An overview of this role
As Director, Analytics Engineering, you'll lead a team of 8 and report to the VP of Data & Insights. You set direction across the data organization, stay close enough to the work to guide technical decisions credibly, and partner with Data Engineering, Data Science, IT, and business leaders.
You will have three mandates:
Build trusted, AI-ready self-service.
Deliver a semantic model that answers business questions correctly, with the telemetry, evals, and model flexibility to prove it and keep costs in check.
Set the strategy for how GitLab accesses data.
Own the data models, BI tools, and AI access patterns (Claude, MCP servers, Slack agents) that put trusted data in everyone's hands.
Build data applications the whole company relies on.
Ship production-grade apps that combine trusted data, APIs, and AI to answer questions dashboards can't.
What you'll do
Build and own a trusted semantic model, with governed metrics and business definitions, that answers business questions consistently across every tool
Build evals and ground-truth datasets that measure answer quality, and use them to drive improvements and catch regressions
Instrument telemetry to see who uses the semantic model and AI tools, what they ask, and where they get stuck
Build a model-selection harness so GitLab can route work across LLMs and stay flexible on cost and quality
Own data modeling and curated datasets for self-service, with the ownership, data contracts, testing, and documentation that make them AI-ready
Define the AI data access strategy: when to use BI, Claude, MCP servers, or Slack agents, with the governance and security to keep access trusted and reliable
Own the enterprise BI and self-service tools strategy (e.g., Tableau, Omni), including evaluation, adoption, and cost
Build self-service capabilities, such as Claude skills, documentation, and guided workflows, that help people find and use data on their own
Build and own company-wide data applications, from Claude-built single-page apps to apps inside BI tools, that combine Snowflake data, API calls, AI-powered deep dives, and write-back to Postgres or Snowflake
Set engineering standards for data apps (security, authentication, testing, deployment, and monitoring) so they're reliable at company scale
Set a long-range roadmap tied to company strategy, and a lightweight operating model that balances urgent stakeholder needs with investment in reusable data products and tech-debt reduction
Hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team of 8: build career paths, develop leaders, distribute ownership, and recognize great work
Act as customer zero for GitLab and GitLab Duo in data workflows, sharing feedback with Product and Engineering
What you'll bring
12+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI, including 5+ years leading teams and 2+ years managing managers or senior leads
Deep expertise in data modeling and semantic layers (e.g., dbt Semantic Layer, Snowflake semantic views, LookML, Cube), and expert dbt, including testing and CI/CD across a multi-team project
Hands-on experience building LLM-powered data access (text-to-SQL, agents, MCP servers), including evals and telemetry for answer quality, and advanced use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code
Expert SQL and strong Snowflake experience; working knowledge of Python
Strong data governance experience: data quality, lineage, certified datasets, and access controls (RBAC, row access and masking policies)
Track record of leading cross-functional data initiatives from strategy through adoption and measurable business impact, including enterprise BI and self-service at scale
Systems thinker who sees how models, pipelines, and architecture decisions connect, and designs for second-order effects
Exceptional communicator who writes clear technical specs, sets a clear vision, makes trade-offs visible, and influences executives and peers across the company
Pragmatic in ambiguity: makes sound decisions on emerging technology and ships the right next version rather than waiting for the ideal end state
Able to use GitLab, thrive in an all-remote, asynchronous company, model GitLab's remote working competencies, and work in line with GitLab's values
Nice to Have
Experience with LLM routing or gateway tools and managing model costs
Experience with Tableau, Omni, or a BI platform migration
Experience with web app development (e.g., React, TypeScript) and Postgres
Experience owning finance or revenue-critical data (e.g., ARR, consumption) where accuracy and auditability are non-negotiable
About the Team
Analytics Engineering makes GitLab's data trusted, easy to find, and ready for anyone to use, whether they ask a dashboard, Claude, or a Slack agent. We own the curated data models, the semantic layer, the self-service tools, and the data applications that let teams answer their own questions.
AI is changing how people get to data. Questions that once went through an analyst now go straight to AI tools, so the answers are only as good as the data models and business definitions behind them. Our job is to make those answers correct, consistent, and measurable.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the commission platform end to end, including plan configuration, crediting rules, user access, and changes each plan year.
- Build and maintain the data flows between Salesforce, the commission tool, HRIS and payroll so that bookings, roster changes and payouts stay in sync.
