About the role
We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer who knows the Atlassian ecosystem and wants to help shape how enterprises protect and manage it. In this senior individual-contributor role, you will own Revyz technical engagements from discovery through the buying decision, working directly with customers, Atlassian Solution Partners, and our product and engineering teams. You will have room to design the approach, build reusable tools for the team, and turn customer insight into product improvements. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on Atlassian expertise with commercial impact and a visible role in the partner community.
What You'll Do:
Own enterprise customer outcomes
Partner with sales and channel teams to understand how customers use Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence, who administers them, and what is at stake when data is lost or configurations change. Define decision criteria and qualify technical fit early.
Lead tailored demonstrations, architecture discussions, and executive presentations around real Atlassian use cases: recovering a deleted work item or page, managing configuration changes, and protecting business-critical workflows. Put your Atlassian expertise to work
Develop deep expertise in Revyz and the relevant Spin.AI products while expanding your knowledge of enterprise SaaS security. Explain product capabilities, limitations, and competitive tradeoffs accurately, and distinguish supported functionality from roadmap items.
Design and validate solutions around Atlassian backup and recovery, configuration management, permissions, retention, and data residency. Help administrators understand dependencies and recovery needs across Jira projects, Jira Service Management workflows, and Confluence spaces.
Work hands-on in Jira and Confluence Cloud customer and demo environments to configure evaluations, investigate permissions and configuration issues, and validate recovery scenarios. Partner with engineering when deeper integration or technical investigation is needed.
Build your profile in the Atlassian ecosystem
Become a trusted advisor to Atlassian administrators, platform owners, enterprise architects, and security leaders. Build relationships with the people responsible for business-critical environments and help them make decisions they can defend to senior leadership.
Work alongside Atlassian Solution Partners and consultants on joint customer engagements. Lead technical workshops and demonstrations, create reusable enablement materials, and help partners bring Revyz into their consulting and managed services offerings. Your expertise will help a wider network of teams succeed.
Provide a clear handoff to customer success and support, documenting requirements, success criteria, and open issues. Stay close to strategic customers and partners as their Atlassian environments evolve, identifying opportunities to solve their next challenge.
Shape the product and the practice
Follow Atlassian Cloud developments, Marketplace apps, and partner and community feedback. Use that ecosystem perspective to inform customer conversations and competitive positioning, recommend product enhancements and new features, and improve our technical sales approach.
Work directly with product and engineering to turn customer feedback into prioritized use cases. Help shape how we demonstrate, evaluate, and explain Revyz, with the opportunity to see your ideas become product improvements and resources used across the partner network.
What you bring:
7+ years in solutions engineering, sales engineering, solution architecture, Atlassian consulting, or comparable customer-facing technical roles, including substantial experience leading complex enterprise evaluations or solution engagements through a buying decision.
Hands-on experience administering or designing solutions for Jira and Confluence Cloud, including Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, configuration dependencies, and Confluence spaces and access controls. Familiarity with Jira Service Management and Assets is a plus.
Strong knowledge of SaaS data protection and cloud security, including backup and recovery, identity and access management, encryption, retention, and data residency. Ability to discuss recovery point and recovery time objectives with technical and business stakeholders.
Experience selling, implementing, or supporting cybersecurity, data protection, or backup and recovery solutions is strongly preferred. Relevant experience includes SaaS backup, ransomware resilience, recovery testing, security evaluations, or helping customers translate risk and compliance needs into practical protection plans.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex customer requirements into practical solution designs and measurable evaluation plans, explain tradeoffs clearly, and guide administrators and business stakeholders to a decision.
Sound commercial judgment and the ability to manage multiple complex opportunities independently, prioritize effectively, and coordinate sales, product, engineering, and partner stakeholders.
Significant experience in the Atlassian ecosystem, whether at a Solution Partner, Marketplace app vendor, or an enterprise Atlassian team. Understand how customers select and evaluate Marketplace apps and how partners support implementation, adoption, and ongoing services. Partner enablement experience and Atlassian certifications are strong pluses.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Benefits:
Unlimited PTO
Hybrid Office Model
Paid Holidays
Premium health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 100% covered by the company
401(k)
Employee Wellness Program
A visible role with ownership of customer engagements, direct influence on product priorities, and opportunities to build your reputation and relationships across the Atlassian ecosystem
What success looks like:
Customers complete evaluations with clear evidence against agreed technical and business success criteria.
Atlassian Solution Partners can confidently demonstrate, evaluate, and recommend Revyz using the technical resources you help build.
Technical risks are surfaced early, and customer commitments reflect validated product capabilities.
Your customer and partner insights inform product priorities, and delivery teams receive clear, actionable handoffs.

