WHOOP is seeking a Retail Experience Design Specialist I to help bring the WHOOP brand and product experience to life across physical retail environments. As a member of the Retail team, you will support the design and development of engaging, functional, and distinctly WHOOP spaces that introduce consumers to our products and create memorable brand experiences.
In this role, you will apply your architectural training and design skills to help translate creative concepts into thoughtful physical environments. You will work cross-functionally with Retail, Brand, Creative, Operations, and other partners throughout the design process—from early concepts and spatial planning through design development, documentation, production, and installation.
The ideal candidate is a recent Master of Architecture graduate with strong spatial and visual design skills, a high level of attention to detail, and an interest in applying an architectural design background to retail and experiential environments. You are curious, collaborative, comfortable working through ambiguity, and excited to develop your craft in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the design and development of WHOOP retail environments, including stores, shop-in-shops, pop-ups, fixtures, displays, merchandising elements, signage, and other physical brand touchpoints.
- Translate WHOOP brand principles and creative concepts into compelling spatial experiences that balance aesthetics, functionality, product storytelling, and the customer journey.
- Develop architectural and spatial design concepts through sketches, plans, elevations, 3D models, renderings, material studies, and presentations.
- Support space planning and layout development, considering customer flow, product interaction, merchandising, accessibility, and operational requirements.
- Create and maintain design documentation that clearly communicates design intent to internal stakeholders, vendors, fabricators, and other external partners.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across Retail, Brand, Creative, and Operations to understand project requirements and translate business and customer needs into physical design solutions.
- Participate throughout the design process, from early concept development and design iteration through production, installation, and launch.
- Assist in the research and selection of materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, signage, and other environmental elements appropriate for WHOOP retail experiences.
- Support prototype development and design reviews, incorporating feedback and helping refine solutions based on feasibility, cost, schedule, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with vendors, fabricators, and external partners to communicate design requirements, review samples and prototypes, and help ensure final executions align with design intent and WHOOP quality standards.
- Help develop and maintain retail design standards, guidelines, templates, and documentation that create a consistent WHOOP experience across different locations and formats.
- Stay informed on trends and innovations across architecture, retail, experiential design, materials, fabrication, and consumer environments, bringing relevant ideas and inspiration back to the team.
- Manage multiple projects and design deliverables simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally to support site visits, installations, retail openings, vendors, and project partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master of Architecture (M.Arch) degree or BArch (Professional) required.
- 0–2 years of professional, internship, or relevant project experience in architecture, retail design, experiential design, environmental design, or a related discipline.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong architectural and design thinking, spatial problem-solving, visual communication, and an ability to translate concepts into compelling physical environments.
- Strong understanding of architectural design fundamentals, including space planning, scale, proportion, circulation, materials, and detailing.
- Proficiency with architectural design and 3D modeling, including Rhino; visualization tools, including KeyShot and Enscape; and presentation tools, including Figma. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop.
- Ability to develop and communicate ideas through sketches, plans, elevations, diagrams, 3D models, renderings, and presentations.
- Strong visual sensibility and understanding of how materials, color, lighting, graphics, product, and architecture work together to create a cohesive physical experience.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, thoughtful, and high-quality design work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design ideas and rationale to a variety of audiences.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across creative, operational, and technical teams and incorporate feedback into the design process.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Self-motivated, curious, and comfortable learning quickly and operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for architecture, retail and experiential design, consumer experiences, and the intersection of physical space, technology, fitness, and wellness.
- Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

Recraft is a graphic design research lab building state-of-the-art image generation models and tools for designers, illustrators, marketers, and developers.
Founded in 2022 and based in London, we build for commercial design standards: full creative control, style consistency, and native vector outputs, an API for teams who want to integrate that capability directly into their workflows, plus mobile app for those who prefer not to be distracted from the process without a computer.
Over 3 million creators across 190+ countries use Recraft. Our mission is to help everyone who works with visuals get the job done, without lowering the bar on design.
If you want to help set that standard, we'd like to hear from you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Most AI companies sound the same. We'd rather not.
We're looking for a copywriter who understands design from the inside: someone who has designed, or still does, and writes like a person with opinions, not a model with a prompt. You'll own how Recraft sounds, from the tone of voice guidelines down to the label on a button.
