About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the team
Secure Frameworks is the team in Anthropic's Security Engineering org that builds shared security libraries and frameworks the rest of the company builds on. We collaborate closely with teams and leaders across Anthropic to own critical security foundations, including workload identity and authorization, cryptographic frameworks, and the centralized access proxy that secures traffic to internal applications.
Our mission is to make the secure thing easy and the easy thing secure by helping Anthropic engineers get secure behaviour by default and preventing entire classes of vulnerabilities through careful design. We own what we ship, help customers adopt better security practices and at times we work embedded directly in research, infrastructure or product teams.
About the role
You will design, build and run security foundations used across Anthropic's fleet, from threat model through production, on-call and adoption. Much of the work is greenfield: our infrastructure is growing quickly and the timelines are compressed, so you will help define the architecture rather than inherit it. Depending on your strengths you will focus on one or two of the areas below and contribute across the rest.
Build critical security foundations including cryptographic frameworks, mTLS infrastructure, secure serialization, and authorization systems, designed to prevent entire classes of vulnerabilities
Partner with product, research, infrastructure, and other security teams to ensure frameworks integrate smoothly with lower-layer security controls
Scope, design and build security services and libraries end-to-end, maintain them in production, and drive through ambiguous technical problems with minimal oversight
Build and operate the zero-trust access gateway that fronts Anthropic's internal services
Design and roll out authorization frameworks so services enforce least privilege consistently instead of each inventing its own access controls
Own cryptographic frameworks and libraries
Mentor engineers, contribute to hiring, and grow security engineering culture across Anthropic
Minimum qualifications
8+ years of software engineering experience building security-relevant systems in production, including leading complex initiatives independently
Strong programming skills in Go, Rust or Python
Deep understanding of authentication and authorization systems: OAuth 2.0 / OIDC, JWTs, service-to-service auth, policy-based access control
Hands-on experience with PKI, X.509, mTLS and workload identity
Working knowledge of applied cryptography: choosing and composing primitives correctly, key management, and the ways libraries fail in practice
Experience shipping and operating high-reliability services on Kubernetes across cloud and on-prem environments, including being on call for them
A track record of bringing clarity and ownership to ambiguous technical problems and driving them to resolution across teams
A strong sense of developer experience
Clear communication across all levels of the organization
Passion for AI safety and the role security engineering plays in building trustworthy AI systems
Preferred qualifications
Built security frameworks or libraries adopted across an engineering organization, and done the work to drive that adoption
Built or operated a zero-trust / BeyondCorp-style access gateway or identity-aware proxy
Migrated a fleet to mTLS at scale, including certificate issuance and staged enforcement
Maintained or contributed to open-source cryptographic libraries
Designed authorization systems using policy languages or relationship-based models
Familiarity with ML infrastructure (training, inference serving)

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

About the role
The Security Risk team is responsible for how Anthropic identifies, prioritizes, and drives treatment of its most important security risks. We are rebuilding risk management to operate as an engineering function, using automation, quantitative risk and AI-native platforms to enable decision making. The risks we assess span Anthropic's full security landscape, so the team needs breadth across domains and the judgment to go deep wherever a decision demands it. Security Risk, in deep partnership with Security Engineering, helps define the security program and shapes how investment and treatment decisions get made.
The conventional GRC playbook was not built for a company shipping frontier AI. You will help define what replaces it, with a direct line to CISO-level decisions. As a Security Risk Analyst you will take risk questions from leadership and partner teams and drive them to a decision. Sometimes that is a fast, structured qualitative assessment and other times it is a deep FAIR-based quantitative analysis. Either way you bring leadership a clear position, the tradeoffs, and honest uncertainty, and you defend it under challenge. In parallel, you will help turn quantitative risk into a product partner teams can leverage, and define the standards a growing risk function will run on.
Key responsibilities
Enable leadership and partner teams to make risk-informed decisions. Take ambiguous risk questions, drive them to a documented decision, and communicate the quantitative and qualitative tradeoffs clearly
Lead quantitative analysis of the company's top security risk scenarios using FAIR, calibrated estimation, and simulation, working with the engineers who own the systems and presenting results in terms leadership can act on
Partner with Security Engineering to assess threat scenarios and control effectiveness so security investment is right-sized to actual risk and remediation is sequenced where it buys down the most risk
Frame escalations and risk treatment decisions with a clear recommendation, an honest statement of uncertainty, and re-evaluation triggers, and pressure test those decisions with risk owners
Shape the analysis and narrative behind leadership risk reviews, and help define risk appetite and the risk metrics the organization should measure and why
Use AI and automation to scale risk analysis, and own the calibration and quality review that keep the outputs trustworthy
Turn one-off analyses into reusable methods, templates, and training so risk analysis becomes increasingly self service for partner teams, and raise the analytical quality of the risk register
You may be a good fit if you
Have owned security or technology risk analysis end to end, qualitative and quantitative, and can point to a decision your output changed, whether a funding call, a launch call, a remediation sequence, or a documented acceptance
Have hands-on FAIR-style quantification experience, including scenario decomposition, calibrated estimation, and Monte Carlo simulation in Python, R, or spreadsheet tooling, briefed to decision makers
Thrive in ambiguity. You frame a moving question into something analyzable, pick the depth that fits, and drive to a decision rather than a report
Put defensible severity and likelihood on ambiguous problems, state uncertainty honestly, and change your position when the evidence changes
Have enough technical security depth to decompose an attack path with security engineers and be credible in the room
Can compress a complex risk position into one paragraph for the CISO, make the tradeoff explicit, and defend it under pointed questions
Use Claude or other LLMs as daily working tools and review model output critically
Are low ego and collaborative, build credibility through the work, and care about AI safety and the role security risk plays in it
Strong candidates may also
Have applied FAIR-CAM or another structured approach to control effectiveness and attack path modeling
Have built or operated a cyber risk quantification program, or turned quantitative analysis into tooling, templates, or training that others ran
Have helped define risk appetite or tolerance thresholds an organization actually used to make decisions
Bring a background in security engineering, detection, threat intelligence, actuarial science, or decision science that grounds the numbers in real systems
Are familiar with security risks specific to AI systems, such as goal or intent modification, and how they change traditional threat models

Anthropic's Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team is the connective tissue that holds the company accountable to its security commitments. We translate regulatory, customer, and voluntary obligations into controls that teams act on, and give leadership a bird's-eye view of how well we're meeting them. We're building toward a fundamentally different kind of GRC: one that directs Claude, with the right humans in the loop, to challenge and evidence the performance of controls continuously rather than through periodic audits.