What We Look For In You
7+ years of relevant investigative or analytical experience
, with meaningful professional experience specifically conducting

Demonstrated hands-on expertise independently conducting
complex blockchain tracing investigations
, rather than solely reviewing blockchain alerts or commercial risk scores.
Advanced proficiency with one or more blockchain intelligence platforms such as

.
Strong understanding of how blockchain intelligence platforms derive attribution, clustering, exposure, and risk information—and the
limitations associated with those methodologies
.
Demonstrated understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including
wallets and addresses, transactions, UTXO and account-based models, tokens, smart contracts, block explorers, transaction fees, confirmations, and blockchain-specific transactional structures
.
Strong understanding of digital-asset ecosystems including
centralized exchanges, self-hosted wallets,
DeFi
, DEXs, stablecoins, cross-chain bridges, mixers, privacy-enhancing mechanisms, and other relevant technologies
.
Demonstrated ability to trace assets across
multiple chains, protocols, and intermediaries
and recognize when technical limitations prevent definitive continuity or attribution.

Experience with
OSINT, digital forensics, enterprise logs, security telemetry, or identity and access-management information

Relevant blockchain-specific training or certifications, including certifications associated with
Chainalysis
, TRM Labs, or comparable blockchain-analysis platforms
.
Professional certifications such as
CFE, CFCS, CAMS, GIAC, or comparable investigative,
fraud
, financial-crime, cybersecurity, or intelligence credentials
.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role requires significantly more than knowing how to enter an address into a blockchain analytics platform.
The successful candidate should be able to receive a complex transaction, wallet, allegation, or investigative question and independently determine
how to trace the activity, which chains and protocols are involved, what the available data establishes, what additional information is needed, what
attribution
can reasonably be made, and where the technical or evidentiary limitations prevent a definitive conclusion
.
The individual should be able to move seamlessly between
on-chain and off-chain evidence
, recognizing that a blockchain transaction may establish movement of assets without necessarily establishing the identity, knowledge, intent, or conduct of the person behind a wallet.
They should also be capable of converting a highly technical blockchain investigation into a concise and defensible explanation that an investigator, attorney, executive, regulator, or law-enforcement partner can understand and act upon.
At the same time, this person must be sufficiently versatile to apply the same investigative discipline to
internal
fraud
, insider risk, enterprise data, third-party misconduct, and protective-intelligence matters
when required.
The hierarchy is much clearer this way:
blockchain investigations are the specialized core competency;
fraud
/investigative intelligence is the broader mission; enterprise analytics and PST support are complementary capabilities.
That should materially improve the candidate pool versus a title that makes blockchain expertise appear interchangeable with general data analytics.

Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
As an Account Executive working remotely in the UK and focused on the UK region, you manage target-accounts and an existing book of business that has companies with 501 - 2,500 employees based in the United Kingdom. Your primary focus is hunting new business opportunities, building sales pipeline, and driving growth within the Commercial sector. You are also responsible for upselling into the existing account base, leveraging our Extended Access Management Identity.
How we’re using AI today
Across GTM, we’re transforming the way we work with AI. We expect every seller, CSM, and team member to become a power user, using it daily to work smarter and move faster. AI is already embedded in how we operate – from real-time coaching that sharpens how we sell and interact with customers, to surfacing insights that help us anticipate needs – creating more time for meaningful customer engagement. If you’re excited to reshape how you think, make decisions, and drive growth with AI, you’ll feel right at home here.
Expectations of this role
This is a hybrid role with a regular travel component. You will be expected to work from 1Password’s London office 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work from the office up to 5 days per week based on business needs.
You will also regularly engage in customer-facing activities, including in-person meetings, events, and other travel required to effectively support your territory. Travel within your assigned territory, and occasionally outside of it, will be a part of your job, and you are responsible for managing your schedule in a way that works for the company and you.
Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.
What we're looking for:
- 4+ years of SaaS sales experience, preferably in security with a focus on Commercial accounts OR top performance in SMB and ready to step up.
- Demonstrated success in owning and growing a geographical territory or country within EMEA.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs, including consistent experience closing deals with $50k+ ARR and the ability to clearly articulate deal strategy, execution, and outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in upselling & cross-selling to both new customers and across a book of business, and in uncovering customer pain points beyond what's initially shared.
- Proven track record of leveraging executive stakeholders throughout deal cycles, effectively multi-threading opportunities, and securing in-person meetings with key decision-makers.
- Experience conducting regular in-person customer engagement multiple times per month, with a willingness and ability to travel within your region for client meetings and industry events.
- Proficient skills in:
- Outbound prospecting, pipeline building, strategic account planning, value-based selling, and territory management, with meticulous operating rigor in pipeline management, forecasting, and pacing to target.
- Business acumen, relationship building, solution selling, negotiation, & presenting to C-Suite.

- Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex cybersecurity concepts, particularly in Identity and Access Management.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and committed to achieving targets while thriving in a remote and fast-paced environment where products and value propositions evolve rapidly, including comfort selling against future vision while products are still in development.
- Demonstrated success managing high workloads and competing priorities without sacrificing quality of execution.
- A proven team player, eager to collaborate and achieve shared goals rather than working in isolation.
- Curious and coachable, with a proven ability to apply feedback, adapt, and continuously improve.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with channel resellers (enabling, account mapping, relationship building).
- Experience with the MEDDPPICC sales methodology or other rigorous qualification frameworks preferred.
- Preferred: Proficiency with Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, LinkedIn Sales Navigator & Outreach.
- Willingness to travel within your region for client meetings and industry events.
What you can expect:
- Own Your Territory: Manage and grow your designated territory in the UK region, focusing on acquiring new Commercial clients and expanding existing accounts.
- Manage Pipeline: Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, inbound leads, cold calling, and networking, utilizing our formalized sales process (MEDPICC preferred).

- Maintaining a high volume of outbound activity, including calls, emails, and meetings.

- Drive Organic Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell 1Password’s solutions within existing accounts, leveraging your understanding of Extended Access Management.

- Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
- Build collaborative relationships with internal teams (e.g. BDR, Solutions, Channels, Onboarding, Customer Success) to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and drive satisfaction, optimize client engagement, and identify growth opportunities.
- Cultivate multi-threaded relationships within client organizations to enhance overall account health and long-term success.
- Strategically leverage Partner, Alliance, and MSP relationships to create and close opportunities.
- Focus on Solution Selling:

We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.

1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $500M in ARR and we’re continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing.
About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.
If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
As an Account Executive, you manage a territory that includes target-accounts and an existing book of business with companies up to 1,000 employees. Your primary focus is hunting new business opportunities, building sales pipeline, and driving growth within the SMB sector. You are also responsible for upselling into the existing account base, leveraging our Extended Access Management platform. You will own a specific geographical region or country within the EMEA market.
This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to work from 1Password's London office 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work from the office up to 5 days based on business needs.
Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years of SaaS sales experience, preferably in security with a focus on SMB or Mid Market accounts OR a top performing BDR with outbound experience and success ready to step up.
- Fluent in German; written and spoken
- Experience owning a geographical territory or country within EMEA.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs.
- Experience upselling & cross-selling to both new customers and across a book of business
- Solid skills in:
- Prospecting, pipeline building, account planning, value-based selling, and territory management, with effective operating rigor in pipeline management, forecasting, and pacing to target
- Business acumen, solution selling, negotiation, & presenting to company decision makers/stakeholders
- Written and verbal communication skills across email and communication tools such as Slack, and Zoom, with the ability to make technical concepts accessible to non-technical parties.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex cybersecurity concepts, particularly in Identity and Access Management.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and committed to achieving targets while thriving in a remote environment.
- A proven team player, eager to collaborate and achieve shared goals rather than working in isolation.
- Curious and coachable, with a proven ability to apply feedback, adapt, and continuously improve.
- Preferred: Proficiency with Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, Linkedin Sales Navigator & Outreach
- Willingness to travel within your region for client meetings and industry events.
What you can expect:
- Own Your Territory: Manage and grow your designated geographical region or country within EMEA, focusing on acquiring new SMB clients and expanding existing accounts.
- Manage Pipeline: Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, inbound leads, cold calling, and networking, utilizing our formalized sales process, MEDDPPICC.
- Drive New Business Growth: Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs by:
- Consistently meeting or exceeding monthly/quarterly sales quotas.
- Maintaining a high level of outbound activity, including calls, emails, and meetings.
- Developing and closing new business opportunities within your territory.
- Drive Organic Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell 1Password solutions within existing accounts, leveraging your understanding of Extended Access Management.
- Engage the Industry: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent 1Password, build brand presence, and network with potential customers
- Stay Informed: Stay up to date on cybersecurity trends and developments, particularly in Identity and Access Management, to effectively position 1Password solutions and communicate their value to prospects.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
- Build collaborative relationships with internal teams (e.g. BDR, Solutions, Channels, Onboarding, Customer Success) to optimize client engagement and identify growth opportunities.
- Engage in multi-threaded relationships within client organizations to enhance overall account health.
- Focus on Solution Selling:
- Implement selling strategies to align our solutions with client needs and objectives.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of client pain points and position our offerings as strategic solutions.
- Present and Negotiate:
- Confidently present to company decision makers/stakeholders, articulating the value proposition of our products and services.
- Create mutual action plans to align the sales team and prospects on responsibilities, steps and timelines for closing deals.
- Utilize effective negotiation skills to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.

Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.

Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
As a Commercial (Mid-Market) Account Executive, you will own a focused territory of strategic target accounts and existing customers with 500-2,500 employees, with an emphasis on Fortune 1000 and high growth organizations. Your mandate is to create new executive relationships, build qualified pipeline, win complex, six-figure, multi-product, platform opportunities, and expand 1Password’s strategic footprint across an existing book of business.
This is not a transactional or single-product sales role. You will lead an enterprise-wide security conversation, starting with a customer’s most urgent problem and building the strategic case for Unified Access across humans, AI agents, and machines. You will engage and multi-thread with CISOs, CIOs, IT and security leaders, IAM teams, DevOps and platform teams, engineering leaders, security architects, finance, procurement, and other executive stakeholders.

What we're looking for:
• 4+ years of closing experience in commercial, mid-market, or enterprise sales, including experience selling to organizations with 500+ employees.
- A consistent track record of exceeding annual quotas in the range of $1 million or more and closing complex, multi-product opportunities.
- Experience selling enterprise platforms or integrated solutions rather than only transactional or stand-alone products.
- Experience creating pipeline through account planning, territory prioritization, outbound prospecting, and consistent follow-up, with the persistence to build new opportunities.
- The ability to engage security, identity, information technology, DevOps, platform engineering, and executive stakeholders, connecting technical priorities to clear business outcomes.
- Strong account planning, opportunity management, forecasting, negotiation, and executive communication skills, with a track record of winning new customers and expanding existing relationships.
- Preferred: Experience with cybersecurity, identity and access management, privileged access, cloud security, endpoint security, developer security, software as a service (SaaS) governance, or related technologies; experience selling to technology companies is also valuable.
Bonus points for:
- You lead with curiosity and strong discovery, uncovering the broader security and business problem rather than stopping at the initial product request.
- You create a compelling platform narrative while keeping the customer’s priorities, maturity, and path to value at the center.
- You combine strategic thinking with operating rigor; your account plans, pipeline, forecasts, and close plans are current, specific, and dependable.
- You are resilient, accountable, collaborative, and motivated by ambitious targets and complex opportunities.
- You hunt daily for new opportunities and consistently hit pipeline generation targets.
- You leverage AI daily to expedite your administrative work and identify strategic opportunities across your book.
- You are coachable, apply feedback quickly, and continuously improve your craft.
- You thrive in a remote, field-based environment and prioritize meaningful in-person customer engagement.
What you can expect:
• Develop and execute account and territory plans for a focused portfolio of high-value prospects and customers.
• Build relationships with executive and technical stakeholders, including Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), Chief Information Officers (CIOs), identity leaders, security architects, and engineering teams.
• Create qualified pipeline by identifying whitespace, competitive displacement opportunities, compelling events, and new use cases across identity security, AI adoption, SaaS governance, developer workflows, and device security.
• Lead consultative sales conversations that connect an immediate customer need to a broader Unified Access strategy spanning people, AI agents, and machines.
• Orchestrate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving security, information technology, DevOps, engineering, finance, legal, procurement, and executive sponsors.
• Structure and negotiate multi-year, multi-product agreements while maintaining accurate opportunity data, forecasts, mutual action plans, and close plans.
• Partner with Business Development Representatives, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, channels, alliances, product, marketing, legal, and deal teams to win new customers and expand existing relationships through meaningful customer engagement.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Data Center Security Engineering (DCSE) secures Anthropic's data center footprint; this role covers how the sites are designed and built to be secure. Much of that footprint is designed and built with partners, so a site's security is decided early: in what Anthropic hands the people who build it, and in how rigorously the delivered systems are tested against it.