This role is for someone who uses the product every day, knows what designers actually need, and can turn a model release into a story worth reading. It isn't a content calendar to fill.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shape our tone of voice. Develop and evolve Recraft's voice guidelines, and make sure the brand sounds like itself in every channel.
- Write the launches. Write social posts, release announcements, and launch copy for new models and features across X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Discord.
- Write for the camera. Write scripts and copy for motion videos, tutorials, interviews, and other storytelling formats.
- Join creative launches. Contribute to special projects and campaigns, with your focus on the words.
- Run the blog with search in mind. Write and edit SEO articles that rank and are still worth reading.
- Write inside the product. Work with product and design on UX copy in Recraft Studio: onboarding, empty states, tooltips, and feature descriptions.
- Name things. Help name new models, features, and products, and write the copy that introduces them.
- Use Recraft Studio. A lot. Test new models before they ship, find what's interesting, and write from first-hand experience.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll report to Head of Content and work as part of Creative Team. Day to day, you'll work closely with design, product, and the researchers who build our models, so you'll hear about releases early and in detail.
REQUIREMENTS
- A design background (graphic, brand, type, UI, or editorial) with writing as your main craft. Or you're a writer who has spent years working closely with designers and speaks fluent design. Content creators, social media writers, and brand or blog writers who've built a recognizable voice for a brand or for themselves are equally welcome.
- Excellent written English (C2 or equivalent): writing that's natural, idiomatic, and ready to publish. Plus a voice of your own.
- Work you can show: published articles, a blog or newsletter, social accounts you've run, or product copy you've shipped.
- Range. You can go from a launch post to a 2,000-word article to a button label without losing the voice.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools. You use them regularly, and your writing still doesn't sound like them.
- Curiosity about the design world: what designers are making, arguing about, and struggling with.
NICE TO HAVE
- A personal blog, newsletter, or Substack about design, type, visual culture, or AI
- SEO writing experience
- UX writing or content design experience
- Naming experience
- Scriptwriting for video or motion
- Experience at a design tool, creative tech company, or design studio
WHAT WE OFFER
- Ownership of the voice of a product that designers use every day
- Close work with design, product, and the people who build our models
- Room to experiment with formats, channels, and ideas
- A competitive salary, with bonus potential tied to your performance review.
- A team that means it when it says it wants to build the best product in the category: people who give each other direct, useful feedback, share context openly, and step in to help without being asked.

Why Sony Interactive Entertainment?
Sony Interactive Entertainment isn’t just the Best Place to Play — it’s also the Best Place to Work. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is the company behind the PlayStation brand. As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.
About GDFT
Gaming, Developer, and Future Technology (GDFT) are the technology specialists at PlayStation. We build the underlying systems that power core platform capabilities and developer tools. Our mission is to enable world-class gaming experiences by delivering low-level, high-performance technology for PlayStation platforms.
The Role
We are looking for an engineer to join the GDFT department, working on the design and optimisation of PlayStation’s real-time game streaming technologies.
You will contribute to the development of low-latency video streaming systems across current and future PlayStation platforms, working on performance-critical areas spanning frame capture, media pipelines, codec configuration, system services and streaming transport.
The role is particularly suited to engineers with a strong C/C++ background and experience working with native video or media systems, including embedded devices, TV firmware, set-top boxes, consoles, or similar.
Our work sits at the intersection of product engineering and R&D. Alongside delivering production technology, engineers are encouraged to investigate new approaches to reducing end-to-end latency, improving visual quality and reducing bitrate, using measurement and experimentation to determine where meaningful improvements can be made.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop, optimise and maintain low-level C and C++ components within PlayStation’s game streaming stack.
Investigate opportunities to reduce end-to-end streaming latency across frame capture, buffering, encoding, transport, decoding and presentation.
Optimise the use and configuration of hardware video encoders, applying knowledge of codec behaviour and low-latency encoding techniques.
Analyse existing media pipelines to identify unnecessary buffering, memory copies, synchronisation delays and other sources of latency.
Use software and hardware instrumentation to measure system behaviour, validate hypotheses and quantify the impact of performance changes.
Investigate and debug issues across user-space applications, system services and daemon-level components.
Prototype and evaluate new approaches to improving streaming quality, latency and bandwidth efficiency.