- Turn new plan designs, deal types and SPIFs into working system logic, and test them before they go live.
- Automate manual steps, build self-serve dashboards on attainment and payout cost for reps and leaders, and keep clear documentation for every rule and process.
- Partner with Accounting on monthly close: deliver commission accruals, reconcile commissionable bookings to billing and revenue, and support commission capitalization.
- Keep employee changes (hires, transfers, leaves, and exits) accurate in the commission system, and manage role-based access so pay data stays confidential.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years in sales compensation systems, commissions operations, or a related RevOps or finance systems role.
- Hands-on experience administering a sales compensation platform such as CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Spiff or Varicent, including building plans and calculation logic from scratch.
- Strong Salesforce knowledge: objects, fields, reports, and how opportunity and booking data flows into commission calculations.
- Working knowledge of commission accounting, including accruals, month-end close, and reconciling payouts to the general ledger.
- Experience integrating an HRIS (e.g., Workday) with a commission platform, and sound judgment handling sensitive employee and pay data.
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience managing a commission platform at a fast-growing company.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.

- Life insurance and disability benefits
- Retirement plan dependent on country of employment
- Parental leave
- Fertility and family building benefits through Carrot

We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator platform with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Contract Technical Sourcer to support our mission.
This role can based in New York or San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 3 days per week on a hybrid work model.
About the Team
The recruiting team is dedicated to bringing in the people who will help creators thrive. We partner closely with leaders across the company to understand their goals, anticipate future needs, and build diverse, thoughtful teams. As advocates for both candidates and hiring teams, we design an inclusive, transparent hiring experience that feels true to Patreon's values. Above all, we believe that every great employee experience starts with a great candidate experience - one rooted in respect, clarity, and genuine connection
About the Role
- Partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and technical leadership to define and run sourcing strategy for Engineering, Product, and Design roles across a range of levels, from early-career to senior and staff-plus
- Run intake conversations with hiring teams to understand the technical needs of each role, translate them into target profiles, and set clear sourcing goals and timelines
- Proactively identify and engage passive talent through LinkedIn, GitHub, open-source communities, technical forums, portfolios, conferences, and other channels where technical talent spends time
- Write personalized, compelling outreach that earns responses from in-demand engineers, product managers, and designers, and continuously test and refine messaging based on what works
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates in the early stages of the process, providing a warm, responsive, high-touch experience that reflects our brand
- Build and maintain talent pipelines and talent pools so we have qualified candidates ready ahead of demand
- Build sourcing strategies that expand our reach and bring in diverse slates of qualified candidates
- Track and report on pipeline health and funnel metrics (response rates, conversion by channel, time to submit), and use that data to improve how we source
- Improve our sourcing and early-stage processes by identifying bottlenecks, testing new approaches, and sharing best practices with the broader talent team
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate data and activity in our applicant tracking system
What you’ll need
- 3+ years of experience sourcing for technical roles (Engineering required; Product and/or Design a plus) at high-growth technology companies or startup
- Strong understanding of the technical landscape: you can speak credibly about roles, stacks, and levels (for example, backend vs. frontend vs. mobile vs. infrastructure/ML) and evaluate profiles against a role's core requirements
- Hands-on experience with sourcing tools and channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, social media, and technical communities and forums. Juicebox souring strongly preferred
- Experience with an applicant tracking system; Ashby experience strongly preferred
- A track record of crafting creative, data-informed sourcing strategies that build a consistent, diverse pipeline of qualified candidates
- Excellent written communication, with a demonstrated ability to write outreach that gets responses from passive talent
- Comfort partnering with recruiters and senior technical stakeholders, and influencing hiring strategy rather than just taking requests
- Strong organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple searches at once
- Demonstrated ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes are still being built
- A genuine passion for the creator economy and the people who make a living doing what they love

As Director, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), you'll lead finance for GitLab's Research & Development (R&D) organization, our largest operating expense area. You'll be the strategic finance partner to our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and their leadership team, owning R&D planning, forecasting, and investment decisions.

Partner with People and R&D leaders on hiring plans, location strategy, and organizational design. Keep headcount forecasts accurate and reconciled to actuals.
Lead the AI transformation of R&D finance. Rethink planning, forecasting, and reporting workflows, and use AI tools to make them faster, more accurate, and more insightful.

