We’re looking for an experienced, event-led demand generation marketer to join our APAC team. Based in Australia, this role will lead the planning and delivery of high-impact events and integrated demand generation campaigns across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
Reporting to the APAC Marketing Director, you will own the end-to-end execution of key marketing programmes—from event strategy and audience acquisition to on-site experiences, post-event follow-up and pipeline impact. You will bring events to life through compelling stories and tightly integrated campaigns across digital, content, paid media, ABM and commercial activation.
This is a hands-on role for a versatile marketer who is equally comfortable shaping a plan and rolling up their sleeves to deliver it. You will test, learn and optimise continuously, using data and insight to improve performance and scale what works.
Checkout.com http://Checkout.com is growing quickly, and so is our ambition in APAC. We need someone with a strong growth mindset—someone who is energised by change, comfortable operating with ambiguity, and able to create clarity, momentum and results in a fast-paced environment.
This is a six-month contractor role based in Sydney, with the potential to extend depending on business needs.
How you’ll make an impact
- Lead the planning and execution of regional events, including industry conferences, executive roundtables, customer events, partner activations and owned experiences.
- Build integrated event campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, qualified pipeline and revenue opportunities—from pre-event acquisition through post-event nurture and conversion.
- Drive demand generation across online and offline channels to achieve MQL and opportunity targets, always looking for ways to unlock incremental growth.
- Partner closely with Commercial teams in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore to align event and campaign priorities with market needs, target accounts and pipeline goals.
- Apply an ABM lens to priority events and campaigns, creating personalised experiences and follow-up journeys for key accounts and buyer groups.
- Identify, test and scale new growth opportunities, including new verticals, audiences, partnerships, event formats and paid or organic channels.
- Develop strong regional campaign messaging and creative copy, and help build local content assets—including case studies, white papers, blogs, thought-leadership articles and event materials.
- Support localised product marketing initiatives and ensure regional programmes reflect market needs.
- Measure programme performance rigorously, translating results into clear recommendations and continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
- 4+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a strong track record in event marketing and demand generation.
- Experience managing events end to end, from strategy, planning and execution through to follow-up, measurement and reporting.
- A growth mindset: you are curious, commercially minded and always looking for smarter ways to create impact.
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and changing priorities; you can make sound decisions, bring structure to open-ended problems and keep work moving.
- Experience working in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment, with the resilience and adaptability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage several workstreams, stakeholders and deadlines at once.
- Experience with Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms and CRM tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A natural storyteller who can turn market, customer and product insights into compelling messaging and experiences.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are coming together with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together we're building the data infrastructure layer that moves, transforms, and adds context to data — from the moment it lands to the point where teams and AI systems depend on it.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we're building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products our customers know and trust. It's a good time to join a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work.
About the Role
Product Finance covers two things: how our products perform, and what they cost to build, run, and support. This role owns the cost and investment side, as the finance partner to the Product and Customer Support organizations.
You'll own the operating expense P&L for both organizations — headcount and hiring plans, vendor and program spend, annual planning, monthly close, and budget-vs-actuals — and work with those leaders on where to spend and what to trade off.
You'll also build our view of product investment at the portfolio level: what we spend behind each product line, what it returns, and what that means for how the roadmap gets funded. That includes bringing cost of revenue and unit economics into the picture, so we can talk about product margin rather than just product spend. This is how we'll decide where to invest and where to pull back.
You'll build our cost-to-serve view as well — support cost by account and segment, and the economics of deflection and AI-assisted support.
Expect close work with Product Managers, Support and Engineering leaders, Pricing, Corporate FP&A, and Accounting, and regular exposure to senior leadership as we scale toward public company readiness.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in our New York, NY office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
What You'll Do
Serve as the finance business partner to Product and Customer Support leadership — own their budgets, partner on spend decisions, and flag risks, trade-offs, and reallocation opportunities early.
Own the annual operating plan for both organizations, including headcount and hiring plans, vendor and program spend, and quarterly reforecasts.
Own monthly close, accruals, and variance analysis — budget vs. actuals with clear driver explanations and forward-looking implications.
