About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role:
As part of Anthropic’s Global Safety, Intelligence, and Security (GSIS) team, the Security Technology Deployment Engineer will own the validation, standardization, and deployment of physical security technology across Anthropic’s rapidly expanding global office portfolio. This role bridges the gap between technology selection and production-ready operation — ensuring that every security platform deployed is rigorously tested, properly integrated with enterprise infrastructure, fully documented, and built for scale.
You’ll define the installation standards, configuration baselines, and deployment processes that the broader team executes against — from access control migrations and intercom replacements to AI analytics onboarding and new application integrations. You’ll work across InfoSec, IT, Networking, and Identity Management to ensure every security application passes review, integrates with SSO, and is supported within Anthropic’s infrastructure before going live. Your work will directly determine whether Anthropic’s security technology stack scales reliably as the company grows from dozens of locations to a global enterprise footprint.
Responsibilities:
Validate and deploy new and replacement security technology platforms including access control systems, intercom solutions, video management, visitor management, and AI/analytics tools across all Anthropic locations
Build and maintain staging environments for pre-production testing and validation of all security applications, hardware, firmware, and system configurations
Define installation standards, configuration baselines, licensing structures, update procedures, and maintenance requirements for every deployed security platform
Deploy integrations between security applications, validating that platforms communicate and share data correctly before transitioning to production
Support colleagues’ security applications through InfoSec review processes, ensuring new tools meet Anthropic’s information security and compliance requirements
Coordinate SSO integration for newly deployed security applications with Identity Management and IT teams
Transition applications requiring custom integration or data pipeline development to the IT Engineering team with documented technical requirements for roadmap inclusion
Initiate onboarding of deployed hardware and systems into Anthropic’s health monitoring platform to ensure operational visibility from day one
Develop standardized deployment playbooks, checklists, configuration templates, and handoff documentation that enable repeatable installations across all current and future sites
Evaluate security platforms for scalability, identifying capacity constraints, single points of failure, and architectural limitations before they impact operations at scale
Coordinate with Networking, IT Infrastructure, and Facilities teams to ensure all infrastructure prerequisites (network, power, rack space, cloud resources) are met prior to deployment
Execute structured handoffs to Project Management (for site programming), Break-Fix Support (for maintenance), and Access Control Administration (for ongoing system management), ensuring each team has the standards and documentation to execute independently
You may be a good fit if you:
Have 5+ years of hands-on experience deploying, validating, and managing enterprise physical security technology across a large or rapidly growing organization
Have deployed security technology across 50 or more sites, or have demonstrated experience in a high-growth environment where deployment velocity and repeatability were essential
Have built standardized deployment processes, playbooks, and configuration templates that enabled others to execute installations independently and consistently
Have experience working across InfoSec, IT, Networking, and Identity Management teams to onboard and integrate security applications into enterprise environments
Have supported SSO integration, InfoSec reviews, and enterprise application onboarding workflows for security tools
Possess broad technology experience across access control, video management, intercoms, visitor management, AI/analytics, and alarm monitoring platforms
Are a strong technical communicator who can define standards clearly enough that PMs, integrators, and service teams execute against them without ambiguity
Have experience with IP networking, VLANs, PoE, and infrastructure requirements for security devices
Are comfortable with 25% travel for site deployments, commissioning, and validation
Strong candidates may have:
Previous experience at a hyper-growth technology company or managing security technology programs for high-profile corporate environments
Experience with Anthropic’s specific technology stack: Genetec Security Center, Axis cameras, Wavelynx, Commend Symphony Cloud,
Alcatraz.ai
,
Ambient.ai
, SureView, Envoy
Industry certifications: Genetec, Axis, CCNA, PSP, CPP, or PMP
Experience with OSDP, modern credential technologies, and encryption protocols for physical security systems
Familiarity with scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell) for configuration management and deployment automation
Experience with health monitoring and observability platforms
Knowledge of SOC 2 compliance, GDPR, and physical security compliance frameworks
Experience with change management, configuration control, and version-controlled infrastructure documentation
Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be received on a rolling basis.

About the role
As a Customer Success Manager on Anthropic's Public Sector team, you will be the post-sales trusted advisor helping national security customers realize the value of Claude and turn their investment into mission impact. You'll combine your customer success expertise with technical fluency to drive adoption of Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Government (C4G) on classified infrastructure delivered through a cleared cloud provider, while maintaining our high standards for safety, security, and discretion.