Location: Tokyo, Japan
Location: Japan (Tokyo)
Type: Contractor (12 months to start)
Hours: 40 hours/week
Role Summary:
We’re looking for a contractor based in Japan to support the development and growth of OpenAI’s student community efforts in Japan and Korea.
This role will focus on building strong relationships with students and campus communities, supporting locally relevant community activations, surfacing meaningful student stories and insights, and helping establish the foundations for sustained student engagement over time.
About the Team
OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity.
The Community team focuses on finding exceptional power users of our tools and turning real usage into stories and signals that shape both product direction and how the world understands OpenAI. We do that by learning directly from users, then working together to package up insights and use cases into formats that can travel: playbooks, webpages, launch assets, event series and clear “here’s how people actually use this” guidance.
About the Role
ChatGPT and OpenAI’s broader tools can help students learn, create, build and solve problems in new ways. But for many, discovering meaningful ways to use AI can still feel like navigating a black box without an instruction manual.
The OpenAI community exists to bridge that gap by working directly with the people using our technology every day.
Our role sits across three core areas:
- Build direct relationships and channels with student leaders and their communities
- Amplify how these cohorts are actually using AI, enabling peer-to-peer learning and accelerating adoption through real examples
- Channel insights and feedback from these communities into our product and research teams
Our current student engagements serve as a key entry point for building long-term relationships with students and priority campuses—helping us identify emerging power users and support growing communities through authentic, student-led engagement.
The goal is for every participant to leave not only with an “I wonder if…,” but with the confidence to build with AI—and a community to learn alongside.
This role will report to the Community Lead, APAC and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and our external agency partner to support the growth of OpenAI’s student community efforts primarily in Japan, and selected engagement efforts in Korea.
In this role, you will:
- Support the development and growth of OpenAI’s student community efforts in Japan, with opportunities to support relevant engagement efforts in Korea
- Identify, recruit, and onboard students to participate in our global OpenAI Student Collective program
- Build partnerships with student clubs and campus communities to host Labs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, hosts, and campus partners
- Coordinate communications, scheduling, logistics, and event execution; resolve issues and remove blockers
- Represent OpenAI on Campus
- Develop and maintain dashboards and systems to track events, performance, and program scale - including student participation and event engagement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment and follow-through.
- Source, review, and curate stories and use cases across events and online communities
- Publish progress updates and monthly recaps, highlighting key insights, risks, and opportunities
- Collaborate with the Community team to improve, maintain community resources, including guides, templates and checklists.
Qualification
Must have:
- 5 years experience building, managing or growing communities, ideally student or campus-based communities.
- Excellent execution skills, with the ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams at once, from onboarding and event coordination to story capture and reporting..
- Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and driving follow-through.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly with students, partners and internal teams.
- Comfort with tools like Slack, Google Docs / Sheets, Airtable or similar workflow systems.
- Willingness to travel for student community activations across Japan, and occasionally Korea where relevant
- Japanese language proficiency
Bonus:
- Active participation in tech and AI communities, with a strong understanding of how these ecosystems operate beyond top-line metrics
- Strong interest in AI and familiarity with how the space is evolving, including emerging product and agent experiences.

MANAGER, COMMERCIAL SALES - WEST
Location: US West (remote), strong interest for San Francisco
THE ROLE
Our commercial segment is one of the more technically demanding sales environments in the industry. Our buyers are data engineers, platform architects, and technical founders — and the AEs who succeed here do so because they can meet those buyers as peers, not vendors. Building and leading that team requires someone who has done it themselves and knows what great looks like.
As Manager of Commercial Sales at ClickHouse, you'll own the performance, development, and culture of our Commercial AE team. You'll be expected to live in the details — reviewing pipelines, sitting on calls, pressure-testing deal strategy, and knowing every meaningful opportunity in the book. The best managers in this role won't be directing from a distance; they'll be the person their reps turn to when a deal gets complicated. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from a dashboard. It's a role for someone who wants to build something.
You'll inherit a team that has real momentum, as our Commercial segment represents a significant % of our overall business.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Account Executives selling into the sub-250 employee segment — helping them close faster, think more technically, and operate with greater autonomy over time.
- Own the Commercial segment number. You're accountable for team attainment, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy — and you'll be expected to have a clear point of view on both at any given moment.
