ABOUT INSTITUTIONAL TRANSFERS
We're the team that makes it effortless for clients to move their investments to and from Wealthsimple. Behind every account transfer is a complex network of institutions, systems, and people — and our job is to make that all feel simple. We power the platform that ensures money moves reliably, efficiently, and transparently for our clients, and we're always growing our product offering so clients can transfer more accounts, in more ways and easier than ever.
We're hiring an Engineering Manager to lead one of our two teams. Transfers Platform owns the foundations that make transfers scalable and observable, including workflow architecture, operational tooling, and automation. Transfers Experience focuses on expanding our product offering so clients can move all types of accounts to Wealthsimple. Both teams partner closely with Product, Design, Operations, CX, and other Engineering teams.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Engineering Manager, you'll lead a team of software developers while helping shape the technical direction, delivery strategy, and culture of Institutional Transfers. You'll balance near-term client and operational impact with long-term investments in reliability, scalability, and developer effectiveness. Reporting to an Engineering Director, you'll contribute to the broader engineering leadership community and help build systems that support thousands of account transfers each day. You'll also have the opportunity to help shape newly formed teams with significant business and client impact.
IN THIS ROLE YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

- Set a clear technical direction and roadmap with Product and Design, balancing new capabilities with reliability, maintainability, and operational health.
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of the transfer platform and the tools that support our operations teams.
- Partner with Operations and CX to automate manual work — through both traditional software and modern technologies — and improve the accuracy, transparency, and speed of transfer processes.
- Help your team build new ways for clients to move their accounts to Wealthsimple, operating in data-driven environments and using that data to iterate quickly.
- Promote strong engineering practices, including thoughtful design, code review, testing, observability, documentation, healthy on-call, and effective incident response.
- Champion the use of AI-first development tools to materially improve your team's output.
- Work across Institutional Transfers, Bank and Brokerage Linking, Infrastructure, Security, SRE, and other teams to resolve dependencies and deliver end-to-end outcomes.
- Keep on top of industry best practices and standards that benefit our engineering organization, and hold teams accountable to them.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Experience managing and developing software engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, feedback, and performance management.
- Technical depth in production software development and distributed systems, with the judgment to guide architecture and implementation decisions.
- Experience delivering reliable products with cross-functional partners in a complex or regulated environment.
- A practical understanding of modern backend and frontend systems, relational databases (SQL), event-driven architectures, and cloud infrastructure.
- Effectiveness at communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to inclusive leadership, operational excellence, and continuous improvement — including improving team documentation and making meaningful improvements to the codebase.
- Comfort supporting a team through on-call duties and system maintenance.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, React or React Native, GraphQL, Kafka, Temporal, Kubernetes, AWS, Datadog, or Sentry.
- Experience with Java, Kotlin, Python, or mobile development.
- Experience in fintech, banking, brokerage, or other systems that handle sensitive financial data.
- Familiarity with institutional transfer rails such as ATON or Fundserv.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
In your first six months, you'll have built strong relationships with your team and partners, established clear goals and development plans, understood the health of the team's systems and operations, and helped shape a roadmap that improves reliability, delivery, and the client or operational experience.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Render’s mission is simple: eliminate the tedious work of building software by providing a cloud platform that just works.
We’re evolving from the go-to platform for solo developers into the backbone for fast-scaling teams. This role sits at the heart of that shift: how a developer discovers Render, achieves their first success, and becomes a paying customer whose bill makes sense to them. That journey spans onboarding and activation, billing, payments, and pricing — the moments where trust is won or lost and where good design directly moves the business. Because the journey crosses the whole product, you won’t be siloed on a single team; you’ll work across the groups that own these surfaces — product, billing, and more — following the work wherever it leads.
This is a craft-focused IC role built for speed, scale, and variety. You won’t polish one screen for a month; you’ll ship a lot, learn fast, and raise the bar across a wide surface. The craft bar is high — this is still Render, where details matter — but here it’s expressed through velocity: designs that ship, get measured, and compound. You’ll move between a pricing page, an upgrade flow, an onboarding step, and a billing surface in the same week, and hold all of them to the same standard.
