Recognized on the 2025 Forbes Cloud 100 list https://www.forbes.com/companies/clickhouse/?list=cloud100, ClickHouse is one of the most innovative and fast-growing private cloud companies. With more than 4,000 customers and $250M ARR https://clickhouse.com/blog/clickhouse-tops-250m-arr-and-4000-customers, ClickHouse leads the market in real-time analytics, data warehousing, observability, and AI workloads.
The company's sustained, accelerating momentum was recently validated by a $400M Series D financing round https://clickhouse.com/blog/clickhouse-raises-400-million-series-d-acquires-langfuse-launches-postgres. Over the past three months, customers including Capital One, Lovable, Decagon, Polymarket, and Airwallex have adopted the platform or expanded existing deployments. These customers join an established base of AI innovators and global brands such as Meta, Cursor, Sony, and Tesla.
We're on a mission to transform how companies use data. Come be a part of our journey!
We're hiring a Product Manager to own partner integrations at ClickHouse. This role owns how ClickHouse shows up inside the platforms our customers already use: embedded, native experiences across the hyperscalers and developer platforms, and deeper technical integrations with strategic partners like dbt, Fivetran, Hex, and Sigma. There is a growing surface of partner work already in motion, and this role shapes where we invest in co-innovation opportunities.
This is one of the most cross-functional roles at ClickHouse. You'll work across multiple engineering teams, our partnerships and solutions teams, and the partners themselves to deliver meaningful co-innovation and integrations with complementary technologies. You'll own the technical side of our House Mates partner program and be the person who navigates the multi-org reality of getting an integration certified, listed, and live. This is a hands-on role: you'll write the specs, run the partner calls, drive certification processes, and coordinate across teams to get things over the line.
YOU WILL
- Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for ClickHouse's Cloud integrations with strategic partners
- Seek out complementary innovation opportunities with partners. Define what a "better together" integration looks like with each strategic partner, and drive it from joint roadmap through launch.
- Navigate the trade-offs of embedded integrations: billing and metering, identity and auth, security and data residency, and coordination across ClickHouse and partner teams.
- Project-manage complex, multi-org launches: marketplace listings, certification processes, partner co-marketing, and GA timelines across multiple organizations.
- Own the technical standards and certification criteria for integrations submitted through the House Mates partner program.
- Measure and communicate co-innovation business impact, adoption and product strategy to executive leadership.
- Represent ClickHouse externally at partner events and in joint content.
YOU BRING
- Experience shipping integrations into third-party platforms before: hyperscaler marketplaces, embedded or native integrations, ISV partnerships, or OEM/white-label work.
- An understanding of the trade-offs that make or break a partner integration, billing, auth, security, cross-team dependencies, and have made those decisions in the past.
- A strong project management lens and are comfortable owning a launch that depends on five teams across two companies.
- Patience and resilience with partners who are unresponsive or have their own competing priorities, and you find creative ways to keep things moving anyway.
- Technical ability to understand an integration end to end, from provisioning and auth to billing and data flow, and to hold a credible conversation with engineers about APIs, architecture, and technical trade-offs.
- Energy and excitement for external-facing work: partner calls, customer conversations, and representing the product publicly.
- Hands-on and high ownership ability. You write the specs, run the partner calls, and stay close to the details.
- Comfort in ambiguity and fast-moving environments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on experience building partner integrations with hyperscalers and modern technology companies.
- Experience running or supporting a technology partner program.
- Background at a database or data infrastructure company; familiarity with ClickHouse or peers like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
- Experience working in remote, multi-timezone environments.
PERKS
- Flexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly. We currently operate in over 25 countries.
- Healthcare - Employer contributions towards your healthcare.
- Equity in the company - Every new team member who joins our company receives stock options.
- Time off - Flexible time off in the US, generous entitlement in other countries.
- A USD$500 Home office setup if you’re a remote employee.
- Global Gatherings – We believe in the power of in-person connection and offer opportunities to engage with colleagues at company-wide offsites.
CULTURE - WE ALL SHAPE IT
As part of a rapidly scaling start-up, you will be instrumental in shaping our culture.

