What We’re Building
Honeycomb is a service for the near and present future, defining observability and raising expectations of what developer tools can do! We’re working with well known companies like HelloFresh, Slack, LaunchDarkly, and Vanguard and more across a range of industries. This is an exciting time in our trajectory, we’ve closed Series D funding, scaled past the 200-person mark, and were named to Forbes’ America’s Best Startups of 2022 and 2023!
If you want to see what we’ve been up to, please check out these
blog posts
and Honeycomb.io
press releases
.
Who We Are
We come for the impact, and stay for the culture! We’re a talented, opinionated, passionate, fiercely inclusive, and responsible group of bees. We have conviction and we strive to live
our values
every day. We want our people to do what they truly love amongst a team of highly talented (but humble) peers.
How We Work
We are a fully distributed company, which means we believe it is not where you sit, but how you deliver that matters most. We invest in our people and care about how you orient to our culture and processes. At the same time we imbue a lot of trust, autonomy, and accountability from Day 1. #LI-Remote
Little more about the team:
You’ll join a high-performing, strategic sales team focused on moving Honeycomb further into the enterprise space. We’ve proven product-market fit, closed Fortune 500 logos, and built a pipeline that’s primed for the kind of enterprise sellers who know how to multi-thread, influence the C-suite, and navigate $500K–$1M+ ACV opportunities. This is not a role for a former mid-market rep trying to stretch—it’s built for enterprise closers who know the game and want to win it.
What you’ll do in the role:
Own and drive complex, 6–12+ month sales cycles with Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 companies
Build strategic, multi-threaded relationships across engineering, DevOps, observability, and procurement leadership
Sell consultatively, bringing deep understanding of the customer’s business, technical landscape, and buying process
Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Architects, Product, and Customer Success to shape high-value, tailored deals
Deliver predictable pipeline growth, accurate forecasting, and exceed quota targets
Represent Honeycomb at key industry events, conferences, and executive briefings
What you’ll bring to the role:
5+ years of full-cycle enterprise SaaS selling experience, ideally in DevOps, observability, or cloud infrastructure
Proven ability to land $500K+ multi-year deals with complex buying committees
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders across technical and non-technical roles
Deep discovery, storytelling, and consultative selling expertise
A track record of building champions and navigating enterprise buying cycles with precision
Grit, ambition, and a bias for execution—someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
Experience leveraging MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or similar enterprise sales frameworks
On Target Earnings (OTE) based on level of experience (Base + Commission)
$275,000
—
$300,000 USD
What you'll get when you join the Hive:
A stake in our success - generous equity with employee-friendly stock program
It’s not about how strong of a negotiator you are - our pay is based on transparent levels relative to experience
Time to recharge with unlimited PTO
A distributed-first mindset and culture (really!)
Home office, co-working, and internet stipend
Full benefits coverage for employees, with additional coverage available for dependents
Up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave, regardless of path to parenthood
Annual development allowance
And much more...
Please note we cannot currently sponsor or support visa transfers at this time.
Additionally, in compliance with applicable law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work.