What makes this work hard and interesting: these surfaces are deceptively high-stakes. A confusing bill erodes trust as fast as a failed deploy. A pricing page that misleads costs real money and goodwill. Payments and billing are where correctness, clarity, and edge-case rigor matter as much as polish — and where “the unglamorous flow” is the product.
You’ll join a design team that takes its craft seriously, with weekly critiques and deep cross-functional collaboration. You’ll thrive here if you love fast, measurable work, hold a high bar under velocity, and want your design decisions grounded in what real users do — not just what looks good in Figma or an AI prototype.
YOU WILL:
Design the journey from first touch to paying customer as one connected system. Onboarding, activation, upgrade, and billing aren’t separate surfaces; they’re one path a developer walks. You’ll design them to feel coherent, so the moment someone decides to pay is the natural next step, not a cliff.
Own billing, payments, and pricing as craft surfaces. Plans, usage, invoices, upgrade and downgrade flows, payment methods, dunning, and the pricing page itself. This is where clarity and correctness are the whole game — a developer should always understand what they’re paying for and why, and never be surprised. You’ll bring real rigor to the edge cases (failed charges, proration, usage spikes) that make or break trust.
Design a first-run and activation experience worth recommending. The path from signup to first successful deploy — and from first deploy to habit — is where growth starts. You’ll design it so that a developer’s first ten minutes make them want to tell someone, and so the steps that drive activation are clear, fast, and friendly.
Run on validation and experimentation together. You’ll put work in front of real users — testing, interviews, quick validation — and ship experiments to learn what actually moves activation, conversion, and retention. You’re fluent in both: you know when a question needs a user session and when it needs an A/B test, and you treat shipped data as how design decisions get earned, not decoration.
Move fast across a wide surface. This role trades depth-on-one-thing for range: you’ll prioritize ruthlessly, ship in small confident increments, and know which details matter now and which can wait. Speed is a feature here.
Partner across the company. Growth design lives at the intersection of product, engineering, data, marketing, and finance. You’ll communicate clearly and often, align fast-moving stakeholders, and make the case for the user inside business conversations about pricing and revenue.
Contribute to where Growth goes next. Alongside the shipping work, you’ll bring a point of view and concept explorations to the team’s design-led discovery track, through our weekly critique cadence.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
5+ years of relevant experience, including real work designing for developers or technical users. You’ve designed products for software engineers, not just adjacent to them — in developer tools, cloud infrastructure, APIs, or another technical product — ideally paired with growth, billing, or payments depth. We care more about your impact than your title, but designing for a technical audience isn’t optional here.
Exceptional taste and craft at speed. You have an eye for detail that borders on obsessive, and you can bring it to work that ships fast. You know how to hold a high bar without over-polishing, and you’ve shipped work that other practitioners admire.
Fluency in both validation and experimentation. You’re comfortable running user testing and interviews and designing and reading experiments. You know which question each one answers, and you let real user behavior — not just instinct — shape your work.
Rigor with complex, high-stakes flows. Billing, payments, and pricing reward people who sweat the edge cases. You design for the failed charge, the plan change mid-cycle, the confusing invoice — not just the happy path. You believe a clear bill is as much a design artifact as a beautiful dashboard.
Strong information architecture. You can take a tangle of plans, usage, and states and make it feel like one obvious thing.
You design the whole journey, not a screen at a time. Your portfolio shows a user journey that’s coherent from first touch through activation to paying — not a set of polished screens that don’t add up.
Fluent in how developers think and get billed. You design for a technical user’s real mental model — services, deploys, and how developers actually work. Bonus if you understand usage-based, resource-metered billing for developer tools: compute plans, CPU/memory instance types (e.g., 1c-2g), usage metering, and how pricing maps to the underlying infrastructure. You don’t need to have built a cloud platform, but you’re curious enough to get into the weeds.
