ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will be a front-line manager to a group of Account Managers who are responsible for hunting, pitching, and expanding the existing customer base at Ramp.
You'll lead a group of 6-8 Account Managers, each carrying a book of 60-70 Enterprise customers with real latitude over how they grow it. This is a build role, not a maintain role: the playbooks, coaching systems, and performance bar you set are the ones this team runs on next year. Your ceiling is set by how well you turn individual AM judgment into a repeatable, scalable motion that grows the segment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and run a high-performing team of 6-8 Account Managers - setting the bar for culture, morale, and daily execution.
- Get embedded in the relationships that matter. Engage directly with key customers and top accounts alongside your team, building trust and long-term partnership.
- Own the number. Manage quota performance and pipeline generation across your team to hit spend activation, product activation, retention, and expansion goals.
- Forecast and report team performance to senior leadership with clear-eyed visibility into what's working and what isn't.
- Hire and develop the next generation of AMs - training on product, buyer personas, competition, and tooling through role-plays, game film, and real deal work.
- Coach relentlessly. Run daily 1:1s, dissect call feedback, lead enablement sessions, and build career paths for every rep on your team.
- Turn what works into a system. Continuously refine team processes and tooling to improve output and efficiency as the segment scales.
- Represent Account Management cross-functionally, partnering with Sales, CX, CSM, Risk, and Product to remove blockers and drive outcomes.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Minimum 5 years of quota-carrying sales or account management experience as an individual contributor, with a proven, consistent track record of exceeding goals (new business or cross-sell/upsell experience mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years building and leading account management or sales teams, with a track record of exceeding goal (new business or cross-sell/upsell experience mandatory)
- Prior success in fast-paced, results-oriented GTM environments, ideally at SaaS or AI companies
- A genuine passion for hiring, with a thoughtful approach to talent development
- Ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value to customers, including C-Suite and executive leaders
- Strong track record negotiating, structuring, and executing complex agreements
- Proficiency with data analytics tools (Salesforce, Looker, Excel) and a bias toward using data to drive decisions
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills, backed by excellent communication and presentation ability.
- High agency and adaptability - no two days are the same, and the only constant is change
- A desire and willingness to jump headfirst into complex, challenging problems for the good of the business.
Great to Haves
- Experience at a high-growth, top SaaS/AI startup
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)

- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is growing fast, and our SOX program needs to keep up. Many of the controls that matter for financial reporting run on engineering systems: who can access production and financial systems, how code changes are reviewed and deployed, and how usage is metered and billed.
We’re hiring a Technical Program Manager to own the technology side of our SOX program. You'll work across engineering, security, GRC, Finance, and Internal Audit to design and run IT controls, drive gaps to closure, and make compliance lighter for engineering teams. You’ll also use Claude to automate evidence collection and control testing, so the program scales without more manual work.
Responsibilities
Own the technology side of the SOX program end-to-end, from planning and control design through evidence, testing, remediation, and year-end reporting
Work with engineering teams to design and roll out IT general controls and IT application controls
Work with engineering teams to build Claude-based workflows, tools, and dashboards to automate evidence collection, control testing, and monitoring that warns engineering teams about compliance issues before an audit finds them
Lead large SOX projects, such as bringing new systems into scope, with clear success criteria, dependencies, and delivery dates
Turn control requirements into concrete engineering work with clear scope, owners, and deadlines, and a design that fits how our teams already build and ship
Build processes to evaluate new products, systems, and major engineering changes for SOX impact before they ship, so the right controls are in place from the start
Build strong working relationships with engineering control owners, help them understand what their controls require, and support them in producing evidence for auditor requests
Investigate control failures down to root cause, and drive engineering teams to fix them in time for the fix to be tested
Help keep an up-to-date list of the systems, apps, and infrastructure in SOX scope, with an owner named for each control
Track system migrations and scope changes, and make sure controls are updated as systems move
Build metrics and dashboards on control health, open findings, and remediation progress
Give regular updates on program status, risks, and remediation to technical leadership
Keep improving the program: simplify control processes, remove manual steps, and raise the share of controls that run cleanly
You may be a good fit if you
Have 7+ years of experience in technical program management, IT audit, or technology compliance, with a focus on SOX and IT general controls