You'll design and specify the physical security systems for a site: perimeter and vehicle barriers, intrusion detection, video, security lighting, and the site penetrations and utility entry points that bypass them. Design firms and integrators produce the site drawings and install; you specify, review, and verify. You'll write the performance requirement and verification method behind each control, review every site design against them at each stage with redlines a design team can act on, test in the field that what was built performs as specified, and re-verify post-acceptance changes.
This is a foundational role. You'll own Anthropic's physical security reference design package (typical details, reference drawings, schedules, and test procedures) in the form partners build from, and keep it current against each site's threat basis and the sites actually being built. You'll set the technical position for a site and decide what applies where; where a requirement can't be met as written, you'll engineer the compensating control and document the deviation. You'll work with the rest of DCSE, with Anthropic's design, construction, and real estate counterparts, and directly with the vendors who build to the package. We use Claude throughout our engineering workflow and expect you to as well.
The same seat covers the team's security operations control rooms. You'll set their design and operational requirements and accept delivered systems against them, working day to day alongside the team's platform engineers, who own the software and compute that run in them.
This role involves regular travel to data center sites. These are critical services, and this role participates in an on-call rotation for them.
Key responsibilities
Produce a vendor-ready design package
for perimeter barriers and hostile vehicle mitigation, intrusion detection and its zoning, video coverage, security lighting matched to camera performance, and penetration protection: performance specifications, typical details and reference drawings, and device and zone schedules, written so a design firm can build to them and a test can prove them
Define the per-site engineering basis:
which requirements apply to a site based on its risk profile and the threats it faces, with compensating controls and documented deviations
Write the acceptance criteria and test methods:
the verification method behind each requirement and the evidence a site must produce to pass acceptance
Set standoff, structural hardening, and site layout criteria
for new designs, tied to the threat basis they derive from
Run field verification:
commissioning and acceptance testing of perimeter, detection, video, and lighting against performance criteria (detection coverage tests, photometric measurements, video quality checks)
Write the operational and design requirements for security operations control rooms:
console layout, wall versus workstation content, supervisor placement; room network, power, backup, and resilient communications to the team's segmentation and hardening baseline
Own control room acceptance:
factory and site acceptance criteria written before the build, then accept or reject delivered systems (video wall, consoles, cabling, fit-out) against them
Minimum qualifications
Have designed or specified physical security systems (perimeter barriers, intrusion detection, video, security lighting) for campus-scale sites: multiple buildings, a secured perimeter, many detection zones
Read and produce construction documents (site plans, civil and electrical drawings, device schedules, submittals) using standard design and markup tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Bluebeam, and find what is missing as readily as what is wrong
Write performance requirements that are testable: each states what must be true, how it will be verified, and what evidence shows it
Have run commissioning and acceptance tests against performance criteria and rejected work that did not meet them
Derive requirements from a threat basis rather than a product catalog: you can say which adversary a control stops and where the next weakest point is
Have owned an engineering domain where you set the approach, chose what applied to each site, worked directly with vendors, and answered for the result
Preferred qualifications
Experience carrying a physical security design from construction documents through construction to acceptance testing
Experience engineering the security scope of colocation or partner-delivered facilities
Working knowledge of published standards for standoff, hostile vehicle mitigation, and intrusion detection zoning
Photometric and video quality measurement experience
Control room, AV, or network design experience: console layouts, video wall systems, resilient communications
Experience using AI-assisted tooling for drafting and review as a core part of your workflow
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$405,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit
anthropic.com/careers
directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
