Are you ready to join our digital revolution journey?
At Aleph, we’re not just part of the digital advertising landscape—we’re shaping its future. Representing the world’s leading platforms, including TikTok, Amazon, Google, and nearly 55 others, we operate in 130+ markets across new and existing geographies.
Our mission is to empower advertisers and brands to unlock the full potential of these platforms' advertising capabilities. By fostering long-lasting partnerships, we create limitless opportunities for people and businesses to advertise effectively at both local and global levels.
With a presence spanning continents, Aleph offers you the chance to be part of a fast-growing, innovative team where your work makes a direct impact. If you’re ambitious, forward-thinking, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, global environment, Aleph is the perfect place to build your career.
Role Purpose
As Audit & Compliance Manager, Europe, you will be the primary owner of audit readiness and tax regulatory compliance across all Europe entities. You will set the standard, structure and cadence for how the region prepares for and manages statutory audits, global group audits, and tax authority engagement — working through the local reporting teams and external accountants who handle data preparation, review and submission, rather than performing that work yourself. Your role is to define how things get done, ensure consistent quality across every market, and be the region's face in front of auditors and tax authorities.
What Makes This Role Different:
Build, don't just maintain.
You're stepping into a newly created position with a mandate to design the region's audit and compliance approach from the ground up — not inherit a fixed process.
Full regional ownership.
This role spans the entire Europe region.
High visibility, real stakes.
You'll be the direct point of contact with external auditors and tax authorities on some of the company's most sensitive matters, with senior leadership relying on your judgment.
A technology-forward environment.
The business is actively investing in automation, AI and dashboarding to modernize reporting — you'll be expected to bring ideas here, not just adopt what's handed to you.
Cross-functional reach.
You'll work closely with the Tax, Transfer Pricing and Legal teams, and directly with hub-entity finance teams, on issues spanning VAT, customer transactions and company-wide reviews.
What You'll Do:
1. Statutory & Global Audit Leadership
Audit Lifecycle Ownership:
Lead the end-to-end process for local statutory audits and global group audits across all 23 countries — planning, coordinating PBC (Provided by Client) lists, and driving on-time sign-off.
External Auditor Relationship:
Act as the primary regional point of contact for audit firms, owning timelines and resolution of open items.
Consolidation Alignment:
Ensure local statutory filings align with Global/Group reporting timelines (IFRS/US GAAP/local GAAP) for a seamless audit process.
Pre-Audit Structuring:
Work with local teams ahead of each audit cycle to define what needs to be prepared and how — so the region walks into every audit with a consistent, proactive structure rather than reacting to auditor requests.
2. Tax Governance & Regulatory Compliance
Filing Oversight:
Ensure accurate, on-time submission across VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), Corporate Income Tax, and country-specific statistical and national bank reporting — delivered through local reporting teams and external accountants, with you owning quality and timeliness.
Tax Team Liaison:
Standardize and oversee submission of supporting data to the central Tax team; ensure schedules provided for assessments are reconciled and audit-ready.
Notice & Assessment Management:
Proactively manage tax notices and audits, coordinating evidence-gathering and working with the Tax team to ensure timely, well-supported responses.
Corporate Secretarial Support:
Oversee annual filings and coordinate with Legal on board meeting minutes (financial aspects) and other local regulatory requirements.
3. Process Improvement & Digital Transformation
Root Cause Analysis:
Identify recurring audit adjustments or tax queries and implement structural fixes to eliminate them at the source.
Internal Controls:
Strengthen the control environment across the region to minimize audit findings.
Technology & Automation:
Identify and champion tools — including AI and dashboarding — to reduce manual work and increase consistency across the region's reporting.
What We're Looking For:
Mindset & Soft Skills (critical to this role)
A challenger, not a process-follower — someone who questions how things are done today and proposes a better way, rather than simply executing an existing playbook.
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-volume, occasionally chaotic environment, and energized rather than fatigued by it.
Strong communicator and team player who can build trust quickly across Tax, Legal, Transfer Pricing and local finance teams.
Strategic mindset with the ability to zoom out across markets while staying close enough to the detail to be credible with auditors and tax authorities.
Experience & Technical Skills
Currently operating at Manager level (or equivalent) within an audit firm or a multinational's in-house compliance/audit function — this is not a developmental hire.
10–12+ years of post-qualification experience, with hands-on exposure to multi-country compliance in Europe.
Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or ACCA qualification.
Solid working knowledge of IFRS, European tax regulations, and Transfer Pricing fundamentals.
Advanced proficiency with Tier-1 ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
Fluent English, written and spoken — required given daily interaction with regional and global stakeholders.
Strong project management and negotiation skills, with the ability to work confidently across time zones and cultures.
In line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, we are committed to fair and open compensation practices. For this role, the minimum gross annual base salary is EUR 40,000.
In addition to base salary, this role includes a variable component, paid annually. The final offer will reflect your experience, skills, and the scope of the role.