An overview of this role
As Director, Analytics Engineering, you'll lead a team of 8 and report to the VP of Data & Insights. You set direction across the data organization, stay close enough to the work to guide technical decisions credibly, and partner with Data Engineering, Data Science, IT, and business leaders.
You will have three mandates:
Build trusted, AI-ready self-service.
Deliver a semantic model that answers business questions correctly, with the telemetry, evals, and model flexibility to prove it and keep costs in check.
Set the strategy for how GitLab accesses data.
Own the data models, BI tools, and AI access patterns (Claude, MCP servers, Slack agents) that put trusted data in everyone's hands.
Build data applications the whole company relies on.
Ship production-grade apps that combine trusted data, APIs, and AI to answer questions dashboards can't.
What you'll do
Build and own a trusted semantic model, with governed metrics and business definitions, that answers business questions consistently across every tool
Build evals and ground-truth datasets that measure answer quality, and use them to drive improvements and catch regressions
Instrument telemetry to see who uses the semantic model and AI tools, what they ask, and where they get stuck
Build a model-selection harness so GitLab can route work across LLMs and stay flexible on cost and quality
Own data modeling and curated datasets for self-service, with the ownership, data contracts, testing, and documentation that make them AI-ready
Define the AI data access strategy: when to use BI, Claude, MCP servers, or Slack agents, with the governance and security to keep access trusted and reliable
Own the enterprise BI and self-service tools strategy (e.g., Tableau, Omni), including evaluation, adoption, and cost
Build self-service capabilities, such as Claude skills, documentation, and guided workflows, that help people find and use data on their own
Build and own company-wide data applications, from Claude-built single-page apps to apps inside BI tools, that combine Snowflake data, API calls, AI-powered deep dives, and write-back to Postgres or Snowflake
Set engineering standards for data apps (security, authentication, testing, deployment, and monitoring) so they're reliable at company scale
Set a long-range roadmap tied to company strategy, and a lightweight operating model that balances urgent stakeholder needs with investment in reusable data products and tech-debt reduction
Hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team of 8: build career paths, develop leaders, distribute ownership, and recognize great work
Act as customer zero for GitLab and GitLab Duo in data workflows, sharing feedback with Product and Engineering
What you'll bring
12+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI, including 5+ years leading teams and 2+ years managing managers or senior leads
Deep expertise in data modeling and semantic layers (e.g., dbt Semantic Layer, Snowflake semantic views, LookML, Cube), and expert dbt, including testing and CI/CD across a multi-team project
Hands-on experience building LLM-powered data access (text-to-SQL, agents, MCP servers), including evals and telemetry for answer quality, and advanced use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code
Expert SQL and strong Snowflake experience; working knowledge of Python
Strong data governance experience: data quality, lineage, certified datasets, and access controls (RBAC, row access and masking policies)
Track record of leading cross-functional data initiatives from strategy through adoption and measurable business impact, including enterprise BI and self-service at scale
Systems thinker who sees how models, pipelines, and architecture decisions connect, and designs for second-order effects
Exceptional communicator who writes clear technical specs, sets a clear vision, makes trade-offs visible, and influences executives and peers across the company
Pragmatic in ambiguity: makes sound decisions on emerging technology and ships the right next version rather than waiting for the ideal end state
Able to use GitLab, thrive in an all-remote, asynchronous company, model GitLab's remote working competencies, and work in line with GitLab's values
Nice to Have
Experience with LLM routing or gateway tools and managing model costs
Experience with Tableau, Omni, or a BI platform migration
Experience with web app development (e.g., React, TypeScript) and Postgres
Experience owning finance or revenue-critical data (e.g., ARR, consumption) where accuracy and auditability are non-negotiable
About the Team
Analytics Engineering makes GitLab's data trusted, easy to find, and ready for anyone to use, whether they ask a dashboard, Claude, or a Slack agent. We own the curated data models, the semantic layer, the self-service tools, and the data applications that let teams answer their own questions.
AI is changing how people get to data. Questions that once went through an analyst now go straight to AI tools, so the answers are only as good as the data models and business definitions behind them. Our job is to make those answers correct, consistent, and measurable.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the commission platform end to end, including plan configuration, crediting rules, user access, and changes each plan year.
- Build and maintain the data flows between Salesforce, the commission tool, HRIS and payroll so that bookings, roster changes and payouts stay in sync.
- Turn new plan designs, deal types and SPIFs into working system logic, and test them before they go live.
- Automate manual steps, build self-serve dashboards on attainment and payout cost for reps and leaders, and keep clear documentation for every rule and process.
- Partner with Accounting on monthly close: deliver commission accruals, reconcile commissionable bookings to billing and revenue, and support commission capitalization.
- Keep employee changes (hires, transfers, leaves, and exits) accurate in the commission system, and manage role-based access so pay data stays confidential.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years in sales compensation systems, commissions operations, or a related RevOps or finance systems role.
- Hands-on experience administering a sales compensation platform such as CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Spiff or Varicent, including building plans and calculation logic from scratch.
- Strong Salesforce knowledge: objects, fields, reports, and how opportunity and booking data flows into commission calculations.
- Working knowledge of commission accounting, including accruals, month-end close, and reconciling payouts to the general ledger.
- Experience integrating an HRIS (e.g., Workday) with a commission platform, and sound judgment handling sensitive employee and pay data.
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience managing a commission platform at a fast-growing company.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.
WHAT WE OFFER
We want our benefits to reflect our values and offer the following to full-time employees:
- Flexible (unlimited) paid time off
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits for you and your family
- Life insurance and disability benefits
- Retirement plan dependent on country of employment
- Parental leave
- Fertility and family building benefits through Carrot
- Lunch, as well as delicious snacks and coffee to keep you energized