Within Security GRC, Compliance and Audit Programs (CAP) runs the integrated audit across our frameworks and maintains the Common Control Framework the program hangs off. This role sits in Compliance & Audit Programs and works one regime family, US public sector, from requirements through authorization and ongoing compliance, working alongside the public sector engineering pods rather than downstream of them.
About the role
You'll help drive the compliance programs that keep Anthropic's US government authorizations current: federal civilian (FedRAMP, including FedRAMP 20x for Claude Enterprise), Department of War (DoD impact levels, CMMC, NIST SP 800-171), and state and local (StateRAMP, TX-RAMP and agency requirements). You'll own the recurring cycles those authorizations run on (continuous monitoring, POA&M, annual assessments, significant changes), help build new authorizations as we add them, and keep every frontier model's authorizations current.
You'll turn government requirements into specific, testable requirements that engineering teams build against, review the evidence that comes back, and say so when a launch is not ready for a government boundary. You'll map US government requirements onto our Common Control Framework so the public sector view and the integrated audit view of the same control stay one framework. Building with Claude is a normal part of the job: mapping, evidence collection and reporting, with you deciding where human judgment stays in the loop.
This is an individual contributor role, working closely with a peer on US public sector compliance, for someone who works well independently, writes clearly, and gets satisfaction from a government authorization that holds up as the product changes underneath it.
Key responsibilities
Run the recurring compliance cycles for our US government authorizations (continuous monitoring, POA&M, annual assessments, SSP updates, significant changes and incident notifications), starting with C4G on Palantir FedStart and the NIST SP 800-171 assessment with Schellman
Co-own FedRAMP 20x work for Claude Enterprise, and help build new authorizations (first-party FedRAMP High, DoW impact levels, StateRAMP and TX-RAMP) with requirements and evidence work
Support model authorizations in GovCloud and Vertex for every model launch, as the GRC member of the Inference and model delivery pod
Translate government obligations into partner team requirements, for example vulnerability SLAs in our internal vulnerability reporting platform, and review the evidence
Answer public sector customer and deal questions (what a boundary allows, CUI, IRS Publication 1075, CJIS, ITAR), and handle questionnaires and RFIs until they move to Customer Trust
Map US government requirements onto the Common Control Framework with the Controls Assurance Lead and keep one source of truth for status
Build with Claude: automate mapping, evidence collection and reporting, and verify machine-drafted language before it becomes the record
Minimum qualifications
Several years in security compliance or IT audit with hands-on US government compliance for a cloud service (FedRAMP, DoD impact levels, CMMC or NIST SP 800-171, or StateRAMP), including the ongoing compliance cycle after authorization
Working command of the NIST SP 800-53 Moderate baseline and the mechanics of authorization: boundary definition, control implementation statements, assessment, continuous monitoring, POA&M and significant change
Experience writing requirements for engineering teams from a control baseline and reviewing the evidence that came back
Working knowledge of how a GovCloud or Vertex style government region differs from commercial, and what changes when a model, feature or region is added to an authorized boundary
Enough technical fluency to read a runbook, configuration or pipeline definition and judge whether it enforces the written control
Clear writing, because implementation statements and status reports are what assessors, engineers and leadership work from
Ability to get partner teams to prioritize and close compliance work without authority over them
Preferred qualifications
Have taken a service through FedRAMP High or DoD IL4 or IL5, or supported a service on classified networks
Have worked on a FedRAMP 20x pilot or built machine-readable evidence or reporting for an assessor
Have applied LLMs to compliance work such as control mapping, evidence testing or continuous evidence collection
Hold or are eligible for a US security clearance
Experience with state and local requirements such as StateRAMP, TX-RAMP, IRS Publication 1075 or CJIS
You don't need to
Have done everything on this list or worked every regime. The scarce combination is running a government authorization on its recurring cycle plus the judgment to tell whether a control actually works
Write production code. The bar is fluency sufficient to read, query and challenge
Hold every certification. CISSP, CISA, CGRC or similar are welcome and not required
Have prior AI industry experience
Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be received on a rolling basis.

Anthropic's Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team is the connective tissue that holds the company accountable to its security commitments. We translate regulatory, customer, and voluntary obligations into controls that teams act on, and give leadership a bird's-eye view of how well we're meeting them. We're building toward a fundamentally different kind of GRC: one that directs Claude, with the right humans in the loop, to challenge and evidence the performance of controls continuously rather than through periodic audits.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the security policy partner for AI agent governance, authoring the policies and standards for how agents are built, deployed, operated
Define review and approval criteria when an agent may interact with sensitive or regulated data, and which actions require human approval as it relates to compliance frameworks
Serve as the GRC reviewer within existing engineering approval workflows
Define data governance requirements for agents, including least-privilege access, access reviews, and handling of regulated and sensitive data
Monitor agent behavior over time and adapt governance requirements in partnership with cross-functional security, research and engineering teams
Map agent security and data controls to AI governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 42001, EU AI Act), strengthening Anthropic's certification efforts ensuring agent security is auditable
Assess and document agent-related security and compliance risks, driving them to resolution with engineering owners
Own the policy for agent-related risk acceptances and exceptions, including approval authority, duration and re-review
You may be a good fit if you:
Have 8+ years in security governance, risk, and compliance, including ownership of security policies and control standards at a technology company
Have owned or meaningfully supported efforts to compartmentalize sensitive data, PII, or intellectual property, and understand how identity and access mechanisms implement or undermine protection boundaries
Think about non-human identities as a distinct risk and control category, and can design least-privilege access and accountability controls for systems acting on a person's behalf
Can reason from a threat model to a control and explain the tradeoff to both an engineer and an auditor
Have defined risk-based review or approval criteria within engineering workflows and kept them effective under high change velocity
Deliver clear, precise written work for both technical and non-technical audiences
Thrive in ambiguous environments with no settled industry playbook, where you're expected to propose the standard rather than wait for one
Are energized by being the security and risk authority who educates and influences outcomes rather than only advises
Strong candidates may also:
Understand the security properties of LLM agents, whether from an AI, developer-platform, or agent-tooling company, or through comparable experience
Bring familiarity with AI governance frameworks alongside traditional security frameworks
Have adapted controls from regulated or highly sensitive environments to an open, high-trust engineering culture
Possess relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CCSP, ISO 27001 or ISO 42001 Lead Implementer/Auditor)
Candidates need not have:
Done everything on this list before. Very few people have governed AI agents at scale — we care more about how you reason about access, accountability, and blast radius than about a prior title.
Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be received on a rolling basis.

About the Role
As an AV Engineer focused on Platform & Automation, you'll build and own the software layer of Anthropic's collaboration systems — the tools, integrations, and engineering practices that let a small AV team support a fast-growing global office portfolio. Our rooms, event spaces, and broadcast systems are increasingly managed through APIs and code: device management platforms, DSP and control systems, conferencing administration, ticketing, and paging. Your job is to turn that surface into reliable, team-owned tooling, and to bring software engineering discipline to how we build and maintain it.
You can expect a lot of your time writing, shipping, and operating code — fleet health monitoring, automated room testing and ticketing, integrations between our AV platforms and IT systems, and the internal tools that AV Engineering, AV Operations, and Events rely on every day. You'll also help own the administration of the software platforms we already run, and set the standards for how the team version-controls, reviews, tests, releases, and maintains everything from DSP designs to firmware to internal services.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and ship internal tools and integrations that monitor, test, and manage AV and collaboration systems across every office
Develop fleet health monitoring and automated room testing that catch failures before users report them and open actionable tickets automatically
Build integrations across device and platform APIs — Q-SYS (including plugins and Lua control scripts), Logitech Sync, Google Meet hardware, digital signage; and IT systems such as Jira, Slack, PagerDuty, and Google Workspace
Automate repetitive operational work: provisioning, configuration baselines, drift detection, certificate renewal, and asset data — with code others can read, test, and maintain
Own administration and lifecycle of the software platforms behind the AV estate, including firmware and software release management with staged rollouts and rollback plans
Operate internal tools as production services, with monitoring, alerting, service metrics, and runbooks, on team-owned repositories and service identities so nothing depends on one person
Establish the team's engineering practices: source control, code review, testing, CI/CD, and release — and bring AV configuration under version control, with standards set for integrator deliverables and acceptance verified before changes land
Enable AV Engineers, Operations Specialists, and Production staff to contribute safely through templates, guardrails, and review paths built for non-developers
Partner with Security, IT Engineering, and Network on least-privilege API access, secrets management, and integration with enterprise standards
Gather requirements from AV Operations, Events, and AV Engineering, prioritize the tooling roadmap by operational impact, and decide where to build, buy, or push a vendor to close a gap
You May Be a Good Fit If You:
Have 10+ years of experience across AV, collaboration, or IT systems engineering, including 4+ years writing, shipping, and maintaining production code that other people depend on
Are fluent in at least one general-purpose language: Python, Lua, Go, TypeScript, or similar — and comfortable with shell scripting
Practice engineering fundamentals by default: Git-based workflows, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, logging, and observability
Understand how AV and collaboration systems work: DSP and control, conferencing platforms, room devices, signal flow, AV-over-IP — well enough to build reliable tools on top of them
Have built integrations against REST APIs, webhooks, and vendor SDKs, and know how to handle auth, rate limits, pagination, retries, and partial failure
Have owned a tool or service in production over time, not just written it, including fixing it when it broke and handing it off cleanly
Have defined engineering practices for a team, especially one where most contributors aren't developers
Turn operational pain into well-scoped tooling, and can say no to work that shouldn't be built
Thrive in a fast-moving environment where standards are being written rather than inherited
Strong Candidates May Also Have Experience With:
Q-SYS Lua scripting and plugin development
Logitech Sync and CollabOS, and Google Meet hardware administration through the Google Admin console and Admin SDK
Google Workspace APIs, GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler, Pub/Sub, Secret Manager), and Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code
Jira, Slack, and PagerDuty APIs and automation
Crestron, Extron, or other control system programming
Dante, AES67, NDI, and network fundamentals for AV-over-IP, including multicast, VLANs, and QoS
Building with LLMs — agentic automation, LLM-assisted internal tools, or MCP integrations
Monitoring and alerting stacks such as Prometheus and Grafana, and containerized deployment
Q-SYS Level 2, CTS, or equivalent demonstrated capability
Role Specific Location Policy:
This role will be based in our San Francisco or New York City office
This role is expected to be in office 50% of the time
Up to 4 weeks of domestic and international travel annually for platform rollouts, new-office readiness, and on-site testing
Business-hours escalation coverage for the tools and platforms this role owns
Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be received on a rolling basis.

As a manager of Applied AI Engineers for Anthropic's Megas segment, you will lead a team of deeply technical engineers embedded with our largest and most strategic accounts. These companies are partner-customers: they are among our biggest revenue drivers and also some of our most important go-to-market distribution channels. Each one consumes Claude to transform its own business and distributes Claude through its platforms and marketplaces. Your team works hands-on with their product and engineering organizations as they build on Claude: co-designing complex technical solutions, advising on architecture, developing evaluation frameworks, and guiding them through the most advanced implementation patterns for LLMs.
You will hire, coach, and grow this team while staying close enough to the technology to set a high bar for engineering judgment. Your engineers work in account-aligned pods alongside Applied AI Architects, and you'll partner closely with pod leads, Mega Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Research. You'll guide your team from technical discovery through production deployment, turn wins at one Mega into reference architectures and patterns that compound across the others, and channel Mega-driven requirements back into Anthropic's product and research roadmap, all while maintaining our high standards for safety and reliability. This is a fast-moving space at the frontier of what's possible with LLMs, and you'll help define how we scale technical impact across our most important relationships.
Responsibilities
Build, coach, and grow a team of Applied AI Engineers serving Mega accounts: hire strong technical builders, develop them through structured feedback and clear competency expectations, and create scalable onboarding for a customer-facing technical role.
Staff engineers into account-aligned pods alongside Applied AI Architects, balancing deep account continuity with flexibility to move expertise where the segment needs it most.
Set performance goals aligned with each Mega's technical account plan and the segment's consumption objectives, and establish the metrics, reporting cadence, and dashboards that keep pod leads and cross-functional stakeholders informed on team health and impact.