Work with engineers and researchers across the wider organisation on areas such as codec development, rate control, Forward Error Correction and emerging media technologies.
Contribute technical findings and recommendations to design discussions, working with senior engineers to determine appropriate production solutions.
Collaborate across teams to integrate and validate streaming technologies within PlayStation platform software.
Attend periodic in-person workshops or team events, with travel possible a few times per year.
What We Are Looking For
This is a mid-level opportunity. You should bring some of the following skills and experience:
Strong proficiency in C and C++.
Experience developing native, performance-sensitive software rather than primarily web or managed application stacks.
Experience working with real-time video, media pipelines, codecs or embedded multimedia systems.
Practical understanding of video compression and media formats, including concepts such as chroma subsampling, bit depth and colour representation, with familiarity of codecs such as AVC, HEVC or AV1.
Understanding of concepts relevant to low-latency video encoding, which may include GOP structures, reference frames, rate control, VBV, quantisation parameters, slices, tiles or hardware codec APIs.
Strong debugging, profiling and performance-analysis skills.
An ability to investigate complex technical problems, identify likely causes and use evidence and instrumentation to support conclusions.
Comfortable working in unfamiliar parts of a large system and developing an understanding of how multiple components interact.
An experimental mindset, with an interest in prototyping, measuring and evaluating alternative technical approaches.
Ability to contribute to technical discussions and work with senior engineers when deciding how findings should be taken forward.
Highly Desirable Skills:
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous; we do not expect candidates to have experience across all of them:
Familiarity with techniques for evaluating video codec performance, including bitrate/quality/latency trade-offs and objective or perceptual video quality metrics (such as PSNR and VMAF).
Familiarity with compressed video bitstreams and codec signalling, such as NAL units/OBUs, parameter sets, profiles/levels and supplemental enhancement information.
Experience developing native video players, media frameworks or codec pipelines on TVs, set-top boxes, consoles, mobile devices or other embedded platforms.
Experience configuring or integrating hardware video encoders or decoders.
Deeper knowledge of H.264, HEVC, AV1 or other current and emerging video codecs, beyond high-level API configuration, such as reference structures, rate-control behaviour, bitstream structure or encoder-specific optimisation.
Experience optimising real-time video for low latency, visual quality or bitrate efficiency.
Familiarity with frame capture, graphics presentation pipelines, framebuffers or GPU/CPU synchronisation.
Experience identifying and reducing memory copies, queueing delays, memory-bandwidth limitations or other system-level performance bottlenecks.
Experience working with system services, daemons, firmware interfaces or other low-level platform components.
Familiarity with techniques such as content-aware encoding, region-of-interest encoding, adaptive resolution or frame rate, alternative reference-frame strategies or similar streaming optimisations.
Experience with Forward Error Correction or other techniques for improving the resilience of real-time media.
Experience with SIMD, vectorisation, cache optimisation or multithreaded performance tuning with instrumentation.
Experience with console or embedded systems development environments.
Experience with Git, Jenkins or similar CI/CD workflows.
Why Work in GDFT
Focused on platform-wide technology development
Room to explore and innovate within performance-critical system areas
Work on cross-regional collaborative projects
Flexible and relaxed working environment, with strong support for hybrid work
Opportunities for extensive professional development, technical conference attendance, and participation in internal hackathons
Please note, Sony Interactive Entertainment conducts background checks at the offer stage for all new employees (which may include criminal background checks for some roles) and will need to process personal information to support these checks.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

Location:
This role is fully remote but must overlap with an East Africa timezone by at least 3 hours.
We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas in the U.S. or U.K. at this time.
About this role
Individual Giving has set an objective to double new donor acquisition in 2027 and expand our awareness through brand ads for key segments. Paid media is the biggest lever we have to get there, and as Growth Manager, Paid Media, you'll own delivery of this important priority. To help get us there, GiveDirectly is planning to expand its spend on paid media.
We are looking for someone who will be a strong cultural fit—curious, keen not to follow industry standards but to look for disproportionately high-leverage opportunities, keen to constantly learn and adjust, and comfortable launching a paid program without agency support. This role would suit someone comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to pivot and change tactics based on data and changing circumstances.