Eligible full-time employees can participate in Sierra's equity plans subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
BE YOU, WITH US

To do so, it is important to us that the diversity of our employees represents the diversity of our customers. - Human data platform: the labelling and evaluation platform research uses to continuously improve our models. You’ll ship new task editors, improve reliability, catch misuse and build the metrics behind higher-quality data pipelines.
- Core productions engine: the backend machine nobody sees but everybody relies on. You’ll build and maintain the services that run our production workflows, with room to lead projects.
- Editor platform: the professional editing tools our production teams work in. You’ll build in Rust, combining UI systems with a deep understanding of the underlying system.
We’re building professional tools and core infrastructure, not consumer features. The work is mostly building, with little hand-holding. You’ll carve out your own scope and own the outcome.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience, ideally in functional programming languages like Rust, with a full-stack focus on designing UI systems. You’ve shipped and run production systems end to end.
- Experience making systems reliable and scalable, such as internal platforms, workflow or task engines, or data pipelines. You take pride in the infrastructure nobody sees but everybody relies on.
- Comfortable switching between building a new tool or editor and hardening the platform underneath it, and keen to lead projects when the opportunity arises.
- Opinionated and able to defend your ideas, but know when to just grind. You’re happy doing the unglamorous work, and you’re hungry.
Bonus:
- Experience building editor or UI-heavy professional tools, with a systems-level understanding of what sits underneath.
- Experience with data labelling or annotation platforms, or managing crowdsourced workforces.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

🎯 Your main goal will be to identify and reduce security risks across n8n's product and internal systems, using threat modelling, hands-on security expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to help teams design, build, and operate more secure systems.
You'll join our growing security team at a pivotal stage, acting as a trusted security partner to teams across the business. You'll help us build a move from reactive security management to a proactive, scalable security practice.
Here's what you'll be driving:
THREAT MODELLING, RISK ASSESSMENT & SECURITY DESIGN
- Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments across product features, AI agents, cloud infrastructure, corporate IT, internal applications, and data systems, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending practical mitigations.
- Partner with Engineering, Cloud, IT, and Data teams to review security designs, define actionable security requirements, and influence the implementation of appropriate controls.

VULNERABILITY MANAGEMENT & COORDINATED DISCLOSURE
- Participate in the security triage rotation, assessing incoming vulnerability reports, validating findings, and prioritising remediation based on severity and business impact.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to coordinate vulnerability remediation, verify fixes, and support secure patch and release processes.

