Own non-functional requirements, including scalability, resiliency, security, latency, and cost.
Collaborate with business, technology, and ISV teams to define scope, estimates, timelines, milestones, and phased delivery plans.
Provide cost inputs and trade-off analysis (build vs. configure, in-house vs. ISV-delivered).
Evaluate requirements against OMS OOB capabilities before recommending customization.
Document OOB versus custom decisions and rationale.
Define architectural standards, coding guidelines, integration patterns, and governance processes.
Establish architecture review checkpoints and maintain architecture documentation.
Lead solution workshops, architecture reviews, and trade-off discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
Represent architecture decisions in client governance forums.
Domain & Technical Expertise
Strong B2B OMS domain knowledge, including order lifecycle, inventory/allocation, fulfillment orchestration, and returns.
Preference for direct Burgeon OMS experience; experience with standalone OMS products and ERP-embedded OMS modules (e.g., Oracle EBS Order Management) is relevant.
Knowledge of OMS integrations with Payment Gateways, PLM, Loyalty Platforms, Recommendation Engines, WMS, and Promotion Frameworks.
Expertise in Java/J2EE, microservices, event-driven architecture, RESTful services, and integration patterns.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, preferably AWS, including Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Kinesis, Secrets Manager, and S3.
Engineering, Governance & Support
Define and enforce Agile delivery practices, architecture governance, and CI/CD standards.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Every request that hits Claude — from
claude.ai
, the API, our cloud partners, or internal research — depends on a set of decisions made before it ever reaches a model: where each request should be served and how much capacity each model needs right now. Getting those decisions right is crucial to satisfying throughput, reliability, and latency constraints. This group builds the control plane that makes those decisions for Anthropic's inference fleet and own the inference request path.
This is a deeply technical group. The engineers here design placement and load-balancing algorithms, build quantitative models of demand, capacity, and system performance, improve latency across kernel, network, and framework boundaries, and reason carefully about how a change to the fleet ripples through everything that depends on it.
You'll lead a strong group of ML platform, infrastructure, and distributed-systems engineers working alongside the teams that build our ML internals and cloud infrastructure. You need enough systems depth to make architectural calls, hire people who go deep, and see when a proposed change will ripple across the fleet. You're accountable for the health of the whole path from request to model: its efficiency, its reliability, and how well it evolves as models, hardware, and clouds change underneath it.
Key responsibilities
Own the technical roadmap for how the inference fleet is coordinated — where traffic goes, where capacity lives, how caches are placed, how fast the system reacts to demand, and the protocols that keep the control plane and the inference engines in sync
Partner with the product, inference engine, performance, and capacity teams to identify throughput, latency, utilization, and cost wins, then turn those into shipped improvements with measurable results
Build the group's habit of quantitative modeling: claim a win only when you can measure it, and know before you ship what the expected effect is
Set technical strategy for how the control plane evolves across heterogeneous hardware, across multiple cloud providers, and across all our serving surfaces
Run the group's operational backbone — on-call rotations, incident response, postmortem review, deploy safety — so the teams can ship aggressively without the system becoming fragile
Create clarity at a seam: this group sits between the API surface, the inference engines, capacity planning, and the cloud deployment teams
Develop and retain strong existing teams, and hire against a high technical bar
Coach engineers through a roadmap where priorities shift
Shape team structure as the scope grows: decide where the boundaries between problem areas should sit, and grow leads who can own each
Pick up slack when it matters. These are small teams on a critical path; sometimes the EM is the one unblocking a stuck initiative or synthesizing a design debate
Minimum qualifications
Engineering management experience leading teams on critical-path production infrastructure at scale
A deep systems background — load balancing, scheduling, cluster orchestration, autoscaling, cache-coherent distributed state, high-performance networking, or similar — with enough depth to make architectural calls about how a large fleet is coordinated and to evaluate candidates who go to the kernel and framework level
Experience shipping performance or efficiency improvements in large-scale systems, and the ability to explain, with numbers, what the impact was — including the cost side, not just the latency side
Experience running production infrastructure with real operational stakes: on-call, incident response, capacity events, deploy discipline
A results-oriented, impact-driven approach, and comfort working in a space where throughput, latency, cost, stability, launch timelines, and feature velocity all pull in different directions
Ability to build strong relationships across team boundaries — this is a seam role, and much of the job is making sure other teams can rely on yours
Curiosity about machine learning systems — you don't need an ML research background, but you should want to learn how transformer inference actually works and how that shapes the systems problems
Preferred qualifications
5+ years of engineering management experience
Experience with LLM inference serving — KV caching, continuous batching, request scheduling, prefill/decode disaggregation
Background in cluster schedulers, autoscalers, load balancers, service meshes, or fleet control planes at scale (Kubernetes internals, Borg-style systems, or equivalents)
Experience running workloads across multiple clouds or partner platforms, and the reliability and cost trade-offs that come with it
Familiarity with heterogeneous accelerator fleets and how hardware differences affect workload placement and rollout sequencing
Experience leading teams at supercomputing or hyperscaler infrastructure scale
Experience leading multiple teams or a group through rapid-growth periods where hiring, onboarding, and team splits competed with roadmap delivery
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:

We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.

