About
Customer.io
Over 9,000 companies — from scrappy startups to global brands — use our platform to send billions of emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS every day.
Customer.io
powers automated communication that people actually want to receive. We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data.
About the role
Hi, my name is Caitlin, Senior Manager, Technical Support at
Customer.io
, and I'm looking for an Email Deliverability Specialist to join our deliverability program within Technical Support. You'll help customers reach the inbox by diagnosing sending issues, advising on best practices, and guiding senders through an email ecosystem that keeps changing.
You'll be one of several deliverability experts on a team that shares knowledge across Technical Support, so your work reaches well beyond your own queue. You'll partner with Customer Success, Technical Support, and Engineering: taking customer calls, equipping CSMs for customer conversations, working through complex technical cases alongside Engineering, and turning what you see in tickets into documentation, training, and better processes.
You'll thrive here if you think about the health of the whole program, enjoy improving how work gets done, and are equally comfortable digging into a detailed case and having a direct conversation with a customer about acceptable use.
What we value
Empathy and curiosity:
You approach every customer with patience and a desire to dig deeper, especially when a conversation gets uncomfortable.
Clarity:
You explain complex technical concepts simply and help others do the same.
Collaboration:
You build strong partnerships across Support, Customer Success, and Engineering, and you treat customer outcomes as a shared goal.
Thinking at scale:
You look at how we do things today and see what could work better for the whole organization, then you help make it happen.
Continuous learning:
You stay ahead of evolving standards and see change as a chance to improve how we work.
What you'll do
Act as a trusted deliverability advisor to customers, handling complex cases through to full resolution and leading customer calls when a conversation needs it
Audit sender setup and monitor reputation across IPs and domains, using authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and BIMI, DNS configuration, and provider tools like Google Postmaster Tools, Yahoo Sender Hub, and Microsoft SNDS to diagnose blocklists, spam traps, and engagement drops
Work through highly technical issues with Engineering, taking ownership of the investigation first and sharing trends from customer cases with Product and Engineering
Identify acceptable use policy violations and spam complaints, hold clear and direct conversations with customers about compliance, and keep up with evolving standards (Gmail and Yahoo sender requirements, CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
Equip CSMs and Technical Support with the knowledge to handle deliverability conversations, through coaching, documentation, and training
Improve processes, tools, and one-to-many resources, such as help content, Academy course and proactive customer guidance, so deliverability support scales across the organization
What we're looking for
2-4 years of experience in email deliverability at a mid-size or large ESP, B2B SaaS company, or marketing automation platform, with exposure to deliverability at scale
Deep understanding of email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI) and infrastructure (SMTP, MTAs, DNS), with the technical comfort to work through complex issues with Engineering
Proficiency with provider data feeds (Google Postmaster Tools, Yahoo Sender Hub, Microsoft SNDS) and third-party deliverability monitoring tools like Everest, MXToolbox, or similar, and the analytical skill to turn bounce, engagement, and blocklist data into clear recommendations
Working knowledge of email compliance and acceptable use standards, and comfort having direct conversations with customers who are sending outside of them
Experience building or improving processes, documentation, or training that help a support or deliverability team scale
Excellent written and verbal communication, including comfort leading customer calls and simplifying technical concepts for any audience
Located in the United States or Canada
Bonus: participation in deliverability communities (M3AAWG, ESPC, or similar) and experience partnering with Customer Success teams

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, growth, and overall health of a book of 8–12 of Ramp’s largest and most strategic customers. You’ll own the long-term relationship and be accountable for maintaining and growing revenue, driving product adoption, and ensuring your customers achieve meaningful business outcomes on Ramp.