- Spend time in deals. Review deals, join customer conversations when it matters, and help your reps navigate the technical and commercial complexity that defines this segment.
- Hire exceptional people. The Commercial AE profile is rare: technically credible, commercially hungry, and able to operate without hand-holding. You know how to find and close that person.
- Build the playbook. Document what's working, codify best practices, and create repeatable frameworks for technical discovery, objection handling, and deal progression that the team can scale.
- Partner cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Marketing to ensure the Commercial team has the support, enablement, and feedback loops they need to win.
- Identify patterns across the pipeline — where deals stall, where we lose, and where we consistently win — and use those insights to improve team performance and inform product and GTM decisions.
- Contribute to the broader Commercial strategy, including segmentation, coverage model, and how we evolve the motion as the team scales.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A track record of success as a quota-carrying AE in a technical sales environment — you've sold data infrastructure, developer tooling, or a similarly technical product to engineering buyers and you know what that motion actually requires.
- Experience leading or mentoring other sellers, whether in a formal management role or as a senior IC who took ownership of team development. You know how to coach, not just direct.
- Technical credibility. You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to earn respect in rooms full of them. You understand the modern data stack, can hold a conversation about architecture, and know enough to identify when a deal is stalling for technical reasons vs. commercial ones.
- Strong commercial instincts. You can read a pipeline, spot sandbagging, identify risk early, and have an honest forecast conversation with leadership without needing a week to prepare.
- A builder mentality. The playbook is still being written. You're comfortable operating in that environment and energized by the opportunity to shape it rather than frustrated by the ambiguity.
- Genuine investment in people development. Your reps' growth is your growth. You give direct feedback, create space for people to fail safely, and take accountability for the development of everyone on your team.
WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
The Commercial segment at ClickHouse is technically differentiated, growing fast, and still finding its ceiling. The person who leads it will have a direct hand in shaping how one of the most important data infrastructure companies in the industry goes to market — and will build a team that reflects their own standard of excellence.

The AI orchestration of your wildest imagination.
n8n is the open workflow orchestration platform built for the new era of AI. We give technical teams the freedom of code with the speed of no-code, so they can automate faster, smarter, and without limits. Backed by a fiercely inventive community and 500+ builder-approved integrations, we’re changing the way people bring systems together and scale ideas for impact.
Since our founding in 2019, we’ve grown into a diverse team of over 260 - working across Europe and the US, connected by a shared builder spirit and with our centre of gravity in Berlin. Along the way, we’ve:
- Cultivated a community of more than 650,000 active developers and builders
- Earned 190K+ GitHub stars, making us one of the world’s Top 40 most popular projects
- Backed by top investors, from Sequoia’s first German seed to our SAP's recent strategic investment - bringing us to a $5.2bn valuation
That’s the company we’ve built. Now we’d love to see what you can build. If you’re applying, try n8n out - whether you’re technical or not - and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us. The easiest place to start is here: app.n8n.cloud/register http://app.n8n.cloud/register.
We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
🎯 YOUR MAIN GOAL WILL BE TO BUILD AND OPERATE N8N’S SHARED CONTEXT INFRASTRUCTURE — OUR “COMPANY BRAIN” — SO BOTH PEOPLE AND AI AGENTS CAN RELIABLY ACCESS ACCURATE, WELL-STRUCTURED, AND APPROPRIATELY GOVERNED KNOWLEDGE ACROSS THE COMPANY.
To make that happen, you’ll shape how our knowledge is structured, contributed, accessed, and maintained as we build the context layer powering n8n’s agentic future:
DESIGN OUR INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
- Define the taxonomy, structure, contributor guidelines, and templates that turn fragmented company knowledge into reliable, reusable context.
- Establish standards that make knowledge easy to navigate, maintain, and use without creating duplication or another layer of content sprawl.
- Evolve these standards as our functions, knowledge sources, and agentic use cases grow.
ONBOARD & ENABLE TEAMS
- Onboard functions to the company brain and train designated champions to structure and maintain their own knowledge over time.
- Give non-technical contributors the guidance, templates, and support they need to contribute high-quality context independently.
- Partner with the Internal AI Enablement Lead to develop a shared network of champions who help scale strong knowledge practices across n8n.