We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Money is moving onto the internet, and the shift has a name:
Open Money.
This is money that is open, portable, agentic, and owned by you. MetaMask spent the last ten years building it; with 100M+ downloads, users in ~190 countries, and trillions in cumulative transaction volume, it's the most trusted self-custodial financial platform on the internet. Now we're building the operating system for your money: one place to hold, move, grow, and use anything you own. Join a remote-first, global team rebuilding how money works: a problem that touches everyone, every day.
What you'll do
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will:
Own the technical architecture and roadmap for MetaMask's Perpetuals experience across Extension and Mobile — from real-time price/position data flows to order execution and margin/liquidation UX.
Set technical direction and standards for trading-critical features: precision/decimal handling, state consistency under high-frequency updates, and resilience to feed/connectivity failures.
Drive cross-team technical alignment with other experience teams and backend/protocol integration teams to ship complex, multi-team projects.
Identify and de-risk the hardest technical problems on the roadmap before they become blockers; make build-vs-buy and architecture trade-off calls for the domain.
Partner with the Engineering Manager on prioritization, providing the technical judgment that shapes what gets built and in what order.
Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, run design/architecture reviews, and raise the technical bar through example, documentation, and code review.
Represent Perpetuals engineering in cross-functional planning with Product, Design, and other engineering leads.
Requirements:
8+ years working with web and mobile-based technologies
Experience building trading, financial, or other correctness-critical systems where precision, race conditions, and state consistency carry real financial risk (margin, settlement, order matching, payments, etc.)
Experience with real-time data systems (WebSockets, streaming price feeds, optimistic UI updates) and building resilient UX around unreliable network conditions
Track record of leading technical initiatives that span multiple teams or codebases without direct reporting authority — demonstrated Staff-level scope, not just Senior-level execution
Hands-on experience with React and React Native
Extensive experience with modern Javascript (ES6/TypeScript/etc.)
Experience with blockchain fundamentals across multiple blockchain architectures
Strong working knowledge developing cross platform/browser compatibility
Experience working in an agile development team
Experience developing medium to large-scale applications across the entire stack with minimal tech debt through sensible abstractions, testing, linting, and adherence to coding/web standards
Experience consuming and building APIs
A demonstrable understanding of Continuous Integration
Strong understanding of security risks specific to financial/trading products — transaction integrity, race conditions in state updates, precision/rounding bugs — in addition to standard web security threats (XSS, CSRF, etc.)
Bonus Points:
Direct experience integrating with perpetuals/derivatives protocols (e.g., Hyperliquid, Lighter, or similar) or building trading infrastructure.
Experience with cross-chain bridges, transaction lifecycle and/or interoperability solutions
Experience working in a decentralized, distributed team
Previous experience working in Web3
Product knowledge about the Web3 wallet space
Mobile experience (React Native, Objective C, Swift)
Other skills to demonstrate:
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
Teamwork, flexibility, initiative, communication and organization
Willingness to constantly learn & improve, challenging yourself to stay at the top of your game
Don't meet all the requirements? Don't sweat it. We’re passionate about building a diverse team of humans and as such, if you think you've got what it takes for our chaotic-but-fun, remote-friendly, start-up environment—apply anyway, detailing your relevant transferable skills in your cover letter. While we have a pretty good idea of what we need, we're ready for you to challenge our thinking on who needs to be in this role
.
