Location: Espoo; Berlin
Workplace: Hybrid
ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:
- Senior/Staff Platform Observability Engineer
- Location: Espoo, Finland / Berlin, Germany
- Department: Platform & Release Engineering
- Employment type: Permanent
- Workplace model: Hybrid
- Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO,)
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:
As a Platform Observability Engineer, you’ll make the health of ICEYE’s systems visible, actionable, and reliable. You’ll build and evolve the observability foundation across metrics, logs, and traces, helping teams detect issues early, understand failures faster, and operate their services with confidence. Your work will go beyond dashboards and alerts. You’ll reduce operational noise, eliminate blind spots, and give product teams the tools and autonomy to run reliable services.
WHO WE ARE
ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We deliver persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth.
ICEYE owns the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. To our customers we provide intelligence with unmatched quality, latency and revisit times, in any weather, day or night. To governments who choose to operate their own constellation we provide this proven capability as a sovereign system.
ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.
Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and continuously improve a unified, production-grade observability stack covering metrics, logs, and traces, giving every team a consistent, self-service way to understand and operate the health of their services.
- Build and maintain trusted alerting by tuning alerts against clear SLOs/SLIs, reducing noise, improving ownership and ensuring real issues surface early.
- Define, document, and drive adoption of instrumentation standards covering metric naming, label cardinality, structured logging, and distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry.
- Enable product teams to diagnose and resolve incidents faster through well-designed dashboards, runbooks, hands-on support, and practical observability guidance.
- Run the observability platform like a product, owning its roadmap, interfaces, reliability, scalability, and cost across areas such as retention, sampling, and cardinality.
- Provide clear technical direction for observability across the engineering organisation, making pragmatic architectural trade-offs and helping teams adopt platform capabilities effectively.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must haves:
1. Observability platform ownership at scale
6+ years in Platform Engineering, Observability, or infrastructure roles, with end-to-end ownership of a production observability stack (for example the LGTM stack - Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir/Prometheus - or an equivalent metrics/logs/traces platform) at scale.
- Instrumentation & telemetry: OpenTelemetry adoption, metric and label design, structured logging, and distributed tracing across complex, multi-team systems.
- SLO/SLI & error budgets: dashboards and alerting that surface real problems early while minimizing noise and false positives.
- Platform as a product: treating other engineering teams as customers, with clear interfaces and a roadmap shaped by their needs.
- Alerting & reliability attitude: comfortable with on-call, driving blameless learning from incidents, and continuously tuning signal quality instead of letting alert fatigue set in.
2. Software engineering foundation
- A background that includes time spent writing and shipping production software, bringing engineering instincts to building tooling and automation rather than only operating what already exists.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (for example Python or Go) for automation, tooling, and building internal observability capabilities.
3. Long-term ownership of your own decisions
Demonstrated experience owning the long-term consequences of your own architectural and tooling decisions - having lived with what you built through its maintenance, upgrades, and failure modes, not just its initial rollout.
4. Communication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, able to explain complex system behavior clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to haves:
1. Platform & telemetry breadth
- Rancher, Istio, and Kubernetes-native observability patterns (service mesh telemetry, sidecars, eBPF-based tooling).
- Bridging hybrid environments across AWS and on-prem platforms such as vSphere/VxRail.
- Managing cost and cardinality on large-scale telemetry pipelines (retention policies, sampling, downsampling).
2. Practices that spread beyond your own team
- Defining SLO/SLI frameworks or observability standards adopted across multiple teams.
- Running or contributing to incident response and blameless postmortem processes.
- Mentoring engineers and raising engineering maturity through technical leadership and enablement.
3. Domain context
Background in regulated, security-sensitive, or mission-critical domains.

An overview of this role
As a Support Engineer at GitLab, you'll sit at the intersection of Support and Engineering, helping customers solve complex, real-world challenges while running GitLab in diverse and demanding environments. You'll join the Engineering department and work directly with customers as they encounter edge cases. You'll dig into Linux systems, logs, and our Ruby on Rails codebase to troubleshoot performance issues, reproduce bugs, and contribute merge requests that fix problems at the source.
