worth solving instead of waiting for a request to arrive.
Bring recommendations to the business, including opportunities it does not see on its own.
Define the metrics for the stream: what activation means, what we expect from the funnel, how each number is counted, and how it stays consistent with the way the rest of the company counts the same things.
Design the tests. Hypothesis, primary metric, audience split, duration, and how the result gets read once it lands.
Automate that work, so running a test is routine and not a small project every time.
Build the infrastructure for testing at scale, with external tools or our own, so a testing culture can spread across the product teams.
What you bring
Product analytics done end to end, with decisions that changed the roadmap behind it.
Fluent in SQL, confident in Python, and solid on experimentation and causal methods/
You have chosen or built tooling for tests and metrics before.
You use AI tools in your daily work, not occasionally.
A partner to stakeholders rather than a person who executes tickets.
Proactive, you bring the problems and the hypotheses yourself.
You take an ambiguous problem, structure it, and explain your reasoning to product and business people.
English at C1 or above
Nice to have
Product analytics built from scratch
Experience where conversion volumes are low: B2B, long sales cycles, small samples.
What You Will Get In Return
Make a genuine impact on the product
Join our upward trajectory, and grow with us. We provide the resources and opportunities for continuous personal and professional development, empowering you to make a genuine impact on our evolving product.
Work in the EU
Embark on this exciting journey with us and enjoy the flexibility of traveling and working remotely or in a hybrid model across Europe.
Become a stock options holder
Unlock your inner entrepreneur and align your aspirations with ours through our Stock Options Program. This exciting opportunity is available to every team member, from junior team members to our founders.
Receive unwavering support and care
Finom stands by you at every step, embodying our commitment to your well-being and success reflected in our modern, friendly, and eco-conscious corporate culture. We offer constant support and care to ensure your Finom experience is successful and fulfilling.
Work & Swim program

Equal Opportunity Statement

- Collaborate on product strategy – Bring GTM perspective into Product decisions around launch readiness, pricing, packaging, and roadmap prioritization. Influence what gets built based on market opportunity
- Gather and apply customer intelligence – Partner with our dedicated market intelligence team to stay ahead of customer needs, competitive moves, and emerging use cases. Surface opportunities and threats back to product
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
- You want full ownership – Blank slate, you make the call, you move and adjust based on what works. You're the strategic leader for how the market understands this product
- You've shipped at senior level in B2B SaaS – 10+ years in the industry, 6+ in product marketing leadership at B2B companies. You've led positioning for flagship products and shaped how markets understood them
- You can write with conviction – Positioning, messaging, strategy docs, decks. You have a sharp point of view and can defend it in a room with skeptics
- You understand the sales cycle – You know what sales needs to close deals and you've built enablement tools people actually use
- You ship at 60–70% – You know the difference between perfect and useful. You get something to 60–70%, hand it off for refinement, keep moving
- You move with the product – Priorities shift, markets move, you stay focused and adapt the narrative
- You've moved the needle – Real launches that drove sales velocity, customer adoption, expansion, and how the market understood a product category

Tickmill is looking to hire a
Senior AI/ML Engineer (AI Lead)
to join our rapidly expanding team. The ideal candidate will be a highly hands-on and business-oriented professional, capable of designing and delivering production-grade AI systems that drive measurable business impact.

What does the role look like?
The Senior AI/ML Engineer (AI Lead) will have the chance to:
• Design, develop, and productionise machine learning models end-to-end (training, validation, deployment, monitoring, retraining), ensuring reliability in real-world environments.
• Lead the development of AI use cases such as client lifetime value (CLV), churn prediction, and fraud/abuse detection, with clear alignment to business outcomes and measurable impact.
• Build and establish robust MLOps practices, including model deployment pipelines, CI/CD, environment promotion (dev/stage/prod), and lifecycle management.
• Implement model monitoring frameworks to track performance, data drift, data quality, and business impact, with clear retraining and escalation strategies.
• Ensure model explainability and transparency using techniques such as SHAP, feature attribution, and other interpretability methods appropriate for business-critical and regulated contexts.
• Define and enforce best practices around model governance, documentation, versioning, and auditability, proportional to model risk and business impact.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering to ensure high-quality data pipelines, feature engineering, reproducibility, and scalable data foundations.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Risk, Commercial, and other stakeholders to translate business problems into pragmatic AI solutions, balancing speed and robustness.
• Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops, monitoring insights, and model retraining strategies, rather than one-off model delivery.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in production AI, MLOps, and applied machine learning delivery.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
• 5–8+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments (not just experimentation).
• Strong Python programming skills and solid software engineering fundamentals (testing, code quality, modular design, maintainability).
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, model evaluation, feature engineering, and practical considerations in production systems (e.g. data leakage, drift, stability).
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing (Spark / PySpark).
• Experience with ML lifecycle tools (MLflow or similar) for experiment tracking, model management, and reproducibility.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred) for ML or data workflows.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets in real-world environments.
• Proven ability to deliver AI/ML solutions with measurable business impact, not just model performance improvements.
• Experience working with model deployment, monitoring, drift detection, and retraining strategies in production systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating trade-offs clearly.
• Ability to operate effectively in environments with evolving requirements, imperfect data, and delivery pressure, balancing MVP speed with production robustness.
The below are considered as a plus:
• Experience in fintech, trading, or financial services environments, particularly where models influence business-critical decisions.
• Experience with real-time or streaming ML systems.
• Familiarity with modern AI approaches such as LLMs, embeddings, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), particularly where applied to business workflows or integrated with structured data.
• Experience working in regulated environments and implementing model governance frameworks (e.g. auditability, explainability, approvals, documentation standards).
• Experience contributing to team standards, mentoring, or leading applied AI delivery.