Working closely with our Sales, Applied AI, Product, Engineering, and Policy teams, you'll guide customers from deployment through enablement, model migration, renewal, and expansion. You'll develop genuine partnerships with customers' AI leadership, platform and compute teams, security and accreditation officials, and mission operators—and with the cleared cloud providers and system integrators that deliver alongside us. Your understanding of their mission, how they accredit and govern capabilities on classified fabrics, and how they evidence value to oversight will help them deliver decision advantage.
Drawing on both your national security expertise and technical knowledge, you'll serve as a strategic advisor throughout their journey with us—helping them navigate constraints that don't exist in commercial or federal civilian deployments: classified-fabric accreditation, fixed compute capacity, compartmentation, limited telemetry, and need-to-know discipline. Much of this work happens onsite, in the customer's spaces, on their systems.
Your role focuses on driving consumption and adoption of Claude across mission workloads, standing up enablement and change management suited to a cleared, mission-driven workforce, identifying and hardening the workloads that matter most to the mission, and demonstrating value in unclassified terms that can leave the building and support renewal and expansion.
The insights you gather will directly inform our research priorities, product roadmap, and national security strategy—making you a key voice in shaping how Anthropic builds and delivers AI systems for the most demanding missions.
Key responsibilities:
Partner with the account executive and Applied AI architect to deeply understand the customer's mission requirements and translate them into an account and success plan, ensuring alignment between mission objectives, the customer's investment, and technical implementation
Serve as the primary post-sales advisor to the customer throughout their Claude adoption journey, from deployment through enablement, model migration, renewal, and expansion. You will need to build trusted relationships across the customer's senior stakeholders—AI leadership, platform and compute teams, security and accreditation officials, contracting, and mission operators—and coordinate internally across multiple teams and with cleared cloud providers to drive customer success
Support customers building with Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Government on classified infrastructure—managed configuration, capacity and throughput planning, and workload onboarding—with a working understanding of accreditation requirements (FedRAMP High, IL5/IL6, classified-fabric accreditation)
Create and deliver compelling enablement and executive content tailored to different audiences. You will need to spread the gamut from hands-on Claude Code enablement for engineering teams (Train the Trainer, managed configuration as the "paved road," Center of Excellence development) up to mission-value conversations with senior agency leadership, in unclassified language that can leave the building
Help the customer develop evaluation frameworks and measure adoption and value without direct telemetry—provider capacity reports, customer-run dashboards, workload registries, and agreed leading indicators—and guide model migration and release readiness: eval gates built from their workloads, staged cutovers off end-of-support models, and realistic expectations about what lands on their fabric and when
Drive consumption and adoption: separate under-pacing from burst saturation of a fixed compute pool, smooth and onboard workloads before asking for capacity, discover new mission workloads across compartmented organizations, and document value realized in mission-outcome terms (decisions accelerated, coverage, timeliness, findings produced)
Own Executive Business Reviews that function as discovery and alignment—leaving executives with sponsor commitments, mutual next steps, and a mission-outcome narrative that supports the renewal decision—and serve as the primary conduit between the customer, cleared cloud providers, and Anthropic
Identify common adoption and integration patterns and hero workflows that demonstrate mission transformation, and contribute insights back to our Product, Engineering, Research, and Policy teams—while maintaining strict separation of classified and unclassified channels and escalating correctly (e.g., 'Claude cut a high-volume analytic triage queue from days to hours')
Work onsite frequently at customer facilities for enablement, workshops, and relationship building, on the customer’s systems and within their security and need-to-know rules
Maintain strong knowledge of the latest developments in LLM capabilities, agentic and Claude Code implementation patterns, and national security AI policy
You may be a good fit if you have:
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, this position requires U.S. citizenship and an
active TS/SCI security clearance with a current full-scope polygraph
(a TS/SCI with CI polygraph may be considered where crossover is supportable)
Must have prior experience working with US national security
(defense and/or intelligence)
agencies
—ideally at the level of AI leadership, platform, and compute teams rather than a single program office—and a working knowledge of how national security agencies accredit, budget, govern compute, and measure mission (including the difference between FedRAMP High, IL5/IL6, and classified-fabric accreditation, and the role of cleared cloud providers and system integrators)
5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles such as Customer Success Manager, Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, or Consultant, with experience navigating complex stakeholder environments; able to work onsite at customer facilities in the National Capital Region 3-4 days per week