You'll also improve our documentation, refine support processes in our issue tracker, and collaborate closely with Product, Development, Infrastructure, Customer Success, and Sales so customer feedback directly shapes our roadmap. In your first year, you'll build deep expertise across a range of GitLab implementations, strengthen our ability to keep customers productive on both self-managed GitLab and GitLab.com software as a service, and help create tools and content that make support more efficient and effective for the entire team.
Some examples of our projects:
A tool to automatically check a GitLab Omnibus install for known issues
A solution to capture the state of a customer’s server for easier troubleshooting
A tool which turns log files into interactive tables to easily sort and filter columns
A ChatOps feature that makes it easier to identify user accounts on GitLab.com
What you’ll do
Act as an escalation point for difficult customer interactions and lead the resolution of complex issues through Zendesk tickets, merge requests, email, and video calls.
Mentor and guide teammates on complex troubleshooting and customer communication through pairing sessions and cross-team collaboration.
Advocate for and drive improvements to support practices, product quality, and reusable documentation and support content that directly influence team objectives.
Collaborate with Product, Development, Infrastructure, Customer Success, and Sales teams to shape product goals, roadmaps, and priorities while driving fixes and new features.
Participate in regular weekday and weekend on-call rotations during daytime hours, providing emergency support for self-managed GitLab and software as a service customers and coordinating incident communications with the GitLab.com Production team.
Participate in hiring by reviewing applications and assessments and joining interviews to help grow the Support team.
What you’ll bring
Experience owning complex, customer-facing technical cases from initial contact through triage, reproduction, bug reporting, resolution, and clear customer communication, including difficult or escalated interactions.
Strong experience with Linux systems administration, scripting, Git, and continuous integration and continuous delivery in production or customer environments, with the ability to investigate issues at both the infrastructure and application levels.
Ability to mentor teammates on complex troubleshooting and customer communication through pairing sessions, case reviews, and cross-team collaboration.
Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to turn customer feedback into product fixes, feature improvements, and roadmap priorities.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and technologies such as Kubernetes and serverless computing, and an understanding of how different GitLab implementations operate and affect customers.
Demonstrated ability to learn, collaborate across teams, and apply transferable skills from related technical support or engineering roles.

Help Us Build The Future of Travel
At Airalo, we're making it easier for people to stay connected wherever they travel. As the world's first eSIM store, we help millions of travelers access affordable mobile data in 200+ countries and regions around the world.
Today, we're a team of 400+ people across 60+ countries, building a product used by travelers every day. We've grown quickly, but we've worked hard to keep what matters: trust, ownership, and the freedom for people to do great work without unnecessary layers or bureaucracy.
We're fully remote by design, genuinely global, and united by a shared mission to make travel simpler for everyone.
Your Next Destination
Location: Remote.
Contract: Full-time, permanent.
Benefits: Learn more about our benefits here in this link - https://airalo-public.notion.site/Benefits-25396a97ffca81fb9bc1f0be479f1be3?pvs=74
Languages: English is our main working language day to day, so you'll need to be comfortable communicating in it both in meetings and async.
We're looking for a Staff Data Scientist, Pricing to build the analytical and machine learning capability that pricing runs on, from demand modelling through to the systems that recommend price.
You won't be starting from zero. We've invested in the foundational data and infrastructure that pricing decisions depend on. What's missing is the capability on top: models the business trusts, experiments that settle pricing questions with evidence, and economics defined once so they hold consistently across Commercial, Product and the customer experience.
The arc of the role runs from measurement to prediction to prescription - understanding how demand responds to price, forecasting how it will respond, and ultimately building the models that recommend the price itself.
What You'll Do:
Build and own the demand and elasticity modelling capability, quantifying how price affects volume across destination, duration, data tier, and customer segment.
Develop machine learning models for demand forecasting and willingness-to-pay, and take them from exploration through to production with the monitoring and retraining that keeps them honest.