You’ll build deep relationships across all levels of your customers’ organizations, from day-to-day operators to C-suite executives, and be skilled at managing complex stakeholder dynamics and product configurations. Internally, you’ll partner closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams at Ramp to strengthen our B2B relationships, coordinate strategic initiatives, and feed structured insights into our product roadmap and internal processes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own a portfolio of 8–12 strategic Enterprise customers, with clear accountability for retention, expansion, and overall account health
- Maintain and grow revenue and usage within your book of business by identifying, pitching, and executing on upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Build and execute detailed account and territory plans, including QBRs and executive reviews that highlight results, surface risks, and align on future growth
- Lead frequent customer conversations (status calls, roadmap discussions, upsell conversations, and QBRs) to ensure customers are achieving strong outcomes with Ramp
- Own end-to-end execution of renewals and expansions, from discovery and solution design through commercial negotiation and close
- Serve as a Ramp product expert, proactively uncovering workflow gaps and recommending solutions that save customers time and money, while guiding them toward deeper platform adoption
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, Sales, CSMs, and Solutions to coordinate customer initiatives and deliver tailored, enterprise-grade solutions
- Provide structured feedback to product and leadership teams, translating customer needs and patterns into recommendations that shape Ramp’s Strategic and Enterprise roadmap
- Navigate and align internal and external stakeholders, including C-suite executives, investors, partners, and cross-functional teams
- Use data and analytics to inform your strategy, monitor account performance, and communicate impact and opportunities in a clear, grounded way
WHAT YOU NEED
- 9+ years of experience as a Account Manager or Account Executive
- 3+ years managing strategic Enterprise accounts (2,500+ employees or Fortune 1000) with proven commercial ownership
- Strong familiarity with Fintech, Payments, Finance/Accounting, or B2B SaaS products
- Demonstrated success negotiating and closing complex six-figure renewals and upsells
- Ability to understand and communicate complex product workflows, integrations, and technical configurations
- High fluency in financial value drivers — able to articulate ROI, payback periods, process modernization, and cost savings
- Deep sense of ownership with the ability to build processes, playbooks, and documentation from 0→1 as strategic customers push the limits of Ramp’s platform and require new, scalable solutions
- Strong executive communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally and at the C-suite
- Consistent track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets in fast-paced environments
- Operates with urgency, grit, and ownership; thrives in environments with innovation, change, and ambiguity
- Willingness to travel for customer on-sites, events, and internal team summits

✨ ONE PLATFORM, A WHOLE WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY
The best jobs have always clustered in a handful of the world's wealthiest cities. But talent is everywhere. Oyster set out to close that gap - building a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and care for brilliant people anywhere.
We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing:
- Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista's 2026 list of America's Top WorkTech Companies https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-hr-named-10-of-americas-top-worktech-companies-of-2026-by-time
- Named one of America's Greatest Startup Workplaces 2026 https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-2026-newsweek-award by Newsweek
- A G2 Spring 2026 Leader https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-named-best-roi-for-any-global-employment-platform-for-g2-spring-2026 across Employer of Record, Global Employment, Multi-country Payroll, and HR Compliance
- The only B Corp-certified global employment platform ~ independently verified since 2023
Two of those rankings measured our business impact from the outside. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They're the same one.
And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply.
THE ROLE
Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster’s positions are fully remote, and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for this employee and meet business needs, this role requires you to be based within +3/-3 UTC.
As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will help run accurate, timely, and controlled accounts payable operations for external vendors. You will coordinate closely with our invoice-processing BPO, resolve discrepancies, manage AP communications, complete reconciliations and close activities in NetSuite, and partner with Treasury, Accounting, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Beyond daily execution, you will help improve and automate the workflows that support Oyster’s global financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve AP discrepancies and vendor queries accurately and promptly.
- Support the BPO in processing invoices completely, accurately, and on time in NetSuite.
- Ensure AP work complies with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage AP mailboxes and communication channels with clear documentation and tracking.
- Process vendor’s invoices in NetSuite.
- Perform regular AP account reconciliations and investigate exceptions thoroughly.
- Partner with Treasury and Accounting to support timely, accurate payments.
- Complete month-end AP close activities.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant vendor master data.
- Contribute to cross-functional AP improvement and automation projects.
- Maintain AP documentation and training materials.
- Build effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Core Requirements
- At least three years of professional AP accounting experience, including financial processing and reconciliation.
- Advanced ERP experience.
- Advanced Google Sheets and Excel capability, plus proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- A track record of high-quality execution in high-growth, high-volume, globally distributed AP environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated AP process-improvement and technology-innovation experience.
- Detail-oriented, structured, and systematic working methods.
- Self-motivation, initiative, and proactive problem-solving.
Bonus / Nice-to-Have Experience
- Formal accounting education or a related qualification.
- Payroll-processing experience.
- Advanced Netsuite experience.
This might not be right for you if...
- You prefer narrowly transactional work without process-improvement ownership.