CUSTOMER TRUST & COMPLIANCE ENGINEERING
- Support SOC 2 compliance by helping establish continuous control monitoring, automated evidence collection, and processes that make security assurance part of everyday operations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to respond to customer security assessments and build reusable resources that streamline future requests.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to assess security risks, improve security policies and controls, and strengthen trust with enterprise customers.
We're hiring two Security Engineers with complementary strengths, so you don't need to be an expert in every security domain.

- 🛠️ Technical Security Expertise: You can validate security findings, reproduce vulnerabilities, develop proof-of-concepts, and write code or automation when needed to demonstrate risks or improve security processes.
- 🔐 Security Engineering Experience: You've worked hands-on in infrastructure, product, or application security within a product-focused organisation, with a strong understanding of how modern systems are designed and secured.
- 🤝 Cross-functional Influence: You're comfortable acting as an internal security consultant, advising teams, challenging technical decisions constructively, and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- 🎯 Risk Remediation & Ownership: You've helped secure systems you don't directly own, translating security findings into actionable requirements and working with responsible teams to ensure effective remediation.
- 🤖 AI & LLM Fluency: You're comfortable using LLM-assisted tooling and understand its limitations, security implications, and potential failure modes.
- ✍️ Clear Communication: You can explain complex security risks, document technical findings, and provide practical guidance that engineers and non-technical stakeholders can confidently act on.
You also bring deep expertise in at least two of the following areas:
- 💻 Application Security: You've developed security checks, engineering guardrails, tooling, or guidance that helps product teams build and ship secure software.
- ☁️ Platform Security: You have experience securing a major cloud provider and Kubernetes environments, including areas such as sandboxing, multi-tenancy, or identity.

- 🚨 Security Monitoring: You've implemented logging, protective monitoring, or security detection capabilities that support effective investigation and incident response.
- 📋 Security Assurance & Compliance: You've supported SOC 2 or ISO 27001 from an engineering perspective, including implementing technical controls or automating compliance evidence collection.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🐛 Vulnerability Disclosure: You've helped operate bug bounty or coordinated vulnerability disclosure programmes, including publishing security advisories such as GHSAs or CVEs.
- 🧠 AI & Agent Security: You have experience assessing or securing LLM-powered applications and AI agents, including risks related to permissions, tool access, prompt injection, or sensitive data.
- 🏢 Corporate IT Tooling: You're familiar with platforms such as Okta, Azure, or Drata and their role in securing corporate systems and supporting compliance.
- 🌍 Open-source Ecosystems: You've worked with open-source or source-available products, contributed to security communities, or are already familiar with n8n.
- 🎯 Penetration Testing: You have practical penetration testing experience and can independently identify, demonstrate, and help remediate security vulnerabilities.
- 🌱 Early-stage Security Experience: You've been an early security hire or helped establish security practices in a startup or rapidly scaling organisation.
Why join us?
At n8n, you'll help shape security at a defining stage of our growth. We're building a security practice that goes beyond reacting to vulnerabilities, and you'll play a key role in how we identify risks, influence engineering decisions, and establish security practices that scale with the business.