Move us from predictive to prescriptive by building the optimisation layer that turns forecasts and elasticities into recommended prices under margin, competitive and partner constraints.
Design and analyse pricing experiments with statistical rigour, and apply causal methods where clean randomisation isn't possible.
Define pricing within our data ecosystem, owning the governed definitions of price, cost and package economics that reporting, analysis and product surfaces all read from.
Partner with Commercial and Finance to connect pricing decisions to margin and revenue, and to size opportunities before we commit.
Set the analytical standard for pricing at Airalo, from what counts as evidence through to how a model or recommendation gets validated before it influences live pricing.
What You'll Bring:
7+ years in data science, quantitative economics, or applied research, including pricing, monetisation, or marketplace economics work that demonstrably changed decisions.
Experience with dynamic or algorithmic pricing systems in production.
An advanced degree in Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research or similar, or equivalent applied depth in demand estimation and the identification problems that make naive price-quantity regressions wrong.
Hands-on machine learning experience across the full lifecycle, from feature engineering and model selection through to deployment
Familiarity with optimisation and decision-science methods that turn predictions into recommended actions, whether through constrained optimisation, bandits, or reinforcement learning approaches.
Proven experimentation expertise, having designed and defended experiments with a clear view on decision frameworks and common failure modes.
Experience building analytical capability where none existed before, turning raw data and a business question into something a commercial team uses repeatedly.
Strong data modelling instincts, thinking in reusable definitions and single sources of truth rather than standalone analyses.
The ability to move comfortably between financial, product and operational data and connect the analysis to a financial outcome.
Genuine partnership instincts, translating between analytical rigour and commercial reality so that Commercial and Product come to you early rather than after the decision.
Fluency in the Python ML stack alongside strong SQL, with the engineering hygiene to hand over code that others can run and maintain.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to make a methodological argument to people who won't check your standard errors.
A self-starter mindset that thrives in ambiguity and brings structure without waiting for permission.
Comfort using AI tools to augment analytical work, with a point of view on where they help and where they don't
Nice to have:
Experience in marketplace, telecom, travel, or subscription/usage-based businesses.
Bayesian or hierarchical modelling for sparse segments and long-tail SKUs.
Competitive price response modelling, or working with scraped competitor pricing data.
Familiarity with dbt, LightDash, or similar semantic/BI layers.
Experience designing semantic or metric layers consumed by both analytics and production systems.
Experience working in cross-functional teams spanning commercial, finance and product disciplines.

Languages: English is our main working language day to day, so you'll need to be comfortable communicating in it both in meetings and async.
We are seeking a versatile Solution Architect to lead the localized adaptation and system integration of our Global MVNO Core. Your mission is to ensure that our platform (HSS, DRA, PGW) isn't just "connected," but fully optimized for specific local market requirements.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between our standardized engineering sprints and the diverse, custom-heavy needs of local MNOs, regulators, and partners. You will provide the "Functional Why and What" to the Core Network Engineers, allowing them to focus on the technical architecture while you ensure all regional mandates and interconnectivity specifications are met.
Responsibilities:
Acting as the primary conduit between legal/regulatory findings and the Core Network team, translating regional mandates into clear functional requirements and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
Leading requirement discovery workshops with local MNOs, regulators, and internal teams to define scope, priorities, and implementation approach.
Comparing local regulatory requirements against existing platform capabilities and collaborating with Core Engineers to identify necessary enhancements, trade-offs, and phased delivery options.
Creating high-level technical workflows and flowcharts for regulatory services (e.g., MNP, Lawful Interception) to guide engineering teams and drive consistent implementation patterns.
Defining business rules and data exchange requirements for Number Portability (MNP) and specifying functional needs for voice/SMS routing, including edge cases and exception handling.
Defining data points and reporting frequencies required by local authorities, ensuring the engineering team builds the necessary data extraction tools and validation checks.
Leading the definition of acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and sign-off requirements to ensure that technical delivery successfully satisfies the specific regulatory hurdles of each country.