- You have limited experience on a standard AP process with Purchase Order
- You are uncomfortable investigating ambiguous discrepancies across several stakeholders.
- You need close day-to-day direction rather than independently prioritizing work.
- You have limited experience with high-volume, global AP operations.
You'll also need
- A reliable home internet connection and fluency in both written and spoken English.

The AI orchestration of your wildest imagination.
n8n is the open workflow orchestration platform built for the new era of AI. We give technical teams the freedom of code with the speed of no-code, so they can automate faster, smarter, and without limits. Backed by a fiercely inventive community and 500+ builder-approved integrations, we’re changing the way people bring systems together and scale ideas for impact.
Since our founding in 2019, we’ve grown into a diverse team of over 260 - working across Europe and the US, connected by a shared builder spirit and with our centre of gravity in Berlin. Along the way, we’ve:
- Cultivated a community of more than 650,000 active developers and builders
- Earned 190K+ GitHub stars, making us one of the world’s Top 40 most popular projects
- Backed by top investors, from Sequoia’s first German seed to our SAP's recent strategic investment - bringing us to a $5.2bn valuation
That’s the company we’ve built. Now we’d love to see what you can build. If you’re applying, try n8n out - whether you’re technical or not - and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us. The easiest place to start is here: app.n8n.cloud/register http://app.n8n.cloud/register.
We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
🎯 Your main goal will be to own and help build a scalable renewal motion for our Scaled Customer Success segment: protecting revenue and ensuring contracts reach a signed outcome ahead of expiry.
As our first dedicated Renewals Specialist, you’ll manage the end-to-end commercial renewal process for a high-volume portfolio of Enterprise customers, typically €20k–50k ARR, with around 60 renewals per quarter. You’ll work closely with our Scaled CSMs while helping us build the processes, operating rhythms, and automation that will allow renewals to scale as n8n grows. You'll usually work with billing/procurement contacts and the n8n champion on the account (often a technical user or engineer).
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own renewals end-to-end. Prepare and send renewal quotes, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, manage procurement and contractual back-and-forth, create order forms, coordinate signatures, and ensure completed contracts are accurately processed in our CRM and billing systems.
- Manage a high-volume renewal pipeline. Keep around 60 renewals per quarter progressing with clear next steps, accurate renewal dates, and enough lead time to avoid preventable last-minute slippage.
- Partner with CSMs on renewal risk. Work closely with Scaled CSMs to understand customer health, identify potential churn or commercial risk early, and determine the right path to renewal.
- Keep the forecast accurate. Maintain reliable renewal forecasts, close-plan notes, and CRM hygiene so we have a clear view of upcoming renewals and revenue retention.
- Build a more scalable renewal motion. Identify where processes break down or create unnecessary manual work, and improve the workflows, templates, operating rhythms, and automation behind them.
- Navigate the business independently. Partner with Finance, Legal, Sales, and Customer Success to resolve commercial or contractual blockers and keep renewals moving.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🔄 B2B SaaS renewals experience: You’ve owned commercial renewals, account management, or a commercially focused Customer Success portfolio in B2B SaaS, including negotiating contracts and renewals with business customers.
- 📚 High-volume portfolio management: You’ve managed a sizeable book of customers and are comfortable keeping dozens of commercial conversations moving simultaneously. Experience with smaller Enterprise accounts and roughly €20k–50k ARR contracts is particularly relevant.
- 🤝 Commercial & contractual confidence: You’re comfortable negotiating pricing and terms and navigating the practical mechanics of SaaS renewals — quotes, order forms, procurement, legal review, approvals, and signatures.
- 📈 Operational rigor: You manage your renewal pipeline with discipline. Forecasts, dates, next steps, and CRM data stay accurate, and you take ownership of getting contracts closed on time.
- 🚀 High-growth startup experience: You’ve worked in a fast-growing environment where processes change quickly, ownership is high, and the answer isn't always already documented.
- 🛠️ Builder mindset: You don't just execute a process — you notice where it isn't working and help improve it. You’re comfortable creating structure while doing the work at the same time.
- 🤖 Automation mindset: You’re interested in using automation and AI to eliminate repetitive work and make high-volume processes more scalable.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- ⚡ Scaled Customer Success experience: You’ve worked in a high-volume or scaled CS/renewals model before.
- 🏢 Exposure to a mature renewals function: You’ve seen what strong renewal processes look like at a larger SaaS company and can bring some of those learnings into an earlier-stage environment.