Reporting to our Director of Individual Giving, you’ll manage all paid acquisition for Individual Giving across Meta, Google, YouTube, and TikTok, and also work closely with the VP of Marketing to manage all upper-funnel media buys (e.g., newsletters, podcasts, etc.) for both the Individual Giving and Marketing teams. This role is responsible for executing our paid media program end to end, including negotiating and managing contracts, creating ads, capturing screenshots for documentation, publishing campaigns, and monitoring performance. You will also build our tracking and attribution systems and use that data to grow both one-time and monthly giving. To do so, we are looking for a strong individual contributor who is comfortable executing within the platforms without a big team or agency.
The Individual Giving team is responsible for generating revenue across donors with an annual gift below $50k. To do so, the Individual Giving team executes compelling public fundraising campaigns, drives creative donor-facing content, and tests new marketing initiatives aimed at expanding our donor base and raising awareness of direct cash transfers. You’ll join a small but high-performing team that runs several campaigns at once and works with a lot of independence. You’ll partner with Brand and Marketing colleagues each campaign cycle to ensure integrated marketing across all public-facing materials.
Level:
Manager (we are willing to hire at Senior Manager for more experienced candidates)
Reports To:
Director of Individual Giving
Travel Requirement:
Must be able to travel ~1–2 times per year to one of our countries of operation for team retreats or field visits
What you’ll bring:
3–5+ years in growth or performance marketing with a proven track record running paid media to a conversion or revenue target, in-house or agency, across Meta, Google, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Non-profit experience is a plus, but not required.
Experience managing a paid media budget of at least US$5M a year with a track record of strong performance measurement, with the discipline to trust your own data over platform recommendations and the judgment to know when to scale a channel, cut it, or admit it isn't working—pause and reset.
A genuine test-and-learn habit: you design multivariable testing across creative, audience, messaging, and landing pages, using these insights to scale the program.
Strong written communication, the ability to own creative direction of ads (from conception and drafting through launch), and experience with or a strong eye for graphic design (Figma, Canva). You’ll work with content creation teams for bigger projects, but initial ideation and direction should come from you.
Strong, succinct communication, and the ability to work productively with a Brand and Marketing team focused on brand awareness.
Alignment with
GiveDirectly’s values
and active demonstration of our core competencies: emotional intelligence, problem solving, project management, follow-through, and fostering inclusivity.
Experience with tracking and attribution to ensure detailed reports are shared with senior management.
Bonus skills:
Experience with our tech stack (WordPress, Salesforce, PostHog, Google Analytics, Tableau, Zendesk, Ahrefs) or similar tools.
Experience with paid ads with a non-profit of a similar size or an agency supporting non-profits.
What you’ll do
Own paid media strategy and performance to execute growth and brand goals
Develop and execute the paid digital fundraising strategy that acquires new donors, grows revenue, and strengthens long-term supporter value across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, programmatic, and emerging platforms (approx. 50% of time).
Run top-of-funnel brand ads, from placement and contracting to creative direction and development, including podcasts, OOH, and connected TV (approx. 30% of time).
Manage and optimize paid investment daily, monitoring spend, pacing, cost per acquisition, and conversion, and reallocating budget as performance dictates.
Run a continuous test-and-learn program across audiences, creative messaging, channels, landing pages, and donation experiences, and turn results into decisions rather than reports.
Make key and strategic recommendations to the Director of Individual Giving and VP of Marketing on where budget spend should be allocated based on performance data.
Grow one-time and monthly giving through paid
Run acquisition and conversion campaigns for both one-time and monthly giving, testing paid tactics to grow the recurring program—the fastest-growing part of our portfolio.
Optimize the digital supporter journey so paid campaigns connect cleanly to landing pages, donation forms, email, and CRM, maximizing conversion and retention.
Analyze acquisition, conversion, revenue, and retention trends by segment to inform where the next dollar goes.
Measurement & Reporting
Stand up standardized paid-channel attribution and UTM tracking so acquisition spend is evaluable outside the ad platforms.
Build and maintain performance dashboards that connect campaign, website, and CRM data into a single view of what each channel returns.
Develop a forecasting model that projects cost per acquisition and revenue by channel, so budget increases are decisions rather than bets.
Report to senior management on budget and paid campaign performance on a bi-weekly basis.
This role might not be for you if
You are used to relying on an agency for recommendations or ad builds in the platforms themselves.
You do not have experience/familiarity with both upper-funnel and direct conversion paid advertising.
