ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We're hiring the first Account Managers at Modal. You'll report to the Regional Director of Account Management and be a founding member of the team.
This function does not exist yet. There is no playbook, no territory map, no established motion. You'll own a book of business from day one and build the motion at the same time — from fast-moving AI startups to large enterprise teams running critical infrastructure on Modal.
This is a commercial role with a revenue target. You'll be measured on retention and expansion across your accounts. While you won't be delivering the technical recommendations and implementation, the work is technical by nature. Our customers are engineers running GPU workloads, inference, and batch jobs in production, and you need to hold your own in those conversations.
The profile we're hiring is a technical account manager. You've worked at companies that are deeply technical and consumption in nature. You bring the commercial instincts to grow revenue from an existing base and enough technical depth to know which conversation actually matters. And you can credibly work with a CxO all the way down to a Developer.
WHAT THE ROLE IS:
- A founding seat. You're helping build the AM function with us, not joining one that already runs. The account plans, expansion motions, and customer cadence you and the rest of the founding team figure out are what we scale to every AM we hire after you.
- A technical customer-facing role. You'll work directly with Developers and ML teams on what they're building and how Modal fits. You translate and triage the deeper technical work to FDEs and Product when it's needed.
- A book of business. You’ll own a set of accounts and be responsible for the revenue that comes from them. Expect to be meeting with customers in your first few days because the best playbooks are built from real experiences.
WHAT THE ROLE IS NOT:
- A traditional post-sales role. You're measured on revenue, not health scores.
- An on-call support function. You're not fixing bugs or triaging tickets. You're driving growth.
- A technical delivery role. You're not implementing for the customer. You know where the technical work goes and you pull in the right people.
- An inherited motion. Nothing is handed to you. If you identify gaps in process, tooling, or a playbook — you help build it.
- A single-lane job. Our priorities go customer → company → team → me. We focus on delivering maximum impact vs. "this is my job".
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Build Modal's account management function and iterate on it as we scale the business
- Own and deliver on a revenue target across your book of accounts
- Grow an account's first use case, expand into a second, and drive standardization across the Modal platform
- Get fluent enough in Modal to hold your own with engineering teams on their workloads, and know when to pull in FDEs, Support, or Product
- Work with Sales, Solutions Architects, FDEs, Support, and Product to grow accounts and feed customer signal back into the roadmap
- Travel to customers as needed to support key accounts and drive expansion opportunities
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Customer-facing experience. You've owned a revenue target or supported a revenue target in a highly technical, consumption business.
- Technical depth. You work autonomously with Developers through CxOs and understand the core parts of the developer tech stack.
- AI builder. You're hands on building with AI tools — not just consuming workflows that were built for you.
- Ownership. You run your book of business and projects like you're the CEO of it. You're highly organized bringing stability, predictability, and pace to your work. You take action vs. waiting for direction.
- Learning velocity. You operate with the mindset of what I can do today vs. let me pick this up tomorrow. You move fast, take the learnings, and iterate on it.
- Cross-functional partner. Low ego, easy to work with, and highly accountable. You ask for feedback, you act on it, and you'd rather be corrected early than right late. Internal teams love working with you.
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience as a Technical Account Manager, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or similar type role
- Certification as an engineer (ex. Computer Science Degree, Professional Bootcamps)
- Early GTM hire experience at a fast-growing startup
- You've sat close to GPU spend, model training, or inference workloads

Introduction to the Team & Role
What if your team was the one that got to build the future of how a company runs — and tried it on itself first?
GTM Systems owns the tech stack behind 360Learning's commercial engine — Salesforce, Marketo, data enrichment and AI tooling across sales, marketing, customer success and services. Our mission is to be a force multiplier for the business: making go-to-market faster, smarter and more effective.
We already have a high-performing team, mature systems, extensive documentation, and an ambitious AI vision. Now we need someone to build on that foundation and take it to the next level.
You'll work closely with GTM leaders, operators, data teams and engineering to turn ambiguous business problems into reliable, scalable products. You'll partner with each team to define the target state — where AI can take work off their plate, and where the human touch matters — then build the systems and agents that get them there.
This is a high-impact role for someone who loves working at the intersection of product, systems, AI and go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibility Areas
Own the internal AI operating model for GTM — the library of skills, agent evals, cost, adoption and ROI — in partnership with Data and Enablement.
Keep the team a step ahead as customer zero for AI, turning what works into patterns other functions adopt.
Own the long-term design of the GTM stack — CRM, marketing automation, CS tooling — deciding what to build vs. buy.
Help the company prioritize by identifying the best solution to each business problem and sizing its cost and feasibility.
Lead and coach five senior ICs across Salesforce, marketing/BDR, CS systems and web ops. Set a high bar for documentation, testing and deployment — and hold it without slowing the team down.
Run vendor management end to end: evaluations, the quarterly keep-or-kill review, and renewals.
Partner as a peer to the leaders of Data, Enablement, Security, Finance and every commercial function.
Drive adoption and change management for new GTM capabilities across distributed teams.
What You'll Do
Within 1 month, you will:
Know the team, the stack, and the cross-functional leaders and teams you’ll partner with
Understand the main business challenges and opportunities for each GTM function
Own the team's current quarterly objectives and the routines that keep them visible.
