An overview of this role
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you'll be the deepest technical voice in the field for one product group, helping customers make technical decisions on GitLab's most important opportunities, roughly the top 10% by size or complexity.
Account Solutions Architects (Account SAs) will bring you into prioritized opportunities. The Account SA owns the opportunity; you own your product group's success within it. You'll work directly with Product and Engineering, bringing customer needs and field insights into roadmap discussions. You'll also help the wider Solutions Architecture team build expertise through reusable assets, enablement, and coaching.
You'll specialize in one product group, not all four. In Security & Compliance, you'll focus on GitLab Ultimate, application security, Dependency Firewall, software supply chain security, compliance, and artificial intelligence (AI) governance. In Platform, you'll focus on GitLab Dedicated, self-managed deployments, bring your own model, and cloud and hybrid architecture. In Core DevSecOps, you'll focus on GitLab Premium, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), source code management, Orbit, Artifact Central, and migrations. DevSecOps brings development, security, and operations together across software delivery. In AI & Competitive, you'll focus on GitLab Duo Agent Platform, agentic workflows, AI-native development, competitive displacement including GitHub, and migrations.
Your success will be measured by technical win rate and bookings on SME-engaged opportunities, product-category commit attainment and consumption growth in your region, and Proof of Value (PoV) conversion rate, evaluation cycle time, and time from technical win to production use. We'll also measure how often Account SAs reuse your assets, their confidence in handling your product group without escalation, and the quality and impact of your feedback to Product.
What you’ll do
Act as the technical authority for your product group on prioritized opportunities, from discovery and architecture through trials and PoV evaluations.
Lead technical deep dives, workshops, and executive briefings that connect product capabilities to business outcomes and explain how GitLab differs from competing solutions.
Design and improve standardized PoV templates with clear, repeatable success criteria. Account SAs own the customer PoV; you'll contribute product-specific content and expertise while keeping the evaluation connected to the broader GitLab platform.
Equip account teams for product launches with Product Management and Product Marketing. Build demos and talk tracks, and turn early customer wins into reference stories.
Serve as the escalation point for Account SAs and Post-Sales Solutions Architects (Post-Sales SAs) on complex product questions, integrations, and objections.
Hand off PoV success criteria and architecture decisions to the Post-Sales SA with the account team when an opportunity closes. Stay involved until the customer's first production workload uses the product, and support complex accounts when Post-Sales SAs bring you in to drive adoption and consumption.
Bring structured field feedback, competitive insights, and customer requirements to Product Management and Engineering with the wider SME team. Help manage early-access and design-partner programs, and represent GitLab through customer events, conferences, industry working groups, and published content.
Build reference architectures, demo environments, competitive battlecards, PoV playbooks, and enablement content so account teams can handle more opportunities without your direct involvement. Mentor Account SAs and contribute to GitLab's global SME community of practice.
What you’ll bring
Substantial experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, consulting, or software engineering, with deep, hands-on expertise in one domain: application security testing, supply chain security, and compliance; scalable cloud and hybrid platforms; large CI/CD environments and source code migrations; or production AI-assisted development, working prototypes, and competitive evaluations.
Practical expertise in agentic and AI-assisted development workflows across planning, coding, testing, security, and delivery, applied in a customer-facing, pre-sales context.
Experience winning technical decisions on large, complex enterprise opportunities through structured Proof of Concept (PoC) or PoV evaluations with defined success criteria and executive sign-off.
Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud provider.
The ability to lead a whiteboard session with engineers and present the business case to executives in the same meeting.
Strong written communication, including the ability to turn complex topics into clear playbooks that others use.
Comfort working asynchronously across time zones with Sales, Product, and Engineering.
Optional: public speaking, published technical content, open source contributions, or relevant certifications in Kubernetes, cloud architecture, or security.
If you bring transferable experience in an adjacent domain, we encourage you to apply.