Strong product judgment under fast launch velocity. You frame problems well, prioritize ruthlessly, and know which details matter and which can wait.
Clear, direct communication and a genuinely collaborative way of working with product, engineering, data, and finance partners — including sharing a problem space with another designer without needing hard fences between you.
NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Experience designing billing, payments, subscriptions, checkout, or pricing surfaces where correctness and clarity are high-stakes.
- A track record of growth wins you can point to: activation, conversion, or retention you measurably moved.
- Comfort with experimentation, tooling, and reading data yourself, rather than waiting on a handoff.
- Design-engineering literacy: comfort near code, motion, or prototyping, and curiosity about AI-assisted design.
- Writing, talks, or side projects that demonstrate your craft and point of view.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
We're looking for a Partner Solutions Architect to own the global technical relationship with Snowflake and Databricks.
Snowflake and Databricks are two of Fivetran + dbt Labs’ largest platform alliances. This is a global role scoped to those two partners. For each, you will own the technical alliance plan worldwide, the joint technical narrative, and our joint integration and roadmap priorities with each partner to drive cosell revenue. You will also own our technical presence at major milestones such as Snowflake Summit and Databricks Data + AI Summit, our two largest partner events.
Functionally, the role sits at the intersection of field engineering, product management, partnerships, and partner marketing. Your closest counterparts are the global alliance managers for Snowflake and Databricks, the regional partner sales managers who run the Snowflake and Databricks motions in AMER, EMEA and APJ, the geo partner solutions architects, and product managers across both product lines. You will report to the global head of partner solutions architecture.
This is a full-time position, which can be either remote (US) or hybrid depending on location. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
What You’ll Do
Own the global technical alliance plans for Snowflake and Databricks. Build each plan with the partner's alliance and product leadership, agree it with our own, and drive it through both field organizations.
Own the joint technical narrative and the capability messaging for the combined dbt + Fivetran platform on Snowflake and Databricks, including reference architectures, integration patterns, and the joint value story that partners and sellers use with customers.
Build reusable collateral, playbooks and enablement assets for the broader partner solutions architecture team and for the partners delivering on Snowflake and Databricks.
Maintain a single, current view of integration state, gaps and opportunities across the combined platform on Snowflake and Databricks, covering ingestion, transformation, Fusion, the semantic layer, catalog and metadata, open table formats, and agent and MCP interfaces, and collaborate with our Product organization to drive the right outcomes.
Serve as the primary technical counterpart to the partner engineering and partner product teams at Snowflake and Databricks, and run the standing technical cadence with each.
Own our technical presence at Snowflake Summit and Databricks Data + AI Summit, including hands-on labs, sessions, demos, and the technical readiness of the team who staff each event.
Partner with the regional Partner Solutions Architects and Partnerships organization so global alliance strategy turns into regional execution, and so they can run the motion without you in the room.
Travel approximately 30% for alliance planning, technical workshops, executive meetings and partner events, including international travel.
Skills We’re Looking For
6+ years in solutions architecture, sales engineering, partner engineering, technical product management, developer relations, or another customer-facing technical role in data and analytics.
Fluency across the modern data stack (ingestion, transformation, orchestration, warehouses and lakehouses, open table formats, semantic layers, catalogs, BI, and the emerging agent and MCP layer) and the ability to explain how the pieces fit.
Hands-on knowledge of Snowflake and/or Databricks, plus strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals, with genuine technical credibility in front of partner engineers.
Sound product and strategic judgment and reasoning
Strong presentation and facilitation skills for workshops, hands-on labs, keynote-adjacent sessions and large partner technical audiences.
Proven ability to drive outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with multiple stakeholders
Bonus Skills
Experience owning a technical alliance, with a track record of shaping what a partner built and how the two products fit together
Experience with partner-facing APIs, SDKs, drivers, or integration certification programs
Background in product management or technical product marketing alongside a field engineering career
Familiarity with cloud marketplace motions and co-sell programs

From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
The Rendering & Animation team (R&A) builds the graphics engine which renders the canvas for all Figma applications. Our mission is to make rendering performant, feature-rich, reliable, maintainable and extendible across all products & surfaces. The team plays a core, bedrock role for the company because it underpins the technology driving the user experience, touching many other teams, and as such is one of the most impactful areas of Figma.