An overview of this role
As Director, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), you'll lead finance for GitLab's Research & Development (R&D) organization, our largest operating expense area. You'll be the strategic finance partner to our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and their leadership team, owning R&D planning, forecasting, and investment decisions.
R&D builds our AI-powered development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) platform, which more than 100,000 organizations use. You'll connect investment in headcount, infrastructure, AI and cloud usage, and tooling to product outcomes, with clear measurement and reliable forecasts.
You'll sit at the CTO's staff table, shape GitLab's long-range plan, and help leadership decide where to invest next, making R&D spend predictable.
What you’ll do
Serve as the finance advisor to the CTO and R&D leadership. Hold partners accountable for execution against plan and connect R&D priorities to company financial targets.
Lead annual planning, and rolling forecasts for R&D. Own the operating plan across headcount, compensation, contractors, hosting and cloud, AI and large language model (LLM) costs, software, and tooling.
Build frameworks that connect R&D investment to product roadmap outcomes. Evaluate business cases for new initiatives, AI capabilities, build-versus-buy decisions, and vendor commitments, and present risks and opportunities to leadership.
Define and track R&D efficiency metrics, including R&D spend as a percentage of revenue, cost per engineer, hosting cost per user, and AI inference cost per feature. Identify large-scale savings and reallocation opportunities and see them through to completion.
Partner with People and R&D leaders on hiring plans, location strategy, and organizational design. Keep headcount forecasts accurate and reconciled to actuals.
Lead the AI transformation of R&D finance. Rethink planning, forecasting, and reporting workflows, and use AI tools to make them faster, more accurate, and more insightful.
Redesign FP&A processes, policies, and planning and reporting systems for efficiency and effectiveness, with AI in the center. Work with Accounting on capitalized software, accruals, and allocations, and with Procurement on process improvements.
Lead and develop your R&D finance team:: hire and coach team members, set goals and priorities, and give expert feedback. Put GitLab's values into practice through handbook-first, asynchronous collaboration across time zones.
What you’ll bring
Extensive finance experience, including serving as the lead finance partner to an R&D, Engineering, or Product organization plus experience leading a team of analysts
A strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and R&D cost drivers, including engineering headcount, cloud hosting, AI and LLM usage, software licenses, and capitalized software development.
Experience leading process redesign and change in a finance team, including hands-on use of AI tools to improve how work gets done.
Expertise in influencing senior technical stakeholders and translating complex analysis into clear recommendations for executives.
Advanced financial modeling skills that follow industry best practices, expertise in Google Sheets, and hands-on experience with financial and data visualization tools. We don't use Excel for modeling.
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Comfort working remotely and asynchronously, and the ability to use GitLab.
Preferred experience includes enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) finance; direct CTO partnership; NetSuite, Sisense, Adaptive Planning, or SQL; or a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.

Ruby Labs is a leading tech company that creates and operates innovative consumer products. We offer a diverse range of opportunities across the health, education, and entertainment industries. Our innovative teams are driving the future of consumer-led products, and we're always looking for passionate individuals to join us. Learn more about our story at: https://rubylabs.com/about-us/
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior User Acquisition Manager to take full ownership of paid social acquisition for one of our products. Meta, Snapchat and TikTok are key channels for our product, alongside other paid social networks. This is a senior, hands-on media buying role with end-to-end ownership. You will own the whole paid social acquisition process: strategy, account structure, bidding, budget allocation, creative testing, measurement, scaling and account health. You decide what to test, what to scale and what to cut, and you are accountable for the results. We need someone who has scaled paid social at volume, who knows how to grow in a policy-sensitive niche, and who can operate independently on large budgets.
You will manage performance against real revenue data (CPA, ROAS, payback, LTV and cohorts), not surface-level platform metrics. We also work AI-first, and we expect you to use Claude and automation to move faster.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the process end-to-end: take full ownership of paid social acquisition across TikTok, Meta, Snapchat and other paid social networks: planning, launch, optimization, scaling, reporting and documentation.
- Lead on TikTok: own and scale TikTok as the primary acquisition channel, including account structure, campaign types (including Smart+ / automated formats and Spark Ads), bidding, optimization events and creative strategy.
- Scale spend profitably while holding payback, ROAS and CPA targets based on real revenue and customer-value data.
- Build and optimize account structure, conversion events, value-based bidding and budget allocation across paid social networks.
- Decide budget allocation across TikTok, Meta, Snapchat and other paid social networks, and find new scaling levers: audiences, formats, placements, campaign types and additional networks.
- Run a structured, high-velocity creative testing process with the creative team on all networks, with clear hypotheses and kill/scale rules.
- Manage signal quality: conversion events, event value, purchase optimization and attribution.
- Operate in a policy-sensitive niche: run acquisition within each platform's rules. Keep ads compliant, handle disapprovals, appeals and restrictions, and build prevention-first processes so issues are caught before launch.
- Protect account health: manage ad account structure, backups and recovery plans.
- Work with platform reps on betas, new campaign types and escalations.
- Diagnose drops and spikes quickly and act on them.
- Document tests, learnings and playbooks, and use Claude and automation to speed up builds, QA, reporting and optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of hands-on paid social / user acquisition experience.
- Large-scale experience running paid social acquisition.
- Proven experience working in policy-sensitive niches and keeping accounts healthy while scaling.
- Strong hands-on TikTok, Meta and Snapchat Ads experience, scaling them profitably.
- Working experience across other paid social channels is a plus.
- Direct ownership of large budgets, ideally $1M+/month hands-on.
- Strong understanding of subscription / app economics: LTV, ROAS, payback windows, cohorts, high-value-user dynamics and value-based optimization.
- Deep policy and account health experience: disapprovals, appeals, restrictions, ad account bans and how to recover from and prevent them.
- Strong creative testing discipline and measurement rigor.
- Ownership mentality: you run channels end-to-end with minimal supervision and take responsibility for outcomes.