OPERATE OUR CONTEXT PLATFORM
- Configure and operate ingestion from qualitative sources such as Slack, Gong, Drive, and Notion using our context platform’s tooling.
- Own day-to-day platform configuration and basic troubleshooting, escalating genuine engineering challenges to our Automation team or vendor when needed.
- Partner with IT, Security, and Legal to define requirements for how people and AI agents access sensitive company knowledge.
BUILD FOR LONG-TERM TRUST & REUSE
- Keep content structures, contributor guidelines, and knowledge freshness current as n8n and the platform evolve.
- Work with functions to ensure the company brain becomes a trusted source of context rather than another parallel knowledge repository.
- Provide product feedback to our context platform vendor and anticipate shared context patterns and capabilities that future agents will need.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🗂️ Information architecture: You have proven experience designing structured content or knowledge programs at scale, including taxonomies, style guides, contributor guidelines, templates, or information architecture.
- 🧠 Knowledge systems experience: You’ve worked hands-on with knowledge or context systems and understand what it takes to turn fragmented qualitative information into something others can reliably use.
- ⚙️ SaaS platform fluency: You’re comfortable configuring and operating SaaS knowledge or context platforms, working with APIs and integrations, and independently troubleshooting basic issues.
- 🎓 Stakeholder enablement: You have a track record of training non-technical stakeholders and enabling them to confidently maintain high-quality content themselves over the long term.
- 🔐 Governance collaboration: You’re comfortable partnering with IT, Security, and Legal on access requirements and compliance-sensitive data flows without needing to own the underlying technical architecture.
- ✍️ Communication: You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can set a clear quality bar for how company knowledge is structured, documented, and shared.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🤖 Context platforms: You’re familiar with Qontext.ai http://Qontext.ai or a comparable agent-context platform.
- 🔌 MCP: You have experience with or a strong understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- 🏷️ Knowledge governance: You have a background in knowledge management, metadata, or data governance.
Why join us?
At n8n, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how an entire company’s knowledge becomes usable — not only by people, but by the AI agents increasingly working alongside them. You’ll build a capability we don’t have today and help establish the context layer that future agentic initiatives across n8n will depend on.
You’ll have real ownership over how company knowledge is structured, governed, and maintained, while working closely with teams across IT, Security, Legal, Data, and AI & Automation. You’ll also have the support of a strong technical team and vendor partner, so your focus can stay on creating a trusted, scalable knowledge system rather than building every piece of infrastructure from scratch.
As n8n grows, you’ll help turn fragmented knowledge into a shared company brain that teams can contribute to confidently and agents can depend on reliably.
Sound like a challenge you’re excited to take on?

We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
🎯 YOUR MAIN GOAL WILL BE TO TURN N8N’S INTERNAL AI AND AUTOMATION CAPABILITIES INTO SOMETHING EVERY FUNCTION CAN CONFIDENTLY USE, BUILD WITH, AND LEARN FROM.
To make that happen, you’ll create the programs, experiences, and foundations that help teams across n8n build their AI and automation fluency:
DRIVE HANDS-ON ENABLEMENT
- Run weekly, role-specific workshops, prioritizing less-technical functions such as Legal and Customer Support.
- Lead hands-on sessions where you build live alongside teams, helping them turn real workflows and challenges into working automations.
- Run Build Along Office Hours and Bounty Hunts that give teams regular opportunities to learn, experiment, and solve problems together.
- Help teams identify useful automation opportunities, understand the process they are changing, and decide when to reuse an existing solution, build themselves, or involve the Automation team.
OWN DOGFOODING & EXPERIMENTATION
- Own our monthly Dogfooding Day end-to-end, from planning and coordination through execution and follow-up.
- Design and run hackathons and other experimentation initiatives that encourage teams to explore new ways of working with AI and automation.
- Turn learnings and outputs from these initiatives into reusable assets that help other teams move faster.
SCALE AI FLUENCY & COMMUNITY
- Own periodic AI fluency survey cycles alongside the People team and help calibrate what fluency means across different functions.
- Build visibility around internal wins and reusable solutions so teams can learn from what others have already created.
- Identify and support champions across functions, informally leading the emerging Guild and helping automation knowledge spread across the company.
ENABLE SAFE, REUSABLE AUTOMATION
- Act as product owner for our internal “safe playground,” partnering with IT, Security, Data, and Solutions Engineering on access, credentials, environments, and requirements.