VP of Marketing
The Role
As our Sr. Marketing Manager, Accessories, you will own go-to-market for new Nex Playground accessories and merchandise.
That includes travel cases, skins, protectors, mounting solutions, extra cables, and Nex merch and apparel.
You'll lead the first phase of every launch: taking new products to market through our direct-to-consumer and e-commerce channels, including Amazon and TikTok Shop. Your job is to prove each product works: real consumer demand, product-market fit, and a healthy margin structure. Once a product is proven, you'll hand it off to our commercial team to scale into retail, with the story and data they need to start early retailer conversations.
This role is ideal for a marketer who loves launching products, reads the numbers closely, and can orchestrate many teams toward one clear outcome.
What You'll Do
Phase 1 Go-to-Market
Own end-to-end launch plans for new accessories and merch, from concept through launch and early sales.
Develop positioning, messaging, and launch assets that make each product easy to understand and want.
Provide input on pricing, bundles, and assortment in partnership with Product and Finance.
Orchestrate launches across our D2C store, Amazon, and TikTok Shop.
Prove Product-Market Fit
Define success metrics before launch, such as demand, conversion, attach rate, ratings and reviews, return rates, and contribution margin.
Design and run tests across pricing, bundles, offers, and creative to learn quickly.
Build clear recommendations to scale, iterate, or sunset each product based on results.
Cross-Functional Orchestration
Partner with our growth and performance marketing experts to plan and optimize paid, social, and marketplace programs.
Work with Creative, Content, and Social teams on assets for PDPs, TikTok, email, and the Nex website.
Coordinate with Product and Operations on launch timing, inventory, and forecasts.
Brief and manage vendors and partners for merch and apparel programs as needed.
Handoff to Scale
Package results, consumer insights, and the sell-in story so our retail management team can begin early retailer conversations.
Transition proven products to the commercial team with a repeatable launch playbook.
Consumer Insight
Bring the voice of the customer into every decision, using reviews, social listening, and community feedback.
Identify gaps and opportunities that shape the future accessories roadmap.
What You'll Bring
Experience
8+ years in product marketing or go-to-market roles for consumer products, ideally in accessories, consumer electronics, gaming, toys, or lifestyle brands.
A proven track record of launching products through D2C and Amazon.
TikTok Shop or social commerce experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with merchandise or apparel programs is a plus.
Skills & Strengths
Strong commercial acumen across unit economics, pricing, margin, and demand forecasting.
Data-driven decision maker who is comfortable with marketplace, e-commerce, and marketing analytics.
Excellent writer and storyteller who can make simple products feel compelling.
Highly organized, with the ability to run several launches at once.
Collaboration & Mindset
A natural orchestrator who aligns people without needing direct authority.
Test-and-learn mindset, with the judgment to move fast and the discipline to measure.
Comfortable in a small, fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.
Passion for building products and experiences that families love.
What Success Looks Like
A clear accessories roadmap that has cross-functional alignment of new accessories and merch that compliment our platform & ecosystem strategy
A customer-led insights process that guides and supports key decisions on new products, driven by tangible market and customer research
Business plans and GTM plans that are fully documented and positioned for success with sign-off from the leadership team before new accessories move into production and marketing team action around the plan
Clear messaging, value proposition, and pricing recommendations for new products that support the business plan/thesis
Successful GTM orchestration across multiple internal teams, from the product teams to the marketing communications teams that assemble the creative and deliverables to drive new launches, meet the sales goals, and sustain the business plan
Initial learnings in market with a first launch phase of growth to validate the business contribution of the accessory and establish a growth path before broader commercial business development (retail development, international expansion, etc)

Competitive compensation package.

Product-driven culture that treasures talents and individual growth.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is building AI systems that will shape the trajectory of one of the most consequential technologies in human history. That work requires physical infrastructure at significant scale, and building that infrastructure the right way means being a real, long-term partner to the communities where we operate.