Experience driving success with consumption-based products (tokens, throughput, capacity) as well as seat-based products, including measuring adoption and value when you cannot see usage directly
Technical fluency with AI/ML concepts, API integration patterns, and agentic tooling such as Claude Code; familiarity with common LLM frameworks, tools, and evaluation approaches, and hands-on experience building something with an LLM API or coding agent, is a strong plus
Exceptional ability to build relationships with and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, from engineering and platform teams to security and accreditation officials to senior national security leadership
Judgment and discretion: never over-promises on dates, capabilities, or documentation; practices need-to-know as a reflex; keeps composure under political and competitive pressure; strategic mindset to identify mission transformation opportunities and translate them into actionable expansion plans
Excitement for engaging in cross-organizational collaboration, working through trade-offs, and balancing competing priorities—advocating for customer needs across internal (Applied AI, Policy, Research, Security) and external (cleared cloud provider, system integrator, program office) stakeholders
Passion for thinking creatively about how to use AI in a way that is safe and beneficial for the national security mission, and ultimately furthers the goal of advancing safe AI systems
A knack for bringing order to chaos and an enthusiastic 'roll up your sleeves' mentality—you're a true team player

About the role
As Claude reaches more people, including individuals, businesses, developers building on our APIs, and the platforms and resellers building on top of those, knowing who is on the other side of a request and what they are allowed to do becomes foundational to running our products responsibly. Creating a centralized identity, verification, and access system that every Claude surface draws on is important to accomplishing our mission.
We are hiring a Product Manager to own the safe access. The primitives are the building blocks the rest of Anthropic uses to manage access to models and capabilities: access programs, accounts, organization linking, verifications, user APIs for platforms, and the internal tooling teams use. You will own the end-to-end product experience and strategy for internal and external access,, across every surface.
This is a role for a strong executor with the ability to be agile in shipping in a 0-1 product space. Safe access is a new product that sits on the critical path of every model launch and every access program. Requirements arrive from many organizations at once, and most weeks you will be the person defining the problem rather than receiving it.
Key responsibilities
Own the product strategy and roadmap for the account and access primitives, with the goal that any team at Anthropic can provision access or run an access program with minimal support. This is highly ambiguous and requires a lot of cross team coordination and deep understanding of the systems of today.
Own the end-to-end experience of getting and managing access for internal stakeholders (research, model launches, safeguards, go-to-market) and for external customers and partners, and keep it consistent across every surface. This requires thinking through many user types, with vastly different experiences.
Support the API designs and the UX of the access APIs that platforms, resellers, and internal services integrate with. Work through the designs with engineering and make calls on the primitives yourself.
Partner with the trusted access and verification product managers so that new programs compose from shared primitives rather than one-off builds.
Coordinate across the product, safeguards, legal, and go-to-market teams, and drive alignment when their requirements conflict.
Minimum qualifications
Are a strong executor with a track record of shipping through ambiguity and cross-organization dependencies.
Write clearly enough that an engineer, an executive, and an external partner can each see the tradeoff you are making.
Have owned a developer platform, identity, authorization, or access-management product end to end, and were the person accountable for its outcomes (for most people this means five or more years as a PM, but we care about the ownership, not the years).
Care about Anthropic's mission, and specifically about scaling access to Claude safely.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research.
About the Role
Storage plays an essential role at Anthropic across research, development, product, and running the business. Our exabyte-scale, multi-cloud storage infrastructure underpins training, CI, sandboxing, inference, warehousing, and long-term data retention. Our storage needs are growing rapidly with Claude. To keep up, we're looking for engineers who have designed, secured, operated, scaled, governed, and optimized blob storage platforms at hyper-scale.
You'll join a welcoming, collaborative, high-trust, high-velocity team that is devoted to our users and Anthropic's mission. You'll bring deep experience, essential technical guidance, user-centric product sense, and hands-on significant contributions to help us evolve Anthropic's storage capabilities while absorbing increasing volume and complexity. You'll own high-stakes architectural decisions and deliverables to make stored data securely and speedily accessible across varying infrastructures and regions. You'll collaborate closely with other orgs to drive world-class security, usability, reliability, and capacity/cost efficiency: both for the data we store, and the ways we make it accessible to power a wide range of workflows.