At Offchain, we aren’t just building products: we’re leading a movement.
As pioneers in blockchain scalability and security, we're at the forefront of transforming how the world interacts with decentralized applications. We're laying the foundation that will define the next generation of digital commerce, governance, and human interaction. This involves tackling real-world challenges that come with scaling blockchain technology, without compromising on its core principles: decentralization, security and transparency.
At the center of this vision is our people. Our team is made up of thinkers and doers that embrace new challenges and seek solutions that push existing boundaries. If you’re energized by solving unprecedented problems, and believe in the role that decentralized systems will play in creating a more equitable digital future, then we want to hear from you.
Why Offchain?
Offchain is setting the pace for the entire Ethereum ecosystem. We built the Arbitrum stack that powers Arbitrum One, the most widely adopted Ethereum scaling solution that exists today.
Arbitrum’s ecosystem is undergoing tremendous growth with hundreds of projects and dApps on Arbitrum One today. Over 100 different teams have used Offchain technology to build their own Arbitrum chains. Major players in the space, Robinhood, BlackRock, Ethena Labs, Securitize, Aave, and Apechain are all using the Arbitrum stack.
Arbitrum’s thriving ecosystem wouldn’t exist without our advanced technology stack. Arbitrum, Prysm, ZeroDev. These aren’t just product names. These are tools that are actively reshaping what's possible on Ethereum and advancing its core infrastructure.
To top it all off? We’re backed by $124 million in funding. We’ve demonstrated consistent execution with billions in secured value, thousands of supported projects, and infrastructure processing millions of transactions seamlessly.
The Role
As a Senior Security Engineer at Offchain, you will emulate the real-world tactics, techniques, and procedures of sophisticated adversaries to surface vulnerabilities across our infrastructure and ecosystem tools.
You’ll run hands-on penetration tests, lead red team exercises, and work side-by-side with blue team partners to test, refine, and strengthen detection and response capabilities.
Your efforts will directly shape how Offchain designs, launches, protects, and achieves compliance for the infrastructure that powers millions of users and applications - including key standards such as SOC 2.
What you'll do:
Conduct comprehensive code audits across a variety of internal applications and infrastructure.
Conduct comprehensive penetration tests across cloud environments (AWS), infrastructure, and backend applications.
Collaborate with detection engineering, threat intelligence, and incident response groups to review security controls, uncover coverage gaps, and enhance overall detection quality.
Build, maintain, and evolve custom offensive tools, scripts, and automation frameworks to increase assessment speed.
Offer offensive security expertise during incident investigations, including log analysis and root cause reviews.
Keep up with evolving threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methods; share research internally and engage with the wider security community.
Own offensive security projects from start to finish, mentor junior team members, and cultivate a culture of ongoing learning and knowledge exchange.
What you'll need:
5+ years of experience in offensive security, penetration testing, red teaming, or a closely related field.
Extensive experience with conducting code audits to identify and remediate security issues.
Experience with binary exploitation.
Mastery of AWS & specific attack techniques and configuration weaknesses.
Strong understanding of adversary tactics and frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
In-depth knowledge of web application security, including OWASP Top 10, ASVS, and common vulnerability categories.
Proficiency using offensive security tools such as Burp Suite, nuclei and similar frameworks.
Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages, with proven experience developing tools or automation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical details as clear, risk-focused recommendations.
A natural ability to think like an attacker - creative, determined, and skilled at assessing risk across complex systems.
Nice-to-haves
Web3 / blockchain security exposure: smart contract auditing, bug bounty hunting (e.g., Immunefi, Code4rena), or DeFi protocol review.
Familiarity with Ethereum L1 / L2 node architecture and security risks.
Experience in blockchain infrastructure penetration testing.
Perks:
Remote-first global workforce + NY office
Professional reimbursement program (facilitates industry conference attendance, certifications, and more)
Medical, dental & vision coverage (US + some other countries)
401k retirement plan + company match (US only)

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.

Our process is very simple: those who make product decisions are the same ones who build them.

WHICH AREA WILL YOU JOIN ?
By applying to this role, you’ll be considered for three different areas. Throughout the hiring process, we’ll discuss your experience, strengths, and interests, alongside our current hiring needs, to determine which area would be the best fit for you and where you could have the greatest impact. We’ll share this with you before the final stage of the process.
- Claims Management: We refund €350M+ in healthcare expenses every year to 1M+ members across France, Belgium, Spain, and Canada. Our mission is to pay each member the right amount, as quickly as possible, while staying cost-effective for Alan. We have built the entire claims chain in-house, from LLM-powered parsing of 2.5M documents per year https://medium.com/alan/how-we-reached-70-document-processing-automation-at-alan-674bc80f3ef3 and a global coverage engine that determines how much each member should receive, to payment infrastructure, fraud prevention https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/chaque-euro-fraud%C3%A9-%C3%A0-lassurance-sant%C3%A9-cest-un-de-moins-martos-ssxae/, and the member experience across mobile and web https://medium.com/alan/universalisation-at-alan-how-we-stopped-building-everything-twice-7feb8d88a4a8. You’ll work on deep systems that must be reliable 24/7 and operate at scale, where every improvement has a direct impact on a member’s bank account.
- Insurance Offer: We build the infrastructure that protects 1M+ people across four countries. Our mission is to make insurance simpler, more scalable, and more effective for our members and customers. You’ll work on real-time pricing, AI-powered tools that empower Sales, and Alan’s next-generation global insurance stack. More information here https://medium.com/alan/how-we-refactored-one-of-our-most-used-data-models-33cadaf31313 and here https://medium.com/alan/one-stack-for-every-country-and-product-inside-alans-core-stack-e87a127efa12.
- Customer Enablement: We run the engine behind every company that joins Alan. We bill 40K+ companies across four countries, affiliate their employees, and keep payroll and employment data accurate for 1M+ members. Our mission is to build the shared infrastructure that enables other Alan services to operate reliably and efficiently. You’ll work on a multi-country billing and invoicing platform, affiliation and employment systems that determine who is covered and from when, reconciliation tooling that identifies coverage and billing mismatches, and the APIs used by other teams to build their services. These are systems where correctness is non-negotiable: a wrong invoice or a missed affiliation can be visible to a company within the same week.