The R&A team is devoted to hiring individuals with graphics expertise. We are interested in a variety of sub-domains, including 2D GPU-driven rendering, computational geometry & vector graphics, animation frameworks, anti-aliasing algorithms, shader effects, and more recently branching into video/image processing. A PhD Intern specializing in any of these areas would be a phenomenal fit for the team with a lot of exciting projects available.
As an intern on our team, you'll take ownership of a high-impact project at the intersection of your technical strengths and our most pressing graphics, rendering, or media challenges. You'll work closely with your intern manager, team leads, and collaborators across 1–2 partner teams to deliver tangible results within your internship. This is an opportunity to do significant, portfolio-worthy work that directly supplies Figma's visual platform.
This is a 12 or 16-week internship role that can be held from one of our US hubs (San Francisco or New York) starting in May or June of 2027.
What you'll do at Figma:
Learn from industry graphics engineers and participate as an embedded team member of the Rendering & Animation team
Collaborate with engineers, PMs, designers, and researchers to scope and execute your work
Develop, validate, and document solutions from prototypes to production-ready systems
Drive projects that apply research insights to meaningful product challenges
Contribute to exciting domain areas; some examples: crafting and optimizing shaders for sophisticated effects, investigating improvements to anti-aliasing algorithms, improving media processing capabilities, animating spline interpolation, and more!
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Current enrollment as a 4th or 5th year senior PhD student pursuing a PhD in Computer Graphics, Media Processing, or a related field
Experience working with OpenGL, WebGL, WebGPU, Vulkan or Metal and their respective shader languages (GLSL, WGSL) or other low-level graphics APIs
Proficiency in either C++ or Rust
A track record of rigorous problem-solving through academic or applied research, with experience thinking holistically about use cases and the low-level technology required
While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
Demonstrated expertise in computer graphics, supported by publications at conferences such as SIGGRAPH, Eurographics, High Performance Graphics, NVIDIA GTC, or Pacific Graphics
Proficiency in WebAssembly, web graphics, 2D graphics, performance optimization, animation, geometry, or media
Interest in art and design applications
Experience using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to write, debug, and optimize code
Related industry experience via a past internship or full-time role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience collaborating across functions
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

THE TEAM
The People Team at Chainalysis is dedicated to enabling growth, building an inclusive environment, and providing the support that helps our employees do the best work of their careers. Chainalysis is at a defining moment, transforming from a product-based company to an intelligence platform AI native company. The People Team plays a critical role in ensuring our organization evolves as fast as our technology.
Our Go-To-Market organization, spanning Sales, Sales Engineering (Solution Architects), Customer Success, Partnerships, and Revenue Operations, is the engine driving that momentum. As we scale, our GTM teams need an HR Business Partner who operates with the same speed, intensity, and bias for action that defines the business itself.
THE ROLE
As Director, HR Business Partner, Go-To-Market, you will be the strategic people partner embedded directly within our GTM leadership team. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role at the Director level. You will not manage a team, but you will be expected to operate with the authority, judgment, and executive presence of a senior leader. You will own the full scope of people strategy for GTM end-to-end: from organizational design and talent planning to performance management, employee relations, and change management. You are the single point of accountability for translating business priorities into people initiatives that accelerate revenue growth.
A trusted, high-impact partnership with the COO will be critical to success in this role, one in which the HR Business Partner’s voice is heard, ideas are valued, and creative thinking shapes consequential people and business decisions. You are essential to GTM success. With a significant body of work ahead, this is not a role for the faint of heart; it requires the imagination, resourcefulness, resilience, and influence to turn ambitious priorities into meaningful results.