Build the portfolio view of product investment: what we spend behind each product line, what it returns, and what that implies for roadmap funding and resource allocation.
Bring cost of revenue and product unit economics into that view, working with the teams that own the underlying cost data.
Build cost-to-serve analytics — support cost by account and segment, and the economics of deflection and AI-assisted support.
Build business cases for new product investments and major roadmap decisions, including the economics of retiring or consolidating products, and provide Pricing with the unit economics behind packaging and monetization changes.
Co-own the Product Monthly and Quarterly Financial Reviews with the product top-line lead, so cost and performance are presented together.
Improve how this work gets done — better data models, less manual assembly, and AI applied to recurring analysis.
What We're Looking For
4+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, product finance, investment banking, or consulting, including ownership of a model or forecast that others relied on.
Experience owning an operating expense budget, or partnering with a non-finance organization on its spend.
Strong modeling skills across both driver-based revenue forecasts and operating expense and headcount models.
Working knowledge of software and subscription economics — ARR, NRR, ARPA, expansion, gross margin — ideally in a usage-based business.
Comfort working directly with large and complex datasets. SQL proficiency strongly preferred.
Ability to turn analysis into a clear recommendation and present it to Product, Support, and senior leadership.
Interest in how software gets built and what it costs to run.
Nice to Have
Product or Engineering finance partnership at a software, data infrastructure, or developer tools company.
Hands-on product margin, cost of revenue, or cost-to-serve analysis.
Experience supporting a Customer Support, Services, or other cost-to-serve organization.
Usage-based pricing, packaging, or monetization modeling.
Planning and BI tools (Pigment, Looker, Tableau, Sigma) and lightweight automation in Python or SQL.
Experience through a period of rapid scaling or IPO preparation.

In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
About the Team
At Wolt, we’re building technology that makes life in local neighborhoods simpler. Wolt Market is our online grocery business, bringing customers a curated range of everyday essentials quickly and reliably.
The Category Team shapes the assortment, promotions and supplier collaboration behind that experience. As a Category Specialist, you will be the operational backbone of the team ensuring promotional plans, data, communication and follow-ups move accurately and on time.
You'll receive guidance and support from experienced colleagues while taking ownership of your daily responsibilities and contributing to the commercial success of Wolt Market Serbia.
What you’ll be doing
This is a hands-on coordination role at the centre of the Category Team. You will work closely with Category Managers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep commercial activities organised, accurately documented and delivered on schedule.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
Analyse category, product and promotional performance, preparing reports and insights to improve sales, profitability and assortment.
Support new product listings and maintain accurate supplier and product information across stores.
Support Category Managers in preparing supplier negotiations, following up on agreed actions and implementing commercial plans.
Coordinate promotional plans with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring accurate details and timely campaign launches.
Implement pricing updates, campaigns and category projects, keeping trackers and timelines up to date.
Collaborate with inventory management, marketing, finance and retail systems teams to resolve issues and support business growth.
Improve daily processes through reporting tools, automation and AI to reduce manual work and increase accuracy and efficiency.
Our humble expectations*
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive team player who enjoys working in a fast-moving e-commerce environment.
A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business or a related field.
1-3 years experience in category management, commercial support or coordination within retail, e-commerce or FMCG.
Strong analytical skills and intermediate proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to turn data into practical insights.
A commercial mindset and an understanding of how assortment, pricing and promotions influence sales and profitability.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Clear and professional communication skills in Serbian and English, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
Confidence using presentation tools, business systems and reporting tools, along with a willingness to explore AI and automation.
A collaborative, proactive and hands-on approach, with the motivation to learn and grow in a commercial role.
What we offer
You’ll gain broad exposure to the commercial engine of a fast-growing online grocery business and work closely with Category Managers, suppliers and cross-functional teams. This role offers a strong foundation to build commercial, analytical and operational skills while helping shape more efficient ways of working through data, systems and AI.
Next steps*
We review applications on a rolling basis. The recruitment process will include an initial conversation with Talent Acquisition, an interview with the hiring team and a practical assessment or working session relevant to the role.