Managing the technical-regulatory checklist for various countries simultaneously, ensuring all dependencies are captured for the development sprint and risks are proactively escalated.
Coordinating with local central databases and external partners to ensure interworking specifications meet local quality-of-service mandates and integration readiness milestones.
Mentoring and upskilling Solution Analysts and cross-functional delivery teams on best practices for writing user stories, functional specifications, and traceability from regulation to implementation.
Providing functional leadership to development teams by clarifying intent, reviewing stories/acceptance criteria, and supporting solution design decisions that balance compliance, scalability, and maintainability.
Must haves:
7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Solution Architect, preferably within the Telecom or Tech industry.
Proven ability to synthesize complex regulatory documents into actionable engineering tasks.
Comfortable discussing technical concepts such as SIP, SMS routing, and MNP databases with engineers.
Highly skilled in writing clear User Stories, Functional Specs, and managing Jira tickets that an engineering team can execute against.
Experience or deep interest in international roaming, interconnectivity, and the nuances of varying global telecom markets.
Ability to create clear, structured technical documentation and process flowcharts.
Experience coaching and mentoring members of the team
Ability to act as a liaison between legal, product, and engineering teams.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
Prior work experience in MVNO or Mobile Core environments.
Experience with GSMA standards and eSIM technology.
Familiarity with Lawful Interception (LI) and regional compliance reporting.

Your job will be to work closely with production teams, operations teams, and software teams to ensure smooth and performant operation of our Attitude and Orbit Control Systems in development and deployed environments. Expect to be involved in the complete lifecycle of the system - from design phases of next-generation architectures to maintenance and optimization of existing systems we and our customers operate.
We move fast. At ICEYE, you are expected to understand the whole system - not just your slice of it - and to iterate quickly. Designs you work on today can be launched to orbit within months, not years. This is an environment where your decisions carry real weight and your work becomes tangible faster than almost anywhere else in the industry.
You will have a direct impact on mission success as the performance and reliability of our AOCS electronics directly affect the operational capabilities we deliver to our customers and the overall performance of our fleet.

About the company:
KIEFER is building Greece's integrated AI ecosystem. From renewable energy infrastructure and AI systems to robotics and enterprise applications, we connect the technologies that power Europe's intelligent future. Founded in 2014, KIEFER has delivered 600MW+ of energy projects and is now developing sovereign AI infrastructure, enterprise AI products and physical AI systems for Greece and Southeast Europe.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Sales Director to own the commercialization of KIEFER's AI, Robotics, and Operational Intelligence stack directly with major utilities, grid operators, and energy conglomerates in Greece and the broader EU market.
You will act as the bridge between KIEFER's advanced AI engineering and the operational realities of the energy sector - a highly technical, strategic sales role that requires peer-to-peer credibility with utility COOs, CTOs, and Heads of Innovation.
This is not a generalist SaaS sales role. You should be comfortable navigating long, complex procurement cycles and public tenders, translating AI and robotics capability into operational and financial ROI, and bringing market reality back to the CEO and Product team to help sharpen product-market fit.