We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager in Montana and Utah to join our Public Policy team and serve as Anthropic's on-the-ground presence in the communities where our data centers are sited, built, and operated. This is not a communications role or a government affairs role, though you will do elements of both. It is a relationship role: your job is to make Anthropic a trusted, visible, and valued neighbor, from the earliest stages of site selection through construction and long-term operations.
You will be the connective tissue between Anthropic's Policy and Infrastructure teams and the local officials, community organizations, economic development partners, and residents who have a stake in what we build. You will surface concerns before they escalate, translate our technical and operational plans into clear local benefits, and build the coalitions that allow us to move quickly and responsibly. Because Anthropic's infrastructure footprint is still early in its growth, you will also help write the playbook: the processes you build in your first markets are the ones we will use as we expand.
You will travel regularly within Montana and Utah, up to 50% of the time, often over long distances, and occasionally to other Anthropic data center markets.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain trusted, sustained relationships with county commissioners, mayors and city and town councils, planning and zoning bodies, state economic development agencies (such as Montana's Department of Commerce and Utah's Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity), community groups, civic leaders, educational institutions, and workforce partners in the Montana and Utah data center markets you cover
Engage respectfully and meaningfully with Tribal governments and Native communities in Montana and Utah, recognizing Tribal sovereignty, building sustained relationships, and supporting consultation and partnership efforts related to our projects
Develop and execute a community engagement strategy for each of your markets, spanning site selection, pre-development, construction, and ongoing operations
Build external coalitions, host education and listening sessions, and design local solutions that deliver real benefits to the communities where we operate
Represent Anthropic in public forums, town halls, planning hearings, community events, and local media
Monitor community sentiment and local political dynamics, and advise internal teams on risks, opportunities, and the right pace and posture for engagement
Partner with the Real Estate and Infrastructure team to bring community input into how projects are planned, communicated, and delivered, not just how they are announced
Work with the Communications team to develop proactive, locally relevant messaging
Coordinate charitable giving, community investment, and economic development commitments in your markets, including managing nonprofit partner relationships
Partner with the Energy and Sustainability team to explain our approach to environmental stewardship and respond to questions about power, water, and land use, including water availability and water rights in a dry climate and how rural electric cooperatives and utilities would serve large electricity needs
Build a community engagement playbook and repeatable processes that scale as Anthropic's infrastructure footprint grows
Minimum qualifications
Experience in community affairs, public affairs, economic development, government relations, local or state government, or a closely related field
Direct experience working for or engaging with county and municipal governments and a broad set of community stakeholders on behalf of large infrastructure, construction, energy, or technology projects, with a working understanding of how local politics and community dynamics actually play out
A skilled relationship and coalition builder who earns trust with a diverse group of stakeholders, and who maintains relationships through difficult conversations
The ability to represent a company credibly in public settings, including town halls, hearings, and press interviews
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn a complex operational plan into plain language that a local official or reporter can understand and respond to
The ability to work independently, get up to speed quickly on complex policy issues, and manage multiple concurrent engagements across different markets without losing track of any of them
Based in Montana or Utah or willing to relocate to one of them, and prepared to travel regularly, including long drives, across both states
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of experience in community engagement specifically on data center, utility, energy, or large-scale industrial infrastructure projects, or in local government
Familiarity with land use, zoning, and permitting processes at the county and municipal level in Montana and/or Utah, and with water rights and water use questions in the Mountain West
Experience managing corporate social responsibility programs
Established relationships with economic development, workforce, or civic organizations in the markets this role covers
Experience working with real estate, legal, communications, and policy teams at the same time
Experience working with Tribal governments and Native communities in Montana or Utah, including familiarity with consultation processes, Tribal sovereignty and treaty considerations, or community benefit and partnership agreements
A genuine interest in the communities where you work, not just the projects you are managing
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$265,000
—
$295,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.

Money is moving onto the internet, and the shift has a name:
Open Money.