Serve as a senior technical advisor to Mega product and engineering leaders as they deploy production Claude workloads: guiding architecture design, evaluation strategy, and advanced prompting, agentic, and implementation patterns from discovery through deployment.
Lead hands-on co-build initiatives with Mega engineering teams, from prototypes and pilots to production deployments, in support of each account's joint roadmap with Anthropic.
Help navigate the partner-customer duality: support both direct consumption and the distribution of Claude through Mega platforms and marketplaces, and exercise sound judgment about what we build together and share.
Act as a technical escalation point for your team's accounts, and partner with pod leads and Mega Sales to sequence technical work for maximum customer value.
Build shared assets across pods, including reference architectures, agentic patterns, and eval frameworks, so that what one pod learns benefits every Mega account.
Collaborate with Product and Research to surface Mega-driven requirements with the right weight and context, advocating for high-impact product changes without becoming a feature-request pass-through.
Champion scalable public and internal assets documenting the latest LLM prompting, evaluation, agentic, and architecture techniques; contribute thought leadership through talks, blog posts, and white papers.
Maintain strong, current knowledge of LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and the AI product development stack, and translate it into practical guidance for your team and customers.
Travel to customer sites for workshops, executive technical sessions, implementation support, and relationship building, and represent Anthropic at conferences and speaking engagements.
You may be a good fit if you have
6+ years of experience in technical roles such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Software Engineer, Solutions/Sales Engineer, or Technical Product Manager.
4+ years of experience operating in a formal leadership capacity, ideally with some tenure as a manager of managers/multiple teams. Former technical founders are also encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated success hiring, coaching, and scaling customer-facing technical teams, ideally in a fast-moving or hypergrowth environment.
Experience supporting large, named strategic accounts at a platform, infrastructure, or model company, ideally where the account was both a customer and a partner.
Production experience with LLMs, including advanced prompt engineering, agent development and frameworks, evaluation frameworks, transcript analysis, MCP, and deployment at scale, with the technical depth to set engineering standards and review your team's work credibly.
Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python or TypeScript and experience building production applications.
A track record engaging senior technical stakeholders (CTOs, CPOs, and engineering leaders) and influencing technical architecture and partner product roadmaps.
Experience working in or running mixed pre-sales and hands-on engineering teams (for example, SA + FDE or SE + delivery).
The ability to navigate ambiguity and execute across domains with intellectual openness, finding simple solutions to complex problems.
A high-cooperation mindset for cross-organizational collaboration across Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Research, balancing competing priorities with integrity.
Exceptional communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders while maintaining a low ego and collaborative approach.
Passion for advancing safe, beneficial AI systems through creative technical applications.
Strong candidates may also have
Background at a hyperscaler, foundation model lab, or large ISV in a strategic-accounts or alliances technical role.
Experience with marketplace, embed/OEM, or co-sell motions.
Prior forward-deployed engineering leadership.
Experience leading technical teams through periods of rapid scale, balancing immediate execution with durable, long-term architectural and platform decisions.
Experience coaching engineers from purely technical roles into customer-facing, advisory work.
Executive briefing and public speaking presence.
Deadline to apply
None. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

About the role
Anthropic is seeking a member to join Financial Reporting team within Accounting. In this role, you will own some of the most important pieces of our external reporting: the consolidated statement of cash flows, subsidiary and other compliance-related reporting, and the peer benchmarking that keeps our disclosures clear and comparable.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who wants to shape how a financial reporting function works, not just run it. Our team builds with Claude every day, and you will help design the workflows and automation that make our reporting faster, more accurate, and more scalable. You will partner closely with Technical Accounting, Controllership, Tax, Legal, FP&A, Corporate Development, and our external auditors.
If you enjoy owning complex reporting end to end, have strong judgment on disclosure, and are excited to reinvent how financial reporting gets done with AI, we would love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities
Own the consolidated statement of cash flows end to end, including preparation, supporting schedules, classification analysis, non-cash disclosures, and review with our external auditors
Lead subsidiary and other compliance-related reporting, such as entity-level and special-purpose financial statements, lender and covenant reporting, and other regulatory or contractual reporting requirements
Lead the adoption of new accounting standards: impact assessment, data and system changes, disclosure drafting, controls, and review with our external auditors
Lead stock-based compensation reporting, including the expense and award-activity roll-forwards
Contribute to the preparation and review of periodic SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K) and related disclosures
Contribute to peer disclosure benchmarking, including frequent and proactive review of peer disclosures and assessment of Anthropic's disclosures in comparison to peers
Partner with valuation specialists, Technical Accounting, Tax, and Corporate Development on purchase accounting and post-close reporting for acquired entities
Identify opportunities to leverage Claude and automation tools to improve reporting processes, with a hands-on willingness to test and adopt new technologies as they emerge
Build and maintain Claude-powered reporting workflows (e.g., roll-forwards, tie-outs, disclosure drafting, benchmarking) and document them so the broader team can use and extend them
Design and maintain the process documentation and controls that support your areas, and serve as a primary point of contact for auditors on them

As such, we greatly value communication skills.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is seeking a Senior Manager, M&A Finance Integration to run the finance function's role in each transaction, from LOI through Day 1 readiness and post-close execution, and to own the program management of Anthropic's growing legal entity footprint.
This is a build-and-run opportunity. Reporting to the Director, M&A Finance Integration, you will be the day-to-day operator of the M&A Finance Integration program: you will scope and drive the finance integration plan for each deal, coordinate finance workstreams alongside Corporate Development, Legal, and People, and be the connective tissue between deal teams and the functions that execute. You will also own the end-to-end legal entity lifecycle (setup, migration, and wind-down) for acquired entities and newly formed subsidiaries, and turn what we learn from every deal and legal entity set up into a maintained playbook and template library.
The ideal candidate has operated in a similar function at a high-growth technology company, brings enough accounting fluency to know when a closing spreadsheet or entity plan looks wrong, and thrives on building rigorous, repeatable processes while deals are live.