You are not comfortable managing projects from A–Z, including ideation, planning, launching, testing, iterating, and evaluating.
What success looks like in 12–18 months
A clear, measurable contribution to the 2027 goal of doubling new donor acquisition, with a 50–70% share of new monthly donors acquired through paid.
The Google Ad Grant is fully deployed against upper-funnel objectives, in compliance, and contributing measurable qualified traffic.
A documented acquisition model forecasts cost per acquisition and revenue by channel accurately enough to justify a materially larger paid budget.

ABOUT VOODOO
Voodoo is a consumer tech company founded in Paris in 2013, with one mission: entertain the world. Today we are 1,000 people, generating $1b+ in annual revenue, profitably. Our games and apps have passed 7 billion downloads and reach 200 million+ active users every month, making Voodoo the #3 mobile publisher worldwide in downloads, after Google and Meta. We were backed by Goldman Sachs, Tencent and GBL along the way.
TEAM
Our Gaming team is made up of hybrid-casual, casual and mid-core experts. Our 'Core' games team supports internal and external studios worldwide in creating, developing and launching new hit games, whilst our 'Live' games team focuses on delivering higher engagement on our existing and successful games.
You'll join the Portfolio Games Team (PGT) within Live: a small, tech-first and AI-first team that manages and grows a catalogue of 40+ live mobile games played by millions of users worldwide, with many more titles being onboarded. We own the full lifecycle, from game health monitoring and A/B testing to ASO, release management and live operations.
To do this at portfolio scale we are building Sophia, our in-house AI agent that already manages games, runs A/B tests and automates store work across dozens of games. Our goal is simple: take humans out of the repetitive loop so the team can focus on making the product better.
ROLE
We are looking for a freelance Technical Artist to bridge art and engineering in an AI-first studio. Our development side already moves fast with Sophia; art production is now the bottleneck. Your mission is to set up the conventions, tools and pipelines that let AI generate, check and integrate 2D and 3D assets across our portfolio with minimal human intervention. By Q1 2027 we want Sophia running full art and 3D flows end to end, and you will be key to getting there.
You will work day to day with our dev lead and the engineer who owns our AI/Figma/Unity art workflows, and with the art team.
- Define art conventions and standards (naming, structure, layout rules for UI, banners and store assets) so that assets can be produced and validated automatically, not hand-polished one by one
- Build tools and scripts in art software (Maya, plus Photoshop/Illustrator where useful) that check and fix assets automatically, e.g. validating that 3D meshes are watertight, within poly budgets and correctly set up, so an AI agent can run them as part of a pipeline
- Optimise 3D models and meshes (topology, polygon count, UVs, LODs) and textures (compression, sizes, atlases) for mobile, without sacrificing visual quality
- Own the Unity import pipeline: import settings, asset post-processors and automation so assets land in our games correctly and consistently
- Integrate AI generation tools (image, 3D, animation) into production workflows and evaluate new ones as they appear
- Help scale animated assets (e.g. animated store banners and promo visuals) across many games through templates and automation rather than manual work
- Debug and fix graphical and performance issues across mobile devices; support shaders, VFX and particles where needed
- Document everything so the pipelines keep running and improving after setup
PROFILE
- 5+ years as a Technical Artist, ideally in mobile games
- Hands-on experience using AI in art production (e.g. Scenario, Flux, 3D generation tools, ComfyUI or similar), and a mindset of automating rather than perfecting by hand
- Strong understanding of 3D models and meshes and how to optimise them; you don't need to be a 3D modeller, but you know what makes a mesh production-ready
- Strong Unity skills: asset import and optimisation, C# scripting for editor tools; Shader Graph/HLSL, VFX and particles are a plus
- Experience building tooling for art software, in particular Maya (Python and/or MEL)
- Solid grounding in Photoshop and Illustrator: the "art" in technical art matters to us
- Good understanding of mobile constraints (performance, memory, draw calls, batching)
- Autonomous, pragmatic and deadline-driven: you know when an asset is good enough and move on
- Fluent written and spoken English
NICE TO HAVE
- Python scripting outside art tools (pipelines, batch processing, APIs)
- Experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) and LLM-based agents
- Figma, and experience with UI/store assets for mobile games (ASO)
- Substance or similar texturing tools; GPU profiling