This is money that is open, portable, agentic, and owned by you. MetaMask spent the last ten years building it; with 100M+ downloads, users in ~190 countries, and trillions in cumulative transaction volume, it's the most trusted self-custodial financial platform on the internet. Now we're building the operating system for your money: one place to hold, move, grow, and use anything you own. Join a remote-first, global team rebuilding how money works: a problem that touches everyone, every day.
About the role
MetaMask is a self-custody wallet that does not hold users’ private keys. Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible, meaning a vulnerability in the product or its software delivery chain can lead directly to financial losses for users. As a result, MetaMask attracts sustained attention from financially motivated attackers and sophisticated supply chain actors.
We are looking for a
Senior Manager, Application Security
to lead application security across the MetaMask extension, mobile app, Snaps, backend services, DeFi primitives, stablecoins, and supporting smart contracts.
The role covers architecture, code, dependencies, build and release controls, security testing, and vulnerability disclosure. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will set the strategy and operating model, lead a small senior team, and remain directly involved in code review and threat modelling.
You will report to the Head of Security and work closely with MetaMask Engineering leadership to ensure security risks are understood, owned, and addressed.
Responsibilities
Leadership and planning
Lead and develop the Application Security team, including hiring, performance management and career development, while remaining directly involved in technical work.
Set the Application Security strategy, annual goals and quarterly OKRs in line with company objectives and the approved Target Operating Model. Define and track KPIs to measure performance and progress.
Report AppSec progress, coverage, remediation performance and material gaps to Security leadership and contribute to Risk Committee reporting.
Secure design and delivery
Define security review requirements across development and release, assess whether they are met and escalate unresolved risks.
Lead threat modelling and security design reviews across clients, APIs and backend services, including authentication, key management, signing and delegated actions. Assess trust boundaries across the full system and participate in architecture and RFC reviews.
Define software supply chain security requirements and work with engineering teams to implement and validate controls for dependencies, builds, artefacts and publishing.
Lead security code reviews across MetaMask applications and smart contracts, working with engineers and relevant specialists to address findings.
Define and evolve the secure development lifecycle to incorporate AI agents, including their access, actions and human review requirements. Set security standards for AI development tools, generated code and AI components in products.
Integrate security testing into development and delivery workflows, including static and dynamic analysis, dependency scanning, secrets detection and AI scanning. Evaluate tools and validate their findings.
Help engineers prevent recurring vulnerabilities through secure coding guidance, reusable libraries, training and the security champions programme.
Vulnerability management and external testing
Own application vulnerability assessment, triage, prioritisation and remediation tracking within the organisation’s vulnerability management framework. Correlate findings across clients, services and supporting infrastructure with the relevant owners to assess combined impact. Ensure findings have clear owners and deadlines, verify fixes and escalate overdue risks.
Set the scope and proposed investment for bug bounty, penetration testing and AI security scanning based on risk and results. Manage external providers, researcher relationships, rewards and payouts, and coordinate vulnerability disclosure.
Assurance and incident support
Provide evidence of application security controls for audits and assurance reviews, and support customer and partner due diligence.
Provide application security expertise during incidents, including vulnerability analysis and remediation support.
Qualifications
Required
:
At least eight years in application security or software engineering with a security focus, including two years leading people.
Strong practical code review skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, Go or Solidity across browser extensions, mobile applications and backend services, with the ability to identify vulnerabilities and work with engineers to fix them.
Proven experience securing applications across clients and backend services, including distributed authentication, authorisation and key management.
Experience building or substantially improving an AppSec programme, including security reviews, automated testing, AI scanning, vulnerability management and developer support, with sound judgement on where AI adds value and how to validate its findings.
Practical experience securing software supply chains, including dependency policies, software composition analysis, npm, artefact integrity and CI/CD.
Experience running bug bounty and penetration testing programmes, including selecting and managing external providers.