Their role demands an execution-oriented leader, someone who doesn't wait for direction, moves fast, takes risks, is willing to make mistakes, drives outcomes with urgency, and brings a relentless focus on getting things done. You thrive in high-growth, high-change environments and are energized by the pace and complexity of a scaling GTM organization. You are equally comfortable coaching a CRO or COO through a sensitive org restructure as you are rolling up your sleeves to build a new compensation framework or run a talent calibration session from scratch. Your opinion matters, have one.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL:
DRIVE GTM PEOPLE STRATEGY WITH SPEED AND PRECISION
- Own and execute the end-to-end people strategy for the Go-To-Market organization, directly partnering with the COO, CRO, and CCO to align talent priorities with revenue targets.
- Lead organizational design efforts to ensure the GTM structure scales efficiently, proactively identifying gaps, redundancies, and opportunities to optimize team composition as the business evolves.
- Develop and execute workforce planning strategies that anticipate hiring needs, succession gaps, and capability builds across Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Revenue Operations.
- Operate as a true business partner, not a support function. Bring data, recommendations, and a point of view to every leadership conversation, and hold leaders accountable to people's commitments.
OWN TALENT MANAGEMENT AND PERFORMANCE EXECUTION
- Drive and build a rigorous, outcomes-based performance management culture across GTM, ensuring that high performers are recognized and rewarded, and that underperformance is addressed swiftly and directly.
- Lead talent review and calibration processes for GTM, partnering with leaders to build robust succession plans for critical revenue-facing roles.
- Design and implement GTM-specific retention strategies, with a focus on high-impact sellers, technical sales talent, and customer-facing leaders in competitive talent markets.
- Coach and advise GTM managers at all levels on leadership development, team effectiveness, and building high-performing sales and customer success cultures.
EXECUTE ON COMPENSATION, INCENTIVES, AND GTM-SPECIFIC PROGRAMS
- Partner with Revenue Operations and Total Rewards to design and refine GTM compensation structures, including variable pay, sales incentive plans, SPIFs, and quota-setting frameworks that drive the right behaviors and outcomes.
- Analyze compensation competitiveness within the sales and GTM talent market, making proactive recommendations to attract and retain top revenue talent.
- Lead GTM-specific people programs including onboarding for revenue hires, ramp-time optimization, sales enablement alignment, and GTM-wide engagement initiatives, with a bias toward measurable impact.
LEAD CHANGE MANAGEMENT AND EMPLOYEE RELATIONS WITH CONVICTION
- Drive change management initiatives across GTM with urgency and clarity: territory realignments, org restructures, RIF planning, and M&A integration for acquired sales and customer teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee relations matters within GTM, handling complex and sensitive situations with sound judgment, speed, and discretion.
- Navigate ambiguity with confidence. In a fast-moving GTM environment, you make decisions with imperfect information, course-correct quickly, and never let process slow down progress.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies while maintaining a pragmatic, business-first approach to risk.
BUILD DEEP PARTNERSHIPS ACROSS THE BUSINESS
- Forge strong, trust-based relationships with the COO, CRO, CCO, and broader GTM executives. Become the go-to advisor on all things people, from strategic org decisions to day-to-day people challenges.
- Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition to drive aggressive hiring plans, ensuring the right talent pipeline for quota-carrying and customer-facing roles.
- Partner with People Operations, Total Rewards, L&D, and HRIS teams to ensure GTM-specific needs are reflected in company-wide programs and systems.
- Bring a "one team" mindset. While your focus is GTM, you operate as part of the broader People team and contribute to enterprise-wide HR initiatives and best practices.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO HAVE:
- 10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, with at least 5 years supporting Go-To-Market, Sales, or Revenue organizations in high-growth B2B SaaS or technology companies.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a Director-level individual contributor. You bring executive-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution in equal measure without needing a team behind you.
- A track record of thriving in fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environments. You've built and iterated on people strategies while the business was scaling rapidly around you.
- Deep expertise in GTM talent dynamics: sales compensation design, quota-based performance management, territory planning, and retention strategies for revenue-critical roles.
- Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders (VP and C-level) with data-driven recommendations and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Strong employee relations experience with a demonstrated ability to handle complex, high-stakes situations with speed, good judgment, and confidentiality.
