About Finom
Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.
We recently closed a €115 million Series C equity round (around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.
Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
At Finom, we’re not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we’re empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole.
Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
At Finom, we're transforming how small and medium businesses across Europe manage their money - and financial crime prevention sits right at the heart of that promise. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you'll take over DRS: a production ML product that scores our whole client base daily and drives our quarantine, alert suppression, and soon our credit decisions. This is genuine end-to-end ownership on a small team - you'll deploy, serve, monitor, and improve the system rather than inherit a finished one. If you're the kind of engineer who quietly keeps production models honest and wants their decisions to actually reach live traffic, this is your seat.
What You Will Be Doing
Full-stack ML model development (binary classification and regression) for the detection and prevention of financial crime during transaction processing and client onboarding: gathering requirements, prototyping, and deployment in a production environment.
Own and evolve the Dynamic Risk Score (DRS) across all markets — daily scoring of the full client base that feeds decisioning across the client lifecycle.
Handle a portfolio of transaction rules with ML-driven detection inside, optimizing their performance and the number of generated alerts.
Set up continuous monitoring of model and rule performance in production, and develop the champion-challenger framework so the best-performing model is always the one live in production.
Participate in infrastructure development for ML model operationalization and inter-service interactions, so models of varying complexity can be served and inferred.
Who You Are
At least 5 years as a Machine Learning Engineer or Full-stack Data Scientist, with production deployment experience (incl. API services like FastAPI).
Strong in SQL and Python, and with cloud data platforms (e.g. Databricks).
Strong architectural skills — able to design and improve infrastructure that serves models of varying complexity.
Experience with model monitoring and champion-challenger / A-B evaluation in production. Exposure to graph modeling or foundation models/embeddings is a plus.
Critical, analytical thinker — proactive, result-driven, comfortable working with little supervision in a start-up setting.
A quantitative education (math, engineering, economics, or CS) and full working proficiency in English.

Location: London, United Kingdom - Deliveroo
Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
About the Team
Customer Experience ensures that when there are bumps in the last mile, there's always someone there to help make things right. Our team designs and implements automated support solutions, with the ultimate goal of delivering an outstanding customer experience as reliably and efficiently as possible.
About the Role
Our team is looking to hire a Manager to lead the expansion of support automation in international markets. This Manager will own the end-to-end strategy and implementation of automated support features across new markets — leveraging DoorDash's extensive automation expertise to drive measurable automated resolution rate while building a scalable foundation for ongoing global expansion.
This Manager will serve as the Strategy and Operations (S&O) Expansion Program Lead: the central DRI for developing international automation rollout plans, owning reporting for North Star metric, and working closely with cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Analytics, and country teams. This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to operationalize complex, multi-market solutions and have a direct impact on global support strategy.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
Lead strategy.
Define and drive support automation expansion strategy for international markets: determining use cases, prioritization frameworks, and the approach to scaling automations across countries in a repeatable, compliant, and operationally efficient way.
Own the metric.
Own the goal end-to-end, tracking progress weekly, identifying gaps, and driving corrective action across the cross-functional team.
Build the foundation.
Build a strong foundation partnering with Product and Engineering to enable feature parity and market customization, and creating the playbook for scaling across new use cases and automation channels.
Enable experimentation.
Partner with Analytics to design, launch, and evaluate experiments that measure impact and drive ship decisions in alignment with stakeholders.
Navigate cross-functional complexity.
Identify and manage interdependencies with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Legal, and country leads — ensuring automation strategy is built in alignment with local market requirements, regulatory constraints, and broader business priorities.
Communicate and influence.
Represent the automation expansion program in weekly business reviews and executive forums, clearly articulating progress, risks, and decisions needed from senior leadership.
We're excited about you because…
You're
organized.
You thrive in creating structure out of ambiguity — defining clear ownership, milestones, and processes in a complex, multi-team environment.
You
solve problems from first principles.
You're excited to tackle challenges in new markets and resist "this is how it's always been done" thinking.
You're
analytical.
You let data win arguments, and you're comfortable pulling your own data in SQL or modeling in Excel to size opportunity, track performance, and inform decisions.
You're
persuasive.
You are an effective communicator — speaking as if you're right and listening as if you're wrong. You can influence across DRIs at all levels, from country leads to senior leadership.
You
act with urgency.
Speed excites you. You move quickly, make decisions with imperfect information, and hold teams accountable to timelines.
You're
relentless.
You do what it takes to drive outcomes, no matter how many teams or time zones are involved.
You have
5+ years of experience
in strategy, operations, management consulting, or a related field — and have successfully delivered results in complex, cross-functional environments. Experience in support strategy, automation, or international expansion is a plus.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
At Deliveroo, we know that a great workplace reflects the world around us and that true diversity and inclusion make us stronger, more creative, and better at what we do. We’re committed to fostering an environment where everyone can do their best work and feel they belong.
We believe in equality of opportunity and welcome candidates from all backgrounds regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic background, religion, or belief.
If you have a disability or long-term health condition and need support to apply for one of our roles, or require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, you’ll have the opportunity to let us know once you’ve submitted your application. We’ll share details on how to request support so we can ensure you have a fair and equitable experience.
If you’re excited about making a real impact in a fast-moving marketplace and growing your career alongside ambitious, supportive teams, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Opportunity
The Trading Systems team builds the mission-critical order, execution, position, and risk infrastructure that powers OKX’s global trading platform. We operate at the intersection of high performance, correctness, resilience, and scale—where every design decision matters.