Working knowledge of EVM smart contract security, including common vulnerabilities, review methods, upgrade and admin controls, and assessing external audits.
A record of delivering security improvements through engineering teams outside your reporting line.
Clear written communication, from actionable threat models to concise summaries of risk for executives.
Preferred
:
Offensive security qualifications such as OSCP, OSWE or OSWA, or a proven record in bug bounty programmes or CTF competitions.
Experience securing browser extensions or mobile applications.
Experience securing development workflows that use AI, or AI components in production applications.
Experience in crypto, Web3 or another sector facing sustained attacks, such as fintech, payments or infrastructure.
Knowledge of or a strong interest in applied cryptography.
Familiarity with attacks by state actors against software companies, particularly DPRK supply chain and social engineering campaigns.
Experience providing evidence of secure development controls for SOC 2 or ISO 27001 assessments.
Don't meet all the requirements? Don't sweat it. We’re passionate about building a diverse team of humans and as such, if you think you've got what it takes for our chaotic-but-fun, remote-friendly, start-up environment—apply anyway, detailing your relevant transferable skills in your cover letter. While we have a pretty good idea of what we need, we're ready for you to challenge our thinking on who needs to be in this role.
In the rapidly evolving Web3 space, we believe that everyone is a builder. This expansive paradigm requires a range of backgrounds, talents, skills, and experiences to influence and shape the future. At MetaMask, this diversity fuels our ability to shift control and redefine the realm of possibility. We are committed to ensuring that our technology empowers people and communities through decentralized technologies. We welcome the range of perspectives and differences and celebrate them. We're excited to see how your unique skills as a builder can contribute to our vision, drive innovation, and help us shape a more inclusive Web3.
MetaMask is an equal opportunity employer. All employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, genetic information, religion, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, marital status, family status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
MetaMask is aware of fraudulent recruitment practices and we encourage all applicants to review our best practices to protect yourself, which can be found on our page.
MetaMask may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of our recruitment process, such as reviewing applications, screening resumes, or conducting initial candidate assessments. These tools are designed to assist our recruiting team and improve efficiency — they do not replace human judgment. A human recruiter or hiring manager reviews every candidate, and all final hiring decisions are made by people, not AI.
It is a requirement of employment in this position that applicants may be required to submit to background and identity verification checks, including but not limited to employment, education, criminal record checks, and other such checks as determined necessary by the company.

As a Cybersecurity Specialist on Applied AI, you’ll be part of an overlay team of domain experts who sit alongside our enterprise account teams and bring deep security expertise to the accounts where it matters most.
You won’t own an account. You’ll be the security expert the account team pulls in to win and grow the most important security conversations: helping CISOs and security leaders see where Claude can take on real security work, then guiding them from early pilots to durable, production workloads. You’ll cover a portfolio of enterprise accounts across regulated industries like financial services, insurance, and healthcare, strategic accounts like semiconductors (IP protection, industrial control systems, export controls), and digital natives and public sector agencies, each with its own threat model.
How this team works
You partner with account executives, account architects, and generalist Applied AI engineers, who own the customer relationship and the broader technical engagement. You bring the security depth they don’t have time to build.
You work across many accounts at once, so the playbooks, reference implementations, and evaluation approaches you build are reused across the field, not just for one customer.
You are the connection point between the field and Anthropic’s Product, Research, and Engineering teams, turning what you see in customer security programs into product feedback.
You work alongside ISVs, systems integrators, and managed security providers who already serve these customers, enabling them where they own the engagement rather than competing with them.