- Turn outputs from workshops and office hours into reusable templates and resources that teams can easily discover and adopt.
- Actively help teams reuse existing solutions rather than reinventing them, making automation more accessible and scalable across n8n.
- Check whether the things built are still in use four weeks later; provide evidence that teams reuse existing assets and can make routine changes without handing everything back to the Automation team.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🛠️ Practitioner-level n8n fluency: You’ve built real, meaningful automations in n8n and are comfortable building live alongside others.
- 🎓 Technical enablement experience: You’ve run structured, recurring enablement programs such as workshops, office hours, or build-alongs.
- 🤝 Non-technical audience expertise: You have a strong track record of helping non-technical teams understand, adopt, and confidently use technical tools.
- 🏗️ Cross-functional ownership: You’re comfortable partnering with IT, Security, and Data teams to define and own requirements around access, credentials, and environments without needing to implement the infrastructure yourself.
- 🌍 CET overlap: You’re based in a time zone that gives you strong overlap with Central European working hours, within a couple of hours of Berlin.
- 💬 English fluency: You have fluent or near-native English and can communicate clearly and confidently with audiences ranging from individual contributors to senior stakeholders.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🌱 Champion programs: You’ve helped build or run an internal ambassador, champion, or community program.
- 📊 Fluency measurement: You have experience running capability, fluency, or adoption surveys and turning the results into actionable programs.
- 🔐 Access & governance: You’re familiar with access or governance models and have worked with stakeholders responsible for secure environments and tooling.
Why join us?
At n8n, you’ll have the opportunity to build a brand-new enablement function from the ground up and shape how AI and automation become part of everyday work across the company. You’ll have a direct line to the Head of AI & Automation, high visibility across functions, and genuine autonomy to design an enablement model rather than inherit one.
As n8n scales, you’ll become a key connector between the people building our internal automation capabilities and the teams putting them to work. You’ll help create a culture where teams don’t just learn about automation — they confidently build, experiment, share what works, and help others do the same.
You’ll join a fast-growing, remote-first company that values autonomy, experimentation, and builder culture, with the opportunity to influence how we scale AI fluency across the organization.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
🚀 THE CHALLENGE
- Alan is a leading European health insurer with over 1 million members across 4 countries (France, Belgium, Spain, Canada). At its core, Alan is a tech company that believes exceptional member experience is a competitive advantage: fast, empathetic, and reliable service at scale. As of Q1 2026, 40% of conversations are handled automatically.
- At the intersection of Care, Legal, Security, and Data Protection sits a set of topics that are as operationally complex as they are strategically critical: data breaches, GDPR rights requests, security incidents, legal complaints, regulatory reporting.
- We are looking for a Care Legal & Security Specialist to own these topics end-to-end: handling complex cases in close collaboration with Alan's Legal and DPO teams, building the processes and training that allow our ~300 Care agents to manage them with confidence, and identifying where AI and automation can reduce manual load. As Alan accelerates across four countries, what you build in France gets replicated in Spain, Belgium, and Canada: your work doesn't stay local.
- This is not a pure legal role, and it is not a pure ops role. You handle regulatory cases, improve the processes that prevent them from recurring, and scale what works across countries. You will be embedded within our Operational Excellence team, working in close collaboration with Care Ops and the Corporate Unit.