- 🛠️ Relevant tooling: Experience with CRM, CS, or renewals tooling such as Salesforce, Gainsight, or similar.
- 🤖 n8n experience: You’ve used n8n or another workflow automation platform and are excited about what automation can do.
WHY JOIN US?
At n8n, you won’t be stepping into a fully established renewal function - you’ll help create it.
Our Scaled Customer Success team is still relatively new, while the number of customers and renewals we manage is growing quickly. As our first dedicated renewals hire for this segment, you’ll have real influence over how we structure the renewal process, what we automate, and how we manage retention efficiently as we scale.
This is an opportunity to combine hands-on commercial ownership with building something from the ground up. You’ll work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and Legal, and you'll be able to see the direct impact of your work on our customers and revenue.
We’re particularly interested in using AI and automation to scale the function without simply adding more headcount, so if you enjoy finding smarter ways to eliminate repetitive work and improve processes, you’ll have plenty of room to experiment.
Sound like a challenge you’re excited to take on? Apply now and help us build the renewal motion that will support n8n’s next stage of growth.
n8n is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
About the Role
We're hiring a Product Manager for Supabase Realtime https://supabase.com/docs/guides/realtime. You'll own the surface area developers use to build live, collaborative and event-driven apps on Supabase: Broadcast https://supabase.com/docs/guides/realtime/broadcast, Presence https://supabase.com/docs/guides/realtime/presence, Postgres Changes https://supabase.com/docs/guides/realtime/postgres-changes, and the capabilities we build next.
You'll work closely with the Realtime Engineering team and with partners across Product Management, Design and GTM.
This role is ideal for someone who's excited about building tools for millions of developers and who has a passion for the types of user experiences unlocked by simple, scalable real-time channels. You should have a nuanced understanding of full-stack application development, including existing and emerging real-time and sync patterns.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- You'll collaborate with customers of all sizes and expertise levels: from an indie developer adding live updates to a side project, to startups building collaborative SaaS, to enterprise teams streaming live data to dashboards.
- You'll own the problem statements and solution rationale behind the Realtime roadmap. This means working with Engineering and Design to shape how Supabase crafts the developer experience for the problems you’ve prioritized solving.
- You'll shape how Realtime evolves to enable future application experiences, including its role in AI apps and alongside other Supabase products.
- You'll own Realtime packaging and pricing, working with Pricing, Finance and Billing.
- You'll use data to understand how Supabase developers are using Realtime features: where they succeed, where they get stuck, and what to tackle first.
- You'll keep Engineering, Design and GTM aligned. You'll own the plan of record for what's coming, why, and in what order.
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
MUST HAVE
- 5+ years of Product Management experience on developer tools, or are an ex-founder with equivalent depth. You're comfortable commenting on an architecture doc, following a design discussion, and advocating for the user when trade-offs are required.
- Have owned an app development platform, feature or framework where real-time was core to the developer experience.
- Get your own answers from data. You know what you care about in terms of product instrumentation and are comfortable querying and cleaning your own findings.
- Are comfortable with Postgres and familiar with logical replication.
- Work async by default. Supabase is fully remote. You make decisions in writing and move work forward without meetings.
STRONG SIGNAL
- You have an existing audience among developers, through social media, open source or developer advocacy.
- Worked on a sync engine, local-first or live-query product.
- Worked with gaming, AR or collaborative-tool customers.
- Shipped something using Supabase.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.
- Tech Allowance
Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.
- Health Benefits
Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us.
- Annual Off-Sites
Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.
- Flexible Work
We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
- Professional Development
Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love.
- ~400 team members
- 60+ countries
- 20+ languages spoken
- Over $1B raised (including our $500M Series F)
- 540,000+ community members
We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The People Team at Notion exists to help build a generational company - one that enables people to do their best and most meaningful work. Hiring exceptional talent, at the right time and with care, is central to that mission.
We’re looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to partner closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to create a thoughtful, well-run, and genuinely human candidate experience. This role sits at the center of our hiring process and plays an important role in how candidates experience Notion.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
CREATE A CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE THAT REFLECTS NOTION
You’ll be one of the first and most consistent touchpoints candidates have with Notion. From scheduling interviews to answering questions and resolving issues, you’ll help ensure every interaction feels organized, respectful, and intentional. You’ll collaborate closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to continually refine our processes—so candidates leave feeling excited about what we’re building, regardless of the outcome.