Proficient English, both written and verbal (essential); additional languages relevant to the regions covered are a plus.
Experience working in a global or regional setting, managing competing priorities across multiple entities, time zones and stakeholders.
A proactive, self-starting mindset: you chase outstanding items and flag issues before they become problems, without needing to be prompted.
A genuine interest in administrative, operational and process-oriented legal work, with a clear wish to build and grow in this type of role over the long term.
Why Join Aleph
Real impact:
You become the operational backbone of the legal function, keeping contracts, signatures, entity records and bank KYC/KYB requests moving across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
Room to grow:
This is a long-term path into legal operations, a discipline that is growing quickly in Spain, with direct exposure to global legal leads, ERP processes and external law firms.

In this role, you'll work closely with customers and GitLab's product and engineering teams to drive customer success and share feedback that improves GitLab and how we deliver services. Some examples of our projects:
Designing and delivering GitLab installations and reference architectures using tools like Terraform and Ansible across major cloud providers
Leading migrations to GitLab SaaS or self-managed GitLab, and turning customer feedback into actionable improvements for GitLab's product and engineering teams

Plan and execute deployments ranging from single-node Omnibus installations to large reference architectures using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code practices.
Lead migrations from multiple source systems to GitLab SaaS or self-managed GitLab, helping customers adopt secure, reliable workflows.
Partner with Engagement Managers and Project Managers to improve delivery consistency, remove friction, and continuously refine delivery processes.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers, translating goals and constraints into practical implementation plans and clear next steps.
Interface with GitLab's product and engineering teams to unblock customer outcomes and share feedback that helps improve GitLab features and services.
Mentor Associate and Intermediate Professional Services Engineers, providing technical guidance, helping remove blockers, and supporting increased autonomy.
Manage and deliver multiple customer engagements at once, either as the primary engineer or as a lead providing oversight and direction to other engineers.
What you’ll bring
Professional exposure with one or more infrastructure as code or configuration as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, or Chef.
Professional exposure with two or more cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
Experience using, deploying, or configuring GitLab, including a solid understanding of Git and source control workflows.
Experience delivering customer-facing services such as installation, migration, training, and advisory engagements across GitLab's feature set.
Proven ability to independently manage one or more projects and to lead and provide direction to other Professional Services Engineers on complex engagements.
Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear status updates and build consensus with peers and customers in a remote, largely asynchronous environment.
Demonstrated ability to take a solution-oriented approach by identifying root causes, proposing options and tradeoffs, and driving issues to resolution while balancing multiple customer engagements in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fully remote organization by communicating clearly in writing, documenting decisions, collaborating asynchronously across time zones, and working in ways consistent with GitLab's values.
Must be located in Japan and have full working rights in Japan