In the rapidly evolving Web3 space, we believe that everyone is a builder. This expansive paradigm requires a range of backgrounds, talents, skills, and experiences to influence and shape the future. At MetaMask, this diversity fuels our ability to shift control and redefine the realm of possibility. We are committed to ensuring that our technology empowers people and communities through decentralized technologies. We welcome the range of perspectives and differences and celebrate them. We're excited to see how your unique skills as a builder can contribute to our vision, drive innovation, and help us shape a more inclusive Web3.

About Codex
Codex is building the infrastructure for stablecoin-based cross-border payments — moving money faster, cheaper, and more transparently than the legacy financial system. Backed by Circle, Coinbase, Dragonfly, Wintermute, and Cumberland, we're a small team solving hard problems at the intersection of crypto and global payments.
The Role
You'll own Codex's financial partner integrations end-to-end — from API contract and webhook design through to reconciliation and production hardening — and build the automation layer that makes our trading and treasury operations increasingly self-running.
This is a high-ownership role at the infrastructure layer of the business. You'll be adding new payment rails, eliminating manual operational workflows, and designing systems that handle real money reliably across fiat and crypto rails. You'll work directly with the founders and Engineering & Product Development team, and closely with Compliance, Operations, and Financial Partnerships.
Responsibilities
Financial Partner Integrations
- Own integrations with banks, payment providers, and liquidity venues end-to-end — from API contract and webhook design through to production hardening and reconciliation
- Build integrations that are robust to vendor reality: incomplete documentation, schema changes without warning, and validation rules that shift post-go-live
- Build messaging / notification systems with signature verification and replay protection; pin schemas against real sandbox behaviour; design for failure at every layer
- Maintain and evolve the reconciliation layer across all connected payment rails — fees, settlement windows, and exception handling as first-class concerns
Operational Automation
- Identify manual workflows in onboarding, compliance, and back-office operations and systematically replace them with product and automation
- Enable self-service for internal ops teams and customers, reducing engineering dependency for routine operational tasks
- Work closely with Compliance and Operations to understand where the friction is and build the tooling that removes it
Treasury & Liquidity Automation
- Design and build the automation layer for Codex's trading and treasury operations — automated position management, liquidity routing, and risk controls
- Design for failure: clear handling of automated decision failures, position unwinding, and safe degradation
Engineering Standards
- Set and maintain the engineering standard for how payment integrations are built at Codex — idempotency, audit trails, fail-closed design, exact decimal arithmetic, and deterministic durable orchestration
- Mentor engineers on the hard parts of money movement systems
- Continuously design and build for security, hardening our systems
- Ship and critically review AI-assisted code with the judgement to identify plausible but incorrect output or output detrimental to a product’s long-term health and sustainability
What We're Looking For
- 6 to 10 years of backend engineering experience in cross-border payments, stablecoins, FX infrastructure, or crypto custody
- Production experience with both crypto rails (on-chain settlement on major networks like Ethereum, Tron and Solana; bridging major stablecoins; DeFi protocols) and fiat rails (SWIFT, SEPA, local schemes such as FPS or CHATS)
- Must-have: Production experience with durable workflow orchestration — Temporal strongly preferred. Includes deterministic replay, safe versioning of live workflows, idempotency keys, and compensation logic
- Must-have: Strong TypeScript/Node and Postgres in a money context — fail-closed design, exact decimal arithmetic, append-only audit trails
- Must-have: Hands-on third-party API integration experience, including vendors with incomplete documentation, webhook reliability requirements, and schema instability

The Company
Our client is a progressive global plastic recycling business with three distinct divisions: (1) Plastic Recycling; (2) Recycled Supply Chain Management; and (3) Recycled & Waste Plastic Feedstock. Their expert global team combine impressive technical knowledge and capability with a passion for recycling and the circular economy. Our client is passionate about transforming waste into a valuable commodity, buying, selling and recycling scrap plastic.
Since our client started on their journey in 2005, they have developed a worldwide presence, serving hundreds of customers in over 50 countries. They have grown a strong, talented team who are highly trained, dedicated and loyal. They are headquartered in Hong Kong with operations and representation in Australia, Finland, Ireland, Turkey, Spain, Netherlands & UK. They operate a factory based in the UK specialising in the collection and recycling of plastic waste generated from industry and manufacturing.
Job Summary
Your role is to build and lead the purchasing and sales team covering the Asia market that will enable us to fulfil our client's mission to become the world’s largest recycled plastics commodities company.