Within 3 months, you will:
Have taken one major cross-functional change from plan to done
Own the full vendor-renewal cycle across the commercial stack
Have co-written the next quarter's objectives with the performance and enablement teams, each one stating the business problem, the current state, the expected impact and the plan.
Within 6 months, you will:
Have co-written the next quarter's objectives with the performance and enablement teams, each one stating the business problem, the current state, the expected impact and the plan.
Have shipped at least one AI agent that watches business data and reaches people on its own, with a named business owner and outcome measures agreed before launch.
Have a 12-18 month roadmap, setting the high-level vision across our systems infrastructure, ways of working, and AI portfolio
Within 12 months, you will:
Show, in numbers, the capacity the commercial organization reinvested because of what the team built.
Have a development path agreed with each member of the team.
Have the team recognized as the company's reference for AI-native operations
The Skill Set
5+ years across GTM systems, agentic/AI workflow products, revenue technology, enterprise SaaS — or an adjacent path like technical product management or consulting where you designed and shipped real systems with a strong AI mandate.
Turn ambiguous business problems into reliable, scalable tooling — you read a process, tell whether it's any good, spot where AI creates value, and judge when to automate (and when not to), across the full revenue engine.
Have fluency in modern GTM systems: Salesforce, marketing automation, enrichment, routing, attribution, lead-to-quote, billing or customer lifecycle tools. Deep Salesforce fluency is a strong plus.
Have built with modern AI tooling: agents, plugins or skills on top of LLMs, connectors to business systems, and evals that tell you whether an agent is good.
You define KPIs, run experiments, and use data to prioritize where to invest and to measure real impact on pipeline, conversion, efficiency and revenue.
You drive strategic alignment and executive communication — conclusion first, tradeoffs named, complex topics made simple — and you drive change through to adoption.
Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where the first version of the strategy has to be shaped, tested and improved quickly.
Run vendor evaluations end to end
Set and hold standards for documentation, testing and deployment without slowing the team down, and coach senior ICs with care.

Headquartered in Boston, MA, with a global team and a large ecosystem of partners, Creatio serves thousands of customers in over 100 countries and automates tens of millions of workflows daily. Genuine care for our clients and partners is at the heart of our DNA.
We’re proud to be recognized by top industry analysts as a Leader and Strong Performer in multiple Gartner and Forrester reports.
In 2025, Creatio was named to Inc.’s Best Workplaces list, recognizing our commitment to employee wellbeing and a strong workplace culture.
Who We’re Looking For
Technical Advisor
to join our Global Customer Support Division. In this role, you will support enterprise customers in the successful operation, optimization, and strategic use of the Creatio platform with a focus on the MEA/America/Europe region.
You will act as the primary technical point of contact, developing a deep understanding of each customer’s architecture, business objectives, and system configuration. Combining strong troubleshooting expertise with a proactive, advisory approach, you will provide guidance, preventive monitoring, and technical consultations to ensure platform stability, maximize value, and support long-term customer success.
Responsibilities
Technical Account Ownership: Be the dedicated technical contact for assigned enterprise accounts. Ensure full visibility and ownership over all technical matters, escalations, and platform usage challenges.
Escalation Case Management: Collaborate closely with Support, Product, and RCD teams to resolve and manage critical incidents, coordinate escalations, and ensure SLA compliance for technical cases.
Proactive Monitoring and Risk Prevention: Continuously monitor system performance and health. Identify potential risks, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate them before they impact the customer.
Platform Enablement Consulting: Guide customers on platform best practices, new feature enablement, system architecture, and performance optimization. Deliver tailored recommendations that align with their business roadmap.
Strategic Engagement Advocacy: Participate in QBRs and strategic reviews. Provide feedback to internal teams based on customer needs. Influence roadmap decisions through structured customer insights.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in enterprise technical support, professional services, or TAM/TA roles (preferably in B2B SaaS).
Experience with the Creatio platform or similar low-code/no-code solutions, as well as CRM systems or SaaS platforms, is considered a plus.
Hands-on experience with APIs, integrations, SQL (as a language), cloud infrastructure (IIS server, Redis server, SQL server), and performance tuning (monitoring tools e.g. Grafana, Zabbix).
Experience in managing technical relationships with enterprise customers.
Ability to lead technical workshops, explain complex ideas clearly, and influence outcomes.
Advanced English.
Proactive, customer-first mindset with strong ownership culture.
Professional competencies
Platform architecture configuration: Strong understanding of platform architecture, system capabilities, deployment models (cloud/on-prem), and integrations within CRM or enterprise SaaS environments
Technical troubleshooting diagnostic skills: Strong analytical mindset for investigating system issues, performance degradation, and cross-component dependencies.
Preventive support mindset: Ability to proactively detect trends and prevent escalations using monitoring tools, AI alerts, and system logs.
Communication stakeholder engagement: Capable of translating complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders. Skilled in managing executive relationships.
Collaboration cross-functional influence: Experienced in working alongside support, customer success, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Process and automation orientation: Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service enablement practices to improve scalability and efficiency.
What you should expect from us