- Exceptional communication skills. You are direct, clear, and persuasive, whether you're coaching a first-time manager or presenting an org design proposal to the executive team.
- An aggressive, action-oriented disposition. You are known for driving results, holding a high bar, and refusing to let inertia or ambiguity slow you down.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in blockchain, fintech, cybersecurity, or regulated technology industries.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday), people analytics tools, and modern HR tech stacks.
- Experience supporting globally distributed GTM teams across multiple regions and time zones.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)

WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
About the role
We're hiring a Chief of Staff to keep Cohere's AI organization running at full speed. You'll report to and support the Chief AI Officer and work to bridge across all teams and functions at Cohere (including research, modelling, product, delivery, security, sales and operations). In any given quarter, the org ships new AI product releases and demos, customer pilots and scaled solutions, security updates, often across regions and time zones. Your job is to make sure the right work priorities win when everything feels urgent, that our plans turn into high-quality shipped work, and that our Chief AI Officer can focus on leading instead of firefighting.
Much of this is operational: the planning calendar, the budget, the headcount plan, the weekly business reviews, the communication strategy (internal and external), the cross-functional handoffs. Your role is the operating rhythm of the org: meetings, priorities, plans, and the decisions that come out of them. You will be a member of an experienced, high-performing and supportive leadership team.
What you'll own
Own the operating rhythm and planning: annual and quarterly planning, goal-setting, and the weekly and monthly business reviews. Drive budget and headcount planning against the slate, and keep both honest as priorities shift mid-quarter.
Keep major programs from colliding or stalling across research, modelling, product, delivery, and security. Be the person teams come to when it isn't clear who owns a decision, or how to navigate trade-offs.
Be the connective tissue between the Chief AI Officer’s org and the rest of the company: cross-functional planning with product, engineering, security, and finance, so the org's commitments are realistic and its dependencies are visible.
Own and lead special projects: Lead the things that don't fit neatly on any one team's plate: a reorg, a new partnership, a flagship research event, an org-wide planning week. Own them end to end.
Who you are
You have 12+ years of operating experience, with real time inside an AI/ML organization in a Chief of Staff, business operations, or senior program-operations seat. You know how to partner with teams shipping fast & often to high-stakes organizations, and you know how to change course with agility when needed.
You understand how AI actually works—at the level of someone who's done it rather than managed it from a distance. You can talk credibly about how a model turns into a product, what data requirements demand from both research and engineering, and where delivery motions usually break. You're fluent in the numbers. Model performance metrics, data pipeline throughput, budget-to-impact. You don't have to run every program yourself. You do have to understand them well enough that the people who run them respect your judgment.
You hold strategy and execution in the same hand. You can sit in a planning conversation with the Chief AI Officer in the morning and chase down a stuck deliverable in the afternoon.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, you handle ambiguity with curiosity and confidence, you stay calm when it's messy. You have a track record of bringing order to a fast, complex org without grinding it to a halt.
You are an outstanding communicator and know how to wield soft power. Clear writing, straight talk, the ability to influence teams and individuals, and the executive presence to represent the Chief AI Officer in high-stakes conversations.

You will take real responsibility from the start, supported by experienced Sales leaders, coaching and a strong cohort community. This is one global programme, activated locally, with a clear platform to build a long-term commercial career.
What You’ll Do
- Master the payments craft: Build a deep understanding of Checkout.com http://Checkout.com’s products, the payments ecosystem and global payment trends so you can speak credibly with prospective merchants.
- Research strategic accounts: Conduct detailed research into organisations, industries, stakeholders and competitive landscapes to identify high-value opportunities.
- Create relevant conversations: Use thoughtful, creative and personalised outreach across phone, email, LinkedIn and other appropriate channels to open doors with the right decision-makers.
- Drive growth momentum: Build a consistent operating rhythm across prospecting, follow-up, discovery and pipeline management, generating qualified meetings and opportunities for Sales.