Key responsibilities
Deal Integration Planning & Execution
Scope and own the finance integration plan for each transaction across every phase, from LOI and due diligence through signing, sign-to-close, and Day 90, spanning finance functions
Tailor the plan to the integration model (full integration vs. standalone subsidiary) and define each function's baseline activities and standalone-specific deltas
Ensure every function is engaged at the right phase, with clear owners, dependencies, and escalation paths
Run the integration operating rhythm: workstream check-ins, issue logs, risk registers, RACI matrices, decision logs, and status reporting to finance leadership
Negotiate deliverables and trade-offs directly with functional leads; escalate to the Director with a recommendation when priorities conflict
Day 1 Readiness & Post-Close Execution
Drive Finance Day 1 readiness: bank account control and signers, payroll cutover, AP/AR continuity, ERP entity, cost-center and project-code setup, chart-of-accounts mapping, and expense policy communication
Run the Day 1 checklist and 30/60/90-day follow-through, ensuring acquired entities are onboarded without disruption to the close cycle
Coordinate the closing spreadsheet, net working capital mechanics, and post-close true-up with Corporate Development, Legal and Technical Accounting
Serve as a primary finance point of contact for the target's finance team and Corporate Development's integration lead during transition
Scope, track, and manage external advisor engagements and unblock issues as they arise
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Act as a credible counterpart to Corporate Development, finance functional leads, and target finance leadership on integration substance
Communicate integration and entity status to leadership through clear dashboards and written briefings
Mentor team members and contractors as the function grows
Handle confidential deal information with discipline
Legal Entity Lifecycle Program Management
Build and run the end-to-end entity setup process: decision documentation, incorporation, tax registrations, banking, ERP entity creation, functional-currency assessment, payroll or employer-of-record bridge, and statutory / compliance calendar onboarding, with a named owner for each step across US and international entities
Own the entity wind-down process, including customer and vendor off-boarding, final payroll and employee transfers, account closure, intercompany settlement, and final statutory filings, in partnership with Legal, Tax, and the involved finance functions
Design and maintain a single entity tracker with per-entity, per-workstream implications and status, aligned with adjacent entity programs (e.g., infrastructure and special-purpose entities) so they share one backbone
Playbook, Templates & Infrastructure
Build and own the Legal Entity Playbook: a repeatable, end-to-end framework covering entity formation, migration, and wind-down for acquired entities and newly formed subsidiaries in the US and internationally
Own and maintain sections of the modular M&A Finance Integration Playbook: per-function deliverables by phase, standard operating procedures, and the template library
Lead post-deal retrospectives and drive the resulting changes into the playbook and templates
Identify and implement tooling and automation, including AI-assisted solutions, for recurring program work such as status synthesis, tracker updates, escalations and draft communications
Minimum qualifications
Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of at least two finance integration projects or entity set up projects, from planning through post-close execution, including project plan ownership and executive reporting
Working accounting fluency across the areas your stakeholders own: the close calendar, chart of accounts, intercompany, statutory reporting, purchase accounting fundamentals, and the finance implications of common deal structures (asset vs. stock, acquihire vs. strategic, full integration vs. standalone)
Strong program-management capability: comfortable scoping ambiguous work, owning multiple parallel workstreams, and managing to milestones without extensive oversight
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or equivalent) in an acquisition and migration context
Cross-functional credibility with Legal, Tax, People, Corporate Development, and Finance sub-functions, and the ability to drive outcomes across competing timelines and risk tolerances
Comfort operating under deal-environment time pressure and confidentiality, with sound judgment when processes are being defined in real time
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to distill complex operational issues into clear, decision-ready briefings
Preferred qualifications
10+ years in finance, accounting, or finance operations, with at least 3 years running cross-functional programs at a high-growth technology company, with a focus in M&A integration or legal entity programs
Have built or significantly contributed to a finance integration playbook, template library, or integration management office infrastructure from scratch
Bring international entity experience: new-jurisdiction setup, statutory audit and local GAAP obligations, employer-of-record bridges, transfer pricing and intercompany agreements
Have worked with standalone-subsidiary integration models, consolidation bridges, and equity-method investments
Be an active user of AI tools in their own workflow and excited to push program management toward automation
Hold a CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CA qualification
Be genuinely excited about AI safety and aligned with Anthropic's mission to build reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems

who can help operate, troubleshoot, and improve the systems and workflows behind our accounting and financial processes.
Position Summary
This is not a traditional accounting role, and we are not looking for a software engineer.
We are looking for a
systems-oriented problem solver
who is naturally good at understanding how things work, breaking complicated processes into logical steps, working with financial data, and figuring out what is happening when something doesn’t work as expected.
You will sit at the intersection of
Finance, Accounting, Data, and Technology
, helping operate and improve the automated workflows that support our financial infrastructure.
A significant portion of the role will involve working in
NetSuite
, alongside tools such as Google Sheets, SQL, internal data sources, integrations, and third-party platforms.
You do not need to be an expert programmer. You do need to be comfortable looking at an unfamiliar process, dataset, formula, query, or piece of logic and methodically figuring out how it works.
The ideal person has strong numerical intuition, exceptional attention to detail, and the curiosity to ask not only
“Is this number correct?”
but also
“Where did this number come from, how did it get here, and how could we make this process better?”
What You Will Do
Finance & Accounting Operations
Operate and maintain recurring accounting and finance workflows, including cash transaction categorization, journal entry preparation and uploads, reconciliations, and weekly/monthly reporting processes.
Work extensively within NetSuite to support accounting operations, investigate issues, manage imports, and maintain accurate financial information.
Manage the inputs and outputs of automated finance processes, including data validation, CSV preparation and uploads, exception handling, and transaction-level corrections.
Adapt established processes to accommodate one-off transactions, new business scenarios, and evolving Finance requirements.
Support weekly and monthly accounting close activities and maintain the automated workflows supporting those processes.
Systems, Data & Automation
Monitor automated financial data flows from source systems through accounting, forecasting, and reporting outputs.
Ensure the continued availability, completeness, and accuracy of transaction history, balances, forecasts, and other financial information used across the organization.
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot automated financial workflows across accounting systems, internal data sources, and third-party platforms.
Investigate issues across Google Sheets logic, SQL queries, CSV imports, integrations, NetSuite, and other financial systems.
Trace data through multiple systems to identify where errors or inconsistencies originate.
Independently resolve routine systems and data issues while identifying the source, scope, and appropriate escalation path for more complex problems.
Process Improvement & Problem Solving
Break complex financial processes into clear, logical steps and identify opportunities to simplify or automate them.
Understand existing formulas, queries, scripts, integrations, and workflows well enough to troubleshoot and improve them.
Identify repetitive manual processes that could be standardized, automated, or eliminated.