👨🚀 MISSIONS
1/ Operational run (60%)
- Handle complex security incidents, GDPR cases, and legal complaints escalated from Care agents, including CNIL notifications (drafted in close collaboration with Legal and DPO, within the 72-hour regulatory deadline), account takeover situations, Level 2 and Level 3 complaints, and incoming legal mail
- Manage interactions with external stakeholders (CNIL, Insurance Ombudsman, Signal Conso) with precision and within regulatory deadlines
- Own KPI monitoring and reporting for legal and security matters; organize yearly complaints reporting for Alan's Board; identify trends and escalate systemic issues to Product teams early
2/ Scalability: process, tools, and training (20%)
- Design and continuously improve workflows, escalation paths, macros, and help center content so Care agents can handle legal and security cases autonomously at L1 and L2
- Identify simplification and automation opportunities across legal and security operations, then collaborate with Care Ops and Product crews to deploy them, rather than solving each case manually
- Build and maintain training materials (case studies, Q&As, simulations), so Care Experts develop real judgment, not just process familiarity
- Ensure regulatory training completion across the team
3/ Globalization (20%)
- Translate processes, frameworks, and training materials built for France into resources that Care and Legal/Compliance teams in other countries can adopt
- Coordinate actively with counterparts in other countries to share learnings, align on best practices, and anticipate regulatory divergences
- Build shared resources so that when a new country goes live, the Care Legal & Security function isn't starting from scratch
To deliver on those missions, you will:
- Support Care Experts participating in the Legal & Security taskforce: build their judgment on complex and ambiguous cases, be the primary escalation reference for Care agents facing difficult legal or security situations
- Collaborate with the Corporate Unit Lead and Care Ops to shape the Care roadmap on legal and security topics; translate regulatory constraints into executable processes and surface operational insights that should inform policy or product decisions
⭐ YOU'LL EXCEL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU:
- Deliver reliably on high-stakes, deadline-driven cases with a real member-centric mindset
- Have at least 1-2 years of experience in one of the following: GDPR / privacy operations, legal complaints handling in a regulated sector, or compliance ops in fintech, insurtech, or health
- Communicate with precision and adapt to your audience, whether you're briefing a legal expert, aligning with a product team, or coaching a front-line agent. You get buy-in from agents and managers who didn't ask for a new process, and that's as important as designing the process itself
- Spot simplification opportunities and know how to turn them into projects: you identify what should be automated or redesigned, then drive the collaboration with Care Ops and Product to make it happen
- Are comfortable navigating regulatory frameworks (GDPR, complaint handling, CNIL) without being a lawyer; you know when to escalate and when to own it, and you're backed by Legal and DPO experts at Alan
- Are comfortable making judgment calls in ambiguous situations and moving forward without waiting for all the answers.
- Are fluent in French (C1+ written and spoken, essential for CNIL notifications, ombudsman responses, and legal correspondence) and proficient in English for internal Alan collaboration
No prior legal qualification is required but a background in law is a genuine plus. We are looking for operational rigor, strong communication, and the appetite to build something that scales.
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the B-C level range.
🌍 HOW WE WORK
Location: You must be legally eligible to work from France.
Remote work: We offer remote work flexibility, but we value in-person collaboration.
🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.
If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We'll be thrilled to receive your application!

⭐️ THE ROLE
You are the Canada GM's right hand. Not a support role: you own strategic initiatives end to end and are accountable for the outcome, not the slide deck.
This seat owns Strategy & Operations: the operating cadence, the operational build-out of a young insurer, and the regulatory execution that lets Alan operate province by province. You'll work daily with Canada's leadership and draw on the global Alan platform, including GM Associate peers in five countries.
🎯 YOUR MISSION
Your core missions:
- Own Canada's operating cadence. MBRs, QBRs and the Canada Weekly pulse: turn inputs from nine communities into the narrative and decisions leadership acts on.
- Build new operations from scratch. New products, processes and reporting (e.g. virtual care expansion, pipeline and quota dashboards): define, launch, hand over.
- Own insurance & regulatory execution. Provincial licensing, other filings and clinical licensing for new provinces. These are commitments to regulators, not internal deadlines.
- Build your own AI tooling. Automate your own job with agents that do real work (e.g. automate weekly reporting, hiring pipeline digests, regulatory monitoring).
- Lead through influence and clarity. Write the docs that let others decide without you (e.g. the business case for a 2nd GM Associate, summer interns, staffing BC expansion) and keep Canada and Europe aligned.
- Step in where the business needs you. Cover leaders when they're out and pick up adjacent work (e.g. running hiring loops, managing summer interns, running the Toronto office).
💪 YOU MAY BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU HAVE
- 1-4 years in consulting, banking, M&A, a high-growth startup, or as a founder.
- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You set direction, then build the model, fix the process and file the renewal on time.
- Exceptional written communication. You can turn a messy quarter into three paragraphs a board will act on.
- A real command of AI tools, used to extend your output, not replace your thinking. We'll ask you to show us.
- Strong organisation, time management and autonomy. You run projects start to finish with precision and little oversight.

- Build and maintain a living view of supply risks across all active programs; proactively propose mitigation actions.
- Keep sourcing documentation, cost tracking, and procurement data updated even under fast-moving conditions.