COORDINATE INTERVIEWS WITH CARE AND PRECISION
You’ll manage and schedule a high volume of interviews across primarily non-technical roles, balancing speed with attention to detail. You’ll anticipate needs, communicate clearly, and keep candidates and interviewers aligned - making the process feel smooth and predictable, even as things move quickly.
BUILD STRONG RECRUITING FOUNDATIONS
This role is designed for someone early in their recruiting career who wants to build durable fundamentals. Over time, you’ll gain exposure to how we plan, execute, and scale hiring at Notion. With support from the team, you could take on light sourcing work, process improvements, and additional ownership as your skills grow - creating a strong foundation for future growth in recruiting, operations, or people-focused roles.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 6–12 months of experience in recruiting coordination or interview scheduling, ideally in a high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills - you’re proactive, reliable, and thoughtful about details
- A steady, calm approach in fast-moving environments
- Ability to navigate ambiguity with optimism
- Clear, kind, and professional communication skills - you’ll represent Notion to a large and diverse group of candidates
- You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience supporting both technical and non-technical roles, including remote and in-person interview scheduling
- Experience with Ashby, Workday, Slack
- Experience in a high-growth or startup environment
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 per year.
By clicking “Submit Application”, I understand and agree that Notion and its affiliates and subsidiaries will collect and process my information in accordance with Notion’s Global Recruiting Privacy Policy https://notion.notion.site/Notion-Global-Recruiting-Privacy-Policy-fc3eb4e829354a26a2bb6fd5e289b550?pvs=74 and NYLL 144 https://notion.notion.site/Ashby-AI-Bias-Audit-2b0efdeead05803bbbfae159ec86c528.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCOMMODATIONS
We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Consistent with applicable law, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Notion provides reasonable accommodations during the application process; if you need one, please let your recruiter know.
Notion is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate in hiring or any employment decision based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other applicable legally protected characteristic. Notion considers qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law. Notion is also committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application procedures. If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, please let your recruiter know.

THE ROLE
This role sits at the applied end of our post-training research efforts. You will work directly with stakeholders from the world’s fastest-growing AI companies to post-train open-source models that outperform frontier closed models on their specialised tasks. Your day-to-day is finding creative ways to extract signal from complex, domain-specific datasets and building the reward functions, environments, eval harnesses, and training pipelines that turn that signal into better models. The models you train ship to production and reach millions of users.
We are looking for people with hands-on LLM fine-tuning and RL experience. Researchers who are excited by the prospect of shipping models into production, who can translate a customer's domain-specific requirements into an effective training curriculum, and who know when to be rigorous and when to iterate fast.
RECENT RESEARCH
- Dense, on-policy or both? https://www.baseten.co/research/dense-on-policy-or-both/
- Repeated kv cache for long-running agents https://www.baseten.co/research/repeated-kv-cache-for-long-running-agents/
- Distillation without the dark – replicating black-box on-policy distillation on Baseten https://www.baseten.co/research/distillation-without-the-dark/
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and run post-training pipelines: SFT, GRPO, DPO, RLVR, reward function engineering, and synthetic data generation.
- Build task-specific training environments and evals tailored to customer domains like healthcare, code generation, and legal, spanning multi-turn tool use, sandboxed execution, and agentic workflows.
- Work directly with customers to translate production data into training signal, designing reward loops from real usage patterns and handling distribution shift.
- Run and analyze training experiments end-to-end: diagnose reward hacking, importance sampling drift, and advantage estimation instabilities.
- Publish findings at top venues and contribute to Baseten's open-source training libraries.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on experience training LLMs with reinforcement learning — demonstrated understanding of GRPO or PPO beyond recipe-level reproduction, including group advantage computation, clipped objectives, and KL penalty design
- Strong intuition for reward engineering: the ability to distinguish between a reward that trains effectively and one that will exploit at scale
- Experience building multi-turn agent environments with tool use, not limited to single-turn question-answering setups
- Comfort working across the full pipeline from dataset construction through training, evaluation, and deployment
- Experience with production ML systems. Preference for candidates who have closed a training–inference loop where production data feeds back into model improvement
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with RL training frameworks
- Publications at NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, focused on RL for LLMs, reward modeling, or alignment
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