You'll partner with research, training, infrastructure, business, and data teams to understand our storage needs and opportunities, today and in the future. You'll drive strategic investments that uplevel Anthropic's ability to ship safe, useful AI at speed.
Key Responsibilities
Shape the technical strategy and architecture for Anthropic's storage layers
Build strong relationships with our users and partner teams, and deep understanding of their access patterns and unique security, usability, and business requirements: everything from large-scale ML and training workloads, to financial data processing with strong controls

Break large problems into deliverable milestones, and lead cross-functional teams to ship new capabilities safely at unprecedented speed
Work across backend stacks, abstraction layers, and clients to provide users with simple, consistent interfaces no matter where data lives
Plan and lead large migrations of critical workloads with user minimal disruption
Participate in and improve operations, including SLOs, observability, capacity planning, incident response, and on-call
Stay hands-on in code and production, including in the most critical and complex areas
Minimum Qualifications
Experience designing, building, and operating a large-scale distributed storage system in production, such as an object store, distributed file system, or block storage service.
Deep understanding of storage system fundamentals, including: Replication and erasure coding, consistency models, metadata management, durability, failure handling, high availability, access controls, identity models, security approaches, abstraction layers, network requirements, multi-region considerations
Experience serving as an owner, tech lead, or architect for a large, complex infrastructure system that orgs and customers depend on
Strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on coding ability in at least one systems language, such as C++, Rust, Go, or Java
Experience operating and steering critical infrastructure at scale, including security, on-call, incident response, capacity planning, customer support, and cost efficiency
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience driving alignment on technical direction and user-facing across multiple orgs and stakeholders

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to own quality for our AI voice virtual agent. This role is for someone who is equally comfortable reasoning about a large language model's behavior and reading a SIP trace.
You should be interested in testing non-deterministic systems. A voice agent takes a live phone call, transcribes speech that may be accented or noisy, interprets intent, reasons over an LLM, generates a spoken reply, and decides whether to resolve the request or hand it to a human—all within a latency budget callers will notice. Nothing in that chain can be validated with a simple assertion of equality, so you will design the evaluation approach that makes it testable anyway.
You should also be interested in the underlying telephony. Testing this agent means placing real calls: provisioning SIP endpoints and softphones, driving calls programmatically, controlling media conditions, and distinguishing a model failure from a codec, jitter, or call-routing issue.
PLEASE SUBMIT CV IN ENGLISH.
ONLY ACCEPTING CANDIDATES FROM LATAM.
ADVANCED SPOKEN ENGLISH IS REQUIRED.
Responsibilities
Embed fully within a Scrum team
, participating in all ceremonies and maintaining associated artifacts.
Own the end-to-end test strategy
for the AI voice virtual agent across the LLM, speech, and telephony layers.
Design test scenarios for complex conversational behavior
, including multi-turn dialogues, interruptions and barge-in, ambiguous or incomplete input, out-of-scope requests, human escalation/transfer, and failure recovery.
Build and maintain an evaluation framework for non-deterministic output
, leveraging golden datasets, semantic/rubric-based assertions, and automated regression detection for prompt, model, or retrieval changes.
Adversarially test the agent
against hallucinations, incorrect grounding, guardrail bypasses, prompt injections, and unauthorized disclosure of customer data.
Prepare and provision SIP devices
, endpoints, and call scenarios to automate call origination end-to-end.
Diagnose failures across the entire stack
, isolating issues down to the LLM, ASR (speech recognition), TTS (text-to-speech), media path, or call routing layer.
Extend automated coverage
and integrate test suites into the CI/CD pipeline to serve as release gates.
Define and track core quality metrics
, including task completion, containment, intent accuracy, transcription accuracy, response latency, and escalation correctness.
Maintain documented test coverage in the TMS
with full traceability to business requirements.
Communicate and escalate quality risks
to stakeholders backed by data and evidence.
Requirements:
5+ years in QA
, with recent hands-on ownership of a complex, integrated product.
Practical experience testing SIP/VoIP systems
, including call flows, SIP signaling, media handling, softphones, or SIP trunking, with the ability to troubleshoot using SIP traces or packet captures.
Demonstrated creativity in test design
(live scenario design will be a core part of the interview process and heavily weighted).