Support the implementation of new products, systems, and business processes as they interact with Accounting and Finance.
Create ad-hoc reporting, tools, and analyses to answer new business questions.
Partner across Finance, Accounting, Product, Engineering, Data, and other teams to translate business requirements into practical solutions.
Document processes and workflows so that systems remain understandable, scalable, and maintainable as the company grows.
What We Are Looking For
Strong
systems thinking
— you naturally break problems into inputs, rules, dependencies, outputs, and exceptions.
Strong
numerical intuition
and an ability to recognize when financial data does not make sense.
Comfort working with large datasets and identifying patterns, anomalies, and inconsistencies.
Ability to approach ambiguous problems with limited context and determine what questions need to be answered first.
Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the broader process or business objective.
Comfort learning unfamiliar systems, tools, formulas, and technical concepts independently.
Ability to read and reason through existing formulas, queries, or code even if you would not consider yourself a developer.
Ability to troubleshoot systematically rather than relying on trial and error.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical or financial processes in straightforward terms.
Tools & Technical Experience
Experience with some combination of the following is valuable:
NetSuite
or another ERP/accounting platform
Advanced
Google Sheets or Excel
SQL
and relational data
Large structured datasets
Financial reporting and reconciliation
APIs, integrations, or third-party data connectors
Automated workflows or low-code automation tools
Financial or accounting data structures
Deep expertise in every tool is
not required
. We care more about your ability to understand unfamiliar systems, reason through problems, and learn quickly than expertise in a particular programming language.
Salary:
$80,000 - $90,000 DOE + Benefits

About the team
The Internal Controls team plays a critical role in adhering to controls frameworks and creating space for risk mitigation and oversight. We want to ensure that Wealthsimple maintains a secure operational environment by implementing, monitoring and testing controls designed to safeguard assets, keep our reporting accurate, and make our processes more efficient.
About the role
We are looking to expand our team with a Manager, Internal Controls to help build and run our internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) program. This role will be instrumental in ensuring Wealthsimple meets its regulatory obligations while building a scalable compliance function.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Internal Controls, the successful candidate will build and shape internal controls around the processes we already have and build the control framework for new products as we launch them. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role — you'll own the control framework and documentation, direct testing, and work with the control owners across Finance, Operations and Engineering who run the controls, so that they are designed, implemented and operating effectively.
What you’ll do
- Be a strong voice within the Finance team and across Wealthsimple by proactively shaping effective and efficient controls around existing processes as well as designing an effective control framework for new products;
- Work alongside our external advisors to build out the ICFR program, then own the process narratives, RCMs, flowcharts and test procedures and keep them current;
- Plan and direct walkthroughs and testing against the annual ICFR plan, whether testing is done in house or by a co-source firm, and support control owners as they remediate deficiencies;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, coordinating evidence requests, walkthroughs, and finding remediation. Coordinate testing activities to ensure deadlines are met with high quality outputs for:
- Financial reporting audits for all entities;
- SOC 1 audits;
- Other audits requiring control work as they arise;
- Proactively work with internal stakeholders to determine the impact of business decisions on the financial processes, operations and engineering; and
- Work with technology to develop best-in-class controls documentation and solutions including AI-enabled tooling.
Skills you bring
- 5+ years in internal controls or audit, with hands-on ICFR experience under SOX or CSOX, working knowledge of COSO 2013, and a CPA designation or equivalent;
- Experience working in SOX or CSOX control environment in a public company
- Hands-on experience using technology — including AI tools — to document, test, or automate controls
Nice to have
- Experience building an ICFR program, or substantially expanding one
- Experience in financial services, ideally brokerage, banking or payments
- Experience supporting SOC 1 Type 2 audit
- Experience working with Optro (formerly AuditBoard)
- Exposure to a high-growth fintech or technology company
Who you are
- You bring people along — you can explain why a strong control environment matters and build/promote awareness across the organization
- You’re passionate about technology, specifically fintech
- You’re naturally curious: if something seems off, you want to figure out what’s going on
- You communicate clearly and are able to articulate complex ideas succinctly and convincingly
- You're detail-oriented and rigorous, you pay close attention to details and able to thoroughly review your own work and others

About the role
Anthropic's consulting and systems integration partners now sell and deliver Claude work at growing volume, and selling alongside partners is working. What matters next is delivery: whether the partner completes the work, whether the customer's Claude usage grows and holds, and whether the outcome is good enough that the customer asks for that partner again.
The Partner Success Lead owns that outcome. You will hold a book of in-flight customer engagements across a set of managed partners in EMEA. From the day our Partner Delivery program matches a customer engagement to a partner in your book, you own it to a completed outcome: the work finishes on scope, the customer's Claude usage grows, and a stalled engagement gets diagnosed and unblocked before the customer disengages. You wake up every day on one question: what is each partner in my book doing, and is the work getting done.
Key responsibilities
Own every customer engagement in your book from partner match to completed outcome. Know the state of each one every week: scope, timeline, blockers, and the customer's Claude usage trend.
Run the weekly delivery review across your book, and bring stalled or at-risk engagements to the weekly at-risk account review with a diagnosis, an owner, and a specific ask rather than a status list.
Unblocking. Partner capacity, scope creep, customer readiness, product questions, deal-registration conflicts, and customer dissatisfaction with partner work: get each issue to the right internal team and stay on it through resolution.
Own delivery quality and consumption across your book. Track engagements completed on time, time from match to completion, delivered consumption and weekly active use on the customer accounts your partners serve, and the accounts trending toward at-risk.
Build senior relationships with each managed partner's practice and delivery leadership. Together with the Partner Account Manager and other Anthropic counterparts, establish the executive-level trust that lets you ask a partner to restaff, escalate, or invest — and be taken seriously — when an engagement needs it.
Build each partner's Claude practice as the compounding work: certified bench depth, one repeatable offering in a chosen industry lane, and a published customer story from each completed engagement, so the next engagement needs less from you.
Turn what works into methodology. Convert the moves you prove in your book into named, reusable best practices — engagement review packs, unblocking plays, practice-building guides — written clearly enough to be shared at scale across partners, the Partner Success team, and the contract delivery team running the same loop.
Run the quarterly practice review with each managed partner's alliance and delivery leads: joint goals on completed customer engagements, customer adoption, certified practitioners, references, and industry positioning.