We're looking for a proactive, resourceful, and AI-forward Tech & Marketing Operations Specialist to manage our technology projects, keep our learning platforms running seamlessly, and power the marketing engine that brings students to them
This role suits someone with a broad technical fluency who thrives on coordination, troubleshooting, and hands-on building. You don't need to be a professional developer, but you do need to be comfortable using tech tools to design, prototype, and ship real solutions.
The position will be based at the Madrid office with a hybrid work model.
What You’ll Do
Platform & Systems Management
Tech project management:
Manage technology-related projects end to end — defining requirements, building timelines, tracking progress, and identifying improvements that serve broader project goals.
LMS management (WordPress & LearnDash):
Own the day-to-day health of our WordPress-based LMS and LearnDash plugin — user administration, course administration, email flows, bulk imports, new features, configuration, and troubleshooting.
CRM & Marketing Automation (Salesforce & Salesforce Marketing Cloud):
Act as first point of contact for Salesforce and SFMC — build and test journeys, landing pages, and lead magnets; investigate and resolve issues the Operations team can't solve; escalate and follow up when needed.
System integration:
Serve as the architect making sure LMS, CRM, Marketing Cloud, and Power BI talk to each other correctly — designing and implementing the technical architecture for data flows between platforms, including low-code integrations.
Data integrity & reporting:
Review data integrity across LearnDash, Salesforce, and Power BI; execute queries and build reports/extracts for non-technical stakeholders; handle large-scale data reviews (including million-row datasets) when needed.
Website support:
Provide general technical support for the website and coordinate with relevant resources to resolve issues.
Compliance & security:
Help bring the LMS environment up to the organization's IT and security standards, acting as liaison between the Education team, developers/cloud providers, and Security/Legal/IT.
Marketing Operations & Growth
Campaign execution:
Build, test, and launch email and lifecycle campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud — segmentation, audience building, A/B tests, send scheduling, and deliverability hygiene.
Landing pages & lead capture:
Build and ship landing pages and forms based on designs provided by the internal design team; ensure correct lead routing into Salesforce, field mapping, deduplication, and follow-up automation.
Tracking & attribution:
Own the measurement layer — GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion pixels, UTM taxonomy and enforcement — so that every campaign, source, and channel is measurable end to end.
Lifecycle & retention automation:
Design automated flows across the student lifecycle (onboarding, course progress nudges, re-engagement, certification, upsell) connecting LMS events to CRM and Marketing Cloud triggers.
Martech stack & compliance:
Own the marketing technology stack and its integrations; keep consent management, cookie compliance, and data handling aligned with privacy requirements and company policy.
AI for marketing:
Apply the same builder mindset to marketing — AI-assisted copy and creative variants, campaign localization at scale, automated performance summaries, and audience insight tooling.
Technical Bridge & Coordination
Stakeholder liaison:
Serve as a primary point of contact between internal stakeholders (especially the development team) and business operations, translating business needs into functional technical specifications.
Specification writing & QA:
Write clear technical specs, replicate scenarios, and fully test in QA and production before rollout.
Documentation:
Keep the operations manual and technical documentation current and useful for the team.
Cross-functional project leadership:
Lead multi-month initiatives (e.g., new catalog builds, platform redesigns, global/language expansions, migrations) from scoping through to launch — defining KPIs, coordinating between design/development/vendors, and testing at every step.
AI Development & Innovation
AI builder mindset:
Go beyond being “AI-savvy” — actively explore, prototype, and build AI-powered solutions that improve how the team works and how students learn (e.g., translation tools, automation of repetitive data tasks, AI-assisted reporting).
Tool development:
Design and build practical AI tools and workflows (e.g., custom Gemini/Claude “gems”/assistants, scripts, or low-code automations) to solve real operational bottlenecks — not just use off-the-shelf AI features.
Exploration & evaluation:
Stay current on emerging AI tools and platforms relevant to EdTech operations, and proactively propose where they could create value (efficiency, personalization, translation, content scaling, etc.).
AI project ownership:
Take end-to-end ownership of AI-driven initiatives — from investigating alternatives and setting up integrations, to testing and rolling out to production (as previously done with AI-powered course translation tooling).
Responsible use:
Use AI tools in a way that's compliant with company confidentiality and data-security standards, and only with company-approved systems.
What You Need For This Role
You have a solid, broad understanding of technology and digital platforms, and you're comfortable getting hands-on rather than just directing others.
You have
5+ years
of experience managing Education and Marketing tech projects.
You are genuinely
curious about AI
and see it as a tool to build with, not just a topic to discuss — you've built something with AI before (a workflow, an automation, an integration, a tool).
You bring project management skills with a track record of leading initiatives from scope to delivery.
You're a strong communicator who moves comfortably between technical and non-technical audiences.
You're a proactive problem-solver, able to identify needs and find the right solutions, people, and tools without waiting to be asked.
You understand
marketing funnels
and growth metrics (CPL, CAC, conversion rate, LTV) and can translate them into technical requirements.
Hands-on experience with marketing automation and campaign tooling (Salesforce Marketing Cloud strongly preferred) is highly valued.
Familiarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking setups is a strong plus.
You are comfortable owning both the plumbing and the outcome — not just that the campaign sends, but that it performs.
Experience with WordPress and/or LMS platforms (ideally LearnDash) is a strong plus.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce/Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred) and data/BI tools (Power BI) is highly valued.
You're highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple concurrent projects.
You're a self-starter, comfortable working independently.
What Will Make Us Really Love You
You bring a track record of success in a similar role, with hands-on experience.
You’re not afraid to challenge the status quo and bring fresh, out-of-the-box ideas to the table.
You anticipate challenges before they arise and take initiative to find effective solutions.
You have an eye for detail.
You thrive on teamwork but also bring a driven, goal-oriented spirit.
You’re genuinely enthusiastic about advertising, ad-tech, and staying ahead of industry trends.
You have the ability to engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a positive and approachable way.

We care about your individuality by giving you freedom to grow and create within the company, regardless of your position