Proficiency in Python
, sufficient to independently build and maintain automation frameworks.
Experience testing non-deterministic or probabilistic systems
, with a clear approach to designing assertions for variable outputs.
Strong analytical skills
, including the ability to define quality metrics, justify their calculation, and use data to back release decisions.
Hands-on experience with formal TMS tools and Jira
.
Professional fluency in English
(spoken and written), with reliable overlap with US Eastern business hours.
We use the following technologies:
Python with pytest
for test automation.
Playwright
for browser and WebRTC-based call driving.
JsSIP / WebRTC
for programmatic call origination and media control.
SIP softphones and devices
for manual and exploratory testing.
Allure TestOps
as our TMS, linking automated runs to documented test cases.
Jira
for project management and issue tracking.
Jenkins & GitHub Actions
for CI/CD pipelines.
Grafana
for quality and delivery metrics.
LLM APIs and evaluation tooling
— currently in active development, and we are open to any effective approach.
Pluses:
Direct experience testing LLM-based or conversational AI products
, including evaluation frameworks and LLM-as-a-judge approaches.
Familiarity with speech technologies
, including ASR/transcription accuracy measurement (WER), TTS quality assessment, endpointing, and silence detection.
Experience with RAG or retrieval-grounded systems
, specifically in evaluating grounding correctness and context retrieval.
WebRTC and media-layer testing experience
, including codec behavior and performance degradation under jitter or packet loss.
Background in testing IVR, contact center, or conversational IVR platforms.
Multilingual testing capabilities
, with emphasis on Spanish/English code-switching.
Literacy in prompt engineering
, sufficient to analyze system prompts and identify potential failure modes
We are pleased to offer:
Remote work opportunity!
B2B Employment ($, gross).
Stable job with long-term growth perspective.
Competitive salary with annual performance review.
Really good hardware.
An exciting and challenging job with talented people around.
Continuous learning and career growth opportunities.
Compensation for professional training, seminars, and conferences.
Referral program: get rewarded for helping us grow the team with talented people.
Company-supported English classes to enhance your professional growth.
Creativity is a core requirement for this role, not a nice-to-have. The defects that matter here are found by someone who imagines the caller who interrupts mid-sentence, switches languages halfway through, gives a partial account number, answers a different question, or deliberately tries to jailbreak the agent. Scenario design is the primary skill we are hiring for.
Current State: We have automated call testing built on JsSIP/WebRTC with Python and Playwright, alongside a growing body of test scenarios. The evaluation layer—how we score responses consistently, catch regressions when a prompt or model changes, and report quality metrics leadership can act on—is where this role will have the most impact.

Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do.
We're looking for a Marketing Executive, Value & Promotions to join our Marketing Team in Dubai. This is a hybrid role.
Role Overview
As Marketing Executive, Value & Promotions, you will report to the Senior Marketing Manager, Value & Promotions for the Middle East. You will own the day-to-day delivery and performance of our promotional and incentive campaigns, working cross-functionally to ensure every offer is targeted, well-timed, and commercially sound.
Incentives sit at the centre of how customers experience value on the platform - they influence whether someone tries the app, comes back, or drifts away. This role owns that layer day to day: turning the promotional calendar into targeted campaigns across the customer lifecycle, and making sure every campaign earns its budget.
What You'll Be Doing:
You’ll be joining the Middle East Marketing team. You will work cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Tech, Data Science, and Global/Central teams to build promotional plans that improve customer experience and drive operational excellence.
Here’s What Your Day-to-day Might Look Like:
Promotional Calendar Execution:
Own the day-to-day execution of the Middle East promotional calendar, translating the quarterly plan into targeted campaigns across the customer lifecycle: acquisition, activation, retention, and win-back.
Promo Strategy Development:
Contribute to the development of strategies focused on how value propositions can change customer behavior and drive ROI for Deliveroo and our Partners.
CRM & Lifecycle Campaigns:
Work with CRM and Tech to build and deploy in-app and lifecycle campaigns, ensuring offers reach the right customer segment at the right moment.
Campaign Set-up & Accuracy:
Own the set-up of promotions end to end - eligibility, caps, dates, and copy - so every offer goes live as briefed and on time.
Customer-centric Programmes:
Work with Data Science to translate customer and performance data into promo mechanics that are genuinely relevant, not just discounted.