MANAGER, COMMERCIAL SALES - WEST
Location: US West (remote), strong interest for San Francisco
THE ROLE
Our commercial segment is one of the more technically demanding sales environments in the industry. Our buyers are data engineers, platform architects, and technical founders — and the AEs who succeed here do so because they can meet those buyers as peers, not vendors. Building and leading that team requires someone who has done it themselves and knows what great looks like.
As Manager of Commercial Sales at ClickHouse, you'll own the performance, development, and culture of our Commercial AE team. You'll be expected to live in the details — reviewing pipelines, sitting on calls, pressure-testing deal strategy, and knowing every meaningful opportunity in the book. The best managers in this role won't be directing from a distance; they'll be the person their reps turn to when a deal gets complicated. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from a dashboard. It's a role for someone who wants to build something.
You'll inherit a team that has real momentum, as our Commercial segment represents a significant % of our overall business.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Account Executives selling into the sub-250 employee segment — helping them close faster, think more technically, and operate with greater autonomy over time.
- Own the Commercial segment number. You're accountable for team attainment, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy — and you'll be expected to have a clear point of view on both at any given moment.
- Spend time in deals. Review deals, join customer conversations when it matters, and help your reps navigate the technical and commercial complexity that defines this segment.
- Hire exceptional people. The Commercial AE profile is rare: technically credible, commercially hungry, and able to operate without hand-holding. You know how to find and close that person.
- Build the playbook. Document what's working, codify best practices, and create repeatable frameworks for technical discovery, objection handling, and deal progression that the team can scale.
- Partner cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Marketing to ensure the Commercial team has the support, enablement, and feedback loops they need to win.
- Identify patterns across the pipeline — where deals stall, where we lose, and where we consistently win — and use those insights to improve team performance and inform product and GTM decisions.
- Contribute to the broader Commercial strategy, including segmentation, coverage model, and how we evolve the motion as the team scales.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A track record of success as a quota-carrying AE in a technical sales environment — you've sold data infrastructure, developer tooling, or a similarly technical product to engineering buyers and you know what that motion actually requires.
- Experience leading or mentoring other sellers, whether in a formal management role or as a senior IC who took ownership of team development. You know how to coach, not just direct.
- Technical credibility. You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to earn respect in rooms full of them. You understand the modern data stack, can hold a conversation about architecture, and know enough to identify when a deal is stalling for technical reasons vs. commercial ones.
- Strong commercial instincts. You can read a pipeline, spot sandbagging, identify risk early, and have an honest forecast conversation with leadership without needing a week to prepare.
- A builder mentality. The playbook is still being written. You're comfortable operating in that environment and energized by the opportunity to shape it rather than frustrated by the ambiguity.
- Genuine investment in people development. Your reps' growth is your growth. You give direct feedback, create space for people to fail safely, and take accountability for the development of everyone on your team.
WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
The Commercial segment at ClickHouse is technically differentiated, growing fast, and still finding its ceiling. The person who leads it will have a direct hand in shaping how one of the most important data infrastructure companies in the industry goes to market — and will build a team that reflects their own standard of excellence.