Present and persuade across audiences. Deliver partner executive briefings, practitioner enablement sessions, and internal reviews with equal command — this role is regularly the voice of Partner Success in front of a partner's leadership, a delivery team, a customer, or Anthropic's own leadership.
Steward funding requests from partners in your book. Recommend for or against co-investment and program funding requests against a stated outcome, and reconcile against milestones. The bar is outcomes, not consultant hours.
Work the handoffs cleanly: from Partner Sales when a partner deal closes, and from the Partner Delivery program when an engagement is matched to a partner in your book. Coordinate with the Partner Account Manager on any strategic partner that has one, with Customer Success Managers on customer-side account health, and with Anthropic's direct sales field on joint accounts.
Instrument your book and know its numbers: engagements in flight and completed, stall rate and days to unblock, delivered consumption per partner, certified practitioner counts, and partner health trajectory.
Run your book Claude-first. Telemetry drafts the diagnosis; you validate it and act. Claude drafts your review packs, status notes, and escalation briefs; you own the judgment, the exceptions, and the unblocking. Feed what you see in the field back into the packages, playbooks, tier rules, and health rubric the team runs on.
Minimum qualifications
Experience owning a high-volume book of concurrent customer engagements, projects, or accounts (roughly 10 to 30 at a time) to completed outcomes, in a partner success, customer success, delivery management, or technical account management role.
Ability and appetite to build structure, clarity, and programmatic motions out of in-flight work, while delivering engagement by engagement. You have written something down — a review format, a checklist, a play — that others ran without you, and you want to do more of that; growing that into the operating playbook a wider team runs is the senior end of this role, not the entry bar. This role scales by what you write down, not by added hours.
Track record of a number tied to completed work and customer behavior (on-time delivery, adoption, retention, consumption, expansion) rather than contract signature, and an operating rhythm you built to hit it.
Judgment on delivery quality: you can review a partner's engagement plan or scope and tell whether it will finish on time and produce usage, and you ask the follow-up question that surfaces the real risk.
Escalation and unblocking judgment across a matrix (partner, customer, direct sales, customer success, product): you know which stall belongs to whom, you get help fast, and you stay engaged to resolution.
A convincing speaker and presenter to all kinds of audiences: partner executives, delivery practitioners, customers, and internal leadership. You can carry a quarterly practice review, an enablement session, and an executive escalation in the same week and land each one.
Deep understanding of how customer success works in a usage-based business; you have held a number tied to customer behavior and can read a consumption trend and act on it.
Enough technical fluency to be credible in a delivery review. You do not need to write code, but you can follow a partner architect's walkthrough of a real Claude engagement and ask the substantive second question.
Active daily use of Claude or another large language model as part of how you work: preparing reviews, drafting account plans, and analyzing your book. We will ask you to walk us through a recent deliverable.
Preferred qualifications
5 to 8 years working with consulting and systems integration partners, or in delivery-facing customer success at a software company, cloud platform, or partner-led business.
Direct experience with systems integrators (global firms such as Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, or Wipro, or regional and boutique firms) and an understanding of how their delivery practices are staffed and run.
Experience running at-risk or red account reviews and turning stalled work around.
Experience anchoring a surge team: setting the playbook and the review pack that a group of contract or offshore delivery coordinators ran, and holding the quality bar across them.
Depth in a specific industry vertical (financial services, healthcare, public sector, retail, or manufacturing) where you have carried a book of partners or customers.
Experience stewarding co-investment funding or market development funding against specific outcomes, with formed opinions about what works and what does not.
Experience running quarterly business reviews with consulting firm practice leads, and a sense of what makes them productive rather than ceremonial.
Experience on a new team where the operating model was being written while you ran the book, and you shipped both.

About the Role
As an engineer on this team, you'll sit at the intersection of IT and facilities. You'll build the power models, availability models, topology and load management requirements that operate more efficiently against our physical envelope. Your work will directly shape which sites we lease, what SLAs we sign, how far we oversubscribe, and where workloads are placed.
What You'll Do
Topology and load management.
Own the power and cooling topology of our fleet as a living dataset, validate it and its telemetry against how the buildings really behave, and define how load management behaves under failure across chips and capacity providers, from requirements through commissioning and incident support.
Reliability modeling.
Build and audit availability models of data center electrical and mechanical systems, define Cloud availability zones and failure domains, from a single site to the whole fleet.
Power modeling and load forecasting.
Build models of power draw from chip to rack to facility, by workload and hardware generation, and use them to set capacity planning targets, design envelope, and load forecasting.
Partner diligence.
Work with data center developers, operators, cloud providers and chip vendors to drive design improvements and hold them to SLA-grade performance, with technical diligence on their architectures, reliability studies, rack power specifications and operator interfaces.
What We're Looking For
Deep knowledge of data center power distribution and cooling architectures, redundancy schemes, and how they interact with IT load profiles.
Depth in at least one of: reliability engineering, power modeling and energy scheduling, or load management and controls (telemetry, IT/OT interfaces, load transfer and shedding systems).
Familiarity with SCADA/BMS/EPMS, telemetry pipelines, and control systems. Experience with software that bridges IT and OT.
Exposure to accelerator deployments and their power management interfaces, or to capacity overallocation in large compute fleets, strongly preferred.
Ability to translate between infrastructure engineering, software teams, legal and commercial teams, and external partners.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Power Systems, Reliability Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, facility engineering, or reliability engineering
Demonstrated experience with data center power distribution and cooling system architectures, and infrastructure failure mode management
Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following:
Building quantitative reliability or availability models (Monte Carlo, fault tree, reliability block diagram, or FMEA)
Building power, energy or capacity models and forecasts from measured data
Building, testing or operating software-based power management, load shedding, or control systems
Track record of cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, and facilities teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in more than one of the three focus areas above
Experience with accelerator-class deployments, rack power architectures, and their power management interfaces
Experience with integrated systems testing and commissioning (L4/L5), or writing sequences of operation
Experience with SLA development, availability commitments, or service credit frameworks in leases or cloud contracts
Experience with energy storage, microgrid integration, demand response, or behind-the-meter generation
Exposure to ML or optimization techniques applied to infrastructure or energy systems
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.

Your Role:
The Senior Manager, Technical Excellence & Escalations leads the two teams that sit between Technical Support and the rest of the business: the global Technical Excellence team, staffed by our Technical Leads, and the global Escalations Engineering team.