We are seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to lead the design and evolution of our trading counter and core trading systems. This role is for an engineer who combines deep systems expertise with strong ownership: someone who investigates root causes, raises the quality bar across the engineering lifecycle, and turns individual learning into reusable team capability.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex, high-performance C++ trading systems.
Design reliable distributed systems, including consistency, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies across system boundaries.
Own work end to end—from technical proposals and design reviews through framework refactoring, implementation, deployment, production debugging, replay, and validation.
Solve low-level systems challenges involving networking, protocols, concurrency, memory management, performance, and operating-system-level behaviour.
Drive architectural improvements by identifying systemic issues and anti-patterns, such as overly coupled or “God Class” designs, and redesigning components with clear responsibilities.
Build proactive quality safeguards, including automated testing, failure-injection scenarios, stability validation, monitoring, and replay-based verification.
Design controlled experiments to validate architectural assumptions and diagnose complex production issues beyond surface-level symptoms.
Work effectively across heterogeneous technology stacks, making sound engineering decisions at language, service, and platform boundaries.
Independently explore and apply AI-assisted engineering practices across code understanding, solution design, cross-review, incident analysis, test validation, and knowledge capture.
Raise engineering standards through thoughtful code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvements to development practices.
Mentor engineers and share practical knowledge through documentation, playbooks, technical sessions, and reusable frameworks.
What We Look For In You
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with substantial experience building production C++ systems.
Strong experience designing and evolving complex systems, with a clear understanding of architectural trade-offs.
Proven knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, network programming, and performance optimisation in Linux-based environments.
Hands-on experience with distributed consistency, high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, or other system-level reliability designs.
Strong understanding of computer systems fundamentals, including networking protocols, operating systems, memory, storage, and runtime behaviour.
A track record of taking ownership proactively, from defining the problem to delivering and validating a robust solution.
Exceptional debugging and analytical ability, with a habit of investigating why issues occur—not simply applying short-term fixes.
Experience using automated tests, simulation, replay, or comparative experiments to validate system behaviour and reliability.
Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset; able to turn experience into documentation, standards, and practices that help the whole team.
Nice to Haves
Experience with exchange, brokerage, trading counter, order management, execution, market data, or other low-latency financial systems.
Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, or high-throughput distributed platforms.
Familiarity with Rust, Java, Go, Python, or other languages used in multi-language production environments.
Practical experience applying AI tools to improve software engineering workflows and code quality.
Experience working with globally distributed, cross-functional engineering teams.

Olo is a leading SaaS platform accelerating digital transformation in the restaurant industry, by helping customers deliver more personalised and profitable guest experiences. As a result, our digital ordering, payment, loyalty and guest engagement solutions enable brands to do more with less and make every guest feel like a regular.
While our roots are in NYC, we’re intentionally investing in Belfast and Northern Ireland as a key hub, with an established leadership presence, a local team, and community for the long term. This role is fully remote, offering you flexibility to work from anywhere within NI.
Your new role
In this role, you’ll join as a Software Engineer on the ‘BrandX’ team, which is part of the wider ‘Order Engineering’ group.
BrandX (Brand Experience) builds the tools restaurant brands and Olo's internal teams use to run their business on Olo. We own the Dashboard that brand operators log into every day, the internal Admin application, and the billing and invoicing systems that turn platform usage into invoices. We also own how brands sign in and manage their users, including SSO and two-factor authentication, and we are building Olo AI Assist, a natural-language assistant inside the Dashboard.
The team is seven engineers spread across the US and Europe, and you'd be our first hire in Northern Ireland. Because the team sits between brands, Finance, and the rest of Order Engineering, the work is varied. One week you might be shipping a new Dashboard settings page, the next you're tracing a billing discrepancy across our finance integrations or teaching Olo AI Assist a new skill so a brand can update hours across hundreds of stores just by asking. You'll pair with senior engineers, review and ship code most days, and use Claude Code as a normal part of how you work.
How you’ll make an impact
Learn the BrandX domain and technology stack, and get to know the brands, Finance partners, and Order Engineering teams we work with.
Own small-to-medium features end to end, from understanding the requirement to shipping it, with senior engineers available when you need them.
Write code that meets our standards, and participate in code reviews as both author and reviewer.
Build reliable and maintainable software, with test coverage that matches the risk of the change.
Contribute to the team’s delivery pipeline, including test coverage, CI, and deployment practices.
Use Claude Code and GitHub Copilot as your default way of building, and help the team push what these tools can do.
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, learning how our systems fit together along the way.
Participate in team ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and retrospectives, sharing updates and feedback.
Take part in learning activities, including game days and training sessions, to build familiarity with Olo’s tools and processes.
Join the on-call rotation, with responsibilities that grow as you learn the team’s systems.
What will set you up for success
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
1 to 3 years of professional software engineering experience, or a strong portfolio of shipped projects.
Working knowledge of C# and .NET, and comfort reading code you didn't write.
Some experience building web UIs. We use React and TypeScript, but any modern framework is a fine starting point.
Comfortable with SQL and relational data. A lot of our work is understanding how data moves between systems.
You understand the difference between unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and when each one earns its place.
AI coding agents are your default way of working. You use tools like Claude Code daily, you can explain the fundamentals underneath what they generate, and you're excited about a team that expects you to push them further.
You ask questions early, write things down, and are comfortable working with colleagues in other time zones.
About Olo
Olo is a leading restaurant technology provider with ordering, payment, and guest engagement solutions that help brands increase orders, streamline operations, and improve the guest experience.