Budget Tracking:
Own campaign-level budget tracking and reporting, flagging when a promotion’s ROI or margin impact is off plan.
Performance Optimization:
Own weekly reporting on in-flight campaign performance and post-campaign analysis, identifying what worked, what didn’t, and what’s worth testing next.
Test & Learn Agenda:
Design and run local test-and-learn experiments, feeding results back into the broader promotional strategy.
Competition Monitoring:
Keep on top of competitor trends and market activity to keep our offers sharp and well-positioned.
Customer Advocacy:
Champion the consumer voice, ensuring every promotion offers genuine value rather than just a lower price.
What You'll Need to Thrive:
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in Growth Marketing, CRM, Campaign Management, Marketing, Commercial Strategy, or Promotions within a high-growth technology, marketplace, e-commerce, or consumer platform.
Commercial Acumen:
Experience owning or supporting customer incentive strategies and promotional campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes, with working knowledge of core commercial metrics (CAC, LTV, GMV, margin impact) and how promotional decisions move them.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related discipline.
Analytical Rigor:
Strong analytical skills - proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and BI tools like Looker, and comfortable interpreting data to shape campaign decisions.
Technical know-how:
Experience running or supporting A/B tests and translating results into recommendations.
Attention to Detail:
Organised and accurate, able to run several campaigns at once without letting the details slip.
Collaboration:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders and the confidence to communicate at all levels.
Execution Focus:
A self-starter attitude, with a proven ability to deliver results quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation.
Language Skills:
Fluent English; Arabic language skills are an advantage in this market.

Unlike other SRE roles, this position centers on automating the lifecycle of many tenant environments, ensuring they remain secure, consistent, and reliable at scale.
Some examples of the projects you could work on:
Designing infrastructure automation that provisions and operates GitLab environments using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
Creating and maintaining deployment packages for GitLab, such as Helm Charts and omnibus-gitlab
Building and operating Dedicated GitLab instances integrated with cloud-native services (e.g., GCP, AWS)
Developing tools to orchestrate infrastructure-as-code workflows across multiple tenants
Deploying and managing microservices on Kubernetes clusters at scale
Enhancing GitLab’s observability stack (e.g., Prometheus, ELK) to support proactive monitoring and incident response
Integrating with and operating infrastructure in cloud provider ecosystems (e.g., IAM, networking, storage)
Championing and implementing cloud security best practices across automated infrastructure
What You’ll Do
Build & Scale Multi-Tenant Infrastructure:
Design and implement automation that provisions and manages hundreds of isolated GitLab environments using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes. Manage complex state strategies and workspace configurations to support scale and maintainability.
Debug & Resolve Production Issues:
Troubleshoot issues across Kubernetes clusters, cloud services, and GitLab apps—identifying root causes of failed deployments, crash loops, and scheduling conflicts to ensure service continuity.
Automate Operations at Scale:
Replace manual workflows with infrastructure-as-code solutions, including automated version upgrades, configuration rollouts, and provisioning pipelines that operate reliably across all tenants.
Monitor & Predict Capacity:
Build observability systems that detect bottlenecks, predict usage trends, and optimize resource consumption using tools like Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana.
Respond & Lead During Incidents:
Lead incident response and postmortem efforts, applying technical depth to resolve issues and establish operational standards that reduce future risk.
Architect & Collaborate:
Influence architectural decisions around automation, scalability, and operational excellence. Partner with engineering teams to improve automation, platform resilience, and production-readiness.
What You’ll Bring
Production-Scale Experience:
Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot production workloads across multiple tenants or environments. Deep understanding of how distributed systems fail at scale and how to build in resilience.
Terraform & IaC Mastery:
Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, including workspace strategies, state management, and automation patterns that scale. Comfortable solving state isolation issues and building reliable, reusable infrastructure code. Experience with Ansible and templating tools like Jsonnet is a plus.
Kubernetes in Production:
Skilled at diagnosing deployment failures, interpreting pod logs, and debugging scheduling issues and rollback scenarios in live environments. Understands how pods, ReplicaSets, and controllers interact in production.
Programming & Code Analysis:
Ability to read and debug code in Go and/or Ruby. Familiar with identifying performance issues, scalability concerns, and contributing to infrastructure tooling through thoughtful code analysis.