Responsibilities
Join account teams to understand a customer’s security program, identify where Claude can do meaningful security work, and turn that into a technical plan and business case
Serve as the security-domain technical advisor on strategic enterprise accounts, from discovery through deployment
Move customers from one-time code scanning to sustained security workloads: application security in the SDLC, continuous automated penetration testing, alert triage and investigation, and threat intelligence that answers “does this new vulnerability affect us, and where”
Build and maintain reference implementations, harnesses, and evaluation approaches, and help customers adapt them to their own environments and controls
Run workshops and hands-on sessions where customer security teams use Claude on their own code and workflows
Equip partners to deliver Claude-powered security outcomes, with a clear line between what Anthropic delivers and what partners deliver
Speak credibly to every audience, from appsec engineers to CISOs and executives, including how to explain the value and risk of security work in business terms
Define and track adoption depth for each security workload across your accounts, and work with Product and Engineering on the telemetry to measure it
Write the playbooks and best practices the rest of the field can reuse, including how Claude complements the security tooling customers already own
Develop reference customers who can speak to the value they’re realizing
Stay current on frontier LLM capabilities and the new classes of vulnerabilities and attacks they surface
Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops and technical deep dives
You may be a good fit if you have
5+ years in security roles, with hands-on depth in at least two of: application security and secure SDLC, offensive security and penetration testing, detection and response, or threat intelligence and vulnerability management
Experience in a technical customer-facing role (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, security consultant, TAM), or on a security team where you had to win investment from leadership
Experience with large enterprise customers and complex, multi-stakeholder buying cycles, including working alongside the vendors and partners already in the account
The ability to translate between security teams, engineering teams, and executives
Comfort with Python, CI/CD, and cloud environments, plus hands-on experience using LLMs for security work such as code review, vulnerability discovery, triage, or investigation
A love of teaching and a collaborative approach to working across teams and balancing competing priorities
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Chief of Staff to partner with the Head of Talent in building and scaling ElevenLabs’ global Talent organization. You will help shape strategy, turn priorities into action, and lead work that requires deep talent expertise and focused execution. Your remit will span the entire Talent organization: GTM, G&A, and Technical recruiting, Talent Operations and Talent Programs. You will embed with teams where additional leadership or expertise can accelerate progress, and own high visibility projects sponsored by the Head of Talent and senior leadership across ElevenLabs.
- Turn Talent strategy into execution. Partner with the Head of Talent to identify priorities, evaluate tradeoffs, and translate decisions into clear plans, owners, and outcomes. Bring an informed point of view on where the organization needs to invest or change, build alignment with Talent leaders and cross-functional partners, and follow through to delivery.
- Embed where you can make the greatest difference. Step into teams or initiatives that need additional leadership, expertise, or execution capacity. Diagnose what is holding progress back and take responsibility for improving it, whether that means leading a hiring initiative, strengthening a process, or supporting a function through change. Build capability as you go, with clear ownership and a sustainable handover.
- Lead high visibility projects from idea to outcome. Own strategic initiatives sponsored by the Head of Talent and other senior leaders, such as new sourcing experiments and targeted talent campaigns. Turn early ideas into focused experiments, lead the execution, and use evidence to decide what to scale, adapt, or stop.
- Improve how the Talent organization works together. Partner with Talent leaders to resolve issues that cut across teams, improve decision-making, and share effective practices. Use hiring data and direct experience to identify opportunities, and help turn successful approaches into repeatable ways of working, including better use of tools and AI.
REQUIREMENTS
- You bring deep talent expertise and have helped a global organization navigate hypergrowth at scale, including hundreds to thousands of hires annually across multiple regions and time zones. You understand what needs to evolve as hiring volume, team size, and business complexity increase.
- You are equally comfortable shaping strategy and delivering the work yourself. You can advise an executive on a difficult tradeoff, build a plan from an ambiguous brief, and go deep into a search, process, or team to understand and solve the underlying problem.
- You have led teams, functions, or complex talent initiatives with clear accountability for results. You can earn trust quickly, lead through influence or direct ownership, and strengthen the teams you support. You bring the judgment to know when to step in, when to coach, and when to hand ownership back.