What you will do
- Build and close a high-value pipeline of enterprise deals across the Greek and SE European energy sector (e.g., DEDDIE, IPTO, PPC, Mytilineos, HELLENiQ Energy)
- Translate KIEFER's AI, robotics, and Sovereign AI Data Center capabilities into concrete operational and financial ROI for grid operators
- Navigate complex procurement cycles, public tenders, and regulatory requirements (NIS2, EU AI Act, DORA) inherent to critical-infrastructure sales
- Partner closely with Engineering and Product Architecture to run a technical pre-sales motion, opening doors and setting the strategic frame while the team proves technical capability
- Act as the voice of the energy market back to the CEO and Product team, helping refine PMF based on real utility pain points (SCADA integration, substation inspection, edge compute)
- Own account planning and relationship management for KIEFER's most strategic energy accounts, including the existing DEDDIE/IPTO relationship
What you will need
- 10+ years selling complex, high-value technical solutions directly to utilities, grid operators, or large energy conglomerates
- Deep understanding of grid infrastructure, substation operations, EMS/ADMS, SCADA, and industrial automation protocols (e.g., IEC 61850)
- Familiarity with the regulatory landscape for European critical infrastructure (NIS2, EU AI Act, DORA, data sovereignty, on-premise/air-gapped deployment)
- Proven track record closing 6-to-7-figure enterprise deals through long, multi-stakeholder procurement cycles (technical, legal, procurement, C-suite)
- Peer-to-peer credibility with utility COOs, CTOs, and Heads of Innovation
- Based in Athens, with willingness to travel regularly across SE Europe
Nice to have
- Existing relationships with DEDDIE/HEDNO, IPTO, PPC, Mytilineos, HELLENiQ Energy, or comparable SE European utilities/energy conglomerates
- Experience navigating EU AI Act or DORA compliance in a commercial context
- Background bridging Energy EPC and technology/AI commercialization
- Experience selling robotics or industrial automation (e.g., inspection, edge compute) alongside software
- Prior exposure to sovereign, on-premise, or air-gapped AI infrastructure deployments
What is there for you
- Impact - sell the core intelligence layer that will define how national critical infrastructure operates for the next decade
- Access - report directly to the CEO and work alongside top-tier strategic advisors
- Unfair advantage - sovereign GPU infrastructure and strategic partnerships with NVIDIA, and Unitree
- Ownership - build and scale the sales motion for KIEFER's energy vertical across SE Europe
- Category - be at the forefront of Europe's shift toward Autonomous Operations and sovereign AI infrastructure
- Culture - direct CEO access, high autonomy, low bureaucracy
Location: Espoo
Workplace: Hybrid
Role highlights:
- Senior Satellite Industrialization Engineer
- Location: Espoo, Finland
- Department: Industrialization Systems / Global Manufacturing Organization (GMO)
- Employment type: Permanent
- Workplace model: Office / Hybrid

Why this role matters:
As a Senior Satellite Industrialization Engineer, you'll do the hands-on technical work that moves satellite designs toward industrial maturity (MRL 8-9). You'll contribute to the DFM/DFX design standard, act as a technical reviewer at design-review gates, and help define the production line, automation, and facility requirements behind them. Your depth in RF, optical, or broader satellite systems keeps that work grounded in what a real satellite design actually requires.
Who We Are
ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space.
- Support the design-review gates your team is involved in: help define gate criteria and participate as a technical reviewer.
- Support the definition of industrialization requirements beyond the design standard: production line design requirements, automation requirements, and facility requirements for satellite and subsystem manufacturing.
- Work with Engineering, AIT, and Production teams to gather the input needed to define these requirements against real design and production constraints.
- Support coordination with ICEYE's Global Manufacturing Infrastructure team on the detail needed to implement line, automation, and facility requirements at each site.
- Build and maintain manufacturability and industrialization tooling: checklists, scorecards, and templates that design and production teams actually use.
- Help track the target metrics that satellite and subsystem designs are measured against as they move through MRL stages.
- Support the interface with the Manufacturing Engineering function, helping capture field and design friction and translate it into standard updates.
What we’re looking for
Must haves:
- Hands-on design or systems engineering background in satellite hardware, with depth in RF, optical, or broader satellite subsystems.
- Solid understanding of how design decisions affect manufacturability, tolerancing, integration, and test outcomes.
- Comfortable doing the technical work of building and maintaining standards, gate criteria, and tooling, under the direction of the function's lead.
- Experience working alongside Engineering, AIT, or Production teams to gather technical input.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate technical design detail into clear standard and tooling content.
Nice to haves:
- Prior exposure to DFM/DFX practices, design-review gates, or producibility standards in aerospace or comparable hardware environments.
- Experience contributing to production line, automation, or facility requirements for hardware manufacturing.
- Familiarity with cleanroom environments and EGSE/MGSE.
- Experience in a multi-site or scale-up manufacturing environment.
Application Process
- Talent Acquisition Interview