Have run or supported a SOX program at a public or pre-IPO company
Have used automation or AI tools to make compliance work faster and more reliable
Know IT general controls and IT application controls in depth, including access management, change management, and application controls, and how they support financial reporting
Have worked closely with external auditors
Understand cloud infrastructure and engineering workflows, such as code review, CI/CD, and cloud access, well enough to work through a control design with an engineer
Can explain technical risks and control gaps clearly to executives and other non-technical audiences
Are comfortable driving outcomes across engineering, finance, and audit teams that don't report to you
Strong candidates may also have
A background in software, systems, or security engineering
Hands-on experience building with Claude Code or other AI tools
Experience with automated controls in revenue or order-to-cash systems, such as billing and usage metering
Experience with financial systems such as ERP and billing platforms, and the controls around them

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
As a Technical Program Manager for Corporate Engineering, you will lead programs that build world-class business solutions enabling every Ant to do their best work. In partnership with Anthropic's IT & Security organization, you will drive end-to-end solutions across the company, delivering the right products, tools, platforms, and experiences for all Ants as they work to create a world for safe and powerful AI. You will use your technical and program management expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, lead execution, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You are equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to leadership as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
This role owns the full spectrum of Corporate Engineering programs: the IT systems Ants depend on daily, first-party and third-party software platforms, endpoint devices, office infrastructure, AV and collaboration equipment, network infrastructure, and the programs that scale our physical office footprint as Anthropic grows.
Responsibilities
Partner across Corporate Engineering domains to drive alignment and delivery
: Work with globally distributed product, engineering, and architecture teams to foster collaboration, help teams adopt enterprise standards, and enable faster delivery with consistent practices across the organization
Define and maintain core architectural foundations
: Assist in establishing and maintaining the architectural standards that underpin Corporate Engineering systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security as Anthropic grows
Lead office deployment and scaling programs
: Own end-to-end planning and execution for new office buildouts and expansions, coordinating across IT, Facilities, Security, and external vendors to deliver fully operational workspaces on schedule
Own internal systems and infrastructure programs
: Drive programs for all internal systems and hardware deployed in Anthropic buildings, including network infrastructure, AV equipment, printing and collaboration hardware, and building technology integrations
Lead endpoint and device management programs
: Own global programs for corporate laptops, mobile devices, and endpoint management, ensuring Ants have secure, well-managed devices that enable productivity from day one
Drive IT Operations excellence
: Lead programs that improve IT service delivery, support operations, and the overall Ant experience with technology, driving continuous improvement in reliability and responsiveness
Manage enterprise software and platform programs
: Lead programs for the 1P and 3P software platforms Ants depend on, including HR systems, productivity tools, and business applications, from evaluation through deployment and ongoing optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
: Work closely with Security, Facilities, People, Finance, and functional teams across Anthropic to ensure Corporate Engineering programs meet diverse organizational needs
Communicate effectively at all levels
: Comfortable communicating across all levels of Anthropic from presenting analyses, recommendations, and program status to leadership, engaging deeply on technical tradeoffs with engineering teams, and communicating broadly to the entire company
You May Be a Good Fit If You Have
8+ years of experience in IT, Corporate Engineering, or Enterprise Technology, with at least 4+ years leading complex, cross-functional programs
Technical background in enterprise IT systems, including endpoint management, identity and access management, network infrastructure, and SaaS platforms
Experience leading office buildout or infrastructure deployment programs, coordinating across IT, Facilities, and external vendors
Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role in a technology-focused environment, with a track record of leading company-wide programs to successful completion
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for executive audiences and engage credibly with engineers on technical details
Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in fast-paced, evolving environments where requirements and priorities shift
Strong collaboration skills with proven ability to partner across diverse stakeholders including IT, Security, Facilities, People, Finance, and functional teams
Strong Candidates May Also Have
Experience scaling IT infrastructure in high-growth technology companies
Background in IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and continuous improvement methodologies