- You have delivered high visibility projects with senior executive stakeholders, bringing structure, pace, and sound judgment to evolving priorities. You can challenge an idea constructively, test it pragmatically, and communicate clearly about progress, results, and decisions needed.

Ava Labs is redefining the way people create value with Web3. Join us as we empower people to easily and freely digitize all the world’s assets on one open, programmable blockchain platform.
As the Finance Lead at Ava Labs, you will help manage and strengthen our financial operations within the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency industry. This is a hands-on role requiring a self-starter who takes ownership from identifying a need through delivering the result. You will work closely with the CFO and cross-functional teams to drive financial clarity, maintain efficient operations, and ensure our financial practices align with regulatory requirements and business goals. You will partner with the CFO on financial execution and process improvement, with opportunities to contribute to broader strategic initiatives as you grow in the role. Reports to the CFO.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead financial planning and forecasting across the business. Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, scenario planning, and departmental decision-making.
- Hands-on Execution and Ownership: Personally drive finance projects from start to finish, including gathering and validating data, building models, investigating variances, and implementing solutions. Proactively identify what needs to be done and follow through to completion, independently resolving challenges and coordinating with others when their input or approval is needed.
- Operations and Compliance Oversight: Manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations. Oversee the handling of crypto and fiat transactions, ensuring efficient payments and settlements in close collaboration with the treasury team. Maintain and continuously refine existing systems for expense management, equity and compensation plans, travel arrangements, and accounts payable.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a financial liaison among engineering, compliance, business development, legal, and accounting teams. Work with People Operations and Human Resources to align financial processes with workforce planning.
- Performance Management: Track and report key financial and operational metrics. Partner with the Head of Business Operations and Analytics to analyze trends and variances and flag business risks and opportunities.
- Innovation and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine financial processes and systems as the business scales, and recommend changes to existing workflows. Support the CFO in identifying processes that can be automated, planning, and implementation of automation.
- Investor Relations and Strategic Communication: Collaborate with the C-suite to prepare and present materials for board meetings and strategic updates. Experience in venture capital fundraising is a plus, although direct fundraising activities are not currently planned. Create visually engaging and digestible financial presentations that simplify complex information for diverse audiences, enhancing communication both within the company and with external stakeholders.
- Corporate Development and Strategy: Support the CFO on corporate development activity, including entity spinouts, divestitures, and asset sales, and help evaluate, structure, and execute potential investments, acquisitions, or similar strategic transactions as they arise.
- Tax Responsibilities: Support tax planning and compliance efforts, ensuring tax positions align with overall fiscal policy and legal requirements.
- Legal Agreement Review: Collaborate with the legal department to review the financial terms of contracts and agreements.
- Financial Communication: Communicate financial insights and risks clearly to the CFO and relevant stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Education: BA or BS in Finance or Accounting; an MBA from a top-tier school is preferred.
- Experience: Extensive experience in finance within the digital assets or fintech sector. Proven track record in cryptocurrency management, international payments, and trading platforms. Experience in investment banking, corporate development, and fast-paced startup environments is highly valued.
- Adaptability and Resourcefulness: Comfortable being scrappy and resourceful in a dynamic environment, with sound judgment on trade-offs and prioritization under pressure.
- Technical Skills: Advanced financial modeling and analytics skills, comfortable working with large datasets. SQL or statistics experience is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheets, cash flow management, and general accounting principles. Familiarity with the regulatory landscape for cryptocurrencies is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams, and high integrity.
- Self-Starter with a Hands-on Approach: Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous requests into concrete deliverables with minimal supervision. Willing to roll up your sleeves and perform detailed work yourself, take initiative without waiting for direction, and deliver results without relying on a supporting team to execute.
- Leadership and Team Management: Comfortable mentoring or overseeing junior finance team members as the team grows while remaining directly responsible for hands-on execution and delivery.
- Attention to Detail and Strategic Perspective: Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to see the bigger picture; able to think critically and solve problems under deadlines.