- Run advanced discovery: Move beyond the pitch to understand the merchant’s technical and business challenges, priorities and potential outcomes.
- Partner with Sales: Work closely with Sales representatives to progress opportunities, maintain momentum and support the commercial lifecycle through to successful financial go-live.
- Work cross-functionally: Partner with Solutions Engineering, Underwriting, Product, Marketing and other teams to align around merchant needs and accelerate the sales cycle.
- Leverage AI and sales technology: Use Salesforce, intent data, enrichment tools, analytics and approved AI tools to improve research, personalisation, territory planning and pipeline accuracy.
- Operate with rigour: Keep Salesforce accurate and up to date, apply qualification frameworks thoughtfully and use data to understand what is working and where to improve.
- Learn and contribute: Take part in cohort learning, enablement and community activities, share what you learn and contribute to a supportive, high-standard team environment.
What You Bring
- Hunger and drive: You set ambitious goals, work hard and keep going when the work becomes difficult.
- Commercial curiosity: You are interested in merchants, payments, fintech and how businesses create value. You ask sharp questions and connect product capabilities to customer outcomes.
- Learning velocity: You learn unfamiliar concepts quickly, apply feedback and improve between attempts.
- Resilience and ownership: You recover from setbacks, take responsibility for outcomes and follow through without needing to be chased.
- Analytical ability: You are comfortable with numbers, information and data. You can break down complex problems and use evidence to decide what to do next.
- Communication and presence: You listen carefully and communicate clearly in writing, conversation and presentations.
- Technical curiosity: You are interested in technology and motivated to use AI and sales tools to work smarter, not just harder.
- Coachability: You actively seek feedback and turn coaching into changed behaviour.
- Team impact: You believe in winning as a team, share information generously and collaborate respectfully across functions.
REQUIREMENTS
- The programme is designed for graduates and early-career builders. Previous BDR, sales or commercial experience is helpful, but not essential.
- You can demonstrate drive, ownership, resilience or achievement through professional, academic, entrepreneurial, sporting, community or personal experiences.
- You have a genuine interest in building a long-term commercial career and are motivated to progress beyond the BDR role over time.
- You are comfortable with a role that includes high-volume outreach, repetition, rejection and consistent follow-through.
- You are willing to learn complex products, use data and technology, and maintain high standards of CRM and operational discipline.
- You have strong written and verbal English. Additional local language requirements may apply depending on the market.
- You have the right to work in the location for which you are applying. Local working patterns, assessment arrangements and employment requirements will vary by market.

ABOUT MORPHO
Morpho is a leading Decentralized Finance (DeFi) lending protocol backed by a16z crypto, Paradigm, Ribbit Capital, Apollo, Vaneck, Coinbase Ventures, Variant and 50 others to build an open credit network giving anyone, anywhere, access to the best possible terms. Morpho is experiencing exponential adoption, with over billion in deposits on the network and used by institutional clients including Bitwise, Galaxy, and Anchorage Digital and the largest crypto exchanges, such as Coinbase, Binance, and Kraken. Now, Morpho is scaling its team of contributors to establish itself as the open credit network, not just of DeFi, but of the world.
WHY MORPHO EXISTS
Everyone has the potential to build something great for the world. But fulfilling that ambition almost always requires more: people willing to trust you with their capital. Yet access to capital still depends on where you live, who you know, and which institutions are willing to trust you. Even when capital is available, it sits fragmented across disconnected networks and hidden behind intermediaries. The result is a system that fails most of the people it should serve. Borrowers overpay. Lenders earn less than they should. Many are shut out entirely, not because they are unworthy of credit, but because today's infrastructure was never built to connect them. Morpho exists to solve this. Full article here https://morpho.org/blog/why-morpho-exists/.
LOCATION:
Paris or remote (from -5h GMT up to +2h GMT to ensure sufficient overlap with the rest of the team).