Large Scale Operations Background:
Experience supporting infrastructure for many customers or environments simultaneously. Comfortable managing isolation, scaling, monitoring, and incident response across diverse workloads.
Architecture & Incident Response:
Able to reason through complex systems and operational challenges. Brings on-call experience and can lead technical discussions and incident resolution efforts under pressure.
Customer-Focused Collaboration:
Proven ability to work across teams and with internal or external customers to solve technical problems while maintaining service commitments and clear communication.
GitLab Platform Proficiency:
Comfortable using GitLab as a daily tool for infrastructure automation, collaboration, and operational workflows.
About the team
GitLab’s Dedicated team, where the SRE Environment Automation role sits, is on a mission to deliver a fully managed, single-tenant GitLab experience through the GitLab Dedicated platform.
This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About the role
Anthropic's Supplier Security & Assurance (SSA) team sits within Security GRC and is responsible for assessing the security of our suppliers: evaluating whether vendors meet our security requirements, capturing the deviations, and giving the business a clear approval decision it can act on. We assess the vendor population a frontier AI lab actually depends on: SaaS and software, human data operations, compute and data center providers, hardware suppliers, and services firms. The program is designed agent-first so that people spend their time on judgment, remediation, and the vendors that matter most.
As a member of the Supplier Security & Assurance team you will run supplier security assessments end to end: reviewing evidence, verifying agent-drafted evaluations, determining inherent and residual risk, and driving findings to closure with vendors and business owners. You will also carry the work that extends assurance past the approval, from contractual security terms and secure configuration baselines to continuous monitoring and reassessment, and you will help shape the tooling and requirements the program runs on.
Key responsibilities
Run supplier security assessments: review agent-prefilled outputs, evaluate vendor controls and evidence, determine residual risk, route to domain reviewers where deeper assessment is warranted
Operate supplier issue management and risk treatment: document each finding with a severity, an owner, and a due date, drive remediation with the vendor and the business owner, record risk acceptances, and roll open issues up to the risk register
Run continuous monitoring after approval: reopen an assessment on defined triggers (data classification change, new SOC 2 report, new subprocessor, vendor incident), investigate SaaS configuration, data, and use case drift signals, and queue a reassessment where the vendor's scope has moved
Improve the program as you run it: identify gaps in coverage, questionnaires, requirements, and tooling that surface during assessments, propose the fix, and carry roadmap items that mature supplier security overall
Tune and maintain our Claude-powered assessment platform alongside the team: prompt development, questionnaire and assessment type design, calibration against assessor decisions, and output QA
Contribute to KPI and KRI reporting on coverage, cycle time, residual risk, open issues, and reassessments due
Minimum qualifications
Experience running supplier security assessments end to end at a technology company: scoping the engagement, determining inherent risk, reviewing controls and evidence, documenting residual risk, and driving findings to closure
Working knowledge of risk fundamentals (inherent and residual risk, control effectiveness, compensating controls, risk acceptance) and the judgment to apply them when the evidence is incomplete or the answer isn't in a framework
Ability to assess a vendor across security domains, and to recognize which findings you can close yourself and which need a security domain specialist
Track record of driving risk treatment to closure through influence across teams with competing priorities
Experience building or tuning an LLM-backed workflow, agent, or automation in a risk, compliance, or operations context, including tuning prompts and reviewing model output for accuracy
Experience building or operating issue management workflows: logging issues with a clear owner and due date, tracking remediation, and escalating when treatment stalls
Working technical knowledge of SaaS security configuration (SSO and SCIM, admin scoping, sharing defaults, audit log export) and of standard vendor security contract terms (DPA, incident notification, subprocessors, audit and testing rights)
Ability to read a SOC 2 report or penetration test and turn it into findings: identify control exceptions and carve-outs, map complementary user entity controls, and judge what the evidence does and does not prove
Preferred qualifications
Experience assessing cloud infrastructure, data center, or data-pipeline vendors
Experience supporting SOX, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 third party or vendor management controls
Experience assessing additional, more specialized vendor cohorts from a security risk perspective: human data operations or data labeling vendors, hardware suppliers, compute providers and neoclouds, and others
Experience with post-approval supplier continuous monitoring: configuration, data, and use case drift detection, shadow IT & SaaS detection, vendor incident management, or evidence-based vendor audits/site visits