Both produce Tenable's earliest and clearest signal about product supportability and customer risk. Both have historically produced that signal faster than the organization could act on it. This role exists to close that gap.
This is not a queue-management job. The Senior Manager is accountable for two outcomes: turning Technical Lead expertise and escalation findings into tracked change with Product and Engineering, and running one escalations practice that behaves identically in AMER, EMEA, and APJ.
The role sits within Operations & Scale and works in close partnership with the Sr. Director, who sets overall strategy and carries the executive narrative. The Senior Manager owns the operating model, the day-to-day practice, and the working-level relationships with Product and Engineering that make change actually happen. They lead senior individual contributors who are already force multipliers — which makes this a job about influence and orchestration, not direction.
Who You Are:
An orchestrator, not a bottleneck.
You create the conditions for senior experts to influence the organization instead of routing their work through yourself.
Technically credible.
You have the depth to earn respect from Principal-level engineers and to challenge an Engineering assessment that doesn't hold up.
A clear communicator under pressure.
You can hold a room containing both a frustrated customer and an Engineering lead, and translate technical detail into business consequence.
A systems thinker.
You are drawn to the pattern behind the escalation. You would rather fix the class of problem than win the individual case.
Comfortable influencing without authority.
Much of what this role must accomplish depends on teams you don't own.
Effective remotely.
You build trust and hold a team together without relying on being in the room, and you communicate in writing well enough that distance isn't a handicap.
A developer of senior talent.
You are energized by growing people who are already very good, and you give direct feedback.
Your Opportunity:
Technical Excellence Team
Run the operating model and product coverage plan for the global Technical Excellence team — every strategic product has clear lead ownership, defined authority, and no coverage gaps across theaters.
Set the team's working agenda: what leads work on, what they own, and how their time splits between reactive escalation support and proactive supportability work.
Turn Technical Lead findings — defect patterns, supportability gaps, documentation failures, recurring friction — into one prioritized, evidence-backed agenda, not a stream of individual product complaints.
Position Technical Leads as credible partners in Product and Engineering forums, with the data, framing, and support they need to influence rather than escalate.
Contribute to the Technical Lead career path with the Education & Enablement Manager, and apply it consistently — progression from Technical Lead through Senior and Principal, and the competencies that separate each grade.
Global Escalations Practice
Own the global escalations practice day to day: process design, entry and exit criteria, severity definitions, roles, communication standards, and adherence.
Drive it to a single global standard. One model, consistently applied and measured across all theaters, with regional variance only where legally or operationally required.
Operate and enforce the working agreement with Product Engineering — SLA adherence for escalated defects, prioritization criteria, update cadence, and follow-through on resolution commitments. Escalate structural breakdowns to the Sr. Director.
Own the quality of post-escalation output. Every RCA and post-incident report produces a tracked action, not a filed document.
Build the prevention agenda: analyze root cause patterns and drive the upstream product, process, tooling, or enablement changes that reduce escalation volume and re-escalation rate.
Act as the Technical Support point of contact for high-severity customer situations — providing assurance and coordination without displacing the assigned Escalations Engineer.
Driving Change Across the Organization
Represent Technical Support in roadmap, release readiness, and quality forums at the Product Management and Engineering Manager level, making the supportability and escalation-risk case with data.
Run the working-level feedback loop into Product and Engineering: defined cadence, shared prioritization, visible tracking from support signal to shipped change.
Assemble the evidence behind supportability investment — ticket volume, escalation cost, re-escalation overhead — and partner with the Sr. Director to convert it into a business case that earns engineering capacity.
Partner with Engineering on release quality gates so Technical Support has meaningful input before GA, not remediation duty after it.
Represent both teams in cross-functional work with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and Professional Services where escalation or account risk is in scope.
Produce the regular supportability and escalation readout for the Sr. Director: narrative, trend, and recommendation — not raw metrics. Present directly to senior leadership as requested.
Work with the Operations Manager to instrument escalation and Technical Lead activity in TSO reporting, so the teams' signal is visible without manual pulls.
Leadership & People Development
Lead and develop a senior, highly autonomous, globally distributed team, including the Principal Technical Lead as a technical partner and strategic extension of the function.
Operate as a player-coach: hold the operating cadence and coach the team, and step personally into a live critical escalation or a difficult Engineering conversation when it matters.
Build succession depth in both teams and eliminate single-person dependency on strategic products and accounts.
Partner with the Education & Enablement Manager — a peer in the same function — to close skill gaps in both populations and feed field learnings into broader Technical Support enablement and certification.
Set goals, performance expectations, and measurement for both teams in line with global Technical Support objectives.
Drive AI adoption within Technical Lead and Escalations workflows under the Support AI governance framework, acting as the proving ground for capability the wider TSO will inherit.
What You'll Need:
8+ years in Technical Support, Escalation Management, or customer-facing engineering in enterprise software, with recent focus on security or vulnerability management.
3+ years managing technical teams — ideally senior individual contributors, technical leads, or escalation engineers. Experience managing remote and globally distributed teams strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience running an escalation practice or program, including process design and cross-functional coordination.
Demonstrated ability to influence product and engineering priorities using support and escalation data.
Experience operating within Support–Engineering agreements, including SLA adherence for defect resolution.
Comfort with support metrics and the analysis behind them — escalation volume, re-escalation rate, time-to-resolution, ticket volume reduction — and the ability to build the evidence case for investment.
Strong understanding of Tenable's product portfolio and security best practices, or the demonstrated ability to reach it quickly.
Technical foundation across networking, authentication, operating systems, and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) sufficient to lead technical discussions credibly.
Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable with senior stakeholders and with customers at any level.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Able to work in a hybrid/on-site capacity at our office in Columbia MD or Boston MA.
Available to provide leadership coverage for critical escalations outside standard business hours as needed, and to work across AMER, EMEA, and APJ time zones to support globally distributed teams.
Occasional travel as required for team, customer, and cross-functional engagements.
Flexibility to perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.
And Ideally:
Cybersecurity or adjacent enterprise security SaaS experience.
Prior time as a Technical Lead, Principal Engineer, or Escalations Engineer — credibility earned in the seat.
Product Management or program management exposure.
Familiarity with AI-assisted support workflows and their governance.
Experience supporting FedRAMP or other regulated environments.