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Head of Security, you'll define and drive Morpho's security strategy across the entire organization - corporate IT, cloud and infrastructure, application, supply chain, identity, incident response, threat intelligence, and counterparty security - and you'll build the team and function to deliver it. This is a hands-on leadership role: in the early days you'll personally do the work while you hire, and you'll stay close enough to the technical detail to earn the trust of a deeply technical organization. You'll also be Morpho's credible security voice, internally to leadership, and externally to the integrators, institutions, and ecosystem partners who depend on us. You'll partner closely with Engineering on infrastructure and deployment integrity, and with our Integration team, which works with various partners across the Morpho ecosystem.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own and continuously evolve Morpho's security strategy and roadmap across, cloud/infrastructure, application, supply-chain, identity, and operational security.
- Build and lead the security function - hire, grow, and develop the team, recruiting skillsets across security operations and application security.
- Oversight of the IT function
- Stay hands-on. Personally execute critical security work - threat modeling, architecture review, control implementation, and incident command - while the team scales.
- Set the governance architecture: a coherent security framework that ties tooling and controls together, rather than accumulating tools in isolation.
- Own incident response end to end - runbooks, incident command, severity and escalation structure, and market communication during an event.
- Build and run a counterparty security program for curators and partners - identity verification, screening, operational diligence, and bidirectional incident-coordination channels.
- Lead Morpho's certification strategy (e.g. SOC 2, ISO 27001), meeting both the spirit and the letter sustainably.
- Represent Morpho's security posture externally - to fintechs, financial institutions, and the broader ecosystem - and internally to executives.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Protocol, and Integrations, driving security outcomes through both direct ownership and influence.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
FIRST 30 DAYS
- You've built a clear, independent picture of Morpho's posture, architecture, threat model, and in-flight work - and pressure-tested the existing strategy against it.
- You've met the team and established working relationships with the people who own the surfaces you'll most depend on.
- You understand the path-to-funds attack surface in depth and have an early, evidence-based view of the highest-severity risks and quick wins.
- You know exactly where incident-response readiness stands today.
FIRST 60 DAYS
- You've published a clearly prioritized security roadmap with clear sequencing, owners, and the rationale for what's deferred and aligned leadership behind it.
- You've defined the team build-out plan and opened the first hire.
- You're personally driving the top-severity gaps - identity and authentication enforcement, deployment guardrails, and a documented incident-response runbook among them.
- You've set the governance framework and the certification path in motion.
FIRST 90 DAYS
- Demonstrable progress closing the highest-priority gaps, with key controls enforced rather than optional.
- A documented incident-response capability that's been validated by at least one tabletop exercise.
- Hiring underway, and a clear operating rhythm established with Engineering, Protocol, and Integrations.
- Morpho's external security posture is taking shape - trust surface, counterparty security program, and ecosystem engagement - and you're recognized internally and externally as Morpho's credible security voice.
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- 10+ years in security, several of them building or leading a security function, ideally at a crypto/web3, fintech, or financial-services company where security is core to the business.
- Strong grasp of the crypto/web3 threat model
- Proven experience building and growing a security team from a small base, recruiting across security operations and application/infrastructure security.
- Deep, hands-on technical expertise across cloud, infrastructure, CI/CD, supply-chain, identity, and application security - you do the work, not just direct it.
- Owned incident response end to end, including incident command and external communication.
- Sharp prioritization and the ability to galvanize action through hard and soft influence, including driving outcomes through teams you don't own.
- Exceptional, organized, responsive communication - credible to executives and to external audiences from fintechs to Fortune 500 institutions.
- Humble.
NICE TO HAVE:
- An established network and public profile in the security or crypto-security community, and comfort representing security work publicly (talks, writing, framework contribution).
- Offensive security depth, or experience standing up red/blue capabilities.
- Familiarity with institutional and regulatory expectations and threat-sharing networks (e.g. Crypto ISAC, TIBER-style frameworks).
- Taken an organization through certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or equivalent)
PERKS & BENEFITS
We design benefits around deep work and growth, so you can do the best work of your career. Expect fair, top-tier compensation, real flexibility, time together in Paris, great health coverage, and support to keep learning.