The mission of this role is to deliver profitable, strategic and repeatable growth by moving the region from reactive spot trading towards larger scale accounts that generate contracted business via solution-led commercial execution.
The Commercial Director will own the commercial direction and performance of Asia. This includes developing the regional commercial plan, prioritising strategic verticals, building supplier and buyer relationships, creating account plans, coaching the team, improving deal quality and ensuring the region is aligned with our client’s wider strategy.
This is not a desk-only leadership role. The successful candidate must be able to operate at senior level while staying close to the market, deals, customers, suppliers and team activity. They will be expected to create leverage by making the existing commercial team more focused, more capable and more valuable, rather than simply adding more headcount. This role is expected to actively develop strategic level accounts directly and transform them into long term value generating clients.
A strong career history as a successful salesperson and sales manager, you are a proven leader who has experience building high-performance sales teams in a commodity business.
Role
Snapshot
Core purpose:
Lead Asia commercial growth and raise the value created by the existing commercial team.
Key focus:
Strategic accounts, contracted business, vertical focus, team performance, market development and First Choice execution.
Must avoid:
Becoming only a senior salesperson or only a people manager. This role must create scalable commercial leverage.
Success looks like:
Asia has clearer strategic priorities, stronger key accounts, higher-quality pipeline, better deal discipline and more repeatable GP.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy & Regional Commercial Leadership:
Develop and own the Asia commercial plan in line with our client’s global strategy.
Translate group strategy into clear priorities for Asia: which verticals, customers, suppliers, countries and materials matter most.
Focus leadership time and team activity on higher-value opportunities rather than low-return, high-friction trading.
Set clear expectations for team activity, account development, contracted business and pipeline quality.
Determine the countries and regions where purchasing and/or sales representation is required on the ground
Identify capability gaps and work with Talent to hire only where there is a clear leverage case.
Use data, commercial intelligence and market feedback to make decisions quickly and change direction when required.
Lead the team to constantly enhance sales skills, material knowledge and industry knowledge through formal training, coaching and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
Lead Asia’s contribution to becoming First Choice for strategic customers and suppliers.
Work with operations, logistics, finance, technical and compliance teams to understand what customers value beyond price.
Develop solution-led value propositions for priority verticals and accounts.
Engage in constant and active risk management, ensuring systems are in place to support
Strategic Accounts & Contracted Business:
Identify and develop priority strategic buyers and suppliers.
Create account plans for key relationships, including current value, growth potential, risks and contract opportunities.
Drive the move from spot trading towards contracted, repeatable business.
Build executive-level relationships with important buyers and suppliers, not only trader-to-trader relationships.
Increase share of wallet, shipment frequency and multi-material or multi-country penetration across strategic accounts.
What Success Looks Like:
Asia has a clear commercial plan focused on strategic accounts, priority verticals and profitable growth.
The team is producing higher-quality opportunities, stronger pipeline and better follow-through.
Strategic customers and suppliers are being developed through account plans, executive relationships and better service.
A growing share of GP comes from repeatable, contracted or strategic relationships.
The current commercial team becomes more effective without simply adding more people.
Commercial activity is better aligned with operations, logistics, finance, compliance and technical capability.
Requirements
Knowledge (Education & Related Experience):
10+ years of commercial, trading, business development, sales leadership or commodity-market experience.
Proven experience leading or strongly influencing commercial teams across countries, cultures or time zones.
Experience in commodities, recycling, plastics, chemicals, logistics, manufacturing, packaging, freight forwarding or international trade is strongly preferred.
Track record of developing strategic accounts, negotiating complex deals and improving commercial performance.
Experience moving businesses from reactive sales activity towards structured pipeline, account planning and repeatable growth.
Experience with CRM, commercial reporting and performance management.
Skills & Abilities:
Able to create commercial clarity in a fast-moving and ambiguous market.
Able to lead independently without waiting for step-by-step direction.
Able to coach people while holding high standards on performance and follow-through.
Able to build credibility with senior customers, suppliers and internal leaders.
Able to use data and market intelligence to make practical commercial decisions.
Able to challenge people constructively when standards, risk or deal quality are not good enough.
Excellent written and spoken English, with the confidence to work across global teams.
Strong financial and commercial acumen, including margin, cash, risk and working capital awareness.
General Attributes:
Non-Negotiables:
Being Resilient, Collaborative, Customer Focused, Inquisitive, Reflective, Resourcefulness, Taking Initiative.
